  1. Me to the Book of Second Kings. May I direct

  2. your attention to chapter number four. We'll be reading verses

  3. number one through seven as our selected scriptures for tonight,

  4. Brother Nathaniel Matthew chapter number twenty five, verses number seven

  5. through twelve, and Brother Jesse Isaiah chapter number one through

  6. verse number nineteen. I appreciated the testifying of everybody that

  7. testified tonight. I appreciated Brother Caleb Brokecap and Sister Charity

  8. Howell singing with such an anointing, Brother Nathaniel Matthew, chapter

  9. number twenty five, verses number seven through twelve. Brother.

  10. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps, and

  11. the foolish set under the wives, give us of your

  12. old fur lamps are going out. But the wise answered,

  13. saying not so, lest there not be enough for us

  14. and you. But gogie rather to them that sell and

  15. buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the

  16. bridegroom came, and they that were ready went in with

  17. him to the marriage, and the door was shut. Afterward

  18. came also the virgin, saying, Lord Lord, open to us.

  19. Buddy answered and said barely, I said to you, I

  20. know you not did y'all notice that phrase. And the

  21. door was shut. And the door was shut, brother Jesse Isaiah,

  22. chapter number one and verse number nineteen.

  23. Brother, if ye be willing and obedient, you shall eat

  24. the good of the land. I believe, if somebody will

  25. be obedient to what the spirit of God says tonight,

  26. you will eat of the good of the land. That's

  27. what the woman in our golden text needed was a blessing,

  28. a miracle. Let's stand for the reading of our golden texts.

  29. Will read only verses number four, five, and six of

  30. Second King's Chapter number four. The Bible says, and when

  31. thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon

  32. thee and upon thee sons, and shall pour out into

  33. all those vessels, And thou shalt set aside that which

  34. is full. So she went from him and shut the

  35. door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the

  36. vessels to her, and she poured out. And it came

  37. to pass when the vessels were full, that she set

  38. into the sun, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said,

  39. unto her, there is not a vessel more. And the

  40. oil stayed looking at verse number four. The words of

  41. the Great prophet Elijah. And when thou art come in,

  42. thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons.

  43. I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled hey,

  44. you better close the door on distractions. May we pray,

  45. Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you. We thank

  46. you for the opportunity to be in your house. We

  47. pray that you would anoint this thy people, set a

  48. guard at their ears, and help them to hear what

  49. the spirit of God says into the church tonight of

  50. your word, not of my words. God, open unto us

  51. the scriptures as you did for the husband and wife

  52. on the road. A mais I pray God that you

  53. would anoint this I servant, set a guard at my mouth,

  54. and help me to say the things that you would

  55. have me to say. Nothing more or less. I pray

  56. that these sayings would saturate our soul and spirit. Let

  57. them go below the shoulders, don't let them just be

  58. in the head. Only God, help us to get what

  59. it is you're saying. And may we depart this place

  60. joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus name. In the church

  61. said Hey, man, as you're being seated again, we will

  62. read verse number four of Second Kings, chapter number four.

  63. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the

  64. door upon thee and upon thy sons, and thou shalt

  65. pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set

  66. aside that which is full. Look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,

  67. you better close that door. Our text is found in

  68. an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible. The Book

  69. of Second Kings is another book of the Bible which

  70. is chalk full of content for the minister who desires

  71. to be a blessing to others by helping them build

  72. their most holy faith. And you can build your most

  73. holy faith by hearing the word of God preached and

  74. by praying in the spirit. And I appreciate we have

  75. seen both of those things accomplished. In tonight's service. We

  76. witness Brother Nathaniel preaching as anointed by the Holy Ghost.

  77. We witnessed him reading of the blessed Word of God.

  78. I have seen the Saints of God pray in the

  79. spirit of Sister Charity. How one Brother Caleb rodecap let

  80. Us in song. And there is no doubt that God

  81. kissed this service with his approval and manifested his blessings

  82. upon this people. And I'm so thankful that you can

  83. say you're such a peace that witnesses the manifestations of

  84. the spirit of God. There's a lot of you in

  85. this building who received the Holy Ghost in the last

  86. three years. And I'll tell you one of the reasons

  87. for the reception of the Holy Ghost was at some

  88. point you managed to shut out many distractions in your life.

  89. There is no doubt that the Apostle Paul lived in

  90. perilous times. I feel like we as well live in

  91. perilous times. I know that the Apostle Peter said that

  92. we should save ourself from the perverted generation. He worded

  93. it this way, save yourself, preserve yourself from the untoward generation.

  94. And the people of God are serving God in spirit

  95. and in truth. They are that church has been founded

  96. by God. I'm thankful for everything God is doing for

  97. God's people. But you know, I've been a witness that

  98. the devil is doing everything he can to wear out

  99. the people of God. And one of the things he's

  100. doing to wear out the people of God is getting

  101. them busy watching of the things that are going on

  102. in this world. There's so much going on, it's easy

  103. to be dangerously distracted. And brother, would I believe that

  104. if we will build up our most holy faith by

  105. praying in the Holy Ghost and reading the Word of God,

  106. we can keep ourselves from the distractions of the devil

  107. without question. These Bible characters before us tonight were people

  108. that were definitely focused upon what it is God would

  109. have them to do. It was this morning, very early.

