Reigning In Your Domain

Beautiful, beautiful.

I tell you the Holy Ghost is here today.

Hallelujah, happy Father's Day, all our fathers, praise God.

Let's say this together Say heavenly Father, I'm not here by accident, but I have a divine appointment to hear what is being said today, and not only to hear it but to do it, Because a hearer that doesn't do it deceives themselves, and I refuse to be deceived.

I am a bearer of the truth in Jesus' name.

Amen.

Praise God, if you're not keeping up with what's going on in the, in the, I know people that don't ever watch the news and I can certainly understand why you don't, cause it's always bad news.

It's really not news, by the way, it's a narrative, it's made up.

There really isn't any news, it's all made up.

Have you figured that out?

Yes, sir, but you still have to be informed, and that's my job, so I have to.

I have to hear enough, and, and so, if you, if you were not on live stream on Wednesday night, I covered a lot of this territory because we had an absolutely awful Supreme Court decision.

There were four things that they did wrong the early in the week, and then the last one was terrible also.

So they're really, you know, for as long as I've lived, all the way past back into Reagan's day, the, the fix for the Supreme Court is always the Supreme Court is always, you know, in modern history has legislated.

That's why we had, they took the Bible out of schools, they took prayer out of schools without a vote.

They, they, they gave women the right to abort their babies without a vote.

Never would have passed, and they have made it up as they.

We have gay marriage.

It never would have.

In fact, we had the Defense of Marriage Act.

The last time we talked about it, the nation voted against that.

And and Obama would never been elected if he hadn't said he was far, marriage between one man and one woman.

He lied.

And so you know, we, we, we're having, we have this thing.

So our deal is we're supposed to have these conservative justices.

Well, isn't it amazing all the liberal justices.

They're like canaries, they all they sit on the wire and they all tweet the same little tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet.

But the conservatives are always split somehow.

Some of them swing over to the liberal side and some of them swing over here and we wind up losing.

So what's the answer, pastor?

Well, I talked about it a little bit on Wednesday night.

I won't take any more time this morning, but I want you to know.

We're aware of it.

Certainly we need to pray, but we need to vote and we need to, we need to take both houses of Congress.

We're going to have to legislate our way back on the, on the.

I mean they, they just they took our freedom of religion.

I don't know if you saw that, but they, oh no, they didn't take it.

Yes, they did, they took it.

They lie, they can't even tell the truth.

So anyway, praise God, get me going here this morning.

It's happy Father's Day.

We have an answer.

Jesus is Lord, amen.

Let's turn in our Bibles to Romans, chapter five, please, and let me read our verse, very familiar with verse of scripture to most of us Romans, chapter five, romans, chapter five and verse 17.

For if by one man's offense, death reigned by one, that's talking about Adam Much more.

Everybody shout, much more.

They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, everybody shout, that's me.

Shall reign in life by one, jesus Christ.

And the Amplified says reign in life as kings, rain in life as kings.

You know, jesus is the one that told John in the book of Revelation that we're all, all of the believers are kings and priests under God.

And I believe if the church starts acting like kings instead of like victims, we can make things work a whole lot better, not only in our lives but in the country, amen.

And so I wanted to share a message entitled reigning in your domain.

Reigning in your domain.

You know, in my normal reading I'm in the book of Genesis and I read the other day in Genesis 126 and God made man.

Let's make man and like in our image and give them dominion.

The King James says give them dominion.

Well, dominion, you have dominion in a domain.

And the dominion was over everything that walked on the face of the earth Creeps, walks.

There's a lot of creeps still out there.

We've got dominion over the creeps.

But in the living Bible it says and let us make them masters of all of life.

I like that one, the living Bible.

Let us make them masters of all of life, praise God.

So when Paul wrote this epistle, kings reigned over their domains.

Now just think about David, because we read Psalm 21 tonight, today, and just think about David.

He's on his throne.

He had this big fancy throne, you know, and his son had even more fancy throne.

I mean, he had all kind of stuff on his throne, solomon.

But he's sitting there, he's a warrior king.

