Are You Revolving Or Evolving - Pastor J. D. Howell 3-25-2026

You revolving or evolving. Beloved, will you turn with me

to the Book of Hebrews. May I direct your attention

to the thirteenth chapter and verse number eight, Brother Nathaniel Matthew,

chapter number five and verse number eighteen, and Brother Jesse

Isaiah chapter number forty and verse number eight. I will

try to be as brief as possible. I thank God

for the service thus far. I appreciate the testimony service

that we had. I appreciate what sister Wooton said about

dying to self. I want to commend sister Wooton on

her testimony for talking about so many people are selfish.

I don't want to be selfish. I want to be selfless.

And a lot of people are listening to the flesh.

We should not listen to the flesh. And when you

listen to the flesh, you end up evolving. When you

listen to the spirit, the Spirit of God, the Word

of God, you will be revolving around the centerpiece Christ himself.

Brother Nathaniel Matthew, chapter number five and verse number eighteen,

My brother, for verily, I say unto you, till Heaven

and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in

no wise pass from my law till all be fulfilled.

Now those are words written in red red ink printed

upon that page. Now, Brother Nathaniel, just read to you.

So those are the words of the Word himself, Brother

Jesse Isaiah, chapter number forty and verse number eight. The

grass withereth, the flower fadeth, But the word of our

God shall stand forever. Amen and amen. Let's stand for

the reading of our golden text Hebrews, chapter number thirteen

and verse number eight. Is good to see you in

the house of the Lord tonight. The Bible says Jesus

Christ the same yesterday and today and forever. Read that

with me, Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever.

Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for

the opportunity to be in the house of the Lord tonight.

I thank you for this, thy people. Lord.

His brother Thomas Sterrett has said recently, we pray that

we would have ears to hear, ears that are capable

of hearing what the Spirit of God says into the church.

God.

We pray that we would not be hearers only, but

that we would heed, that we would do that we

would take action to these things that we have heard God.

I pray that you would anoint this thy servants, sead

of God at my mouth and help me to say

the things you would have me to say. Let me

speak your word. I thank you for your word being

absolute truth. I pray God that you would bless this people,

be with them as they travel home tonight. And maybe

we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully in Jesus's name.

And the church said, Amen, as you're being seated, look

at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor.

Are you revolving or evolving?

Our text is found in a New Testament Book of

the Holy Bible. The Book of Hebrews was written for

Hebrew Christians who were considering changing their mind about serving Jesus.

Sister Wooton says a lot of times during our services

that she has never been sorry since the day she

decided to serve the Lord. I have heard my bride,

sister Charity howell, upon numerous occasions them being services, her

saying the best decisions she ever made was to make

the Lord Jesus Christ her personal lord and savior. And

brother Tyler Wooton told me one time, he said at

Bethel there's not a time that I've ever heard the

song saying, I've never been sorry that the Spirit of

God hasn't moved. And that has been because there are

people in this building that really have no shame or

regret for making that decision to serve the Lord. There's

some people regretting some of the life's decisions and choices

that they have made. But this is a people, This

is a house full of people that are not at

all sorry about accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord. So

these Jews or these hebrew people were attempting to turn

back onto Judaism from Christianity. I have no idea why

men turn back or why they go back. Why do

they seek the weak and the beggarly elements of the world.

Why did deem Us forsake the Apostle Paul? The Apostle

Paul said it was something as simple as this. He

loved the present world, and this last Sunday night, I

explained to you my feeling concerning that. I said, I

felt like the Lord revealed to me that Demus had

the spirit of the world in his heart all along,

even while he was working amongst the brothers and sisters

of supposedly light precious faith. He appears three times in

the Sacred written. The first and the second times that

he appears, you can tell this man is present, but

I don't know that he is present in spirit, hand

in heart. So apparently the Apostle Paul, who is the

author of this book of Hebrews, he notices there's some

other people in this particular area that's wanting to reverse

their course and go back into Judaism. So the Apostle

Paul decided to give them this epistle. And this epistle

is intended to pour fuel their Christian experience, and he

urged these believers, these young Christians of the Early Church,

to pursue righteousness and perfection concerning things related to their

walk with the Lord. Paul had been in their shoes,

so to speak. He had been the perfect Judaizer. He

came to the realization that Jesus is greater than Moses,

Angels and the priest of the Temple. He understood this,

and he emphasized that in this writing. Our golden text

is Hebrews, chapter number of thirteen and verse number eight,

and it reads like this, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today,

