To the Book of Numbers.
-
May I direct your attention to the twenty second chapter
-
in the nineteenth verse, Brother Jesse James, chapter number four,
-
Verse number seventeen, Brother Nathaniel Psalm chapter number thirty two,
-
and verse number eight. Some of y'all have been dealing
-
with sickness this week. I'm glad to see you in
-
the House of the Lord. We've been praying for you.
-
Pray for Sister Sending Neeley. She is in the emergency room.
-
Don't try to call her, don't try to seek her out.
-
She's expressed of concern about some of that going on
-
concerning some of her family members. Do when I give
-
information like this, it's not for you to just seek
-
it out come walking in with a bouquet of flowers.
-
What she would prefer you do is pray in the
-
church today. Continue to pray for dear sister Cheryl. I'm
-
telling you God has helped her for that. I'm very thankful.
-
Are you thankful for your brother and sister being here
-
to now?
-
They tell me there's about sixty five in the building.
-
That means there's souls that belong to God in this place.
-
I'm sixty five or so in number that love the
-
Lord and want to worship him in spirited and truth.
-
So there's no reason at all for us to feel
-
that Elijah syndrome to feel down and out. Sister Rootin,
-
you sounded excited about serving the Lord. You sounded excited
-
because you are Brother Stared. It sounded to me like
-
you are excited about serving the Lord. I'm excited about
-
serving the Lord.
-
Amen.
-
It's good to see in church, Brother Jesse.
-
James, Chapter number four, verse number seventeen.
-
This is coming from the Epistle of James, one of
-
the pillars of the early Church.
-
Listen therefore to him that knoweth to do good and
-
do it it not to him it gives sin. Well,
-
Brother James, that doesn't give people much lead weight. That
-
doesn't really allow them much room to maneuver and wiggle
-
out of whatever it is they're supposed to be doing.
-
There's no wiggle worm in that chapter. There is no
-
wiggle room in that chapter, Brother Jesse.
-
I want you to read that again.
-
Y'all.
-
Listen to how clearly we are instructed concerning doing what God.
-
Told us to do.
-
Listen carefut therefore, to him that knoweth to do good
-
and do it and not to him.
-
It is sin Wow. Wow, James.
-
I'm going to meet you one day in glory Land,
-
and I can tell you you're not one to bullpunch
-
his Brother James, you're in that great grand stand cheering
-
us on and asking us to come home and to
-
remain faithful and true to God. You just let us
-
know that the sins of omission are just as severe
-
and as bad as the sins of commission. There are
-
things you should be doing that you're not doing that
-
can be sin unto you. There are things that you're
-
doing that you should not be doing that is sin
-
unto you. There's things you're not doing that you should
-
be doing that is sin unto you. According to Brother James,
-
he was speaking of church people. Somebody had aired, somebody
-
wasn't thinking correctly. Brother Nathaniel sam chapter number thirty two
-
and verse number eight. I will instruct THEE and teach
-
THEE in the way which thou shalt go.
-
I will guide THEE with my eye.
-
How many of you thank God for his guidance and
-
for his instruction. I thank God for the Holy Word
-
of God. Let's stand for the reading of our text numbers.
-
Chapter number twenty two beginning in verse number sixteen, The
-
Bible says that.
-
They came to Baylam and said.
-
To him, thus, saith Beaylax, the son of ziphor let nothing.
-
I PRAYTHEE hinder THEE from coming unto me, for I
-
will promote THEE unto very great honor, and I will
-
do whatsoever thou sayest uneo me come. Therefore, I pray
-
THEE curse me this people. And Balem answered and said,
-
unto the servants of Bayliak, if Baylak would give me
-
his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go
-
beyond the word of the Lord my.
-
God to do less or more.
-
Look at the last part of that verse, to do
-
less or more. I cannot go beyond the word of
-
the Lord my God to do less or more. Now,
-
therefore I pray you tarry ye also hear this night,
-
that I may know what the Lord will say unto me. More,
-
and God said unto Balem at night, said unto him,
-
if the men come to call THEE, rise up and
-
go with them.
-
But yet the word which I shall.
-
Say to THEE, thou shalt thou do our texas verse
-
number nineteen. Now therefore I pray you, terry, ye also
-
hear this night, that I may know what the Lord.
-
Will say unto me more. Are you kidding me right now?
-
Man of God, Prophet of God, Preacher of God, are
-
you kidding me?
-
Right now?
-
You're gonna go right back in that prayer clause and
-
pray about something to God's already given you the answer, toute,
-
I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled
-
accepting his answer. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we love him,
-
we praise you, We thank you for the opportunity to
-
be in.
-
Your house tonight.
-
I pray that you would have gone this, thy servant,
-
said a guard at my mouth, Help me to say
-
the things that you would have me to say, nothing
-
more or less, and knowing the ears of this thy people,
-
that they might hear what it is the Spirit of
-
God says or to the church.
-
Tonight, Not in my words, what of your words? May
-
they hear?
-
God?
-
I pray these sayings would go below the shoulders, Let
-
them saturate the spirit of.
-
The soul of the being. I prayed, God, don't let
-
these words.
-
Go in one year out the other, and whirl around.
-
And troil around in that mind and making eggs and
-
help them and hit the bar. God, pray them, God,
-
you know who you're speaking tonight. I pray that they
-
would receive these words joyfully and gladly.
-
In Jesus' name.
-
In the church said Amen, as you're being seated, look
-
at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, are you willing
-
to accept his answer?
-
Again?
-
Preaching a message the Holy Ghost titled accepting His Answer?
-
Our text is found in.
-
An Old Testament book of the Holy.
-
Bible, the Book of Numbers.
-
I may have witnessed some smiles turned upside down when.
-
I said the word numbers.
-
I recently heard from someone that told me they despise
-
arithmetic and mathematics.
-
There's people in this building.
-
Tonight that despises working when numbers. Sister wouldn't work with
-
numbers for many years. As one of the accountants at
-
our husband's business, I work with numbers every single day
-
of my life. Yesterday, I was out of town on
-
business for about five hours. While I was speaking with
-
one of the presidents of a very large company, him
-
and I were trying to add and subtract numbers. We
-
were working with measurements and dimensions. We were trying to
-
strike the right number in order to meet code. I
-
know that there's people in this building. You probably don't
-
even recognize that this book is a book in the Bible.
-
You don't recognize it as one of the books of
-
the five book Pentitug. But in this particular book of
-
the Bible, there is information that is very important to
-
an Israelite as well as a spiritual.
-
Israelite, meaning somebody that believes in Jesus Christ as Lord
-
and Savior. Personally, I enjoy studying this new miracle data
-
found in this book, while others in this building.
-
Do not care one thing about it.
-
Some here tonight have noticed that I cited the world population.
-
The number of the world population is seven billion, a
-
lot of times plus or minus.
-
A lot of times.
-
During the service, I will cite the world's population at
-
seven billion, plus or minus. When I first started preaching
-
down here about eighteen years ago, I would cite the
-
world's population at six billion. I remember doing some research
-
back then, and I've done some research in recent years,
-
and that number is rapidly changing. On a daily basis,
-
on an hourly basis, and even on a minute and
-
second basis, that number is changing it's almost impossible for
-
a mortal man to keep up with the number of
-
the Earth's population.
-
So Brother Jesse, I.
