All right, brother Rocap, do you remember exactly what you
-
said a little while ago about be sure to yield
-
do your part?
-
There it is here you go.
-
Need to surrender your plans and yield your will. You
-
need to surrender your plans and yield your will. And
-
I come tonight to preach on do your part so
-
God can do his. Brother Rocap, hold onto that microphone,
-
because I'm going to need you to read Malachi chapter
-
number two, versus number four through seven in about ten minutes.
-
Malachi chapter number two, verses number four through seven. Brother
-
Nathaniel Acts, Chapter number five, verses number one and two,
-
and Brother Jesse Matthew Chapter number five and verse number
-
thirty nine. Amen, and beloved, if you would turn with me,
-
let's turn to the book of Deuterotomy. May I direct
-
your attention to the eighteenth chapter and the third verse.
-
Brother Nathaniel Acts, Chapter number five, verses number one and two.
-
My brother and a.
-
Certain man named Ananias with Saphira his wife sold a
-
possession and kept back part of the price. His wife,
-
also being privy to it, and brought a certain part
-
and laid it at the apostles feet, and brought a
-
certain part and laid it at the apostle's feet. Well,
-
where was the other part? Where was the remaining parts?
-
Brother Jesse Matthew, Chapter number five, Verse number thirty nine,
-
My brother, but I say unto you that ye resist
-
not evil, but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right
-
cheek turned to him to him the other.
-
Also, amen, praise the Lord.
-
Deuteronomy chapter number eighteen, reading verses number one through four,
-
the Bible says the priest, the Levites and all the
-
tribe of Levi shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel.
-
They shall eat the offerings of the Lord made by
-
fire and his inheritance. Therefore shall they have no inheritance
-
among their brethren. The Lord is their inheritance, as he
-
has said unto them. And this shall be the priest
-
due from the people from them that offer a sacrifice,
-
whether it be aux or sheep. And they shall give
-
unto the Priest the shoulder and the two cheeks, and
-
the mall, the first fruit, also of thy corn, of
-
the wine, and of thine oil, and the first of
-
the fleece of thy sheep. Shalt thou give him Verse
-
number three will be our golden text. Tonight, and they
-
shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two
-
cheeks and the mall. May we pray, Heavenly Father, we
-
love and we praise you. We thank you for the
-
opportunity to be in your house tonight. I thank you
-
for this thy people. I pray God, you would anoint
-
them to have ears to hear what the spirit of
-
God says. And to the church, would you annoying us, Lord,
-
set a guard at our mouth, and help us to
-
say the things you would have us to say, nothing
-
more less anought the ears of this thy people, that
-
they might hear what the Spirit of God says under
-
the church. Let these sayings go below the shoulders, that
-
them saturate the spirit of the heart, the mind, the body.
-
I pray, Old God, let.
-
Us speak your words, not our words, And may we
-
depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully, in Jesus' name
-
in the church, said Amen, looking at the latter part
-
of verse number three. Again, the Bible says, and they
-
shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks,
-
and the ma all are the stomach. Our text is
-
found in an Old Testament Book of the Holy Bible.
-
The Book of Deuteronomy is a very interesting book. Within
-
the chapters of this sacred writing, the reader can read
-
some speeches or sermons that Pastor Moses, the Prince of
-
preachers and pastors, gave the specially chosen and selected Israelites.
-
God had chosen the Israelite people. They were His part
-
upon the face of the earth. God had chosen and
-
selected them for a very special place. And within the Israelites,
-
there was another group of people that were chosen to
-
occupy a very important and special place, and those people
-
were known as the Levites. And even within the Levites,
-
there was another special group of people that would occupy
-
a very important place and position, and those were the
-
descendants of Erin. They would take care of the priestly duties.
-
But all of the children of God were blessed because
-
they were chosen by God to stand out amongst the
-
people of this world. And truly they stuck out like
-
a sore thumb. And there's no doubt that among the Israelites,
-
the Levites were respected and revered because they had been
-
specially selected and chosen by God to be the ministers
-
of the Lord God Almighty and to see to it
-
that the tabernacle or God's House was well taken care of.
-
Thank God that there was another group of people that
-
God said, you know what, I'm gonna need somebody to
-
offer these sacrificial offerings during these ceremonial seasons and times
-
during these celebrations, even when these people come to make repentance.
-
Unto me, there's got to be some special people that
-
are chosen by Me to do what I've called them
-
to do. And I appreciate the fact that you, as
-
believers tonight stick out as a sore thumb does. Amongst
-
the seven billion people in this world, there's no doubt
-
many have been called and few have been chosen. I
-
know that even amongst those that feel like they're the chosen,
-
there are some people that seem to be more consecrated
-
and committed to the things of God. I'm thankful for
-
the ministers of the Gospel that began with the Apostles,
-
and men like John the Baptist and the Great Apostle
-
Paul that felt a heavenly call and a burden to
-
do something amongst their fellow men, amongst them to minister,
-
to preach passionately, to pray fervently, that God would send
-
forth revival. And for generations there's been men that have
-
stood up and said, you know what, I feel like
-
I received a special call and commission from the Lord.
-
It's a clarion call for commitment to ministerial service. So
-
we know, brother Jesse, that Moses was a special person
-
called by God, called out to be a witness, called
-
out to be a servant, called out to be a
-
leader of God's people. And Moses, like his sister mar
-
they were levit. But their brother Aaron, God saw something
-
in Erin, just like Moses had saw in their God
-
knew that Moses was right when Moses said that Erin
-
now he is of eloquent speech. That fellow right there
-
can pull words out of his vocabulary. He can speak
-
and just tickle the ears of men and women and
-
boys and girls.
-
And there's no.
-
Doubt in my mind why God chose my big brother
-
Aaron to be the founding member of the Royal Priesthood,
-
Brother Jesse, the descendants of Erin would seek to it
-
that those ceremonial sacrifices were offered in a timely manner.
-
And I feel like there's people in this building that
-
are prayer warriors, and they sense a need and an
-
obligation to offer holy incense on the behalf of people
-
in this building.
-
And I thank.
-
God for every prayer warrior that has found it to
-
be their position in this church family to pray for
-
the least and the lost and the lonely, and to
-
pray for those people that are amongst us that are needy,
-
even though they don't realize just how needy they are.
-
They have set aside time within every day to pray
-
that effectual, fervent prayer that avails much, and it has
-
definitely yielded wonderful things for our beautiful church family. I
-
wonder tonight if there's somebody in this building that's receiving
-
a clarion call for ministry just to be a prayer warrior,
-
or to be one of the church cleaners, or to
-
work and to labor sight unseen, or to just be
-
right out front, laboring and worshiping the Lord, or Brother
-
Jesse's somewhere behind closed doors, just doing whatever God had
-
told them to do. I don't know who, but I
-
know that Moses felt like it was his responsibility to
-
make sure that these Israelites learned the spiritual life. Lessons
-
that were to be learned, and for some reason, there
-
were those people in that congregation that numbered probably over
-
a million people that it took them over forty years
-
to master some of them life lessons that should have
-
been mastered in a few moments of time. At the longest,
-
they should have been mastered in a few months.
-
You see, it's evident that.
-
Right or wrong, Moses believed in these people. He didn't
-
feel that he was wasting his time or breath always
-
in every case, so he gave them some information and
-
instructions to hold on to after his death. Now, if
-
I'm not mistaken, after his death and his departure, there
-
were some that felt like they did not have to
-
continue on as he had instructed them to do. We
-
know the New Testament writer said, if you forget those
-
things that you have been taught, if you fail to
-
do those things that you have been shown to do,
-
if you build again those things that you once destroyed,
-
you make yourself a transgressor if you allow these things
-
that you have received to slip, you will drift away aimlessly.
