Let's lift our bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.
-
We already know the devil's mad.
-
A lot of people need to know that Jesus is glad.
-
You know, we can make Jesus glad by walking, by faith and not by sight.
-
Amen.
-
Let's say this together say heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here in person.
-
I have ears to hear what the Spirit is telling me today.
-
I'm not here to hear for someone else, I'm here to hear from me and I'm willing to make the adjustments necessary to receive what you have already given in Jesus' name.
-
Amen, you can be seated.
-
The last three mornings I trust that you've got your bibles out, because that's what we do.
-
We preach and teach right out of the Bible.
-
And first Chronicles, chapter 14, this morning, and also while you're looking to 1 Corinthians, chapter nine, 1 Chronicles 14, and verse eight Hallelujah, it's good to see everybody.
1 Chronicles 14 chapter mention
-
It's getting fuller and fuller and fuller.
-
In verse eight it says and when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all of Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David.
-
How many of you know?
-
They weren't looking to have a conversation, they weren't looking to pick at him, they were looking to take him out and the people behind you know, I realize there are some citizens out there that are sincerely hurt and wounded, but there's a group behind them that's inflaming all this thing and these are Marxists.
-
These are bad people.
-
They need to be arrested.
-
They're worse than the mafia.
-
They're enemies of our nation.
-
They've been around a long time and they're lying and they're fomenting rebellion, you know.
-
But I believe, I believe we're gonna have a good outcome.
-
And so the Philistines came to seek David.
-
And David heard of it.
-
Aren't you glad?
-
You know he could have been in the palace rejoicing because he'd just been made king over the whole thing.
-
You know he had had seven years of war with Saul's house and Abner was leading the charge against him.
-
Kind of reminds you of our president.
-
He's had four years of war ever since he got elected and you know he could have relaxed.
-
He could have gone to the palace and said bring me another goblet of wine.
-
Man, let's have a party.
-
Come over here.
-
Abigail, let me whisper some sweet nothings in your ear.
-
That's his second wife anyway.
-
So he was a glutton for punishment half two wives, but anyway.
-
So no, he was on alert.
-
He knew when the Philistines showed up, won't you to see that now?
-
He wasn't asleep.
-
He knew when they showed up, and so the Philistines.
-
He went out.
-
He'd heard of it and he went out against them.
-
And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Ref-I-M and David inquired of God.
-
In other words, he prayed, saying shall I go up against the Philistines and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand?
-
And the Lord said unto him go up, for I will deliver them into your hand.
-
So they came up to Baal-Pyreza and David smote them there.
-
And then David said God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand.
-
Therefore they call the name of that place Baal-Pyreza, or literally the Lord of the breakthrough.
-
Everybody say the Lord of the breakthrough.
-
All right, and then in 1 Corinthians, chapter nine and I'm gonna read out of the passion translation, because I like that.
-
You can read along in whatever Bible you've got, but I'll read 1 Corinthians nine, verse 24, out of the passion translation Isn't it obvious that all runners on the racetrack keep on running to win, but only one receives the victor's prize.
-
Yet each one of you must run the race to be victorious.
-
A true athlete will be disciplined in every respect, practicing constant self-control in order to win a laurel wreath that quickly withers, but we run our race to win a victor's crown that will last forever.
-
For that reason, I don't run just for exercise or box, like when throwing aimless punches, but I train like a champion athlete.
-
I subdue my body and get it under my control so that, after preaching the good news to others, I myself won't be disqualified.
-
And so today I wanted to share a message entitled Break Through the Wall.
-
Break through the wall.
-
Paul speaks of a race and he compares our journey through life as Christians as like an athletic contest.
-
You know Hebrews 12.
-
One says let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
-
This church has a race.
-
It's running corporately.
-
We've got some mandates and we've got a crown that God will award us if we accomplish what God told us to do.
-
One of the things that God told us church to do is wake up the church, a lot of church.
-
They don't have the truth level of truth that we've got.
