Oh my goodness. Grace Summit Church,

how's everybody feeling today?

Hallelujah. Man, you guys are you guys

are awake today. Are you ready for

Jesus?

>> Praise the Lord. Well, hey, uh if you're

a first- time guest with us, my name is

Ben. I have the opportunity to serve as

lead pastor here at Grace Summit Church,

but man, I'm not preaching today.

>> That was I I didn't I don't know. Let me

Let's try it again. I'm not preaching

today.

>> A There it is. It ain't about me. It's

about Jesus.

But hey, for those of you that don't

know, um, Grace Summit Church is

connected to a larger family of churches

called Link. And, uh, we have one of our

Link pastors here with us. He's actually

a board member for Link. And, uh,

excited to hear what God, uh, is going

to communicate through him. And, and

man, you guys like my t-shirt? Check

Okay. So, our whole leadership team was

at another link church. We were in

Nashville, Tennessee, Thursday, Friday,

Saturday, and uh at Pastor Jared's

church. Some of you might remember Jared

uh when he spoke here not that long ago.

And uh man, it was powerful. Uh Holy

Spirit was moving, people getting

freedom and and just just some good

stuff. And today uh we've got Link

coming to us from Big Rapids, Michigan.

And uh Pastor Ross Shear is here. Could

you guys help me celebrate Pastor Ross

as he comes?

Right.

Thank you. Thank you. I uh I told Ben uh

this one might be like first service. It

might not. I might surprise you. No, I

plan Hey, it's great to be with you

guys. Um it I I always talk about our

church as a family and I when I get to

travel and come do something like this,

I just say I get to be with uh my family

in a different house, right? because

we're all part of God's family. Amen.

And uh and so my name's Ross. I'm a

pastor uh in Big Rapids, Michigan. Most

people know that uh that city. If they

know that city, it's because of Fris

State University is there. F State is

national champions in football, D2 four

out of the last five years. U a lot of

people know I I don't know why I'm

telling you this, but I might as well.

Um that uh that a lot of people follow

college football remember quarterback

last year for Old Miss, Chambless. He

like came out of nowhere and became a

superstar. He was our quarterback first.

Won the national championship with us.

Got notice went there. Uh we have a lot

of pro players that come out of our our

uh our school. Anyway, um so we get the

opportunity to serve uh our community

there. It's interesting. Our city is

unique. I again I don't know I'm telling

you this, but I don't have a time

restraint. This is second service and I

like to do this in my church too. Um is

we our so our population of our city

7,000 people. So it's not not big. um

population of the college when they're

in session in person is 8,000 people. So

we are actually uh have more college

students in town than we have residents

of our town. Um God has done incredible

things. Um counting with the college

students in involved, you know,

population of our city, our church, we

have uh 15% of our city comes to our

church. Um so we have we have a very

large church in a very small area. God's

done incredible things and we have this

opportunity to to sew into the lives

that we consider our college students

missionaries because we get the

opportunity to teach them about Jesus,

help them grow in their faith and then

we pray over them that they would go out

and be missionaries in the new cities

they go to when they graduate. So, a

transient city. A lot of people come for

for school and a lot of not just

students but untraditional students,

families move to our city because of

school and then they move on and so it's

an opportunity we get. So, we love that.

We love our city. We love what God is

doing. But I also really love coming and

getting to share with other churches and

and see the, you know, the house of the,

you know, I've known Ben uh and his wife

and for a little while here and getting

to come and see all of you is is it's

exciting for me. I love it. I'm I'm a

talker and so if you come up to me after

service, we're going to be stuck for a

while and I think we have lunch

reservations, so don't go too long. You

know, I'm I'm getting hungry. Uh but

I've been a pastor there uh for 13

years, but I've been in ministry since I

was a fetus. Um, and so my dad was a

pastor. I grew up in church my whole

life. Uh, I was a worship leader uh

before I was a pastor and and so I've

been in ministry doing ministry stuff

for a long time. But I I'll be honest

with you, I never wanted to be a pastor.

Always said no. My whole life I I was

told, you know, I was always and you

you'll hear why today, but I was always

told as a young kid, I was always told,

you know, by every guest that would come

to my dad's church, "This boy has a call

of God on his life." And I'd be like,

"Whatever. Come on." Like, like, and

this is horrible. But I grew up in as a

pastor's kid, so I'm jaded, right? And I

was like, "This guy just wants a bigger

check."

Can I say that? Is that okay to say?

Like, like, he's just buttering my dad

up, telling his, "Oh, he said my son's

anointed. Like, let's, you know, add

some to the offering at the end." Like,

uh, but anyway, I grew up thinking that,

like, you know, why would they say that

to me? You know, there was a reason.

I'll tell you the reason today. Um,

but I didn't want it. I didn't want to

be a pastor. I actually thought if I

could just play my guitar and sing and

be a worship leader that I could have

the title of pastor, but I don't want to

actually be the pastor.

Um, I've been doing it for 13 years and

it's greatest joy of my life. It's I I

love it. I live it. I It's It's

I just love it. Um,

you know, I think I wanted

God to do something great with my life.

I we all that we all want God to do

something great with our life, right?

Like, so they would say that to me and

I'd be like, "Whatever, dude." And then

deep down it's like, "Well, okay. I

mean, that would be it would be cool if

God did something with my life." Um,

that's what I want to talk about today

really is I believe that God wants to do

something great through your life for

his kingdom, for his glory.

>> I believe I I say it every Sunday. I

want to say it at the end of the service

today that God has a purpose and a plan

for your life and you can't you it's

people try to do it on their own and

they're left empty, right? But I believe

that God wants to fill your life with

his goodness. And he wants to produce

things in your life that for his glory

that are going to be incredible. That

you would look back on your life at the

end of your life and go, "Wow, look at

what God did." Right? That's what I want

to talk about today. Let's bow our

heads. Let's pray. Just prepare for the

word. Father, thank you so much for

today. Thank you that for the honor of

being able to be here and share with

with my family here. God, I just pray

that uh that as you help me navigate

what I've got in my notes, that it's not

about my notes. It's about what you want

to say today. God, I pray that my

stories and the things that I talk about

that you just filter those out of our

minds by the end of today. And what

would stick to our hearts is your word,

the truth of your word, and that that's

what we would live by and we would trust

you because of your word and because of

what what you're going to do and what

you're doing in our lives. So God, just

give us ears that hear you speaking and

hearts that understand what you're

saying to us. God, give us minds that

desire to live out the instruction we

find in your word today in Jesus name.

