of the Lord right there with you all they been,

and worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

I feel like God's got something for us here tonight. Amen.

Went Monday night for Monday evening, I guess I began

to pray there in my bedroom.

Amen, and the Lord Lady, this here on my heart. Amen.

I just want to do my best to to liver

my heart to you.

Oh Amen.

Amen. Exit is the thirteenth chapter. Exit is the thirteenth chapter.

Here tonight we'll be verse number twenty one and twenty two.

Ay, then, and then we'll skip down just a little

bit here. Fourteenth chapter, Amen, Ectuly this chapter.

Number thirteen, Verse number twenty one.

The Lord went before them by day in a pillar

of a cloud to lead them the way, and by

night in a pillar of fire to give him like

to go.

By day and night. He took night away the pillar

of the cloud by day.

Nor the pillar of fire by night.

Pay attention right here, from before the people, from before

the people, Amen, Chapter number fourteen of the same book. Amen,

Chapter number fourteen of the same book, Verse number nineteen.

And the Angel of the Lord, which went before the

camp of Israel, we removed and went behind them. And

the pillar of the cloud went from before their face.

You remember that, from before their.

Face and stood behind them. And it came between the

camp of Egyptians and the camp of Israel.

And it was a cloud and darkness to.

Them, meaning Pharaoh.

Amen.

In the armies of the Egyptians. It was a cloud

and darkness to them, but it gave light by night

to these, meaning the children of God, so that the

one came not near the other all night. A man

with the Lord's help here for just a little while tonight,

I want to preach a little thought that he gave

me in prayer. When God changes sides, Amen, when God

change his side, would you lift your hands to heaven

and ask.

God to help us. Lord, We thank you.

So much for your goodness and your vers and for

your grace and your kindness and all that you've done

for each and every one of us. God, we thank

you for God, for all that you have done. We

thank you for this opportunity to come into your house

and into your presence.

God.

We have definitely felt in the hand of God, and

we felt the wind of this spirit in this place. God,

and we ask that you would come now once again.

God.

We know you're right here still. God.

And what you bless your word or what you help

us God to deliver? Only what you would have us

to say, God, nothing more, nothing less, and not the

ears of the people.

And what your word I pray, We'll give you glory,

We have read here a few verses of a very

familiar story that is recorded in the Holy Bible.

This account has been recited by generations and is a

testament to those who may feel as though they have

come to a dead end that God retains the power

to make away when.

looked to this story and to this account for faith

and for whop to believe that whenever they look like

they could go no farther than.

number sixteen, he remembers him as the Lord which making

a way in the sea, at a path in the

mighty waters. Isaiah is pointing us once.

Again to the mighty thing that God had done. Amen.

Back in the book of Exodus, Amen, before Stephen is

executed in.

His sermon to the Hypocrites.

Amen to the inserment to the Jewish hypocrites, a man

that had refused Jesus and his sermon, as he pointed

them back to the cross.

And he pointed them back and say, look, this was

the man In that sermon.

He also invokes the memory of the Red Sea crossing.

Amen.

Paul reminds the Corinthians of the of the amazing ability

of God.

In chapter number ten and verse number one.

Paul reminds the Corinthians of the Red Sea and held,

God move.

For the children of Angel. So and many today in

online time, how many here has heard this passage preached

in church?

Amen.

Men of God in this day and hour.

Still point us back. Amen, whenever people feel like they've

got no hope. Amen, Just as they did back there,

they do today.

Amen. And I believe that God God still has a

plan for his word. Amen.

Throughout the ages, the memory of this notable event has

never failed to bolster the faith and encourage many that

God retains the ability to lead his people where they

should go.

They man. Many have looked to this account whenever they

felt like that they had nowhere.

Else to go, when they felt like they were all

out of news, They man.

They can look back to this account a man and

realize that the God.

Still preserves the ability to deliver despite the facts of life,

or even what others may say or what others may do.