-
They don't know how to look at things that are going on in this world and listen.
-
This thing's about to wind up.
-
Jesus is coming soon.
-
He's expecting a great harvest.
-
We're gonna have to figure out how to engineer a plan, and he's got it.
-
In other words, we just have to receive it A plan to reap a great harvest in this time.
-
And God's not finished with getting people saved.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Our greatest days are ahead.
-
This is our greatest year yet I don't know if y'all still believe that, but I still believe that.
-
But so we got a.
-
You know, it says in Hebrews 12 one let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
-
I have my individual race.
-
I can't run your race.
-
You can't run mine.
-
I can't run brother Mark Hankins race.
-
He's got to run his.
-
I've got to run mine.
-
I've got my race to run.
-
I have to run it.
-
With what Patience.
-
God spoke things to me 26 years ago, 30 years ago, that have not yet come to pass.
-
But I've got patience that if I keep running, I'm gonna get those things.
-
I'm gonna get crowned with those things.
-
This church is gonna get its crown.
-
Are you with me now?
-
We don't quit.
-
We have to run as to win the prize and not just merely finish Well, I finished, I finished.
-
No, we want to win.
-
We want to break the tape Now.
-
We're not running against anyone else.
-
We're not running in competition with anybody else.
-
We're talking about a figure of speech that lets us know there's a reward.
-
God rewards those who diligently run their race.
-
I mean, I like what General Patton said I wouldn't give a hoot for somebody that lost and laughed.
-
You show me somebody that laughs when they lose, when I show you a loser.
-
I like that statement.
-
It might not be in the Bible, but it's kind of similar to what Paul is talking about.
-
No, listen, listen, we're to keep going till we win.
-
And so, just like an athlete, we have to strengthen our spirits.
-
See, he said, I discipline my body.
-
See, so we're not our body.
-
I see you, but I don't really see you.
-
I see your earth suit.
-
I see the body that you live in.
-
You are inside that body, you, as the hidden man of the heart.
-
I can't see you, you know because, why?
-
Because you're hidden inside of your body, but you are a spirit being and you've got something to say about your mind and about your body.
-
We've got a people out of control.
-
We've got Christians that are listening to all this verbiage.
-
Have you noticed?
-
The Democrats have got the extreme language.
-
They've got everything is way out.
-
Donald Trump is a Russian agent.
-
I mean, they're nuts.
-
Defund the police, get rid of the police.
-
Oh, you're nuts, that's.
-
I mean they don't even have common sense.
-
They are so desperate, they're so angry because all the roadblocks, all the walls they put up, have fallen down one by one.
-
You might have some walls that you're facing, some different walls.
-
What are those walls?
-
Well, they could be health, it could be finances, it could be any number of things, family trouble, I mean, you know a little bit later.
-
I want to pray for all of you that have got family and relatives that are involved in the heat of this moment and they don't understand why you're not speaking out in agreement with them.
-
I'm not gonna agree with people that call this a racist nation.
-
I'm just not gonna do it.
-
It's not a racist nation and I am not for defunding the cops.
-
There could be bad actors in every I mean there's bad dentists, there's bad doctors, there's bad cops, there's bad.
-
I mean every now and then you're gonna run up against people that are just not very good people, but we're not gonna burn the whole thing down.
-
This is still the greatest country on earth.
-
The answer is in the Word of God, the answer is Jesus.
-
And so in a race we hit a wall and I, you know, it's been a long time since I've run a race like physical run, a race, you know.
-
But I didn't run track.
-
I know y'all don't believe me, but in high school I ran track.
-
It was expected, say, I love football, so I played football.
-
But if you played football you couldn't get off, you had to run, you had to do something else.
-
You couldn't, it didn't let you just play football.
-
You know all of them, those coaches wanted you out there year-round and so back then, you know, for me I wasn't a basketball, I never did play basketball, but I ran track and I don't know why they decided for me to run the 440 dash.
-
But that was my race, the 440, which today would be 400 meters.