  110. Sister faith Robe Cap was working for Sister Howel and

  111. I and they're at our business. She began to clean

  112. one of my offices, and she also cleaned Brother Samuel

  113. Howell's barbershop. And at some point she sends us to

  114. how text and said that in a recent service, God

  115. convicted her of listening to contemporary music, and she said

  116. she purged her playlist, and she said she didn't want

  117. anything whatsoever, whatever it could be, and for her, she

  118. felt like it would be just a few songs of

  119. the contemporary music persuasion that would keep her distracted from

  120. receiving whatever it was the Lord had for her in

  121. the upcoming days. And as sence, that were her words,

  122. I don't want to miss out on anything that God

  123. has for me. By being distracted. And I remember a

  124. particular camp meeting when a keynote speaker among the independent

  125. holding this people was preaching, and most people felt like

  126. he was really preaching good. In fact, a lot of

  127. people were on their feet somewhere, putting their hands together

  128. doing something with clapping. Others were smiling real big, Others

  129. were nodding their heads and approval. Some were jumping up

  130. and down, some were stomping their feet. He had the

  131. cadence right, and he was preaching. The Holy Ghost atmosphere

  132. seemingly was thick. But at some point he got dangerously

  133. distracted as he was preaching, and he mocked the preachers

  134. that preached against contemporary Christian music. For whatever reason, something

  135. rose up in him. And I have heard the recording

  136. of him doing that numerous times over the last fifteen years,

  137. and every time I hear it, I cringe. First, I

  138. get startled, and then I cringe because he mocks them

  139. with a hill billy tone and with a country cracker voice.

  140. He starts making fun of the way they would say

  141. contemporary Christian music, and he starts saying something like this,

  142. for those of you that preacher gifts to temporary music

  143. he kind of stuck back in the days to temporary

  144. music or however your country bumpkins say it, are you'll

  145. listening to me here tonight. I knew right then that

  146. some spirit had rose up in him that was sorely

  147. displeasing the God. And I could tell that he had

  148. lost some of his listeners in that moment. Maybe only

  149. twenty five or thirty percent of the people disapproved of

  150. his actions that night. But it was not long after

  151. that his son came to him and he said, hey, Dad,

  152. I'm not looking for a relationship with a woman. I

  153. haven't called a name, but he said, I have discovered

  154. my sexual orientation. And I made that discovery amongst the

  155. independent Holiness people. I am a homosexual, and I hope

  156. I find the lover of my life in another male.

  157. And that young man walked out of the independent Holiness

  158. churches and walked off of our great camp meeting platforms.

  159. And he's had many male lovers. Men are the same sect?

  160. Are y'all listening to people of the same section? And

  161. there was some other scandalous thing that took place in

  162. that particular minister's household. I'm not giving any names at all,

  163. but what I want to tell you, is the devil

  164. distracted that man somehow, right in the middle of a

  165. wonderful message, while the Spirit of God was moving, he

  166. felt it important to pick on some sincere people. But

  167. I would like to ask such a minister tonight, how

  168. did that work out for you choosing to listen to

  169. contemporary Christian music? How did that work out for you

  170. and your family choosing to use a camp meeting platform

  171. and to preach against those who sincerely felt like God

  172. had convicted them not to listen to that style of

  173. Christian music. Oh, come on, now, we believe that the

  174. characters before us here tonight are definitely God fearing people.

  175. You have the great prophet Elisha named in our text,

  176. and you also have the widow of a son of

  177. a prophet. You've got somebody that knows exactly what it

  178. is together with the people of God and to hear

  179. what the Spirit of God is saying without distraction. I

  180. believe that this woman went to the right person. She

  181. went to somebody that was not a stranger to miracles

  182. in his ministry. I want to ask you here tonight,

  183. how many mentories have miracles in them? Today? I feel

  184. like there are people in this building up, who have

  185. experienced a miracle for yourself, or you have witnessed someone

  186. else experience a miracle. If you're a Christian, a child

  187. of God, you are a miracle. You are an embodied

  188. a miracle right here tonight, Hey man, how many of

  189. you remember the old song that Brian Free used to sing.

  190. I believe it was titled the Greatest of All Miracles,

  191. and the lyrics which something like this, the greatest of

  192. all miracles were when of my Jesus has saved me.

  193. You must admit tonight that if you are now a

  194. child of God, you came to a place in your

  195. life when you rid yourself from all distractions of every

  196. degree and you focus on the Lord. That is how

  197. you experienced that miracle. There is no doubt the natural

  198. birth of a child is miraculous. The supernatural, spiritual burthen

  199. of a child of God is even more so miraculous.

  200. The great Pharisee Nicodemus would shout out in agreement with

  201. a hearty hey man, and every child of God in

  202. this place tonight up could shout out a hearty hey man.

  203. It's a mystery to the world, but you know it

  204. is a miracle. You, sir, and you ma'am, are a

  205. product of an act of God. In verse number one

  206. of Second King's Chapter number four, we find this man

  207. of God and this woman of God's life seemingly coming

  208. to a halt, becaulled of some creditors. How many of

  209. you have ever had a creditor show up at your door?

