  1. Back in December I got to thinking about our greatest year yet.

  2. How many of you are aware of our greatest year yet?

  3. We're believing God, we have a word from God, and so I thought about these red envelopes up here and what people have on them, and I thought about healing.

  4. How much healing is going to describe your greatest year yet?

  5. Our greatest year yet?

  6. If we're to be our greatest year yet, then it needs to be our greatest health yet.

  7. And I got to thinking you know, we really just need to preach just on healing.

  8. And I looked in the calendar and we had this, we had that and we had you know.

  9. So finally I got February.

  10. I said, okay, february healing Wednesdays, and it turned into Healing Sundays.

  11. I mean we had Wednesday and Sunday all the month of February where we preached on the subject of healing.

  12. You know you can have what you preach.

  13. So if you haven't gotten this little email, it's got a wonderful recap of some of the testimonies that we've heard about.

  14. And Jimmy's here, jimmy Smith, he got to sit through a lot of that and he'd been having trouble with his ankle and it was kind of an injury that he'd been living with for quite a while.

  15. And when he went to the doctor and you need surgery, this ankle so much.

  16. And when they got in there it took him hours of surgery and now he's on the other side of that surgery.

  17. He had his faith built up and I mean the doctors are amazed at his recovery.

  18. I mean he's up and around and I'm telling you, god is, I'm telling you.

  19. And then Brother Lonnie's in the hospital with an infection in his leg.

  20. But before that he had a Doppler that showed a massive blockage in his main artery going down his leg and he wasn't getting circulation down to his toes.

  21. There were some sores on there and the doctors they said look, we're gonna have to amputate some of these toes, if not your whole foot.

  22. And I told Miss Betty, oh, he's in rehab this morning, not in the hospital, he's out of the hospital, he's in rehab.

  23. So they got the infection totally out of there.

  24. But anyway, just we sat here.

  25. He came, made an effort to be here on Wednesday night and I mean when they, when he went into the hospital for those sores, they did another Doppler, no blockage, no blockage.

  26. And he's fully, you know, he's going to rehab, praise God.

  27. And then I talked to Miss Mary Sutton.

  28. Where are you, mary?

  29. Right before the service, right back here.

  30. Okay, mary, wave at us real big so everybody can see ya.

  31. Okay, mary came Wednesday night.

  32. We capped everything off with laying on her hands of people that wanted prayer for the end of the healing Wednesdays.

  33. She came up and she'd been diagnosed with was it rheumatoid arthritis?

  34. When she was just a child, and she's had arthritis and lived with the pain of arthritis her whole life and all the pain that goes with it.

  35. And she had a stroke back a year ago, and you know.

  36. And then she's in rehab for her stroke and she started walking and she got up to a mile and a half and her left ankle was just hurting so bad, certain, so bad.

  37. And so she changed doctors and they x-rayed her all over on Monday and Tuesday.

  38. Well then, wednesday night was our last night where we laid hands on her.

  39. By Thursday morning the doctor called her and says oh, miss Sutton, you've got to get to the ER right away.

  40. Your left ankle is broken.

  41. See, they would not have known.

  42. Here she has all of these x-rays and all these doctors and the reason of the pain wasn't arthritis.

  43. She had a broken ankle and I believe the Holy Ghost just uncovered that and now she's just walking around here.

  44. Come on, let's praise God.

  45. We just believe that you're gonna be fully recovered Amen.

  46. I know there's more and more and more, but just wanted you to know that.

  47. And if you haven't got that little recap, just check your email box.

  48. Okay, are you ready for the word this morning?

  49. You don't have to stand back up.

  50. Just lift your bibles up and wave them around and make Jesus glad and the devil mad.

  51. And let's say this together let's say Heavenly Father, I'm here on purpose this morning.

  52. I'm so glad for Glorious Way Church.

  53. I'm so glad for Houston's Healing Center.

  54. I'm glad for a place that the Word of God goes forth in power and in demonstration.

  55. Today I've received the Word of God.

  56. I'm not listening for other people, I'm listening for me.

  57. My faith cometh by hearing, not by having heard.

  58. I know I've heard some of these things before, but whatever I hear again is water.

  59. My faith is being watered today in Jesus' name.

  60. Let's look at 1 Corinthians, chapter six today and we'll get into the Word of God with you.

  61. We have lots of fun for the kiddos and adults later too.

  62. 1 Corinthians six, verse 19.

