Me to Philippians.
-
Philippians, everybody say that with me, Philippians, Philippians, Yes, Philippio.
-
Opened that Bible right now and turn to the Book
-
of Philippians.
-
Okay, Philippians, May I direct your attention to the first
-
chapter in the sixth verse, Brother Jesse Acts chapter number
-
twenty and verse number twenty four. Brother Nathaniel, Second Timothy,
-
Chapter number four and verse number seven. Again, Brother Jesse
-
Acts Chapter number twenty, verse number twenty four, and Brother
-
Nathaniel Second Timothy, chapter number four and verse number seven.
-
Would you read Sacred Timothy four and seven, Brother Nathaniel,
-
I have fought a good fight.
-
I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.
-
Praise the Lord. Wonderful words from the Apostle Paul to
-
the young Bishop Timothy.
-
Brother Jesse acts Chapter number twenty and verse number twenty four.
-
But none of these things move me, neither count I
-
my life dear to myself, so that I might finish
-
my course with joy and the ministry which I have
-
received the Lord Jesus to testify the Gospel of the
-
grace of God.
-
Let's pull out.
-
That part of that verse that makes the statement finish
-
my course. Let's stand for the reading of our golden
-
text and reverence to the Word of God Philippians, chapter
-
number one and verse number six. And also don't want
-
to say it is so good to have the Giddins
-
family back, so good.
-
To have the Giddess family packers.
-
So many of you now it's easy to overlook it,
-
and we misput a sam on his family. May God
-
give them traveling mersesus my understanding, they will walk in
-
tonight at some point when they do that which y'all remember,
-
I'm preaching, Mono. I love y'all this kid, that the
-
beautiful family will be walking in Philippians, chapter number one
-
and verse number six. Being confident of this very thing,
-
that He which hath begun a good work in you
-
will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Would
-
y'all pray with me, Heavenly Father, We thank you so
-
much for how we have feasted a spiritual manner from
-
the mouths of these brothers and sisters of Christ.
-
And I no doubt my soul has been fed. And
-
as that well fed fatted cat with the stall I
-
have been thought, I will admit that, Lord, I'm not
-
ashamed to admit that I have been greatly blessed.
-
As your people have spoke what thus said the word
-
of God, and as they have sayn the lyrics of
-
these gospel songs that have blessed us through the ages,
-
my soul has been blessed. Pray that you would anoint
-
this thy service and a guard at my mouth, and
-
help me to say those things you would have me
-
to say nothing more less, and anoint the ears of
-
this thy people, and they might hear with the spirit
-
of God.
-
Says it to this church tonight, Lord, may we receive
-
this word joyfully.
-
They will not depart this place sorrowfully in Jesus' name.
-
And the church said, Amen, as you're being seated, look
-
at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, he's faithful to
-
finish his work. How many of you know God always
-
finishes what he starts. Our text is founded a New
-
Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of Philippians.
-
The reason this book is titled the Book of Philippians
-
is because this particular Pauline epistle was addressed to people
-
that lived in the land of Philippi. The author of
-
this book of the Bible is the Beloved Great Apostle Paul.
-
The Bible readers and students present tonight should recall a
-
vision that the Apostle Paul had while he was in
-
another city. Again, I want to point that out, that
-
you should recall that Apostle Paul had a vision, a vision.
-
At some point he was resting. I don't know whether
-
or not his eyes were closed. I'm unsure of that detail,
-
but at some point he received a heavenly vision, and
-
no doubt within that vision there was a heaven sent visitor.
-
And so we recall the vision that the Apostle Paul
-
had while he was in another city.
-
So he was not in the land of Philippine at
-
that time.
-
And while he was in this other land, and I
-
do know the name of the other city that he
-
was in at that time. While he was there, in
-
that vision, he saw a man of Macedonia requesting Paul
-
to come and help them spiritually. How many of you
-
would recognize a Chinese man if you had a vision
-
of a Chinaman speaking to you, a lot of you
-
would How many of you would recognize a Russian man
-
if you had a vision of that man speaking to you,
-
A whole lot less of you would be able to
-
decern a difference between that Russian man and an American man.
-
While almost every one of you had said that you
-
would be able to immediately recognize that that particular man
-
from China was a Chinaman as he spoke to you
-
in that vision. And so Paul was able to understand
-
that this man was from Macedonia because in this vision,
-
Paul received clarity regarding where this man was speaking from.
-
And this vision was a request for the man of
-
God to come to that particular area and help them spiritually.
-
How many of you feel like you could go at
-
this alone, not very many of you.
-
You understand that the Bible said that God gave us apostles,
-
He gave us evangelist, he gave us pastors, he gave
-
us teachers, gifts sent down from above, from the very
-
portals of Glory. They descended from the very hand of
-
God into this earth for us. So we are a
-
gifted people. How many of you appreciate the gift that
-
God has given you?
-
And so these people were gifted the great.
-
Apostle Paul to come help them spiritually. They needed somebody
-
to guide them, They needed somebody to lead them. And
-
at some point Paul and his travel companions featured into
-
that area, and they found in the way, they found
-
this little region of Philippi.
-
And according to the New Testament.
-
Writings, Paul spent a considerable amount of time in that area,
-
establishing a great.
-
Spiritual work there for fellow believers.