He's not just a, you know, he's not just a guy with a crown on his head.

I mean, he's a guy that fought and was a warrior.

And I just can't imagine him sitting there and saying man, I tell you, I'm just so fed up with our King's table.

We're having the same food.

Where's my fajitas?

I've been looking for fajitas now.

Well, King, I'm sorry, but the meat packer has got a case of the Kung flu and they've shut down.

I like brother, did you watch our president last night?

He the Kung flu.

I'm gonna say that all Kung, the Kung flu, it's the Kung flu, it's all these.

He said have you ever seen a disease that has more names?

It's got COVID-19, it's coronavirus.

He said the Kung flu.

Every man, I mean the whole place, went crazy.

I did too.

I started laughing and clapped the Kung flu.

That was so cute, anyway.

No, I mean he would order a decree, wouldn't he?

I mean he would just issue a decree for the fajitas, and I mean about 50 people would be jumping through a hoop to go find the fajitas.

Wherever they are.

They're gonna get it to the King's table.

Are you with me now?

So they ruled.

I mean, that's a silly idea.

But where to reign, is King's over our domain or your sphere of influence?

Each one of you has a sphere of influence and you're to reign over that.

You're to rule over that, and we're not reigning over other people, but we're reining over our own lives, our flesh.

You're to reign over your flesh.

You're not your flesh, You're a spirit lives in that body.

Paul said I keep under my body while having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.

In other words, he watched his own life.

He minded his own knitting.

He's preaching to everybody else, but he's gotta watch his own life.

That's the problem with some of these preachers that they're on internet.

They have internet ministries and internet.

They have TV ministers.

You don't know what their life is.

You don't know where they live.

You don't know what they're doing in between their broadcasts.

It's dangerous.

Now Got a lot of false preachers and teachers.

I mentioned a couple of them the other night.

You might wanna look that back up on Facebook or YouTube and watch it.

But you rule over your flesh, over your mind, over your thought life.

You rule over your home.

What goes on in your home is up to you.

You're the ruler, you're the king of that domain.

You don't just let anything happen.

You rule over it.

You're family, you're health, man, fathers I'm talking to you especially.

It's Father's Day.

You get honor today, but it ought to remind you that if you are a father, if you are a husband, if you have a household, you ought to be ruling in rainy.

I don't mean you tell everybody what to do and they've got to snap to it.

I'm talking about spiritually.

I'm talking about be the gatekeeper in your house and don't let devils in.

Did you know there's devils?

A lot of churches don't talk about devils.

They're afraid of devils.

We're not afraid, we just step on them.

Amen, amen.

So your health, your finances, everything that hinders you, you rule and reign over.

And why must you reign?

See a lot of people.

They just don't.

They know a little about what I'm talking about.

You may have heard this kind of preaching lots of times, but there's a gap.

There's a gap between knowing and doing.

I said there's a gap between knowing and doing.

You know, to know it is one thing, to do it is another thing.

You can know something and not do it, and it didn't really matter that you knew it.

It's not what you know, it's what you do.

Faith is not a knowledge, faith is an act.

Faith is doing, amen, amen.

And so that gap has to be closed.

That's my job.

My job as a pastor is to is to close the gaps in your life between the things you know that you should be doing and the things that you're actually doing, and give you the ammunition you need for your gospel gun.

Amen, I wanna keep you fully loaded, praise God.

And so why must you reign?

Because if you don't, all those other things, everything I mentioned your family, your home, your health, your thoughts, your finances, demon powers, all of those will reign.

Instead, they will have their way.

Because, why?

Because you didn't reign, there was a power vacuum.

That is why our country is in a mess right now.

There's a power vacuum.

That's right.

Yeah, I mean these people in charge of these cities, in Minneapolis and especially Seattle.

I mean, for God's sake, get a grip, lady.

You know, I really I like what President Trump said last night.

He said I wanna pass a law that anybody burns a flag they go to jail for a year.

I believe that, well, that's not freedom of speech.

Well, you know we have freedom of speech, but there ought to be limits.