and forever within the religion of Judaism. Paul had achieved

a great degree of success, but he knew he was

missing something. And he found that that he was missing

in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And after he

met the Lord Jesus Christ on that road that led

to the city of Damascus, he felt fulfilled. And Brother Nathaniel,

upon this revelation and discovery of Christ, he realized that

without a doubt, Jesus Christ is an unchanging God. For years,

we have heard it said that people change, but God

doesn't change. I've heard that since I was a little

boy sitting in the pews of various churches. And I'm

here to remind you tonight that Jesus is the same today, yesterday,

and forever. You see, according to the Word of God,

the soul of mankind belongs to God, and so does

the Church. The church itself is supposed to be the

bride of Christ. And can I say in the Epistle

to the Church at Corintha, in the Book of Corinthians,

we hear the church.

And addressed as the Church of God.

And I want you to know here tonight that no

matter the location of the church, if it is in

label Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Kenya, Honduras or Mexico. The

Church of God is supposed to be a people of truth.

The bride is supposed to be one that loves the truth,

and she herself is trustworthy. The Church is the bride.

Should I say it again, the Church is the bride,

no matter her geographic location. So the Church that belonged

to God was found in Corintha, and this church that

belongs to God is found on Cornelia Drive. The Church

might have been something completely new to these Hebrew believers,

but the.

Early Church had his nature.

Every one of them would tell you they had gone

through a spiritual metamorphosis, that they began in the flesh

and they ended up in the spirit. They would say,

old things have passed away and all things have become new.

Without hesitation or reservation, even if their life was on

the line, they would admit to a new creature or

a new creation experience. And that is the problem with

a lot of people within this generation, and you will

notice it more in the upcoming days. They are not

recipients of saving grace that yields a new creature experience. So,

no matter your location, missionaries take note of this, the

bride will be a person of truth, or an assembly

of truth, or a family or people of truth, because

them they have the new nature. So brother erin Worth,

the Church had his nature, that is the new nature,

that they experienced His nature. They had it so well

that when the observer looked upon them, they called them

Christians because they were so christ alike. So again I say,

the Church belongs to God, just as.

All souls belong to God.

And the same way God breed in the natural man's

nostrils and they became a living soul. The same thing

happens when God breathed into that spiritual man. God gave

that spiritual man life. So God gives both the spiritual

man and the natural man life. And whether naturally or spiritually,

we live and move and have our being. The soul

and the Church cannot exist without God. I want you

to know here tonight that there are a lot of

people proclaiming to be part of the family of God.

They would go on to say they are the bride

of Christ.

Then we have to ask this question, why have they

not departed from iniquity.

Let him that nameth the name.

Of the Lord, depart from iniquity, the Bible said, And

so the Hebrew Christians work to be the.

Offspring of God.

As much as the gentile Christians in Corinth were to

be the offspring of God. Being born of the Lord

and being led of Jesus Christ is what makes it

the church. I'm trying to teach last preach to you

here tonight. If you will get a hold of what

I'm preaching tonight, you will never have to worry about

the spirit of compromise taking you away from your Lord.

We are people of a different nature and culture. We

have been alienated from the world, yet we live in

the world. We live in an ever changing world. If

you would, we live in a world that is evolving.

Let's spring forward into what the Lord had laid upon

my heart yesterday.

It is this thought.

Our culture and nature totally revolves around the Word himself.