-
Feel like this book of numbers and this book of
-
statistics must have something in it that is very important
-
for us to get a hold of. Brother Nathaniel, I
-
find the content of it quite interesting and fascinating.
-
This book of the Bible gives a lot.
-
Of specifics and details concerning the Israelies.
-
Well, I don't care how many Israelites there were doing
-
this or doing that.
-
But I'll tell you this when it comes to you
-
as a spiritual israeliede, as somebody that said, I've been blood.
-
Balt and I'm a born again child of God.
-
Of my name is written in the road book over
-
there yonder in the sweep my mind.
-
You're definitely thankful.
-
That God has your name and number.
-
You're definitely thankful that God has your name and number
-
in his contact list.
-
So I'm glad for God's showing.
-
Us that he keeps up with the name of the
-
number of all of his people. I'm thankful that He
-
knows about every single boy, girl, dad, mom, grandpa, and
-
grandma in.
-
This building and cares so much about them.
-
That He ows the numbers of their heads. And if
-
you believe that God knows the.
-
Number of the hairs upon your head.
-
I believe you could say that God is very mindful
-
of you. If He is concerned about the little Sphaoh
-
in the barn loft having its necessary.
-
Food and meeting his daily diet requirements, there is no doubt.
-
As the Soumists, we say, what is man and the creature.
-
That thou art mindful of him?
-
What is Man in the creature that thou visitest him
-
in our times of needs? So we find great relief
-
and comfort in knowing that we're under the watchful eye
-
of our heavenly Father. I'm glad to know that whatever
-
number I am, and I'm glad to know whenever he
-
calls the.
-
Number that I am home, that I'm one of his.
-
I know there's people in this building. You don't appreciate
-
the fact that in some of the Gospels you have
-
to read of the lineage of Jesus Christ. But you
-
can get involved in the numerology of that and even.
-
Feel the power of the Holy.
-
Ghost their witness in your heart concerning things. And that
-
was the inspiration up tonight's message.
-
As I was.
-
Thinking about numerology and thinking about numbers and biblical statistics,
-
not something up to the Pew Research Centers of website,
-
but something out.
-
Of the Word of God.
-
The power of God got to move it in my heart.
-
And I started thinking about all of the information that
-
is in this Book of Numbers, and so the Bible
-
students and readers present to now you know some of
-
the things that happened to the israel Lies. As you
-
read the Book of Numbers, you see that.
-
They had a rough goal of it during their time
-
in the wilderness. How many people in this building understandingnied
-
that God did not intend for them to spin their
-
wills install in the sandy things of the wilderness. And
-
so wilderness life is not exactly the perfect plan or
-
the will of God.
-
But because God.
-
Is a God that works all things together for our good,
-
God was able to take what should have been a
-
seven day journey.
-
And allow these people to grow and.
-
To develop and mature over a period of forty years.
-
There's some of you in this building tonight.
-
You're experiencing wilderness life when you should.
-
Be in Canaan Land by now.
-
You see, there's people that would tell you your son
-
is good.
-
Cool teachers would tell you that things happened.
-
To the israel Liza while in the wilderness that should
-
have never happened to them and their desert babies. In part,
-
every single person that left eachyp's land should have occupied
-
Canaan's land. But we find, according to this book of
-
the Bible, that most of those that left Egypt's.
-
Land, they did not walk into Cana's land.
-
But I don't want that to be the case of
-
metal where some dad and mob missed out while they're
-
offspring enjoy their lessons of God.
-
In the wild of God.
-
You can see as you study this book of the.
-
Bible that God does not look upon rebellion when alive.
-
I've looked at my son.
-
Sometimes as they look at their children, and there's been
-
times that they grin just a little bit before they
-
speak a word of discipline or take disciplinary action, they
-
smile and cause of their child's rebellion. I'm not saying
-
they coached them into rebellion, or course them into rebellion,
-
or pushed them into.
-
Rebellion, or reward them.
-
From rebellion, but sometimes you can tell that they's somewhat
-
proud of that little boy that decided I would climb
-
to the top of.
-
That tree, even though they know.
-
That child had been told not to do it.
-
Somehow there's an element of delight in the fact.
-
Of watching that child grow Upford.
-
But I've studied this book of the Bible enough to
-
know that God does not belived in.
-
Rebellion at all.
-
In fact, Claus spoke to the Great Clock of Samuel
-
concerning stubbornness and rebellion, and he said, you don't want it.
-
You might as well be a witch or a.
-
Witch doctor and commit idolatry and commit human sacrifices on
-
a daily basis.
-
And for you to expect me.
-
To accept her, come on, accept stubbornness and rebellion. We
-
expect God to accept our stubbornness and rebellion that sometimes
-
we're so reluctant, and hasit to accept her his actual
-
concerning her, his real.
-
For our life. That a Nathaniel I foun.
-
That God does not take delight in grumbling her and
-
writing her.
-
God does not like it one bit.
-
It does not bring her a sly or sly in
-
it upon the face of God.
-
If pac con sided.
-
It that the good hand of God would turn there
-
over and change directions the same good hand of God
-
that kind of the steps up.
-
And a good man will give her.
-
And I'm hold here back of man a back hand.
-
Can I tell you that.
-
The hand of God can quickly change and directions and
-
it could swimply steer.
-
The grumbling that the rapping in the way.
-
Refolts back home course, And we see that it be
-
the trend.
-
Among people that call themselves.
-
The people of God when.
-
They find themselves in the sandy dudes of the wilderness.
-
You see sometimes when they're walking through the the reorder,
-
just the dustom of the ground turns in the carpet
-
by person on everyhend they're being struck.
-
Their heel is being.
-
Bruised, and for a time there is.
-
No remedy until they humble their separate and God moons
-
onest men to erect.
-
A braize and cross with their brazen serpent.
-
And for those that are willing to look towards them
-
that God has said is the answer.
-
Those are the runs that.
-
Make them a swift and a poor recovery.
-
That for every person held.
-
Down and helping to God out of the Lord and
-
to do their way, well.
-
It'll be a dust storm for them.
-
I'm telling you their dead body, their cold cuts, when
-
they and the sandy dude and dust storm.
-
Not to despair there.
-
Yet they wear them deeper and deeper away.
-
From everybody's memory.
-
I'm telling somebody in.
-
This building the night you don't realize you are trifling
-
with God.
-
You're trifling with her plan.
-
Say now, that's nothing that's hoever, let's.
-
Lie forever, it's nothing that's himl abowt. When God says
-
do it, We've got no chance not to do it.
-
There's gonna alternate round. This should be up with consideration.
-
It should be a simple yes, scrum to your wield,
-
and yes now to your way. But so many people
-
get caught up, as Janis and Chambers did, asking too
-
many questions, asking for reasons, why, asking for explanations, until
-
they get.
-
To the point and they question the motives of Moses.
-
They question the method.
-
Of Moses the Christian of comin and said, hell, could
-
it be above six hundred thousand?
-
To me?
-
You could be the only one hearing from God. How
-
many people present to not know the complain and brings.
-
A consequence, say I know that the heralds and Sister
-
Hannah two.
-
Can tell you the complaining in the prawl.
-
Household never changed things or turned in for the better.
-
And the saint can be said about the Lord and
-
a steep. This book of the Bible is proof positive of.
-
This very thing.
-
I've found it to be true that God is angry
-
when the wicked every day.
-
And he's also angry that those that.
-
Turn aside her and turned back when they should be
-
going forward.