-
I'm still mad that we'd adopted the metric system.
-
I don't like the metric anyway.
-
The other subject but 440 was one lap around the track, 440 yards.
-
It's a dash because you're supposed to run it flat out.
-
Well, I never could run it flat out.
-
I mean, you know, I hit a wall, I'm running around.
-
The wall was that southeast wind about 30 miles an hour that blew right across the back stretch of our track.
-
We had a really nice track, a cinder track, it wasn't a dirt track.
-
And, you know, start off pretty good because the wind is at my back.
-
You know, man, I'm feeling pretty good that first 100 yards and then I hit that turn and now the wind is kind of hitting me in the side a little bit, but I'm still running good.
-
Then I turn the corner and I'm going up the back stretch and about the time I hit the 220 yard mark halfway around, that's when the 25 mile an hour, 30 mile an hour wind hits me in the face.
-
Every month of March is track, you're training, and then April and May are track meets.
-
So March is every day you're running like 6, 440s and 5, 220s and a bunch of 100 yards and you're just running your guts out and so that hit a wall on that back stretch.
-
But I know I had a good friend of mine that won the state in the mile run, james Thurman Boogie we called him.
-
He was my roommate at A&M too one time and he was state class 2A mile champion run in his senior year.
-
But he talked about that wall.
-
You have to.
-
And Claire, you know she's run marathon races 26 miles.
-
You start, you hit a wall.
-
There's a wall, there's a physical place where your body wants to shut down.
-
Mentally, physically, you want to shut down and if you're a disciplined athlete you will push through that wall and you get what they call a second wind.
-
Some people never get to the second wind, they just quit.
-
But we're going to have to press on into our second wind.
-
See, we're coming around the final turn here and a lot of us have hit the wall.
-
I mean, you know there's and in life you're going to hit more than one wall.
-
You're going to need more than one breakthrough in your life.
-
One breakthrough won't get you through.
-
You're going to have breakthrough after breakthrough that you need.
-
Why?
-
Because the devil is not for you.
-
He is going to try to set up every kind of roadblock to get in your way.
-
Are you with me now?
-
And so we got to break through the wall.
-
Everybody say I'm breaking through the wall.
-
That is, if you want to win, how many of you want to win and gain the prize?
-
Say I mean, you know, I can't make that decision for you.
-
I can give you the kind of teaching and preaching and revelation that will help you, but you've got to do it.
-
You've got to be the one that does it.
-
And so here in First Chronicles 14, david ran the race that was set before him.
-
You know, he was a young boy, a teenager, and Samuel came to town and he was on no one's shortlist to be king, especially at his age.
-
And yet God said to Samuel this is the one.
-
And he poured the horn of oil on him while Saul is still king.
-
So technically, saul is king, but as far as God's concerned, god was through with Saul.
-
And here's his next choice 18 years old, he killed Goliath.
-
I mean, it's pretty amazing that a young man like that could do that, but he had some practice.
-
He killed the bear, he killed the lion, he knew about combat as small as he was, and we know the story of Goliath.
-
And then on that, after he was crowned king, or after he was anointed king, he was not crowned for many years.
-
I mean, you can add it up, it had to be at least 12 to 13 years that he had to run a race without the fulfillment of what he knew was God's will for his life.
-
And in the meantime he had to go through wall after wall.
-
Twice Saul could have wanted to kill him.
-
And twice he had the ability to kill Saul and didn't.
-
He said I will not touch God's anointed.
-
And he had to make friends with the Philistines and make them think that he was their friend so that they, so he could survive.
-
He was outnumbered.
-
He just had 400 guys that wound up growing to 600, you know, and they looked to him as their leader.
-
And then he had all kind of difficulties and wall after wall, and so finally he gets crowned.
-
But not the whole country belongs to him, just Judah and Benjamin and the house of Saul.
-
Saul was dead and Jonathan was dead, and so the house of Saul lived by Abner, his chief of staff, saul's chief of staff.
