  1. And let's say this together Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here on Sunday morning.

  2. Lord, you're moving in this place.

  3. You're moving in my life.

  4. I'm hearing the Word of God.

  5. It's building faith in my heart.

  6. It's also water.

  7. It's watering the seed that's already been planted so that I can bring forth a crop and glorify you in my life.

  8. In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

  9. Praise God, get into the Word today and glad to have our Livestream audience with us.

  10. Follow along with us on the Word.

  11. Let's turn in our Bibles, first of all to Matthew 15 and also Matthew 11.

  12. And Matthew 15.

  13. Verse 21.

  14. Then Jesus went there and departed into the coast of Tyre in Sidon.

  15. And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts and cried unto him, saying have mercy on me, o Lord.

  16. Thou son of David, my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon.

  17. But he answered her not a word.

  18. And if disciples came and besought him, saying Send her away, for she cried after us Remindedly, inconvenienced Lord, her voice is grating on us like fingernails on a chalkboard.

  19. That's just a grinder interpretation.

  20. But he answered and said I am not sent, but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

  21. Then came she and worshiped him, saying Lord, help me.

  22. But he answered and said it's not me to take the children's bread and cast it to dogs.

  23. Ow, that hurt.

  24. And she said truth, lord.

  25. Yet the dogs are the little puppies.

  26. That word dogs means little puppies, but the little puppies eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table.

  27. Lord, all I need is just a crumb falling off the side of you.

  28. You're not gonna miss a crumb.

  29. Think about that.

  30. Think about this woman.

  31. I mean, she could have been insulted.

  32. She's not a Jew.

  33. She doesn't have a covenant right to ask him for anything.

  34. He didn't come for the Gentiles.

  35. That was later, that was not.

  36. Then he came for the Jews and she said you're not gonna miss a crumb, all I need is a crumb.

  37. You don't even have to go to my house, just give me the crumb, just let it fall outside of your mouth and I lick it up.

  38. Then Jesus answered and said unto her oh woman, greatest, I fade For, be it unto thee even as you will.

  39. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

  40. One version says that very moment Glory to God.

  41. Glory to God, all right.

  42. And then Matthew 11, 12, few pages back to the left, verse 11,.

  43. Verily, I say unto you, among them that are born of women, there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist.

  44. Not withstanding, he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

  45. And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

  46. Let me get read that last verse, verse 12, in the Amplified the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force as a precious prize.

  47. A share in the heavenly kingdom is sought for with most ardent zeal and intense exertion, and so I wanted to share a message entitled how desperate are you, how desperate are you to receive everything Jesus has bought and paid for, especially health wise?

  48. This is the greatest year yet.

  49. That's what the word we had on Rosh Hashanah evenings, september the 29th, and he said you're gonna look back this time next year 2020, that was 2019, just a few months ago and he's gonna look back and say this is my, my, this has been the greatest year of my life.

  50. And so we've got some red envelopes up here on the altar where you've described some great things that God has done for you great days, great moments.

  51. And then what would a great year look like in your life?

  52. What would it look like health wise, what would it look like financially?

  53. What would it look like in your home for your children, your family, your business, whatever it is that concerns you?

  54. What would it look like?

  55. And here, recently, I got to thinking well, you know, health is a big thing.

  56. I mean, I'll tell you, we have to contend all the time.

  57. The Jews had a healing covenant and they didn't know it.

  58. So Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel because they just went around acting like they didn't have a covenant.

  59. It included healing.

  60. They were sick and, if we're honest, the modern church is pretty sick too.

  61. We've got every kind of disease in the world assailing us.

  62. We've got all kinds of cancer, all kinds of diabetes, heart disease.

  63. I mean, people have battles and all of that.

  64. And so what is the remedy for that?

  65. Well, I believe we need to teach and preach more on what we have.

  66. You can have what you preach.

  67. You've never heard about it, you don't have faith for it.

  68. You might know it, but you get talked out of it.

  69. Symptoms have a way of talking you out of your health.

  70. I mean when you wake up hurting and can hardly get out of bed.

  71. You know, sometimes it's easy to accept, you're just looking for a way to get out of bed.

  72. You know, you're not really trying to get rid of anything, you're just trying to make it a little better.

  73. I mean, make it a little better.

  74. Now God wants to eliminate it, and so when I see this, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault.

  75. You know, I see a plumb line.

  76. See, I was a home builder for 25 years and we had to make sure everything was square and level.

  77. I mean, if you build something that's not square and level, you're gonna have a real whole heap of problems.

  78. I mean, if the foundation isn't square and level, everything else is messed up.

  79. And so I see a plumb line between hot and lukewarm.

  80. Jesus said you know I would that you be hot or cold, but since you're lukewarm, I'm gonna spew you out of my mouth.

  81. Boy, that's a problematic scripture.

  82. It was written to believers and it's written to believers, the book of Revelation written to the church.

  83. I don't know what it means, but I don't wanna find out.

  84. But lukewarm is bad, because somebody that's lukewarm is just simply somebody that was exposed to the heat and chose not to get too hot.