-
And so we know a lot of the Israelites in
-
fact did drift away aimlessly, but not all men like
-
Caleb and Joshua's a few others. Definitely the time spent
-
when Moses was benefit to them. Hey, man, if I'm
-
not mistaken, I saw a messianic prophecy. In the eighteenth
-
chapter of the Book of Deuteronomy, Moses prophesied about the
-
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Also before his death
-
and departure. Moses said, in order things concerned the levitical priesthood.
-
To be specific, he believed that certain men and their
-
families were called and chosen by the Lord to special
-
service within the kingdom and the House of God. They
-
were to be ministers of servitude, men of an excellent work, ethic,
-
men that were committed, men that were dependable, men that
-
were ethical, men that were logical, men that were reasonable,
-
men that were available, men that would speak the truth
-
with love.
-
You see. Pastor Moses also warned the people.
-
That there would be corruption in the congregation if they
-
did not listen to his warnings, if they did not
-
give heed to the things that he had warned them about.
-
In fact, this corruption was going to be the Canaanites
-
and other people of other nations would come in and
-
penetrate the congregation. And they would lose their salvation or
-
their deliberance or their promised land. You see, Moses was
-
not an m and m a preacher, a something God
-
gave me in a time of prayer this evening. Moses
-
was not an m preacher. He was not a nix
-
and mingle preacher. He knew that they were to come
-
out from among the world and to be a separated people.
-
He understood this when God called him as a son
-
out of Egypt to prophetically, knowing that Jesus also would
-
seek a refuge in Egypt, and that his father Joseph
-
would carry him there. And we know that Joseph came
-
out of Egypt bring him Jesus with him. Moses knew
-
that the people of God are to live separated from
-
this spirit of this world, earn to God. One of
-
the main messages of spiritual leaders of yesteryear today and
-
it will be the same in the future, is that
-
the Christians do not.
-
Believe in missionary dating.
-
The juda Isers did not believe in missionary dating. They
-
did not believe in being unequally yoked together.
-
They did not feel like unbelievers and believers.
-
Should be yoked together in holy matrimony. They felt like
-
one would be pulling one way and another would be
-
pulling in another direction.
-
Firm Moses told them, you.
-
Need to remove all of the Canaan natza from the
-
Primised land. He knew there would be false prophets who
-
would come in an attempt to mislead the Israelites as
-
Paul did in the New Testament. Moses did to the
-
congregation as Paul did to the New Testament.
-
Church, and they warned.
-
Their people about people coming in and corrupting the congregation.
-
You see, truly, Pastor Moses and Pastor Paul had her
-
congregations besting interest in mind. What pastor is there amongst
-
the Christians today that would not have the lay people,
-
the parishioners and best interest in mine. I'll tell you
-
there's plenty of them that their BLD leaders allowing people
-
to follow them badly or watching her and okay, while
-
witnessing her people fall aimlessly into the ditch. Now you see,
-
this man, Moses was one that spoke directly to the Levites,
-
and he spoke directly to them concerning her consecration.
-
Better aughtan you The one group he spoke.
-
Concerning her ceremonial offering to another. He said, you're a leebie,
-
and because you're a Leebyte, whether.
-
Your own duty or off duty.
-
This is how it's gonna always be to one group.
-
He said.
-
You can invest in some tribal property, you can even
-
lease it and rent it, but you are obligated to
-
live here where the lee Bytes live, and you are
-
obligated to leave of the provisions of the other eleven
-
tribes of Israel. You see immediately, we see that God
-
is requiring that the loving tribes support the other trunk tribe.
-
And I don't know why so many people today have
-
a problem, just like some here did. We're bringing for
-
the bust to the House of God. Why do so
-
many people have a problem. We're doing what God said. Do.
-
I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled
-
do your part so God can do his. Heymen, it's
-
been a little while since I preached, and I could
-
tell it's been a little while since some of you
-
prayed because of the way the atmosphere has been in
-
here tonight.
-
Ever since you start a church.
-
I can tell some of you got down for ten
-
minutes and you put on a show like you were doing.
-
Your part to pray before church.
-
But I didn't just fall off the watermelon her pumpkin
-
truck yesterday. I remember them people of yesteryear who did
-
their part as a prayer warrior. They got to church
-
an hour early, and they prayed passionately, affectionately, and fervidly
-
somewhere in a side room or out there peo from
-
forty five minutes to fifteen minutes praying about the service.
-
You ain't doing your part.
-
You're doing as little as you can to get by.
-
You've heard sister root and who you're about to lose
-
due to age and natural causes. You've heard her say,
-
what happened to that effectual, fervent prayer other righteous people
-
that avail as much? What happened to coming into church
-
and hearing somebody in a prayer room praying? Listen, I'm
-
telling you that right there was my prayer room for
-
about two years. It was not a prop room. There
-
was some props in there. There was some old war
-
out sown books and some old war out costumes from
-
Christmas pageants and plays in there. But before I preach
-
the four people, after driving two hours, I would go
-
in there and I pray, and I'd bring them little
-
howl boys in there and let them sitting there, and
-
it worn't too much longer. Brother Johnny platted coming there
-
and he'd light out to praying. About thirty minutes later,
-
him and I we would walk out about prayer room
-
and we would have church.
-
I want you to know that God built this church
-
on prayer.
-
Hey, I may not be the one in here to
-
today and tonight, I might not be the one here
-
Wednesday Sunday Sunday night praying, but by now her ough
-
to be somebody that said, could we turn that fellowship
-
Paul into a men's prayer meeting before a church? Could
-
we really get in there and pray and really hunger
-
her search for God? Can we really pray the church people?
-
Come on.
-
I'm telling you you're doing a small part, but you
-
ain't doing your part. And that's what I want to
-
preach to you here tonight. If you do your part,
-
God would do his with kind of mope, with his
-
destroy all over to our little alder bench and we pray,
-
and then we wonder. I know God's a blessing to
-
beuth the Holiness Church, and I know it seems like
-
this is the wrong church to be preaching this act.
-
I know that people far and white call this a
-
revible church. I know that people drive fifteen hours to
-
be prayed over. I know that God has performed miracles
-
upon miracles for people. I know that the Holy Ghost
-
has fallen in a mighty way, and we've seen twelve
-
to thirteen receive the Holy Ghost and be called to preach,
-
and seeing them set forth and powerful Holy Ghost of
-
knowing and ministries. But there's also been some new people
-
come to town. There's been some new people. Let's move here,
-
and we cannot forget how we got to where we're
-
at unless we mix and mingle and forget how we
-
got where we're at.
-
I want you to know it, and I want to
-
remind you of how we got where we're at.
-
It got to the place where we had to have
-
a move of God, and nobody looked to somebody else
-
to do their part. Everybody was interested in doing their part.
-
And if you're not careful, you'll let new people come in.
-
I'm talking about the ice blocks that come in to
-
get warmed up by your fire. But if you're not
-
careful with an m and emptyology, with the mixing and
-
the mingler. You will learn those ways and over Tiber
-
the Churchill will become complacent, the Churchill will become stalea,
-
the Churchill will become sturture.
-
Oh that's what's wrong with some of their churches. You
-
all left. You told me it was not a move
-
of God there. The power of God was not there.
