  24. Ay, then, and then we'll skip down just a little

  25. bit here. Fourteenth chapter, Amen, Ectuly this chapter.

  26. Number thirteen, Verse number twenty one.

  27. The Lord went before them by day in a pillar

  28. of a cloud to lead them the way, and by

  29. night in a pillar of fire to give him like

  30. to go.

  31. By day and night. He took night away the pillar

  32. of the cloud by day.

  33. Nor the pillar of fire by night.

  34. Pay attention right here, from before the people, from before

  35. the people, Amen, Chapter number fourteen of the same book. Amen,

  36. Chapter number fourteen of the same book, Verse number nineteen.

  37. And the Angel of the Lord, which went before the

  38. camp of Israel, we removed and went behind them. And

  39. the pillar of the cloud went from before their face.

  40. You remember that, from before their.

  41. Face and stood behind them. And it came between the

  42. camp of Egyptians and the camp of Israel.

  43. And it was a cloud and darkness to.

  44. Them, meaning Pharaoh.

  45. Amen.

  46. In the armies of the Egyptians. It was a cloud

  47. and darkness to them, but it gave light by night

  48. to these, meaning the children of God, so that the

  49. one came not near the other all night. A man

  50. with the Lord's help here for just a little while tonight,

  51. I want to preach a little thought that he gave

  52. me in prayer. When God changes sides, Amen, when God

  53. change his side, would you lift your hands to heaven

  54. and ask.

  55. God to help us. Lord, We thank you.

  56. So much for your goodness and your vers and for

  57. your grace and your kindness and all that you've done

  58. for each and every one of us. God, we thank

  59. you for God, for all that you have done. We

  60. thank you for this opportunity to come into your house

  61. and into your presence.

  62. God.

  63. We have definitely felt in the hand of God, and

  64. we felt the wind of this spirit in this place. God,

  65. and we ask that you would come now once again.

  66. God.

  67. We know you're right here still. God.

  68. And what you bless your word or what you help

  69. us God to deliver? Only what you would have us

  70. to say, God, nothing more, nothing less, and not the

  71. ears of the people.

  72. God.

  73. And what your word I pray, We'll give you glory,

  74. all of the honor and all the praise.

  75. And we pray in the wonderful, lovely name of Jesus.

  76. Amen and Amen, y'all just help us here tonight.

  77. Amen.

  78. We have read here a few verses of a very

  79. familiar story that is recorded in the Holy Bible.

  80. This account has been recited by generations and is a

  81. testament to those who may feel as though they have

  82. come to a dead end that God retains the power

  83. to make away when.

  84. Oak faiths Amen.

  85. Throughout the ages the Christians of the every generation have

  86. looked to this story and to this account for faith

  87. and for whop to believe that whenever they look like

  88. they could go no farther than.

  89. God had the final say.

  90. Amen.

  91. You read in the Book of Theebiah, chapter number nine,

  92. verse nine through twelve. The Bible says the Levites and

  93. the other leaders of.

  94. The of Israel, after Theemayah had restored the wall, the

  95. Leevites and the other leaders, they mentioned this account in

  96. their prayer to Jehovah. As they were praying there before

  97. the people, they reminded the people of what God had

  98. done for Moses.

  99. And the children of Israel after Red Sea. The prophet Isaiah,

  100. when he was speaking.

  101. About the Lord in chapter number fourty three, in verse

  102. number sixteen, he remembers him as the Lord which making

  103. a way in the sea, at a path in the

  104. mighty waters. Isaiah is pointing us once.

  105. Again to the mighty thing that God had done. Amen.

  106. Back in the book of Exodus, Amen, before Stephen is

  107. executed in.

  108. His sermon to the Hypocrites.

  109. Amen to the inserment to the Jewish hypocrites, a man

  110. that had refused Jesus and his sermon, as he pointed

  111. them back to the cross.

  112. And he pointed them back and say, look, this was

  113. the man In that sermon.

  114. He also invokes the memory of the Red Sea crossing.

  115. Amen.

  116. Paul reminds the Corinthians of the of the amazing ability

  117. of God.

  118. In chapter number ten and verse number one.

  119. Paul reminds the Corinthians of the Red Sea and held,

  120. God move.

  121. For the children of Angel. So and many today in

  122. online time, how many here has heard this passage preached

  123. in church?

  124. Amen.

  125. Men of God in this day and hour.

  126. Still point us back. Amen, whenever people feel like they've

  127. got no hope. Amen, Just as they did back there,

  128. they do today.

  129. Amen. And I believe that God God still has a

  130. plan for his word. Amen.