-
He now want to do testing.
-
The writer said. He said, no, Brendan, how to set
-
his hand in the bowel and.
-
Looking back there it's fit.
-
For the kingdom.
-
Go Calor broke Tampa. He speak to me of somebody
-
that had good intentions. He worked in the lazy bar
-
recliner in the father's house. He wasn't in the swimming pool.
-
In the backyard.
-
That with good intention. He went to work with good intention.
-
He anticipated the harvest with good intention. He is treating
-
in worcome in that particular powder that wouldn't look back
-
for everybody knew it was our put for reconsideration. I
-
let you to know Tony in God's fitz and the
-
conments here and play.
-
It's a it's a point not for consideration.
-
It's enough said, enough said, enough said.
-
Oh my Jesus said, I keep preaching her saying the
-
go kovers I had.
-
I've heard and heard that.
-
Let me ask some parents about this.
-
If I was to look back there and look at
-
Betther Christian that's just along, I would ask them the question,
-
are y'all okay?
-
With brother Titus saying back to you, after.
-
You have provided ample instruction and direction, say more.
-
As though he did not comprehend.
-
What was being said, as though.
-
He could not wrap his mind around what your intentions
-
for him were.
-
I've seen children like this.
-
There's been times I've seen husbands and wives do this
-
to one another. It's easier for them to say what
-
did you say, rather than acknowledge that they heard and
-
understand what's your answer was. I've seen it in churches.
-
I've seen children doing to their parents. The parent gave
-
a clear answer, and they act like they didn't hear,
-
or they act if they didn't understand what. Hopefully, when
-
that parents take her again, the cause her for that
-
minutes for prison, that parent would feel.
-
That kickback and that the parent would revise her.
-
What has been said in the words of Pilate.
-
May I say concerned in the word of God. What
-
has been written is written. Jesus' outcome these words is
-
may he is written that all that you know, he
-
make ed a courser. He may tied up her mother
-
ter that it will leader in.
-
The wilderness life.
-
I said, it will read in the willerness life.
-
I know, I know that's for him. I'm not married.
-
I know that's the will of God for my life.
-
But I won't make this one take his the will
-
of God for their life. All right, answer that question
-
that I gave you about two minutes ago. Do y'all
-
thank Brother Christian and Sister Laurie would be okay. We're
-
Brother Titus questioning them, and we're requesting more and more information.
-
I want to ask your sister Lauren right now, how
-
would it feel? And Brother Titus made a habit of
-
asking for information. This mother would love to hear him
-
ask from more meat and potatoes at the dinner table.
-
After he's been sick.
-
Brother Nathaniel's little girl, Sister Rebecca, she has been very sick.
-
Brother Jesse's little boy, brother my son has been very sick.
-
I see the weight of leaving their bodies. I see
-
they're becoming a bag of bones are shriveling.
-
Up, and mom and dad is just waiting for the
-
day that that virus has taken.
-
As told and went on, but for the time that
-
God has healed them, and I believe and Sunday services
-
both of them took a turn for the better.
-
But when you see your child shriveling.
-
Up like that, it is a blessing for them to
-
ask for more.
-
I'd say, sister of Lord, would love to hear tyd
-
to say, are there more hours in the day for
-
school work?
-
Are there more hours in the day.
-
For household choice? And I promise you the child will
-
not ask that very often. In fact, they want to ask.
-
Dad and malve and principal and teacher and pastor.
-
To shorten the work or school day in order.
-
For them to do the less.
-
But how is it when it comes to.
-
The things of God unlock? It is with everything else and.
-
Everyone else we're content with less.
-
But when it comes to God, sister, how will you
-
see me stand outside of restaurants nil one or two
-
in the morning, literally listen to them say they.
-
Know where to be here. He didn't know her to
-
be there? Who know her to be doing this? And
-
they know them to be doing that.
-
I've seen preachers they call themselves seen men holdiness still
-
being standing behind the hoo pits in churches they call
-
themselves so holding this churches and say, I'm never supposed
-
to be doing this. I'm not supposed to be here.
-
I'm know I'm supposed to be there.
-
What happened?
-
Why did they never get here?
-
Why did they never get there?
-
Why did they never get into.
-
Because they are looking throw way out of that. I
-
said that sometimes you go to God, what time too many?
-
To tell about it? What time too many?
-
And the answer from God is even different than it
-
was a glorious night He moved on you.
-
I could use great plan.
-
Is a speech, and I could be very personal with you.
-
But when God called me out to leave a family
-
business in a six digit income anually, I had been
-
fishing on a lake, different lakes about three to four
-
times a week.
-
One of the first things I noticed when I moved
-
to LaBelle was these lakes down here are not premiere,
-
pristine lakes from the.
-
Public amusement, because there's chalk full of alligators.
-
I realized I wouldn't need the kneedboard. I realized I
-
wouldn't need the slalom ski. I realized I wouldn't need
-
the tube and I wouldn't even lead.
-
Those two jipskis because even running up and down the
-
close the hatchet could be a hazard.
-
There could be a tree floating in the river.
-
I could have my child of a kneeboard or on
-
the ether tube and then fall off, just like the
-
I did two hours up north of her, and give
-
to hit head on over a log floting down aboudy
-
for lousa hatchett. Hey, I had to put the fisher
-
pones up. I had to park the bast foot Today.
-
I got home after.
-
Lunch and I took a ride around to see what
-
my poise had been doing.
-
And I told sister.
-
Holler, they've done a good job.
-
And over there in the back corner of the property,
-
that shit old Bessie and I looked at her.
-
The rubbers come off the rim, the boats boding melding
-
the rock box.
-
That I used to stop for her, and come on down.
-
Loose steed sticks up the sticks, nice play shop Rells.
-
And Roger his guy just mooned. It's poon and Mesa
-
and I told her to see her.
-
He's this pretty and she's ever been. When I prayed
-
to pay.
-
Her eight thousand dollars for her and I loved the
-
fisher the guy in the wheel of God.
-
I didn't need an inner. Two, I didn't need a
-
need more. I didn't need my fishing polls.
-
God said, I've got something on you to know. Do
-
you do the fishing that.
-
You used to do, though not the luck I used
-
to do. There's many reasons for that number one. I've
-
never been shown how to fish like okachovie. Could I
-
figure it out?
-
Yes?
-
Could I do it on a weekly basis.
-
Yes, But I understood eighteen years ago that God read
-
arrange my priorities.
-
I've seen being made out of church in order to
-
sit in.
-
A deer stand.
-
Let me tell you how riding of a hound they are.
-
They spending much pouring out corner in the corner of
-
a pressure.
-
They go to gas pro shopper or try.
-
To supply or spend the baby's me money and got
-
her money from an automatic feeder. So they only have
-
to go out there about what's a week or.
-
Watch a month?
-
And then they check on a trail camera. They say, well,
-
what's about time?
-
Right? Then they set up a blind and they bought
-
and tried.
-
To supply or even worse wal water. Then they sit there.
-
And they are like her.
-
They're your Morod the mighty hundred time. Tell ain't no hunter,
-
he said, you're trying to tell the Native America.
-
In me you're a hunter. And then rif in your faith.
-
Look at this big buck I shot. Where'd you shoot it?
-
At the end of the driveway of Grandpa's property. You
-
body hunter, you, you mighty hunter.
-
You.