Amen. Amen. All right. So, I'm going to

go right to the word. Well, pretty quick

here. I'm going to go to the word. So,

if you've got your Bible with you, get

it out and start turning to Ephesians

chap 20. Um I'm obsessed uh with my with

Bibles, not just cuz I'm a pastor. Um

but I I I think it's important that

every person has a Bible. Everywhere I

go, I say this. Um and and if I ever

come back here, I'm going to say it

again because I think it's important.

You need a Bible. Turn to your neighbor.

Say, "You need a Bible."

>> Like a real Bible, not your phone. You

can use your phone today because you

weren't expecting me to say this, but uh

but a phone is not good enough. The

Bible app is not sufficient. You need a

Bible. This is an approved reading

device in this building. You can use

this. Okay? Um I my name is Ross and I

approve this message. All right? Like

Like listen,

the B the word of God says that a good

man leaves a good inheritance for his

children. And this is what I'm so hung

up on. I don't believe that's talking

just about money, right? You can't serve

both God and Mammon or money, right?

It's not about money. It's about a

spiritual inheritance. I think that

happens in the life you live with your

children or those that you mentor. But

what an incredible inheritance to have

if you had a Bible,

a real Bible, and every time that you

get into it and God speaks to you, you

highlighted or wrote in it what God was

speaking to you, and someday you handed

it to your children. or if you don't

have children to somebody that you

mentored, you're passing on an

inheritance of the things the Holy

Spirit has spoken to you over years. You

can't give them your Bible app,

but you can give them Bible. This I'm I

I wore out my first one with all my

notes and things in it, and I'm working

on number two. I got five kids. I got

some work to do.

And four of them are here today with my

wife. And I love having them here.

They've heard me teach this message

already today. And they corrected me in

between service so that I would get

things right. So that's why I keep them

with me. So Ephesians, no Ephesians

Ephesians 3:20

3:20. We're going to go there. And uh

this is a scripture you'll know actually

so funny because this bumper video that

they had I first service I was like

what? That's my scripture, right? What's

the Lord's? Uh so we're going to go

verse 20. It says this. Now to him who

is able to do immeasurably more than all

we ask or imagine according to his what?

Power that is at work within us. This is

stuff. This is Paul the apostle writing

to us that he wants us to experience

God's power. Everybody say power.

>> Power.

>> All right. He wants to do it through

who? It says within

>> us. He wants He wants his power to work

through you and he wants to do things

that will blow your mind. Let me tell

you a story.

when I was a little boy. When I was a

young wartthog, I saw The Lion King

yesterday on Broadway. Just popped into

my mind. Squirrel. Uh anyway, so a

couple things you need to know about me.

I do that. Uh and the other thing is I

love response. So if I ask you to say

something or do something, say it loudly

or I'm going to make you do it again and

again until I feel like it's sufficient.

Okay. Um when when I was a when I was a

little boy, when I was nine months old,

my like I said, my mom and dad uh my dad

was the pastor of our church, lead

pastor, and of course, my mom was

leading there, too, with him. And they

were visiting a family uh that lived out

in the wilderness. Now, I haven't

traveled around here to see like how

close you are to actual wilderness. All

right? But I grew up in northern

Michigan about an hour from the Meno

Bridge. Some people know the city of

Gaylord. I grew up in Gaylord my whole

life. Um and so did my wife. Anyway,

there there's huge areas of national

forest like like hundreds of thousands

of acres. Okay. And so, uh, so, uh, this

family lived about 20 minutes out into

the the the woods, um, into the national

forest area. There were some communities

out there. They lived there. My parents

went to visit them, have dinner with

them, and they brought me. I was nine

months old, and they had dinner, and

then, uh, it was my bedtime. They didn't

have a pack and play, and or, you know,

I don't even know if there were pack and

plays back then. I don't know. Anyway,

they didn't have a crib and so they put

me on the bed and they put like towels

and coats and stuff around me so I

wouldn't roll off the bed and that's

pretty normal practice. Um, so the night

went on and they were fellowshipping

with this family and and it was like two

hours later and my mom just had this

feeling I need to go check on the baby.

So she gets up and she goes into the

room to look and and see, you know, how

I was doing. When she gets in there, I'm

not on the bed. And of course this is

terrifying, right? Um, and so she goes

in and when she finds me, I had the bed

was pushed up tight against the wall and

I had somehow rolled over and wedged

myself between the bed and the wall and

I had suffocated to death.

You're like, "What? That doesn't make

sense. You're standing right in front of

me." So, I was blue. I had already

vomited and expelled myself for for full

muscle release of death.

She starts screaming. She pulls me out

and she starts doing CPR. She yells,

"Call 911." 911 is 20 minutes away.

Dispatch is 20 minutes away. So there,

you know, they're on route. My mom is

doing CPR. My dad's praying that there's

no cell phones back then. So they're

they're calling all of the church

members that they could get a hold of on

landlines and saying, "You need to pray.

We think Ross has had the worst thing

happen and he's going to be gone and we

need to pray that God can bring him back

to life." And uh and that's a pretty big

prayer.

And so 20 minutes later, EMS comes in

and they see my mom and she's doing CPR

on me. Now, you know, CPR has changed

over the years, right? It used to be

that you'd breathe and then you do the

compressions, you breathe and and so

they come in, they go, "What are you

doing?" And she's like, "I'm doing CPR."

And they so they said, "Stop. Look at

his stomach. It's all distended. You

blew way too much air into his little

lungs and you blew him up into little

pieces. There's nothing we can do.

There's no way we can res resuscitate

him."

And of course, this crushes my mom. And

they said, 'We need to take him right

now. They picked me up and as they're

going out of the room, my dad kind of

pushes his way past him. And he said, he

put his hand hand on my head and he

said, "In in the name of Jesus, we

command that life come back into Ross

and that when it does, he has no brain

deficits or anything like that, that he

grows up totally fine." And they said,

"Sir, you need to let us go right now.

We have to get him to the hospital."

Said, "Put me in the ambulance."

They drive to the hospital. My parents,

I don't know why. Um my I was talking

with my dad about it. Um but they they

didn't like let anybody ride in the

ambulance. So they had to ride in the

car after and follow him. And they get

to the hospital and they wheel me in and

I'm just dead on the gurnie. They

haven't done anything. They said on

route they said he he was averaging uh

in the first 10 minutes about one

heartbeat a minute. But they believe

that was just electrical response of

like reflexes which is normal, right?

One a minute. No breathing. And the

doctor says there's nothing I can

nothing we can do. He's gone. And they

had called me in debt on arrival. Um,

and

you know, every church has that that

lady who's like the loud, you know, I'm

not going to take no for an answer kind

of lady. Our our lady's name was Sally

Anne. And she ran across the room. My

dad says he grabbed the doctor by his

collar and pushed HIM AGAINST WHAT?