  210. You peep through the blinds and realized who it was

  211. after reading their name tag and their badge. It made

  212. you feel uncomfortable, did it not? If you owed a

  213. debt that you were unwilling to pay or you did

  214. not want to pay. When the creditors showed up at

  215. your door, it made you feel terrible. You felt anxious,

  216. very concerned, and very alarmed. Early this morning, somebody in

  217. this building they messaged me and they said, Pastor, I

  218. have received two phone calls from the CSI. What should

  219. I do about it? They said, who is the CSI?

  220. I said it could be a crime scene investigator. That

  221. is not the answer that they wanted to hear. Immediately.

  222. They were alarmed and concerned about why would a crime

  223. scene investigator be calling me? And I said, you know what,

  224. there's no reason at all for us to get anxious

  225. or to worry about something that may not be nothing.

  226. What you need to do is do your research and

  227. find out who that is. If you have to place

  228. a call, call them and find out what's going on,

  229. there's no need to worry about it. Well, they picked

  230. up their phone evidently, and they made a call and

  231. found out that it came from Collection Services Incorporated. They

  232. were very embarrassed. If they had been in my company,

  233. I would say they would have been a red faced

  234. And because they were admitting the creditors are after me, Yes,

  235. you got it right. That is the inspiration for tonight's message.

  236. I felt like God began to deal with my heart

  237. about how we feel when the creditors come after us. Oh,

  238. come on now, the greatest time in your life was

  239. the time of your conversion for your salvation, when Jesus

  240. stepped in in front of your creditor and pain of

  241. bill that you were incapable of paying yourself. In this narrative,

  242. the wife of a deceased man of God received word

  243. that the creditor is in town, and in order to

  244. settle the debt, her husband so graciously gifted and lefted

  245. her wis her two sons, were chosen to satisfy the debt.

  246. According to the creditor, these two young men would be

  247. enough to satisfy the dead. If you know the story

  248. of the elder brother and the younger brother, in the

  249. narrative of the prodigal son, you would see that there

  250. are a lot of things that two sons would be

  251. capable of doing on the family farm or even on

  252. a profet's estate. These young men must not have been

  253. very old for brother Jesse, I feel like them if

  254. they would have had any age at all about him,

  255. they would have been working and making a living and

  256. providing for their mother. But how many other brothers in

  257. this building tonight to feel like you are a miracle?

  258. How many of you brothers in this building tonight feel

  259. like you're in need of a miracle. I feel like

  260. there's somebody preaching to to night. I don't know the

  261. name of your miracle, but one day you will give

  262. it a name. I don't know if you need to

  263. be cured of cancer, or you need God to meet

  264. the need financially, or perhaps it's God to currenal failure

  265. or the cured diabetes. I don't know the name of

  266. your miracle, but you need a miracle, and the knocking

  267. on the door by a creditor at one's house, and

  268. is a run your finger through your hair kind of moment.

  269. If you look at Bella Jacob here tonight, he doesn't

  270. have a whole lot of hair on his head. It

  271. seems to me like maybe that great Man of God

  272. has had a few moments such as these, a few

  273. of those run your fingers through the hair of your

  274. head of moments when you don't know what you're gonna do.

  275. If you'll notice, after the creditors come knock owner door,

  276. she doesn't call a lone man. She doesn't call a lawyer.

  277. She doesn't call Mama or daddy. She doesn't call an

  278. actor or an uncle. She calls a man of God

  279. for assistance. The wife of the sons of the Prophets

  280. calls out to Elisha. You can't call out to just

  281. any person. You can't call out on her just any

  282. man of God. This woman was very familiar with the

  283. prophets and the sons of the Prophets, but she wanted

  284. a man like Elijah, and she reachs to his successor, Elisha.

  285. Come on, now, the creditor. The creditor has come by

  286. and plans to make some of your spiritual son slaves.

  287. He plans to make her some of your spiritual sons

  288. his property. What are you gonna do about it? How

  289. does that sit with you? I've looked at some mammas

  290. in this church and whose children are out them in

  291. this world, and I can tell that they're not okay

  292. with her child being the property of Satan. And I

  293. want you all to know that this woman had a

  294. problem with her sons, who are sons of a prophety,

  295. becoming the property of Satan. And moms and dads we

  296. would preach with the House of God more if we realize,

  297. if we don't get them to the House of God,

  298. to the Man of God and the people of God,

  299. they will become the property Satan. A man, some moman

  300. needs to tell the devil here tonight, you're not gonna

  301. have my boy. Some moman needs to tell the devil,

  302. you're not gonna have my children. Amen. So, after the

  303. creditors walked away from her door with giving her the

  304. information of what would satisfy the debt, she goes to

  305. Elisha and she tells Elisha about her plight, her situation,

  306. and brother Nathaniel Immediately, Elisha says, what shall I do

  307. for thee, And then he goes on to say, tell

  308. me what is in thine house? Sister Howell, her answer

  309. was obvious. Her obvious answer would be I need one

  310. of those miracles, and I need it now. I'm preaching

  311. that somebody tonight. You haven't told me about your circumstances

  312. and or your needs. Would I have felt it today?

  313. You are in need of a miracle, no wonder the

  314. Lord has been saying to you, seek me. I'm glad

  315. some of you sought the Lord this past Sunday night

  316. and again Monday. If your hatnah, we might have a

  317. funeral this week, or two or three or four, you heard,

  318. But the Philip say it was on Monday the next night,

  319. after the Holy Girl spoken, after we did something about it,

  320. after we sought the Lord the next night afterwards, and

  321. they were almosty in a head on collision. This is

  322. why we seek the Lord, and this is why we

  323. gather in his house, and this is why we return

  324. thanks when God has done something as good as this.

