Titled why do you smell like that? Look at your
-
neighbor and saying, hey, neighbor, why do you smell like that?
-
Has anybody ever been in the.
-
House after mama fried fish? And after a day or two,
-
someone walks in that hasn't been there in the last
-
day or two, and they asked the question, why does
-
the house smell like fish? Does anybody know what I'm
-
talking about? Or Mama been fixing collared.
-
Greens or mustard greens and all that good spiritual grub.
-
And somebody walked in and said, it smells like greens
-
in here.
-
Where's the cornbread?
-
Mama said, well, I cooked that several hours ago. It's
-
already been devoured, but it's still smelled like greens. Thank God,
-
Why do you smell like that? If you have your Bible,
-
will you turn with me to the Book of Hebrews,
-
chapter number nine. We'll be looking at versus number thirteen
-
and verse number fourteen. I do pastor the people in
-
the greatest church in the world of Bethel Holness. Church
-
folk are wonderful People's my privilege to.
-
Serve as their pastor.
-
But our brother Nathaniel acts chapter number four Versus number
-
thirteen and fourteen. Brother jesse Daniel, chapter number three, Verse
-
number twenty seven. Brother Nathaniel Acts chapter number four, Versus
-
number thirteen and fourteen.
-
Brother. Now, when they.
-
Saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that
-
they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled, and they
-
took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus
-
and beholding the man which was healed, standing with them.
-
They could say nothing against it. Why wouldn't they act
-
that way they had been with Jesus. Of course they're
-
acting that way. They learned something in three and a
-
half years of ministry. Praise the Lord, Brother jesse Daniel,
-
chapter number.
-
Three, verst Number twenty seven.
-
And the princes, governors and captains, and the kings counselors,
-
being gathered together, saw these men upon whose bodies the
-
fire had no power, nor was in the hair of
-
their head singed. Neither were their coats changed, nor the
-
smell of.
-
Fire had passed on them.
-
They didn't smell like Nevakannezzar's fires smoking.
-
They smelt like their Savior, tays the Lord. They have
-
been with Jesus in the middle of their child.
-
Let's stand Hebrews, chapter number nine, verses number thirteen and fourteen.
-
The Bible says, worth the blood of bulls and of goats,
-
and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean sactified
-
to the purifying of the flesh. How much more shall
-
the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered
-
himself without spot to God, perjured conscience from dead works
-
to serve serve the Living God. The blood of Christ,
-
who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God,
-
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
-
It'll purge your conscience from dead works to serve.
-
The living God.
-
It'll purge your conscience from dead works to serve the
-
living God. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we think that we
-
praise you for the opportunity.
-
To be here tonight.
-
I think you for what the Spirit of God has
-
said to the church.
-
Tonight in warning your people of chat GPT.
-
I pray that you would anoint this thy servant said
-
of God at my mouth, and help me to say
-
the things you would have me to say, nothing more
-
or less an what the ears of this people, that
-
they might hear what the Spirit of God says, and
-
to the church tonight through the preach.
-
Not of my words, but of your words.
-
We pray God, we give you praise, honoring glory in
-
Jesus' name in the church, said heymen, and may we
-
depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully again preaching a
-
message the Holy Ghost title why do you smell like that?
-
Our text is found in a New Testament book of
-
the Holy Bible.
-
The Book of Hebrews.
-
This Book of Hebrews is a blessing to those who
-
read it, whether Jew or Gentile.
-
Hold on to that for the years to come.
-
Someone will tell you that the Book of Hebrews is
-
not relevant to you as a gentile believer, because it
-
was directed to Hebrew people.
-
This book of the Bible.
-
Was directed to Jewish believers while they were living in Rome.
-
But it is all so profitable for all Christians, whether
-
Jew are gentile.
-
And it's for us.
-
All the writings of this Book of the Bible is
-
for us. All throughout this sacred writing, the author whom
-
I believe to be the Apostle Paul, he makes it clearer.
-
To the believer that Jesus was able.
-
To do so much more than any other priest or sacrifice.
-
He's able to do so much more than any other
-
priest can do, because he is the great High Priest,
-
He's the son of God, and he is the substitutionary sacrifice.
-
He shoved you out of the way, put himself in
-
your place, and died upon that cross and pain to
-
send death. And I'm thankful that he was able to
-
do more than any other priest or any other.
-
Sacrifice could do. He was much better.
-
As a sacrifice for our sins than a bull, a goat,
-
or rim.
-
Brother Richard Jacob, I'm thankful that the.
-
Apostle Paul did everything he could do to convince Jewish
-
and Gentile Christians that it was unnecessary to revert back
-
to keeping the Mosaic Law. Only these Jewish people were
-
being pressured to go back to honoring the Mosaic Law.
-
Some of that was not a problem at all.
-
That they were willing to do some of the things
-
that were found there in the Mosaic Law. The sanitary
-
code should be kept by all members of humanity, past,
-
present and future. Aren't you thankful that Moses taught them
-
what to do with their ways than to buy products
-
of certain things I'm very thankful for that. But concerning
-
the ceremonial law, there was no need whatsoever for them
-
to ever offer animal sacrifice unto God Almighty.
-
Again, they had been blood washed and soaked in the ruby.
-
Red blood of the lad They had taken a blood
-
bath in that.
-
Wonderful soul cleansing fountain.
-
How many of you tonight can say you have taken
-
a blood bath and you have.
-
Been washed clean of your sin.
-
That soul that belongs to God is squeaky clean tonight,
-
including your conscience.
-
Praise the Lord.