-
I went to the apple orchard and shot bamby right
-
up from the mama. And what I'm telling everybody, I
-
meant to hit baby, but really you were aiming for Mama.
-
And you don't got enough of God.
-
In you to say I was off aimed.
-
I remember when I started figuring out all these body
-
hunters come hunt season, had to beat in the woods.
-
And then I started inquiring about where they were hunting at,
-
and I found out the woods was the back five
-
or six acres that Grandma could see from her kitchen
-
window as she made bacon and venison and fry come
-
on backstrap from the previous year at the note that
-
she saw flop on the grassy plane down there. After
-
her grandson the mighty hunter Al Nimrod killed it.
-
Come on, are you killing me?
-
Are you kidding? Are you crazy? You're gonna pay five
-
thousand dollars to go down road right here and kill
-
an alligator?
-
They have that just right down the road.
-
There's a gator farm, and there's a ben from all
-
over the road coming the road.
-
I've been there. I've talked with the guys as they've laughed.
-
You pay for it by the foot. If you want
-
to get a thirteen footer.
-
Good, you might have to spend seven thousand. You want
-
to get that rare fifteen footer, yeah, that's good. You
-
might have to pay seventeen twenty thousand.
-
I don't know.
-
The prices are astronomical, out.
-
Of this world.
-
And we walked around a pond that might have been
-
about one acre if that maybe three.
-
Corners of an acre, And everywhere we went the guy.
-
Was saying, don't step on the gator's nest.
-
We try to step two or three feet this way,
-
he said, don't step on the gator's nest.
-
We try to step over here, he said, don't step
-
on the gator's nest.
-
And that pond is surrounded by cypress stops and cypress
-
trees was invested with Alan or.
-
So that were just thinking to come up and be
-
fetch some chicken corners.
-
Come on or hear you listen to me?
-
And he said, would you like to cay a little
-
bit of money to shoot one of them alligators? I said,
-
you know what, I'd rather poached Loyda on the back
-
side of the clusa hatch you and the pay you
-
set it at ten dollars and dollars to come up
-
of y'all. What I'm telling, I'll say you is the
-
serially reason take people and decide what.
-
To do, what God ship do the siy reason a.
-
Why not in church to tell minds and me standing
-
the fair Godda and the day attention and saying.
-
I get funding a man in Florida because I.
-
Must go right for my kids to swing it.
-
Here get your match me.
-
Standing a fair.
-
God, and me saying Goda, I ain't get a little
-
the Florida because there.
-
Was nowhere to put my dear stand.
-
Are you killing me?
-
Are you kidding me? Are you killing me?
-
Don't be a simpleton.
-
If anybody could do this, and this is God's business, God.
-
Would be calling any and everybody to do it. But
-
the reason why he.
-
Called you, he counted you faithful, putting you into the ministry.
-
And that could be extreet ministry, teaching a son'school class,
-
or just simply being a lefty or just simplicitting in a.
-
Pew and stand up with truth and righteousness.
-
Back.
-
And Sister Lauren, when it comes to her words of
-
guidance and instruction and discipline, she wouldn't be a happy
-
mommy if everything she gave her son Titus instructed and
-
told him to do, if he asked for more, Ram,
-
I need more guidance, I need more instruction, I need
-
more specifics.
-
I've men in details. I mean I need more than
-
what you've given me.
-
Brother Jesse, I found out when a God told me
-
to come down here, he had one word. It wasn't
-
that he had a limited vocabularia. I've got sixty six
-
books of his ability to put to words in men's
-
mouth like Peter that are getting at and unlearned and
-
make them seem has learned as an Oxford or a
-
Harvard scholar in their universities. But brother Caleb, he gave
-
me one word, and it was this though, when God
-
says Cora you got to dream latter, and you do.
-
You go forward.
-
You won't go assortos.
-
You don't go to the letter.
-
You don't go to the writer.
-
You just God, Brother Christian, you tell me. It just
-
sounds about right. Let me try to be sister Lauren.
-
I know a little bit about Sister Lauren her speaking
-
of brother Titus. No, Titus, I'm not saying any more
-
to you about this. You understand me, and you know
-
what you're gonna do. Young men, Now just go ahead.
-
And do what I said to do.
-
In Change, chapter number four and verse number seventeen, the
-
great Elder James.
-
The brother of John, John and James, the sons of Sunder,
-
the sons of seventy, he said these words.
-
It was one of our cotext.
-
They're poor to him that know it to do good
-
and do it, and not to him it is sin.
-
In our texts we find these words that I will
-
know what the Lord will say under me more.
-
Bam, you've already prayed about it.
-
I know, baby.
-
The King of Moabb has come to you and solicited
-
you for your services. You're a prophet of God. You're
-
supposed to be a man of God. You're not even
-
supposed to be praying.
-
Curses on your brothers and sisters of the nation of me.
-
But because bailable less promise, power and prestige and precis,
-
he said, I pray a little more about it. Listen,
-
if you can be fault on the preacher of the road,
-
if you can be fault call a policy sat up
-
the road. If you can be bought by that, if
-
you've got a possle and what to say, and the
-
govern lit read and do say.
-
What's your promise of.
-
Brother Jesse was talking about recently receiving a promotion in
-
position and pay an increase of pain and also with
-
an increase of responsibility. Brother Starrett mentioned or not something
-
he had told us about until tonight. He also now
-
has been promoted and he's got men under him, And
-
he was talking about the responsibility of teaching those that
-
don't have a teachable spirit and the responsibility of teachings
-
that do have a teachable spirit. Brother Jesse, I can't
-
imagine why a supposed prophet of God and named Balim,
-
that's already supposed to be traveling with the people of God,
-
but he's mixing and meanling with people he shouldn't be
-
involved in y'all familiar with Baylife, the son of zippor
-
sons school teachers, you know what I'm talking about.
-
He had heard about the children of Israel making their exodus.
-
He knew that God was with them and toward them,
-
and they have literally just stalked the Amaritza into the
-
dust of the ground. And Baylife, being a wise peint
-
and king over bab, he said, you know what, I
-
better get them where it hurts.
-
I better strike them where it hurts. And what I
-
got to do is get them one of their own. Now,
-
come on, go to Balem. He says, he's one of them.
-
But why is he hanging out over here?
-
Oh?
-
Come, I'm telling you.
-
You start hanging out to off center, you start hanging
-
out on the escorts of Stuntzer, start hanging out on
-
the perimeter.
-
It ain't gonna be too long.
-
It's gonna be a man on come by, and a
-
baylet come by, and they're gonna try to strike a
-
deal with you.
-
I'm telling you, God's poop.
-
To me and told somebody you better have shipped his answer,
-
it's doubtless plain and simple.
-
It was his answer. God, sip go and you'h God
-
said you better.
-
Go, and you better go.
-
God said you better do it, and you better do it.
-
No, said.
-
My sister Root, Sir enough because Baalim's Teina Toddard on
-
the fence, He's on the perimeter, baylife.
-
Decides to pick him off.
-
There's always the preachers that aren't totally sold out to
-
the seer of God's will. There's always those on the perimeter,
-
and those are the ones that are dangerous when you
-
find it to be so that injoy presence, there's a
-
brother that can't be best friends with the Bethel Brethren,
-
and he's always on the perimeter of One years went by,
-
and two years went by, and three years went by.
-
This is that beautiful church family here, I promising us
-
another church family as an example. But brother Richard Jacob
-
when they can't be friends like you and brother LaRue are.