-
They formed insurrection against they're the moderate, you know, republicans, the never-trumpers and the Democrats they were.
-
That was the house of Saul.
-
I'm just joking y'all, I'm just trying to get y'all to laugh a little bit.
-
We gotta laugh a little bit, come on.
-
But there's a little truth in what I'm saying, alright.
-
So more than the little truth, they were not his friends, were they?
-
They were trying to undo.
-
They were trying to undo God's plan.
-
He was God's man and they didn't accept it.
-
We're seeing that right now, these people that are behind and I'm not talking about the people that are actually protesting peacefully, I'm talking about the people that are throwing the rocks over their head those people are the enemies of this nation and of the enemies of God.
-
They ought to be rounded up, but they won't be because the Democrats want to have the chaos.
-
That's another time and another place.
-
We'll pray about more of that tonight.
-
We need to pray.
-
A lot of people need to wake up.
-
And so David.
-
Then he just kept doing what he could do as king and then, finally, abner gave up, he abdicated.
-
He said look, you know here.
-
So finally, after seven years of war, long war, and Bible says that the house of David grew stronger and stronger, the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker and finally they got so weak.
-
That's what the Democrats are going weaker and weaker.
-
They're coming out unglued.
-
Everything they've tried has failed.
-
This is going to fail.
-
This whole lie is going to fail, and you know we're on the winning side.
-
I said we're on the winning side.
-
God gave this country as a gift to the world and he's not ready to take it back.
-
We're not going to change it into some socialism, socialist outpost.
-
I think Venezuela, I think Cuba.
-
Now, if you want that, go, move to Venezuela, move to Cuba.
-
But the people there trying to get out of there and come here must not be too good.
-
All right, so then you know, here, here, david is king over all of Israel.
-
The 10 tribes came and pledged allegiance to him, brought the ark back to Jerusalem.
-
He's blessed and vindicated on every side.
-
And then the Philistines came.
-
See, I'm sure he thought everything was over, but no, I'm telling you, no matter what stage you in, you can get a great victory, but don't rest too long, don't take spiritual vacations.
-
I mean, listen, be vigilant, because the enemy hates your guts.
-
He's going to try to take you down any way he can.
-
Yeah, rejoice for the victory, but rejoice before you get the victory.
-
Stay in an attitude of rejoice, and all the time is the best way.
-
Amen.
-
And so they come to defeat him.
-
In the valley of ref I am.
-
It's named after Rafa the giant, one of their giants.
-
And so David didn't just assume that he's going to get the victory.
-
He had to praise it.
-
God, should I go up?
-
Should I fight against them?
-
Are you going to give them into my hand?
-
In other words, am I going to get the victory?
-
God said, yeah, go up against them, I've given them into your hand.
-
I mean, you know that's wisdom.
-
You know we need to pray for strategy.
-
And he had a strategy.
-
And he defeated the Philistines and cleaned their clock.
-
He annihilated them, but he gave God all the glory.
-
He said God is broken in upon my enemies through my hand.
-
See, he didn't even take credit for it.
-
He said boy, did I show them?
-
No, he said God, god broke through upon my enemies by my hand.
-
It's not us that's going to get this victory, it's God that's going to get this victory.
-
But we've got to stay in contact with him and get strategy.
-
If you keep reading in First Chronicles, you'll find out that the Philistines didn't just go away.
-
They came again.
-
They arrayed and amassed a group and they came against him again.
-
And you know if he had gone out there and said, well, I've defeated them once, I'm going to defeat them again?
-
No, he had to go to God again and get a different strategy.
-
Everybody say strategy.
-
Listen, if you're going to break through, you're going to have to have a strategy.
-
Are you with me now?
-
That means you're going to have to stay close enough to God in your prayer life to hear from him.
-
Prayer is not a one way deal.
-
It's not just the old God, give me, give me, give me, give me, give it to me right now, give it to me right now, right now, give it to me.
-
I mean, that's not praying, that's begging, amen.
-
And so so he.
-
He came again to it.