  85. They just kind of back up.

  86. You can understand cold.

  87. If you're cold, you just don't have the heat, you don't have a holy ghost, you don't have exposure to the word of God like you should, and you get cold.

  88. You know that's gonna be on the preacher, that's gonna be on the church.

  89. But if you're lukewarm, that means you had that ability.

  90. You could have just turned hot all the way up.

  91. He said I want you to be hot or cold, but because you've chosen Luke warm, I'm gonna spew you out.

  92. Luke warm is not desperate.

  93. I see a plumb line that goes between confrontation and resignation.

  94. Some people are just resigned to sickness.

  95. They're resigned to their lot in life.

  96. They accept whatever the devil dishes out and a lot of times they blame God.

  97. Well, god allowed, god permitted.

  98. No, god didn't allow it, god didn't permit, god did the opposite.

  99. God sent Jesus to take care of that and there's not another thing he's gonna do about it.

  100. So if you're waiting, if you're just saying, well, god allowed it, for some great reason he taught me a lesson.

  101. Well, let me ask you, did you learn anything yet?

  102. What have you learned by being sick?

  103. Oh nothing, okay.

  104. Well then, either he's not a very good teacher or you're a lousy student.

  105. Which is it?

  106. Which one do you think it is?

  107. I mean, it's just ridiculous.

  108. I hear it.

  109. I mean, I've been hearing it for 35 years.

  110. I hear excuses all the time.

  111. People have their resign.

  112. Listen, we've got to confront, we've got to get in the face of the enemy and we've got to possess what's ours by dispossessing the satanic squatters and trespassers that are on our land.

  113. Our land is our health, that's our land.

  114. Amen.

  115. I see a plumb line between desperate and disconnected, just disconnected.

  116. You know, I don't want to be bothered.

  117. I want to get in my recliner, I want to turn on the TV and I want to have ice tea, because we don't believe in hard liquor here.

  118. I want to lean back and I don't want to be bothered with your trouble.

  119. Don't talk to me about your trouble today.

  120. I just have to have time to disconnect.

  121. Praise God, how desperate, how zealous, how intense, how ardent is your faith.

  122. As I was talking about Abraham, I think Abraham's faith was waning and God had to get him by the arm and start leading him up and down through all that land.

  123. Look at that land out there.

  124. Look at all the dust.

  125. If you're a descendant, you're wondering why you don't have any kids.

  126. Your kids are going to be so numerous that you can't even number them, just any more than you can number the dust of all this land I'm giving.

  127. I'm going to give it.

  128. He hadn't given it to him yet, but I'm going to give it to you.

  129. When did it happen?

  130. 400 and some odd years later.

  131. He died before he ever got it, but yet he did get the child.

  132. That had to all come through.

  133. Isaac.

  134. Are you with me now?

  135. So how big is your desire?

  136. Mark 11, 24,.

  137. Therefore, I say what things so ever you desire when you pray?

  138. Believe that you've received them and you shall have them.

  139. Not whatever I desire for you, not whatever mama desires, not whatever daddy desires.

  140. What do you desire?

  141. See how much desire is in you see, is there enough desire in there to confront the enemy that's holding it away from you?

  142. Is there enough intensity to break through the barriers until you can stand and say I believe I received that right now, and I'm not going to be moved by, in the circumstances or how I feel about it, what it looks like.