-
It's been cleansed from dead works, and you are now
-
a living and a breathing, vibrant new creature in Christ Jesus.
-
You see, King Jesus had proven a much better sacrifice
-
for these people's sin than any other bullet, lamb, dove
-
or God Good. How many people here tonight know how
-
to butcher an animal? You are not a priest, and
-
you have never offered animal sacrifice unto any deity, But
-
you have butchered an animal. Since the sinding Ealy knows
-
how to good of hobbs. He knows how to book
-
a hawk, cut it off and throw the remnants into
-
a pan fried up. Praise the Lord. How many of
-
you have ever butchered an animal?
-
Just go ahead and loosen up with lighting up here, homie,
-
you murderers.
-
Praise God.
-
You had to kill that pig in order to have
-
ham right, you had to kill up a a.
-
Pork, your pig, in order to have some bacon.
-
And so these priests, they were very familiar with slaying
-
that sacrificial animal, and they were most familiar with segmenting
-
it and offering it upon an altar of sacrificing.
-
For any priest that's ever.
-
Done blood sacrifice or anybody that's ever butchered an animal,
-
you know that after washing up and beling up to
-
the altar or beling up to the table, sometimes you'll
-
notice that there is something amiss with the situation.
-
There was a certain aroma of going on. I remember
-
being a little boy and being in the.
-
Presence of my grandfather Willard, and.
-
There was a certain aroma emitting from his body. In fact,
-
until this day, when I walk through certain stores in
-
the fragrance department, I notice certain smells and immediately it
-
brings back a memory of brother Bill Houston or mister
-
Willard Howell.
-
There's some of.
-
You in this building, you smell like a bath and
-
body works. I'm telling you right here in the House
-
of God, and I'm not preaching against the use of fragrances,
-
but I want to caution you that if you ever
-
go into the Smoky or the Rocky mount smelling like
-
apple butter, every bear in the region.
-
Is going to know you're there, and he's going to
-
know that you smell like bath.
-
If bodyworks apple butter a pre You South Floridians and
-
like to smell like coconut, better be careful getting aboard
-
an airplane and traveling to the Caribbean Islands with Brother
-
Nathaniel and Eye, because every monkey on the island will
-
be trilling.
-
You want to correct that him.
-
I'm telling you right here tonight, those of you that
-
are murderers and animal butchers, you know very well.
-
What it is that I'm talking about.
-
After you've done that, indeed, there isn't a role whether
-
that you cannot get off of you. There is a
-
scent or a fragrance that is very unapleasing, and that
-
is the scent of blood. Even though there was no
-
resi no residential evidence of blood.
-
On your hands, the smell was there? Right? Am I
-
telling it right? I'll come on now.
-
In high school I had a drama class. There were
-
a lot of times around Christmas time that I took
-
the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.
-
You'll find out where I'm going.
-
I can tell your wills are turning to not wondering
-
what in the world is he talking about?
-
And how will the Holy Ghost pull all of this together?
-
But when I was in high school, I had a
-
drama class.
-
I took on the role year after year of Ebenezer Scrooge.
-
Sometimes in the mornings, I would go to the broadcasting
-
room and get on Panther TV and.
-
Speak to the students in the local high school. In
-
my high school English honors teacher she figured out to
-
be and another student in her class were involved in
-
acting and drama and brother Nathaniel. She asked us to
-
act out our studies or our lessons for the days
-
and says to how.
-
We were studying WILLIAMS. Shakespeare's and writings.
-
And I'm not encouraging any sanctified believer tonight to.
-
Study the writings.
-
Of William Shakespeare. They are not good, wholesome writings. I
-
am not endorsing his writings.
-
But I remember one particular play written by William Shakespeare
-
that we had to act out. I can tell you
-
exactly where we were standing when we began to act
-
out to play titled Macbeth. How many of you remember
-
the play McBeth. I'm walking around right now, nowhere near
-
my Bible or the sacred desk of just preaching from
-
my heart right now. I remember as we were acting
-
out Macbeth, we learned of two primary characters, one of
-
them being Macbeth and the other one Lady Macbeth.
-
And it's been about.
-
Thirty something years ago, Sister Hannah, since.
-
I was in high school.
-
Well, but they're me and a fellow student was acting
-
out to Lady Macbeth and Macbeth.
-
And Lady Macbeth was doing everything she.
-
Could do to persuade Macbeth to commit.
-
Some sort of great evil.
-
That great evil was to murder political opponents. There was
-
one particular dignitaria, like y'all help me right here, one
-
particular political opponent or somebody that occupied a certain space
-
office named Duncan, and Lady Macbeth would tell Macbeth that
-
you have to remove him and take him out in
-
order to advance in order to take his seat, in
-
order to occupy his throne, You're gonna have to get
-
your hands dirty.
-
And I'm telling you I remember thinking about that.
-
I thought, my mama, how people.
-
Will manipulate people in order to accomplish her what they
-
themselves want to accomplish her. And sure enough, for manipulation
-
of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, she convinced Macbeth to commit murder.
-
And if I remember.
-
Correctly, Lady Macbeth said, after a while, she said, all
-
I see and all I smell is blood.
-
I feel the senter of death. I smell the senter
-
of death.
-
My conscience, it's horrified on the dayly basis. Oh, come
-
on now, I believe that there's people in this building
-
that are haunted by their unrepentent I believe they're haunted
-
by their unrepented sin.
-
There's something about the way the brain works.
-
Because once it's smell death, it is an unforgettable scent.
-
In the spelling tonight are three undertakers, and they would
-
tell you there is nothing in the world and all
-
like the scent or the smell of dead. They can
-
tell you their nostrils can remember the metallic smell, the
-
iron and.