  63. Paul is writing to the Corinthian church.

  64. He said what?

  65. Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own, for you are bought with a price.

  66. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are gods.

  67. And so I wanted to share a message in time of cooperating with the Holy Ghost.

  68. Cooperating with the Holy Ghost.

  69. Aren't we glad for the Holy Ghost?

  70. Some of you are glad, some of you are mad, I'm not sure, but some of you are sad.

  71. No, thank God for the Holy Ghost.

  72. Every believer has the Holy Ghost.

  73. I know that, pastor.

  74. Why are we going?

  75. Well, because we need to be refrain.

  76. We need to live like it.

  77. I'll put it that way.

  78. We need to live like the Holy Ghost is actually on the inside.

  79. He's not hitchhiking, he didn't hitch a ride.

  80. He doesn't need you to get to the other side of town.

  81. He's in there for your benefit, isn't he?

  82. First, john 4, 4 calls him the greater one.

  83. I mean to think of how Christians ought to live like the greater one lives on the inside of them, how it would change our attitude to every situation that we face.

  84. Instead of being intimidated, I mean we just know the greater was working with us.

  85. Jesus calls him in John 14, 16.

  86. He calls him the comforter the Greek word paraclete there, which carries the idea of a counselor, a helper, an inaccessor, an advocate, a strengthener.

  87. Now aren't you glad for the strengthener and the standby, in other words one called alongside to help.

  88. God is available to come alongside you, as it were, and help you.

  89. I mean, what an idea that Jesus planted in us.

  90. He said, look, it's better for you than I go away.

  91. See, Jesus had.

  92. He was only in one place at one time, but hey, I'm gonna sin one.

  93. This is gonna be everywhere present, everywhere present.

  94. We don't have to go any particular place.

  95. He lives on the inside.

  96. And so I like to say it this way you know he's the helper.

  97. He's not to do it all by himself.

  98. You know you've got to do something.

  99. If you'll just take one step, the Holy Ghost will help you take the next one.

  100. I mean, that's what you know.

  101. Sometimes we get intimidated by change and by things that we have assigned to us and we think, oh, it's just too much.

  102. Oh, this is yeah.

  103. Well, just head that direction and the helper kicks in.

  104. I said the helper kicks in.

  105. Praise God If we cooperate with him.

  106. I said if we cooperate with him.

  107. So this message is a reminder on four aspects Everybody say four In which we should cooperate with the Holy Ghost, and these are all connected, really, they're all connected with one another.

  108. When you leave one of them out, it means the other three are in doubt, they're weak, and so it's good for us to think about who we are, that we're bought with a price, that God has done this for a purpose.

  109. The first one is found over in Ephesians, chapter five, and most of us are very familiar with it.

  110. And in fact, verse 17 says wherefore, be not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

  111. A lot of people don't.

  112. Well, they want to know what the will of the Lord is.

  113. Well, here, it is right here, here's the will of the Lord, right here.

  114. And be not drunk with wine, whereas in excess, but be filled with the spirit.

  115. So the will of God for your life is for you to be filled with the spirit.

  116. Well, that's what I.

  117. You know, I got baptized in the Holy Ghost, you know, 35 years ago.

  118. Yes, I'll never forget.

  119. Well, there's one baptism, but there's many fillings.

  120. We ought to be.

  121. That word be means be-be, or be continually and habitually filled with the Holy Ghost.

  122. You see, it takes some amount of effort on our part, some amount of attention on our part to be filled and to stay filled.