  143. Are you with me now and John 15,.

  144. He said if my word abides in you and you abided me, you shall ask what you will and shall be done unto you.

  145. You can call that prayer.

  146. But the word ask is curious because it's not big.

  147. It really.

  148. Another meaning of the word ask is make a demand and you're not demanding of God because God's already provided it.

  149. It's not about demanding of God I don't know.

  150. You're not going to be like that.

  151. Better not be.

  152. No, who are you demanding?

  153. I'm demanding of the enemy to let my promise go, let my inheritance go.

  154. He's the one that's holding you back.

  155. He's the one that's stopping it.

  156. You demand it show up.

  157. You demand symptoms, leave your body.

  158. You demand on the basis of your covenant.

  159. That's why we're teaching about the covenant.

  160. That's why we're teaching this over and over again.

  161. See the children of Israel.

  162. Jesus said I'm not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

  163. They were lost.

  164. They've been 400 years since they'd had a prophet.

  165. Malachi was the last prophet.

  166. He didn't have a real positive word.

  167. You read the book of Malachi.

  168. He said your words have been stout against me.

  169. You're cursed with a curse.

  170. I mean he laid it on pretty thick.

  171. I could just see how, after Malachi, they probably went like this Don't send us any more of those kind of prophets.

  172. Send us the kind that'll slobber on us a little bit.

  173. Send us the kind of prophet that'll give us a participation's trophy.

  174. You know, I showed up.

  175. Here's a trophy.

  176. You just showed up, praise God.

  177. You wanted to show up.

  178. Here's a trophy, right here.

  179. You intended to show up.

  180. You didn't show up.

  181. You intended to show up.

  182. Here you get a trophy.

  183. Here's a trophy.

  184. Here's a trophy for you.

  185. Oh oh yeah, send us those kind of prophets.

  186. They had so long been mistreated, missed off in the weeds.

  187. They forgot they had a covenant of love.

  188. They saw the trouble that went on because of their sin as God punishing them instead of them, opening a door for Satan to come in and steal, kill and destroy.

  189. It wasn't God doing anything.

  190. God didn't punish any of them.

  191. God didn't sit in heaven and say okay, you rascals, I'm gonna smite you.

  192. I know that's what the Old Testament says, but it really.

  193. If you don't, you've gotta read the Old Testament.

  194. Like I've made this statement several times, some of you haven't heard the statement, but the Bible is progressive revelation and we who are in the New Testament.

  195. After the blood of Jesus has been shed and after the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, we have the Holy Ghost living on the inside of us.

  196. We know that God is love.

  197. He's not mean, he's not the author of death.

  198. It's the devil and religion that comes to steal, kill and destroy.

  199. Jesus said I'm coming that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

  200. The children of Israel when Jesus started preaching about the love and the father and all of that, they couldn't accept it because they just thought God was a judge, god was mean.

  201. God's putting us on us, god is smiting us.

  202. God, that's what had been so long.

  203. That's what they thought and they couldn't really receive.

  204. That's why they rejected Jesus.

  205. Oh, you're not.

  206. You know we don't really like that, that judgment side of God, but we believe that's true in what you're saying is oh, that's pie in the sky.

  207. They didn't accept it.

  208. A lot of people in the church don't accept.

  209. They've been lied to all their life that God is the author of sickness and disease, of poverty and lack.

  210. No, we have the answer to it Amen.

  211. And so he came to teach in their synagogues and preach the gospel of the kingdom and heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

  212. He could, there in his own hometown, do no mighty work, except a few sick folk got healed of minor ailments.

  213. When one version says why couldn't he do any good?

  214. Didn't say he wouldn't, said he couldn't why?

  215. Because of what?

  216. And their unbelief was manifested in the fact that they did not honor him, they said, well, who does he think he is?

  217. We grew up with him All this glorious day.

  218. They didn't deny that he had miracles and signs and wonders with his ministry, but they didn't accept him.

  219. They said, oh, we know who he is, we know his father and mother, and they were offended at him.

  220. They didn't want, they were jealous of him, so to speak.

  221. So there's a lack of honor.

  222. So he could there do no mighty work.

  223. What did he do?

  224. Turned his back on.

  225. He sent the disciples out by two and two to teach.

  226. Teaching and preaching is the remedy for unbelief.

  227. Are y'all getting anything out of this today?

  228. Question is, how desperate are?

  229. You See?

  230. I believe teaching and preaching can turn up the desperate meter.

  231. You know, get the oven on self cleaning.

  232. I mean, you know you can't clean the oven at 300 degrees, you just won't.

  233. You know it won't do much.

  234. But man, you turn that thing on self cleaning and then what happens?

  235. There's a little lock goes in there and goes up and then just you hear the lock lock the door wide, because if you open that, you open that door, it's gonna burn you.