-
The human logan.
-
I remember hearing years ago somebody describate like this.
-
They said, some metallic smell. It's one that I cannot forget.
-
It's an unforgetable scent.
-
I'm telling you, I said a little while ago that
-
I can steal walk through some department stairs and smell
-
my granddaddy. There's been times that I've looked to the
-
left and I've looked to the right, expecting to see him.
-
Because from the time.
-
I was a two year road and riding in Papa's
-
truckt en until the time he died, there was a
-
certain senterm about Willard Hal, and I associate that senterm
-
with Willard Hal. Come on, now, you see these priests,
-
the author of Hebrews was talking about.
-
They knew what the smell of blood was. There was
-
a lot of times that they came home smelling like blood.
-
Their life would have known more of smelling life, The
-
children would have.
-
Known more of smelling life.
-
That could cause these being more consecrated people. And there
-
was blood on their ears, there was blood on their thumb,
-
there was blood on their.
-
Turn The stitch of death was in the air. There
-
had been a cleansing.
-
Something special had taken place the Bibles. Without the shedding
-
of blood, there is no remission of sin and no texting.
-
He was not a thirteen b like this, and how
-
much more shot the blood of Christ who through eternal spirit.
-
Offered himself without spot to God. Purge of your conscience
-
for dead works to serve the living God.
-
Recently I met a.
-
Preacher, and while speaking to him, I wondered what that
-
smell was.
-
There was a.
-
Meeting from his body, and as.
-
We continued the fellowship, I thought, that does not smell right.
-
In one particular time, he leaned on.
-
From got really close to me, and I recognized the smell.
-
That I used to smell.
-
For my father in law. My father in law.
-
Was a change smoker and sister.
-
How of immediately I knew that was the smell of
-
Marlboro cigarettes.
-
And I thought, by my mind, why do you spill
-
like that?
-
I'm preaching tonight a sermon, tyler, Why do you spill
-
like that?
-
I listened to his conversation.
-
I listen to how his heart smoke whenever he spoke
-
on such the depths of his heart. Because the Bible
-
said out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
-
I wanted to know him by the presence with a
-
company of a hypocrite.
-
It's this man smoking Marlboro cigarettes.
-
While it's not at church. Why is the sent he
-
meaning from his body?
-
But when I listened to his conversation, when I looked
-
upon his worship, I could tell that this man was
-
still smoker. And Brother, Nathan, you as I continue to
-
listen to him and refuse the false accuse him and
-
refuse it, to allow on him, and refuse.
-
To listen to the gossip goblin's gossip. Oh, come on
-
to the rumor, rambless randling.
-
As I lead in the heart and pondered it and
-
prayed about it, I realize God could.
-
Give me the answer. It wasn't too long after I
-
felt the spirit.
-
Of God speak to me and he said, I was
-
solve this mystery.
-
That preacher said.
-
Listen.
-
He said, listen, I've been over.
-
There trying to help my brother before church tonight, and
-
he's a chain smoker. I knew right there in there,
-
why this man my smoke? This is still over the
-
son of your head. It'll make sense out here. Hit
-
a minute and come home. This man went to see
-
his father, who was a smoker, and they spent like
-
a smoker.
-
Himself due to his association. Who with wrong?
-
And that's out of us? Who the children of God?
-
You can tell when they're they're reading the Bible.
-
You can tell where.
-
They they're going to the House of God. You can
-
tell when they've been in the pentecostle.
-
Annoying his services.
-
You compill a Christian from somebody that pretends up to.
-
Be a Christian.
-
You can tell a genuine Christian from a counterfeit a Christian.
-
Come on, he went to see.
-
His brother who was a smoker, and he spent him
-
like a smoker.
-
That pusson on the child.
-
You're not to chooses, we're not to cheering, we're not
-
to judge.
-
But he can tell that they ain't been to see
-
their Master and aloud ain't in there. Just keeping the
-
left in a while.
-
Left thing you want that is book for a while,
-
that thing you take after another.
-
Long let's call a lile let.
-
I'm not talking about to ride it, tuck combos.
-
I'm talking about the mother.
-
Let's come Jesus. It will tear the conscience.
-
I see you think there will say ain't gonna smell
-
let like the save Let's I said.
-
They don't smell all like to save up they.
-
Claim to be part of.
-
HOWELU praise the Lord. The smell of blood stays on
-
a person. The smell of smoke does too. If you
-
go around it, it will get on you. It will
-
attach itself to you, will it not?
-
Oh?
-
Yes, it does. The Bible said not to learn the
-
way of an ankle man.
-
Bless you learn his ways and get a snare to
-
your soul. You hop them with a charismatic preacher.
-
Long enough, you mensen Meyr in a mixed congregation. Long enough,
-
somebody's gonna have some world in offspring. Somebody's gonna have
-
some confused offspring. They're gonna lose what was a holiness church.
-
They're gonna lose what they did have as a holiness standard.
-
I'm telling you, when you come in to the company.
-
Of people and they spill like the world, they are
-
people of.
-
The world curing of something. Years ago, their preachers used
-
to preach like this.
-
They said words like this, They said statements and expressions
-
and praise us like this.
-
It looks like a duck. It been quacks like a duck.
-
That's like a duck.
-
It is a dunk.
-
You know why these people they're calling Christian soth In
-
the region of Antiocha, it has.
-
Been calling some they.
-
Were like christ.
-
It is not good for somebody left to stand up
-
and say he's my savior.
-
Then I can't even call myself a Christian.
-
I'm a sinner.
-
Oh no, you're not.