In the first verse of chapter number fourteen of the

Book of Exodist, God speaks to a man, the man

he ever fails throughout time that God has spoken to man,

though they are unworthy.

God will speak to a man, and he will not

always speak to the people.

Amen.

God didn't talk to the whole congregation of Israel at

this time.

Amen. God spoke directly to Moses.

The Bible says, and the Lord spake unto Moses, saying.

Amen, God speaks to this man. Amen. This man is.

Chosen of God to deliver his people from slavery and

to lead them to a land of freedom.

Amen.

Freedom to live, freedom to worship, and freedom to heal.

Amen.

I read recently.

The book of a short little book on Frederick Douglas.

Amen. And he was a slave, He was born into slavery.

And in that book he.

Goes into depth, Amen, about the things that the slaves

would face.

And it will just it will bother your mind. Amen.

Have the things that these slaves went through.

Amen.

I've shared a few of the stories.

So Moses is God's man to bring the children of

Israel out of the place of slavery. Amen, and give

them a chance to heal. The nation of Israel had

been slaves, scholars believe between four hundred to four hundred

and thirty years.

Amen.

So all of these people that make this exodus with

the men of God, all of these people that leave slavery, Amen.

They were born into it. Frederick Douglas said he was

born into it. He said he was never.

Taught how to read.

He taught himself. He was never mind, he was never

taught right, he called himself. He said he never knew

his real birthday.

Amen.

Because his mother didn't know how to read, his father

didn't know how to read. He was he was so

deprived of so many things because he was born into slavery.

Amen. It was many, many years before Frederick Douglas could

even take a guess at how old he was.

Amen.

So they knew nothing. These people knew nothing but slavery. Amen.

They had the scars from slavery. Amen.

And many of them, as they grew up, they would

see a scar and they never knew what that scar

was from, because it happened when they were so young

that they don't remember it.

No more. But they were born, Amen.

They lived from live, from the little children up into

their adulthood.

With scars that they didn't know how they got. Amen.

Mind and dead are tell them the stories, Amen.

And then they were start to begin to remember the

scars and why they received it. They knew nothing of it.

All they knew is that they had scars. All they

knew is that they were born into slavery.

All they knew is that where they were coming to

was a place that they could not leave. Dads and

moms only.

Knew their children with scars of slavery. Children only remembered

their parents with the scars of slavery. Little Johnny and

little Susane never see their mother without a scar from

the whimp of the Egyptian taskmasters. They never knew what

it was like to live free. They were born into slavery.

They were no doubt scarred.

Physically from the whip of the Egyptian taskmasters. They were

also scarred mentally from the toil of slavery. Frederick Douglass

talks about how it would Tavin Pall on his mind.

He said slavery was almost worse on his mind than

it was his body. These people had to fight. And

I read this book. Amen, before I knew I was gonna.

Be preaching this, it was just it was amazing to me.

As I was studying, I realized they been to this

book that I found that goodwill.

Ayman that I had begun to read was I I

could pull a little bit of it. I'm not gonna

tell them a lot, but he talked about the strain

ain't done, the mental strain.

That slavery had dealt to him.

Every day they lived, they lived with hatred in their heart.

Every day they lived, they felt anger towards the castmasters

they been. Every day they lived, they hated the man.

They would lay the whip to their mother. Every day

they lived, they hated the man. They would lay the whip.

To their father.

But God center man that that situation needed to change.

Amen. God raised up with man that we know is Moses,

and he had an encounter with God. And when he

left that place, he had a burden.

For the mistreated. Moses had a burden for the abused. Amen.

The things that he had seen go on as he

was raised.

Up in the house of Pharaoh, He's seen that he

God changed his heart, and he was one man that

fell like going into Pharaoh's court.

It was one man that felt like it was worth

fighting for some slaves.

Amen.

Moses was a man that felt a heart to fight

for the abuse, the heart to fight for the mistreated. Amen,

they may the ones that had been tortured.

By the whip of the enemy. A man Moses felt

as though it was his duty.