-
They came again to attack David.
-
David had a different plan, and the same result was what?
-
Victory, victory he's God told him.
-
He said you go down in the, don't go up against him.
-
Go down in the, in the mulberry trees, and wait for the sound of marching at the tops of the mulberry trees.
-
Wait for the sound of marching.
-
What was marching?
-
The angels were marching at the top of those.
-
I mean he didn't go out by himself.
-
I mean that victory was won by angelic hosts.
-
We're going to, I tell you, the ministry of angels is, I'm telling you, angels are moving and they and they hearken under the voice of his word in your mouth.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Glory to God, everybody say glory to God.
-
So we all come up to the wall as we run our race and, like I said, you're going to need more than one breakthrough.
-
And what is a wall?
-
Well, it's.
-
It's.
-
Sometimes it's things we've done that we're ashamed of.
-
We start knocking ourselves down with wood, of cudd, of shudda.
-
You know, missing opportunities, miss God or disobey God, something like that.
-
Well, you know David.
-
David committed adultery and murder and God forgave him.
-
It's pretty serious moral failings and not very many people have ever done that, but a few have.
-
And you know what God is a forgiving.
-
If you ask him to forgive you, he'll forgive you whatever, because it belongs to us.
-
Forgiveness belongs to us.
-
It doesn't have to keep you bound.
-
Marriage trouble, health, infirmity, finances A lot of people have finances trouble.
-
Here we were on one of the greatest economic engines going in history.
-
I mean the lowest unemployment rate for every minority.
-
They had the best job prospects.
-
They had the people coming off of welfare, people coming off of food stamps.
-
The poor were being helped.
-
And what happened?
-
Well, they had to invent this coronavirus pandemic thing and make it into something that it wasn't, make a mountain out of a molehill.
-
And now we shot ourselves in the foot.
-
Who's suffering the most?
-
The poor are suffering the most.
-
The minorities are suffering the most out of this If they want to protest, they ought to go down to the Democrat held governor's mansions and the Democrat held mayor's offices and pick at them.
-
They're the ones that failed.
-
They're the ones that failed.
-
I'm telling you, free enterprise is one Free enterprise and capitalism wins, amen.
-
Socialism loses, and so anyway.
-
So when we come to the wall, you know it's just part of living.
-
Jesus said it this way.
-
He said in John 16, 33,.
-
He said in the world you shall have tribulation.
-
Tribulation means trouble, anguish, walls, difficulty, roadblocks.
-
You're gonna have them.
-
It's part and parcel of our earthly life.
-
You're never gonna get to a place where walls won't be erected.
-
You're never gonna run your race that you don't have to overcome and get a second wind.
-
Are you with me now?
-
See, it's gonna take what it's gonna take discipline.
-
You're gonna have to discipline yourself to build your spirit up so that it's in charge of your flesh and of your emotions.
-
This thing, people's emotions, have gone away with them and they're not listening to any reason.
-
They're not looking at even any facts.
-
The facts don't support all of the rhetoric.
-
I said the facts don't support the rhetoric.
-
To hear them talk, you would think that every cop is a killer, that every cop has it in for people of color.
-
It just isn't true.
-
A lot of cops are people of color.
-
That's been a thing that they've changed over the last 50 years.
-
There's a lot more minority participation across the board.
-
Are you saying that all the African-American cops are racist?
-
Then?
-
Is that what you're saying?
-
They don't even know.
-
They don't even know what they're saying why?
-
Because they're emotionally overcharged.
-
Listen, we gotta stay in our spirit.
-
We've got to know what the truth is and not be distracted by all this.
-
We gotta calm this stuff down and we can do that in prayer.
-
We can do that.
-
So, behind the wall though, he said you know, in the world you're gonna have tribulation.
-
But he said be of good courage.
-
Why I have overcome the world, I have broken down the wall.
-
So can you.
-
I can do all things through Christ, through strengthening with me.
-
Amen.
-
I mean, there's no wall.