When sister Charity Howell married your pastor, brother Jeremy Howell,

a lot of outsiders and oldlookers looked into that situation

and they said, without a doubt, this woman's world revolves

around her husband. That is not a bad thing, and

the same thing should be said about the.

Bride of Christ.

Their world should be revolving around God's son.

I know the.

Christian Church world today, for the most parting is no

longer revolving around the bridegroom.

They are no longer.

Revolving around His word, and most of them aren't anyway,

have it? You notice that they are evolving into something

other than the bride of the bridegroom as found in

the Sacred Rent. And they can't be the bride brother

ethan road cap because the bridegroom is no longer in

the center of their life, their world, their heart, their

being isn't revolving around him. They are evolving into something

instead of revolving around him. Many so called Christian churches

have decided to embrace relevant truth and rather than absolute truth.

About eighteen and a half years ago, I was preaching

in more Haven, Florida, a message that God that put

upon my heart.

And I don't know really exactly what I said.

I have lone been since misplaced the notes of that message,

but the context of it was and absolute truth and

being that that we need and that that matters most,

and how God was an unchanging God. As soon as

we open the altars and for the altar service, a

young woman that attended a local high school. She ran

to the altar and she said these words, I can't

believe it. I can't believe it. Just today my professor

was teaching us about relevant truth and telling us to

disregard the absolute truth to the Bible. There was no

doubt to anybody present that God had spoken to that

young lady that she better hold on to the unchanging.

Word of God.

And we love to sing the song that speaks of

holding on to the unchanging her arm of God. But

what about holding on to the bridegroom him myself? Getting

a white knuckle grip, hold that copy of the English

King James translation and believe in it is.

The word of the bridegroom, that it is the word

of God. And in this word of God.

We find the feelings harp the bridegroom concerning her homosexuality.

And I will a preach tonight to Pentecostal and holding

us people that God is still feeling the same way

and about the sin of homosexual reality that if forty

many so called Christian churches have decided that the sin

of homosexuality, he is that offensive to Christ. And the

reason for this is they are evolving rather than revolving

another generation of young men and young women the knight

that it is not okay to have same sex attraction.

The sin of homosexuality, He's an abomination to.

The Lord Jesus.

The first chapter of the Book of Romans, the apostle

Paul told some gentile believers who would soon face Ah

for tearing the of Nero. Oh, come on now, he

told them in that first chapter, of the grossness of

the sin of homosexuality. You can go back into the

Old Testament and you can see.

That the bedroom was telling the bride back.

Then about how it Felton about this detestable, deploreble disgusting

sin in the book of Levitica.

So there are.

Numerous scriptures with a bridegroom told Moses how he felt

about sin of homosexuality. I want you to know the

word of God is absolute truth.

It's absolutely true, in correct.

And Cornelia trife it was true with Moses put in

the parchment that told Israel what the bridegroom said. And

I want you to know the night it is still

true that God does not reek actor sina of homosexuality.

This is the ineric, infallible, never changing word of God. Matthew,

Chapter number five, verse number eighteen, it says, for barely

I say to you, till heaven and earth pass one

jot or one tittle, shall in no wise pass from

the law till all be fulfilled. Sister Wood knows that

accuse you of being old fogie, old fashion, old school

how to touch with the bridegroom.

They can keep on evolving, but I can tell.

You are anchored in bedrock because your world revolves around

the bridegroom, and pleasing him is all that matters. And

in Matthew's Gospel, chapter number five. He was saying, Brother Nathaniel,

heaven and nurse, we'll pass one day, but until then,

there will not be one punctuation mark, one verse of

scripture that shall pass or be removed till all be fulfilled.

And Sister Charity, how I want to tell you something.

You are one that loves the scriptures, and she is

a keeper of the law or the word of God.

It is not that they're trying to be legalistic.

It is not that they're trying to be bigger and

better than somebody else. And it is not that they're

trying to operate in their owner righteousness, which would be

as somebody operating or conducting business and filthy rags.

The sister, how will oh?

I feel like preaching to somebody in this building here tonight?