  236. You'll think your name is Shadrach, meshach or Abednego, but anyway, I got thirsty talking about that one there.

  237. So you know, in the middle of all of this, here comes the Canaanite woman.

  238. Jesus is, and I mean the idea that he would do anything for her, that made the Pharisees even more enraged.

  239. I mean, that was just like the unpardonable sin to give anything to the Gentiles.

  240. They were called dogs.

  241. The Roman soldiers were dogs.

  242. I mean, they're all.

  243. Everybody was dogs.

  244. See their attitude.

  245. They had this terrible attitude.

  246. We're superior, we're, you know, we look down our nose at everybody else.

  247. They're dogs.

  248. And so Jesus went ahead and joined in with them a little bit, just kind of rub it in a little harder.

  249. When he turned around and healed this little girl, he didn't even have to go to her house, he just spoke it.

  250. One crumb fell out of his mouth yeah, go your way.

  251. Devil's gone out of your daughter, just like you believed.

  252. Oh, woman, great as I faith, the only other time he used great faith was the Centurion, who said oh Lord, just speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

  253. I recognize authority, I'm a man under authority and I say this to this one come and he comes, and this one go when he goes into this one.

  254. Do this and he does it.

  255. I'm under authority, I've done that too, and I recognize your authority.

  256. All you've got to do is speak and my servant shall be whole.

  257. And oh, I mean, jesus was delighted.

  258. He marveled Only two places where he marveled, there with the Centurion and in his own hometown.

  259. And he marveled at their unbelief.

  260. And he said oh, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

  261. So the remedy to unbelief is preaching and teaching.

  262. And so this Canaanite woman, wouldn't you agree that she was violent?

  263. I mean, she's intense, she's zealous, she's ardent.

  264. I mean she came to Jesus first and he just wouldn't even answer her.

  265. Then she went to the disciples.

  266. Oh, I see, I've messed up the protocol.

  267. I need to go to his assistance.

  268. Well, I'll go to them.

  269. And oh, they didn't give her any time of day either.

  270. Jesus, tell her to go away, bothering me, he's bothering me and she would not be denied.

  271. Oh, I'm telling you, she was intense, she was violent.

  272. There's no quit.

  273. There's no way.

  274. A desperate person.

  275. There's no quit.

  276. They're undeterred by a doctor's report.

  277. They're undeterred by someone saying they can't have what God already gave.

  278. See, this is the thing.

  279. If you're gonna go out here and try to get it because you can't get it, I said you can't get it, but you can receive it.

  280. It's already been gotten.

  281. All you have to do is receive.

  282. You see what I'm saying.

  283. See, so many Christians are bound because they're still trying to get it.

  284. They're oh, I want to get my head.

  285. No, you're never going to get it, because Jesus got it for you.

  286. You have to receive it.

  287. I said you have to receive it.

  288. It's so simple that it just.

  289. People have been so religiously brainwashed in this area and roadblock after roadblock, it's been set up by religion in front of them where they can't receive what Jesus gave them.

  290. He's already done it.

  291. I said he's already done it.

  292. There's no quit in a desperate person.

  293. There's no acceptance of anybody saying anything other than what Jesus bought and paid for.

  294. And that means you've got to have Bible knowledge of what that fact is You've got to have Bible knowledge down on the inside of you that you absolutely believe it.

  295. So the Word said it, I believe it.

  296. That settles it.

  297. End of discussion.

  298. Now I want it done.

  299. I demand you, devil, take your hands off Symptoms, get out.

  300. Says she.

  301. Cried to Jesus.

  302. That means shout and scream.

  303. She was not quiet, and I don't say that we have to shout at God or shout at Jesus.

  304. I tell you what we can do, though.

  305. We can shout at the devil sometimes.

  306. Sometimes it's good to raise our voice a couple of octaves.

  307. Sometimes we're just too quiet.

  308. Quietness sometimes is a symptom if you're not intense enough.

  309. Your desire is not turned up enough.

  310. Do you desire it or not?

  311. Or is it optional?

  312. Well, it sure would be nice, it'd be so nice if I didn't hurt.

  313. But I can suffer.

  314. I told this story before, but I don't keep up with when I tell stuff.

  315. But I went to my cousin's, you know Wake and grew up.

  316. No, I wasn't glad.

  317. This was my side of the family.

  318. It's the Baptist side of the family.

  319. God bless the Baptist, thank God.

  320. Well, my uncle, he was a Baptist deacon.

  321. He was a sweetest man and he helped pray me into the kingdom.

  322. I know he did, and this was his daughter.

  323. He had two children and his daughter and she had died of cancer.

  324. And so I went to the Wake and went to the viewing and to pay my respects, see my cousins and all, and went up to the casket and was there.