  131. Throughout the ages, the memory of this notable event has

  132. never failed to bolster the faith and encourage many that

  133. God retains the ability to lead his people where they

  134. should go.

  135. They man. Many have looked to this account whenever they

  136. felt like that they had nowhere.

  137. Else to go, when they felt like they were all

  138. out of news, They man.

  139. They can look back to this account a man and

  140. realize that the God.

  141. Still preserves the ability to deliver despite the facts of life,

  142. or even what others may say or what others may do.

  143. They man.

  144. In the first verse of chapter number fourteen of the

  145. Book of Exodist, God speaks to a man, the man

  146. he ever fails throughout time that God has spoken to man,

  147. though they are unworthy.

  148. Amen.

  149. God will speak to a man, and he will not

  150. always speak to the people.

  151. Amen.

  152. God didn't talk to the whole congregation of Israel at

  153. this time.

  154. Amen. God spoke directly to Moses.

  155. The Bible says, and the Lord spake unto Moses, saying.

  156. Amen, God speaks to this man. Amen. This man is.

  157. Chosen of God to deliver his people from slavery and

  158. to lead them to a land of freedom.

  159. Amen.

  160. Freedom to live, freedom to worship, and freedom to heal.

  161. Amen.

  162. I read recently.

  163. The book of a short little book on Frederick Douglas.

  164. Amen. And he was a slave, He was born into slavery.

  165. And in that book he.

  166. Goes into depth, Amen, about the things that the slaves

  167. would face.

  168. And it will just it will bother your mind. Amen.

  169. Have the things that these slaves went through.

  170. Amen.

  171. I've shared a few of the stories.

  172. So Moses is God's man to bring the children of

  173. Israel out of the place of slavery. Amen, and give

  174. them a chance to heal. The nation of Israel had

  175. been slaves, scholars believe between four hundred to four hundred

  176. and thirty years.

  177. Amen.

  178. So all of these people that make this exodus with

  179. the men of God, all of these people that leave slavery, Amen.

  180. They were born into it. Frederick Douglas said he was

  181. born into it. He said he was never.

  182. Taught how to read.

  183. He taught himself. He was never mind, he was never

  184. taught right, he called himself. He said he never knew

  185. his real birthday.

  186. Amen.

  187. Because his mother didn't know how to read, his father

  188. didn't know how to read. He was he was so

  189. deprived of so many things because he was born into slavery.

  190. Amen. It was many, many years before Frederick Douglas could

  191. even take a guess at how old he was.

  192. Amen.

  193. So they knew nothing. These people knew nothing but slavery. Amen.

  194. They had the scars from slavery. Amen.

  195. And many of them, as they grew up, they would

  196. see a scar and they never knew what that scar

  197. was from, because it happened when they were so young

  198. that they don't remember it.

  199. No more. But they were born, Amen.

  200. They lived from live, from the little children up into

  201. their adulthood.

  202. With scars that they didn't know how they got. Amen.

  203. Mind and dead are tell them the stories, Amen.

  204. And then they were start to begin to remember the

  205. scars and why they received it. They knew nothing of it.

  206. All they knew is that they had scars. All they

  207. knew is that they were born into slavery.

  208. All they knew is that where they were coming to

  209. was a place that they could not leave. Dads and

  210. moms only.

  211. Knew their children with scars of slavery. Children only remembered

  212. their parents with the scars of slavery. Little Johnny and

  213. little Susane never see their mother without a scar from

  214. the whimp of the Egyptian taskmasters. They never knew what

  215. it was like to live free. They were born into slavery.

  216. They were no doubt scarred.

  217. Physically from the whip of the Egyptian taskmasters. They were

  218. also scarred mentally from the toil of slavery. Frederick Douglass

  219. talks about how it would Tavin Pall on his mind.

  220. He said slavery was almost worse on his mind than

  221. it was his body. These people had to fight. And

  222. I read this book. Amen, before I knew I was gonna.

  223. Be preaching this, it was just it was amazing to me.

  224. As I was studying, I realized they been to this

  225. book that I found that goodwill.

  226. Ayman that I had begun to read was I I

  227. could pull a little bit of it. I'm not gonna

  228. tell them a lot, but he talked about the strain

  229. ain't done, the mental strain.

  230. That slavery had dealt to him.

  231. Every day they lived, they lived with hatred in their heart.

  232. Every day they lived, they felt anger towards the castmasters

  233. they been. Every day they lived, they hated the man.

  234. They would lay the whip to their mother. Every day

  235. they lived, they hated the man. They would lay the whip.