-
He was not trying to establish a McDonald's or Cafsy
-
or Taco Bell franchised. He was trying to establish a church,
-
a place where people were gathered together. And when he left,
-
he would not fly on a plata insignia of any denomination,
-
and he would not plaster on the marquee any sign
-
that would signify we belonged to a certain segment, a
-
fracture of man's design. But he left that particular region
-
at some point, and he left behind people that were
-
people of God.
-
And we found that this man, apostle Paul, was one
-
that was.
-
Willing to go into the highways and into the hedges
-
in order to pluck out those people.
-
That should be saved.
-
The Bible said that God added unto the church daily
-
such as should be.
-
Saved, right, and some of those people that should.
-
Be saved were these people that lived in Philippi. They
-
became our brothers and sisters in Christ.
-
PAULA. I'm telling you it took more than a.
-
Weeknd for the great Apostle Paul to establish this work
-
in Philippi.
-
Sister how well mentioned to not how it has been
-
worth it concerning establishing.
-
An independent Pentecostal holiness work in this part of Florida.
-
And I feel like Apostle Paul, at the end.
-
Of the day could have said that it was worth
-
it for me to establish an independent Pentecostal work in
-
that particular region, the area of Macedonia. Truly, the vision
-
of the Macedonian.
-
Carle Paul and.
-
Has been a sterial and evangelistic teen to Philippie.
-
This vision of.
-
A man beseeching them to come to them, Let them.
-
Not to a man again, this vision that.
-
They received of a Macedonian man beseeching or requesting them
-
to come under them.
-
Let them not to a man, but to a prosperous
-
business woman.
-
The Bible students, Bible teachers and college here, deny you
-
know about lydy ADULTSA.
-
She is that very successful business lady. She's the seller
-
of purple. The Bible said the word of a sell
-
Royal guard at some point this gentile woman.
-
Had been converted from paganism unto Judaism, and she realized
-
her that.
-
Must be something more.
-
As she studied the writings of the propert in the synagogue,
-
she got hungry for the real message.
-
And she was one that was looking for the Messiah.
-
And as these apostles begin to scatter throughout the earth
-
because of severe persecution, they would stumble across them, these
-
people that.
-
Were seekers of truth. And at some point.
-
Apostle Paula looking for a place together to church and
-
looking for the purpose of his ministry in alarm at Philippow,
-
he goes down there to the river, a trip was
-
much similar to the Closatche.
-
It's literally at.
-
The end of the road here.
-
And as he walks by with his travel companions, he sees.
-
A group of a precious women. They're not fishing for catfishing, they're.
-
Not casting Alana or a Netta in the water, but
-
they heard casting that they're.
-
Bearing upon the water, believe and.
-
That it has returned to them. Well, I feel like
-
these women. They begin to embrace the idea of Jesus
-
Christ and beating the Messiah.
-
And as they're praying on their knee, not fishing there.
-
As they're praying, they're having prayer meeting.
-
Well, they're not in the building up.
-
It's got a flag in the front yard. They're not
-
in the building that's got a side of a marquis
-
in the front yard. Here comes the one and only,
-
the greatest promoter of Christianity.
-
You the prayers that tell of it to you women.
-
I want to tell some of our women here tonight.
-
Sometimes we feel the life because our husband has left us.
-
Who he's dyed and gone home, and we have been
-
forgotten and forsaken. And well, yes we.
-
Battle that at times after the death or the abandonment of.
-
Some and it was so here to us and these
-
women they begin to pray.
-
And the only one that could have come, and the
-
only one that could have helped her, he came. And
-
almost somebody in this building. The news God taught you
-
was pricious.
-
That first time you prayed. The first time is steering
-
of God through you in the house of God, that
-
first encounter that you had, whether.
-
You were a little girl in the altar or not,
-
they're a grown woman to the altar.
-
They're on your child. Whatever that firston counter was. I
-
know some timer has called on now you progress.
-
Yes, Leniah could say, I'm not opinion anymore.
-
I don't agree to get along with that. I can't
-
get along that in opinion.
-
That there's kind of me, something more than you. That
-
is that she embraced her Christianity.
-
I said, she grabbed.
-
Christianity Bible, poor luck, and said you will not release.
-
She fell in love with Christianity, meaning she fell in
-
love for Christ because Christianity.
-
Is more than a religion.
-
It is a relationship between the bridegroom and the bride.
-
Come on now and this woman Lydia.
-
There's nothing sin about men being in their lives.
-
There's nothing at all sin about men desiring to build
-
a church. But there's something beginning in the heart of
-
the seller of purple.
-
This tells me whether.
-
You're a princess or a pauper, whether you're selling tattered ranso.
-
Or all good. God is my clock of you. A
-
lot of people have thrown the alst celebrities out with
-
in this water, and they have forgot.
-
That God loves the wall as much as he loves
-
the whole.
-
Hole the street. You see what a lot of.
-
People were thinking of nick God mis thinking of never caniser.
-
When a lot of people were thinking of Sidus God
-
mistaking of solemn toss, I say, I tell us.
-
Somebody it what surprised me at all?
-
If somebody think of heard it's some famous celebrity, there's some.
-
Proper They come to an experience. It is the beginning
-
of an.
-
Experience, their relationship with Jesus. You see, Radio no doubt
-
was blessed tremendously financially because of another writing the apostle
-
Paul chastised of the churches newly found, newly organized, newly
-
structured churches he tasked him, chastised him because of their
-
lack of supporting ministry.
-
But he gave this particular body of Christ a commendation, and.