The flag is something that we all hold dear and if we don't hold it there, then move to the country where you can hold their flag dear, because if you live here, it ought to not be optional.

That's not freedom of speech, that's a power vacuum.

And while I'm at it, you know all you Houston Texans and you Houston Texan coach, you're gonna lose this guy because I won't watch another day on the football.

I could care less.

If you go out there and you kneel at our flag and you kneel and protest at our anthem, I guarantee I'm done with you and all of your sponsors.

They ought to know that, because we already went through that year before last.

They're gonna find out how lovely it is to play it without a crowd.

That's gonna be a.

They're gonna find out.

That's just like a glorified practice, you know.

Anyway.

So there's a power.

Everybody say power vacuum.

I say you can't afford to have a power vacuum in your life.

You, if you're not ruling and reigning who is Amen?

That's a good question to ask.

And how Bible says.

It tells you how to reign.

How do you reign?

Through Jesus Christ, and Jesus is who.

He's the Word, he is the Word.

You're gonna rule and reign through the Word of God and through Christ, the anointed one.

You've got to have the anointed the Word for the situation you face.

That's the rainbow Word.

You rule through the rainbow, the God breathed Word to you at the circumstance that you are facing.

You're gonna rule and reign over it.

And let's not wait until we have, let's not be like the typical Republican who waits until there's a problem before they try to figure out the answer.

You know the Democrats, every situation, they've got a drawer full of things.

They tricks that they pull, lies that they tell They've been doing this for as long as I've been alive and maybe longer.

And you know they pull them out and man, I mean that guy gets killed on the side of the road.

Do you think that was just spontaneous?

No, that was planned.

All of the other stuff that happened, the looting, the burning you know I just laughed and President Trump was making fun of the CNN reporter.

He was standing in front of a burning building.

He says it's a peaceful demonstration.

He's peaceful.

The whole world is on fire.

It's peaceful.

They're determined to call them, you know, protesters instead of looters, instead of criminals.

Let's face it they're criminals.

They belong in jail.

You know, minneapolis, they arrested a bunch of those people.

I'm not talking about protesters with a sign.

I'm talking about people that are lighting fires, throwing bricks, looting, stealing, money stealing.

You know, killing the poor guy that owned the, that was trying to protect his friend's pawn shop, and he is a 35 year police veteran, retired.

Those people were arrested and the next day turned out on the street.

Sounds like Houston.

That's what happens here.

That's exactly what happens right here in Houston.

They're arrested and they say oh well, you're poor, you can't afford the bail.

Well, just show up on personal.

They never show back up, of course.

They just go out and hide, you know, car jack another car or jug another customer of the bank or whatever that they have to do, selling more drugs.

They don't ever come back until they're arrested the second time, the third time, the fourth time, the fifth time.

This is what happens when Democrats are in charge of anything.

Power vacuum, power vacuum, pastor.

I thought we were preaching the word.

I'm preaching the word.

This is the word.

I can't think of a better example of failure than our own nation and our own cities and the fact that we're gonna have to hold our Republicans there.

You know, that's why they're gonna get my vote, because they do stand for something better than Democrats do.

But we're gonna have to hold their feet to the fire and we're gonna have to require them You've got to require them to do the right thing, not just slobber on them and call them oh, you're doing a great.

Hey, where's the pushback on ABCD?

Amen, are y'all with me?

Now it's time to push back against this Antichrist spirit.

Let's look at Ephesians, chapter one Our mighty place and privilege in Christ, and it's something that most of us.

If you come to this church or you go to a word of faith church, you hear this type of preaching.

But again, it's time for us not to just hear it, but do it.

Ephesians one, reading in the Amplified verse 22,.

And he has put all things under his feet talking about Jesus.

And where are the feet?

Well, they're in the body, aren't they?

So he has put all things under his feet and has appointed him the universal and supreme head of the church, a headship exercised through the church, which is his body.

So if we're gonna beg God to do a bunch of stuff, we're wasting our time.

He's waiting on the church to exercise the headship of Jesus Christ.

Amen, and this church, this country.