WE'RE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU HAVE

TO SAY. GOD IS MORE POWERFUL THAN THIS.

AND THE GUY'S LIKE, "WHOA, LADY." You

know, and and my dad's like, "I'm not

going to believe what you say. I need a

second opinion." He goes, "Well, the

nearest children's, you know, pediatric

unit is is 40 minutes away. We can put

them in an ambulance and drive them

there." And uh and if you want to pay

for it, my dad's like, "Let's go." And

so they did and uh they drove uh the 40

minutes uh there and my parents actually

went past them because they went no

lights or sirens. Um, and my parents

were in the emergency room entrance as

the ambulance pulled in and the doors

open and they open the back of the

ambulance and they heard a baby crying

and they wheel me in and I'm crying and

the the EMS workers go. Well, he didn't

touch it. We just got a couple miles

from the hospital here and he started

crying. And of course, my parents are

like, "Praise the Lord. Oh my goodness."

you know, and and that everybody's

celebrating that I'm alive, and the

doctor says, "No, you don't understand.

This is not something to celebrate." He

hasn't had oxygen to his brain for an

hour. We figure an hour and 45 minutes.

He will be in he he he will be

incapacitated his entire life. He'll

never know who you are. He'll never see.

He'll never talk. You will take care of

him in a vegetative state for the rest

of your life. And when you die, he will

go to a home where he will die. And my

dad's like, "So, when can we take him

home?" Right? My dad's like, "Whatever."

So, I ended up in the hospital for

another two days. They observed me and

my dad and mom took me home and they

just watched. And they watched as I grew

up. And my dad says, "That's why I'm

just a little bit off today." And so, he

does. He loves to rub that in. But, uh,

but literally

that. So, of course, every new person,

new guest that would come to my dad's

church, they'd have to tell the story,

right? By the way, I have the medical

records in my safe at home. Like, I've

told my story on TBN, the Bible network.

I' I like it's I've had the opportunity

to share it number of different times.

And when I go to a church for the first

time, I'd like to share that story, work

it in somehow in what I'm going to talk

about. But just because um it's an

incredible story, right?

And I would say that, you know, because

of that story in my life, um, my whole

life I've said I there's no way I could

ever deny that there is a God, that he

that he's real, you know, and and I over

the years I wanted to make sure I got

the details right and all of that stuff

and having them just a couple years ago

my mom's like, you know, we have the

doctor's records. I was like, could I

have them? Like please, you know, u

because that that to be able to say here

it is, right? This is this is the line

by line of what happened. Um is is

powerful. So you know I would say that

I'd say you know

anytime somebody would question whether

God was real like I can't deny it. He's

real and I believe that.

>> Amen.

>> You know until I wasn't sure

until I got to a point in my life where

I wasn't I let me just say this. I never

I don't think I've ever been in a place

in my life where I thought God didn't

exist. But I've been in a place in my

life where I wondered if he knew I

existed. Anybody ever feel that? Right.

Like you, you know, cool God, you're

there. And and people people go, "How

could you even say that?" Like your

story, it's incredible. Let me just say

this. It's not my story. It's my mom and

dad's story.

I was nine months old. I don't remember

any of it. I I I know that story because

I've been told it because I have

records, you know, that I can look at

and see it. But but it's not my story.

It's my dad and mom's story of faith,

right? It's incredible for them, right?

But for me, it it it's tough. My I don't

remember anything. My dad's always like,

"Come on, Ross. Did you see Jesus? Like,

did you have an experience like that?

They made a movie about another kid who

did that. We could get a movie deal."

And I'm like, "Dad, listen. No, I

didn't. I don't remember any of it. I

none of it. I only know that what you've

told me and and the records and all that

stuff." And he's like, "Fine." You know,

whatever. Um,

but but you know, I didn't get to a

place where I didn't believe that there

was a God. But I did get to a place in

my life where I wondered I wondered if

this whole Christianity family of God,

experiencing God, does he really see me?

Do I really matter? Do I really have a

purpose? I got to that. I I started

asking those questions. If you're in

that place today, that's okay. I say it

at our church all the time. If you've

never questioned, if you've never

wondered that, how do you know? Right? I

want to talk today about how you know.

I want to talk about how you know,

right? The truth is I don't just want

you to know.

The Apostle Paul wanted you to know. In

fact, this scripture that we're talking

about, this immeasurably more scripture.

It starts out by Paul telling us, I want

you to know, like really know the power

of God in your life. So, let's go to the

word. If you've got your Bible or your

app with you, you can you can use that

today, I guess. Okay. Um verse 14 is

where he starts out this whole talk.

Okay. I mean, it's not the first it's

not verse one, but verse 14 is where he

gets into the subject. And he says this,

"For this reason I kneel before the

father from whom every family in heaven

on earth derives its name." He's opening

up by saying, "This is why I'm praying

for you." Okay, he let me give you a

reason why I pray for you. Verse 16. I

pray that out of his glorious riches, he

may strengthen you with what? Power

through his spirit in your inner being,

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts

through faith. And I pray that you being

rooted and established in love may have

what? Power to grasp how wide and how

long and how high and how deep is the

love of Christ. He This is what he's

saying. I want you to experience the

power of God in your life. I want you to

experience it in such a way that you

understand just how big he is.

Right? That's what he's trying. That's

what that's what Paul's saying to you.

Okay? Verse 19, it says this. And to

know this love that surpasses knowledge

that you may be filled to the measure of

all the fullness of God. How many want

to be filled with the full measure? All

right. Like I think about this. I was

drinking coffee earlier today. My son, I

asked my son to get me coffee. He filled

it right to the edge. This is actually

after last service. So now I can

actually tell this story. It happened to

me. Is you've never really experienced

coffee until you've spilled it on

yourself, right? Like like when it talks

about full measure. I I think it's

talking like brimming to the lid where

anytime you move it just a little bit,

it's going to spill out. You know, if

you if you go to a restaurant, we went

to a restaurant with the kids last night

out out to eat. This didn't happen last

night, but it's happened way too many

times. You, your kid gets a full Pepsi

and then elbows that drink, you're going

to experience Pepsi like you've never

experienced before. You are going to get

the full measure of Pepsi. Right? I

think when we're talking about the full

measure of the power of God, it's not

just fill my cup, Lord. It's fill it to

overflow. There's scripture. There's a

scripture that says that, right? Fill it

to overflowing. Right? And Paul here,

his desire is not that we would just

look at Paul and go, "Wow, look at how

God worked in Paul's life."

Paul's saying, "I want you to experience

the same fullness I experience.