  325. And then her two sons and a daughter came up to greet me and I hadn't seen them in a long time and we chatted there and middle son said well, one thing I can say about my mother she really knew how to suffer.

  326. Well, this is like somebody spit in my face.

  327. I mean I'm sorry, I can't stand that kind of unbelief, that kind of ignorance.

  328. It's just you're going to say that about her, that she knew how to suffer, like that some kind of middle.

  329. I mean what?

  330. For nothing?

  331. Jesus did all the suffering for us and we don't get any trophy for that.

  332. I mean that's just ignorance.

  333. And I know, I mean I know she went to heaven.

  334. That's what we need to focus on, but don't be talking to me about it.

  335. And I couldn't say anything.

  336. I mean, what do I?

  337. How do I undo See?

  338. It just reminded me of how many people in the and they're I'm not saying they're not saved.

  339. They're going to go to heaven, some, but a lot of them going to go there a lot faster and quicker than they need to, if they just get the truth in them.

  340. Oh, we need the truth of the word of God.

  341. Oh, woman, great is thy faith.

  342. You know, violent faith is great faith.

  343. It makes Jesus still marvel today.

  344. I mean, you know, I would rather him marvel than be disappointed.

  345. You know, I don't want to act in any way that would disappoint him.

  346. Come on, let's lift our hands.

  347. Lord, we thank you.

  348. Right now we're turning up the knob.

  349. You know, sometimes we have to make adjustments.

  350. Brother Osteen tells a story.

  351. One time he was struggling with symptoms in his body, struggling, struggling.

  352. He set aside a day or two to fast and seek the Lord as to what he could do about it.

  353. He didn't seem like anything was moving.

  354. You know that he was standing against these symptoms and finally the spirit of God spoke to him.

  355. He says you know, the thing that's crushing the life out of your body is not my call, but what you've added to it.

  356. Ow, that hurt, that left him a mark.

  357. You know, sometimes we just we get so busy about things that we chase them.

  358. You know, we go from pillar to post.

  359. We're so busy, so super heated, especially in this society.

  360. There's a million things that we can get involved with, but what is it that God wants you involved with?

  361. Let's just pursue the things that he has for you and then that way you'll have peace and that way you'll have an anointing to accomplish things along the lines where he calls you.

  362. But unless you're like a church, I mean we can't do everything.

  363. I get all kinds of invites come to this banquet, come to this.

  364. This is a good thing.

  365. There's a lot of good things are going on that are worthwhile, but I can't go to all of those.

  366. I have to find out.

  367. What is it that I'm supposed to be involved with?

  368. Brother Hagin, of course you know his testimony.

  369. He was born with a hole in his heart, probably a blue baby.

  370. Back with a I had a cousin was a blue baby and they had a defect in their heart and they had a blue cast to their face because of the circulation problem.

  371. He died.

  372. That cousin died when he was 30, I think.

  373. And Brother Hagin had, besides, the heart defect.

  374. He was born very premature.

  375. He had heart defect and he also had blood diseases, that six or eight blood diseases.

  376. And when he was born he looked dead to his grandmother.

  377. She laid him out behind the garage.

  378. Mother almost died in childbirth.

  379. So they were taken care of her and then, after they got her out of crisis, she went back to bury the body in.

  380. Here's this little baby, this big, you know, laying on a board and, you know, on a couple of saw horses, in the back of the garage outside, you know, and it's wiggling, it's alive, and that's Brother Hagin.

  381. And so when he's 14, he became bed fast, paralyzed, could hardly move.

  382. Doctors said, you know, he's going to die.

  383. Nothing you can do for him.

  384. Baptist preacher had nothing.

  385. Well, just get him to accept it, son, you're going to have to accept it.

  386. And there was no hope.

  387. So he just started reading his grandmother's Methodist Bible and he found in there about a healing Jesus.

  388. He found in there about faith.

  389. He found in there about the woman with the issue of blood.

  390. Your faith has made you whole.

  391. And then the Spirit of God spoke to him.

  392. Here he is a Baptist boy.

  393. Spirit of God speaks to him and says her faith made her whole.

  394. Your faith can make you whole, amen, oh God.

  395. Well, you talk about.

  396. You talk about revolutionary.

  397. That Baptist preacher didn't tell him that.

  398. The spiritual authority in his town didn't tell him that.

  399. Nobody told him that.

  400. The Holy Ghost told him that, oh, come on now.

  401. He began to look in the Bible with new eyes.

  402. He began, and you know, in just a little while he just he heard from the Spirit of God.

  403. He says well, what do well people do?

  404. They lay in bed or they stand up and walk.

  405. So he swung his dead legs over the side and he stood up and he wobbled, had to get back in bed because he couldn't support his weight.