  325. Sometimes we find ourselves in that calamit of situation. Sometimes

  326. we find ourself in a time of great need. Look

  327. at the next question, Elisha asked, So the first question

  328. he asked was what shall I do for thee? He

  329. realized this was not his moment to shine. This was

  330. this woman's time of need. How many have you ever

  331. seen them preachers that are so happy to be a

  332. minister that when somebody goes through a tragedy it is

  333. their moment to shine. All the preachers in this building

  334. that have seen that, you know it makes you sick

  335. to your stomach whenever they benefit from a tragedy intentionally.

  336. I've heard people stand up behind the pool pit and

  337. try to benefit from a tragic situation. This man of

  338. God puts on her and he says, what can I

  339. do for you? Then the next question is what hast

  340. thou in the house? I'm sure peace look through the door.

  341. He knows there's not a whole lot to in the house.

  342. Tell me you've ever heard a preacher point this out?

  343. He asked the question what is in nine house? If

  344. you read the Nurtive, which is a true story, you

  345. will see that there is nothing else in the house.

  346. And she goes on to say, well, there's nothing in

  347. the house save a part of her oil. She had

  348. the right thing in the house and the road, things

  349. that could be sold out of the house. And I

  350. want you to know when you put something out on

  351. the side of the road and you put a for

  352. sale side on it and you get rid of it,

  353. let it be gone now. Don't go to the neighbors

  354. your tall and trying to buy it back. Ay man,

  355. ay man. What's in nine house? Certainly not Netflix, Certainly

  356. not Red Box. Certainly not a television. She is the

  357. wi of a prophet. She's the widow of a prophet.

  358. What is in nine house? You're asking God for a miracle?

  359. Let me ask the question again while the crickets preach?

  360. What is in nine house? What is on your playlist?

  361. Oh my god? What is on your grocery list? What

  362. is on your shopping list? What is on your things

  363. to do list? What is it that's in your house?

  364. Or what is it that you plan to bring into

  365. your house? The Man of God said, I will walk

  366. within my house with a perfect heart. I will set

  367. no wicked thing before mine eyes. Oh thank God, Brother Thomas.

  368. Character hearing this narrative, the true story does not given

  369. a counter of her having the purds and her house

  370. of wicked things. I'm telling somebody here tonight. If there's

  371. a wicked thing in your house dangerously distracting you, then

  372. you need to put it out of the house. So

  373. cool you, Tella Maha. Let me get with something right

  374. here for you, Amen, I need a Lord to help me.

  375. Let me get with something right here for a minute.

  376. Let me spin some wheels right here, right now, Brother

  377. and sister, you need a miracle, correct absolutely, because God

  378. has spoke to me that you do need a miracle.

  379. You're in need of a miracle. What is it in

  380. that house of yours? We're going to back up again.

  381. What is it in that house of yours? He said?

  382. Let us lay aside every weight and the sin that

  383. does so easily beset us. Back to the narrative, the

  384. true account of what took place. You can see it

  385. right here. She didn't hesitate to tell the prophet what

  386. was in the else. There's nothing in here save a

  387. pot of all. She had got rid of everything else,

  388. She had sold everything else, and still could not satisfy

  389. the dent. That's it, it's all. I have a pot

  390. of oil. That's it. That's all you need is a

  391. pot of all. The greatest revival this church has had

  392. took place a little over two and a half years ago.

  393. And the theme of that spontaneous revival, which no outsider

  394. or insider preacher, there was no traveling of angelis come by.

  395. There was no in house preacher come by. The Holy

  396. Ghost came by and we experienced a mighty out poured

  397. of the Holy Ghost that changed the face of this

  398. church and the theme mussa, I must have all. That's

  399. what the Holy Ghost spoke to us that Sunday night.

  400. And then the Holy Ghost moved then a mighty and

  401. you know what happened Now, the sons of the prophet,

  402. so the sons of the preachers, the sons of their

  403. church people, the daughters of the church people, they went

  404. home because we walked away with oil. I'm telling somebody

  405. here tonight, you don't need what this world has got, Donah.

  406. You don't need to be distracted by the daughters of

  407. the land. Dinah. All you need is what's in the

  408. house and of God and his most prized possession. He

  409. is a pot of the boil. It's the good, sweet

  410. spirit of God. Everything in the house, everyone in the house,

  411. depended on what happened with the oil. Oh sweet Jesus,

  412. the proper news. The miracle would need to be one

  413. of multiplication. The miracle would need to be a miracle

  414. a multiplication that the Lord was to multiply the oil,

  415. she would need every canister and container she could find.

  416. The more containers and canisters she had, the more jugs

  417. she brought in, the more oil she would have the greatest,

  418. the greater the measure of the miracle. The more oil,

  419. the more money she would have to pay off her debts.

  420. The most oil she could get in the house was

  421. her number one priority. What about you? Do you need

  422. more oil? And every single service when we gather Bethel,

  423. I tell the Lord, what we need is more oil.

  424. What we need is more spirit of God. Isaiah, chapter

  425. number one and verse number nineteen says, if you be

  426. willing and obedient, and shall you shall eat of the

  427. good of the land. If you be willing, and if

  428. you be obedient, ye shall eat of the good of

  429. the land. Don't you think, sister faith rope Cap is

  430. going to farewell because of purging her playlist? But not

  431. everybody felt impressed to purge their playlists of contemporary music.