  123. Well, why do we have to stay filled?

  124. Because we leak.

  125. That's the short answer.

  126. The short answer is we leak.

  127. I mean, you know, think about it.

  128. I mean, if the Holy Spirit is like rivers of living water coming into you, which is what Jesus said in John, chapter seven, then when we minister to somebody, when we just simply open our mouth and talk to somebody about the Lord, are we pray for somebody?

  129. Are we anybody ever pray for anybody else?

  130. Well then you're giving out, aren't you?

  131. And if you're giving out, you've got to get it back, you've got to be replenished.

  132. You know, I don't know my daughter, claire.

  133. She has a big old water bottle as bigger as she is, I think, big old thing and she carries that thing around with her everywhere she goes and she's always going in the kitchen, here in the office and getting it filled with water.

  134. We've got a special water thing on there, just out of the tap, where they broke the water main the other day and had to boil all the water.

  135. How many of you have had to boil your water?

  136. I'm so glad we were out of that zone.

  137. Did you see that eight foot water main?

  138. Did it remind you of my illustration on Jesus struck the rock?

  139. Amen, when Jesus struck the rock, that's what came out.

  140. That's what came out A huge amount of water, not just a little trickle like a garden hose, amen.

  141. So anyway, she's out here and she has to be replenished.

  142. She's driving here, driving there, going here, going there, and she's got to keep her water bottle full so she can get a sip of water during the day.

  143. We all have to be replenished.

  144. Everybody say replenished.

  145. And so it says here how do you stay filled with the Holy Ghost?

  146. Well, it says speaking the first word in verse, three verses speaking, giving thanks and submitting those three things.

  147. Speaking to yourself.

  148. Do you talk to yourself?

  149. Gladys will come in there and say I thought you were on the phone.

  150. I said I was talking to myself.

  151. I talked to myself, born, anything else.

  152. I'm always talking to myself, preaching to myself, talking to myself, encouraging myself, amen.

  153. And so that's how you stay full of the Holy Ghost.

  154. Speak to yourself.

  155. What Psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing, making melody in your heart to the Lord and thanking, giving thanks.

  156. Be full of gratitude, attitude of gratitude, but gratitude has to be expressed.

  157. See, the thing about staying full is speaking.

  158. That's the key.

  159. And you're speaking Psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, speaking the Word, speaking in other tongues.

  160. You want to stay full of the Holy Ghost.

  161. Say it in other tongues and then you know giving thanks.

  162. We're so tempted in this environment that we live in.

  163. It's such a negative environment, I mean it's just negative out there.

  164. How many of you notice?

  165. I mean everything's negative, negative, negative.

  166. And they have one little nice, little bright spot on the news and 19 other lousy things that you wish you hadn't seen.

  167. So it's better not to watch too much of the news.

  168. Kind of get on there and find out what's happening and then flick it off.

  169. And then, of course, the other one is submitting, submitting yourself one to another in the fear of God.

  170. What does that mean?

  171. What it just means quit trying to have your own way.

  172. See, that's really speaks of love.

  173. Love is not self-centered, it's not always trying to have the last word.

  174. You know, in 35 years of ministering other people, one of the things I've run across a lot is right fighters.

  175. What's a right fighter?

  176. Right fighters because they know they're right and they have to have the last word and they have to up.

  177. They have to one up person.

  178. Have you ever given somebody good news, give them a testimony, and they've got to do you one better.

  179. Well, that's good, but let me tell you one better.

  180. See, that's what I'm talking about.

  181. You're not submitting, you're not letting someone just praise God and then join in and praise with them.

  182. No, you got to be better than they are.

  183. See, that's not nice.

  184. That's not being full of a.

  185. That's a sure sign that you need to be filled with all the way up.

  186. John Wesley, you know the beginner.

  187. He and his brother started the great Methodist denomination back when it was Spirit Field.

  188. I mean, it was a Spirit Field denomination was all started.

  189. It's leaked over the years.

  190. It's leaked way down.

  191. I'm sorry all you Methodists, but you know you better start voting differently in your denomination.

  192. But anyway, he used to say I always liked to start every day with two hours of prayer and he was a great prayer warrior.