He felt as though it was his calling to rescue

the suffering. We no one else seemed to pay any

attention for four hundred years. We no one else had

called a burden for four hundred years for these people

that were being abused, for these slaves that do nothing

by slavery. No one else felt a call, no one

else fell a little touchdown in.

Their heart to fight for these people.

No one seemed to pay any attention to the little

Hebrew babies crying.

Nobody seemed to pay the.

Attention for four hundred years of the Hebrew mamas and

daddies that were crying and dealing with things in their

bodies and in their minds that no one seemed to understand.

Amen, God sent a man named Moses that cared enough

to stand. Hey, man, he cared.

Enough to stand in the corner Pharaoh and.

To speak out for what was right.

Despite the possible consequences. They man and people like to

crucify the man of God. Ay man, people like to

say things about the Man of God. That will look

dare to say something a.

Man the man of God.

They looked there to enter into the corner Pharaoh and

actually try to say something to help someone. No one

else would do it, no one else had the heart

to do it. But Moses thought sent a man that

cared enough to walk in the court. They managed and

risked his life.

Because sweep on behalf of the Amen.

Moses care enough to walk down the halls of the

palace and said, Pharaoh, I know you have a power

to bind me up.

I know you have the power to overrun me with

all of those taskmasters. But oh dared to staring in you,

how dared to stand up for you? And I'll say

what needs to be said.

A man is tired to some people give Moses the

credit that he deserved.

Here's time that some.

People will appreciate the back God. They will dare could

walk into that place.

And say what needs to be.

and for lost daddies.

to where they will know these foundational truths of the Bible. God,

that a man like Moses would have risked his life

the plague and how much how far God really had

to go.

And then finally the strawl that broke the camel's back

was the passover.

Amen, where God God took out.

The oldest of the beasts and the oldest of the.

People.

Imagine with me as the moms and the dadds. Amen,

they're just smiling from here to here. Because I never

knew my.

Children would feel such freedom. I never would see this,

this smile on my mama's face.

I would never see the freedom chloe her countenance.

But because somebody dared to stand up, because somebody dared

to walk into the court.

Amen, Now I see.

This, and I recognize that we have finally, we've obtained freedom.

Aymen are so excited as they go out, Amen, and

as they leave this as they leave this town there Amen, smiling,

no doubt, happy, no doubt.

Amen.

What I want you to realize is when they lift

their head up, we read it in our text. When

they lift their head up, what they see is the

glory of God. What they see is a pillar of God,

a pillar of a cloud.

Amen. And this would serve as their guide.

This cloud would be a guide to these slaves, Amen,

that were no longer slaves but yet free men.

Amen, The cloud of God's.

Glory would lead them every step of the way, Amen.

In a cloud by day and a fire by night.

That's in this chapter number thirteen and twenty two says

He took not away the pillar of the cloud by

the day, nor the pillar of fire by night.

From before the people ain'tmen every day that they walk, Amen,

every day that.

They walk, every minute, every hour, every second that they walk.

This path after escaping, the.

Cloud of a God was before them.

All they had to do was step in line with

the cloud. If the cloud move left, well I gotta

move left. The cloud took that turn, then.

I gotta take this turn. All they had to do

was follow the cloud by day and the.

Fire by night. They man. God let them out, Amen,

God let them out.

All they had.

To do was fallow.

How comforting it must have been to realize to realize

the cloud of God's direction was right in front of you, Amen,

to realize.

That all I've gotta do is follow.

This thing that God has prepared for me. If they

need a direction, just look up. If you need to

go nowhere to go, just look up. If you need

assurance that.

You're in the right way, If you need assurance at

your steps are still on the right path.

Just look d then make sure you're still in line

with the cloud. Just look up and make sure you're

still in line with the glory. It's not hard to

see God's direction. It's not hard to see where God

wants us to go. When we're looking in the right place.

Ay man. If we're looking ahead of us, ay man.

If we're looking to where we know the glory of

God is, ay man.