How deep and how wide,

how great God's love is." And in his

words, it says, "The way that we'll

experience that is by experiencing his

power." Everybody say, "Power."

>> All right. Um, how do we get to a place

where we experience the full measure?

Okay, I want to talk about that. Is it

for me? Is it by my parents telling me,

"Hey, by the way, this happened. You

need to trust God." So many people have

left the church because their parents

said they needed to follow God.

And yet they watched their parents not

follow God.

So many people refused to ever go to

church again because they had to go to

church every Sunday with their parents,

but their parents left their their Jesus

at the door when they got home. Right?

That's not the fullness of God.

Attending church on Sunday is not the

fullness of God. The fullness of God is

experiencing the power of God in your

everyday life every day.

>> Okay? That that's that's the full

measure. Okay? But you know, we live in

a world where seeing is believing.

Anybody, you know, hear that statement,

seeing is believing. Like, and and you

know, I think that people go, "Well, you

got to have faith. It's not about

seeing." No, I think we can ask God to

show up, right? I mean, as you do know,

this is filled with promises, right?

and that it says that he there in the in

here it says that there's no shadow of

him turning from his promises which

means there's not even a hint that he

might be like nah right like so it's

he's going to fulfill them but and so I

don't think it's wrong to say seeing is

believing but it does take a a little

bit of faith to start out with um I'll

give you an example um anybody in this

room ever heard of Bitcoin

okay unless you live under a rock you

know what Bitcoin is right Bitcoin is

invisible money. Okay, which is easier

to comprehend now with debit cards and

credit cards and stuff like that. Except

for credit cards is money you now owe

and owe and owe and owe, right? It's a

gift that keeps on giving. Um, but

Bitcoin, uh, I remember when Bitcoin was

first the thing is like it's right

around 2009. Um, I remember driving in

the car. I was listening to something on

the radio. Yes. Not Spotify, the radio.

and and they were talking about this

invisible money and that it's going to

be the new thing and you could go in,

you could buy coins that you can never

actually hold in your hand or see. Um,

and that those coins would be worth

money in the future and that you could

use them for all this stuff. And I'm

like, what kind of crazy people would

believe this crap? Sorry, I shouldn't

say crap. I said idiot in the first

service. I got yelled at by my wife. And

so now I've said, if this is online, I'm

really sorry. I'm not the normal pastor

here.

Uh, so I I I minister to college

students. What can you say? Uh, but uh I

remember it came out and I just thought

it was crazy. Like a TW If you've ever

bought crypto, you have to your wallet

has to have a a a chain of words that

you have to remember as your pass key.

If you forget those words, you lose it.

Gone. Right? Some of you are like, I

only have one password I use for

everything. You should change that, too.

Um but uh but anyway, um in 2009,

Bitcoin was $1 a coin. I looked it up

this morning before I came to church.

Today, one coin is worth $75,000.

75. uh in the spring uh because I I

don't have Bitcoin, but I kind of

watching it and I was remember working

out in the gym and seeing it come up on

the on the screen that it was at

$110,000 a coin. But we'll use 75,000

for today's uh example. Um if you'd have

bought a hundred just a hundred coins in

2009, today you would have $7.5 million.

Don't you wish you believed in something

you couldn't see in 2009?

Because if you did,

it would have paid huge dividends today.

See what I did there?

If today you would choose to believe in

something you can't see

and you make a small investment,

what could that investment turn into in

your life in 20 years

or in one year

or in one month?

Because listen, God's uh investment

banking s uh scheme is better than

anyone in the world can provide for you.

It'll produce more in your life than

anything else. But you got you got to

you got to take that first step. Um I'm

a big hunter. Um I come to your state to

shoot your deer because in my in my

state they're all small. Um and so I we

go into my office and because it's like

a trophy room uh because my wife won't

let me put them up in my house and uh

and I'm like like Illinois, Ohio,

Indiana, all this all these places. So,

if you have land, I'd love to come.

It's just so good. I'm not joking. Um,

but we I have a big group of guys. We

all hunt. We all hunt all over the

place. And, you know, inevitably deer

season comes around and somebody te

texts, you know, big buck down. And my

response now is always picture or it

didn't happen. Like, I got to see it or

else because you know these guys,

they'll shoot at one and then they'll

say I got a big buck and turns out they

go to they missed it, right? or they

didn't find it or whatever. I'm like, so

like if I before I even text big buck

down, I take a selfie with it and I send

the selfie with big buck down. Um, but

uh but anyway, the picture or it didn't

happen. I think it's okay to say to God,

picture, show me. I want to experience

it. Like, I'm going to I'm going to I'm

going to try God. I'm going to I'm going

to take a step

and I want you to show up. I think it's

okay to do that. Gideon did it. You

remember that story? He put the fleece

out on the ground and said, you know,

God, make it all soaking and wet and the

ground all around it dry the next day.

And if if that works out, then I'll go

do what you want me to do. Lead the

army, you know, against this huge enemy.

And God does it the next day. He's like,

I don't know if that's good enough, God.

I think I Let's do the opposite. You

know, make make it so it's dry. And I

might have got those out of order. I

don't care. Uh you get the gist. But,

you know, the next day he wants the

opposite. Ground wet and the f the

fleece dry. And God does it, you know.

Picture it didn't happen. God, show up.

God, I want you to show up. Ephesians

Ephesians 3:20

3:20 is the next verse. We ended on 19.

Now to him, we've read it already, who

is able to do immeasurably more than all

we ask or imagine, according to his

power that is at work within who? Us,

right? Meaning Paul is telling you God

wants to do amazing works through your

life.

>> He wants to. Okay. So, um, fast forward

in my life, I'm in this bit of crisis.

I'm not sure. Like, I I believe there's

a God. I'm a worship pastor and I'm

having this feeling. So, no one is

exempt,

right?

I'm leading I remember like it was

yesterday. I'm like 20 years old. I'm

leading a night of worship. Yes, I was a

worship. Well, we'll call me worship

leader at 20 at the church. And um I'm

leading this night of worship and I'm up

there now. I got I got to tell you this.

I'm a skeptic. I grew up in my dad's

church is very much Pentecostal, Holy

Spirit, you know, praying for people,

falling out in the spirit, stuff like

that. I was real jaded. Real jaded,

right? So, like if I was ever in the

line, I would just courtesy fall before

the person got to me. Like I just I is

that okay to say? I don't like like

they'd be coming down the line. I was

like, "Oh geez, here we go again. I just

wanted to come up and confess, you know,

that I'm a sinner, you know, and now now

they're going to, you know, on me and

I'm like I don't that's gross, right?