-
If you get to a self and then run you
-
up for jus the thing sack of.
-
Surrender that you will come out.
-
A satan enough a sinner. Hey, I preaching to you here,
-
and I why be a snail? I'm calling us, Why
-
be your lot?
-
I'm holding us because you can rubbing up again the
-
buck and you been running by this that solder he
-
help your savior.
-
Spell of go to stay with her?
-
A spell of smoke does two. If you go run
-
again on you, you're gonna smell like it. It will
-
attach itself to you.
-
Oh yes.
-
A young man starts listening to the country music. There's
-
a reason for that. A young man starts lip seeking.
-
They world the songs.
-
There's a reason for that. Somebody starts acting out of cancer.
-
There's a reason for that. Somebody starts visiting in a church,
-
it no longer promotes truth and lifeous listen, R.
-
There's a reason for that.
-
All the power of your puets.
-
If you're not careful, you'll get smoking your eyes, the
-
smoke of never connisser.
-
It was not in the eyes of the three he
-
rich sais I'm again a preacher.
-
They would definitely cast her into the fire. I've never
-
commissur that they did not have to smell. I've never conniser,
-
just keeping them. They learned the battlelgue. There's God.
-
Don't tell me.
-
I'm wanting to know you, to know if you ain't
-
talking right, that's because of men.
-
Talking till the wrong people.
-
Then we ain't out to right. That's just because you've
-
been around. They're not reinflaens. And I say they are
-
my creature to you to know it.
-
You go around, it's gonna get off on you. You
-
go around, it's gonna get off on you. You stand there,
-
it's gonna get off on you. I remember God convicting
-
me and dealing with me about where I stood while working. Unfortunately,
-
my boss.
-
Man, for some reason, I will never understand.
-
Declare that nobody should be playing music of any kind
-
where his men were working, even though there was some
-
imposed of presented arguments that they're better workers and keep
-
a better pace if they're listening to me music while
-
they work, and he said, no, I have a zero
-
music policy.
-
I believe that it is.
-
A distraction, he said, I believe if you're.
-
Thinking the duke and the give and the jig and
-
the clap and the patch on put, you're not thinking
-
about my production line, and you're not thinking about the.
-
Quality of my product. And as a boss man, I
-
can tell you that is the truth.
-
I've seen people before that were supposed to be production
-
oriented and production minded.
-
Gotta Jeremiah get distracted and.
-
Little clopp in the lawa land.
-
As they considered the lyric.
-
Oh, come on, it did.
-
At versing affect somebody, I said.
-
It did atversly affect somebody.
-
I can think of a crane operator who got caught
-
up in the middle of a tune, and while he
-
was caught up in the middle of a tune, he.
-
Swung a concrete column through the head of his cold worker.
-
I can think of a preacher who wanted to hear.
-
Himself so loudly and so clearly. One of was preaching
-
he put double monitor ear pieces in his ears, and
-
while he was preaching, Sister.
-
Woke gave out a message in tongues, and somebody was interpreting.
-
But nobody heard what the spirit said.
-
Because that preacher the soul of himself and so into himself.
-
I cann't wanna be a he was saying, but he
-
missed out and what God was saying. I'm telling you, I'm.
-
Not trying to be a popular preacher like the woman
-
A God said, I dwelled among my own, I found
-
out her.
-
I feel in, I feel in, and I came in
-
a God, and I let you know you want here,
-
And you were there.
-
Just giving him one a all, then you will.
-
Become exactly that you just lie comes positively, that per sad.
-
Go rally, it's gonna get off on you.
-
That woman on the job, it's always talking about romance novels,
-
that's full.
-
Of that spirit of lust. Be hanging out with her
-
long enough, it's gonna get off on you.
-
None of this was being playing that all to be
-
said when I was praying earlier today.
-
It could be that this was coming to mind the
-
same way it did when God spoke to me to
-
speak out against Chap.
-
G B two.
-
I don't know why some of this is being said.
-
But I'm bearing for me or your will the spirit of.
-
God, and I know the Spirit of God is leading
-
in God me along.
-
These lines right here tonight, Sister.
-
How would I can tell when someone has to be
-
with their favorite country start in their mind. I can
-
tell when they stood on the platform of their favorite
-
pop artists.
-
I can tell when they've been before their TV.
-
I can tell when they've been before their poking deities,
-
because the skill of the world is about them.
-
I've had to do some work in Orlando, Florida over
-
the years.
-
One time since the Howl, and I went.
-
To inspect the project. It was on the outskirts of Disney.
-
You could see the Magic Kingdom in the Future in
-
the distance.
-
And you know what, Mother Samuel, I saw these people
-
pouring out of Disney's parking lot, and I saw them convening.
-
I had another shopping plasm nearby. I don't understand why.
-
God cast me to see this.
-
When I saw it, to say the otherwise would ben
-
to tell a lion. But for some reason, God opened my.
-
Eyes and I saw pouringy rat faces on every seedle person,
-
the me and the women, the cheering.
-
They didn't have the rounded ohever, some warm and friendless
-
face a mickey mouse off.
-
They had these evil looking up pulling in rat faces
-
up with keeping.
-
Boapti sticking out.
-
And God said, the.
-
Spirit of the rat just on them, maybe some calling.
-
This person at the side of it would hang out.
-
In the magic.
-
Kingdom her mister susan and richery. Maybe the spirit a.
-
Stummy an adiqulity idology that.
-
It's not any Let's maybe the spirit.
-
A rich crow got off.
-
Don't them come on around.
-
I'm telling somebody that the look was there, the smell
-
was there. To see want to say, her Lord.
