You plan on being on that load. You plan on

be it on that gospel ship. Amen. I'm looking forward

to going to heaven. I appreciate the Lord.

I appreciate the spirit of the Lord that we feel

in here tonight on Wednesday night, don't you.

Amen. I'm glad to be in God's house. I'm glad

to be in church with my brothers and my sisters. Amen.

Sure is good to.

Be in God's house. Let's look quickly. Look at the

Book of Mark with me, chapter number eight. Grab your

bible if you got one nearby. I want you to

look at this, mark the eighth mark, the eighth chapter.

I want to read something right here. Look at verse

number thirty three. But when he had turned about and

looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, who rebuked Peter.

Jesus rebuke Peter.

Saying, get thee behind me, Satan, for thou saviorant not

the things that be of God, but the things that

be of men.

Peter had just rebuked Jesus. Peter had just got all

stirred up because Jesus told him that he was gonna die.

Jesus had just told.

Peter in the disciples that his time was coming, that

he would be rejected and that he would be killed,

and then he told.

Him that he would rise.

Well, Peter decides to rebuke Jesus and he says, not

so it's not gonna happen.

What did Jesus do? He turned and says, he said,

right there to him, get thee.

Behind me, Satan, for thou savorest not the things that.

Be of God. God. Peter fails to see God's plan.

Peter failed to.

See the plan of salvation that Jesus so often had

talked about to them. Jesus had told them many times

why he had come to the world. They had read

the scripture, and they knew why Jesus was there. They

knew why the miracle worker.

Was walking the streets.

But when Jesus tells Peter and he tells the disciples

that I'm gonna die, what does Peter do?

He said, and you.

Can't do that.

Jesus tells him the root of the problem, Peter, the

reason you feel that way is because you don't savor

the things of God, but rather you savor.

The things of the world. Peter almost fell to the

same fate of Judas Ascaria. Peter was that close.

Peter was this close to falling to the same thing

that Judas felled for.

Jesus.

Didn't want Jesus to set up a heavenly kingdom.

He wanted him to set up a kingdom in the world.

He wanted him to set up his palace, and he

wanted him to set up a rulership and rule over

the people. He was looking at the same thing, but Pete.

But Peter was rebuked by Jesus and he had a

change of heart.

Amen.

Jesus told Peter, you're too focused on the things of

this world. You're too focused on the.

Things that are happening every day, and you're learning.

The things that really matter slip by.

You're too focused on what's happening right now in my life,

and you're too focused on what can I do today

to better myself Tomorrow. I thought I was coming. You're

too focused on what's going on right now to worry

about what's going to happen in a thousand years. You're

too focused on.

What's happening in your life. Peter was too focused on

the now. Peter was too focused on that day and

the things of this world to focus on heavenly things.

Jesus said when he was rebuking Satan.

When he was sitting he said, man, don't live by

bread alone, but by every word which proceedeth out of

the mouth of God.

What was Jesus telling him? We don't live by what's

in this world.

We don't live by the bread of this life. There's

times in our lives that we realize that we're letting

this world get too much of a grip on us.

In my whole life, I've realized at times I'm too

focused on the now, and I'm too focused on today,

and I'm letting.

The other things go by. I'm letting my daily Bible reading,

clam go to.

Pot, my prayer life just right away because I'm too

focused on today. We don't live by bread alone. We

don't live by the things of this world. But I

mean we live by the word of God. We live

by the plan of God. Jesus wasn't being hard to Peter.

Ask Peter now if Jesus was being hard. Ask him

today if Jesus was being hard to him. Whenever he said,

you're not your focus is not right.

Jesus wasn't being hard to Peter. He was loving Peter.

He was loving.

Peter Worst number thirty four says that when he called

the people unto him with his disciples, also he said,

up to him whose leather will come after me, let

him deny himself and take up his.

Cross and follow me. We must deny ourselves, and we

must deny.

Our plans, especially we may interfere with God's plans. I

believe in having goals. I believe in laying up for tomorrow.