  193. He prayed and prayed and he said you know, and if I know I've got an especially busy day, I know that my schedule is going to be really tight.

  194. Then I pray three hours because he knew what he knew he was going to need the Holy Ghost to help him through that day and he gave more time I said he gave more time, he didn't take it out of his time with the spirit and in prayer.

  195. Are you with me now?

  196. So cooperating with the Holy Ghost includes being filled with the Holy Ghost continually and habitually, because we need to be replenished.

  197. The second one is be controlled by the Holy Ghost, be controlled by the Holy Ghost.

  198. There in 1st Corinthians, chapter six, he's talking to the Corinthian church and he was reminding them you are not your own.

  199. You are not the only one in the church that is going to glorify God in your body, because Some people act like they're their own person.

  200. Well, I'm just my own person, I'm comfortable in my own skin.

  201. Have you ever heard that comfortable way?

  202. You know you're walking in the flesh?

  203. I said you're walking in the flesh.

  204. We need to walk in the spirit.

  205. We need to realize that we don't own ourselves, we don't belong to ourselves.

  206. There's one greater that belongs to us and we ought to be controlled by him.

  207. And if you read up before you get to those verses 19 and 20.

  208. There he's talking to the Corinthian church about their behavior.

  209. They're not living right.

  210. There's a lot of.

  211. In 1 Corinthians 1.7, he says you become behind to no good gift, but yet you're carnal.

  212. You're carnal.

  213. And the reason I know you're carnal is because I hear about factions and cliques and I hear that they're sinning, the camp that's going unconfirmed.

  214. I mean, here's a man coming to church with his own, sleeping with his own mother-in-law yeah, mother-in-law, something like that.

  215. What was it, stepmother?

  216. Well, that's pretty sinful.

  217. And nobody in the church had anything to say about it.

  218. Nobody in the church confronted it.

  219. Nobody said brother, hey, get right with God right now, come up here.

  220. And so nobody confronted it.

  221. And so he's saying look, you need to be controlled by the Holy Ghost, your carnal.

  222. The word carnal means body ruled, body ruled.

  223. So what's the remedy of that?

  224. Well, ephesians 4.15 says we need to grow up into him and all things.

  225. And then in verse 22 and 24, it says put off the old man, which is corrupt, and put on the new man which, after God, is created under righteousness and true holiness.

  226. See, that's who we are.

  227. We're really who we are.

  228. We're new creatures.

  229. We're not the old man.

  230. The old man passed away.

  231. Somebody needs to send a newsflash to some Christians because they're living in the pit.

  232. Buddha judge needs to get an email.

  233. He claims to be a Christian.

  234. Ain't no Christian living like that?

  235. No such thing is that.

  236. Well, I'm part of the Christian Bank Robbers Association.

  237. We're having our annual meeting.

  238. What's the difference?

  239. None Sin is sin.

  240. There's not one sin above another.

  241. Sin is sin.

  242. You can't own sin and want sin and have sin clinging to it.

  243. He needs to put off.

  244. If he's really a Christian, he needs to put that off.

  245. Needs to put that off and put on something else.

  246. The new man.

  247. In fact, put on the Lord, jesus Christ, and make no provision for your stinking flesh.

  248. That's what the Bible says.

  249. Well, how do I do that with words?

  250. You start the day off like that.

  251. You know, father, I just yield my members as weapons of righteousness unto you, lord, I just put on the new man.

  252. Today, glory to God.

  253. You start talking like that and now you're giving the Holy Ghost permission to come and help you.

  254. Do it, so that when you're confronted with something that would normally send you into tailspin, well, he's in there to help you.