  406. He hadn't been only feeding.

  407. And a year plus.

  408. Then he tried it again, a few, few few hours later, and this time he grabbed onto the bedstead and he held up and he wobbled a little bit.

  409. He took a step or two and I mean, you know, he got dressed, he ate, he just walked right out of there.

  410. His faith made him whole.

  411. Nobody prayed for him, nobody came and laid hands on him.

  412. And you know you've heard him say well, I haven't had a headache 65 years.

  413. Remember that you ever hear that's really easy.

  414. You know, I love to hear that one.

  415. I think.

  416. How many headaches have I had, I've had a lot of them, how many bottles of Tylenol I've taken, and but he just learned to exercise his faith against these things he wouldn't claim.

  417. He said, if I had one I wouldn't tell you.

  418. Was that lie?

  419. No, it's calling things that be, not as though they were.

  420. He had to be careful what he said.

  421. He got a revelation.

  422. You can have what you say.

  423. That's what he taught us, isn't that right?

  424. We need to be more professional in our confession, don't we?

  425. Because a lot of times we just talk wrong and let the devil in because of what we speak.

  426. But anyway, I know from reading all his books and reading, listening to him for many years that he had several times where he had symptoms come up on him.

  427. Remember one time, you know, in the middle of the night he was preaching for another preacher and he was in the parsonage in the spare bedroom.

  428. In the middle of the night he had all these.

  429. He said the arming symptoms came upon me and I woke up and he said the devil appeared to me in that bedroom, the, the devil.

  430. And the devil said this time you're not gonna get your healing.

  431. And so he started laughing.

  432. Ha ha, did he feel like laughing.

  433. No, he felt like going to the emergency room.

  434. They didn't have emergency rooms in that town.

  435. Ha ha ha.

  436. And he laughed like that for 15 or 20 minutes.

  437. Finally, the devil says what are you laughing at?

  438. I'm laughing at you, mr Devil, laughing at other 15 or 20 minutes.

  439. And then he said well, why are you laughing at me?

  440. He said I'm laughing at what you said.

  441. This time you're not gonna get it.

  442. You're right, I'm not gonna get it.

  443. I don't have to get it.

  444. Jesus got it for me.

  445. Ha ha ha.

  446. Now pack up your symptoms and get out of here.

  447. Never symptom left him, see, he had to stand his ground on the covenant.

  448. How many of you remember that testimony?

  449. See, I've heard it many, many times.

  450. And then another testimony that I've heard a number of times was he had these symptoms and he said it just seemed like that he was losing ground.

  451. It seemed like but he didn't go by seem like.

  452. The symptoms were severe, they were unrelenting and he was standing against it with everything he knew to say and to do.

  453. And then one night he had a dream and him and another man were walking on some parade grounds.

  454. It looked like a parade ground, beautiful grass and stands on either side and they were talking him and this other man and the guy turned around and says oh, look, it's lions, we've gotta run.

  455. And so the guy took off running.

  456. Well, brother Hagin knew that they couldn't outrun the lions, so he just stood and he turned around and he stood his ground and those lions come running right up to him like they were gonna eat him and they started sniffing around at his feet and they turned and they trotted off and he woke up and every symptom had left him because he had stood against the death.

  457. He'd resisted him.

  458. It wasn't instant.

  459. Are y'all with me now?

  460. Now here's a man.

  461. I mean, you know he's been healed.

  462. All those years ago.

  463. The doctors had told him you know, you're not really healed, you've got a temporary remission, this is all gonna come back on you.

  464. You don't be making any long range plans.

  465. Well, he got married, had children.

  466. Yeah, he made some long range plans.

  467. You can't just do everything the doctor tells you.

  468. You gotta do what the word says.

  469. And so finally, he had a similar situation another time, which is I've only seen this in one place where he writes about this one.