I believe in doing what I can to take care

of my family for tomorrow. I'm not bragging, but I

have three retirement plans.

I have three separate.

Retirement plans that are growing at the same rate. But

what's more important my retirement.

Or the things of God? What matters for me saving

up for tomorrow or me saving up for a part

of him? Peter need an adjustment.

I know a young lady, and I don't know where

she's at right now, but I can take you to her.

I can tell you her name. Whatever the Man of.

God prophesied and said, if you're not careful, you lose

everything that God's giving you.

She adn't believe it. Right Where's she at now? She

can't afford rent.

She has a good job, but somehow she has no money.

Where is it going? Ask Ju, thats what it happened.

What happens whenever you save or not the things of God,

but you savor the things of this world instead. Peter's

probably prayed for a years. Thank you God for realigning

my vision.

I told you.

There's good times that my vision has needn realigned.

And that's where you're at tonight. That's where you're at.

You're in that place tonight where you need an adjustine

and you.

Know you then I knew it. I was in that place.

Who can make that change?

You?

And God the creature can preach too. He's blue in

the face. But until we choose, they say, God, you're right.

I realize that I'm lost, and then I've backed up

and that.

I want not where I used to be, and I

want to get back to that place.

I love the Lord. I thank the Lord for his

goodness and his mercy. I thank you for his correction.

I thank you for my pastor, and I thank you

for how many times? What is man that thou art

mindful of him? What are we that are big on?

an actvisary on our trail.

A man that had ran from his own son, really

a man that had ran first from Saul and hid

tried a man to live on the run.

And then it was a man that knew.

One thing, and it was this if he was gonna

the grace of God. God can make you dwell in safety.

And then God can redibute the devour in all.

And then over in South chapter number one, twenty seven,

God kept me right there in saws. And then we're

all familiar with this. Except the Lord build the house.

They labor in vain, that build it. Except the Lord

keep the city, the watchman. But in vain it is

vain for you to rise up, urry, Amen, to sit

up lake, to eat the bread of sorrows, for so

he given because my love and sleep.

And then I'm not depending on what I can do

for myself tonight.

And then because I've already learned in myself, Amen, I

can never prepare enough, and mean, I can never adequately

be ready enough. And then for the way the adversary

that's been at this and then probably some four thousand years,

I don't know, Amen, hear him on earth. You can

make a guess as good as mine, but I'd say

it somewhere and then maybe even a little past that

he's gonna be good at this job. And when it's

some one of us dedicated the.

Next four thousand years, we have that ability to develop

our talents to the story folks, and develop oar cutting amen,

to gut people to the pelop art cunning, to the

short people, find the end to force something.

Thousand years and then we would be on the rival.

If you're struggling and sleeping at nighte amen, and you're struggling, Amen,

were falling asleep and you're awaking.

All hours of the night.

They've been trying to figure out how.

And then you can do it, and you can do

it on your own.

And you're seeing things fall apart before your eyes, and

they man, you're seeing.

Things getting to crumble.

You seeing the gay man's fast fractures in the structure.

Even now, it'd be the time to awake him.

A man, lets you sleep the sleep up there, because

he that sleepeth without the Lord on his side, Amen,

sleeper and folly, he had fallen asleep.

Without the Lord.

Can't we with hell?

At night, I mean I'm out like alive.

he was troubling to follow a man having trouble falling asleep,

to read his Bible. And then so one night he

got and been in a situation they may where he

was struggling to fall asleep. He said, let me give

this a try. A man and went and sat down

and opened up his Bible to try to fall asleep.

And that he said, Amen, the next thing he know,

the rooster was crowing. And man, he said, sweet Love

of God, that don't work.

Amen. He got to reading the Bible and enjoy it.

Who didn't put him to sleep? Amen?

It kept him awake.

Amen.

I thank good God for a good God of God

and man that I'm deserving all Amen, this watching over me.

I enjoying my walk with God.

I enjoy reading his word.

I enjoyed talking with him.

There's not something I have to do, Amen, but it's