  236. To their father.

  237. But God center man that that situation needed to change.

  238. Amen. God raised up with man that we know is Moses,

  239. and he had an encounter with God. And when he

  240. left that place, he had a burden.

  241. For the mistreated. Moses had a burden for the abused. Amen.

  242. The things that he had seen go on as he

  243. was raised.

  244. Up in the house of Pharaoh, He's seen that he

  245. God changed his heart, and he was one man that

  246. fell like going into Pharaoh's court.

  247. It was one man that felt like it was worth

  248. fighting for some slaves.

  249. Amen.

  250. Moses was a man that felt a heart to fight

  251. for the abuse, the heart to fight for the mistreated. Amen,

  252. they may the ones that had been tortured.

  253. By the whip of the enemy. A man Moses felt

  254. as though it was his duty.

  255. He felt as though it was his calling to rescue

  256. the suffering. We no one else seemed to pay any

  257. attention for four hundred years. We no one else had

  258. called a burden for four hundred years for these people

  259. that were being abused, for these slaves that do nothing

  260. by slavery. No one else felt a call, no one

  261. else fell a little touchdown in.

  262. Their heart to fight for these people.

  263. No one seemed to pay any attention to the little

  264. Hebrew babies crying.

  265. Nobody seemed to pay the.

  266. Attention for four hundred years of the Hebrew mamas and

  267. daddies that were crying and dealing with things in their

  268. bodies and in their minds that no one seemed to understand.

  269. Amen, God sent a man named Moses that cared enough

  270. to stand. Hey, man, he cared.

  271. Enough to stand in the corner Pharaoh and.

  272. To speak out for what was right.

  273. Despite the possible consequences. They man and people like to

  274. crucify the man of God. Ay man, people like to

  275. say things about the Man of God. That will look

  276. dare to say something a.

  277. Man the man of God.

  278. They looked there to enter into the corner Pharaoh and

  279. actually try to say something to help someone. No one

  280. else would do it, no one else had the heart

  281. to do it. But Moses thought sent a man that

  282. cared enough to walk in the court. They managed and

  283. risked his life.

  284. Because sweep on behalf of the Amen.

  285. Moses care enough to walk down the halls of the

  286. palace and said, Pharaoh, I know you have a power

  287. to bind me up.

  288. I know you have the power to overrun me with

  289. all of those taskmasters. But oh dared to staring in you,

  290. how dared to stand up for you? And I'll say

  291. what needs to be said.

  292. A man is tired to some people give Moses the

  293. credit that he deserved.

  294. Here's time that some.

  295. People will appreciate the back God. They will dare could

  296. walk into that place.

  297. And say what needs to be.

  298. Said for our lost children, Amen, for our lost Pamise

  299. and for lost daddies.

  300. Amen. Somebody else saying here and will speak the truth

  301. after Moses.

  302. Has risked his life to go before Farah. We all

  303. know the story about the plague. Amen, how much it

  304. could God? I hope we all know the story anyways. Amen,

  305. what a shame if we don't. It's one of the

  306. principles of the Bible.

  307. Amen.

  308. I hope that God, my son.

  309. I hope to God that I can raise my children

  310. to where they will know these foundational truths of the Bible. God,

  311. that a man like Moses would have risked his life

  312. for it reached his respectation for But we know about

  313. the plague and how much how far God really had

  314. to go.

  315. Amen, all the fled, all the pledge, the frogs, the lies,

  316. the river of blood Amen.

  317. And then finally the strawl that broke the camel's back

  318. was the passover.

  319. Amen, where God God took out.

  320. The oldest of the beasts and the oldest of the.

  321. People.

  322. Amen.

  323. And after this Phedroo is glad to let them go. Aymen,

  324. The people say, get out of here. We'll help you

  325. back up.

  326. Amen, We'll get all your stuff together, and y'all just

  327. get out. Y'all go do what you need to do

  328. before I see that God is with you. God sends

  329. the people out of Egypt.

  330. And imagine with me the excitement that's in the air.

  331. Amen.

  332. Imagine with me as the moms and the dadds. Amen,

  333. they're just smiling from here to here. Because I never

  334. knew my.

  335. Children would feel such freedom. I never would see this,

  336. this smile on my mama's face.

  337. I would never see the freedom chloe her countenance.

  338. But because somebody dared to stand up, because somebody dared

  339. to walk into the court.

  340. Amen, Now I see.

  341. This, and I recognize that we have finally, we've obtained freedom.

  342. Aymen are so excited as they go out, Amen, and

  343. as they leave this as they leave this town there Amen, smiling,

  344. no doubt, happy, no doubt.