  470. But he said all kinds of symptoms came against him and it just seemed like it just went on and on and on and he just kept resisting, kept resisting, went on and on.

  471. These symptoms were unrelenting again and finally he says well, I know one thing.

  472. He started rebuking the devil, he commanded all those things to leave him and he said God, I know one thing, I know my covenant.

  473. He put his Bible down on the floor.

  474. He said I stand on the word of God and he literally stood on his Bible.

  475. He stood up on top of his Bible.

  476. If you can't stand on your Bible, put that in a glass case and go buy you one.

  477. You can write in stand on amen.

  478. But he stood on that Bible and every symptom left him.

  479. Are you with me now?

  480. Sometimes you just have to go to the extreme.

  481. You're violent.

  482. You're not gonna take what the devil is dishing out.

  483. Everybody say I'm not taking it.

  484. Everybody say I'm not taking it.

  485. That's right, god.

  486. I know one thing.

  487. So we're believing that 2020 is our greatest year yet, and especially in our health.

  488. I know some of you are fighting some battles where Jesus already won them for you.

  489. So just the devil hates it.

  490. It just gets down to how desperate you are, how zealous, how intense, how ardent, how consistent you are.

  491. And James 4-7 says just submit yourself, therefore, to God.

  492. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

  493. And when you resist the devil, you can resist sickness, you can resist symptoms, you can resist pain, you can resist whatever it is that's afflicting you.

  494. You can resist it.

  495. So just these two things.

  496. Number one submit yourself to God, obey him, obey him.

  497. You know, when you read Acts 20, verse 20, paul is preaching to the preachers in Ephesus and he said I have not held back anything that was profitable for your growth.