-
And as single bachelors whose wives left them.
-
Because you two guys want to certain God.
-
You go to long camping together, you go over there
-
to legos together, and they're best friends, just like Simming
-
and leave I were.
-
You know, me and mother LaRue talk today in the.
-
Dollar General market. It was good to see him.
-
We talked for about ten minutes.
-
We didn't gossip, but we didn't talk about Caleb ro
-
Kampa and who she's married.
-
We didn't talk about church business.
-
We just talked about the job.
-
We talked about the goodness of God.
-
We talked about open air evangelism.
-
But always get a bit concerned when I see that
-
brother us been there three or four or five hours,
-
cents or seven or ten years, and for some reason.
-
Nobody can get comfortable.
-
With the facer that he's there.
-
Nobody seeing an interesting in purchasing real estate.
-
Nobody seeing an interesting in drawing down state, so nobody's
-
seeing an interest in them being at home. Those are
-
the people I've never used, and those are the people I.
-
Won't ever trust.
-
As long as I leaga, I will sit the test the.
-
Bogans, as long as I leega, I know thinger all
-
that will say ill, as long as I'm lega, I will.
-
Say now as I pay my state. I'm telling you,
-
people that come.
-
Off up perimeter, if you want to get.
-
Slap that center in the wheel of God.
-
I'm creature enough. I ain't playing.
-
You can tell blood of the wondering spirits. After two
-
or three years, we're still in the perimeter. After about
-
twenty minutes, there's no brother to talk to you. They're
-
gonna sit in the car.
-
Huh.
-
I tell you, I give you any excuse of the
-
book or why I shouldn't be here as well.
-
I had that opportunity to abandon this work for about
-
six years.
-
It was all we could do the whole fifteen or twenty,
-
and I was never satisfied with that. But I'm telling you,
-
you have to put your boots in the scene, and
-
you had to fill them up with sun, and you
-
had to get stationary.
-
I'm talking to some of you apparently that moved down here.
-
That wasn't my intention, But now I'm talking to some
-
of here that moved down here.
-
You need to stand stationary and stay put long enough
-
that you see a palm branch shooting up out of
-
your boots, or you feel your big toe hurting and
-
you feel a seashell under there, or they're at excuse me, somewhere.
-
You're standing around this pond. It ain't like the pristine
-
premiere les of the of the compare around Avon Park.
-
And Seabring and Mulberry. Then it ain't Clinch LAKEA. This
-
is the Calusa Hatchet. I want to ask you here tonight.
-
Is it clinch Laka or Calusa Hatchet?
-
What are you day dreaming about her?
-
Either you're a pastor.
-
What are you panasizing about that? Here?
-
You're a pastor?
-
Oh, come on now, it's beth o'baby. If God sits
-
you here, it's bethe o' lakey cod it nothing.
-
Get out of here as fast as you can go.
-
I say, there's so many wondering spirits and gypsy spirits,
-
so many people today are spending their entire life and
-
I've heard it, Tim, I'm sick of it asking the question.
-
I wonder if I'm in the sinner of God's will
-
will Jamee.
-
Said, it is Epistle.
-
He said there for here to know what to do.
-
Good and doing to not to him and a SINU
-
feel like me knowing to do better, me knowing the
-
word of God better be repusing to throw away the
-
tabhold me, repleasing.
-
To throw things to the curve.
-
I would say for me to.
-
Pastor in church, this fifty percent worldly would make me
-
a bayl them.
-
I would say for me to shah La la lah
-
over a rebellious person that's known to.
-
Do good and knowing the impact for twenty.
-
Years, I would say that I've got broader.
-
On my hands.
-
I'd want a step to the side. Time here, a
-
hold in his church and say.
-
You know what, we know how to do right, we
-
know what it's gonna take, we know.
-
How to leave it, we know how to do I said,
-
we know it.
-
If I started pastoring the world at church tomorrow, you
-
know what you'd all throw up in my face. James,
-
Chapter the fourth verse, number seventeen. He knows he should
-
be doing that. Here's what y'all would say.
-
He knows better than that.
-
We also, I.
-
Knew better than with my son's biological clock take to
-
a certain age. I knew better than to take them
-
off very long. I knew better than what churches the visit.
-
That's one of the reason why I'm not.
-
Dealing with sons with marital issues.
-
It's because I knew when God said come out from
-
among them and be separate.
-
I knew just the boss.
-
I don't buy that bishop's church does.
-
I don't may that reference church this my don't mind.
-
That's just as charge.
-
In our text we find those words that I will
-
know what to mow will say to me more that
-
sounds like al bayl them.
-
Pray with me that I'll get the will of God.
-
Pray for me.
-
Nothing's working out.
-
Pain't pray for me. I don't know if I made
-
the right.
-
Decision or not.
-
Pray for me.
-
I'm wondering if this is the judgment of God.
-
Pray for me. I'm wondering if I'm in the will
-
of God.
-
Pray for me.
-
I've heard that tell I'm sick about the time I
-
get encourage her as somebody's.
-
Finally done what God told him to do.
-
And so now Lovestock and Bell, did I receive a
-
message that says, I wonder if I'm supposed to be
-
on a mission?
-
Peeled, what that you think of?
-
It was gonna be easy either he should thank Peter
-
and Johnny and Change.
-
Did not tell you that I would not be easy?
-
They could tell him and do all of that. What
-
that Thomas shoe the same thing, Jesus Thomas shoe. Nothing,
-
Lord would be with you.
-
God doesn't promise immediate financial stabilization or security.
-
Ain't man of that?
-
Brother broke Cap said, I'm preaching to some of you
-
that moved down. Apparently I did not intend for it.
-
To be this way.
-
But when God says go, he meant what he says.
-
God says what he means, that he meant what he said.
-
I've said this for years. I've seen people play the
-
will of God game.
-
They make a move, they do this and do that.
-
They think God's bipolar, they think God's by polar. But
-
if you look at Jeremy Hamill, I guarantee you, Bud,
-
there's a simpers stunt probably in one boot.
-
And a palm tree and the other. There ain't no
-
fishing pole in the rock box. And I think a
-
little bit about that. I thought, yeah, But you know what,
-
as time goes on, I think.
-
Less of the sacrifice and I think more on the blessings.
-
As time goes on, I think less of the sacrifice,
-
and I think more of the compensation.
-
A business associate that I have. And there'll be something
-
that's listening. It'll try to find out who this is.
-
But they've been.
-
Trying to do a business with me and been trying
-
to get together. We've already been together for about four
-
or five months. By the Jesse went with me yesterday.
-
He witnessed it for first hand. Own one hundred and
-
one companies. They were having their jet picked them up
-
tomorrow to fly them all over the United States to
-
celebrate Christmas at various offices.
-
And Brother Samuel, they said, whenever we get done with
-
this one particular project working on some railing for a
-
ten million.
-
Dollar house, I'm telling you it's a beautiful little dollhouse.
-
That's what I'm told them, to build a beautiful little doll.
-
Brother Samuel. I had to make up my mind and
-
I hold to what I told them.
-
I'm not leaving the bell.
-
And Brother Samuel, you also received a job offer from
-
the state of Maryland about two weeks to go. Phone call, Kay,
-
say it to me like it lasted about thirty seconds.