-
Well, the people had been doing their part. There's no
-
doubt the power of God would have been there. He's
-
not a respector of persons. Moses warned them. He said,
-
false teachers, false prophets. There's gonna be contamination. There's gonna
-
be some mix in England. And at the same time,
-
by the way, I've been talking to the Lord and
-
Jesus Christ with sigh, is gonna come at the wall,
-
Brother Nathaniel. Just seems to me that Pastor Moses just
-
has all other gifts of the spirit that were available
-
at that time, and he's just pointing everything and anything
-
out to everybody, letting them know what God is thinking
-
about all of the situations. What a pastor Moses was, heymen,
-
now concerning the leavit. So Moses had to look as
-
his tribe was singled out and separated for service to
-
the Lord. Can I tell you that you are supposed
-
to be the priest of your house, sir, that you
-
are supposed to lead by example. Your wife might be
-
a priest us, that she might have some prophecy gifts
-
in her life. That you are to be the priest
-
and the spiritual head of that household, and you are
-
to lead by example. I'm telling you it would be
-
better if some of us would lose that dopey dwper
-
walker and quit trying to stretch her to the altar
-
as though was somebody, and that we would really the
-
real purpose in mind, that we would get somewhere and
-
a prayer.
-
Cause and hunk her down.
-
And do our part, that we might get our part,
-
and do our part, that others might get their part,
-
take our place, ain't care our position.
-
And pray. I'm telling you, God real help us. So if.
-
Christians today are all supposed to be priest, Jesus Christ
-
being the great high priest, Brother rode gap, I don't
-
understand what's going on. Reading Malachi chapter number two, verses
-
number four three seven, and you shall know.
-
That I have sent this commandment unto you, that my
-
covenant might be with Levi said, the Lord of Hosts,
-
My covenant was with him of life and peace, and
-
I gave them to him.
-
For the fear.
-
Wherewith he feared me and was afraid before my name.
-
The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity
-
was not found in his lips. He walked with me
-
in peace and equity, and did turn many from iniquity.
-
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should
-
seek the law in his mouth, for he is the
-
messenger of the Lord of Hosts.
-
Amen.
-
God speaking of Malachi the prophet Malicha the prophet, and saying,
-
I've called Levi to speak on my behalf. The Bible said,
-
if any man speak, let him speak has the oracles
-
of God. That is a spirit filled man, that is
-
a holy ghost field person. That is somebody that's prayed
-
things through in the prayer closet until they know that.
-
It doesn't matter if we feel evil surrounding us. It
-
doesn't matter if we feel evil from every angle on
-
every hand. It doesn't matter if a black cloud is
-
hovering over us as an individual, or our church family,
-
or our natural family. It doesn't matter because we know
-
that when the enemy comes in like a flood. If
-
we've done our part, if we've had our prayer life,
-
if we pray things through, then the spirit of the Lord,
-
we'll raise up a standard against it. And historically that
-
has been what has happened at the Bethel hole in
-
this church. He will deliver us if we he will
-
heal our lands, if we humble ourself and pray. That's
-
what the Lord told every country that would hear his
-
prophet's preacher.
-
He spoke to them prophets these words.
-
If my people which are called by my name, meaning
-
separated unto the name of Jesus, separated unto a Judaism
-
or a Christian lifestyle, separated people. If my people which
-
are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray,
-
but it doesn't stop there, and turn from their wicked ways,
-
then will I hear from heaven, and then will I
-
heal her lands. I tell you can pray right here
-
for five or ten minutes, or pray alone these walls
-
for five to fifteen minutes.
-
All you want to.
-
But if you ain't got it in your heart to
-
turn from wickedness, if you can't throw your plans out
-
and come on and take God's plans. If you can't
-
do it God's way, then it's gonna be the highway
-
for you. I'm telling you, it's gotta be more than
-
a roe. It's gotta be more than a predictability. It's
-
gotta be more. There's some child forecaster. What time you're
-
gonna get to church?
-
Hey, come on now.
-
I remember when we first started coming here, her brother
-
for whatever reason, was running late and.
-
We couldn't get in there. I just stand out there
-
and pount them.
-
I didn't stand out there and gossip and telling everybody
-
I can't pray. I didn't look for an opportunity to
-
talk her. I go around the back of nel, on
-
top of the septic tanker and prayer and say, God,
-
I don't know what's home, Papa plot upper and I
-
steal her. Gotta talk to you and best off. I'm
-
telling you God has always done his part of because
-
we have done our part. But to the new people,
-
it's time you do your part. I won't say to
-
anybody that's been here lesson see seven years, it's time
-
you do your part. There's been adequate time by now
-
for you to realize. Oh as the Levites did, I
-
have to offer a sacrifice. And so wait a minute,
-
what is it I'm supposed to bring. I'm supposed to
-
bring the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks, not
-
one cheek and the mall or the stomach.
-
Are you all with me? Right here? Right now? There
-
is no denying the fact that back in this time period, when.
-
The child of God brought a sacrificial offering to the Lord,
-
that a very small part of it belonged to the
-
ministers of the priest on duty, and there were some
-
others that were off duty. But it says here and
-
the shoulder, the cheek, and the stomach were brought, and
-
they were given to the minister. They must have been
-
a very important reason, brother, just saying for God to
-
give them such a requirement as this, bring this specific portion.
-
Don't bring the backstrap try and impress me. Don't bring
-
the rough ROAs to try and impress my children. Now,
-
don't try to do it different.
-
Now what God said do.
-
If we're gonna have a revival, it's gonna take up
-
the same recipe for the same morded remedy. Pray, humble yourself,
-
Oh come and stop the charades and give what.
-
God has for you. Do your part. Stop the charades.
-
There was an important reason for a while they had
-
to bring the shoulder, the two cheeks, and the stomach.
-
There must have been a very important reason, brother Nathaniel.
-
The specific portion we know in the levitical priesthood and
-
the ceremonial sacrifice, and in those laws, Brother Natania, we
-
find types or shadows of Jesus Christ, who is our
-
great high priest. And there's no doubt when we find
-
all these types and all these shadows that there was
-
a reason why they had to bring the shoulders, the
-
two cheeks, and the stomach.
-
Do you see this?
-
Are you getting to do? You bring him his portion
-
when you come here. We're supposed to bring everything. We're
-
supposed to print present under him our bodies a living sacrifice,
-
knowing we might be judged for the presentation and the
-
appearance of the sacrifice.
-
Hey, which is our reasonable service?
-
We know that God's gonna say expected, God ain't gonna say,
-
look at you, thank you for what you've done. It
-
is your reasonable service that you come into the church
-
and you lift up What's something?
-
He asked for it? He asked for a shoulder, He
-
asked for two cheeks, and he asked for the stomach.
-
But I know for the New Testament Church and any
-
other believer, he's always asked them for holy hands. He's
-
asked them to clap them holy hands. He's ask them
-
to reach out to him with those holy hands. He's
-
asked them to lift up the vice like a trumpet.
-
What is it about you? What are you holding back?
-
What are you keeping back from God? What is that
-
you're not yielding? What is it? Oh? I feel the preacher?
-
What is it? Do we come inside this sanctuary with
-
thanksgiving on her hearts and the prude of praise upon
-
her lips. When he said, enter my gates with thanksgiving,
-
enter my courts with praise, be thankful unto me, and
-
bless my name. The summons put it this way, enter
-
his gates with thanksgiving, and his lords were praise, be.
-
Thankful unto him, and bless his name, for the Lord
-
is good.