-
He spoke very finally of how they supported him financially. Now,
-
those of you that know mother, how I'm not one
-
of these preachers trying to slip that in.
-
There to get you to give me your money. I
-
don't want your money, Oh come on, but I want
-
you to know.
-
God knew that this prosperous businesswoman Lidia.
-
Was down there to the river bank praying. And you know,
-
much just as mi reckless as that to seek God
-
want to help a woman took her life.
-
To fruition to seek God, want to help some woman
-
get to fulfillment. The man that's standing there, the apostle
-
Paula himself, is not yet.
-
To a finished worker. He's a worker in progress. That
-
they all know who is the author. And because of
-
my God and all began, they have profidenswer.
-
Then he want just as crazy as it began.
-
I tell us somebody to night, don't nothing get a
-
lie of you. It worked in it, so that's good
-
up because it started. My wife asked the question. Just
-
before I walked out of that office. She text me.
-
She said, how you feeling? I said, very weak? How
-
you feeling very sick? I'm just like my sheep, but
-
I must feed them. You look around here tonight, you
-
can tell there's a lot of sick people. Harmongous brother
-
Samuel messages me today. I believe it was around four o'clock.
-
He said, my kids are evidently for the girls, he said,
-
they have not adjusted at all to the weather. He said,
-
Mary's face, it is completely wrong. Her lips are smollen,
-
they're cracked the us. He said, they just were.
-
Not prepared for this freaching weather.
-
He said I've got to get them home. I've got
-
to cut this vacation short and get them home. What
-
mother Samuel was saying, We're not gonna finish out her vacation.
-
He might be disappointing his wife. I doubt it her.
-
She told me there too ago she was ready to
-
head south to wander Weather and to come home. I
-
don't know for them, it's disappointed or not. I don't
-
think so. On day two or three, he said, this
-
Florida boy has had.
-
Enough of it now, Brother Samuel and his precious family.
-
He lord re brother. Before they set out to go
-
on a vacation from Friday to Friday.
-
You know what, they finish a little early? I said,
-
do they finish her a little early? Some people were
-
saying that they didn't get to finish, And they said
-
the same thing about people like Jesus who's lost.
-
With cut short. They said, did he get to finish
-
his life? He said so, I said, who said so?
-
They said, it is cut down?
-
It is prime.
-
Well, turty three and a half years, so he was
-
cut down there.
-
Judy would say he did knock finish because Jesus said
-
that thirty.
-
Three and a half years, and.
-
That he when you're true was lost balt and that's hold.
-
He said, it is madness time. I said, he it
-
is Penis.
-
Talk to Tennis, say what he's doing in your life?
-
Just their time. When I'm bottle of cancer, that's okay.
-
He could finishes just the hot one. When I bottle
-
a seat, say RPD, that's okay. He contentish it. Lydia,
-
remember what cut in your heart when you felt my.
-
Worship and idols. It's not obayed the one you thought
-
my visitor to the City.
-
Of God man, Lydia, remember the again. Now you feeling
-
right now?
-
Pastor great? How we're gonna feel in heaven?
-
Great?
-
Not only what's the prosperous business woman?
-
Lydia gloriously miraculously convert them from two Dayism to Christianity.
-
Not only does sheephaw in love with Jesus.
-
But you will remember that Paul and Silace had got
-
imprisoned when they had obeyed this heavenly vision, this Macedonian
-
man calling them to a bunch of women, right, come on, and.
-
They end up in prison.
-
How could that be the will of God? The two
-
great men of God be treated worse than criminals, be.
-
Side in the solitary confinement. Put in the intermost part
-
the prius, and be treated worser than the murderer. Be
-
treating worsa than the ruthlesser. You know what to the world, tamper.
-
I feel like Paul looked to.
-
Silence after the trade. They said, listen, he's still working
-
on me. Hain't come on round you two tall children.
-
That's song, we say her.
-
It took him just a rooka to make the moon
-
and the stars of the sun, the anser and.
-
Dreaming their mars. How many of you know, I'm sure
-
Paul said a solace. God ain't tennis yet, I said he,
-
God ain't phenis yea? I go out again? Then I
-
have an idea in a in our time.
-
How many homeschool the mothers do we're having this building tonight,
-
A bunch of them.
-
How many school teachers do we're having this building tonight?
-
A few of you? You know, as teachers and homeschool brother,
-
you give your children or your students or your pupils
-
appointments and assignments. You say, you have an appointment to
-
be here on such and such days of the week,
-
at such and such hours of the week.
-
I've got some employees.
-
I tell them when to be there, and I tell
-
them what days they'll be working and when they'll leave.
-
And we also go over our assignments. Don't with teachers,
-
don't we, Boss min You know what I'm talking about, boss.
-
Man, on a daily on the basis you go over
-
it better Road Camp won't with you and your homeschool
-
wife do with their kids, or you with your employees.
-
In fact, about two or three hours they came over
-
there and said, what else do you want me to do?
-
Better Road Camp would say, did your finish your assignments?
-
Is your finish doing what I told you to do?
-
For some of you that are fear of sickness, of.
-
Umilitating, yet us up and goes ease your weaknesses that
-
you battle.
-
I want you to know God's not gonna let you
-
tell of shay it now. God's not gonna let you
-
turn it up. God's gonna let you tenis I send
-
you apostle. Paul said, I have fault. What good saying
-
is a protect by this? It was a took God.
-
He said, I have tennis because.