Years and years ago, in the 1600s, when the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, they dedicated this country to the preaching of the gospel.

They made a covenant with Almighty God.

And I'm telling you our founding fathers, who were not white supremacists they might've been white, all right, but they weren't supremacists.

In fact, they had a considerable number of them that were not in favor of slavery.

They tried to get it straightened out early on.

They couldn't get the votes to get it done.

Slavery was a fact in almost all of the known world at that time.

This is the first nation, I think, ever that fought a civil war to get rid of slavery.

And you wouldn't know that by all of the looting and the violence, tearing down statues and all of that.

I'm not invested in those statues, I don't care about those people, they're dead.

But if you think you can erase our history by doing that, you've got another thing coming.

We have to know where we came from.

We have to know the warts and all.

We have to know all the bad stuff.

We have to know that stuff.

But you know what?

We're not that same country.

You know what God gave me?

He gave me the idea of my kids.

I was watching some videos of my grandkids and of course now we've chronicled their babyhood a lot better nowadays because we got video and audio.

I mean it's just amazing to watch baby.

We were confined to things like baby books.

Anybody have a baby book of your children.

Well, we got baby books.

You know you go in there and you see their little hind print and their little foot print and their little scowl.

You know they're just babies.

Oh, he looks just like you.

He looks like a baby.

He doesn't look like anything.

All wrinkled up, red, angry, squinting because of the flat.

You know those old flash bulbs we used to use over Pshh?

You know, you know we're not that same.

And so what was that?

That hardly resembles what we have now.

I mean, that's the way the country was.

It was a baby country.

It's still a very young country.

We're maturing.

We're maturing in our attitudes.

We're maturing in what we believe.

We're maturing in how we work together and how we recognize one another.

Come on.

If you find a better place, move there.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, all of this Hubbub.

No, we need to rule and reign in prayer, but we need to rule and reign at the voting booth.

God has given us this power and we can pray all we want.

Well, let's pray together.

Oh, if you know, let's pray.

Let's pray this Old Testament.

You know Second Corinthians, second Chronicles.

You know, if my people call by my name, see, that's Jewish prayer.

That's not a New Testament, bible prayer.

You pray this prayer.

I mean, why would you pray that prayer?

Humble themselves in prayer.

I will hear from heaven.

No, he already heard from heaven.

He already sent Jesus to do everything necessary.

It's up to the church to rise up and speak up and rule and reign in our domain.

That means ruling over the people we send to Washington and to Austin and to the city hall.

Are you with me now?

Yes, sir, all this praying to God.

Oh God, do something.

He's not gonna do anything.

Oh God, see, I can see these religious.

There's some religious statues falling right now.

Statues to religion are falling right now because people are praying that prayer.

It makes me angry when I see that.

I see everybody that mails me an email.

Oh, let's pray that prayer.

If my people that are called by name shall humble themselves in prayer, I will hear from heaven.

That's Old Testament.

What do you want him to do?

More than he's done?

He sent Jesus.

So when you pray that prayer, you're denying your place and you're denying your authority.

And guess what?

Nothing is gonna happen.

I can't.

I'm gonna tell you.

There's more vain prayers, people going on and on and on begging God.

Hey, we gotta get out of begging God.

We need to start ruling and reigning as kings in life.

Are you with me now?

And so Jesus has head over all things for the benefit of the church.

He has his body.

The church, individually and collectively, should reign or exercise authority over all things as a king.

Would.

Isn't our government supposed to be of the people, by the people, for the people, not over the people?

I mean, they're over the people.

We've got these little you know Hitler's and Hitlerettes Wake up in a new world and say how can I exercise my authority?

I'm gonna exercise some authority.

You're gonna find out the hard way who's in charge.

You're not.

Yours is just gonna last about that long when we're going.

It's gonna last forever.

Amen, if you wanna wear a mask, have at it.

She just couldn't leave it alone.

By the way, the church is exempt from all of that.

She didn't say so, but we're exempt.

Just let you know.

We're not checking anybody at the door, we're not making you wear a mask and we're not paying any fines.