-
But you know what we do?
-
We come in just waiting to take ten minutes to
-
give a prayer request that would it took ten seconds?
-
And then we don't do our part and pray about it.
-
But God didn't tell you to come in here, down
-
and out, ben the Marlygram's complaining about your employer coming
-
in here with a petition.
-
Every sneaking week.
-
So God said, every time you're come in to my prasence,
-
you come here with thanksgiving.
-
You be thankful.
-
Hey, come on, coach you as a child of God,
-
you as a separator child of God.
-
This God has been a best for this God has blessing.
-
No matter what you're going through, no matter what you're
-
up against, no matter what.
-
Your faith said, You're blest. You're blest coming in lame, hey,
-
leap to the best of your ability.
-
Did we go throughout the day today presenting our bodies
-
as living sacrificial offerings? Did we keep something back from
-
the Lord? Did the spirit of God tell us to pray?
-
Did we keep that back from him? Do you remember
-
when the spirit of God was allowed to shake you
-
in the middle of the night, and you got up
-
and you walked the floor, and after praising him, you
-
interceded on the behalf of somebody else. Do you remember
-
when he was allowed to speak to you while you
-
were on your job, or while you were pushing a
-
shopping cart. You went a long way around because you
-
had to say a prayer for a grand baby, do
-
you remember when you were allowed to listen to God?
-
Why are you holding back your ears to hear? Why
-
are you holding back your mouth to speak? Lord?
-
What are you holding back? What are you holding back?
-
There's something that's why you haven't went through.
-
Your wife looks at you in the white of the ice,
-
and she kisses you goodbye as you go to work,
-
and she kisses you when you get home, and she
-
knows there's something down in there for why you can't
-
receive the Holy Ghost, and you lash at her. I'm
-
operating as a prophet right now. You lash out at her.
-
You let her know you're just a saved as she is.
-
You let her know you ain't no heathen.
-
You let her know. Come on, now, I know.
-
Them guys that sought the Holy Ghost for twenty something
-
years and finally got down to business, and they admitted
-
to us they weren't doing their part.
-
Huh. I feel the Holy Ghost sit in this place
-
here tonight, Bethel. This is the church.
-
It is because the people doing their part. When there
-
was less than eight people in this church, people doing
-
their part?
-
Are y'all with me?
-
When there was thirty people that belong to this church,
-
there were people doing their part. And now I want
-
to talk to the Howell family. I want to talk
-
to them sons that I pray for, probably easily thirty
-
times a day, and that daughter that I pray for
-
when I pray for them sons, And I want to
-
talk to them in laws that I probably pray for
-
equally as much as I do my family, at least
-
probably it's just the hell right, thirty times a day
-
audibly correct? Would you say thirty times a day at
-
least if not more? I say, God, would you touch Jeremiah, Jesse, Nathaniel, Hannah, Samuel, Phillip, God,
-
would you touch Jeremiah, Leah, Elena and Isra. God would
-
you touch Jesse? Would you touch Hannah, Michah, Melachi, Oh,
-
come on, Maxon, Martin and Melody? God? Would you touch
-
Nathaniel and Rachel and Rebecca, Renee and Ruth and Nathan?
-
And would you keep Jeptera And tell him? I said, hello, God,
-
would you touch Hannah? Would you touch Jonathan and Judah?
-
God? Would you touch uIP, Samuel?
-
Would you touch Meghan which it touched Natalie, Mariah and
-
Simon and Madison? God? Would you touch Philip had Elizabeth
-
and Ada, and if you'll give us another rose, we
-
will definitely rejoice something in the fragrance of such a rose.
-
And then I pray for the meth of holiness Church family.
-
I begin with a road Camp family. I'm going down
-
to the Wood family there, right on down to the
-
Edwards family, right on down to the Shepherds family, right
-
on over to the Wallace family.
-
I taught her better m Taylor Road. Then I work
-
up that God help.
-
Sister Vicky Smith. God help sister Janet who's working late tonight.
-
God help by the Gabel. God help sister Gail. God
-
help of the gab Us family. God half sister with
-
God help sister, God of Sister Simmons. God have brother
-
Caleb broke Kamppa. God give him a jewel, for he
-
truly deserves a pearl of great price. And then I
-
pray for the Christian with family. And just go right
-
hold and write Old Sister Hall will say at least
-
thirty times a day because I know.
-
I know I am a pastor. I know God gave
-
you to me. I know I'm a papa. I know
-
God gave you to me. I know I'm a daddy.
-
God gave you to me. I know I'm a father
-
in law. God gave you to me.
-
I've got to do my part. Nobody else can do
-
what I've called to do. And nobody Christ, whether or
-
not Moses, what's doing his part. It ain't gonatin you.
-
He isn't doing his part. Instead, I'm preaching to you tonight,
-
when will you do your part so God can do his?
-
As God grows our church. If we're not careful, that
-
has not happened. I'm just trying to preach prophetically and
-
warn you and tell you the mixing and the Mengland
-
will distract you. The mixing in them England will distract you.
-
We're supposed to be believing that miracles can happen, that
-
God can turn goats in the sheep, and God can
-
turn tears into wheat. Heymen, Holy sweet Jesus, I don't
-
feel like turning this into iceberg Holiness Church. I want
-
just to remain the birthel Holness Church, the Revival church
-
where the fire hallways burns now. Sister how just boldly
-
and without one ounce of hesitation, said, there's no doubt
-
your pastor does his part and prays for each of
-
you by name. Thirty times a day, Ethan, you have
-
worked with me, and you have witnessed me take that
-
hat off, probably in an eight hour shift sixty seventy times,
-
I mean, and more than that. Probably Hey, Hey, God,
-
Me and Ethan's over here in brother Philip's yard cutting
-
down some trees and removing to breathe. But I just
-
want you to know Lord, as a salute to you,
-
most time you remember a little old grasshopper right here,
-
and you have mercy on us as we're working. And
-
sometimes it's just a two sentence prayer. Sometimes it's a
-
five sentence prayer. But I always say God keep us,
-
God keep us, Lord Keep us. And sometimes it's just God,
-
I thank you for this day. I thank you God
-
for what you made. I thank you for my friend
-
over here. I thank you for the friendship. I thank
-
you for the family. What in the world what you
-
dragging too this church? For that you literally left abitating
-
to a tend and coming here tonight, like God ain't
-
been good to you, inact.
-
Like we've changed. I want you to know we have
-
at change.
-
Your problem is you have not yet God in the
-
compliance with what God wants you to do. Should I
-
keep preaching or shall we go to the chicken house?
-
It says here the shoulder, the cheeks, and the stomach.
-
Brother Jesse, Brother LaRue, tell you that manudo is good. Hey,
-
bring that to the preacher. Did we go throughout today
-
today resenting our life, resenting what God has done for us?
-
Or did we go through today presenting our bodies as
-
a living sacrifice? Did you go resenting everything God's been
-
trying to tell you to do? Or have you been
-
presenting that this is the way we do it? It's
-
a wholly unacceptable manner and fashion. Come on, now, have
-
we held back part of the sacrifice? You can bring
-
the cheeks and the stomach and hide that shoulder if
-
you want to. But you better bring it. I said,
-
you better bring it. Let me ask someone an important question.
-
Have you given him everything, even that smallest part? Are
-
you holding something back?
-
I mean?
-
Always asking you to do is be a responsible adult.
-
Always asking you to do is have a perfect work ethic.