-
I can tell where they be.
-
He won't to cause you aware Micky years.
-
He won't be cause he had me to you any
-
mouse fight. So he won't because I had Meki.
-
No man can She wants to cause her on the
-
spirit and any influence there. I preach him, tell you
-
hear and lie.
-
You gotta be Carepaul's putter, you do, We're gonna be
-
careful and please follow you hang around, Shaid.
-
I keep preaching her shil and go look set the house. Peever,
-
before he prayed things through.
-
He was definitely capable of following it, being sit in
-
his week, because Jesus.
-
Went to him and set body, old Pal, I've been
-
praying for you, says, gonna get you if you ain't careful,
-
if you don't.
-
Watch you out. He said, I was warning you, and
-
I've been praying for you.
-
I pray for you.
-
That your faith fell, not that I prayed for you.
-
That's your faith fell, not Peter and.
-
Jesus went on.
-
But it wasn't too long after Peter denied it, brother Jess.
-
It up too long after that. Peter's over there warming
-
himself by the world's fire. He smelt like whatever kill
-
of morning it was they were burning.
-
He smelt like oak wood. If they were burning oak wood.
-
He smelt like heacrey wood, if they were burning heckory wood.
-
That they were burning olive wood, he smelled like olive wood.
-
You know what, Brother Jesse.
-
But after he prayed, and after he humbled himself and
-
he repented, he went out off into the distance. He
-
knelt down by himself, and the Bible said he wept bitterly.
-
He was early this morning when God started peace of.
-
This message together. And God let me know if they
-
will meet me in their wilderness, and if they will
-
weep barely, I will forgive him.
-
Then they will come up not smelling like the world's fire.
-
Then you know what happened to the apostle Peter. He
-
marched right on to the blood bat. He came out
-
squeaky clean.
-
He must from there into the upper room.
-
And while he was there, the.
-
Want the world stoked the tail. They want the world's file.
-
That nor the soul that he was, the man and
-
the holy yellow stuff reny crack that pay.
-
How must to you your kiss?
-
You swear it the worl's fire? There's a holey fire man.
-
You don't want to smell a lot pain, lots solace
-
was fire? The classic? How about it?
-
N can't me shot?
-
Can remember the what would it be? Never cons as
-
fire and a homely pie?
-
I must have been then.
-
For you of what tired are you?
-
Of?
-
Wh start bad?
-
This time?
-
I remember granted teens giving a testimony. She said her son,
-
I won't call his name. His daughter was one of
-
my high school friends. And she said, one time her
-
son come home.
-
He'd been living right, he had been doing right up
-
until a certain point, but he came home when not late,
-
and the old man brother Aaron, he's standing at the door,
-
and whenever the young man walked up on the steps,
-
the old man wasn't able to smell anything with his nostrils.
-
The old man wasn't able to detect anything at all
-
on this.
-
But the spirit of God spoke to the old man
-
to say the the words, boy, he spoke your first
-
ciarette tonight, didn't you?
-
And the young man knew better than a lie to
-
the prophet. The praying man then going to the man
-
of God that wasn't her pastor the man that had
-
a praying mama.
-
Or come on now, oh God in Heaven, I'm preaching
-
to you right here tonight.
-
I can tell it from a million miles away. I
-
can smell you from a million miles away.
-
The Bible said that when Peter got done denying Jesus,
-
he looked at Peter, and the Bible said that old
-
Peter he went and wept bitterly. We know find where
-
he was able to get an audience with Jesus. He
-
wasn't able to get in his ear, but he made
-
a connection with Jesus. I don't know if he was
-
ever given an opportunity to save to Jesus' face.
-
I'm sorry, but brother Jesse he'd got it done out
-
to on his knees and he prayed to you. I'm
-
telling you, I'm not wanting you to die in your sin.
-
I'm not wanting to be parallels and trespasses and seeing.
-
But what I am killing you.
-
You need another blood bath. You need to dip to
-
the rey red blood of.
-
Jesus and you need to pray unto him. That makes
-
all things do. When you need to get back.
-
To where your speech would change you that you are
-
a Christian. You need to get back to where you
-
can say Jesus. Ride where you can sing.
-
A holy bin, A ride where you just.
-
Say righteousness again. That's where you just say holiness again.
-
I tell you what's wrong with you?
-
You been warming yourself.
-
Oh Lord, your hands smells.
-
Not because you can train. That's an innocent one. I
-
want you to know there's no way to get rid
-
of that brand pottet.
-
When you need to do you wrong.
-
Why that if you.
-
Chose to do wrong, there is no escapeing you look
-
to you, you repeat, you can look truth in the eye.
-
What's someone the girl looks the towns, thins, the kneel,
-
that's where truth die for you. Let's come on the
-
truth up again. Somebody might have been touched you, somebody
-
might have persuaded you. The brother Sam I said it
-
right tonight. The man has drawn away. I was old us.
-
They enticed it come from within, It came from with them,
-
somebody that hangs around anger man until they become an
-
angry person.
-
They like that smell, I said, They like that smell. Oh,
-
I feel a hole that goes him this place. I
-
took my wife to the bath and body works there.
-
I believe it was a week and a half do
-
And when I walked in, it was so aromatic in
-
that place, and so fragrant I said.
-
What smell is that?
-
What am I spending? I can't tell what I'm spending?
-
And Brother Jesse, I had to get closer to decent,
-
and she was wanting me to smell in order to
-
smell the right sid.
-
Oh, come on, now, are you staying close enough to
-
Jesus that you really know right from wrong? Are you
-
stay close enough to Jesus that you really know what
-
he looks like, what he stands for, what he upholds.