We're not paying any fines, we're passed all day.

You know, covid, that kung-fu is fluticoup.

Well, people are still oh, there's cases.

Well, they're testing and testing, and testing.

I mean that's the reason cases are showing up.

And guess what?

The people that are being tested, oh, you mean, I've got it.

Huh, never even knew it.

It's fully 50% of the population don't even know they had it.

At first they said, oh, but they can pass it on.

Then they said, well, no See, they don't have any proof of anything, they have no science, they make it up.

Let's quit listening to them.

Let's listen to the Word of God.

Let's rule and reign over our health as a king.

The gap between knowing and doing, see, that creates a power vacuum that the devil and demon powers will be so happy to occupy in your life.

They're occupying it in our country.

Many, many people have voted for Democrats over the years, thinking well.

The Democrats are for the working man what a lie.

The Democrats are for the minorities what a lie.

They haven't done a thing.

The Democrats are gonna make my life better.

What do they do?

They raise taxes every chance they get.

Does that make your life better?

Oh well, but they have so much better.

The cities are so much cleaner.

I mean, I don't know, are the cities cleaner?

No, they look like a cesspool.

They've got homeless people using the restroom on the sidewalk in San Francisco, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

It is a travesty what these people do when they're in charge.

Do you want more?

I don't want any more of it.

No, republicans, they've got their problems.

They're not perfect, but I'll tell you what we are gonna rule and reign, amen, amen.

So I just want to warn you.

There's no resistance greater that the devil will bring you.

When you decide and make a decision that you're through just letting life happen, when you decide to occupy that spot as a king, as a priest, you begin to operate in the authority God gave you, which is the name of Jesus and the Word of God and the Holy Ghost.

You begin to limit the devil.

You begin to tell him stop.

You bind his power over yourself and your family and all the churs.

You start doing that and you can expect a stir in the spirit realm.

He's gonna fight you.

He is gonna do what he can do to get you moved back over that line.

He wants you compliant Channel two.

I mean, you know, I'm just about ready to ride them off.

I've watched Channel Two most of my life.

I mean I know all their sport, your cat sport, casters, way back in history.

You know you have maybe some of you Channel 11, maybe some of you Channel 13, channel 26.

But anyway, mine's Channel Two.

But I'm just, I can't even watch them because all they want to talk about is COVID, covid, covid.

How many cases there are.

There's never any context.

I mean, they're never telling you that.

You know that it's really pretty much over.

They just want to give you the raw numbers and they don't give you the percentages.

You know the percentages are less than 1%.

It's negligible.

The threat is negligible, oh, but and they only want to talk about the ones that really had a real bad.

I know that there are some people that have a bad reaction and so forth.

So and then you find out they're 80.

They're 85.

They're 90.

They're old, they've got 13 other things wrong with them, but kids under 10 years old see, they close the schools for absolutely zero reason.

Are y'all figuring this out yet?

I feel like I have to say these things because I don't know.

The drumbeat is so.

I've never in my lifetime seen a drumbeat like this.

And then suddenly, when there's all these riots and everything, it's like insignificant.

You have 60,000 people jammed up on Times Square and nobody's worried about social distancing, nobody's worried about anybody with a mask.

Oh no, no problem.

They got a mask on, but not because of the COVID.

That's the other problem with masks who's a crook and who's a sick person?

Which one?

It's crazy.

Now you're going to have resistance when you begin to reign in a life.

Come on, let's lift our hand.

We're reigning in life as kings.

We are not going to put up with this.

In Jesus name, this government is our government.

It doesn't belong to the anarchists.

I wonder how many of them are illegally here.

We'll never know because they'll never tell us.

And the other point I want to make was we just have to quit begging God to do what Jesus already did?

I guess that was my point about second Chronicles 714.

It's a beautiful prayer for Jesus when they were in the old covenant and they were away from Jerusalem and all that and they were having all this trouble.

But it's not a good New Testament prayer.

New Testament prayer is Ephesians.

That's what we pray around here when we pray for our nation.