Itim she treasures the Word of God and the latter

part of that versus something I don't want you to

ever forget. Let's push past the comma. I don't know

if there's a common there or not. I'm preaching right now.

But at the end of that verse it said to

you all be fulfilled? Is there a comma before that

word to you? Matthew five and eighteen, there should be

till law be fulfilled. I tell you what was fulfilled

in the law. The ceremonial law was fulfilled.

Is there one there? There is one there.

I'm telling you by the Jesse earth in heaven they

can pass away.

But until then God ain't gonna change his mind.

Ho anything. The ceremonial law was not done away with.

It was fulfilled. And that's what the apostle Paul was

telling Judaizers that we're thinking about going back into Judaism.

He was saying, the ceremonial law was forfilled in Jesus.

He was the substitutionary sacrifice. He was the sinless, spotless

little lamb. He was the great high priest. He was

high by angels. He is a propitiation. He is as

a nation. He is wonderful, He is counselor. He is

the might of God. He is so much higher than

the age ols kill all be fulfilled. Well, he hasn't

done away with a sanitary code. He hasn't done away

with a moral law. And that's what these people are doing.

They're trying to do away with a moral law. Y'all

pray for me. Our United States Constitution is over two

hundred and thirty years old.

I used to know a whole lot more about it

than I do now.

You old timers know what I'm talking about. We've been

graduated for a good while.

Now we get.

Around the age of fifty, and our memory is supposed

to fade a little bit, and sometimes forgetting some things

is a good thing. I notice that I forget things

now that I probably would have.

Remembered just a few years back.

And I have somewhat considered it to be a blessing,

Brother Nathaniel, that I cannot recount or recite some of

the heartbreaks that I've experienced in pastoral ministry.

Praise the Lord.

You may think I remember how you disappointed me ten

years ago, but more than likely I don't remember. But

I do remember learning in school that the United States

of America Constitution that it had been amended over twenty

something times, Brother Nathaniel, todaytum it has been amended up

to twenty seven times. Listen, the Word of God has

never had a need to evolve. The Word of God

has never had a need to be amended. The word

evolved means to develop or achieve gradually. Did y'all get

tacked to the word evolve means to a chieve or

to develop gradually. Jesus Christ has not had to figure

out how to command humanity here to do things. Jesus

has not tried to figure out how to keep us

from being deplorable and detestable and despicable.

He put it in our way in his Word of how.

We can live and how we can move, and how

we can have our being so as to not be

grievous to him. If you'll get it here tonight, you'll

love that Bible enough that you'll die for it. It

doesn't matter what happens to this country. It doesn't matter

how much our constitution evolves. You will stand alone on

the Word of God. Has little children, we sing it,

and the booster man around here sings it often.

The b I b l e.

Yes, that is the book for me. I'll stand alone

on the Word of God. The b I b l

e children. What does that mean? It means the word

of God. He is our anchor. The earth is only

a few thousand years old.

I believe this.

I have always believed it since I was a little boy.

The earth is not hundreds of billions of years old.

I have heard have a looseness, and scientists and paleontologists

that believe that the world and the creatures are evolving

try to explain how the Earth is actually two hundred

billion years old and versus what somebody in the generation

before them taught was.

Ninety seven million years old.

Sister Howell, that is definitely a very wide margin of

error to me. I don't think they're even within the

margins of the Bible, and the Bible is said.

Teaches you that the earth is young. I've been all

over this world, so to.

Speak, definitely been in more countries than most of the

people that I know. And I can tell you when

I look at it, I can see the ebuditions of

Noah's flood, but I do not see a prehistoric or

an ancient earth. Geography tell us that. Geologists will tell

us that. Come on now, Archaeologists can tell you that

hold them on. Ancient cities look cold, don't they. They

uncover them, they pull the sand back them, and they

date them, and they're only a couple hundred years older,

or they're only a couple of thousand years old. I

tell you, this world may be anywhere between six thousand

or ten.

Thousand years old.