-
Brother Samuel put it to them like this, if you
-
were to offer me five hundred thousand dollars a year,
-
the answer would be know. And because of the tone
-
of his voice of them knowing how sincere brother Samuel is,
-
they knew there's no need in talking. There's no need
-
in trying to talk him out of this and talk
-
him into it.
-
Are y'all women, but there's pet in this building.
-
You would take your wife out of the outbout steakhousel
-
and you would say things like you know, sister Looton
-
is a good example of an elder. But we're gonna
-
move somewhere, whether it's no holding this church where God
-
didn't tell us to go, and I'm gonna go pray
-
and I'm gonna faster. I'm even gonna borrow Bethel's fire
-
tourist and I'm gonna pray about it.
-
God's gonna say no, I'm gonna pray about it.
-
God's gonna say no, I'm gonna pray about it. Cost's
-
gonna say no. I'm gonna call him and say that
-
I hear you strengtha.
-
What was your offer?
-
And they're gonna tell me the offer Aginna. They're gonna
-
sleep in the PoTA.
-
That's the favorite.
-
Did he ship down in this run in in Vienna
-
to Blum One, he said, care Flum, I'll.
-
Give him there pray, I'll give him more position.
-
Now, I'll give him more priority.
-
If you know what pain I'm run and praying about it.
-
Ho Kim, I'm telling you you can.
-
Pray about it.
-
Look to your Carter.
-
Says yes, after he said no a thousand times, come
-
hold down, unjust tuckson there there. It's not a plickable
-
look in this insituation, in this environment with God, siys no,
-
he means no. Went God says yes, sir, he means yes.
-
Except the answer seek or swill charny. That's what I said.
-
We asked stupid questions, how, Jeremy, what are we gonna do?
-
Where's Abraham and Sarah's playbook?
-
They didn't have one?
-
Are you sure, Jeremy? I maybe one.
-
Hundred five times in six years. She was careful. She
-
is the weaker best bushy. And there were times she said,
-
I don't see it.
-
But I can tell you now.
-
We came down here with three or four. We didn't
-
come down here with seventy or eighty.
-
Ever, we didn't come.
-
Down here whever and move like God.
-
God move it in a mighty way.
-
But I can tell you this, sister, woot call you
-
a loud in your face if you think I wasn't
-
preaching like I'm preaching.
-
Now back there, just to give him and to color
-
you a liar to your face. I can picture like
-
that picture right now with one or two in this building,
-
and I ain't relying upon these notes.
-
Some of you.
-
You can't see me Sunday night, I can tell you
-
right now, I'm talking about Baylif, the son of Zipport.
-
It was the king of Molif.
-
And the reason why he was nervous is because these
-
great children of Israel just stalked the Amorites in the ground.
-
And he said, we better get God to curse them,
-
because he realized there was no army on this planet
-
that could turn them or that could harm them or
-
hurt them, and what he needed was God to curse them.
-
Oh, come on, I'm telling you, when God blesses the people,
-
there's no gossip God.
-
That can bring a curse on that church. There's no
-
troublemaker can do it.
-
In a split, there's no bailim on the perimitive vaiting.
-
On his life to get offended.
-
I told sister how concerning one sister here, I said,
-
if he's waiting on her to get off and that
-
he's gonna wait till he takes his last breath.
-
And he stood up tonight said I love it here. Ah,
-
y'all like this kind of preaching.
-
I know you do.
-
That's why God's blessing our church, and that's why you're
-
living holy because you.
-
Love what the word of God said.
-
And when you read it.
-
You don't try to explain it away. Then you don't
-
ask God to make an exception to the role when
-
you're reading.
-
Some literal translation. It is what he is. It says
-
what it says.
-
Not then not call mad.
-
It's no touch.
-
Of God pasta, yes, simply of God pastor, nor Presbyterian minister,
-
no prius Palterian bishop, no ruth and cardinal, your Roman
-
Catholic paper that can say, oh Liza.
-
They can ask God somewhere it is actually will be
-
he is.
-
I said he has.
-
Who didn't.
-
About the preacher out west that got caught with a
-
young woman in his office. Similar God preacher can't meet
-
and preacher everybody thought he was conservative of the more
-
conservative persuasion.
-
What was going on, I'll tell you what went on.
-
Whenever the payday got big enough, he overlooked certain things.
-
Y'll hold didn't come home. I didn't call any names.
-
But whenever he saw things going on, it did not
-
go on in Mama's house. So it ain't grandma's house.
-
He overlooked into. That's what happens when Baylittle gets.
-
A hold the perimeter.
-
I'm telling you we better align ourself with what the sample.
-
The word of God.
-
Forty something year old man shouldn't be caught with a
-
twenty something year old girl in the pastor's office. Huh,
-
what happened?
-
Somebody got above God, somebody got above truth and righteous
-
somebody got.
-
Above somebody said, let's just say a little more. His
-
sister's okay, this brother's okay. Y'all know, I'm an easygoing guy.
-
I believe him working with people. But listen, you don't
-
have to work with somebody twenty years. You don't have
-
to work for the same individual thirty years.
-
I've been working with people for a long time.
-
I'm almost fifty years of age, and until I die,
-
I will be patient.
-
With people, and I will work with people.
-
My brother Caleb, you know enough to say, he doesn't.
-
Have to work with me on holiness. Oh, he doesn't
-
have to work with me or tread to righteousness. So
-
his grandma's mehit his mama's limit. And now he's living
-
a town he can go to your preacher and say,
-
say a little more. Tell me it'll be okay to me, Yes, sir,
-
tell me to be okay to me.
-
Yet, it doesn't matter what the preacher says.
-
What matters is what let's say it the word of God.
-
The word of God have precedents, it should anyway. So
-
I've heard this statement since I was a teenager. The
-
decisions you are making today are the decisions you are
-
going to be in twenty years. The decisions you are
-
making today are the decisions you're gonna be twenty years
-
from now.
-
You miss church on Wednesday night, your son's gonna miss
-
church altogether. You miss church on Sunday night, your son's
-
gonna find it not a party to go to church
-
at all. I'm talking all of our Daddy's right here.
-
What you do in moderation, your children will do in excess.
-
And the church said, hey, my god, that's just stage.
-
That's brother Thomas Dais said, tonight, our conscience tells us
-
better than to do. But you know what, you can
-
see that conscience. You can kill your guard doll. That
-
conscience is like a guard dog.
-
You can kill the guard dog until you feel like.
-
It's all tell you because everybody else is doing it.
-
You know what that peer pressure? And that's what kind
-
of holm of baalim it was peer pressure. Peer pressure, Brokie.
-
The decisions you're making right now is very important. What
-
you say in front of your family. It's so important,
-
you better be careful. I remember telling the Full Time
-
Evangels one time. I said, you're gonna lose your daughter
-
simply because every time you get around a preacher, you're
-
talking about the hypocrisy of this one, in the hypocrisy
-
of that one.
-
I said, she's gonna lose confidence in everybody.
-
He took her away from us, and then it was
-
about seven years later she texted me. She said, Pastor Howell,
-
I've been strung out on drugs at times. I haven't
-
done right. I have not called any names, she said.
-
I have not been the advantageist world model's daughter. She said,
-
but I pretty much lost confidence in everybody. I still
-
had the text of this day.
-
She said, the.
-
Only man that I have confidence in in this world
-
is Jeremy Howell. And she said, you will always be
-
my pastor.