  345. Amen.

  346. What I want you to realize is when they lift

  347. their head up, we read it in our text. When

  348. they lift their head up, what they see is the

  349. glory of God. What they see is a pillar of God,

  350. a pillar of a cloud.

  351. Amen. And this would serve as their guide.

  352. This cloud would be a guide to these slaves, Amen,

  353. that were no longer slaves but yet free men.

  354. Amen, The cloud of God's.

  355. Glory would lead them every step of the way, Amen.

  356. In a cloud by day and a fire by night.

  357. That's in this chapter number thirteen and twenty two says

  358. He took not away the pillar of the cloud by

  359. the day, nor the pillar of fire by night.

  360. From before the people ain'tmen every day that they walk, Amen,

  361. every day that.

  362. They walk, every minute, every hour, every second that they walk.

  363. This path after escaping, the.

  364. Cloud of a God was before them.

  365. All they had to do was step in line with

  366. the cloud. If the cloud move left, well I gotta

  367. move left. The cloud took that turn, then.

  368. I gotta take this turn. All they had to do

  369. was follow the cloud by day and the.

  370. Fire by night. They man. God let them out, Amen,

  371. God let them out.

  372. All they had.

  373. To do was fallow.

  374. How comforting it must have been to realize to realize

  375. the cloud of God's direction was right in front of you, Amen,

  376. to realize.

  377. That all I've gotta do is follow.

  378. This thing that God has prepared for me. If they

  379. need a direction, just look up. If you need to

  380. go nowhere to go, just look up. If you need

  381. assurance that.

  382. You're in the right way, If you need assurance at

  383. your steps are still on the right path.

  384. Just look d then make sure you're still in line

  385. with the cloud. Just look up and make sure you're

  386. still in line with the glory. It's not hard to

  387. see God's direction. It's not hard to see where God

  388. wants us to go. When we're looking in the right place.

  389. Ay man. If we're looking ahead of us, ay man.

  390. If we're looking to where we know the glory of

  391. God is, ay man.

  392. The cloud was always before them, it was always in

  393. front of them.

  394. They knew where the cloud was. All they had to

  395. do was look to the cloud.

  396. God's direction will stand the test of time. How many

  397. of y'all have seen a cloud stay the same for

  398. a couple of hours, Hey don't. The cloud will be

  399. here one minute and then partly gonna stay there and

  400. partly to be over here.

  401. Clouds don't stay. When the wind blows, the cloud blows,

  402. they man. When the wind blows, the clouds form changes.

  403. They man.

  404. I seen jumps, they man, And then I've seen cats,

  405. they man.

  406. I just see blows. If if you.

  407. See something in the clouds, everybody knows. I better get

  408. my phone quick because.

  409. It's not gonna laughs. I better take a pitcher quick,

  410. or people will never believe what I've seen in the cloud.

  411. They but this cloud never said, this cloud never changed shape. Amen,

  412. Gods director your seal aside, what come back? Man still

  413. takes today.

  414. The way, don't it?

  415. Theirs get still theirs today? You know how to seal

  416. a second?

  417. The ay, God just steal a siding that was going

  418. to found That didn't change him, that was going to

  419. chaund That didn't matter which way the wind was gone.

  420. The only thing gonna think that this cloud was the

  421. wind of God. He made the spirit win. Amen, Goth

  422. direction will stand the test of time. Every time they

  423. looked for it, it was still a pillar. Every time

  424. they served her direction. He was still a man. It

  425. was a pillar with grandfather got it. It was a pillar. Guy,

  426. he got it.

  427. He'll be a kill.

  428. You couldn't.

  429. In your town to and all. What we need to

  430. do is follow the glory of God, follow the cloud

  431. of God. God.

  432. Where did this cloud lead these books? Where did the

  433. glory of God lead these people? I read something in

  434. the Bible and I had to look it up in

  435. strongs And this is a side note, but it said

  436. they went out harnessed children of Asia, went out for

  437. children of Israel left eye of hardest.

  438. I said, what does that mean? Because there ain't hardness

  439. I know of. Amen. It pretty much puts you into slavery. Amen.

  440. Your harness a mule or something, and they're pretty subject

  441. to what you wanted to do. So why would the

  442. children of israelieve Egypt hardest?

  443. Amen? And when I read it strong and I've just

  444. slip my mind and every in my nose.

  445. Amen, buddy, they left out strong, and they left out

  446. well able, and they left out in everything they needed

  447. to get to their dog morning on the cold. Amen,

  448. when you walk out of Egypt, when you leave that

  449. place that has you bow.