-
With God, Jesus Christ particularly again creating dear in creation.
-
How many of you know we believe in creationism. We
-
sure do.
-
When Jesus Christ began creating, on day one, he finished
-
his assignment.
-
On day two, he.
-
Finished his assignment, and it goes.
-
Right on now let you. On day seven he took
-
the rest with every day after his.
-
Labor, he said, it is good since the one something
-
that came to me in prayer was I'm yet to
-
see a undolence will doing circles in the ocean. I'm
-
yet to see of one legged donkey where God didn't tenishing.
-
I'm yet to see a river losing its course. I'm
-
yet to see Come.
-
On, I'm telling you a one way tree, I said.
-
I'm yet to see a tree will out lose. I'm
-
yet to see a car without a staughter. I'm telling
-
you God, he will finish.
-
Said what saver? He said, here do he will do it.
-
The man that said you ought to rejoice more over
-
the event, for the day of one's birth their death,
-
more than.
-
The day of their birth, what to say is you
-
ought to rejoice.
-
For at the ending than the beginning. It that's exactly right.
-
How many times have you seen people line up for
-
the race. You'll get to the imagery as Apostle Paul.
-
He stood over there and observed the Romans who loved
-
to run, and he noticed these guys like.
-
To run, and some of them may finishing the race.
-
Some of them may.
-
Crossing the finish line. Everybody's crossing the starting line. The
-
very few teeth's crossing it the finished line.
-
You know what, Apostle Paul was saying.
-
Some of you might the eternal slow, and some of
-
you might the rabbit faster. But at the end of
-
the day, in the Grand Stanza, there there's a great
-
cloud of our witnesses. A people that pass, I said.
-
Some finished time with their cheer in the air and
-
their chest out, and they hip to the U. You
-
tell everybody else. The others got through with a stein
-
of their teeth. Others got through on the palm of
-
the head. The old me, he called the Christing. I'm
-
telling you God us we will help you Ferash.
-
As sure as I'm gonna finish that bowl of chili
-
here in a minute, sir, you ain't gonna see one
-
drivel on the edge of my ball.
-
You ain't gonna see one drop in the bottom.
-
I'm gonna tell you, God love Nebby as much as
-
he loved Nikki. God love never connessur as much as
-
he loved little nick has running around throughout the Babylonian Empire.
-
Oh my Jesus, I'm telling somebody I believe in spiritual growth.
-
Here at the Beath the Holdness Church, we are committed
-
to spiritual growth, maturity, and development and during the days
-
of creation God was committed to finish. Here at the
-
Bethel Hole Inness Church, we are committed to following peace
-
with all men and holiness, without which no.
-
Man shall see the Lord. Do you know why there
-
won't been a God said? It's holiness or hell.
-
The word sanctification, it's separation, it's synonymous with holiness. What
-
they were saying is, if you've got the spirit of
-
the world, if you love the world, if you.
-
Wther be in the world.
-
Demons, you can got cut Upennis, I said, if you'd
-
rather be in the world demons, you're.
-
Not cut up.
-
Pennis, you better throw your heart across the Pennis, Lilah, Paulaaah.
-
If it happens that we reach spiritual maturity, it won't
-
be because.
-
Of anything we've done.
-
I will never be good enough, I will never live
-
good enough. I will never praise him good enough. I
-
will never pray good enough. I will never preach good enough.
-
I said, God, please annoy me and please help me
-
to preach to these eighty people have to Bethel Holiness
-
Church because they want to be fed.
-
That's why they come here. They want to be fed.
-
And that's what Jesus told Peter when he was tempting
-
to go back to fisherman's life, something he was more
-
comfortable doing, something he was more familiar with. Jesus looked
-
at him through eyes of brokenness, and he said, will
-
you just feed my sheep, Peter.
-
I'll take care of you.
-
I'll take care of your family. I'll take care of
-
the rest of it. If you'll start, it will tell
-
us at if spiritual maturity happens, it will be because
-
of his sacrifice, not only ours, and it will be
-
solely because of Him and his goodness.
-
And his grace.
-
Apostle Paul had confidence in the members of the church
-
at Philippi, these Philippians, he had confidence in them. Let's
-
go back to Paul and Silas being in. After that,
-
there was an earthquake that shook the jail until.
-
There was a jail break. You'll know the story was
-
his name, Jason the jailor.
-
When there's something like that. Anyway, he went to the
-
Philippian jailer and he said, don't do yourself any harm.
-
There's not gonna be any of us. Leave you responsible
-
for this escape. We will report him, and we will
-
sign our own names on the roll call book. And
-
because of this, sir, Paul got to go home with
-
the jailor. How many of you know that's a true story.
-
It's in the Bible.
-
He walks right out of solitary confinement. It walks right
-
into the jailor's house. And you know what happened in
-
the taylor's house, the jailor and his tire family.
-
God said, I'm.
-
Telling you there's a church being bilt here. The Macedonian
-
call is coming to fruition.
-
That man did not really come up, sir, because come
-
help us for no reason.
-
I want you to know your labor's not invaded. Dad
-
and Mama, you pucked up your roots.
-
He went on away. So and you tell him the startable.
-
I want you to know the.
-
Tennessee who will be better than the start Yes, there's
-
a lot of rooting, Yes, there's a lot of cheering
-
when you start the race, then I have to ar
-
h a racer. There's always amusin.
-
See your cheer, my sid there's a mouse sincere cheer her.
