Heavenly Hospitality - Bro Jeremy Howell 12-18-2024

Luke, chapter number nine, Verse number fifty eight. Again, is

good to see you in the house of the Lord tonight.

Is so good to be among people of like precious faith,

people that have the same common denominator.

A love for our Lord Jesus Christ, making him the

number one priority of their lives.

Again, Man, direct her attention to Luke chapter number two,

Verses number four through seven, and Brother Nathaniel Luke chapter

number nine, verse number fifty eight, and Brother Jesse Second Christians,

Chapter number six and verse number two. Brother Nathaniel, would

you read that Luke Chapter number nine, verse number fifty eight,

And Jesus said, unto him, foxes have holes and birds

of the air have nests, but the son.

Of Man had not where to lay his head.

How many of you believe that was very disappointing when

the disciples of Jesus heard him speak that I want

to preach a man is the Holy Ghost titled Heavenly Hospitality.

accepted and in the day of salvation, how I suffered THEE.

city of Nazareth into Judea, into the city of David,

Most of the people in this building understand that he

was a well beloved physician. Luke knew the Disciples of

Jesus personally, and he accompanied the Apostle Paul on his

missionary journey and during his last trip to Jerusalem, and

also after Apostle Paul set.

Forth to go to Rome.

Luke was found to be a faithful travel companion. He

would have been most familiar with the burden and stress

of traveling. How many of you are familiar with the

stress and the burden of traveling. There's a lot of

people in this building tonight that do not travel very often,

and because of your lack of familiarity with traveling, you

find to be a very stressful situation. The process of

packing and getting ready for a trip, the preparation is

very bird and some too many people in this building,

while amongst you, there are people that are very familiar

with traveling. Brother Nathaniel and I travel quite frequently. Sister

Howell and I travel quite often, and you could say

that Sister Howell is an expert concerning preparing for a trip.

I have been.

Amazed at times the careful planning that goes into one

of our trips by Sister Howell. She is truly a

wonderful travel companion.

And I'm sure that Apostle Paul.

Knew exactly what he was doing when he allowed to

Apostle Paul was not one to allow somebody to just

whatsoever that he had a good work ethic.

Think about Luke, you think about somebody that understood what

good hospitality would mean. This was a man that had

a medical practice. If he lived today, if you were

to look at the reviews online, he would be a

five star rated position because in the Word of God,

there are no lie and it was recorded in the

Word of God that Luke was of a loved position,

and so he had wonderful bedside manners.

I feel like he was a man that was well

spoken when he spoke to those that would come into

his medical practice.

He was somebody that was very sensitive to their needs.

And one that would follow through.

And I know that that's very important to a lot

of people in this building tonight.

You've heard from sister Starrett.

She was hospitalized recently and she sat over there at

the Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers.

She was treated so well.

What she was saying is everybody was so hospitable, and

everybody was so considerate, and they took such good care

of me, and so Apostle Paul was blessed to have

a man like Luke traveling with him. And I wonder

just how all involved was Luke concerning their lodging and

other arrangements. Brother Nathaniel, I feel like concerning maybe some

of the physical.

Ailments of the Apostle Paul and.

The other fellow laborers, there's no doubt that Luke was

the one that would tend to those needs.

He would be the one that would mend the wounds,

one that would tend.

To the bruises, one that would treat the infection. So

this man, by nature, he would have been a very

hospitable man.

And I believe that he.

Was heaven sent, and I want to preach a message

the Holy Ghost title to heavenly hospitality. I believe the

Lord grace the ministry of the great Apostle Paul with

this beautiful personality, the beloved position Loot. Not only did

he grace the beautiful ministry of the Apostle Paul, but

he graced the sacred written by allowing the Doctor to

write these wonderful treaties that we find in this wonderful

how when I think of your proper planning and preparation,

I find you to be a wonderful travel partner. So

This was a man that put the needs of others

Are you a beautiful personality in your local home church?

And personality within the family of God? I remember one time,

Sister Howling, I set out to go on a trip,

and it was just on a moment's notice of God

had put it in my heart to travel a great distance.

I gave her little time to prepare properly, but within

an hour and a half she had got prepared for

eight people to sit out on a journey, and we

embarked on that journey, not knowing.

Exactly where we were to go. But thank God, we

were appointed.

We had a divide appointment to meet somebody.

And you know what, God honored Sister Howl's obedience.

She did not fight or fuss with me because of

the life I can notice. Not immediately she responded, some

of you aren't getting this.

I said at the beginning of this message, it is

an accepted time, and it was an appointed time. Sister

Hall and I knew right then that God had spoken

to us that we needed to move out and to

go into unfamiliar territory. And we met up with somebody

that was in dire need spiritually.

And I remember as we were.

Traveling, we ran into this situation where we were unable

to find properate lodging. I remember speaking to one hotel

clerk after another. I remember driving from one hotel to

the next and asking this question, do.

You have somewhere for me and my family to.

Stay through the night? Do you have any beds available

for a family of age? And for a period of

about two to three hours, we were.

Told time after time, no, there are.

No vacancies here, and sometimes even though the sign was

flashing no vacancies and desperation.

I would go.

There and rittle the door, then.

Ask the question, do you have a room for me

and my family? You see when went from being happy,

go lucky travelers or to becoming weary travelers. And you

know when you get weary you need some better lay ahead.