-
Always asking you to do is to represent him as
-
an ambassador. Hey, be blame less not to bring a
-
reproach upon him? Are your church family? Luke the beloved
-
position abandoned his family medical practice? Did he not because
-
he wanted to do his part, and I'm glad he did.
-
I'm glad he found his part, his companion to Paul,
-
I'm glad he found his place and did his part
-
to put pen in the parchment, give us the Gospel
-
of Luke and the Book of Acts, aren't you glad?
-
He left a doctor position to be a recorder of
-
New Testament events. And one of them New Testament events
-
he recorded was in chapter number five of the Book
-
of Acts, Verses number one and two.
-
But a certain man named Anna Nice with.
-
Sapphire his wife, sold a possession and kept back part
-
of the price. His wife also being privy to what
-
was going on, and they brought in a certain part
-
and laid it at the apostle's feet.
-
Notice he brought in a certain part.
-
The Holy ghost stood back, Sister Wooten, Peter's standing there,
-
Jeremy house standing here right now.
-
Well, it's just Jeremy. How that's okay, I get it,
-
I get it. It's Peter. That's right.
-
You go ahead and try to pull the wool over
-
that apostle's eyes if you want to.
-
That's right. It's only Peter.
-
But the problem is who's living inside of Peter, he
-
knows it's only a part.
-
Well.
-
I am seeking the Holy Ghost, I am working hard,
-
I am holding down a job, I am growing in Grayson,
-
and knowledge of the Lord Save Jesus Christ.
-
Praying. I am praying.
-
Didn't have the preacher and the pastor for lunch talking
-
to you wife or your husband.
-
I am seeking God. Hey, you know what they saw.
-
They saw good man like Barnabas, who was full of
-
faith and full of the Holy gold, sell all of
-
his possessions and bring the proceeds of those selves and
-
lay them at the apostles feet.
-
They must have been in that service.
-
So they hurt everybody privately praising Barnabas for his notable actions.
-
And so they decided they wanted pre eminence, they wanted praise.
-
They want to prestige, they wanted positions. They sold a
-
piece of property in order to bring an offer, and
-
it seemed like it was just well presented. It just
-
seemed like it was a real, true blue, pure vanilla grated, genuine,
-
authentic sacrifice. And Peter, no doubt when they came in
-
saw that purse of money and thought, wow, that's a
-
great gift. That's a great gift. But the Holy Ghost
-
of saying, Peter, it's only this certain part. Hey, it's
-
on this certain part. That's what I've heard. I guess
-
that's why I'm preaching along these lines here tonight. They
-
looked a part, but they're only a certain part of
-
the part. They're not the whole part. They're not the
-
complete part. It's a certain part. And Peter tries to
-
get them an opportunity to worm out of it, and
-
they just push on through. Oh, it's my best, it's
-
the best. And Peter said, why would you lie to
-
the holy ghost here? That you lie to the holy ghost?
-
These men standing nearby will drag you out and they
-
will bury you.
-
Oh, come on.
-
Then comes Somepphire walks in there, and she does the
-
same exact.
-
She wanted to play her part. She didn't want to
-
mess up her part. She wanted to do it just
-
exactly like her husband did it.
-
Do you know when you listen to your husband more
-
than you listen to God, it could be a set up.
-
I said, that could be a setup. Die with your husband,
-
to the hell with your husband, O God, to heaven
-
with Jesus. The choice it is.
-
All that Sapphire would have said, that mauld of dirt
-
back there is that line connib and cheating, scheming, and
-
a nice under that mound of dirt, and them deacons
-
and them grave diggers would have said, yep, that's him.
-
Wouldn't have been great at She'd have fallen down and said,
-
hold on, Peter, let me go to the house and
-
get the rest. But she wanted to stick with her story. Listen,
-
you better stop sticking with your story and sticking with
-
your plan and stop doing what you want to do.
-
You better start doing what God told you to do.
-
Come on now, hey, stop writing your own Bible, stop
-
with your private interpretations, stop with your dedicated demonstrations, and
-
really get down to the nitty gritty where you're at
-
with God. Say God, we started it like this. We
-
need to finish, completed, We need to finish. We need
-
to finish. God satisfied?
-
Have we done it all?
-
Brother Jesse? It was a clown show. He and she
-
held back part of the price. That little missing portion
-
mattered to God. Sister Wooton. They wonder how could God
-
bless Sister Wooton a way? Has I watch as she
-
was in doctor Ashley's office today for the first time,
-
Brother Tyler had me on the live feed watching and
-
I realized real quick Ashley loves Sister Wooton. I could
-
just hear it in her voice. She loves Sister Wooton.
-
And I told sister how as I watch, I said,
-
she's hooked already. She spent twenty minutes with her, just
-
loved her. I said, why wouldn't she love her? I
-
could tell Sister Wooton loved her, and I can tell you.
-
I could tell doctor Ashley was doing her part. And
-
then I heard brother Tyler stepped do his part. He
-
wanted to make sure nothing got overlooked concerning his grandma.
-
He wasn't about to let sus the woop go out
-
that office without discussing that nee, without discussing that need.
-
It's locked up on her now, keeping her from Tyler
-
stepped up and done his part. Come on, Dad, I
-
mean going to work every day, that's your part. You
-
don't seem to struggle with that at all. I don't
-
since one one bit of struggle with Brother Samuel bringing
-
his part and laying it down on the table and
-
Sam Megan, here it is, and Brother Samuel, hey, come on,
-
you feel good about doing your part from what I
-
can see, Brother Samuel, Sister Megan's definitely doing her part. Man,
-
you have definitely prospered since you moved out of my house.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
And Brother Sama does a great job as a son
-
of doing his part. So does Brother Nathaniel, so does
-
the others they show up in my house, Sister Wood
-
and you talked about some, hey, that don't do their part.
-
You talked about some that don't. But then you got
-
Crystal who needs to move in there, probably as soon
-
as she can to help you out. Hey, you're gonna
-
you're gonna get slower and slower. That's what actually told
-
you today. Some of this stuff just comes with age.
-
Some of this stuff just comes with age. Are are
-
y'all with pastor? But Brother Nathaniel Sunday night, after that
-
wonderful service, come over to my house. He was about
-
eight and a half feet in near working on something
-
for me not to be disclosed.
-
He's about eight and.
-
A half feet in near, just standing there working right
-
next to a yellow jacket nest, and then right next
-
to some red wasped nests, right next to some horns.
-
I said, man, everything that could sap pims right there,
-
ready to strike and I said, holy ghost, under my breath,
-
I said, keep them back, keep them back.
-
My my air force is ready to strike. Came in.
-
Pastor's air force is ready to strike. And they didn't
-
mess with him brother before, which is very surprising that
-
they didn't pop him. But I was a praying, you know, God,
-
keep my boy, Keep my boy. He's trying to do
-
his part. He's trying to keep me from standing up
-
nine ten feet in there. He knows I'm wore out
-
after two long services. He knows only had three and
-
a half hours sleep. He didn't want to even think
-
about me being up here on that ladder. Are y'all
-
with brother Jeremiah, You do your part on a daily basis.
-
I say, what a blessing you are to me on
-
a daily basis.
-
Are y'all? Are y'all listening to me right here?
-
I got no problem doing my part, Brother jes saying,
-
when I drive by your yard.
-
I told you, Mama the other day.
-
I said, man, there is no doubt this guy has
-
no problem doing his part of keeping his yard clean,
-
his flower beds, manicured, his house painted good pressure. Why,
-
I said, that is somebody that is not at all Hey,
-
come on regretting getting married. He's not at all regretting
-
moving out of daddy's house. He's not at all regretting
-
assuming responsibility. He's not at all against his role or
-
his part in that family.