  450. And you know your bell and you bought the guitars

  451. to show that your man.

  452. When you walk out of that place according to Dark's will,

  453. and you begin.

  454. To follow the glory cloud.

  455. When you begin to follow the pillar, you the hardest,

  456. with power.

  457. To fight the enemy, power to stay the test of time.

  458. Hey, ma'am, let me tell you here tonight where the

  459. pillar of the cloud let it the direction and the

  460. guidance of the cloud left them somewhere that when the

  461. children of Israel got.

  462. Their eyes off the cloud.

  463. And they looked around, they realized all of a sudden,

  464. we're at of that end. We're gonna nowhere to go.

  465. The nextdent, chapter number fourteen, Worse number one. The Lord

  466. spake up to Moses, and I'm gonna mess myself up

  467. with these words.

  468. The Lord spake on to Moses, say speak unto the

  469. children of Israel, that they.

  470. Turn in camp before pihah.

  471. Arrah, between nick Dall and the sea over against fails

  472. of fun before it shall ye in camp by the sea.

  473. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, they

  474. are entangled in the land. The wilderness has shucked them

  475. in right. I thought I was following the.

  476. Glory of garden, and the cloud led me to the

  477. edge of the sea with nowhere else to go. They man,

  478. the children of Israel stopped looking at the cloud because

  479. by this time Pharaoh has second thoughts, and by this

  480. time he's got his chariots, they man, and he's got

  481. his warriors, and they've lit out after the children of Israel,

  482. and they said, we'll bring it back.

  483. So by this time Pharaoh is fight on their heels.

  484. But we're following the cloud, and now it seems like

  485. we'red dead in Now it seems right We've.

  486. Got nowhere farther to go. And the children of Israel

  487. looked behind them. And when they looked behind.

  488. And said they seen Pharaoh, they seen the chariots and

  489. the horsemen. Amen, and they thought, what are we gonna do?

  490. Amen? I was following the cloud. I was in the

  491. planet of God. But this was all God's plan. It

  492. was God's planing.

  493. To the nakel hide and to the human eye, it

  494. looked like a dead end. When Pharaoh saw where God

  495. had led his people, he thought they had made a

  496. big mistake. Anybody ever thought you made a big mistake? Amen,

  497. People ever looked at you and said, look at them.

  498. They thought they were following God. Now look at him.

  499. Now they had a dad in, and now they gon't

  500. nowhere to go. What a fool y'all made a mistake.

  501. You were following that cloud, and now you've had a

  502. dad in. Look at you. I don't care what Pharaoh said.

  503. I don't care if Pharaoh thinks that we're in tangled. Hey, man,

  504. I don't care what some naysay or says. That word

  505. entangled a man.

  506. It means twisted together in a confused manner. Pharaoh thought

  507. they were twisted together in a confused manner out in

  508. the wilderness. You were following that cloud, were you, Well,

  509. now you're just all confused. You were following that cloud,

  510. were you well, now you're just all twisted up, ain't

  511. you No, I'm not twisted up, that's what you think.

  512. God knew you would take that way. God led the

  513. children of.

  514. Visual this way simply because of the fact that Pharaoh

  515. would think that way. Simply because Pharaoh, when he realized

  516. and he thought he had a if farah, if they

  517. were long gone freya, knew he had no chance.

  518. He would have never went after him. Going to play

  519. deliverance can seem awfully off theme sometimes, can't It.

  520. Ain't that If Pharaoh thought he stood no chance, I

  521. highly doubt he ever would up sattled the terrier. But

  522. whenever he realized where God was leading them, and it

  523. was all part of the plan of God, then he said,

  524. they're gonna get down there. I know the way that

  525. I know this area better than anybody. The Bible says

  526. the children of Israel didn't know this area. There was

  527. another way that the Bible says was shorter to go.

  528. But he knew whenever they came up to this place

  529. to fight.

  530. With these people, that they would turn back.

  531. And they would run back to Egypt because they would

  532. be scared of the war.

  533. They would be scared of the of the fight.

  534. God knew that, so he directs them this way for

  535. multiple reasons. One because they wouldn't run back to Pharaoh,

  536. and number two because Pharaoh would run after them.

  537. Amen the Bible. Amen, it's in the Bible. From Pharaoh's

  538. point of view, they had made a big mistake. He said,

  539. they were all confused, and they didn't know what they

  540. were doing. They didn't know where they were going. They

  541. were just they were just like a y'all want to

  542. hurt this. They were like a chicken with no head. Amen.