The co era now you don't breathe in

somebody's face. I saw somebody do that

the other day. I was like and uh and so

I'm not against that. I mean fall out

spirit real thing. I've had had those

experience anyway. So, but they'd be

coming. They'd be on the person next to

me like the glory is so good, you know,

and I just go back and then you're

laying on the ground. How long do I need

to stay? You know, should I cry? Uh so

so problem is growing up in that you get

kind of jaded by that and you and then

you're wondering if everybody's courtesy

fallen like is it is it real? You know

all this stuff and and that's what I

grew up in. Um and all those those moves

of God are incredibly uh incredibly

powerful. If you've experienced those

kind of things they they're real. That

happens. It's incredible. Um when you

see it every Sunday

you grow up in it. You start to go here

we go again. Sally's up, you

and so, uh, so anyway,

I kind of grew to have this aversion to

stepping out in that, right? I didn't

want to I didn't want to do it and have

it be fake. So, it was night of worship.

I'm playing and something comes in my

head. I was like, not doing that. Not

doing that. We're in the next song and

it comes to my head again. I feel like

the Lord's telling me to say something

in the microphone. I'm like, "No,

you know, and it happens again." I'm

like, "Okay, I guess I'll do I guess

I'll do this." And so we get to the end

of the song, keys are playing, you know,

it's and I'm like,

well,

I feel like the Lord's put something on

my heart, people,

that there's somebody in this room who's

has pain in their knee and they've gone

to all the doctors and there's nothing

they can do and it's just horrible and

you're really struggling with it.

And I guess God wants to heal you

tonight.

you know, no no hand goes up. No,

nobody's like jumping over. No, there's

nobody doing a glory run around the

building. And I'm like, "All right,

cool. Let's next song." You know,

so we go on the whole night and I'm not

like down about it. I'm just, you know,

it is maybe a little bit like I didn't

see it happen. I was like, you know, I

guess that was nothing. And I remember

it like it was yesterday. I pack my

stuff up. people have kind of filtered

out of the room and I'm and I go down

the right side of our room, my right,

your left. And as I'm about halfway

back, there's an exit door, right?

Emergency exit door. I remember I'm just

about to the exit door and this lady

goes, "Pastor Ross." And I look over and

she's right here. And I'm like, "What?"

And and she goes, "It was me."

I'm like, "What do you mean it was you?"

She's like, "The leg thing.

I've like I messed my right knee up and

I've been to every specialist and they

can't they can't figure it out. I've had

surgeries. It's just the worst pain.

She's not a not a She's a young lady in

like her late 30s and she's like I just

excruciating pain and I they're like

you're going to be stuck with this for

the rest of your life. She it was me.

She said and you said that

and all the pain went out of my knee.

And I was like, "What?"

Really?

She's like, "Yeah." She's like, "I

couldn't I I like I had to use a cane

most days. Like, I can't walk. Like,"

and she starts walking around like this.

And I'm like, "No way." And she's like,

like, I'm healed. This is crazy.

And I'm like, "All right,

that's amazing." That lady was at our

church for like eight more years. Never

walked with a cane, never walked with a

limp, never had an issue with her leg

ever again. And I'm But that night, I'm

like

I'm like I had a 40-minute comm. I'm

like calling everybody I KNOW LIKE,

"DAD, DAD, you're not going to believe

it. This is happening in the thing."

He's like, "Cool, SON." I'M LIKE, "COME

ON." HE'S LIKE, "YEAH, GOD DOES THAT ALL

THE TIME." I CALLED my aunt. She was a

pastor. And I'm like, "And Chris, you

got to hear this." And she's like,

"That's amazing, right?" Like, it it

changed the course of my life because in

the moment, God gave me the picture I've

been looking for. I got a chance to see

his power on display. I wasn't amazed

that I prayed. I I didn't even pray. I

said, "God wants to heal you." And I

moved on. Right? What was amazing is

that I experienced the power, the

healing power of God. He did something

great because I said, "Okay."

because I said I would do it, right?

Because I said yes.

I think there's a lot of people who go

to church every single Sunday and they

believe that Jesus is their savior,

right? But like Paul writes in Ephesians

3, you're not experiencing the fullness.

You're not experiencing it. It says that

you may be filled to the measure of all

the fullness of God. Everybody say all.

All

>> and according to other scriptures, all

means overflowing.

It means I want to pour out so much that

you can't even have a place to store it.

There's scripture. It says he wants to

do this in your life. Right? That night

changed the course of my faith. It

changed the course of my life.

It was where I realized that if God

wanted to do something, all I had to do

was say yes. It turned me into a yes man

for the Lord.

Maybe you should be a yes man or a yes

woman for the Lord. Men, go to the

conference.

>> Beat them women.

>> Come on.

>> No offense, ladies. There's there's just

about nothing more powerful than a man

on fire for God. He'll change the whole

course of your family, your life, your

future, your legacy.

>> Right? Become a yes man. Become a yes

woman. Right? What more fullness could

there be in life than to know you said

yes to God and he did an amazing

miracle?

What more fullness could there be?

So, how do we do it?

You got to take a step of faith.

You got to try.

Do you remember when Jesus walked on the

water? Jesus wasn't the only one that

walked on the water. You remember Peter

walked on the water? That had to be a

thing, right? That had to be cool. I

mean, I know he was afraid of the waves

and eventually he went down. But for a

few seconds, he had to be like, "Whoa!"

Right? Like, I don't know anybody else

who's ever walked on the water. If

you're in this room, let's go to the

lake right after this. I want to see

this. Can I hold your hand? Does that

transfer the power? I want to stand on

the water with you. Okay? Like that had

to be unbelievable. You notice none of

the other disciples got to experience

it. And I know we look at Peter and we

say, "What a what a loser because he

ended up sinking and all that stuff."

But for a few pretty awesome moments, he

experienced something no other human

other than Jesus has ever experienced.

Because he was willing to try.

You got to be willing to try.

But what if I put it out there? What if

I try something and it doesn't work? Who

cares? It's not on you. It wasn't about

you in the first place. It's about the

Lord. You pray for healing and you don't

see it happen. That ain't on you. If it

was on you, then you'd be thinking

you're doing it by your power. Listen,

you're not very powerful. Neither am I.

Neither am I. Right? It's his power.

It's his plan. It's his purpose. We have

to be willing to try. We got to take a

step of faith. Right? Got to do it.

There's one more verse in Paul's

teaching about experiencing the power of

God. There's one more in this section.

Now, he talks about it all over the

Bible, but verse 20 we already read.

We'll read it again. Now, to him who is

able to do immeasurably more than we ask

or imagine according to his power that

is at work within us. It says this, to

him be the glory, right? In the church,

which means in our lives and in Christ

Jesus throughout all generations forever

and ever. Amen. the to God be the glory,

right? It's got to be about God and not

about you.