-
U'nit.
-
The pressure for a move of God is not to
-
be on the preacher in the pulpit. It's to be
-
a laymen and the lay women in the pews. That's
-
where the prayer should be coming forth. The pastor spends
-
countless hours in prayer before he preaches a message. If
-
there's a misfire somewhere, I guarantee you you better check
-
the spark out there.
-
Because plug number one's firing.
-
Amen, And we got about seventy five to eighty spark
-
plugs out there. Are you sparking? I ain't talking about
-
the silly delivery. I know you got to do that,
-
sister road Cap, but I'm asking, are you sparking? Come here? Yeah,
-
he's sparking. Amen.
-
Are you on fire?
-
You know you walking them doors like Sister Rooting does
-
on past speaking in dogs.
-
Amen. You can do it with no kids, or you
-
can do it with a house full of kids.
-
If you got a house full of kids, you could
-
come in sparking by simply saying, God, I've got ten
-
reasons for sparking right now.
-
I got ten reasons for being on fire. I got
-
ten reasons.
-
Right now for God, find your name and coming in
-
here with thanksgive and study noses or not.
-
I just want to ask you, with love, are you
-
really doing your part? I want to ask you, when love,
-
are you really doing your part?
-
I have no doubt to Sister Hammon sitting down there
-
by the river about every night or evening, most evenings
-
out there praying number one for spark plug number one.
-
You see what I'm saying. This church has grown now.
-
We never worried about misfire. With seven, eight, nine, ten, twenty, thirty,
-
forty fifty brother Rope Camp, we never slowed down. But
-
now seventy we talked about by the end of the
-
year eighty five is what I'm hearing. Hey, we can't
-
let it be a comment tame where we just come
-
dragging in here at seven twenty eight on Wednesday night. Hey,
-
it aint all of us ain't driving an hour to
-
get here. If you drove an hour, I'd understand you
-
coming in here at seven twenty or seven twenty five Amen.
-
You know what, I get here an hour early because
-
I've got to preach. It ain't that I'm not prepared.
-
Your mama watches me play with sermon ideas all week long.
-
Oh God, what do I preach?
-
Amen? I'm ready to preach right now. Something else. If
-
you don't want to stay with me another two hours, Amen,
-
I got no problem doing my part.
-
But what his heartbreaking is sometimes very concerning to me
-
is whenever I hear at seven seventeen, it sounds like
-
a circus in here.
-
Amen.
-
One brother messaged me, he asked me to preach his
-
meeting of coming up. And this was this week, and
-
he messaged me and he said, Brother Jeremy, he said,
-
the devil's a fighting I said, well, join the club.
-
I said, I think my most often used statement of
-
this year is it's just the devil.
-
He said, you got that right, Brother Jeremy. He said.
-
If we've ever fought, we fought this year.
-
He said, it's just one thing right after another, everything
-
falling through. I thought, yeah, that's about right. That's the
-
devil doing his part. That's the devil not hesitating to
-
fulfill his role. That's the devil saying, you know, what.
-
I don't need a pointy tail or, a horn or
-
two horns. I'm gonna do my part. Where you been, Lucifer, Well,
-
I've been walking to and fro throughout the earth. I've
-
been busy. There's one thing you don't allow, this sowtfulness.
-
You don't allow demons to be slowful. They'll go to
-
pigs if they have to. Are y'all with me right now?
-
I'm not trying to slow down. I'm trying to ask
-
you what is the problem with do in your part?
-
These levites?
-
Watch people come in and just give them that part
-
that they were commanded. How many did they need? How
-
many cheeks? How many shoulders? How many stomachs?
-
The mall? How many mall maladies? How many malls? M
-
a w How many malls do you need?
-
You know what an naisis of fire did what sums
-
being tempted to do right now? They lied to the
-
Holy ghost, that certain part, that small part. They left
-
it at the house. The Israelites were to bring the
-
shoulder to the priests. And the shoulder represents weights, cares
-
and burdens. And couple of weeks ago, I said, let
-
us lay aside every weight and the sin that does
-
so easily beset us.
-
Why can't you lay hold of that down on the altar?
-
It's keeping you from offering a clean, holy sacrifice. Why
-
do you choose to carry it back with you when
-
you walk away from the altar after a time of prayer?
-
Why do you put it back on your shoulder? Why
-
do you shoulder when he says, cast all your care
-
upon me, for.
-
I care for you.
-
Why do you walk away with a sad face? Why
-
do you walk away with complaints? Why do you walk
-
away we regrets? Why why do you depart sadly?
-
Sadly?
-
They were to leave the cheeks at the altar? Has
-
anyone been smitting on the cheek today? Well, if you
-
were smitting on the cheek, he told you to turn
-
the other one to them. I feel like preaching for
-
a little while. It's been a little while since I've
-
been able to.
-
Preach to you.
-
Did you turn the other cheek or did you swing
-
that fist? Did you turn the other cheek or did
-
you swing that tongue around? Are you human right now
-
because somebody spoke ill of you? Or are you like
-
a coke bottle all shook up? Be cause somebody made
-
you mad. Isaiah chapter number fifteen, Verse number six condemns you,
-
speaking of our Lord said, I gave my back to
-
the Smiters and my cheeks to them that plucked off
-
the hair. I hid up my face from shame and spitting.
-
Have you suffered for the cause of Christ? Are you
-
ashamed to do your part? Have to look like a Christian?
-
Are you shame of righteous and holy attire? Are you
-
shame of that long hair? Are you a shame?
-
Come off? I'm asking you? Are you ashamed of be
-
a Christian? Have you suffered? Have you suffered for the
-
God I supp's sake? Have you been lying on?
-
Have you been talked about? Have you been mistreated? Jesus
-
gave his back to the Smiters basically the way I
-
interpret that, that's my own interpretation. Since he turned the cheek,
-
I almost feel like, because he was an all knowing God,
-
he knew the parts of his back that had not
-
yet been struck.
-
He just how about right there, mister, right there, go
-
ahead and rip that up too. Huh?
-
You want to smite this cheek? How about get this
-
one right here too? You want to pull this part
-
of my beard out?
-
Hey?
-
Might as well make it match not mocky, might as well.
-
If you're gonna torment me, you might as well do
-
a good job of it. If I won't suffer, I
-
might as well suffer food.
-
Mhm.
-
If I'm gonna suffer for Phillip's cancer battle, how might
-
as well suffer completely? If I won't suffer for Aaron
-
Wood's struggle for his son Dylan's life spiritually, how might
-
as well suffer?
-
Foody?
-
If I'm gonna suffer and carry Nathaniel's burdens of losing jeps,
-
how might as well hang my head? When my father
-
turns his back on me, and I asked the question why, why.
-
Forsaken me?
-
He did his part. He despised a shame for the
-
joy set before him. He endured the cross despies of shame.
-
I feel the Holy ghost in this place, sister. How
-
when Heaven asked him to do his part, the son
-
stepped out of the throne with his father and said,
-
I will go. I feel like saying it again. I
-
hidden up my face from shame and spitting. I gave
-
my back to the smiters. And according to Luke, the
-
doctor at the interview and eye witnesses sister whooting, they said.
-
Somebody told the doctor said, there was the prettiest voice though,
-
in the midst of all that hate, there was somebody praying,
-
and it was Jesus as he hung And the words
-
the man kept saying was Father forgives them, for they
-
know not what they do. And you come to church
-
full of bitterness, anger, hatred. I'm gonna tell y'all something.