-
There's no temptation, test or trial that you face that is weird or that's out of normal.
-
It's all common to man.
-
See, the devil is limited to things common to man, but our weapons are common to God.
-
That's why we can break through any kind of barrier, break through any kind of wall, so you know, when you come to the wall, don't fear.
-
I like what first Peter 412 says think it not strange In fact, I think I prophesied this last Sunday.
-
Think it not strange?
-
Because of the fiery trial that you made us to try you?
-
It's so, some strange thing happened under you.
-
But rejoice, that's what Peter said.
-
Rejoice, you mean rejoice when I've got a wall in front of me.
-
Yeah, rejoice why?
-
Because you're gonna break through it.
-
You're gonna break through it.
-
That's what you're gonna do.
-
That's what your assignment is.
-
Your assignment is to break through every wall.
-
Amen.
-
And what's behind the wall?
-
See, I believe God's goodness is behind the wall.
-
I like what brother Mark says sometimes If we knew what was on the other side of that mountain, we wouldn't be so slow to move it.
-
We'd move that thing out of the way real quick.
-
If we knew what was behind the wall, we wouldn't hesitate at the wall.
-
We'd knock a hole in it, amen.
-
I like Psalm 3119, it's one of my favorites.
-
It says oh God, how great is thy goodness, which thou hast lead up for those who fear thee, which thou hast wrought for them or performed for them, who trust in thee, before the sons of men, and I imagine a reservoir, like a big dam, like the Hoover Dam.
-
You ever see the Hoover Dam?
-
It's a big, massive concrete, and behind the Hoover Dam is this gigantic lake you know, tahoe, isn't it or something?
-
I don't know what lake it is, but anyway, huh, lake Mead.
-
Yeah, behind it, it was out there in the bottom, anyway.
-
So here it is, this big old lake.
-
It's holding back this lake and then, you know, they open the gates of that dam and they use it for hydroelectric power.
-
So a little of it, that's exactly what's behind that wall.
-
Is God's goodness, if you could just knock a little hole in it.
-
If you could just knock a little hole in it, then what God's goodness is gonna start running out of that little hole that you knocked in.
-
You don't have to knock the whole thing down, just get it started and the goodness of God will finish the job.
-
I'm telling you, god's goodness is about to burst out all over the church.
-
He's about to promote the church.
-
We're gonna have our, we have our greatest year yet because of the goodness of God.
-
People need to see His goodness.
-
People need to see that God loves them.
-
He didn't send this trouble, he's the remedy for it.
-
Hallelujah, glory to God.
-
Come on, let's lift our hands.
-
Thank God, we're breaking through the wall.
-
We're not gonna be restrained, we're not gonna be under the thumb of the devil.
-
Glory to God, break through the wall.
-
So I got three things to leave you with, and you know I mentioned one of them the number.
-
The first thing is when we come to a wall, seek God for the strategy.
-
That's exactly what David did.
-
Seek God for the strategy In 1 Corinthians 10, 13,.
-
There's no temptation, test or trial.
-
Most people use those verses temptation they think of sin, tempting to sin.
-
But the word temptation simply means test or trial or wall.
-
There is no wall taking you by such as common demand.
-
But God is faithful.
-
When you see the wall, you think God's faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted, tested or tried above what you're able.
-
But will with the wall, will with the temptation.
-
He didn't send it, but when it shows up, he will make a way of escape.
-
So your job is to find out what the way of escape is.
-
You might have to pray, you might have to find out.
-
You've got a bad report.
-
The doctor says you have cancer.
-
They're telling you what kind of treatment you're gonna have to have in order to beat it.
-
Well, you know what?
-
Don't just listen to the doctor.
-
Go to God with the situation and make sure that you have peace about following the medical advice that you're receiving Because, let's face it, some of the treatment that they suggest, sometimes the treatment's worse than the disease.
-
I said sometimes the treatment's worse than the disease.
-
See, god has a way of.
-
I'm not saying don't get medical intervention.