It's got to be about what he wants to do

and not about what you want to do. It's

about bringing glory to him, right?

Interesting today the songs that we had

uh that last one the it ended with all

glory and power and honor, you know, to

to I think it was honor at the end.

Maybe it wasn't. Um but I've not heard

that song. In fact, I didn't know any of

the songs today, but it was awesome to

learn some new songs. Um, that's odd for

me. Um, squirrel. Um,

so many people

I'm going to I'm and I'm going to I'm

going to speak to you today. So many

people are going through life going,

"What

what does God want to do with me?" Or

we're looking for our purpose.

I I talk to people all the time. They're

like, you know, I just I'm trying to

figure out what God wants me to do. I

just I'm trying to figure out my purpose

in life. What did God create for me? I

know that the Bible says I have a

purpose. What did God create for me? And

I think it becomes about me and more

about me and less about him. Right? It

needs to be what does God want to do

today?

How does God want to work today? How can

I say yes to God today? If because the

problem is is when we think what is my

purpose, it it kind of puts a finish

line somewhere. Listen, the I don't even

know what my purpose is yet. I'm doing

what I've got in front of me and what

the Lord's put in front of me today. I

don't know what a few years from now

looks like. I I have thoughts. A man

without vision perishes, right? So, I

have thoughts and visions and and

thoughts about what my future will be.

But if God goes, "No, you're going over

here." I will go, right? I will say yes

because my finish line isn't in my

purpose. My finish line is in heaven. My

finish line hopefully is well done, my

good and faithful servant. Right? And

so, so we have to stop looking at once I

figure out my purpose, then I'll get be

able to go. You just need to go now.

>> And eventually he'll work lots of

purposes out in your life, right? Lots

of things. But you got to try. You got

to try. You got to you got to want to

give him, you know, the glory, right?

And and so it's funny that video is so

perfect. It was like he wants to do a

measurably more and at the end it says

so pray or it said something like pray

you got to try

pray

for stuff start praying you you might be

surprised what happens right so I I'll

end today with a couple stories but what

I really want to land on for for you

today is that you don't have to be a

pastor for God to do awesome works in

your life and through your life. You

don't have to be something special. You

don't have to try to reach some goal.

You don't have to know the Bible enough.

All you have to do is ask the Lord to

intervene. Ask him to come into

situations. Invite him to heal people.

Invite him to bring provision into

people's lives. Ask him to do crazy

stuff.

Why not ask him to do crazy stuff? So,

um I've prayed for lots of people over

the years and I've seen nothing happen.

I've seen crazy stuff happen. Um there's

a couple in our church for years. Um the

husband was a a Assembly of God pastor

and then in retirement they moved to our

community and he still traveled and

spoke he he had spoken all around the

world. He for the Assembly of God

ministry but for God and like thousands

of people in Africa and India and in

Asia all over the place. Um I saw

pictures of him and stuff like that. His

wife traveled along with him all that

stuff. Well, she got real sick and u she

had an autoimmune disease that was

basically well it was going to kill her.

They doctors had said she had 2 weeksish

to live and uh she had gone down to like

75 lbs or 78 lb, hadn't been out of bed

in like 3 months. And um so because they

got the report that she was going to

die, um they they said, "Hey, could you

come pray one more time?" So me and

another one of our pastors went out

there were like, "Yeah, we'll pray for

her." So we go in the room and we're

just like, you know, Lord,

heal her. If it's your will, heal her.

simple. We left and the next day um her

husband Steve calls. He's like, "She's

out. I came around the corner. She's out

of bed. She hasn't been out of bed in

months." And I'm like, "Oh, okay. Well,

we're going to just pray that God's

going to complete his healing in her."

And so, sure enough, uh two weeks later,

she went to the doctor still alive. And

uh it's okay. We've all been there. I've

been there. I have five of them. Look at

them. Look at how

Stop. Stop it.

You're okay. No big deal. Um, and so,

uh, so anyway, they go to the doctor,

like all of her numbers are totally

normal. Can't figure it out.

She ends up totally healed. She's, she's

got this incredible ministry right now

that she travels around the country

ministering to widows

because a few years later, her husband

got sick. We went to the hospital and I

prayed a very similar prayer. We even

stood on the faith that what we saw

happen in her would come to happen in

him.

And about a week later, he went to be

with Jesus.

I don't know. But it's not up to me.

It's up to me to invite God into the

situation.

>> It's up to me to say, "God, come to it."

Listen, I've seen crazy stuff like that

happen. I got a sty in my eye. I've been

praying for it for three months and it's

still there. COME ON, GOD. That's an

easy one.

Come on. You got to be kidding me,

right? I don't know. Maybe it's like

Paul, a thorn in the flesh to keep you

humble. I Whatever it is, I don't know,

right? But I know that if I don't invite

him into the situation, I make it so

there's no chance for him to do his

work.

>> So, let's invite him into the situation,

right? Let's ask him to do it. I got one

more story and then I'll end. Can I give

you one more? I know it's I'm a

long-winded preacher, but Ben told me I

could. Anyway, so we're going to

So this last spring, um we got four of

the five kids here today and um we're we

this last spring it was uh all you know

all the school things going on. We got

the spring concert for our youngest kid

and so you know where kids get up there

and sing and it's great. Um, and so we

ran home real quick after school and

then we had to go back to the school for

the performance and we had about 40

minutes at home and we live on about 10

acres of land out there and uh and we

have a go-kart and that thing is

awesome. I mean it goes like 45 miles an

hour and and it's got the roll cage and

it fits me. It's awesome. And but the

kids love ripping through the trails on

our property. Our whole property is

wooded and so if you go off the trail

that far you'll hit you'll catch a tree.

Um and there's it's just you know trails

just wide enough to fit it. They're

crazy. Like, you want to like have a

near-death experience? Ride with my

kids. And so, they so they're going off

into the woods and I thought, you know,

this would be a really bad day for them

to have an accident.

So, I go upstairs and I was getting

ready to, you know, changing clothes to

get go on to the concert thing. And I

come downstairs and Allison's not in the

kitchen. The kids aren't there. I'm

like, "Where are they? We got to go."