  255. Are you with me now.

  256. Everybody say control by Filled with and control by the Holy Ghost.

  257. Come on, let's lift our hand.

  258. Thank God that we have weapons of our warfare and they're not carnal but they're mighty through God.

  259. Whoo hallelujah, we don't have to live like everything else.

  260. Everybody else, all right.

  261. The third one is be led by the Holy Ghost.

  262. Be led, see.

  263. I mean, look, it just kind of makes sense, doesn't it?

  264. If you're filled with the Holy Ghost and you're controlled by the Holy Ghost, isn't it gonna be easier then to be led by the Holy Ghost?

  265. See, they all work together.

  266. When we try to be led by the Holy Ghost and leave the other two off, we're gonna have problems.

  267. You're not gonna hear accurately what the Holy Ghost wants you to do.

  268. You're asking for guidance and you're confused.

  269. Wow, well, because the other two, you hadn't done the other two, we have to do all of it.

  270. Well, pastor, that sounds like two.

  271. Well, it's not too much.

  272. You know if you've ever made a mistake and went years down the wrong pathway, investing a little bit of time in your day.

  273. Maybe you're a morning person or not.

  274. If you're a night person, do you pray at night?

  275. Brother Hagin was a night person.

  276. He did it praying at night.

  277. He didn't mind staying up till one, two o'clock in the morning and then falling asleep.

  278. He'd sleep in late.

  279. He liked to sleep late.

  280. That was his lifestyle.

  281. He learned how to do that.

  282. But most people have to get up early.

  283. Some people work, shift work.

  284. So then you really got.

  285. If you're working on a rotating shift, I've done that.

  286. I worked on a rotating shift going through college.

  287. I know exactly what that's like and I wouldn't say that at the time.

  288. I've been thinking.

  289. I thought about it a few times.

  290. I thought what if, what if I'd been saved back then?

  291. And I was trying to have a prayer life.

  292. Man, you know you're so discombobulated about the time.

  293. You get ready to.

  294. You know, use today's and you go on nights four to 12.

  295. And you get used to that after five days and you off two days, you go on graveyard midnight to eight and then you're really messed up.

  296. I was looking for a place to sleep during on the job.

  297. I had to line up a bunch of metal chairs behind the computer.

  298. I had taken nap about three o'clock in the morning.

  299. I couldn't make it on that long.

  300. I confess I'd hear that computer, that big IBM computer typing out warning messages and I'm asleep on the on the metal chairs, but not well, all right.

  301. So be led by the Holy Ghost.

  302. And the 814 Romans, 814, it says as many as are the children of God, they are led by the Spirit of God.

  303. I like to turn it around and the other direction, because they're both true.

  304. Every child, in other words every child of God, has a divine right to be led by the Spirit.

  305. And then, in verse 16, it says the Spirit himself bears witness, with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

  306. So witness, everybody say the witness of the Spirit.

  307. The witness of the Spirit is just the knowing down on the inside of you.

  308. And that's how you knew you were saved.

  309. You didn't.

  310. Most of us didn't have a vision.

  311. Jesus didn't appear to us on the road to Damascus like he did.

  312. Paul An angel didn't come like he did to Cornelius's house.

  313. I mean, most of us, we just got, we gave our hearts to Jesus and then after that, we just knew on our, on the inside, we had this overflowing peace and we knew that we were right with God.

  314. It's called the witness of the Spirit.

  315. Well, if that's how you knew you were saved.

  316. That's the primary way he's going to always guide you in every affair of life.

  317. A lot of people miss God because they're looking for an angel, they're looking for a prophecy, they're looking for some spectacular voice.

  318. You know, the Bible says there's many voices out there.

  319. You're going to start listening for voices.

  320. You might hear one, but not might not be the God's voice.

  321. The devil can deceive.

  322. He comes as an angel of light.

  323. The most reliable way to hear from God is on the inside of you, by the witness of the Spirit or the knowing of the Spirit.