I don't want to be one that is evolving as

culture changes or is our society develops. I want to

be one that is centered on the Word of God,

focused on the center piece of creation, focus on the

center piece of hony mail humanity. I'm asking you here tonight,

are you evolving? For you evolving? If you're evolving, you

will fall astray. So many people have departed from the

faith because they were evolving. Sister, how I know a

little bit about science. I know there's something in genetic

code called epigenetics, the study of the genetic code that

sometimes when you take a certain creature and you take

it out of as a natural environment and you introduce

it into another environment. Because of the knowledge of our

God and him being the programmer of that code, you

can take something, brother Jesse, that's not supposed to be hairy,

and you can put it up there in Alaska, and

after three or four generations, you'll notice the hair fibers

are a lot more in number.

Oh, come on this, they're thicker, they're longer.

Brother Jonathan brought my ponies over here to the pasture

last night, late after eleven o'clock, and he told me today,

he said, Papa, they're beginning to lose their winter coat.

And he said, look how pretty they're looking. I said, oh, yeah,

they're looking pretty sleep, aren't they. They're losing that winter coat.

I'll tell you who's programming that. Who is the one

that is behind that. It is by intelligent design. He

is the architect of the universe. All of the universe,

come on now, is under his command. And brother Ethan

rod Cap he's ruling it from the sitting position. I

believe that. Do you all believe that sitting right there

have the right hand of the Father. The Word can

speak one time, and that is enough. The Word can speak,

and trees can be formed. The Word can speak, and

vegetation can be formed. The Word can speak, and the

dry land and the water be separated. And I want

you to know the Word can speak, and healing to

the prodigal can take place. Oh thank God. He is

the Word, that is the bridegroom. And if you are

up his nature, I said it early on. Natural man

exists because of him. And if you're really born again,

your nature and your culture will be.

That of a Christian someone that is cross like.

They are preaching now progressive Salvation listen, you can take

them horses and put them in Alaska, and those that

don't winter coats will begin to grow winter coats. But

I ain't seen none of them little ponies turn in

the Rhinoceroses. I know that man did not come from monkeys.

I'll tell you who's hoping we did. Those that are

interested in the world evolving, I've seen businesses evolve from

one thing to another. I've seen handrail shops evolve in

the structural steel shops. I've seen Baptist churches evolve in

the holiness churches.

You know why that happened.

Because they were revolving around the Word of God. I'm

asking you here tonight, what matters to you? Evolving gradually,

achieve in salvation progressively.

I don't believe in that.

I've heard Pentecostal preachers, recent living preacher progressive salvation. I

don't believe that if any man be the offspring of God,

if any man be out of the lords of God,

if any man be God's side, if anybody be labeled

the bride of the bridegroom, they are a new creature.

Whole things have passed away.

Behold, all things have become new make no mistake about it.

They may be evolving, but they are not revolving. Amen.

Amen, God has been speaking to mankind since the beginning

of time. Geology, biology, and paleontology puts to Earth as

a young Earth. Scientists have supposedly collected evidence. They've ran

around here and there, and when they exhumed things out

of the ground, they interrupt great.

Fair rouse, resting in peace situation.

And brother Jesse just rudely disrupt the dead that are

lying there supposedly in peace.

And look at them bones that.

Say when they've been there thousands upon thousands of years.

And then I look at these dinosaur bones of these

big beasts that without a doubt did exist, and they

try to say they were here two hundred million years ago.

I look at sister Hown and I say, well that

the bones kind of look about like the bones that

Pharaoh did that they said is on a couple thousand

years old. I don't quite understand, brother Kayla, what they're

talking about. They so bad wanna evolve for y'all, and

that's what they're doing in the churches. They're evolving into

accepting everything. Oh, come on, now, the church is no

longer church. It's a club that they're they're leaving traditional

worshiping there evolving into something situational or contemporary.

They're evolving in the something relative.

