Preach. I'm just gonna sort just a few moments.
-
Uh.
-
The Holy Ghost has moved sobraten in this it has
-
just been spectacular.
-
Thank you for it.
-
I saw just so much for you tonight, O man,
-
brother Christian, would.
-
I want to go look with the loop Chapter eleven.
-
Just read just a few verses to you.
-
It came to pass as he was praying in a
-
certain place when he seized one disciples said to him, Lord,
-
teach us to pray that.
-
John also told his disciples. He said to them, when
-
you pray, say our Father, which are in heaven, hollow
-
it be thy name, thy kingdom. Come. I will be
-
done as in heaven, so on earth, give us day
-
by day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins.
-
We also forgive everyone that is indebted to us, and
-
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
-
Notice notice this he has just told.
-
Them that great method prayer.
-
Verse five. And he said under.
-
Them, which of you shall have a friend, and shall
-
go to him at midnight and.
-
Say under him, friend, lend me three loaves. For a
-
friend of.
-
Mine in his journey is come to me.
-
And I have nothing to sit before him? And he
-
from within shall answer and say, they trouble me not.
-
The doors now shut, and my children are.
-
With me in bed.
-
I cannot rise and give thee I say unto you.
-
Though he will not rise and give him because he
-
is his friend. Yet because of his importunity, he will
-
rise and give him as many as he needed. And
-
I say unto you, asking it shall be given. You seek,
-
and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be.
-
Opened unto you. For everyone that asketh.
-
Receive it, and he that seek and findeth, and to
-
him that knocketh it shall be open. If a son
-
shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will.
-
He give him a stone?
-
Or if he ask a fish, will he give for
-
a fish, give him a serpent? Or if he shall
-
ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion.
-
If ye, then, being evil to allow to give good gifts.
-
To your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father
-
give the Holy Spirit to them that asked him? And
-
I have read these scriptures for how many times, and
-
preach from them some. But I saw something today in praying,
-
and their brother house sent me in text. It was
-
just right along what I was praying and reading.
-
But usually when this is thought upon.
-
We think upon that man being on the door begging
-
for bread, and that man in the house that has
-
to bread that.
-
Is seemingly resisted. He's not that seemingly.
-
So.
-
The woman that's never mentioned is the friend, the woman.
-
That inspired the entire indable.
-
This man was not there to.
-
Get something for himself. He was trying to get something
-
to take to somebody that he knew that needed it.
-
Amen, James tells us, she have not because you ask not,
-
You receive not because you ask Himiss that you may
-
consume it upon your own loss. We're not in this
-
for us. This friend that we're preaching about it and
-
that the Lord has been.
-
Blessing us with it is not just for us.
-
It is for us to be enable to give it
-
to somebody else.
-
I want to just for a moment, ask you, are
-
you focused on your friend? Amen?
-
Yes, if there is one that comes into our next
-
service after service, there's one that comes into our next
-
there's one that steps into.
-
Our services, and sometimes it seems, like Mother Nathaniel, we
-
feel like we have nothing to offer him.
-
I'm not talking about Amen, simply the stranger the walks
-
in the back door.
-
I'm talking about a heavenly friend. I'm talking about a
-
friend that sticks host tom closer than a bridle. I'm
-
talking about a heavenly visitor that comes.
-
By and then our cardinal endeavors.
-
We have nothing offer him, We have nothing to give you.
-
If he wanted gold, he make him out and nag.
-
If he wanted, if he wanted, if he wanted diamonds,
-
he turned the Hayman in postate puilding into a diamond.
-
He comes in seeking praise and seeking worship, and seeking adulation,
-
and seeking honor from his children.
-
And here we said as children. So now we're in that.
-
Great endeavor where we say, Lord, we've got needs here.
-
We've got only a heavenly visitor here, but we've got
-
folks here with needs.
-
Lord, I'm coming to you asking.
-
You for bread, not for me, Amen, heymen, but I
-
want to take it, and I want to present it
-
to my heavenly visitor.
-
I want to present it to my friend.
-
I want my friend, Heyman to know that I'm not gonna.
-
Hey but this man, he now, would he have even
-
went there not been that friend of his came buy?
-
What have you?
-
Even in Revelation we're told about the church of the
-
honestee it, and they said, we're rich, increased in goods,
-
we have need of nothing nothing. May I say, when
-
you're in need of nothing, you are nothing of need.
-
The world does not need you either.
-
Man, we look at the Lord and say I'm rich
-
and increased the goods and have need of nothing.
-
He does not need you any longer.