-
Who I'm telling you, aaron, do what blood smelled like?
-
The wister the priests knew what blood smelled like.
-
Abraham's father to your right, was involved in idolatry. When
-
Abraham came out to and he left those people, he
-
left idolatry. But the one he could tell you about
-
the incense and the fragrances who are being offered to
-
pagan danities.
-
This is the hallwa And.
-
They started building his own alter, and he started offering
-
me his old man of the sacrifices.
-
And they're a little priest and the god let you.
-
You can tell Sarah my socle that smell ley, not
-
the scribes they're teeth about.
-
Let me that's my cause. Is good preacher. You don't
-
sell us, good preacher, the goodes adele.
-
That's not that's good.
-
Turn to the boy.
-
Love hold again stuff, not some old money gold.
-
O tell me why love the God who lead you were.
-
A smell like that.
-
You can smell the smell of blood on person. You
-
can spell the spell of fun and spoke on person.
-
Baba said about their men.
-
They marbled, and they took knowledge. Let the end of
-
day been with Jesus, and by hold the man which
-
was healed. Standing there with him, they can say nothing
-
against it, Brother Aaron Wood, we're not talking about the heathen.
-
We're not talking about the bleffard. We're not talking about
-
outcast of society. We're not talking about the bigger beggars.
-
And said, now, when they saw the boldness of Peter
-
and John and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men,
-
they marveled.
-
We're talking about.
-
Religious people, subscribes and Pharisees, high priest, brother Jesse.
-
They had a form of governess. They've been denied the power.
-
But while they're in.
-
There making their sacrificer for whatever all they're.
-
Doing in that templa, Peter and John's passing by a
-
damness called beautiful, and they build a spiritual power.
-
Their sister woed.
-
And you know what they told the beggar.
-
They set silver and God, have I done now as
-
such as I have to all thy was.
-
You don't have to be running two hundred, three hundreds
-
and five hundred days.
-
Time I tinue and move a God.
-
Sometimes don't move a God.
-
That is a clearing the woods.
-
That's where the piace that I'm telling you here and
-
not that that is where the piles.
-
And so when people say, what's the reason for James
-
and john Peter and Andrew, what's.
-
The reason for all this? What is the reason that
-
Peter and Johnny have get.
-
By with this?
-
We're able to do this. Hey, brother Philip has said,
-
I'm beholding the man that was healed. Come here, brother,
-
I want you to represent the apostle. My brother, I
-
will come here.
-
I want you to lay right here on that altar. Now,
-
so whenever you healed, you act like it, you show it.
-
All right, a miracle has just been pulformed. How are
-
you gonna act?
-
That's right?
-
Right?
-
Go water held the who made it?
-
Be aware?
-
I said that you may have be aware of.
-
The sister how life? They said, these sides are calling.
-
Here there they can't.
-
Believe, but they were raised today the friends home hold
-
the center of the heel.
-
They shall take out sec He ain't talking about up
-
and stake canding God, what side the cabin?
-
He not talking about type of candle in the day.
-
Yeah, if I said up and give.
-
It into the hand and put.
-
That out the cause of the holden there there.
-
Pun a constant people, It's spring in the party. They
-
have an evidential hot boos. They are the services.
-
They're laving it.
-
They running a holidays.
-
They could say anything if to apostle sister, how the
-
calls son, tell me against the son of God.
-
He was the cause of it.
-
I'll tell you why they treat you, bring down the
-
pony up to the never kiss fine. It's because who
-
they were hanging out with.
-
It doesn't matter if you're living in a Babylon. It
-
doesn't matter if you're going to the trial and bbylone.
-
It doesn't matter if you're.
-
Being promoted by God and ba Bylah, if you're going
-
to the moon and Polly partisan not best matter.
-
It's where you're going through it all. He is, he
-
is lives you. That's what I rest in you. You're
-
not here, David said, Ah, you'll fear no either. He
-
calls He's with me.
-
No, you don't want a separate then that ten sons
-
win it too.
-
The battle every ang with no one that's li He
-
calls us to do it.
-
He met never a bally.
-
My sad because my tar the must have said, you
-
can hang the Saul.
-
They still have a spir lock hatard.
-
You can hang with a formerly a knight and preacher
-
and still the spill of Haward.
-
But you hate We're gonna Jesus on the back side
-
of the sheep bowl. You hate, We're gonna Jesus had
-
a little lamb.
-
They rot the.
-
Twenty third song. Then comes a bear, It comes alight.
-
They're child, you're able to hand it.
-
With us two hands.
-
Somebody said recently, my brother Nathaniel. They say when it
-
gets annoyed them sounds almost mean. I listen twenty the night.
-
I said, man, that is a misjudgment. That is a misjudgment. Good.
-
They mistake the annoying to upon a preacher.
-
And yet they go to their venues and pay top
-
dollar for a seat in that venue to see somebody
-
get upset, to see somebody scream.
-
There's somebody to holler. Where they go into a football arena.
-
Then they come up in the sen and I sit
-
there and the scream to a vus.
-
And come on do They come to a hold in the.
-
Church, and they act that they.
-
Don't understand since the I was we get excited. They
-
don't understand, since.
-
The jack you walk for taking a lack.
-
They act act they they understand. Probably keep your mind
-
something up and down.
-
I'll tell you. Hey, that's who they've been with. I said,
-
I don't understand it.
-
Let's get better.
-
Been with my Jesus, I said, I don't know.
-
Fuck I do.
-
Somebody said, pro tell.
-
Me about Jesus.
-
Christ was a pretecostal talk the.