Right? And so, my phone rings and it's

her and I'm like, "Why is she calling

me? We're at home." and she's screaming,

"The kid, the boys have rolled the

go-kart." And it's our youngest two who

are sitting over here. Um they they've

rolled the go-kart and it's bad. You

need to get back here right now. And so,

um I I I'm like start running back

there. I'm like, "What am I going to

do?" Like, "Right, they're in the clear

back of the property." So, I went and

got a vehicle and drove back down the

trail to get to them. And when I get

there, uh, Luke is standing there

holding his elbow like this and his arm

is like like it's like one of those

moments, right? I'm like, "Oh, that's

broken. That's not good." And, you know,

just crying and there's pain and

everything and like they they they had

rolled it and he put his arm out and the

roll bar came down on his arm and broke

his arm. Turns out very common go-kart

injury. Uh, but anyway, so I'm like,

"Well, I'm not going to the concert. I'm

going to the to the urgent care, you

know. So, we get him in the car and

Allison's like, "I've already prayed

over him. Let's pray again." So, he's

sitting in the back seat before we go

and we pray over his arm and I said,

"How bad's it hurt? He's got a very high

pain tolerance."

And I know that from experience. Uh and

and so anyway, I said that I I remember

him saying 10. He corrected me. He said

it was an eight, Dad. But anyway, um

what's the pain, you know, out of 10? He

said eight, apparently. and he's but

he's balling. He can't move his arm and

it's all bent, all wonky, you know. I

was like, "Well, let's go." So, we're

driving. My heart's breaking for him. Um

because that that stinks right on the

right on the front end of summer and all

of the things going on. And um and so

anyway, we're we get to the to the

urgent care. We go in and the

receptionist lady's there. She's like,

"How can we help you?" And he goes like

this. And she's like, "We're the doctor

will see you now." And and that's

broken. And so we get in there, doctor

comes in, just looks at it, goes, "Wow,

that's broken. that's really broken. Um,

and he's like that we're not going to be

able to help you here. You're going to

have to drive him to Grand Rapids, but

before we send you, let's get his X-rays

and we'll send them ahead so that they

can have a plan ready. He's probably

going to need some rods or pins or

whatever cuz that's, you know, it's not

good. Um, can you handle it if I put a

picture up of it of his arm? You guys

handle? Okay. So, you get let's get the

picture of his arm here. Okay.

>> Yeah. So, he's sitting there. the

doctor, you know, how's it hurt? He's

like, "It's an eight." And the doctor

tries to touch his arm and, you know,

he's, you know, in pain. And they said,

"We'll send you for x-rays and then

we'll get you on the road." And so he

goes out of the room and I turn to Luke.

I said, "Luke,

do you want to see a miracle?" And he's

like, "Yeah." I'm like, "Me, too." Um,

and so I said, "Let's pray one more time

before we go in the X-rays and let's

pray that God is going to make it so

that when we see the X-rays, there's no

broken bone." And he's like, "Okay." And

so I put my hand up on his arm up here

where it wasn't, you know, bent. And um

simple. I just went, "Lord, we know that

you're the healer and that your word

promises that you would heal." God, I

just pray that you would heal Luke's

arm, Luke's arm, and that when we go

into that X-ray,

it looks good. Amen. And so we go out,

we get in there, and they they let me

go, you know, and they put him under the

X-ray machine. go behind that wall where

the screens are, you know, and they do

the thing and you get to see it and and

so the girl standing next to me, X-ray

tech, and it and it pops up on the

screen and I was like,

I'm not an X-ray technician or a

radiologist, but I don't see a broken

bone. She goes, no, it has to be broken.

So, she goes out and she repositions his

arm and takes eight more pictures and

comes back. And every time she's like, I

just don't I don't know. And so I was

like, "This is awesome." And so she's

like, "We'll take you back to the room."

I'll send the doctor back in. And as

we're walking back to the room, I said,

"Hey, in your professional opinion, do

you did you see a break there?" She

goes, "Well, I'm not supposed to say

anything or I could lose my job. So I'm

going to tell you, I didn't see

anything, but you can't tell anybody."

So I'm telling everybody. Um Um So we

get back to the room and I said, "Luke,

what's the pain?" He's like, "I don't

know, like maybe a two." And the doctor

asks, and then the doctor starts pushing

on his arm and moving his arm, asking

him to move. And he goes, "Listen, sir."

He's like, "You know, I if a kid's arm

is broken and you start touching it,

they always pull it away from you." And

he's like, "I I just don't know." He's

like, "We'll have you come back in five

days and see if it's broken then."

So, they gave they gave him this little

sling thing, which he probably went home

and took off and played volleyball with

his sister in the backyard. And uh and I

was like, "Dude, we just saw a miracle."

and his eyes were like this big, you

know,

and I thought in the moment I thought,

you know, I didn't have to pray. We had

already prayed. I didn't have to pray.

And we could have went to Grand Rapids

and they could have put a cast on them

and done all the things that needed to

be done. And we could have, you know,

and I'm not nothing against doctors,

nothing about modern medicine. I do

believe God uses pe gave those people

gifts and talents, too. Amen. Right?

There's nothing wrong with that. I'm not

telling you not to go to the doctor. I'm

saying, would you involve God in every

one of those situations? Because he just

might want to do a miracle

and you might just be able to be the

vessel that he uses to work through. And

when he does stuff like that, you go,

"Wow,

God does want to do immeasurably more

than we could ask or imagine." Amen. And

he wants to do it through you, but you

have to try. You have to step out of the

boat if you want to step on the water,

if you want to experience it. So, I want

to challenge you to do that. I think

that this world needs more believers

who are willing to invite God into

unbelieving situations. I think one of

the ways that we as Christ followers, as

children of God, can make an impact in

this world for him is to invite him into

those situations. We need to stop being

quiet. Now, I'm not saying we need to go

pick it. I'm saying we need to go and

say, "God loves you. Can I pray for you?

If you feel in your heart, if there's a

moment where you go, man, I should pray

for that person. Don't hesitate another

second, just do it.

Turn to your neighbor and like Nike

says, tell them just do it, right? Like

just do it. Like just you just have to

do it. It seems crazy. You're like,

"What if they think I'm crazy?" Who

cares?

Who cares? Because he doesn't think

you're crazy.

He doesn't think you're crazy.

He thinks you're a royal priesthood, a

holy nation.

>> He wants to fill you to the full measure

of all of his goodness. He wants to fill

your cup to o overflowing. And he wants

to do immeasurably more than you could

ever ask or imagine. Amen.

>> All right, let's pray together. Father,

I just pray over each and every person

in this room. I pray that today out of

what we talked about, and I know I told

a lot of my stories of my life, God, is

is that none of the takeaway would be

about me. It would all be about that you

want to do more in each one of our

lives. So much more. And God, that if we

would just be your children who would

carry your name well, who would invite

you into the room in every sit situation

that we can, God, that you would do

more, that you would show us the picture

to prove that it would happen.

And God, that we would walk around with

stories and testimonies of your

goodness. Your word says that we

overcome the devil by the blood of the

lamb, by Jesus and what he did, and by

the word of our testimony. God, we need

more testimonies. So God, we invite you

to fulfill your promises in our life.