-
A miracle happened yesterday.
-
I won't give a name.
-
You will be touched greatly at this report. We give
-
God all glory. Sister how And I was in a
-
place of business. While we were in a place of business,
-
an individual who's literally seemingly out of their mind come in.
-
Out of their mind came in. After while standing at
-
the door, they went out. The Holy Girl spoke to
-
me and said, after all this time, you will speak
-
to her this day. I didn't go chase her out.
-
I didn't text anybody pray for me. I didn't want
-
nobody to know anything. We walked out, Sister Hall doing
-
her things she always does, put her arm around my
-
arm and walked out.
-
There she is. I walked right by her. I turned
-
I stared at her.
-
Probably the only other woman I've looked at in eyes
-
besides your mama, you know, I said, ma'am, I said,
-
do you love Jesus and brother Jesse? She real angrily went,
-
I said you don't love my Jesus. I said you
-
sure about that, mama? Hold they'd not, trying to interrupt me,
-
real softly, she said, why not? That woman hit the ground.
-
I looked down there and I said, ma'am, ma'am, my
-
Jesus loves you though, just that calm, I said, ma'am, ma'am,
-
ma'am right here, look at me.
-
My Jesus loves you though. Son. The Holy Fiery God
-
started burning in her. She cried.
-
More severely and greatly than I've ever seen anybody in
-
the House of God cry. And she started staring off
-
like that to the side, and I said, he loves you.
-
And she looked back at me and start to shake
-
her head, and she turned a stare, and the Holy
-
Good spoke to me and said, she's bitter. She's blamed
-
Jesus for something. And I looked at Miranda, and she
-
looked at me, and she stared the fire God burning,
-
and her soul and her lips a quivering.
-
And she stared.
-
She looked at me in her eyes just as red
-
tears flowing down her face like Mary Magdalen's. I said, Miranda,
-
you know he loes and she's just equivering by this time,
-
and she's shaking. So I'm telling you, all she had
-
to do was say Jesus, and she had got saved, sanctified,
-
Holy ghost filled Iris Wooding. If I've ever felt the
-
power of God, I felt it when I went to
-
get out of that vehicle. I told Sister how I said,
-
they say miracles don't happen nowadays. I said, but we
-
have what the apostles had, Sister VICKI, I said, we
-
have it. I said, it's unbelief. Lay aside every weight
-
in the sin unbelief. Hebrews chapter number twelve he Brings
-
Chapter number eleven is about faith. Hebrews Chapter number ten
-
is about going to the House of God forsaken, not
-
disembling of yourself as the manner of some is, building
-
up your most holy faith right, praying in the Holy Ghost, reading,
-
hearing the word of God preached. Hebrews chapter number eleven.
-
A lot of people received great mighty miracles because of
-
their faith. He Brings chapter number twelve, Lay aside every
-
weight and the sin, Sister Crystal, Sister Leah. She was
-
that close to screaming out Jesus the Sonnay David saved me.
-
She was that close to her mind returning to her.
-
She was that close.
-
I don't know why I felt like going in that day.
-
I don't go into them stories. I walked in there
-
and just patiently waited. But I told you, Mama said,
-
he's still a miracle worker. He's still performing miracles, and
-
he'll save those that just seemed like they can't be saved.
-
It was less than ten minutes later, Son, right there by,
-
Save a lot, in between Save a lot and dollar tree.
-
We're right there in the power of God is falling
-
on Miranda in a greater measure than some of you
-
who don't want to get serious with Jesus about And
-
I watched as God showed me Miranda's heart. And may
-
God smite you dead if you go and meddle with Miranda,
-
because she ain't.
-
Gonna feel the same thing. But I want you to
-
know my spirit.
-
Opened up to the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Ghost
-
reached forth a hand alife to Miranda. Son, I'm talking
-
about tears pouring out of her eyes, and I'm talking
-
about looking off and her thinking to herself, I gotta
-
let go of this bitterness, and then look at me.
-
The most desperate plea you've ever seen in your life.
-
I watched her four or five times. The Holy Ghost said,
-
just come back another day. I can help her. God
-
told us preachers to take it out there. All we
-
got to do is do our part. Do our part,
-
reach the least, the lost, and the lonely. How many
-
are willing to do their part anymore? How many are
-
willing to go out to the highways and the hedges,
-
how many are willing to go to the nursing home.
-
Just do your part, he'll do his, Brother Jesse, Brother Nathan,
-
you'll just do your part.
-
He'll do his. Why don't feel like anything's happening to me?
-
Do your part, he'll do his.
-
And I want to talk to you about unforgiveness. Joseph
-
was in captivity, if I remember correctly, for thirteen years.
-
Joseph was in captivity nine to ten years of that
-
he was in Potiphar's house thirteen years. Brother Nathaniel Moore,
-
and there was probably some periods of time when he
-
had hostility and revenge in his heart, and until he
-
prayed that through God would not bring him out of
-
prison and put him into palace. I'm convinced that it
-
took thirteen years to get revenge and hostility out of
-
his heart. And when those brothers came to him, brother
-
robecap because the father Jacob had sent them to him.
-
The Bible said, when he saw those brothers standing in
-
their sister woot and his heart was greatly moved and
-
greatly stirred, and he had to turn and walk out.
-
He went in there and he cried and said, God,
-
there was a day and hours they had showed up,
-
maybe just six months ago. I that killed every one
-
of them, but I love them. My brothers are home.
-
I'll never go home again. But my brothers who were
-
lost or found, I want you all to know. It
-
wasn't Joseph it was lost. It was his brothers that
-
was lost. He realized, it's my brothers that are lost,
-
and somebody needs to bring them cheeks and that shoulder
-
and that stomach. The Maul to Jesus tonight, before he
-
was elevated to be the Hebrew Pharaoh, he had to
-
be humbled and three or four of the gospel writers
-
wanted to share with readers about a young man that
-
refused to be humbled. They called him a good man,
-
they called him a young man, they called him a
-
kind man, they called him a ruler. They called him
-
just a young promise and superstar. And Jesus asked that
-
young man. He said, keep the commandments. And the young man,
-
as Jesus said, all these things I've kept since I
-
was a young And and then Jesus, you know the narrative,
-
Jesus said, go sell all that you have and follow me,
-
brother Jesse. The young man long story short, hung his
-
head and basically said, I don't want to be perfect.
-
I don't want to be holding God. I want to
-
keep something back. And that's where Jesus said, the love
-
of many, and the love of the rich, and the
-
love of money, how hard it is for the rich
-
man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. And that
-
little young ruler didn't want to give up his positions
-
and didn't want to give up his possessions. He didn't
-
want to give up his positions, he didn't want to
-
give up his possessions. And brother Philip, he walked away
-
and that's how I pray every time before I preach.
-
Let us depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. The
-
Bible said he walked away sorrowfully.
-
He had his part that he kept back.
-
What is your one thing? I hate to say this,
-
but for some it's a silly app For some it's
-
a silly relationship. For some it's just one cheek.
-
Their victory.
-
Is right there, but their unforgiveness, that unforgiven spirit. It
-
has been said before, by holding us Pentecostal people, I
-
will never forgive.
-
I'm glad Jesus didn't say that. What is it? Is
-
it honesty you're holding back?
-
I want to say, as a pastor, there's some things
-
your pastor shouldn't have to figure out, and there's some
-
things your pastors shouldn't have to pray through. You should
-
love your church family enough to tell your church family.