The cloud was always before them, it was always in

front of them.

They knew where the cloud was. All they had to

do was look to the cloud.

God's direction will stand the test of time. How many

of y'all have seen a cloud stay the same for

a couple of hours, Hey don't. The cloud will be

here one minute and then partly gonna stay there and

partly to be over here.

Clouds don't stay. When the wind blows, the cloud blows,

they man. When the wind blows, the clouds form changes.

They man.

I seen jumps, they man, And then I've seen cats,

they man.

I just see blows. If if you.

See something in the clouds, everybody knows. I better get

my phone quick because.

It's not gonna laughs. I better take a pitcher quick,

or people will never believe what I've seen in the cloud.

They but this cloud never said, this cloud never changed shape. Amen,

Gods director your seal aside, what come back? Man still

takes today.

The way, don't it?

Theirs get still theirs today? You know how to seal

a second?

The ay, God just steal a siding that was going

to found That didn't change him, that was going to

chaund That didn't matter which way the wind was gone.

The only thing gonna think that this cloud was the

wind of God. He made the spirit win. Amen, Goth

direction will stand the test of time. Every time they

looked for it, it was still a pillar. Every time

they served her direction. He was still a man. It

was a pillar with grandfather got it. It was a pillar. Guy,

he got it.

He'll be a kill.

You couldn't.

In your town to and all. What we need to

do is follow the glory of God, follow the cloud

of God. God.

Where did this cloud lead these books? Where did the

glory of God lead these people? I read something in

the Bible and I had to look it up in

strongs And this is a side note, but it said

they went out harnessed children of Asia, went out for

children of Israel left eye of hardest.

I said, what does that mean? Because there ain't hardness

I know of. Amen. It pretty much puts you into slavery. Amen.

Your harness a mule or something, and they're pretty subject

to what you wanted to do. So why would the

children of israelieve Egypt hardest?

Amen? And when I read it strong and I've just

slip my mind and every in my nose.

Amen, buddy, they left out strong, and they left out

well able, and they left out in everything they needed

to get to their dog morning on the cold. Amen,

when you walk out of Egypt, when you leave that

place that has you bow.

And you know your bell and you bought the guitars

to show that your man.

When you walk out of that place according to Dark's will,

and you begin.

To follow the glory cloud.

When you begin to follow the pillar, you the hardest,

with power.

To fight the enemy, power to stay the test of time.

Hey, ma'am, let me tell you here tonight where the

pillar of the cloud let it the direction and the

guidance of the cloud left them somewhere that when the

children of Israel got.

Their eyes off the cloud.

And they looked around, they realized all of a sudden,

we're at of that end. We're gonna nowhere to go.

spake up to Moses, and I'm gonna mess myself up

with these words.

The Lord spake on to Moses, say speak unto the

children of Israel, that they.

Turn in camp before pihah.

For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, they

are entangled in the land. The wilderness has shucked them

in right. I thought I was following the.

Glory of garden, and the cloud led me to the

edge of the sea with nowhere else to go. They man,

the children of Israel stopped looking at the cloud because

by this time Pharaoh has second thoughts, and by this

time he's got his chariots, they man, and he's got

his warriors, and they've lit out after the children of Israel,

and they said, we'll bring it back.

So by this time Pharaoh is fight on their heels.

But we're following the cloud, and now it seems like

we'red dead in Now it seems right We've.

Got nowhere farther to go. And the children of Israel

looked behind them. And when they looked behind.

And said they seen Pharaoh, they seen the chariots and

the horsemen. Amen, and they thought, what are we gonna do?

Amen? I was following the cloud. I was in the

planet of God. But this was all God's plan. It

was God's planing.

To the nakel hide and to the human eye, it

looked like a dead end. When Pharaoh saw where God

had led his people, he thought they had made a

big mistake. Anybody ever thought you made a big mistake? Amen,

People ever looked at you and said, look at them.

They thought they were following God. Now look at him.