God, every time we pray, we invite you

to fulfill your promises so that we can

share more testimonies of your goodness

and lead more people to know you. So

God, I thank you for every believer,

every person, every child of yours in

this room. And God, I pray we would be

motivated to try to step out of the

boat.

With everybody's eyes closed, if if

you're here in the room right now and

you've not made Jesus Lord of your life,

I would love to have the opportunity to

introduce you to him. If you're watching

online, same thing. You don't have to be

in this room to choose to follow Jesus.

God has a plan and purpose for your

life. His book tells us all about it.

All about you.

A lot of people know they have a purpose

and they try to get there on their own.

The truth is the God purpose that he has

for you is only attainable by letting

him be the one to lead you there. By

letting him to be the one that that

works through your life to see it

happen. If you're here and you want to

choose to make Jesus Lord, you want to

begin. This isn't the finish line. This

is the starting line.

If you want to begin a life with Jesus

and to begin a life living out the

purpose you were created to fulfill with

nobody looking around but me. If you

want to make that decision today, just

lift your hand up high. Is there anybody

that knows they want to do that? I see

your hand. I see your hand. See your

hand. Okay. See your hand back there.

Okay. You can put your hands down. But

if you raised your hand, would just you

look up and make eye contact with me. If

you raise your hand, I see you. I see

you. I see you. There's one over here.

Back there.

I see you. But it doesn't matter that I

see you. It matters that God has always

seen you. that he's been calling your

name since the day you were born. And it

says in the word that all of heaven

celebrates when even one person chooses

to f become part of the family of God.

Today, there's multiple in this room.

And praise the Lord, heaven is going

wild because you've joined God's family.

Your name is being announced in heaven

right now. So, we're going to say a

prayer together as a church family.

We're going to pray and invite Jesus to

be Lord of your life. But let's be

honest, talk is cheap. It's very easy to

say this today and to leave and go out

of here the same. So when when pastor

comes back up, he's going to give you

the steps you need to take to do the

next steps here at the church and

online. There's got to be a way for you

to connect. I'm not the normal pastor

here, but they want you to to to do what

they say to do so that they can help you

take the first steps in God's direction.

You need support. They're here to do it.

Okay. So, we're going to pray together.

Let's close our eyes together. Let's

pray. Say this with me. We're going to

declare that Jesus is Lord. Say, Lord,

>> thank you for loving me.

>> Thank you for loving me. Thank you for

sending Jesus.

>> Thank you for sending Jesus.

>> To die on the cross.

>> To die.

>> So that I could be forgiven.

>> So that

>> Thank you that he defeated the grave.

>> Thank you.

>> So that I can go to heaven.

>> So I can go.

>> And thank you that he rose to life.

>> Thank you.

>> So that I can have new life.

>> Today I choose

>> to make Jesus

>> the Lord of my life.

>> Lord of my life.

>> And I invite the power of your spirit.

into my life

>> into my life

>> to lead me

>> into the life you created for me

>> in Jesus mighty name.

>> in Jesus name.

>> Let's all say it together. Amen. Amen.

Amen. Come on, let's celebrate those

Hey, listen. If you gave your life to

Jesus right there, um there's going to

said, salvation is the starting line,

not the finish line. And uh disciplehip

stirred a little bit, God's been

ministering to you in this hour. Uh, I

believe there's some people in here uh

that on the inside of you, you're

saying, "God, I want to see it.

God, I want to see it." And I'll just

I'll just be vulnerable for a m moment.

I spent uh 25 years in Pentecostal

charismatic circles and we've had a lot

of seasons of some incredible miracles,

things that are unexplainable that that

only God could have done it. And I've

had some seasons, man, where uh we've

been even around the charismaniacs where

it got a little weird sometimes.

God bless him.

And many of you know that last fall I

was in Israel and the week before I left

I was in the hospital uh with

excruciating back pain assuming that I

wouldn't even be able to go on the trip

and and just pray that God would make a

way and doctors and X-rays and all the

different things. And I'm standing in

Capernaum

hearing about all the miracles just like

we heard today. I'm hearing about all

the miracles. I'm standing looking at

the Apostle Peter's house in the temple

where Jesus taught and we're going

through the Bible and and standing at

the locations of all the all the

miracles and my back is on 10. I can

barely stand.

And a buddy of mine, he's actually an

assembly. He's a God pastor, had a

little intermission and and he says,

"Man, you're hurting, aren't you?" I

said, "Yeah." He says, "Well, let's

pray, man." I said, "All right, we'll do

it. can I sit while we pray because I

heard? And he called another brother

over and he just did a simple prayer.

Nothing nothing extravagant.

And uh the word that he gave along with

it, a prophetic word is he said, "I'm

just seeing a few minutes, a few hours,

a few days, a few months, a few years,

God's going to continue to heal you." Um

we didn't make it back to the bus and

we're getting on the bus and he says,

"Man, how you feeling?" So about 20

minutes later, I said, ' Man, I I don't

have any pain.

I don't have any pain.

God healed me. Can I tell you what I did

this week? Uh for a guy that has

struggled with back pain for all those

years, uh my daughter Zoe and I, we went

to Red River Gorge and climbed a

mountain. This was this was hike number

four out of five.

and uh 322 foot incline on rock and I

had to get behind Zoe and put my

shoulder and get I mean this thing was

scary. We're we're 1,200 feet above and

I got up there and I go only God because

I wouldn't have been able to do this

unless God healed me. Amen. And it's

amazing even with ministry and all the

different things uh that even I get

still surprised by God. I'm like look at

that. I'm healed in Jesus name. Praise

the Lord. So, I want to encourage your

faith. And if you're in that place,

we're going to end with some worship

here in just a moment. But our prayer

team is up here. And if you're in that

place, you're saying, "God, I want to

see it." And maybe you need that

miracle. Whatever that need is, I want

to invite you to come and let us agree

with you in faith. Would you stand to

your feet all over this house?

Father, we thank you, Lord, for a

stirring faith. God, we thank you, Lord.

God, that you've called us for more. And

God, we're we're thankful for church on

Sunday, but God, we're we're praying on

Monday and on Tuesday and on every day

of the week, God, that we would be

filled with the power of God, Lord, that

you would speak and minister not only to

us, but also through us. And Father, we

pray that your miracles would be

abundant in our life. And Father, I'm

praying for those individuals in this

room that need a miracle, that need a

fresh touch of heaven, God, that you

would meet them right where they are and

bless them. And Father, we want to see

more. We want to see you God. So your

will be done now in Jesus name. Amen.