    Acts 20:20

  498. I haven't held anything back.

  499. Jesus didn't hold anything back.

  500. He went all the way to the cross.

  501. He didn't stop short of the cross.

  502. He didn't stop short in the Garden of Gethsemane.

  503. He went all the way.

  504. He didn't hold back.

  505. See, don't hold back, obeying God.

  506. If God has said something to you, don't hold back.

  507. Don't try to make alternative plans.

  508. Obey God.

  509. If God has got something that you're supposed to do, do it.

  510. Do everything you can to do it.

  511. So he spoke some words for us last year update and upgrade.

  512. Guess what we're gonna do it.

  513. We're making plans.

  514. We've hired architects.

  515. You haven't seen the plans yet, but we're gonna roll it out here.

  516. You're gonna see what they propose and we're believing for 750, it's gonna take at least 750,000.

  517. That's all I'm willing to spend on this building.

  518. We could spend a million 750 if we wanted it.

  519. I don't wanna spend that, I just wanna update it.

  520. I wanna upgrade.

  521. I wanna get into obedience with what God said.

  522. So we're doing that part.

  523. Well, see again on your side.

  524. Maybe God has told you to do something.

  525. We'll do it.

  526. Don't hold back.

  527. Everybody say I'm not holding anything back.

  528. I'm not holding anything back.

  529. I mean be violent to obey Him, be zealous to walk in love.

  530. I mean you know to walk in love.

  531. If you've failed in that, ask God to forgive you.

  532. Ask the person to forgive you, start walking in love.

  533. You can't do anything about what you've already done wrong.

  534. Just ask the magic words Honey, I'm sorry, I was wrong, please forgive me.

  535. Can't you men, can't you do that?

  536. That's not hard to do.

  537. Quit being a right fighter.

  538. Well, yeah, but she's wrong.

  539. It doesn't matter who's right or wrong.

  540. You're wrong because you're not walking in love.

  541. That's for somebody I don't know who.

  542. I'm not gonna ask for a show of hands, all right.

  543. So, honey, I'm sorry I was wrong.

  544. Please forgive me.

  545. All right, I found out through long experience.

  546. She's always right.

  547. And God, it's just a lot easier to go ahead and say that and be done with it.

  548. Don't hold back.

  549. No, be selfish to walking in love, Be intense and praise I mean praise God.

  550. We talk too much about the devil, we talk too much about what he's doing.

  551. We talk too much about all the hindrances.

  552. Let's praise God more.

  553. Let's lift our voices and praise yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

  554. Come on, just praise Him.

  555. Glory to God.

  556. Don't hold back.

  557. I mean, it seemed like you know if it were the worst thing that happened to me and you know if it were the worst.

  558. It seems that the louder you get, the louder you are Devil.

  559. You keep this up.

  560. I'm gonna raise the roof on this play.

  561. And then number two resist the devil.

  562. Resist means to oppose him.

  563. Resist symptoms Don't put up with them.

  564. Resist fear.

  565. All of the devil tries to get you tripped up with fear.

  566. Resist discouragement.

  567. You go to the doctor and you're just really, you know.

  568. You know better than to put too much stock in what the doctor said.

  569. You go to the doctor for him to tell you what he sees with his five senses.

  570. Now you just have to be prepared to hear.

  571. Whatever it is.

  572. It's really irrelevant if he gives you a bad report.

  573. It's irrelevant because you have a good report right over here.

  574. That's the report you're.

  575. But you're wanting to hear a good report.

  576. You're wanting to hear everything is gone, everything's wonderful.

  577. And sometimes you don't hear that report.

  578. And then you're tempted to get discouraged, you're tempted to be fearful.

  579. No, no, encourage yourself in the Lord, your God.

  580. I mean, people hadn't lined up to stone you yet, like they did David.

  581. Nobody wanted to praise God with him, so he just encouraged himself.

  582. And the Lord is God.

  583. I mean, just just resist the devil, resist symptoms, resist fear, resist discouragement.

  584. Be intensely resistant to the enemy's sickness, infirmity and pain.

  585. All of that will flee.

  586. Come on, lift your hands.

  587. How desperate are you?

  588. How desperate are you?

  589. Come on, let's all stand together, praise God.

  590. You get anything out of this today?

  591. Well, it's just a simple message, but it's the word.

  592. Let's raise our right hand to heaven and let's make this confession together.

  593. Are y'all enjoying these confessions?

  594. Well, let's have this one.

  595. Say 2020 is my greatest year.

  596. Yet I am zealous to possess health.

  597. It belongs to me under my covenant.

  598. I have covenant rights and I have violent faith.

  599. I am unrelenting in my desire to have what belongs to me.

  600. I am zealous in my love for God.

  601. I submit myself to you, heavenly Father.

  602. I hold nothing back.

  603. All I am and all I have is yours.

  604. I am ardently walking in love toward others.

  605. I hold nothing back.

  606. I'm kingdom minded.

  607. I obey you in all things.

  608. I violently resist the devil and demon powers.

  609. I resist all symptoms in my mind and body.

  610. I resist fear.

  611. I resist discouragement.

  612. I demand all symptoms to leave my body in Jesus' name, body line up with the Word.

  613. I hold nothing back.

  614. I'm all in on possessing my greatest health yet, my greatest year yet, in Jesus' name.

  615. Well, come on, give the Lord a big shout of praise this morning.

  616. Glory to God, glory to God, hallelujah, hallelujah.

  617. You can be seated.

  618. Hallelujah, thank you Lord.

  619. Thank you Lord.

  620. Well, we've got a couple of wonderful praise reports this morning.

  621. I wanted to give you a report about Mike Nichols.

  622. Mike had a biopsy several weeks ago.

  623. The doctor said that he had cancer and so they did the surgery and they looked at his lymph nodes and there is no cancer.

  624. Praise God, hallelujah.

  625. Oh, cindy, I'll tell you.

  626. See, he hadn't been able to be here very much in recent days.

  627. He's just been battling and battling and battling and he's winning.

  628. Oh, thank God, come on, let's praise him again.

  629. Let's praise God.

  630. And then we had brother Dave Potter.

  631. Dave went to the doctor.

  632. He'd been a horse and he had some symptoms and finally went to the doctor and they looked down in there and they saw a growth, some growths on his larynx.

  633. Were they on his vocal cords or on the vocal cords?

  634. So he had these growths and they were nodules and they were big and they were causing the hoarseness and the doctor said that it looked like cancer and so he had to wait for a while to get some other issues settled out before they could do the surgery A whole month, wasn't it?

  635. Something like that close to it.

  636. And so Thursday they went in and there was no nodules left.

  637. There was nothing left on his vocal cords, it was all gone.

  638. And one of the vocal cords the way that Diane described it was like just a little thicker and they just kind of shaved off.

  639. That was all.

  640. And they're going to send that in.

  641. But let's just claim he's cancer free, praise God.

  642. And with the same place, those nodules did?

  643. All those nodules just disappeared, praise God.

  644. So the atmosphere is one for miracles.

  645. See, that's what Jesus was after.

  646. Jesus was after creating that atmosphere of faith.

  647. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  648. Thank you, lord.