-
Yeah, because when it got right down to it, you
-
didn't favor popularity.
-
You could have had it, but you favored the Bible.
-
A very prominent business man stood face to face with
-
me yesterday. He was greatly moved emotionally when he saw me.
-
Did you hear his voice quake? His eyes just filled
-
with joy and jubilation.
-
We treated him good. But Brother Samuel, I've let him
-
know I'm not for sale. But I wonder if somebody
-
in this building will sell out too cheap.
-
To sell out for one penny less than what God
-
would have you stand for, it was to sell out
-
too cheap. Now I just felt my heart break. I
-
hope that I've helped somebody. I ain't even halfway through
-
this message, brother sam And how pray for me. God
-
does want to help you make the right decisions, just
-
as Lauren who want to help make the right decisions
-
for Titus.
-
But in that decision make a process.
-
You have to listen to God, and when you ask
-
God to speak, you have to accept his answer. And
-
once the decision is made, it's finished, it's done, it's sealed,
-
it's settled.
-
Since the wood, I'm.
-
Sick of young preachers and older preachers and even Christians
-
running around concerning their ministry saying I'm still waiting on
-
the perfect will of God. Listen, you got to invest
-
yourself in what God said, do sincris will. There's been
-
missionaries here. God tell them to go overseas, and they
-
went overseas. Good brother waldall Butler, And you know what,
-
they had a ministry of Brother Samuel for two years
-
and then they were killed by some tribal people. What's
-
easy for some religious person, even a Christian bishop of pastor,
-
an evangelist and overseer, even a parent that was not
-
okay with them obeying God, it's easy for them to say, See,
-
they weren't in the perfect plan of God.
-
They weren't in the perfect will of God, and.
-
They'd still be living.
-
Not so.
-
Sometimes it cost you blood, sweat and tears.
-
And I will tell you from personal testimony, ministry has
-
cost me health. Somebody asked me recently, said how's your help?
-
I said, I feel pretty good. They said, but are
-
you pretty good? I said, I feel pretty good.
-
In the fourth chapter, James the Church Elder shows us
-
how people respond to the Lord.
-
We read that verse.
-
It was our cotext and brother, and it breaks my
-
heart to think that he was saying concerning those we
-
see those who ignore the.
-
Instruction of the Lord and who choose to do it
-
their way. He said in the thirteenth verse of that chapter,
-
he said, go to ye that say today or tomorrow
-
will do this, today or tomorrow will go into such
-
a city and continue there a year, will buy and
-
sell and get gain, Brother Nathaniel, they are told that
-
they didn't even have their minds wrapped around what was
-
going on to take place tomorrow.
-
He said, what is your life?
-
But as a vacer, it's here today, a gold tomorrow.
-
How do you know what you're gonna do tomorrow? How
-
do you know what's gonna happen tomorrow? The evil today
-
is enough, Brother the Thaniel.
-
They may face destruction.
-
They're unaware that they may face elimination, they may face
-
termination of life.
-
James says, your life is brief, oll the brevity of life.
-
That's why I must be about the Father's business. Because
-
I'm not promised tomorrow. I'm not promised to be your
-
pastor Sunday. I'm not promised that my heart will beat
-
another beat when I say, let's gather around the altars.
-
So it's time for me to do the will of God.
-
Lest I beat jo that I didn't do what God's
-
wild was.
-
That's why Apostle Paul said, woe went to me if
-
I preach not the gospel.
-
Sometimes what you had to do is just climb onto.
-
That roller coaster seat, sit down, and strap the seatbelt
-
on and enjoy the ride. There's gonna be ups, and
-
there's gonna be downs, Brother Butler. There's gonna be twist
-
and there's gonna be turns.
-
There's gonna be climbing.
-
High, and there's gonna be falling love, Brother Phillips.
-
Sometimes it even bush silling me through the earth and
-
take you through a tunnel and come out and blue sky.
-
That's how I best describe being in the will of God.
-
Sometimes you feel like being pastor.
-
I walked out the.
-
Door today growing in a spirit. I love pastoring you all.
-
I love each and every one of you. But I
-
knew what God had put on my heart. I opened
-
the door, not even realizing what I was doing. I went, oh, well,
-
and your mama said what.
-
I said?
-
Nothing, just the way of delivering a sermon and act
-
because I don't know what people is going to do.
-
I didn't even hear myself. My wife hurt me. As
-
I was growing and in the spirit, I met people
-
throughout the years that we're saying, what am I supposed
-
to do? In Psalm thirty two, verse Numbreeda said I
-
will instruct THEE and teach THEE in the way that
-
thou shalt go.
-
I will guide thee with mine eye.
-
You see, God sees the bigger picture.
-
We do not, and didn't say I will guide thee
-
with my hand.
-
I was praying on that verse this afternoon, and what
-
stood out to me, Brother Nathaniel, was he said, I
-
will guide thee with my eye.
-
My brother Philip, he's got the best ego eye view.
-
I'm ah, I will guide thee with my eye.
-
He knows the way that I take. There's great preaching
-
in there, but I need to pull you in the altar.
-
He knows the way that I take. And that's what
-
Joe demonstrated to us. Sometimes bad things happen to good people,
-
but we just had to ride out the storm. And
-
in twenty second chapter Numbers, we see where a pagan
-
king named Baylick is hoping that a prophet of God
-
will curse the people of God, where brother wrote, Captain
-
God's telling Balem, don't you even try it?
-
Would you come in the king, or brother Jesse, let's
-
stand tonight. I feel the release.
-
Baylick did not like Balem's answer, and he said, go
-
pray about it again.
-
You must curse these people. And then Baylik attempted to
-
buy Bailick Babim.
-
He pressured him, He pushed the right pressure.
-
Points, resulting and pushing the right buttons. What will it
-
take tonight to get you to change your decision? What
-
will it take tonight to get you to change your mind?
-
Because if your wife's finally with the program and you're
-
ready to leave, all that will do is bring on
-
a wilderness experience. And I'll say this, a lot of
-
times with men and women to walk out of the
-
will of God, they lose their partive us. A lot
-
of times when parents decide to walk out in the
-
center of God's will and what so many people call
-
the permissive.
-
Will of God, if there be such a thing, they
-
may make it, but they lose all that their children.
-
I wonder what would have happened to sister Helen.
-
I'd have put our feet down and said, you know what,
-
I'm not gonna accept the fact, and I got to
-
park my boat, sister moving. That seems like a little thing,
-
but so many people sell out for things as little
-
was a fishing opportunity and a.
-
Hunting opportunity or preaching opportunity.
-
There's not a bunch of churches around here, that our
-
Holy Church is righteousness and truth isn't promoted just everywhere
-
down here, so there's not a lot of preaching opportunities.
-
Are you sure there were back where you came from?
-
Are you sure there weren't snares.
-
There and traps that God.
-
Kept you from, kept your children from confusion, turnoil compromise.
-
Are you sure it wasn't part of the plan of
-
God to move you home, to get you up and out,
-
to push you on to the promise.
-
The Bible?
-
Said he?
-
And then he aired when he went back to the
-
Lord to see if he had anything more to say
-
on the situation.
-
God, do you have anything that you'd like to say?
-
Are you kidding me? And are you killing me? Cause
-
it's gonna kill me to see you walk out of
-
the house of God the will of God, to see
-
you discard the plans of God as of the pieces
-
of trash.