  543. I mean, if y'all see that, y'all see them chicken

  544. with no hood. They's kind of footy and sad at

  545. the same time. Man, But that's what they were like.

  546. That's what Farah saw them house. Pharaoh saw them mouse

  547. confused and not knowing up from down to I know

  548. it left or right. And he said, I've got him down.

  549. But let them carl us crazy, let them call us confuse.

  550. They made baby.

  551. People will say that we're just making a mistake, just

  552. like Pharaoh did.

  553. Amen.

  554. Maybe people will say we don't know what we're doing,

  555. just like Clara did.

  556. Maybe people will say we're crazy for following the cloud,

  557. just like Clara did.

  558. Amen.

  559. People can say what they will, they can think what

  560. they think. They can say we're twifted and all confused

  561. out in the wilderness.

  562. Amen.

  563. But that's what Pharaoh thought.

  564. We are never making a mistake when we follow the cloud.

  565. We are never making a mistake when.

  566. We follow the glory of God a man.

  567. The truth is, there's some here tonight at this service

  568. that you've witnessed the Cloud.

  569. Of God points you in a direction. Amen.

  570. The spirit of God has knocked on your heart, and

  571. the glory of God has appeared before you, and that

  572. pillar has appeared before you.

  573. And it's a chance to step out of Egypt, and

  574. it just chance to step out of bondage. Amen. In

  575. Godness laid this plan out for you that you leaves

  576. a man. That's our captivity. Have you follow the cloud

  577. of God?

  578. Amen?

  579. What would have happened if these people had not followed

  580. the cloud. It don't matter how it looks or if

  581. it makes sense to us. When the cloud is showing

  582. us the way, When the glory of God is before us,

  583. and we know it's the glory of God, and we

  584. know it's the plan of God.

  585. If we care.

  586. About those around us, and if we care about those

  587. little children, they men in those moms and those dads

  588. that were raised in slavery.

  589. They men that don't know the freedom of God.

  590. If we know what's good for them, and if we

  591. care about them, when we see the glory of God,

  592. when we see the guidance in the direction of God,

  593. we will walk out of Egypt for the sake of

  594. our children, for the sake of our families.

  595. That they do not far enough us right across.

  596. The back, that they care not to live with the

  597. Taskmaster again. Frederick Douglas said his wife involved around escaping.

  598. He said, every minute of his life he was looking

  599. for an opportunity to walk out of that plantation God

  600. just for him, for those around him.

  601. He tried once and his plan was foiled. Amen. He

  602. had learned to write, so that everybody knew. Slaves didn't

  603. know how to write. They didn't know how to read

  604. or write, so he would.

  605. He had forged signatures from his master saying that he

  606. was on a journey for him and whenever he was approached,

  607. he would pull that snoop out. My master said, give

  608. you this. What does this say? He wrote it, but

  609. he acted like he didn't.

  610. Amen.

  611. Every minute from learning to read and learned to write,

  612. was on focus on getting out of here.

  613. Amen. It was all focus on getting to a better labor.

  614. Those around me, those following me can witness free them

  615. that I can at.

  616. Treble you something, aymen, that I can attribute something to

  617. their freedom. And the people in the crowd felt like

  618. golden and camping by the sea was the wrong move.

  619. The children of Israel. Whenever they realized.

  620. That was hot on their truth, on their on their

  621. their their trail, they said, man, we should have stayed.

  622. In fact, they said, Moses, we told you just let

  623. us stay.

  624. Fredrick Duglas said, there was many like that.

  625. They they had grown so accustomed to slavery that they

  626. had no will to escape.

  627. He was just they got food, they.

  628. Got somewhere to sleep, and they worked son up to sundow,

  629. cold or hot. It was just their norm.

  630. It was their way of life. Amen.

  631. So these people had told Moses, you should have just

  632. left us. Pharaoh's gonna give us anyways, They were not

  633. privy to the plan of God. All they were to.

  634. Do was follow the cloud of God. Amen. Amen.

  635. In verse number ten, chapter number fourteen, Pharaoh has overtook them.

  636. And they have nowhere to go. They have nowhere to turn.

  637. They were at a dead end with a cloud before them.

  638. I'm following the cloud God. Now I'm at a dead end.

  639. Now I don't see nowhere else to go. I'm following

  640. your will. I'm following your plan.

  641. Amen.

  642. I've stepped out in faith. Amen, for the sake of

  643. my children, for the sake of my family.

  644. Now what.

  645. Not too long tonight? They don't know where to go.

  646. They don't know what to do right, Amen. They began

  647. to lose hope. They began to lose their grip on hope.