  324. You just know, down in your knower.

  325. I've heard it described as peace.

  326. You just have a if God is saying yes, you just have a peace about the direction you're headed, or else you have a lack of peace about the direction you're headed.

  327. See, the witness is is saying no, don't go that way.

  328. It's green light, red light.

  329. Another.

  330. You know Brother Hagin described like a buzzer.

  331. You know he, you know he was not looking to move to Tulsa from Garland, texas.

  332. His minister was in Garland.

  333. They were operating out of his garage at the time and he was up in Tulsa just to visit.

  334. And a man he knew said Brother Hagin, I've got a building you need to look at.

  335. You ought to be up here in Tulsa.

  336. This is where it's going on, right up here.

  337. And he thought to him so well, god didn't tell me anything about coming to Tulsa, I don't have any, I don't have any direction to come to Tulsa.

  338. I mean he was happy where he was working out of the garage and they go in this building.

  339. And he said, just it, right on the inside of me it was like a buzzer went off.

  340. See, that's how he described like a buzzer went out, it went off and he knew down on the inside that this was God that he was supposed to.

  341. And Then he started talking to us.

  342. Well, lord, I don't have any money to come down here.

  343. He said you're gonna have set an X amount of money by the first of next month.

  344. You just watch me, I'm gonna do it, you just watch me.

  345. And by the first of the next month he had that money and they moved and the rest is history.

  346. The rest is history.

  347. Just off of what?

  348. Off of an angel?

  349. No, just a buzzer.

  350. Talk about a joy buzzer.

  351. You ever have a joy buzzer?

  352. Somebody's taking Everybody.

  353. Say the witness of the Spirit.

  354. First, john 510 says every believer has the witness in himself, every, every.

  355. If that includes me, everybody, say that includes me.

  356. See, don't, don't stumble over the the supernatural looking for the spectacular, don't stumble over the supernaturals.

  357. See, the witness is supernatural, just as supernatural as an appearance, just as supernatural as as, as, as the voice of.

  358. I've had the Holy Spirit speak to me.

  359. I don't seek it.

  360. Frankly, I mean it's very uncomfortable when the Holy Ghost talks loud enough for me to hear him because he doesn't talk General, like you know, like you're still small, voice is still small.

  361. Voice is your spirit, and it's usually just barely audible.

  362. But that's not what the whole.

  363. When the Holy Ghost speaks, sometimes it can be gruff.

  364. One time he spoke to me, said wake up the church, and it was, it was military.

  365. He told me to wake up the church and I had to wake up first.

  366. Hey, man, all right, so praise God, you get anything out of this today.

  367. Yeah, pastor, I've heard all this boys real good.

  368. No, we, you.

  369. This is watering, is watering your word now says watering you.

  370. Your faith is increasing and your commitment to doing these things.

  371. It's key for you to possess your inheritance this year if you want the greatest year yet you have to cooperate with the Holy Ghost.

  372. There's no other way.

  373. I said there's no other way.

  374. You won't even know what's what, who the trespassers are in your land you want.

  375. You won't even know what the enemy is doing.

  376. You know.

  377. If you, if you cooperate with the Holy Ghost, he'll help you steal the signs and you won't have to apologize like the goofy Astros did.

  378. They Listen, baseball?

  379. They've been stealing signs in baseball, haven't they haven't?

  380. They've been stealing signs in baseball for 100 years, jonathan, right, I mean, they've been stealing signs forever and ever.

  381. I mean there's a whole game about it.

  382. So they just took it to the next level and use cameras.

  383. But they've done well.

  384. You know what the Holy Ghost can steal the devil signs.

  385. But if he has a devil's gonna make some sign and you're gonna know what he's gonna throw at you before he ever throws it and you'll be ready for him.