-
I figured out a long time ago the sister who
-
was in this for.
-
The long haul. I figured out his sister walker sister,
-
him and his sister how old sister Sheryl, whether Dwayne,
-
and many others reading us for the Long Haul.
-
And then several years later, maybe six seven years later,
-
I realized the rope caps reading this for the.
-
Long haul, Brother Jesse, that child comes back.
-
And repeat it itself and asked the same question over
-
and over again. Brother Kayleb hoped her for a different nature. Pastor,
-
what do you think about me talking to this one?
-
Pastor?
-
What do you think about me dating this one?
-
Pastor?
-
What do you think about me going to this youth camp?
-
What do you think about me?
-
And then after a while it gets agitated to have
-
to entertain such questions, and sometimes maybe even in the
-
flesh and carney.
-
Do you say you know what?
-
This is what you want, this is what you deserve?
-
And sometimes dad mom says they're gonna have to learn
-
the hard way because it's not really hard to do
-
right anyway.
-
And sometimes you'll say go when you should say don't go.
-
It's like the little girl that was raised in an
-
independent Holiness church. She kept coming to her pastor and
-
she said, I go to a pope at school where
-
they have prom.
-
She said, do you think you'd be all.
-
Right for me to go prom?
-
Because one of the football players has asked me.
-
To go prom?
-
And he said, no, absolutely not. You know, there's many
-
scriptures evil.
-
Communications, grew up good manners. The children of Israel begin
-
to inter marry, and he lie loud things like that
-
of the stumba block to Sampson, you remember.
-
This past Sunday Night's message. Give all them biblical examples,
-
give all them scriptures. But Hannah, all she could see
-
was her being on the arm of the.
-
Football player, the star.
-
And so she decided to go one night without the
-
pastor saying yes, you could go, hiring that football star
-
smacked an oak tree.
-
Both of them went into eternity, they said.
-
When they founder her gunet was supposed to be pulled
-
up and modest. She had modified it to reveal flesh
-
like all the other girls. I wonder what you'd do
-
if there was nobody around tonight. Wonder how you'd act.
-
Or wonder where you'd go, or wonder if you could
-
slip on the will of God and you could get
-
a yes?
-
Would you go anyway? If Mom and Dad sets you
-
up and said I'm gonna say yes, just to see
-
just they'll do it?
-
Would you do it?
-
And That's how I've always been. I've been concerned that
-
God would say yes. The Bible said God.
-
Granted those children of visual their requests, concerned and need meet,
-
and he gave.
-
Them twell from heaven to the point they gorged themselves.
-
And if they threw it up out their mistles, he
-
gave them their request, would send them leanness.
-
Unto their souls.
-
The Bible said, I preached to night like a dying man,
-
a dying people, telling you that this subject is one
-
that's out of my control.
-
This is above my grade, this is above my case.
-
Tell I can't do anything but tell you because the
-
decision and the choice is yours.
-
But I will tell you what God spoke to me.
-
And I thought to preaching about five or six not.
-
Of the same family. You need to accept the answer
-
and stop asking the questions.
-
Would you bail your heads right now? I've preached with
-
a burden. I've preached love. Do y'all know that if
-
I started asking questions, can we do this and get
-
by this church? Can we let up on this?
-
Can we do this and get by? It may be
-
a fault spirit.
-
The foul spirit comes to mind, says sure, if you
-
can do that, brother Tyler, I had to accept what
-
was written. If you feel like the Holy Girst spoke
-
to you tonight, would you raise your hand.
-
There's one, two, three, four. Now I want to tell this.
-
As we get ready to close, you prepare yourself to pray.
-
There was this young man in a church and brother Jesse.
-
One day he was working in his father's field. Now,
-
Brother Nathana, he said, well, he was working in his
-
father's field.
-
He said, he saw the word preach end up clouds
-
with a big capital P.
-
And he said, then he looked into the clouds and
-
saw the word Christ in the clouds with a big
-
capital C. But he said, not long after the reach
-
and the hrit was gone, and all I saw was PC.
-
He left his father's business and went to preach Christ.
-
He ended up being a hobo on the street without
-
two pennies to run together.
-
Brother phil I, a wise old preacher, went to him
-
and said, son, did you really pay attention to the
-
message in the clouds?
-
He said, well, my really, I just kind of read
-
it the way I thought it should be read. And
-
what was in my heart?
-
And the preacher said, on that same day, I thought
-
I saw the same thing over the same field, in
-
the same sky.
-
Brother Jacob, He said, what I read, friend, was plant corn.
-
After a while, la n T was gone, and r
-
N was gone as PC and that man brother Nathaniel,
-
because he wanted to do what he wanted to do.
-
He wanted to preach.
-
When God didn't say go preach, he lost the golden.
-
Opportunity to be a successful farmer. I don't know why
-
God has given you specific constructions on what you are
-
to do with one of his plan perfect peace, and.
-
His plan his posterity, prosperity promise, and Brother Ethan, if
-
he tells me tonight to stop preaching Christ.
-
It's unlikely that he will. If he tells me to
-
start planting corn, you know what I want to do.
-
I'm gonna start planting corn because there's a reason for it.
-
I'm not gonna give a general altar call.
-
I'd like for some to say, you know, it's me,
-
just like the Knight that I answered the call and
-
decided I was gonna do what God had commissioned me
-
to do.
-
I came before everybody had wilt down.
-
If you're one of.
-
These people that I've preached to you and out you say,
-
you know what I need to accept the answer, and
-
what I want to caution you ed is this you
-
better accept it at you and get up.
-
And we better never have to preach or broach this
-
topic and gain for you, maybe for somebody else, but
-
you need to accept his answer.
-
Would you come in this alter area right now?
-
There was four of you that used your hand, and
-
there was a sister trying to raise your hand, but
-
you just couldn't do it. For when you come right
-
here and knee a money alter, don't let fear pressure
-
holds you back.
-
Everybody keep your head bow and eyes closed.
-
There was four of you that raised your hand.
-
I want to accept his answer. Are there any sisters tonight?
-
There was one of you started to raise your hand
-
and put it back.
-
Now, is there any sisters? And I see what I
-
need to do. I understand how out to live. I
-
surrender all. I surrender all. So let it be said tonight.
-
A month from now, two months from now, after disciplinary
-
action comes from sister Lauren, Brother Titus won't be a
-
to say she's not my mama.
-
Let it be clearer tonight, we've accepted his answer. In
-
a month from now, a month from now, two months
-
from now, when.
-
Pastor has to use the rod of correction.
-
The word of God, I'm not going to be easily
-
offended or get out of the will of God?
-
Can we find a place for parade right now? Just
-
say God, I accept your answer.
-
I don't know why I brought up the bass boat,
-
but there's been bass boats keep people from doing what
-
God called her the dude.
-
There's been jobs, hunting, opportunities.
-
Work opportunities, and illnesses, pet raises, relationships.
-
I heard a woman one time saying, if a guy
-
that looks like this comes into church, I'll quit God and.
-
Go with him.
-
Do y'all know what happened a guy that looked like
-
that came into church, she quit God and went with him?
-
Or how my heart breaks tonight?
-
Do you really suripulous?
-
I assume everyone here to that has a heart has.
-
Tuned into the voice of the boy. I trusted that
-
everyone is intently listening for what he has said to me.
-
And now that he has spoken, who would dare ask
-
him to say board on any subject or situation?