  648. Some here tonight they feel like the enemy is close

  649. by and your mind is under attack. You may feel

  650. like that your family is fighting a battle like they've

  651. never had before.

  652. And what you need is.

  653. A safe place just to shut it all off and rest, Amen,

  654. Just a safe place from from the storm and from

  655. the traveler. I'm sure these these people were weren't help.

  656. They had been enslave and in bondage for many years.

  657. And although I'm sure that that they're stem enough. Amen

  658. had grew and they were able to somewhat keep up

  659. with the peace of the taskmasters.

  660. But when a task master.

  661. Would realize that they had more to give, they would

  662. just beat up all the more harder. So they were

  663. forced every day to give all that they had. So

  664. they were worn out.

  665. They had no more to go. Amen, they were give out.

  666. They had walked.

  667. I believe it was about twelve miles from Egypt to

  668. the Red Sea. If I could be wrong, if I

  669. memory serves be right, it was roughly that. They don't

  670. know exactly where they crossed at the Red Sea book

  671. from the scriptures that it's been Amen just looked at Amen.

  672. So they possibly put in a day's word they Man.

  673. I don't know what time if they Amen, they left out,

  674. but Egypt, they had several miles to go, and when

  675. they get to where they're supposed to go, after walking

  676. through this wilderness, after walking through the through this desert,

  677. they find themselves with nowhere to go, and they feel.

  678. Like that they're they're they're, they're they're their.

  679. Their escape has been in vain because now Pharaoh is

  680. closing in. Pharaoh has overtook them. Amen, and I believe

  681. that they were weary from the the trick that they

  682. had made.

  683. Amen. And I really believe that there's people in this.

  684. World then are weary from the fight.

  685. Amen.

  686. They're weary from traveling this wilderness with no direction. They ain't.

  687. They're weary from just wandering from place to place.

  688. Amen.

  689. And there's times in your life that you feel like

  690. the wondering is over.

  691. And you've got nowhere else to go.

  692. And now you're out of that end, and your heart

  693. longs for rest and your mind longs for peace because

  694. you've been fighting the battles of slavery.

  695. You've been fighting the battle. Amen. If I can't help this,

  696. they man, I don't want to do this, but I'm

  697. fighting this battle. Be call the flood. The cares of

  698. life can weigh heavy on a family. Pastor wants priest

  699. a message titled.

  700. Come Apart or Fall Apart, where Jesus said in March

  701. after number six and verse thirty one, come ye yourselves

  702. apart into a desert place and rest awhile. Amen, there's

  703. being in this world that I really believe or warrens

  704. slap out from the cares of this life.

  705. Amen.

  706. And there warn't slap out from sin. Amen, Sin is

  707. a hard taskmaster.

  708. Amen.

  709. Frederick Dugla, I'm sorry I he mentioned him as just

  710. I just remember this stuff right now.

  711. I had forgot a lot of it.

  712. Frederick Douglas said there was so many cast masters that

  713. were worse than others.

  714. Amen. He had some good ones and he had some

  715. bad ones. Amen.

  716. Somewhere harder and ironically, he said the religious ones were

  717. the worst ones he ever had.

  718. He said they were the most hateful and the most

  719. quick to whip. Amen. But but, but but these the

  720. task master of Sin is much harder.

  721. Amen.

  722. The Egyptian taskmasters ain't man, much harder than they could

  723. ever dream to be. The cares of life way heavy

  724. on a family. It can nearly break a man. This

  725. is why Jesus said, coming to a desert place and

  726. rest o whaila. Amen. It's time for peace. It's time

  727. for some peace of mind. Amen. It's time to lay

  728. the slavery down.

  729. Amen.

  730. It's time to lay the barns down. Amen.

  731. Just take sweet rest and sweet consolation. Amen that God's powers.

  732. Amen.

  733. I all reminds you here tonight of our text in

  734. Exodus chapter fourteen or Snumber nineteen.

  735. And the Angel of God went before them. Remember, the

  736. crowd was before them.

  737. The cloud it was before the camp of the Israel

  738. removed and went behind them, and the pillar of the

  739. cloud went from before their face.

  740. Amen. You remember that the cloud was before them.

  741. Now the cloud has moved and it stands behind them.

  742. Amen. Now it stands behind them.

  743. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and

  744. the camp of Israel. And it was a cloud in

  745. darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these,

  746. so that one came not near the other.

  747. Amen.

  748. The same cloud that once got it away, Amen, the one,

  749. the same.