  432. But what is it that God has asked you to

  433. put out of your house, know ye not that your

  434. body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. We often

  435. come over here to purge God's house of snotty napkins

  436. that people have used and left around the altar. Most Wednesdays,

  437. Sister how and I'm make an appearance over here around

  438. three point thirty, and we walk around in order to

  439. purge God's house of things that would be somewhat offense

  440. of things like snotty rags or just things that were

  441. just laying around that were uncomely for visitors or for

  442. church people to see. Nothing holy, no idolatry going on

  443. around here. But we feel the need to clean up

  444. the house of God. But you know what, not everybody

  445. feels the need to be obedient to the things that

  446. God has required of them to do. You go on

  447. down to reverse number twenty of Isaiah, chapter number one.

  448. They said, but if you refuse them and rebel, ye

  449. shall be devoured with the sword. For the mouth of

  450. the Lord has spoken at to him. What would have

  451. happened if this woman had not have obeyed elcious mandate?

  452. What if she had not of listened and obeyed the

  453. words of the Man of God, Sister Howell, Verse number

  454. twenty of the Book of Isaiah would be applicable. Somebody

  455. would have devoured her two sons. They would have been

  456. slaves or worse, perhaps the sword would have been trusting

  457. to them and they would have been killed if she

  458. rebel and didn't do what God had told her to do.

  459. The truth is her greatest possessions were at stake. And

  460. some of you don't seem to understand this. For some

  461. of you that are still refusing to seek the Lord,

  462. you don't seem to understand it. Young person, your greatest

  463. possessions are at stake. Now we can fold up the

  464. Bible right there and go to the house and just

  465. let each choose what they want to do, obey or rebel.

  466. But if you go tomorrow and just have no desire

  467. whatsoever to seek the Lord, and you spend more time

  468. on YouTube, I hope to God you ain't spending time

  469. on TV or netflex movies, on YouTube, all this stuff,

  470. and you go home and choose rather than listen to

  471. some preaching or some gospel music, or to pray and

  472. seek the Lord to read your Bible, you willingly choose

  473. to refuse to obey the Lord. Your greatest possessions are

  474. at stake. What's your greatest possessions of saund mind, your health,

  475. your soul. If you gain the whole world lose your

  476. own soul, what are your profited besides the oil in

  477. the house. She's got two sons who probably in their

  478. future will be hard working men. But she's got to

  479. get them to their future. She's got to figure out

  480. the way to sustain them till they get to their future,

  481. until they're able to become hard working young men. The

  482. Devil's got a plan for your children as much as

  483. you do. You need the all of the holy ghost

  484. in your house for your greatest possession's sake. If I

  485. gain the whole world and lose my own soul, If

  486. I gain the whole world and lose my own sons

  487. and lose my own daughter, what am I profited? If

  488. the creditor knocks on the door of my house, and

  489. he will, you owe it that you can't pay. And

  490. the only way you're gonna save your greatest possessions is

  491. by having all in your lamp. Give me all in

  492. my lamp, keep it burning, Give me all in my lamp,

  493. I pray, give me all in my lap, keep it burning, burning, burning,

  494. keep it burning till the break of day. Oh, sweet Jesus,

  495. you're starting to get it. Your greatest possessions. That little

  496. baby you're bouncing on your knee, That little girl that

  497. wraps her arms around your neck, gives you a kiss

  498. on the cheek Daddy before bed. That little boy, brother Jesse,

  499. that can stand flat footed and jump up on the

  500. coffee table. The devil's peeking in your window, and he

  501. sees he got more than a pot of all. He

  502. sees you got two sons that he can use. Sister

  503. haw I Phil. It's sinking in. They're starting to get it. Now.

  504. You must have all. You must have oil. Unlock the

  505. foolest virgins. In Matthew twenty five, this woman would see

  506. to it that she had more than enough oil, I said,

  507. Unlock the foolish versins. In Matthew twenty five. This woman

  508. would see to it that she had more than enough oil.

  509. In Matthew twenty five and nine, I said. But the

  510. wise virgins answered the fool ist, saying, not so lest

  511. there be not enough for us and you. But go

  512. ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves.

  513. These wise virgins were willing to pay the price. And

  514. these wise women were willing to not be distracted. They

  515. needed oil, and the window in our text knew where

  516. to get it because the prophet had told her, you

  517. need to have plenty, and he told her how to

  518. get it. All you need is an empty vessel, and

  519. the vessel itself had to be purge of anything else

  520. if you're gonna pour all lit it, and you know

  521. how to get your miracle. You heard when God has said,

  522. worshiped me in spirit, had in truth? You heard it

  523. when God has said, be about in your religion, be

  524. devoted and committed to the cause of Christ and to

  525. worship him. You know when God has spoke to you

  526. and said, lift up your boss like a trumpet, and

  527. praise me greatly. You know when God has told you

  528. to purge out that vessel and make room for the

  529. earl of God. Too many people are dragon full containers

  530. into the House of God. Every person that went into

  531. the upper room was an empty vessel. Every person, whether

  532. large or small, that walked up the steps and ended

  533. up in the upper room on the day of Pentecost

  534. was a hungry soul, had an empty vessel. How about

  535. the container you brought in the building tonight. Sister Wooden

  536. says it all the time. I quote, I'm a holy

  537. ghost hog. If you don't want your puss, I will

  538. have it. Are there any containers in the house? I wonder,

  539. are there any containers in the house. I wonder if

  540. somebody could produce some containers in the house. Oh better, Philip.