Come on. I told the missionaries that I'm affiliated with,

especially Brother Nathaniel, that it does not matter where we go,

if it's in Honduras, Guatemala, or Kenya, we're gonna find

people evolving around the world of God, and they're gonna

be recipients of the new nature. They're gonna embrace the

biblical culture. But that's what's happening with a lot of

the modern churches of America. They are evolving, Brother Jesse,

if I had to guess, I would say there's probably

even some that have named their fellowships or their churches evolve.

I am not at all interested in evolving. I thank

God for the Word of God. I thank God for

the opportunity to grow in grace. I'm thankful we can

achieve a greater grace and a greater glory. I'm thankful

that we can grow in the knowledge of the Lord's

Savior Jesus Christ, with the purpose to fulfill perfection. Dedicated

to the pursuit of perfection because it is his nature

to be whole.

It is his nature to be holy.

Our righteousness may be as filthy rags, but when the

bride is married to the bridegroom, she doesn't glory in

her filthy rags. She wants to be pleasing to the bridegroom,

and she wants to be as holy.

As he wants her to be.

When he says, please be holy, when he commands you

be perfect, we know what you're gonna.

Shide to be perfect. We're gonna fight to get the

parasites off.

You're gonna fight to cleanse yourself from all filthiness of

on the flesher and the spirit. Oh Thy God, you

will wanna perfect holiness in his side.

The church is evolving.

They're allowing people to congratulate couples that conceived out of wedlock.

They are allowing because they have evolved to be ultra

sensitive to the feelings of everybody in the building. And

it doesn't matter what the bridegroom's feelings are. They're supposed

to be the bride, and they're worried about the bride's

feelings so much at that couple that's been checking up

and singing in the praise team or playing in the

praise band for a while.

They don't know how to explain it.

But somehow the girlfriend in that relationship it has conceived

as pregnant how to wedlock.

And they've been, you know, role models in the church.

They supposedly been examples, brother Philip, and they're supposed to

stand there at the door and say, well, congratulations, hold

it to your expectancy. I'm not for being mean, I'm

not for being harmful, I'm not for being harsh. I'm

not gonna congratulate you as you evolve into something that's

anti totally one other percent, oh scriptural. I'll never forget

that young woman standing there and saying, my pastor just

preached on absolute truth and my professor, I guess in

high school it would have been my teacher's teaching me.

You change with your environment, you change with society, you

change with culture. And Sister woot and I have been

told that effeminate men are standing up behind poolpits in

Holiness and Pentecostal churches. And I had a young man

that is a third generation Holiness preacher who was at

the brink of harming himself, and no names have been called.

He said, what I don't understand is I'm not good

enough because of this and that. He said, But that

tinker Bell can get up there and preach and talk

like a girl and be a sissy and be effeminate.

And he said, my family members act like they can't

see it, or act like nothing. That's what happens whenever

you're evolving. I don't want to go from having a

dream to it evolving into a nightmare. And that's what's happening,

Brother Nathaniel. What began a pool of life, it has

evolved into a sesspool, all the while saying we are

the bride of the bridegroom. But I'm here to tell you,

when you have stopped revolving around the bridegroom, you have

begun to evolve into something queer, something bizarre, something extreme,

something ecitric, something strange. And the Church of God should

not be queer, and it should not be strange.

Amen.

The word doesn't evolve. The world evolves. And I'm talking

about the people of this world, not the creation and

not the animals of the animal kingdom, but the people

of this world are evolving. Abraham knew the lifestyles and

practices of pagans and heathens were unacceptable to a holy

God back in his day when God, by divine intervention,

went to Abraham and said, I need to tell you

about something. I'm fixing the destroyer Sodom and Gamar. Why Lord,

for the gross sin of homosexuality. And as far as

I know, it is not in Bethel, and up to

this date, it has not been here. There's eighty of

you in the building night or near about.

And this church.