-
Amen.
-
Remember when we can say, Lord, give me that bread, evermore,
-
give me.
-
That water, evermore, give me that bread.
-
Because I have a friend that I want to take
-
it to. I have somebody that I want to bless
-
with it. I have somebody that I want to carry
-
it to. The notice of Prodigal said, my father's servants
-
have bread despair.
-
Amen. That means they're gonna share it with me. That
-
means they're gonna give me some of their bread. Amen.
-
If he thought the father's servants was sitting there with
-
her bread clapped up, I guess, and I'm not giving
-
it to nobody. Amen. He wouldn't have.
-
Left the home Black. We left the hoola because there
-
was a place that had something to share with you.
-
And then I'll fixing sitting down. But there's a scripture
-
that sometime and I know it's great and wonderful. I
-
feel every time I read it a tinge of sadness.
-
It's a twenty fifth chapter.
-
Of the Book of Matthew. When the foolish come unto
-
the wise and say, give us a your ale. F
-
our lamps are going out. That sign enough in itself.
-
But brother Samuel, when they look at the wise, say
-
not so lett, there not be enough for us and you.
-
What they were saying was, we just have enough. We
-
don't have enough to share. We don't have enough to
-
give you any at all. We don't have enough to
-
let you have any You say, well, that's their fault
-
that they got it.
-
I get you.
-
I understand that, And I'm not denied.
-
That they were wise and the others were foolish.
-
But wouldn't you love to have something to share it
-
to somebody when they come by? Would that lost person
-
comes I'm o, Dave, what God gave us here.
-
Denied was not just for us anymore. What God gave you,
-
deny it was not just.
-
For you, amen, And that.
-
You will see in the days to come that this
-
bread that He's been doling out to you. Hey, go
-
hold on to it real tight, keep it in a
-
place where you know where it's at.
-
Don't fall away, don't let it go back, because there's
-
somebody gonna be coming through that door saying I'm a
-
traveler from the foreign country, by the hell, and I
-
know how they praying at hungry. I'm really hungry.
-
I don't know what to do.
-
Ain't that all helpless?
-
Lord?
-
If the church has nothing to offer them?
-
Hey there, Hey that there.
-
Is a wall out there, hay that do you notice what?
-
But the How preached on him last night?
-
He thean the family in the land, not a hunger
-
for praying, nor thust for water, but for the hearing.
-
Not the same the hearing. They're not hearing it. I know,
-
hungry for it. I there looking for a place that
-
still has the bread of life doll around to them.
-
I appreciate the Lord tonight so much for what he's
-
done in this revival.
-
I'm really do I am revived. Amen.
-
I am taking some bread with me to places Amen
-
that I looked, and I'm.
-
Taking it and delivered it to them. Amen. There are
-
people listening amen over mix speaker, Amen, that are hungry
-
for bread, and you're giving it to them.
-
Thank God for that, Amen, Brother, How I just appreciate
-
the Lord tonight.
-
I love you, I love this church. I love the
-
spirit that's here.
-
Please please hold on to this, Please hold on to this.
-
Amen.
-
Amen. But bread, bread in.
-
The natural, goes back in a few days, Amen, because
-
it has so much good in it. You said, twinkie
-
on the shelf for twenty five years and pull it off.
-
It's still a twinkie. You need it. Of course, there's
-
nothing in it. But even back ter you will eat. Amen.
-
Say what I love them, I know, I know you do.
-
A man.
-
Amen, you can lay pop tart out in the sun
-
for days. I doubt an ancient did. But I love them,
-
my bed man. So you have to keep replenishing the bread.
-
You have to keep replenishing it. That's why we have relivals.
-
And that's why Sunday morning you'll come back and say, Lord,
-
give me some more bread. That's why you will come
-
back Sunday night and say Lord give me some more bread.
-
That's why next Wednesday.
-
You'll say, Lord, give me some more bread.
-
And men, because somebody's gonna come through the door and
-
they ain't gonna be bringing no bread with them because
-
they ain't gotten one.
-
Amen. The traveler didn't have him bread. Amen.
-
Amen.
-
And he went to a house that didn't have him bread.
-
But the one at the house that didn't have a bread,
-
Brother Caleb knew where that was sound. And I believe
-
in the last few nights, in the last few services, Amen,
-
since and.
-
Since about Amen, since about.
-
Sunday morning, God has endeavored to show Bethel you are
-
not only the house of bread.
-
In name only. Amen.
-
Amen, you are the house of bread in reality, Godness,
-
the Lord