  541. Whenever them sons and this woman went out of the

  542. house in order to procure and secure containers that they

  543. would bring in behind clothes and doors. And there is

  544. no doubt they ran in to nosy neighbors. I'm sure

  545. nosy Nelly was present, as well as Gossipe Gwyn and

  546. dramatic Debra and problematic Peter and compromise a Camella. There

  547. would have been a lot of people say, why do

  548. you need this a vessall? And why do you need

  549. that messhaw? Let me help you with your effort, Let

  550. me help you with your labor. I noticed Elisha came by.

  551. It seems like you're obeying him. It seems like you're

  552. doing what he and God told you to do. That

  553. brother Jesse in the midst of that conversation, in the

  554. middle of that communication, they would have been distracted, and

  555. that's what I'm telling you. You may have good intentions.

  556. God may have gave you the order for the week.

  557. God may have told you what you needed to do

  558. for your miracle. But you make a phone call instead,

  559. and you're ask an elder of another church what you

  560. should do. Preacher, you call another a bandos or another

  561. pastor and ask them what they should do, or you

  562. ask them what they would do. Oh, come on, now,

  563. I know you're tired of idah when I'm telling you,

  564. even when you're doing the work of God and the

  565. will of Kaida, if you're not careful, that communication and

  566. that conversation will distract you from the will and the

  567. word of God. And this brings us to our title

  568. and our text. You close the door. I want you

  569. to see this demonstrated, Brother Jesse. Brother Nathaniel's coming to

  570. get a container. I need somebody to distract him from

  571. getting that container. Meanwhile, Brother Philip is coming to get

  572. a jug, and I need somebody to distract brother Philip

  573. the second son. Did you notice the horizon. It's a

  574. little bit gray. We're expecting a storm today. It's no

  575. time to be out there in the streets collecting jugs.

  576. My God in heaven. Well, I'm just gonna text this

  577. person for a little while. One text turns into a

  578. hundred I'm just gonna call this person for a minute.

  579. One minute turns into two hundred minutes, or it turns

  580. into ten phone calls. And then you didn't pray. Then

  581. you didn't seek the Lord. You didn't get enough containers

  582. in the house. I'm telling you, every time them boys

  583. would show up with a container, Mama would say, you

  584. need to get something else, because if we don't get enough,

  585. holl at least one of you is gonna go. If

  586. we don't get enough, at least one of you will

  587. satisfy the debt. We ain't got one we need to lose.

  588. We don't be need to be so distracted that we

  589. miss one. We don't need to be so distracted as

  590. a Holiness people that we lose one Holiness church. We

  591. don't need to be so distracted as a Holiness family

  592. that we lose one family member. Are you all with

  593. me right now? Where's your mind at Dinnah? Are you

  594. dangerously distracted by the daughters of this world? Where's your

  595. mind that demus? Are you dangerously distracted by the young

  596. men of this world? Well, look what's going on in

  597. brother Samuel's barbershop. You better not look at what's going

  598. on in brother Samuel's barbershop. He ain't none of your

  599. business to start with. But secondly, if you don't get

  600. them containers holding the mama, and if mama don't get

  601. them behind closed doors, you're gonna be working for the creditor.

  602. Some have you still haven't sought the Lord. Some of

  603. you still haven't been getting this much. All as you can.

  604. My preacher preaches with your knowing, and you say, oh,

  605. how God moves, Oh have God bless us, Oh have

  606. God restores? Oh how God feel? He raises the dead,

  607. he cures catcher. But what about your miracle? What about

  608. your experience? I'm telling you, the creditors come in? I said,

  609. God said today the creditor is coming to collect. The

  610. creditor is coming to collect. And you need every vessel

  611. you can get in the house. And Elisha said, for

  612. a reason, you better shut the door. Don't you let

  613. the observers come in. Don't you let the commentators come in.

  614. Don't you let the critics come in. Don't you let

  615. the skeptics come in. Don't you let the watchers come in.

  616. Nobody needs to watch you work. Nobody needs to criticize

  617. your work. Nobody needs to judge your work. You don't

  618. need no running by nobody else. Just bring the chugs

  619. in the house and pour out the bottle into every juggle.

  620. And you better find every jug you can because as

  621. much oil as you get, it's as much money as

  622. you get. You'll be able to pay the debt offer.

  623. If you get enough oil, you'll have enough money. There's

  624. a few people in this building tonight. They need to

  625. learn how to close the door. You set out the

  626. fast and then somebody calls and says, let's go out

  627. for steak, and you know what you do. You're of

  628. that persuasion. I'm gonna go out for steak and start

  629. with fast tomorrow. You're running out all and you're running

  630. out of time. I love that when we ask for

  631. containers and canisters and jugs and bowls and jars. I

  632. loved that Brother Samuel went and got the biggest barrel.

  633. He literally got a fifty five gallon barrel and brought

  634. it in this church house. While others brought little containers

  635. that hold a few fluid ounces, Brother Samuel brought a

  636. container that would hold a lot of fluid ounces. I

  637. liked that I could hear Mama as she said, that's right, Faith,

  638. get some personal convictions of you on and let them

  639. be big enough. I guarantee you that little widow lady

  640. had a small pot of oil, and some of those

  641. vessels she poured into were small and had just what

  642. be of little value. Don't bring me any more of them.