  750. Cloud that showed.

  751. The way the guy in cloud has now became.

  752. A garden cloud. I always at a dead end. I

  753. have nowhere to go. There was a cloud in front

  754. of me and an army behind me. But when I

  755. got where God wanted me to be, when I got

  756. where the cloud let me on.

  757. Leave in did the cloud move behind me. Only when

  758. I'm gone where God wanted me. Only when I got to.

  759. The place that God had called me. Only then did

  760. I heard. Then I really feel the protection look God.

  761. Only then did I feel the cover between me and

  762. the enemy.

  763. The cloud that once guided them, ay Man, the cloud

  764. that once left the way now protects them and now

  765. protects the children.

  766. When God changes sides, when God goes from leading you

  767. and you get to that place.

  768. That God has told you and God wants you.

  769. To be, then the cloud will move around you and

  770. you'll find a rest in the desert. Then you'll rest

  771. a lot in a desert place. Then you'll rest aloud

  772. the place they.

  773. Look cold Christ in the face that people said, Oh

  774. they made a mistake. What are they doing now?

  775. There?

  776. They're entangled freend. I'm just basket in the garden cloud

  777. of God.

  778. My family is just appreciating the cloud of God that

  779. surrounded me.

  780. Amen.

  781. I got to see in front of thee I've got

  782. my family right here, and I've got a cloud of

  783. God glory around me and myself.

  784. I'm want to ask tonight what would have happened? What

  785. do you think would have happened? Was the commentary?

  786. According to you, If the children of Israel had never

  787. got to the place the cloud was leading them, would

  788. the cloud move behind them if they were not there

  789. God warned them?

  790. Would they have witness took the protection of God?

  791. If they were not in the place that God had

  792. called them. What's your commentary, If they were disobedient to

  793. the cloud, if they refused to follow God, I don't

  794. think it would have That's my commentary. I don't think

  795. whenever God was leading them here and they went over here,

  796. then God's cloud said, well, I'm gonna move over here

  797. and protect them. No.

  798. I think Pharaoh would have overtook.

  799. If they had not followed the cloud, If they had

  800. not been to the place where God called them and

  801. wanted them to be, then God's glory and God's protection

  802. would have never surrounded them and became a shield to

  803. them from the evil that surrounded them, from the evil

  804. that had overtaking them. Until you arrive in the place

  805. that God is leading you, the.

  806. Cloud will stay.

  807. In front you to guide you to where you should be.

  808. I would love to see tonight, can we stand? I

  809. would love to see the protecting cloud of God settle

  810. in behind some family tonight.

  811. Amen.

  812. I love to see some families, Amen, And some individuals

  813. get into that place that God has called them, and

  814. that place that God has directed them, so that the

  815. glory of God can surround them, so that the glory

  816. of God can't protect them. God will create a place

  817. of healing. It was a place of rest.

  818. Amen.

  819. They didn't have to worry about Pharaoh. It was peace

  820. like their mind could not fathom. The only time I

  821. say they felt more of peace was when the Red

  822. Sea came crashing in on them and destroyed them, and

  823. they never saw them again.

  824. Amen.

  825. But up until this point, Amen, in that kind of

  826. peace is when we make.

  827. Our crossing from here to glory.

  828. Amen.

  829. That's where we'll see the waves of the Red Sea

  830. crashing on the enemy. Ay Man, That'll be the best

  831. peace of mind that we've ever felled. Amen. But I

  832. can only imagine the peace that they failed.

  833. Whenever God's cloud they realized I'm looking at it and

  834. it's moving around me.

  835. Amen.

  836. And now that Pharaohah, that thing that was bothering me,

  837. that thing that was what's taunting me, It can get

  838. to me no more. For the glory of God has

  839. made a hedge, or for the glory of God has

  840. protected me. For the Glory of God has put his wings.

  841. You'll remember faster Amen. Lately been talking to us. Amen

  842. about that mother hen Amen, that the cloud of God

  843. put its wings right around them.

  844. Amen.

  845. The cloud of God just took them right in and

  846. Pharaoh could not see. It was utter darkness. You will

  847. find rest, you feel like present.

  848. Let's go to an altar tonight.

  849. You can't find rest in the secret place of the cloud.

  850. Amen. I went to God that there'd be some people

  851. here tonight.

  852. Amen, that they would get to that place that God

  853. has called them.

  854. Amen.

  855. God has go doubt reached Amen. And God has food

  856. for people.

  857. Amen.

  858. And we must get to that place, heymen, We must

  859. get to where God is leading us so that He

  860. can protect us. Restoration, Amen, can be found in the cloud.

  861. Peace can be found in the cloud.

  862. Joy and contentment can be found in the cloud.
