  1. It's certainly good to be in the house of the

  2. Lord tonight. I won't be long tonight if I'll be

  3. one of my shortest messages yet. If you have your Bibles,

  4. Matthew twenty five, brother, good thing you already mentioned this scripture.

  5. I want to give honor to my pastor. I'm very

  6. grateful for the opportunity I considered a great honor. I

  7. don't take it lightly, and I thank the Lord for

  8. the wonderful twenty twenty.

  9. Four year that I had. It was life changing for me.

  10. The beginning of the end of twenty three seemed like

  11. it turned upside down, but then by the beginning of

  12. twenty twenty four.

  13. I believe it was.

  14. March seventh, or somewhere along them lines of twenty twenty

  15. four that I got.

  16. My healing grey May twenty four was a fantastic year

  17. for me. To the twenty twenty five, I know God's

  18. speaking tonight.

  19. If you have your Bibles, Matthew twenty five, will be

  20. reading verse three through six.

  21. The Bible says they that were.

  22. Foolish took their lamps and took no old with them,

  23. but the wires took in their vessels with their.

  24. Lamps while the bridegroom tarried.

  25. They all slumbered and slept, and in midnight there was

  26. a crime.

  27. Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet him for.

  28. A little while.

  29. I'd like to preach on a lamp with no light

  30. you have if you would stretch your hands towards him.

  31. And that's the Lord that help, Lord, helpless heart for soon.

  32. Word, hempless world, Pile.

  33. Ya Jesus God in Jesus' name.

  34. Amen.

  35. This is a very very familiar story. I know most

  36. of us know it, if you don't. Jesus would speak

  37. at times in a parable. He would tell a story,

  38. and that's what this occasion is. In the beginnings that

  39. then the then shall the Kingdom of Heaven be liking

  40. undo ten virgins which took their lamps and went forward

  41. to meet the bridegroom. And we signify those virgins the church.

  42. In church, we signify the bride of Christ and him

  43. the bridegroom. He would tell stories and times and parables

  44. to kind of bring it into a situation, to relate

  45. to something they might have seen or something along those lines.

  46. I won't be long at all tonight. I want to

  47. preach for a little while on the lamp.

  48. When those lights, so, Jesus begins to tell this story

  49. of the virgins.

  50. These ten ten were white, and five were wives.

  51. Five were foolish, it says, But the wives took who

  52. in their vessels with their lamp, while the bridegroom tarried.

  53. They all slumbered and slept.

  54. And then midnight there was the crime. They behold the

  55. bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet him. Then all

  56. those virgins arose and trim their lamps, including the five fools.

  57. They stood up and trimmed their lamps.

  58. They arose.

  59. Sometimes that's how it is in the church. We do

  60. it the way we've always said it. We see folks.

  61. Run, we arrive and we run. Even though we don't.

  62. Have no old We raise our hands, we say a

  63. lamb through the pastor yet we like something. These five versins,

  64. they didn't even have no hold, but they stood up,

  65. and then they looked at the wivens that they told them,

  66. give us of your over. Our lamps have gone out.

  67. They had all at one time. And I want to

  68. preach to someone. Maybe you had it at one time.

  69. Maybe you had more of God than you have now,

  70. and you've seemed to let it slipt.

  71. That's how these versions where they set for our lamps

  72. have gone out.

  73. They knew what it was like to wait and times

  74. hit their lamp have it all.

  75. But they turn and they look to the wife, and

  76. they say, give us of your role in the five

  77. wives say not so lest there not be enough for us.

  78. Then they wouldn't have what they needed. There's churches in

  79. this day and age. They'll depend on certain ones to pray.

  80. During the week, they'll.

  81. Depend on their whole We've heard it our entire life

  82. that dad is prayer won't get you there, Mama's prayer

  83. won't get you there. That's all we gotta have all

  84. for ourselves. We gotta have a prayer closet. I gotta

  85. live in a little one.

  86. I live in a double wife and you, hugy, that's

  87. ever lived in one of those?

  88. You know the wall.

  89. Then I can hear my phone playing inside. And I

  90. made the mind I gotta find me a prayer closet.

  91. But I didn't want my neighbors to think I got

  92. neighbors clothes. I'm yelling at my walk when I'm in

  93. there praying. So you have to take time to find

  94. a place to pray.

  95. I went in the close and I buried my face

  96. in those clothes to kind of mufflet because I got

  97. neighbors just a few feet away.

  98. And a husband.

  99. Your wife's prayers won't get you to heaven if you're

  100. just sitting there in that bed, sitting in the car, whatever,

  101. while they're trying.