Now they had a dad in, and now they gon't

nowhere to go. What a fool y'all made a mistake.

You were following that cloud, and now you've had a

dad in. Look at you. I don't care what Pharaoh said.

I don't care if Pharaoh thinks that we're in tangled. Hey, man,

I don't care what some naysay or says. That word

entangled a man.

It means twisted together in a confused manner. Pharaoh thought

they were twisted together in a confused manner out in

the wilderness. You were following that cloud, were you, Well,

now you're just all confused. You were following that cloud,

were you well, now you're just all twisted up, ain't

you No, I'm not twisted up, that's what you think.

God knew you would take that way. God led the

children of.

Visual this way simply because of the fact that Pharaoh

would think that way. Simply because Pharaoh, when he realized

and he thought he had a if farah, if they

were long gone freya, knew he had no chance.

He would have never went after him. Going to play

deliverance can seem awfully off theme sometimes, can't It.

Ain't that If Pharaoh thought he stood no chance, I

highly doubt he ever would up sattled the terrier. But

whenever he realized where God was leading them, and it

was all part of the plan of God, then he said,

they're gonna get down there. I know the way that

I know this area better than anybody. The Bible says

the children of Israel didn't know this area. There was

another way that the Bible says was shorter to go.

But he knew whenever they came up to this place

to fight.

With these people, that they would turn back.

And they would run back to Egypt because they would

be scared of the war.

They would be scared of the of the fight.

God knew that, so he directs them this way for

multiple reasons. One because they wouldn't run back to Pharaoh,

and number two because Pharaoh would run after them.

Amen the Bible. Amen, it's in the Bible. From Pharaoh's

point of view, they had made a big mistake. He said,

they were all confused, and they didn't know what they

were doing. They didn't know where they were going. They

were just they were just like a y'all want to

hurt this. They were like a chicken with no head. Amen.

I mean, if y'all see that, y'all see them chicken

with no hood. They's kind of footy and sad at

the same time. Man, But that's what they were like.

That's what Farah saw them house. Pharaoh saw them mouse

confused and not knowing up from down to I know

it left or right. And he said, I've got him down.

But let them carl us crazy, let them call us confuse.

They made baby.

People will say that we're just making a mistake, just

like Pharaoh did.

Amen.

Maybe people will say we don't know what we're doing,

just like Clara did.

Maybe people will say we're crazy for following the cloud,

just like Clara did.

Amen.

People can say what they will, they can think what

they think. They can say we're twifted and all confused

out in the wilderness.

Amen.

But that's what Pharaoh thought.

We are never making a mistake when we follow the cloud.

We are never making a mistake when.

We follow the glory of God a man.

The truth is, there's some here tonight at this service

that you've witnessed the Cloud.

Of God points you in a direction. Amen.

The spirit of God has knocked on your heart, and

the glory of God has appeared before you, and that

pillar has appeared before you.

And it's a chance to step out of Egypt, and

it just chance to step out of bondage. Amen. In

Godness laid this plan out for you that you leaves

a man. That's our captivity. Have you follow the cloud

of God?

Amen?

What would have happened if these people had not followed

the cloud. It don't matter how it looks or if

it makes sense to us. When the cloud is showing

us the way, When the glory of God is before us,

and we know it's the glory of God, and we

know it's the plan of God.

If we care.

About those around us, and if we care about those

little children, they men in those moms and those dads

that were raised in slavery.

They men that don't know the freedom of God.

If we know what's good for them, and if we

care about them, when we see the glory of God,

when we see the guidance in the direction of God,

we will walk out of Egypt for the sake of

our children, for the sake of our families.

That they do not far enough us right across.

The back, that they care not to live with the

Taskmaster again. Frederick Douglas said his wife involved around escaping.

He said, every minute of his life he was looking

for an opportunity to walk out of that plantation God

just for him, for those around him.

He tried once and his plan was foiled. Amen. He

had learned to write, so that everybody knew. Slaves didn't

know how to write. They didn't know how to read

or write, so he would.