-
Preacher through scripture. I said, well, he definitely was.
-
It's the baptizer, I said, he slow watching praise the Lord.
-
But everybody he ever touched, they went away walking.
-
They late that they're praising God, they're elevating the voice
-
ever n ever touch.
-
It's pentecostal and factor. Whenever he baptized with the Holy
-
ghost and fire like. John prophesied, what happened? They all
-
appeared to be drunk men. They was stung it away
-
hit the presence hother Lord. They're mistake of Lord and
-
preach it from me and preaching.
-
You just don't know what he is. I don't understand
-
your pretty good count gets small talking because when you a.
-
Preacher, you're a precert If you have got it, you
-
got it. If you never love a power, everybody knows it.
-
He's small watching even been in the pocossy. You don't
-
like that's anos and plays.
-
He just sell it touches.
-
Everybody knows that.
-
I don't understand him.
-
I don't understand that his choir. I don't understand their worship.
-
I don't understand their place. Paw ma'am, sissy bummy, don't
-
come to heaven. Then the cause when we get there,
-
the one that.
-
Made them appear to the people that.
-
Didn't understand as they weren't drunk down, the one that
-
made the cripple rode, the one that made.
-
The dumb man shout, the one that made w you
-
bind your eyes and holding amazement and barco.
-
He's gonna be a cral thing and a scil figure
-
to the party.
-
I'm telling you, Pacosta's still in styling.
-
I stepped in a costal lessips. I already stand in styling.
-
Hold I preach, you don't preach what tive you men
-
at Bethel Day. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
-
Come on, I'm sorry. You can learn the ways I'm
-
not shouting.
-
You can learn the ways I preach a fag. You
-
can learn the way I wonder, do you want to
-
learn to ask for me?
-
It's using the Bible way. No way stout preaching.
-
To you here tonight I just put your game with
-
here a lot, he say, a lot, and doting know.
-
Now, let's take a smell a lot touch this.
-
Old sister.
-
Look, I'm telling you, they don't understand your worship Jesus does,
-
just a hod.
-
They don't understand your worship Jesus does.
-
They don't understand whether the thing you're.
-
Playing, that guitar as mightily, that's skillfully before the laity.
-
They wouldn't understood that night either.
-
That's the Holy Good spoke to brother Jesse and said,
-
you're already a great accomplished church pianist.
-
I'm gonna scale you up and level you up. I
-
remember thinking, now, how couldn't get any better? I've been
-
and I went and I said with him, one week's time, somehow.
-
It got better.
-
You don't know what the Holiness did.
-
He also warned Jesse on a curse with the blessing.
-
He said, if you ever played professionally, I will not
-
be pleased.
-
We read between the lines, and what that means says
-
you're trying to heal off the meds.
-
Maybe more, Jesse, don't ever play without the annoying No,
-
don't ever play without here.
-
Oh my god, I can't have it.
-
Now, there's no too must preacher say that would ask
-
me to preach for them?
-
But you know why, because my Savior ain't there. It
-
stafly I pay to each.
-
They don't want to be enough proper.
-
You ever see two young men on character trips attempt
-
to build two different fires.
-
One of them it just says, mine's better than yours.
-
Mine's burning by and broader than yours. Mine's better than yours.
-
A sister, how it takes a really silly chant to
-
sit out there where one is barely flickering.
-
Oh, come on, and flooding.
-
You know, someone's got to blaze the fire. Even Peter
-
at least tried to get close to the fire.
-
They come in.
-
You carry this scient Bethel.
-
I can tell you know why, because when we started
-
with four, we made sure Jesus would be the most
-
of toward a person in Miss gild it En.
-
Didn't matter if we went through persecution. We went with
-
his sing the Madison wents in a dess.
-
We went with him. Then we went to the wilderness,
-
and we been there. We went with Hi. Then we
-
live in the parmis Land.
-
We went with him. Who come old Joseph, Whether you're
-
in the prince or or in the palace, let's longess.
-
Room with him on us.
-
There are things that the old table.
-
I said you ought to carry. Just see her come.
-
Whether you're in the Prince and are in the palace, I.
-
Feel like saying this as we close. You don't have
-
to advertise how holy you are when you've done with him,
-
because he's holy and he will make you holy. O God,
-
let's stand right. I just got the holy ghost taking
-
him out. Sister Howell doesn't have to where a dang
-
plate across turned back that says I'm holy.
-
Because of who she runs with. He keeps a holding,
-
because of whose books she reads. It keeps a holding
-
because of whom she loves. It keeps a holding because
-
of where her heart is. It keeps a holy.
-
Holy Jesus.
-
But the thing is, what are you say when you've
-
got a lame man running around who hollered and saying,
-
glory to God, I've been healed.
-
They said that was their opinion. These are ignorant, unlearned men.
-
And when you read the writings of John and Peter,
-
you can tell they were not ignorant, unlearned men.
-
When you read the story about Moses.
-
You could tell that he felt like he didn't have
-
all the answers, and that he wasn't well spoken. But
-
then Luke the glove the physicians stated that there was
-
hardly a more educated.
-
Man amongst This man was mighty and word.
-
Indeed, it's thedas of the humility of God's people, Heave
-
and John.
-
They knew the Bible. They knew the Bible. They knew
-
the law if you would, they knew the law of Moses.
-
They knew what it was said about the sacrificial offerings,
-
the ceremonial things and feast days. They knew what the
-
Bible said. They knew Brother Jesse, That's why he called
-
him a postle.
-
Paul knew. He studied at the feed of them. He knew,
-
he knew, he knew, And I said it recently, says
-
the how I told. The woman got home. She said, honey,
-
that was wonderful. That's powerful, she said.