-
Look at the end of the roadies.
-
In fact, Paul did not tell the Philippian jailer that
-
he would be good enough to save himself.
-
Y'all heard brother Roder Butler say tonight. He said you
-
can't save him.
-
Paul did not tell the Philippian jailor be on your
-
best behavior and you will be He did not.
-
Tell the Philippian jail don't beat any more men or
-
God that man shouldn't do that.
-
But he didn't try to tell him what to do
-
to be saved.
-
He said, believe on the Lord Jesus, and.
-
You shall be saved.
-
Listen what Jesus began. He will finish. What Jesus began,
-
he will finish. I gotta get you out there to
-
get bowls at Chilly. I'm not one just to say
-
something just to be heard. If I'm saying something, it's
-
not as one.
-
That beats the air.
-
I promise there's a reason for why I say something.
-
If you're around me after church or before church, I'm
-
a man of very few words.
-
I am a listener, not a talker.
-
Everybody that knows Brother Howell knows I'd rather hear you
-
talk than myself talk. The Apostle Paul sister, which somehow
-
he perceived, I've got a role to play in the
-
establishment of this church in Philippie, and there's a lot
-
of you. You're here right now because you have a
-
role to play. We am not yet figured out the
-
placement of every person in this work, but I guarantee
-
you this, Once you get placed there, you gonna go
-
to Duncan Dona and buy the drink of your choice
-
and come back and say, I know now why I'm
-
telling you later on in life, Sister Howe and Iron
-
figuring out it was worth and shitting now when I
-
don't pretold you tonight and I'm.
-
Telling you you her and Apostle Paul saw.
-
That ministerious support coming in up for church mother Lydia.
-
He knew I made a right dec he said, you
-
don't man of God. When he saw them souls responding
-
to the preacher and that Church of Philippi, he knew
-
by the tyler, he knew Brother won't cap He knew,
-
Brother Jesse, I must do my part to seek God's
-
will for this people fulfilled in their lifetime. In their lifetime,
-
Brother Jeremiah, some of them have been asking for last
-
Wednesday Night's message. I talked about seeing the goodness of
-
God and the land of the living in their lifetime,
-
and I want to put forth this right here, right now.
-
You can see some good things in your lifetime. After
-
looking back on his ministry, the Apostle Paul felt like
-
he needed to let the young Bishop Timothy know that
-
Sacred Timothy chapter number four and verse number seven, something
-
that I feel like you thought like was nibbling at.
-
The mine or the brainstem of Timothy. And he knew
-
if he got a hold of Timothy, he would.
-
Not finish his race again nibbling at the frame stem
-
of the young Bishop Timothy, which minute would paralyze the church,
-
paralzed the ministry, and paralyzed the experiences of Timothy.
-
It's the same man that told the same young man,
-
you stir up the depth that is within you. The
-
same general telling the young general, I have fought a
-
good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept
-
the faith you turned.
-
It said, when the sunner man.
-
Comes, shall he find faith? He didn't ask will he
-
find hope? He didn't ask when he find love? Except
-
pool he fop faith. Paul had an.
-
Assurance that he had completed his assignment at this point.
-
There's some of you.
-
You're just get started. There's some of you in this building.
-
You know as good as I do, you're close.
-
To finishing your assignment.
-
In fact, when you go to look at your book,
-
you realize there's a whole lot more.
-
Pages to the left than there are to the right.
-
When you look on the boat of life, you see
-
a whole lot more bridges behind you than knows that
-
you were yet to go under. Paul knew I'm about
-
done for everywhere I go, He would thank Brother Jacob.
-
The spirit of God has prophesied through Agabus and other
-
men of God and have certain places that great harm
-
is coming my way.
-
I want you to know that Paul knew I would
-
go to Rome.
-
He would think.
-
Paul understood as the how that there would be great persecution,
-
that possibly including his death. At wrong, Paul found great
-
strength and and encouragement under.
-
The executioner of Nero.
-
As the executioner began to bring that sword down upon
-
his neck.
-
There is no doubt.
-
Apostle Paul realized, I have reached the finished line.
-
Now come on, I'm calling you.
-
Brother Walder, but no, Brother Jesse. Howell encouraged our spirits
-
to not talking about our sweet home name Heaven. There's
-
somebody you fear in death. Every time you feel a
-
little issue in your body, you're worried about dying. What
-
in the world are you worried about, pat Paul to
-
be absent in the body's to be present with the Lord.
-
I'm telling you what's wrong. We're crossing the feedish line.
-
Paul had an assurance that he had completed his assignments
-
through the power of God. He had completed the assignments
-
concerning his own life and concerning helping others. Remember at
-
the Saul of Tarsi's conversion, at the time of his
-
name change, Paul had a work to do immediately at
-
the time of his conversion, when a spiritual metamorphosis took place,
-
and he became a new creature, when the murderer became
-
the messenger, when the persecutor became the promoter.
-
When Saul became Paul.
-
There was a work for him to do, and the
-
church at law Arts did not want him to work
-
amongst them. I said, the church at Barge did not
-
want him to work amongst them because of his rat sheet,
-
because of his background, because.
-
Of what would have been going on in the.
-
Jerusalem wireless What was then spoken about this man assault
-
of Tarsism. But the Holy Ghost tell Father he didn't
-
need the Holy Ghost to preach the Holy Ghost field
-
brother and Anisa. Fortunately he was able to hear from God.