Didn't tolerate the sin of homosexuality. And they may take

this sermon one day and use it in this country

against me and call it hate speech. And I know

what's on the line right now because it's being broadcasting

and it will be preserved and archived on our broadcast,

our podcast. But brother Jessee, I don't care if it's

fifty years from now, thirty years from now. But if

it's thirty years from now, the church and this world

has evolved to the place that they consider the words

of my preaching words of hate and in my sermons

or hate speech, I'm okay with them coming thirty years

from now to an eighty year old preacher and putting

cuffs on me and arresting me for what I said

in twenty twenty six, I'm okay with that, because I

stand alone on the word of God. I get nervous

when preachers go into other countries and they tell me

God send them to go there, and because they're afraid

of being arrested, preach in a manner that's different than

how they will preach here. So Abraham knew that God

was serious, and he destroyed the sister cities Sodom and

Gammar for the sin of homosexuality. And then Paul is

telling Christians in Nero's Rome that the sin of homosexuality

is totally unacceptable. And I want to tell you tonight,

the USA Constitution may be amended until it is destroyed,

until it evolves into something Brother Nathaniel, our fore fathers,

our founding fathers, would have never believed it would become.

It can become as worthless as the paper it's written on.

After peace will continue to develop it to suit their lifestyles.

But that's what I ap appreciate about this book. It

will never be amended, That's what he said. It will

never be revised. It will be the same for Ada

as it was for Philip. It'll be the same for

Samuel stared as it was for Thomas Starrett. We took

ada out to eat today, and Brother Jesse. She's a

lot smarter than she should be at that age. I

heard a little voice saying, Papa, Papa, Papa. I finally looked,

and she heard some secular music playing, and Brother Caleb.

She closed her eyes and went to rocking with it.

And then she opened her eyes to see if I

was watching her. And then when I quit watching her,

she did it again, Papa. And as soon as she

maintained eye contact with me for a little while, she

made sure I was watching it went back to and

Mimi said, you know what she's doing. I said, yeah,

she's having church. She don't know any better. She heard

good music and I am not condoning music. I'm talking

about a fancy beat, and she was getting them with it.

And you know what, Sister Wootin. There's a lot of

people they'll just let that evolve right into a monster.

But already Sister Elizabeth was saying, we're not in church.

That's not Jesus music. She wasn't gonna let that evolve

into a bad situation. Now, I want us to stand,

if you would please, I am more out. Are you

hoping that Bethel, or the church or the bride will

develop into something that will meet your expectations eventually? I

pray to God that never happens, Sister Woot, And I

hope this church never evolves into the place where it's

nothing but chaos and confusion when a preacher tries to

preach because so many people have different versions of the

Bible in their hands. I hope it never evolves into

something where it becomes more of a social club instead

of a sanctuary. I hope it never evolves into something

where club music is acceptable and traditional songs like Amazing

Grace are found to be old fashioned. Brother Samuel knows

how Great Thou Art is my favorite song. For years,

we felt like he needed to learn to play the banjo,

and he's doing that now. And he set me an

audio clip of him playing how Great Thou Art? Of

all songs, and of course I went through that mental exercise.

Does that mean I'm about to die? Because that sure

would sound good grave side, because everybody knows that's my

favorite song. So he's been working tirelessly, Sister Megan said,

sometimes sitting there for over an hour and a half

learning to pick that song, and I actually smiled real big,

and I said, Lord, that would be wonderful. It didn't

drop me to my knees. It didn't make me fearful.

I said, that'd be wonderful if you were so mindful

of me, if I'm about to lose my life, that

you'd get my son ready to pick. How great thou

art Grave sided, that'd be great, Sister. We have seen

our church evolve in our music program. They have gradually

developed into one of the finest anointed musical bands in

Pentecostal movements. And I thank God for progression. I thank

God for development, Sister, how I thank God for maturity.

But a bride she will grow as she revolves. I

can tell right now, having pastored for a good while now,

right at two decades twenty years, I can tell they're

waiting on me to say something else. Brother, yes, here,

push it to the shout. But tonight I want to

close on this note. What are you looking for? Because

my world revolves around this and I want Brother Jess

and Brother Nathaniel to put this altered dead center this church.