-
I'm saying don't just jump on it.
-
You make sure that that's the way that you're supposed to go.
-
You ought to always subject any kind of decision like that to prayer and let God be the Lord of that decision.
-
Are you with me now?
-
He's got a way of escape.
-
I said he's got a way of escape.
-
That's what he's faithful to do.
-
He's faithful, so seek God for his strategy.
-
His way of escape.
-
Number one when you come to the wall.
-
Number two Mark 11, 23.
-
Speak to the wall, speak to the mountain.
-
Quit praying about the mountain.
-
Quit praying about the wall.
-
Quit being amazed at the wall, quit fearing the wall.
-
Don't fear the wall.
-
Above all things, when you come up to a wall, you don't be afraid of it.
-
Wouldn't it be silly if a runner is out there running and all of a sudden they start to lose their strength, their legs turn to jello.
-
They can hardly catch a breath, they can hardly move, their mind is telling them you can't go, you can't go.
-
You know, a really disciplined athlete knows I'm gonna press through this, because this is temporary, I'm gonna get my second win.
-
And my buddy I talked about Boogie.
-
I mean, he had to learn how to get his second win.
-
That's when he ran.
-
He ran for the second win.
-
That's when he ran.
-
He won his races, getting that second win.
-
And he had to develop.
-
When he'd get that second win he would develop just how it was a strategic way, because a mile run is not a dash.
-
You don't run flat out, so you pace yourself.
-
And he got to be really good at pacing himself at a certain way with the other runners and then, at the right time, he'd get his second win and he'd just go right by him and break the tape.
-
And he got the state championship, class 2A, 1965.
-
You know why?
-
Because he knew how to catch a second win.
-
Did he get afraid?
-
Did he think, oh, my God, I'm gonna die?
-
No, you know better than that you know that you're not gonna die.
-
If you've been through that as an athlete, you know you're not gonna be afraid of the wall.
-
You're gonna break through the wall.
-
See, they were the same way.
-
We ought to never be afraid of the wall.
-
But speak.
-
Don't run toward the wall with your mouth empty.
-
Get your words working, get words of faith speaking through.
-
You know, on Wednesday night, for the last I don't know four or five weeks, I've been preaching on words.
-
If you haven't come on Wednesday night, look it back up on Facebook.
-
It's still on there, all of the messages that I've preached on Wednesday night.
-
I've been attacking the whole thing by every way that I can on words.
-
Our words either make us or they break us.
-
If you're gonna break through the wall, you're gonna do it with words.
-
I said you're gonna do it with words.
-
So seek God for his strategy.
-
Speak the word to that wall based on your covenant.
-
And lastly, philippians four, four rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice and I say this act like the Bible is true.
-
If you act like the Bible is true, then you're rejoicing.
-
You're not.
-
You don't have a long look on your face.
-
You're not crying and whining and moaning and groaning, complaining, but you're rejoicing.
-
Well, yeah, but nothing's changed.
-
Well, it's about to change.
-
See, it changed the minute you spoke against it.
-
It changed when you heard from God what the strategy is.
-
It changed the minute that you acted on God.
-
Do I go up against them?
-
And are you gonna give me the victory?
-
Of course he's gonna give you the victory, because faith, always faith, is the victory that overcomeeth the world.
-
Amen, praise God.
-
Break through the wall.
-
Come on, lift your hands and receive today.
-
Come on, let's give the Lord a big shout of praise for your breakthrough.
-
Somebody said how many times have I got to have a breakthrough?
-
As many as necessary.
-
I mean, I'm gonna break through as much as necessary.
-
I don't know how many it's gonna be, I don't know how many things that devil's gonna do.
-
I don't know how many people's gonna throw it in my way, but Jesus said in the world that's what we're gonna have.
-
I said in the world, that's what we're gonna have.
-
And so he's giving us the tools to break through every resistance.
-
Amen, come on, let's lift our hands again.
-
Father, we thank you today.
-
Glory to God.