-
Everybody else is missing it. And because an Anisa had
-
heard from God, he knew.
-
I can receive this man into my house. He can
-
tamping me for three days, and after three days I
-
can play going up.
-
He can receive the Holy ghostuff, he can receive a
-
sight of because had another I said, was.
-
That spirit deal the spirit love brother?
-
It was the spirit of God that said, this is
-
a chosen mestal undo me. In other words, the spirit
-
of God was saying, Hey, God's gonna use him. God's
-
gonna work through him. Do y'all remember when the counsel,
-
the Judai Isers, that Judaism counsel.
-
Was meeting, that convened and they were meeting having.
-
Conversation concerning and generating conspiracy concerning Christ.
-
Y'all will remember brother Nathaniel.
-
They were talking about this and talking about that, how
-
we should shut down his ministry.
-
And Gabel, right, the one that.
-
Tutored the great Apostle Paul, the man Gabel, he said, hey,
-
you better.
-
Leave it alone, because if this is a God, you're.
-
Fighting in vain.
-
If this is a God, come on now, you're fighting
-
in vain. And if it's God a god, it will
-
come to nothing. I wonder if the Apostle Paul heard
-
about what given you? Ord Gamel said, come on, are
-
you all getting what I said? Even the men knew.
-
If God's inting this, God's gonna finish it.
-
I'm not worried about Goe with finishing the article because
-
God told him to start it.
-
Because God was so much hitter. God's gonna penish it. Hobo,
-
I don't get all the gold for wood. I've been
-
ude out of gold for wood. I told right, God
-
can make them trees come back in twenty five years.
-
It's done sixty years. Oh, I feel I'm preaching. Chilly's
-
calling me. The spirit's willing. The belly's weak. Huh, the
-
belly is weak, Brother Walter, Should I keep preaching I'm
-
telling me to keep preaching. Paul knew God would finish it.
-
Paul knew God would finish his sister Hell because of
-
the way it began, because of the way my ministry began.
-
Sister how has an idea God will finish.
-
It the way your salvation began? Sister Hell, you might
-
have been a prodigal girl on about side. Are gone out.
-
But everybody that knew Janet Hill knew something happened. Right Terry,
-
I don't know what chack of where it happened. You
-
could tell me sometime. I'm glad to have you here,
-
Sister Janet Hill. But they knew whatever it was that
-
walked in and threw the devil out is there the
-
state they ain't come on now.
-
I feel like preaching.
-
In the last two days, I've heard from two.
-
Prodigals of this church. Yes they still love me. Both
-
of them are women, and my wife and I dear
-
to be love. God has spoken to us that the
-
prodigals would one to come home. In the last two days,
-
I've heard from two of them, one one day and
-
another one today. And you know what they said, I'm
-
about ready to come home. You know what they've been
-
telling me I remember that message you preaching why we
-
all kept get alone?
-
Well, come on now, I'm telling you, God, I can't
-
fit us up.
-
Who walk he began now in the lives of them,
-
the internet, in the lives of them mean God.
-
Can perfect that concerned here, When the devil tells you
-
you're not gonna make it, when the devil tells you
-
you're nothing, when the devil tells you.
-
You're worthness, you ought to tell him, well, why didn't
-
come saved me there?
-
Because you don't lie us more saving He's.
-
Tarpy in my blood, keep tying me in the mile.
-
He wreckted me up to finish me as the claim
-
the hand of the potter. He will finish that concerning you.
-
I'm feeling the holy ghost of God in this building
-
right now, at this moment, a powerful word, Apostle Paul
-
yoused finish.
-
I've done a lot of draw war work.
-
Over the years. Recently, just foolishly, I bought a draw wallchack.
-
Wondering I fact, fifty years of age, I would decided
-
to start a drywall business again. But when their shouldiers
-
get sore at fifty years of age, brother water, I
-
think i'd.
-
Brother push a pencil, then left drive off.
-
Sometimes when I'm pushing a pencil and doing some engineering work,
-
I think I'd rather be lifting.
-
Some trywall drinking the men do again.
-
I bought that trywalk jack in a thought, man, the
-
trywall I could have hung back when I was a
-
young man, or something like this. I told the hawlbos,
-
play with that thing, man, familiarize yourself with that. Maybe
-
I could make a few bucks off of you if
-
you decide to hang some trywof.
-
But I said, you know, it's hard for me to
-
believe that.
-
Only about twenty years ago, between probably the age of
-
twenty seven had thirty three, I could.
-
Take a four by twelve almost by myself with a tea.
-
Bott wooden jack with about five little boys running around,
-
with my screw gun in one hand and a handful
-
a triwall screw and screws in the other.
-
And I could fish it up there, push that tee
-
bar up, kick it up tight, and hang.
-
That trawwof just out to myself. Now, I'm telling you
-
that's a lot harder to do than you think it is.
-
And there was something I never wanted to do. I
-
could do it, but I just fised doing it, and
-
that was finishing up the drywall.
-
I want to Simon out to somebody else he calls her.
-
Other details involved. If he calls her for the critics,
-
that will look old.
-
Because my nature I'm a perfection, so that I didn't
-
want to do anything less than perfect.
-
Well, I want you to know it's a perfect time
-
and God's time, and say, you know, I want you
-
to know what.
-
God will finish it perfectly. Concerning you, he is a finishing.
-
Not over. Did he roughly frame you when you were
-
rough around the edges?