-
If a murderer and he has a murderer, he is
-
a murderer. If he has a record of a murderer,
-
he gets saved and he prays through and gets gloriously transformed,
-
but he shows up, that's one of your relatives.
-
You owe it to me right on day one.
-
To tell me, this man can have an explosive temper
-
and potentially he could murder somebody in this church.
-
You owe it to me.
-
Wouldn't it be a terrible thing for you to expect
-
me to pray it through. Let's just let God do
-
it and me not do my part like so many do.
-
And then one day that person's explosive temper leads them
-
to pull the trigger and they kill somebody in the neighborhood,
-
and the Holiness Church has a bad name henceforth, and
-
it's a reproach on the Holiness people. And it could
-
have been avoided if you'd have just said right up front,
-
this person is a murderer.
-
If somebody has.
-
Abuse you, I don't know exactly where all you came from,
-
but if somebody has abused you, and then thirty years
-
later they decide to come to the Bethelhonness Church and
-
you know it, and you don't say nothing, and then
-
they abuse your grandchild. Whose fault is that, Pastors because
-
he didn't figure it out, Pastors because he he didn't
-
preach against that. Who's sometimes we have to bring him
-
our honesty, our broken spirit, our transparency, our submission to authority.
-
What is that small thing. I'll never ever call him pastor.
-
It'll always be brother Jeremy.
-
I dealt with some like that.
-
They're no longer saved to this day because just something
-
in them wouldn't let them say pastor Moses, that's the
-
spirit of Cora Byron and Dathan and Moses finally wondered,
-
is am I not specially selected and chosen by God
-
to lead this people? So I'm just gonna have to
-
pray and say, let there be a line. I'm gonna
-
say a prayer that I don't want to pray, but
-
apparently there needs to be a distinction, and there needs
-
to be a line clearly drawn into sand. And the
-
Bible said after that the earth opened up and swallowed them,
-
and they went alive down into the pit. Well, he's
-
a man just like me. Brother Johnny Platt used to
-
warn this church as it grew of just not respecting
-
leadership properly. We don't have that problem here. But Brother
-
Jesse knew people are coming in. I don't know where
-
they came from. I don't know if they really have
-
a servant's heart. I don't know if they really know
-
how to subject to authority. Because one of the best
-
ways to see that they're in subjection to authority is
-
whenever you even suggest that they do something, they do it.
-
I'm on something.
-
I'm probably ruining a good evangelistic style message here and
-
turning into a pastoral message. But I could, with the
-
years of experience that I have as a pastor, I
-
could wear this one out till about two o'clock in
-
the morning. Probably that small thing, why don't you bring
-
it to Jesus? Brother Johnny Platt warned this congregation, I said,
-
a little while ago, when it was a small congregation,
-
he'd do his part as an elder.
-
He'd stand up Brother Justin.
-
He'd say, Hey, that young man right there is thirty
-
five years old and I'm seventy five. But that's my pastor.
-
And he said, I'm in subjection to him. And he said,
-
as long as he follows Christ, I'll follow him. And
-
that man on his deathbed he said, I love my pastor.
-
If if you can't right now say I love my pastor,
-
why are you even here?
-
Are y'all with me?
-
I hit a little stump right there. In ten years,
-
I'm not gonna be gone from your life. I don't
-
feel that way. Maybe maybe not. Maybe God'll take Maybe
-
I'll die early. I don't know, but I why won't
-
be out of your life. I'll still be preaching and
-
praying for you, God will. It's still doing my part,
-
still be helping marry your babies to other wonderful, God
-
fearing people, Still be helping you dedicate your babies, standing.
-
Everybody your pastor's side.
-
Still beat a vital, important part, doing my part, hopefully
-
until I die, Brother Jesse, doing my part being a
-
blessing to other preachers in this building, Brother Nathaniel, I
-
don't want to call for an altar. They had no option,
-
did they, Sister. We just said, and this shall be
-
the priest due from the people. Well I don't like that. Priest, Well,
-
guess what. You don't get to offer the rest of
-
your offering either you offer it all according to the
-
planning the will of God, or your offering will be
-
not accepted. Well I don't, I don't, I don't.
-
I don't.
-
I don't feel like there's anybody in here disrespecting me personally.
-
But I will tell you what I feel in my spirit.
-
Unforgiveness is destroying Miranda. I don't know if a grandmother died,
-
She blamed God. I don't know if a child died,
-
I don't know, if a sister died. I don't know,
-
if a mother died.
-
I don't know.
-
If somebody got ran over, some accident happened, and one
-
thing led to another drug abuse, and then she fried
-
her mind. But I'm gonna tell you, buddy, she knows
-
tonight Jesus loves her. And before I left, I said Brenda,
-
Pastor Howell. She said yes, Sir, I said Pastor Howell.
-
She said yes, Sir, sister, wooting her eyes, pouring tears
-
in her lips, just to stammering in her just the
-
weeping when I walked off, Brother Jesse, spirit of God
-
all over. That unforgiveness and that bitterness is eating her life.
-
That's why she's chose not to love Jesus. And if you,
-
without the Spirit of God go to try to teach
-
her and school her on forgiveness and bad thing without
-
the Holy Ghost, you'll only you. She'll probably knock you out.
-
That's what she's She's known for not backing down, Brother Nathaniel.
-
It's not that betha Waitinet doing our part. It's not
-
that the ministry team's not doing the part. It's not
-
that the Holy Ghost isn't doing his part. There's summon
-
this building that have decided not to do their part,
-
Brother Jesse, Until they do their part, He's not gonna
-
do his.
-
What is it?
-
As we stand? What is it? What is it?
-
Do you realize I was recently in a service with
-
about seventy seven people in attendance. Somebody literally let me
-
know by not doing what I said, the Holy Ghost
-
showed me there to do. Do you know somebody in
-
this building had the nerve to basically let us know,
-
I'm not gonna do my part. That's the same thing
-
them suckers said when bo As, I'm not gonna do
-
my part as a near kinsman.
-
That's exactly what he said.
-
Bo As said, well, good, the blessing of be mine,
-
And I said three weeks ago. God will raise up
-
a drunkard off the streets. He's already dealing with Miranda,
-
He's already dealing with some hispanics who are evangelizing. He'll
-
raise up a drunkard, save his soul, sanctify him, fill
-
him with a hole and ghost, have him throw down
-
preaching in this church, become the greatest preacher Bethel's every
-
known ruth was better off because one wouldn't do his part.
-
But I can tell you something, the one that didn't
-
do his part.
-
Lost so much. I'm not gonna do my part.
-
And this shall be the priest do from the people,
-
from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox
-
or sheep, and they shall give unto the priest the
-
shoulder and the two cheeks and the mall. You realize
-
tonight passed the house done his part right, I've heard
-
from the Lord. I preach what he told me to
-
preach to you. Now you gonna let Maran to take
-
your blessing. I'm okay with it. I wish it'd be
-
you got blessed and Miranda got blessed. But if you've
-
decided you ain't gonna get it, sister, brother, God will
-
start sending them in because it's his plan to save
-
that which is lost. You act like you ain't in
-
your right mind and you can't understand and comprehend what
-
God's saying to you. God to take somebody like Miranda
-
and show you. Oh, yes you can understand, and yes
-
you can't do what God has told you to do.
-
Amen. Oh, yes, you do know what to do.
-
Jesus use me, the songwriter said, the old Lord. Don't
-
refuse me, for surely there's a work I can do.