  386. Glory to God, you'll be ready.

  387. You'll see, be so glad that you cheated.

  388. You'll be so glad you cheated on the devil.

  389. Some of you are looking at me like he is crazy.

  390. I think he's certified that's true, I am crazy.

  391. I'm going to a heavenly insane asylum.

  392. Invite you to go with me, but not today.

  393. Let me have another drink on that.

  394. Cooperating with the Holy Ghost.

  395. All right, the last one is and second Corinthians 13, 14.

  396. Oh, I love this verse.

  397. Paul is talking to the Corinthians.

  398. You know they were, you know he couldn't.

  399. You know he did correct them but he didn't.

  400. He didn't just withdraw all of his love and compassion.

  401. He wrote them two letters.

  402. I Said he wrote them two letters.

  403. He cared about them Even though they were kind of messed up.

  404. They had a lot of sin in the camp, they had a lot of disorder in their church, they had a lot of stuff that was wrong.

  405. But he didn't give up on him and he said here in second Corinthians, 13, 14, the last letter and the last verse, he says the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.

  406. Say he was from the South, you all, he'd be with you all.

  407. Be with y'all, amen.

  408. Say he was from the side.

  409. All right, so the communion of the Holy Spirit, and that word communion there means fellowship, and that's the Greek word corn in the eye, corn in the eye.

  410. It means that we can have a friendship.

  411. The message Bible says an intimate friendship With the Holy Ghost.

  412. Isn't that amazing that the third person of the Godhead we can have a possibility of having with him an intimate friendship Like your best friend?

  413. I mean, you know your best friend is not just a friend.

  414. I'm best friend is somebody you want to talk to.

  415. You talk to on a regular basis.

  416. If somebody's your best friend, you don't talk to him like once every five years.

  417. You know you text him a lot, you talk a lot and you call and you don't have anything to say.

  418. You just catch it up and a lot of times the conversation is not is not anything particularly Important.

  419. You just want to hear each other's voice.

  420. If it's a good friend, my best friend happens to be my older brother, bob.

  421. I mean, we call each other at least every week and Often we don't have anything to do except laugh and make fun of Trump's enemies and stuff like that.

  422. Make fun of foca honus, make fun of All of them went to school about their horn.

  423. I'm gonna go to school.

  424. I'm gonna go to the school they go to, like Bernie, you know.

  425. Anyway, crazy burning.

  426. But we just have fun.

  427. We get on the phone, we and I'll run something by fear, something that I would like him to pray with me about.

  428. I mean the head, sylvia, you know I lean on them.

  429. They pray for us and we pray for them.

  430. Maybe so we're.

  431. We're close and that's the Holy Ghost.

  432. He wants to have close, intimate Fellowship with you and that takes time.

  433. It takes time for you to to develop that and you don't have to do it Just in your prayer time you can be, you can know that he's in you all day long and you can be in close Fellowship with him all day long.

  434. When you're driving down the road, when you're in business, baby, you can always be conscious.

  435. God inside mind, god inside mind.

  436. It's so important.

  437. And so years ago I was.

  438. I hadn't been saved that long and I was.

  439. I had this green chair.

  440. I'd sit in and I had my Omnicord and I'd worship God on my Omnicord and sing some choruses and I'd read my Bible and pray in the Holy Ghost.

  441. And so I'd get up and go out in the backyard and preach to the squirrels and come back in and I'd spend it.

  442. I'd spend about two hours because I had my own business.

  443. I didn't have to be at work.

  444. Some of you have to be at work so early.

  445. It's pretty hard to do that all at one time.

  446. But anyway, one morning I sat back down and I just got quiet and I closed my eyes, took a breath and just meditated on him for a moment and I heard his voice and he said you're my intimate companion.

  447. Well, I just melted, I mean I tears started running down my face for God to say that me, the Holy Ghost to tell me you're my intimate companion.