He had forged signatures from his master saying that he

was on a journey for him and whenever he was approached,

he would pull that snoop out. My master said, give

you this. What does this say? He wrote it, but

he acted like he didn't.

Amen.

Every minute from learning to read and learned to write,

was on focus on getting out of here.

Amen. It was all focus on getting to a better labor.

Those around me, those following me can witness free them

that I can at.

Treble you something, aymen, that I can attribute something to

their freedom. And the people in the crowd felt like

golden and camping by the sea was the wrong move.

The children of Israel. Whenever they realized.

That was hot on their truth, on their on their

their their trail, they said, man, we should have stayed.

In fact, they said, Moses, we told you just let

us stay.

Fredrick Duglas said, there was many like that.

They they had grown so accustomed to slavery that they

had no will to escape.

He was just they got food, they.

Got somewhere to sleep, and they worked son up to sundow,

cold or hot. It was just their norm.

It was their way of life. Amen.

So these people had told Moses, you should have just

left us. Pharaoh's gonna give us anyways, They were not

privy to the plan of God. All they were to.

Do was follow the cloud of God. Amen. Amen.

In verse number ten, chapter number fourteen, Pharaoh has overtook them.

And they have nowhere to go. They have nowhere to turn.

They were at a dead end with a cloud before them.

I'm following the cloud God. Now I'm at a dead end.

Now I don't see nowhere else to go. I'm following

your will. I'm following your plan.

Amen.

I've stepped out in faith. Amen, for the sake of

my children, for the sake of my family.

Now what.

Not too long tonight? They don't know where to go.

They don't know what to do right, Amen. They began

to lose hope. They began to lose their grip on hope.

Some here tonight they feel like the enemy is close

by and your mind is under attack. You may feel

like that your family is fighting a battle like they've

never had before.

And what you need is.

A safe place just to shut it all off and rest, Amen,

Just a safe place from from the storm and from

the traveler. I'm sure these these people were weren't help.

They had been enslave and in bondage for many years.

And although I'm sure that that they're stem enough. Amen

had grew and they were able to somewhat keep up

with the peace of the taskmasters.

But when a task master.

Would realize that they had more to give, they would

just beat up all the more harder. So they were

forced every day to give all that they had. So

they were worn out.

They had no more to go. Amen, they were give out.

They had walked.

I believe it was about twelve miles from Egypt to

the Red Sea. If I could be wrong, if I

memory serves be right, it was roughly that. They don't

know exactly where they crossed at the Red Sea book

from the scriptures that it's been Amen just looked at Amen.

So they possibly put in a day's word they Man.

I don't know what time if they Amen, they left out,

but Egypt, they had several miles to go, and when

they get to where they're supposed to go, after walking

through this wilderness, after walking through the through this desert,

they find themselves with nowhere to go, and they feel.

Like that they're they're they're, they're they're their.

Their escape has been in vain because now Pharaoh is

closing in. Pharaoh has overtook them. Amen, and I believe

that they were weary from the the trick that they

had made.

Amen. And I really believe that there's people in this.

World then are weary from the fight.

Amen.

They're weary from traveling this wilderness with no direction. They ain't.

They're weary from just wandering from place to place.

Amen.

And there's times in your life that you feel like

the wondering is over.

And you've got nowhere else to go.

And now you're out of that end, and your heart

longs for rest and your mind longs for peace because

you've been fighting the battles of slavery.

You've been fighting the battle. Amen. If I can't help this,

they man, I don't want to do this, but I'm

fighting this battle. Be call the flood. The cares of

life can weigh heavy on a family. Pastor wants priest

a message titled.

Come Apart or Fall Apart, where Jesus said in March

after number six and verse thirty one, come ye yourselves

apart into a desert place and rest awhile. Amen, there's

being in this world that I really believe or warrens

say they felt more of peace was when the Red

Sea came crashing in on them and destroyed them, and

they never saw them again.