-
When you pointed out that when Paul went to preach,
-
people belittled him because of his outward appearance.
-
Well, when they read his writings, they said, man, this
-
guy's a great preacher. He's a great writer. Look at
-
these Pauline epistles. That's powerful. This fan's annoying.
-
But she said, you want him to point out that
-
when the little man was working for the religion of
-
Judaism and the hierarchy in Judaism, he reaped tab it.
-
He turned the place upside down. Nobody wanted him to
-
show up in their town. It's bout like Joseph Biden
-
knew Abeth. Nobody wants him to show.
-
Interesting that when Paul was living in disobedience, nobody wanted
-
him coming to the house. They scared his death. Where
-
the will They scared stiff. You know why because he
-
had the stitch and the smell of hypocrisy on him.
-
You know why else because he had the sin and
-
the smell of death of disciples on his hands. He
-
had to sit in a Roman the spell of death.
-
He had letters in his hands as to how that
-
represented death.
-
To all Christians. But then once he started carrying the
-
words of Jesus, they acted like, there's nothing to it.
-
That preacher sounds mad, But he's preaching Brother the thing
-
that is.
-
That's the craziest and the most idiotic statement I've ever
-
heard in my life.
-
Anybody that knows Brother the Thing who knows him to
-
be one of the most jovial, happy people in the world.
-
Somebody fought was accused one of the ministers in his
-
church not long Agoy and I came to their defense.
-
I said, listen, I don't care what you've heard. I said,
-
I have lived with that person in church. It's not
-
one of my sons. I said, I've been to throw
-
them through the thicket. Then I've watched them be tested
-
in the fire. I've watched them be tried, and they
-
have proven true.
-
I said, you have totally one hundred percent misjudged you
-
and false accused them. People would accuse a post of
-
Paul are being a self validator and a self promoter.
-
He even one time said.
-
I know I speak of the pot I'm having to
-
prove to you, and she can do it. They can't
-
stand it when you represent what can be and what
-
should be.
-
They can't stand it with.
-
Somebody that is living right because they've been with their
-
master and been with a buck comes in their company.
-
Let me share this before we pray, because I'm doing
-
what the holicos said.
-
And I've given all the goods.
-
There was a woman that visited our church for a
-
little law, and she said, while she was here, she
-
realized she wasn't living to the standard of the Bible.
-
And she said, all them other churches that I had
-
been attending for years, I was the standard. I was
-
living better than anybody in that building, all these different churches.
-
I was the standard. I was the charity hovel. I
-
was the Irish rooting of the church. She said.
-
But when I got here and I saw Kathy Roadecap,
-
I saw Hannah Harmible, I saw Crystal Harris, I saw
-
Lauren knew It. I saw Tracy Edwards, I saw a
-
Danny Edwards. I saw Justin rope Cat. When I looked around,
-
I realized, I'm not the standard.
-
These people have been in the book. These people have
-
been under preaching. These people have been under teaching, They've
-
been in their prayer closets. And she realized, I need
-
to increase. I need to grow in knowledge.
-
I need to step up. I need to you better
-
in time.
-
Rather than doing right, rather than warming herself by the
-
word the Lord's fire, she took some of.
-
Our young people to her house and introduced them to TV,
-
to movies. She introduced them to.
-
Certain things involving beauty and cosmetics.
-
She planted some seeds that I had to dig out.
-
I cared for I reached the love of God, and
-
in time I realized she just wasn't gonna get it,
-
says to how because she wanted.
-
To dwell with the wrong people. She didn't want them
-
to be a person of the book. So she decided
-
to leave with her.
-
She took her family. A young man is new to
-
this church. He told me some heartbreaking, devastating news.
-
Even though they progressed in their religion, even though they
-
seemed to achieve status, it's after they left here, he said.
-
The marriage begin to go through turmoil.
-
The marriage ship hit blocks. But the truth is, if
-
you got Jesus, you can survive the storm. But if
-
you give up the ship, and if you get off
-
the ship. We're rolling into convention right now. The theme
-
of the meeting is don't give up to ship. I
-
said them priests came home with a spell of blood.
-
I can tell when they've been in the blood bath.
-
I can tell, sister move when they've been washed clean.
-
I can tell when they've been in this presence. I
-
can tell when the aroma in the atmosphere it is pleasure.
-
When the youth choirer was singing tonight, and when the
-
congregational singing.
-
Was going on, there was so much annoying, so much
-
spoil to die, I literally wondered to myself, is this
-
how Heaven's been around death long enough? You're gonna die?
-
You hang around in the world.
-
The churches and told themselves, holding us with kind of
-
cause you gonna die.
-
You ain't cut the food on your hand, on my feet,
-
come my.
-
Fe he nothing.
-
Said, I'm not come out from among the world and
-
be separated. I told you not to touch the unclean thing.
-
I received those who refuse to touch the unclean thing,
-
those who refused to partake of the things of this world.
-
Why do they love the world? Why they love the
-
spirit of the world? I said, not to love it.
-
The stitch of this world comes up before my nostrils, and.
-
It's a stitch.
-
Their ways are a stitch, soma. The bar was a stitch.
-
Their sins were a stitch. So I've burned it with
-
fire that smelled better than their sins. The aroma from
-
hell will smell better than the sins of mankind. I
-
say to thee to not repent while there's time fall
-
upon my altar and.
-
Be broken to not say the Lord, and even now
-
reminded what the thing was said all of that, there's
-

If you live in right, the world can't say anything

-
And if he hasn't done it, it's because he's not