  448. I just I've never forgotten it after all these years.

  449. And you know, sometimes we drift off a little bit, and I'm not saying a backslide, but you know, you don't?

  450. You?

  451. Sometimes you can get in ruts and you kind of don't don't spend the time you should.

  452. Well, don't, don't worry about what you didn't do, just get back in the saddle, get back into what you, what works, and what works is spending time with him.

  453. Let him be your intimate companion.

  454. See the father, yes, yes, the father Jesus.

  455. Yes, we should talk to Jesus.

  456. We should talk to the father.

  457. That's called prayer, but then the Holy Ghost as well.

  458. Years ago, years ago, I was just saved a few months.

  459. Gladys and I went to the World Convention of Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International.

  460. Say it real fast five times.

  461. And and so one of the speakers there we had Kenneth Copeland, we had Pat Robertson, we had all the big, big names, and that was the convention that I found out that John Osteen was had a worldwide minister.

  462. We were in a, we were in a.

  463. I'd only been going to Lakewood for about six months and I knew it was a big church, but I didn't know that much about Brother Osteen, never heard of him before that.

  464. And so we were in a shuttle going from the hotel to the convention center, anaheim Convention Center, california.

  465. Gladys and I were in this little shuttle bus and somebody on the bus says, okay, where's everybody from?

  466. And so this person was from Puerto Rico, this person was from Bahamas, this person was from England and got to me.

  467. I said Houston, oh, john Osteen.

  468. Everybody went, ah, and they started clapping and my eyes got big.

  469. I thought, god, how did they ever hear of him?

  470. I didn't know he had a worldwide minister, had no idea.

  471. But anyway, one of our, one of our main speakers was his name at that time was Paul Yongecho.

  472. I think he's changed his name to David, I think David Yongecho, who was the pastor of this massive church in Seoul, south Korea.

  473. Just, he was huge back then.

  474. It's even bigger now and that that ministry is built on prayer.

  475. I mean it's prayer.

  476. They have prayer 24-7.

  477. I mean there are people in that place praying all the time.

  478. And he got up and preached on fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

  479. I still remember he's got that heavy Chinese accent and you know you kind of you think, wow, that's, he sounds kind of funny.

  480. But you know what it's fellowshiping of the Holy Spirit?

  481. And he was.

  482. He was absolutely emphasizing how much time we ought to spend talking to the Holy Ghost, thanking the Holy Ghost, praising him.

  483. It's not in the Word.

  484. I thought in the Word.

  485. I know it's not in the Word per se, because the Holy Spirit helped write the Word and he always defers and deflects everything to the Father and the Son, but he is the third person of the Godhead and he is our intimate companion and he is worthy.

  486. He's worthy to be fellowshiped.

  487. You don't do it to the exclusion of Jesus and the Father.

  488. Amen.

  489. Are you with me now?

  490. And so these, all of these things together, you can see how, when they all work together as one, then you're in a place where you're not intimidated.

  491. You are when you find a trespasser on your property, on your land.

  492. What is land that you're inheritance?

  493. What is it?

  494. What's land?

  495. Your health, your finances, whatever?

  496. Whatever little demon is sitting on top of your blessing.

  497. I'm telling you, you're gonna know about it way before it becomes evident and you're gonna be able to get rid of it before it takes root.

  498. Amen.

  499. I mean, how many of you know it's a whole lot easier to pull something up when it's a little bitty plant than after you've let it grow there for about six months.

  500. Then it's gonna be hard.

  501. No, you can just uproot that thing and throw it away.

  502. You know, if you know ahead of time, see the Holy Ghost to help you.

  503. He'll steal the signs for you.

  504. He'll steal the signs for you.

  505. Praise God, hallelujah.

  506. And so what a joy life is as we learn to cooperate with the Holy Spirit.

  507. Come on, lift your hands and receive the Word of God today.

  508. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  509. Thank you, lord.

  510. Come on, let's praise Him.

  511. Let's praise Him.

  512. Come on, let's praise Him for the Holy Ghost, holy Spirit, we're so glad, we are filled with you.