  102. To get a hold of God, they're down by the

  103. dead praying. You gotta have over for yourself. These people

  104. knew what it was to have it at a time.

  105. I know we're heading into a new year, and it

  106. says at midnight here soon will be twenty twenty five.

  107. If it was this midnight was the call, would you

  108. be ready? Do you still have what you have when

  109. you first got it? What you got ten years ago,

  110. five years ago, twenty years ago won't get you there.

  111. We have to come to church on the weekly. I

  112. can get a little hold, and I get refilling the spirit.

  113. By the Sunday morning, I'll need it again. It's a

  114. continual thing.

  115. And I know we're one of the other's brook we're

  116. each other's brothren and sister in Christ.

  117. But to an extent this way, isn't every man for himself.

  118. I can't get you there.

  119. I might be the encourage, and some pastor can't get

  120. you there. He reaches for you like I've never seen

  121. a man do.

  122. I told the Lord before him, I love souls. That

  123. man has a burden, sick and to none's ever had.

  124. I've told the Lord, I.

  125. Don't know that I ever want a pastor, because I

  126. see em reach.

  127. For people time and time again times I would have

  128. already got frustrated.

  129. Why because they won't get the offer of themself. And

  130. when you do get it for him, they use it.

  131. All they want to do.

  132. Is sit there and live.

  133. I feel testimony.

  134. All they want to do is sit there.

  135. There no preaching. It takes getting it for yourself. Brother Jesse,

  136. if you come to the funeral, I know I told

  137. you I wouldn't be long to lite if you had

  138. it at a time. Do you still remember what it

  139. was like.

  140. When it didn't take long for the spirit of God

  141. to fall in your prayer closet, when it didn't take long.

  142. For you to pray before church started, and you to feel.

  143. The fire of God.

  144. Because you have the old that's old red hour, is

  145. it completely empty? I don't ever want to be a

  146. lamb that has no old. There's too many churches. They

  147. got the form of God, but they deny the power

  148. of There's nothing but a.

  149. Lamb read no light, they have no fire of God.

  150. All they do is depend on other people's prayer. I

  151. don't want it, ever, it says in verse thirteen. Watch therefore,

  152. for you know neither the day nor the hour. Wherein

  153. the sunner man coming.

  154. I can't tell you it'll be at midnight, but we can't.

  155. Say it ain't gonna be a midnight. I want to ask,

  156. if it was this midnight, wouldn't you be ready to

  157. meet the maker?

  158. If he said this night, your soul would be accounted for.

  159. Your soul would be required of you.

  160. Go past or.

  161. Soul on your behalf, your soul, your prayer life. I

  162. begin another year.

  163. I'm looking.

  164. I was gonna start a new Bible reading program, and

  165. I was finding me a new one on my Bible

  166. app because sometimes I'll need to reading and then I'll

  167. just jump somewhere else, and I wanted to stick to him.

  168. It said get back to y'all. That was the title

  169. of one of them, and I looked at it. It

  170. was a three year Bible reading program.

  171. Five minutes a day. That ain't gonna get you know,

  172. it only takes fifteen minutes a day to read your

  173. Bible through once that year, three or four times forty

  174. five minutes.

  175. It takes work to have.

  176. When you see the pastor preaks the way he does,

  177. it takes work. It ain't an easy religion. We never

  178. promise that it be easy.

  179. It takes work, and I want to work for it.

  180. I don't want to ever find myself realize.

  181. That I don't have what I have a year ago.

  182. If you're that way, it don't take no time to repent.

  183. There's no feeling. I remember when I lay on my

  184. bed knowing that I wasn't ready, and knowing should he

  185. come this night, I wouldn't be ready. There's no greater

  186. feeling in this world.

  187. And right now look good to heaven anew if I die,

  188. then that I'm going to heaven.

  189. That's a feeling.

  190. A go all ALFs an it the rock, go split

  191. the side. No, I'm ready. If you weren't coming to

  192. the actors, make sure your lamp has a lot that

  193. others may see. It's super time religion. I had to

  194. get it for myself. He's soul time religion. Had to

  195. get it for myself.

  196. Where the preachers talk about it, how it really you are,

  197. had you get it, had to get it for my

  205. So time we're had to give it for myself.

  206. It's so timing it.

  207. I heard the preacher talking about it, how it already worked.

  208. Hand you give it, give it for my seal, where

  209. the all time religion hand it for myself. He's sure

  210. time religion.

  222. I've seen y'all stand of the here.

  223. In so many different ways, but the end of hurting