  643. I need something bigger, because I got to pay for

  644. your height. If this is all we got in this neighborhood,

  645. we're in trouble. And that's what I want to ask

  646. in this holiness movement. Have we got to the place

  647. where all we have is little vessels? Somebody better close

  648. the door of the prayer closet because God said, whenever

  649. you go behind closed doors in that prayer closet and

  650. you do what you need to do, God will reward

  651. you openly. And that's what God was telling Elisha to

  652. tell this woman. You close the door on doubton, Debbie,

  653. you close the door on compromising Camella, are y'all with me?

  654. And you need to have revival. You need to have

  655. a person of revival. There's some of you I dare

  656. to say, who don't have the holy ghosts have never

  657. fasted three days? And when you do it, you have

  658. to do it through humility and sincerity and honesty. God,

  659. if I don't have a when the creditor comes again,

  660. I'm gonna be found lacking. And according to Matthew twenty five,

  661. brother chif Froy, when the bride groom came, I don't

  662. want to be a bridesmaid. I want to be the bride.

  663. Them five wives and five foolish were bridesmaids. But the

  664. truth is they got to go in there. The wise did.

  665. The foolish didn't. Why because they didn't have enough hold

  666. in their vessels and they were out. I want to

  667. tell you off something right now. If you ain't got

  668. all on that great getting up morning and that was

  669. going to secure your greatest possessions. And I haven't struggled

  670. preaching in that, and I haven't missed it. But I

  671. asked sister how recently, I said, you can see out

  672. of the seventy to eighty. That's a best way every

  673. service there's about sixty five. I'm telling you they just

  674. soaring and riding on jet fuel, and you can tell

  675. they have old in their vessel and old in the lamp.

  676. And since the how when they get low they come

  677. to service and they get their vessel in their lamp refilled.

  678. But there's some running on empty. I have seen more

  679. preachers in the Holiness movement Pentecostal movements nowadays preaching without

  680. all in their vessel than I've ever seen before. It

  681. is why they have been found guilty of plagiarism. It

  682. is why they would waste precious people's time at a

  683. youth camp and compare our preachers to nominal preachers. I'm

  684. not interested in being unwise and comparing myself to others.

  685. I need to compare myself to the bridegroom. And I

  686. want to say something again, I don't want to be

  687. a bride'smaid. I want to be the bride. But Brother Nathaniel,

  688. we come to church and we say I brought a vessel,

  689. and sister, how they didn't take the time to dump

  690. out the worthless content of that vessel? Sister faith, But

  691. what you told me your conviction is that contemporary music

  692. isn't doing any good for you. I do know a

  693. lot of them. Contemporary artists of contemporary music struggle with homosexuality.

  694. I can understand why somebody would be convicted of contemporary

  695. Christian music, But since the how some of them come

  696. up to the altar with little vessels and they say,

  697. fail me, Lord, and they barely pour out the contents

  698. of what's in that vessel. Pride Preacher, if you spend

  699. your time listening to oneness preachers and admire them so

  700. much that you want to be like them and preach

  701. like them, they have become your spiritual hero. When you

  702. deem their material to be more fitting for trinitarian holiness people,

  703. there's no doubt they are an idol and a hero

  704. under you, preacher, And any holiness preacher that would plage

  705. your eyes a oneness preacher while persecuting a oneness person

  706. is a hypocrite. I can't trust. But the reason why

  707. you had to plage your eyes another sermon material is

  708. because you have no oil. Somebody's not going behind closed

  709. doors and talking to Jehovah because we get the content

  710. for our messages while on our knees he pours oil

  711. and vessels. And I felt like closing with this. Brother

  712. Nathaniel Jesus said, I am the door, and on one

  713. side of that door that you need to close that Jesus,

  714. and on the other side is the world. It was

  715. the same thing with the arc. God closed that door

  716. and knowing his family of eight was unable to be

  717. distracted by what was going on outside. And I gonna

  718. admit to you, you're living in perilous times. But we

  719. haven't heard in our day and now of a holiness

  720. preacher having to be let down a wall in a

  721. basket in these United States. In these United States, we're

  722. yet to hear of a holiness pasture being stoned and

  723. left for dead by physical stones, by verbal stones of

  724. other holiness preachers that love the truth. No lovers of

  725. the truth want stone their brother in Christ. Sister, I've

  726. been praying for you, grandson. He just turned thirty two.

  727. That's what he told us tonight. Right today, God reminded

  728. me of when I had that minor heart attack, that

  729. issue with my heart, when it stopped beating and I

  730. went out of this world and laid lifeless in the

  731. bed after Sister, how my family prayed. After about thirty

  732. five minutes, the ambulance came and I revived without them

  733. putting any equipment on me. At some point I revived.

  734. I remember way waking up, reviving to my family and

  735. sister how praying over me as I laid into bed immediately.

  736. My heart rate was normal, my blood pressure was normal.

  737. But they took me onto the hospital trying to find

  738. out why did his heart stop beating. I remember when

  739. it started getting real slow, Brother Nathaniel. We were sitting

  740. in a restaurant in Sun City Center or in Ellington, Florida.