-
He'll finish it, impossor Paul, speaking in the Action at
-
twenty and twenty four, Louke the blood physician recorded it,
-
thinking with me is the doctor that.
-
Knew I better finish this prescription that Pace had better
-
finish that prescribed medicine, Richard, and better finish the surgical procedure.
-
And from the Luke the brother positions writing us down,
-
and Paul said, concerning all this stuff.
-
That was going on, y'all know what he went through.
-
I mean, that man went through so much.
-
He said, But none of these things move me, neither.
-
Count on my life, dear under myself, so that I
-
might finish my course, none of these things move me,
-
neither count on my life. Dear under myself, so that
-
I may finish my course with a joy. With How
-
you gonna finish with joy? How you gonna finish if
-
you ain't up a cancer with joy? How you gonna
-
finish if you got copd with joy? How you gonna
-
preach when you're so sick like everybody else in your church?
-
With joy? Because he he's the water that helps us
-
give us our course.
-
He said, so that I might finish my course with
-
joy in the ministry which I ever see to the
-
Lord Jesus to testify the gospel of.
-
The grace of God.
-
Paul said this because everywhere he went, the Holy Ghost
-
is witnessing that bonds and afflictions wait him.
-
How many of you want to finish out tomorrow?
-
If be heading is the vehicle that you're going to
-
take to go across the finish lining. Not many hands
-
went up right now? How many of you say, well,
-
I'd like to die after a good thick bull of chilli.
-
There's a bunch of hands going up by Paul knew
-
God would finish when he started in his life. Remember,
-
don't ever forget what God has done already. He won't
-
have a problem facing the future. If you will remember
-
the victories of the past, you won't have a problem
-
facing the fights and the battles of the future.
-
If you will remember the victories of the past. Hey,
-
you need to remember. He loved you when you was
-
at your worst. He loved you when you were at
-
your worst, when you were a drunkard, whenever you were,
-
whatever you were, he loved you.
-
And now you're striving to please him so desperately that
-
you feel like you've failed him just a little bit.
-
And then the devil hollers at you and says, you
-
ain't gonna finish.
-
That's right, you won't finish, but he will help you finish.
-
And because he will help you finish, you will finish.
-
You know what, Brother Jesse, I was praying about this
-
that I thought, Lord, what was Apostle Paul looking back to?
-
And it seemed about the Lord whispered into my heart.
-
He said, Jeremy, what did Apostle Paul talk most often about.
-
When he was speaking? Does anybody know what did Apostle
-
Paul refer back to most often when he was speaking
-
to people? That experience he had that encounter on the
-
Damascus road. I was on my road to Damascus. I
-
was on my way. I was on that dusty road
-
to Damascus.
-
What he was doing when he was out there floating
-
on driftwood, or when he was floating on a piece
-
of a.
-
Ship, bobbing up and down like the.
-
Court, or when he was grabbing his wrist because of
-
surfing or a viper Ben he's shaking it off in
-
the fire.
-
He's remembering, I'm not gonna die yet, because he ain't
-
finished with me yet.
-
When he's bobbing up and down in I'm rereditor the
-
Mediterranean Sea or whatever. See he was bobbing up and
-
down there, and sharks are circling him, Brother Jesse, he
-
could think, that's not the nibble of a shark, that's
-
the nibble of a jellyfish.
-
Because God ain't through with me yet.
-
There's some of you thinking sharks that are at your
-
toes when it's jellyfish, Well, I'm scared of a jellyfish.
-
You ought to use more wisdom than that, because not
-
every one of them are venomous lash poisonous. There's some
-
of them you pick up, slap it on top of
-
your head, I've done it just to teach my boys
-
the difference and the ones that are venomous and the
-
ones that are just basically transparent.
-
Jell o.
-
But I mean, we feel like just because we're in
-
a circumstance or a predicament, how am I gonna get
-
out of this?
-
I'm in a sickness, I've been an illness.
-
How am I gonna get out of this? Is this
-
a death sentence? The doctor told me I need to
-
change my diet. Is this a death sentence? Preacher, I'm
-
not gonna finish, y't I'll never get to drive, I'll
-
never get to get married, I'll never see my grandkids,
-
I'll never.
-
Get the Holy ghost?
-
Do you know the same God that touched you in
-
that one service will mean the same one that baptizes you.
-
Here the holy ghost and with power, just a grace.
-
That's right, we can call fire down around here, your
-
holy ghost power. Colo mean, now, I'm telling you, if
-
God same till he can sac the pi, and if
-
he sunk the pie till he kill you, where the
-
holy ghost just as easy as the same truth, he
-
can fill you.
-
With a hole of ghost. He lost the penacing in
-
the fire. I said God, Walster, finish it in the
-
fire phrase.
-
He kept referring back to that experience on the Dabastiss road.
-
He Brews, chapter number twelve and verse number two. Paul
-
right to the Jewish believers. Here, he said, looking under Jesus,
-
the author and the finisher of our faith, who for
-
the joy that was set before him, endured the cross,
-
despising the shame, and is setting down at the right
-
hand of the throne.
-
Up God, y'all thinking.
-
When Jesus set down at the right hand of the Father,
-
he complained, the Father probably said, son, I need one
-
of my sons to come here. Come on over here,
-
brother Nathaniel, quickly sitting down right there. Just gotta squap down. Okay,
-
we gotta make shift. Thrown here, put your hand.
-
On my throne.
-
Son, you said it's finished.