I felt led to the Lord to do this. Maybe

it's for the howel kids, the howl, grandkids. Just put

it right here. It's in him we live and move

and have our being. Sister Howell, I've struck an axis

and I'm walking the perimeter. And the thing about it

is Brother Nathaniel. As I stay focused on him, the

tighter of the circle and the closer I get.

When I got saved.

Thirty three years ago, I was a new creature with

a new nature and a new culture. And as I

grew in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord

and Savior Jesus Christ, as the years went on, I

got closer. The circle got tighter, the radius got shorter,

the circumference got less until sister woot and I'm like

John the Beloved, I'm just ready to get to him.

And there's some elders in this church. You have circled

him for a long time. Now it's about time for

you to go home. And what a day that's going

to be. When you close that distance and get so

close you can see him for yourself. You can behold

his face, and you can hold him enever let him go.

I watched as an assembly of God. Girl lost the

concept of evolving as a Christian and just is simply

revolving around Jesus. And I want to tell all of

our preachers here tonight, take your eye off the Word

of God and you'll begin to evolve. And if there's

any of you that have moved here that struggle with

a son of homosexuality, I don't know of anybody that does.

I doubt it. It's unlikely.

But I want to invite you when all of the

church comes together, I want to invite you to denounce

that spirit, deny that flesh, and say that is of

the spirit of Lucifer.

It's demonic.

How do you shout through a challenge like this, Brother Nathaniel,

Time will tell who wanted to evolve and who wanted

to revolve, because when Sister how and I was gone.

If they're wanting to evolve, they're going to put things

on that we took off. They're going to ask preachers

to allow things that we didn't allow. Are you wanting

me to evolve into that church pastor that you remember?

Are you wanting all of us to just revolve into.

Jesus?

Just keep circling him till all we see is his word?

Is this somebody besides Sister Charity Hound, Sister Irish wooting,

and a couple others that would be burdened the night

and crying and praying as Sister be anybody besides sys

to VICKI that understands what I preach tonight. In the

depths of it, it's late, but this is probably the

most critical alter call I've ever given. And there's gonna

be charismatic pastors, pastors and preachers and missionaries and evangelists

and teachers that are gonna listen to this message. And

Brother Nathaniel, they're literally gonna miss the centerpiece. They're gonna

miss the point, and they're gonna evolve.

You watch.

They're gonna follow preachers that are popular even within holiness

of Pentecostal movements. They're gonna change their standard because they

wanted to be accepted. They're gonna allow the dress code

to be altered, and they're gonna lose things that they

had a good grip on all because they've got their

eyes on somebody else and took their eyes off the Word.

And I could call five names of preachers you all

know right now, and if I called your name, you

would be aghast and be shocked. I can tell you

the names of preachers right now that are overlooking the

sin of plagiarism, getting in the pulpit and reading word

for word for thirty five minutes the words of another

preacher and acting like and even saying God gave them that,

and they had a bird and to preach that, And

Brother Jesse, they've evolved into a system that knows how

to have church. They've evolved into a political system. They

have a form of godliness. They have a political so

called Christian structure, Brother Nathaniel, they have an organization without

having an organization. They have an affiliation. They have a brotherhood.

Don't seem like a big deal right now, but if

I called their names, you'd be shocked. And the reason

it's gonna happen is because they're gonna stop looking at

the Bible and they're gonna say, well, I guess every

man needs to work out his own salvation. They're gonna

get to the place, Brother Nathaniel, where they don't care

what the Bible said. Judas looked at Jesus and he

didn't care what the word said. He was gonna do

it his way. And I want you to pray tonight

if your heart was really broken like.

Is you'd already be in the spirit right now, but

is there somebody in this building that needs to pray you?

Come on now.

Your problem is you're wanting us to evolve. You're wanting

to evolve. We're not going to match your mold. We're

not going to fit into your mold. We got one

thing we're standing on, and that is Him stand alone

in the Word of God.

He is our anchor. He's the only anchor here.