  741. There was a ruby Tuesday. They had just served us

  742. our food, and I remember feeling weak, and I told sister,

  743. how sad my body's shutting down. I went out laid

  744. in a vehicle, Brother Jesse. When they took me to

  745. the hospital, in walked Jean Wooton. He said, Pastor, I've

  746. drove nearly three hours as soon as I heard I

  747. want to come to you. I find it no surprise

  748. that Brother Tyler would have been telling his grandmother last

  749. night that the two greatest influencers in his life has

  750. been his grandpa and his pastor, because I have felt

  751. that so strongly today. But Brother Tyler, if something doesn't

  752. happen to you radically spiritually, you will live the rest

  753. of your life just as you are now. You'll be

  754. a great guy. You'll be a great friend, you'll be

  755. a good church worker. But you'll live your life, but

  756. just a little oil in the vessel. And this is

  757. what I want to tell you all. If what you

  758. got can't keep you from spending countless hours on YouTube,

  759. and if what you got can't keep you from living

  760. in condemnation, and if what you got does it convict you,

  761. you're in trouble. Because when the bride cometh and the

  762. archangel says, behold the bridegroom cometh, it's gonna be too

  763. late to buy oil. When we bury Sister Whooting, it's

  764. gonna be too late for Brother Tyler to say, Grandma,

  765. lay your hands on me and breathe the holy breath

  766. of God in them my soul, and say, receive you

  767. the Holy ghost. But you can do that all you

  768. want to, as long as you bring vessels that are full,

  769. and you'll leave with nothing. But when you get hungry

  770. and you get sick of the things of this world,

  771. and you get tired of the things of this world,

  772. and you get empty, and you close a hotel door,

  773. and brother Caleb says me, and my daddy is going

  774. to be ministering the lost people, and my Daddy can't

  775. carry this burden alone. We got to hear from Heaven.

  776. He closed that door, Sister Faith. He knelt on the

  777. other side of that bed. He testified tonight today or yesterday,

  778. last week, three years ago, he received the Holy Ghost.

  779. If you listen to what Brother Kayla Brocap says was

  780. when Sister Simmons was having a good time having a vacation,

  781. there's no sin in that she has the Holy Ghost.

  782. She wasn't thinking like he was thinking. But for brother Caleb,

  783. he had to drown out to distractions and says to

  784. how he said when he got frustrated at the distractions,

  785. he cried out to God. God helped me to focus

  786. on my need. Help me to focus on what I

  787. need right now. And God gloriously filled him with a

  788. holy ghost. And Brother Jesse, I've got both hands. If

  789. you could see me spiritually, I've got both hands up

  790. in the air. And I have asked repeatedly God in

  791. the last two weeks, what else can I do? What

  792. else can be done? Because the environment here is great,

  793. the atmosphere here's service at the service is saturated. For

  794. some of you that have refused to lift up your

  795. voice and praise the Lord. As Isaiah one in twenty said,

  796. is it rebellion? Because if it is, the devourer is coming.

  797. And that's what I want to tell you. Forget about

  798. when the cops come for you. Forget about when the

  799. earthly creditors come for you. Be concerned about when the

  800. spiritual creditors come to collect on your debt. When you've

  801. played with the piper, you're gonna pay the piper. I'd

  802. rather do this. This is what has haunted me in

  803. a good way, but it should trouble you. God has

  804. spoken into my heart repeatedly in the last two weeks.

  805. They that sow to the wind shall reap the whirlwind.

  806. May we stand right now on the other side of

  807. the door of the ark. There are many distractions. In fact,

  808. some people in this building tonight better closed the door

  809. have distractions immediately, and they're gonna come at you from

  810. every angle if you don't. Sister faith Ropcap can tell

  811. you she dealt with a distraction today contemporary Christian music.

  812. I can tell you again that big name holiness preacher

  813. in the middle of a good message got distracted by

  814. the devil and mocked good sincere holy people and talked

  815. in the He'll billy a country to a temporary However,

  816. you simpletons bumping and say it, sister Walker, in that moment,

  817. there was a bad spirit in that man, and his

  818. son is now an open homosexual. How are those distractions

  819. working out for you? Here's what I had happened to

  820. me in that office, brother Samuel. I was seeking the Lord,

  821. and I saw a church and in it was God's people,

  822. and a lot of them are in this building tonight,

  823. and they had their eyes closed and squinting right now,

  824. and they were praying and trying to get the mind

  825. of the Lord and seeking God like they're doing right now.

  826. And outside was a bunch of clowns circling the church,

  827. and they formed a parade. And there was some people

  828. inside of this building that was so focused on the

  829. clown's parade they missed what was going on. And God said, Jeremy,

  830. that's what's happened into three people at and that's also

  831. happening to people that are listening to this message tonight,

  832. and knows that will be listening to this message in

  833. the upcoming days. They are dangerously distracted by surfing this

  834. and that on the internet, looking at what this and

  835. that church is doing compromising judging, comparing themselves, but not

  836. having an experience for themselves. They should be dragging themselves

  837. to a place that is a house of oil. They

  838. should be seeing to it that their limps are full

  839. of oil and that their light is shining. They're comparing

  840. themselves by others. Sister, how as the Holy Ghost moves

  841. on you, even now as you feel the desperation this

  842. woman was desperate. Her greatest possessions are about to be

  843. sold on an auction block.