-
Roll that hand over, boy, forever you will bear in
-
your body to Martins, Paul said, in this life he
-
walked through, he buried him his body, he bore his
-
body the mark. But when Apostle Paul got to heaven,
-
he got a new body. Because Jesus will never play
-
secret filled in anybody.
-
And so when the Father put his herd on the
-
son said, roll it over, boy, was it worth it?
-
Was it worth it?
-
Well?
-
The butler, the father could put that index finger in
-
that nail printing at wrist.
-
You know what Jesus will say, she was worth it?
-
Who she bore?
-
It was worth the church, it was worth Ashley good
-
Dana Goodens, Janet here sending neither Lord Wood Danvers going on, yes, sir,
-
she worked it, and Jesus say yes, she was worth it.
-
And then here's what Jesus was saying. Father ain't yet
-
finished up. She's still making herself ready. I'm still sending
-
over Dona.
-
Are you free healing? Oh?
-
I'm still healing or other diseesus. I started preaching sick,
-
but I ain't sick right now. I've totally I started
-
feeling weak, but I ain't feeling weak right now.
-
I don't believe we're gonna have to die with somebody's illnesses.
-
I told her sister House she's been battling that's a
-
verear case of COPD for a little over two.
-
Years now, almost two and a half years. I told
-
her on January one, I said I have entered war
-
with safety, and.
-
I said, I want this to be your year that
-
trick heels. I don't believe she's gonna have to die.
-
I struggle for breath. My dear brother said.
-
One time he was battling.
-
If you know who he is, to keep his identity quiet,
-
I don't wanna name him, but he said he was
-
battling because he was losing his vision, and he was
-
pastoring to church. And I feel the Holy goods right
-
here as I'm preaching, and I'm gonna roll into this illustration.
-
And that dear brother was probably at that time in
-
his early thirties and mid thirties.
-
And he said he was fighting the mind battle system,
-
that he's gonna end up going blind and not be
-
able to pastor his church, or that he'd have to
-
try to pastor blind. He was already losing his vision.
-
And some of these younger preachers of this generation, they're
-
so good at reading books and getting their books from
-
other preachers, and their sermons out of those books that
-
they get from other preachers. This right here didn't come
-
out of the book. They want to shove his own
-
great men of God out. And I do believe God
-
still got some great young preachers.
-
We've got a bunch of 'em, right here come old
-
brother Jeremy.
-
And I believe they are wonderful preachers, and I'm not
-
throwing down on any of them, but they want to
-
throw these old preachers out.
-
And their messages.
-
But I can tell you when that young preacher that
-
hold in his church, that held that good hold in
-
his standard, was battling in his mind, Brother elde Moore
-
called him.
-
They didn't even know each other.
-
I think their pasts had crossed briefly, maybe somewhere out west.
-
And Brother eld Moore said, Brother, and that voice.
-
That he has, he said, I was praying this morning
-
and God said, you ain't got a worry about enter,
-
and he turned it blind.
-
And that brother said, I've been talking to Brother Eldie Moore.
-
And anyone along after that. God he old that brother's eyes.
-
And that's what I told sis to have one. In
-
January twenty twenty five, we're fixing the pass out anointing
-
old bottles right here, bring them out, Brother Nathaniel. Little
-
sister Hollis said, you don't have to enter attorney with
-
a severe aggressive case of COPD.
-
You don't have to enter eternity on oxygen.
-
Come on, brother Philip, you don't you're gonna have to
-
die something, but you don't have to die cancer.
-
With joy.
-
Jesus for the joy that was set before him, endured
-
the cross, despising the shame, and to set down at
-
the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus sit
-
there like Paul, because Jesus knew his appointment and his assignment.
-
Come on, now, I'm telling you you're gonna endourge Us
-
like Paul and Jesus did, because you know your appointment
-
and you know your assignment. You know you didn't stumbled
-
into the bethelo in this church. You know you're appointed
-
of God to be here.
-
And you know what ofs God started.
-
No matter if you're a young brother or widow old,
-
God's gonna finish it. I said, you know that God's
-
gonna finish it.
-
You know why Jesus the sot sided about facing the cross.
-
And going through that gruesome execution because he remembered the beginning.
-
I said, he remembered the beginning.
-
Apostle Paul, remember the grace of America. It took place
-
on the Damascus Road. Let's stand at this time, so
-
Paul is telling the members of the church in PHILIPPI,
-
I'm confident that the Lord is gonna finish his work.
-
Brother Nathaniel, Brother Jesse, would you start passing these out,
-
one per household. Let the Howell family be last, because
-
we served as people. Let the Howell family be last,
-
one for household. I tell you, beautiful Bethel, God's gonna
-
finish it. We wonder will we ever get to where
-
He intends us to be. It's not going to come
-
to fulfillment by your own ambition, your own talent, your
-
own strengths or determination is going to come to pass
-
because of Him and his spirit.
-
I was praying, and I will close with this. At
-
the end of my prayer, I heard the Lord say,
-
it's not by might, not all power, but by my spirits,
-
say it the light. And you people are born in
-
a spirit, and you're walking in the spirit.
-
And I want you right now to take that fall
-
of all and I want you to open it, and
-
I want you to allow every member of your household
-
to get some of that old on their finger. Brother Caleb,
-
from right now, you're.
-
The only man in your household, and you, sister Simmons,
-
you got your own bottle. But I want you to
-
to pray for one another. Brother Befford,