We don't pray oh God, oh my God.

No, we don't pray like that.

We take authority.

Blood flows in this place, devil blood.

We step on them till they bleed.

Are you with me now?

We pull out the sword of the spirit and we swing.

Are you with me?

Now?

I have to quit begging God to do what Jesus already did rise up and reign in kings' lives.

So I've got three things here Close the gap between knowledge and action.

Many of us, like I said, you've heard this, but let's be doers, let's actually do it, let's do it to a higher degree.

So here we have two opposite places Quit blaming, start raining.

Quit blaming, start raining.

Everybody say that.

Quit blaming, start raining.

So I got three areas.

Number one quit blaming God.

Every time you say something like well, everything happens for a reason.

You just blamed God, you made this dumb.

Oh, it's one of the dumbest things.

It's when people want to appear spiritual and they're not, and they say that.

Well, you know, brother, everything happens for a reason.

So the implication is God did it and you're never going to know why he did it.

Quit blaming God.

God didn't do the evil.

He didn't send the sickness.

He didn't send the cancer.

He didn't send the riots and the looting.

He's not teaching you a lesson.

He must be a terrible teacher, because have you learned your lesson yet?

Do you think God knows what he's doing when he teaches you?

So if he's teaching you with circumstances, why haven't you learned what he's trying to teach you?

I don't know what God's trying to tell me.

What's the implication?

God is stupid.

God doesn't know how, to how to teach you anything.

See how stupid that is.

Quit blaming God.

Well, god just allowed this to happen because I think he's mad at me.

I remember back, you know, a long time ago, I did this and that, and he's still mad at me.

Well, brother, god has a high and holy purpose for what you're going through.

One in the sweet bind by, you'll understand why God.

Quit blaming God and start raining over the devil and demon powers.

Get mad at the devil.

If you want to get mad.

Get mad at him, bind him.

Why did Jesus say whatever you bind on earth is bound in the heavenlies.

If we're not supposed to do something with that, we are supposed to do something with it.

Put him under your feet, bind him over your health, bind him over your finances, bind him over your circumstance.

The Bible says submit yourself, therefore, to God.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The word flee means flee, as in terror.

Set a blubbering and complaining and whining and blaming God, amen.

Everybody say I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm raining in life, all right.

Number two quit blaming others has victim mentality.

It's learned, you know, especially if you're like you know, when you grow up in a house.

You know, and, and your brother did something and blamed you, you know, and you put up with that time or two and then, and then you did it back to him and you, you know, and your parents punished both of you, just to be safe.

Anybody ever been through that?

See, I didn't have that problem because I was the youngest in the family of four and I could do no wrong.

My mother knew that I was always right, to the dismay of my older brother and sometimes my older sisters.

They were more like junior mothers to me than than they were sisters, but but even so, sometimes I would, I'd get one over on them.

But maybe you grew up that way, maybe you know.

So it's kind of come by it honest.

You know you blame others.

You got the victim mentality.

You know more whining and complaining.

You have a pity party, you know, and then there's jealousy and envy in there too, you know.

In other words, you know, I can't believe Sally got a new dress, you know, and all that kind of thing.

Well it it.

You grow up with that kind of thinking, this victim mentality blame others, you're jealous of others.

You're jealous of other success you're.

You know you're competitive in the wrong way.

Are you with me now?

See, this is you're blaming others.

You have to recognize.

That's why I'm preaching this, because we need to recognize where we are.

No, start raining over your emotions.

Tell, straighten that attitude out.

You have to make that attitude be subject to you.

You are a spirit being.

There's no thought of sin on the inside of you.

Your spirit cannot sin.

What did you just say?

I said your spirit can't sin.

You can't sin, pastor.

Come on.

You see, this is an incomplete idea of who you are.

See, you are equating your flesh and your mind with you.

But no, you are a spirit.

You live in a body.

You have a mind and you can sin in your mind.

You can sin in your body, but you can't.

Your spirit never agreed with it, never.

Otherwise.

You need to get saved, because if your spirit did agree with that and didn't have any problem with it, and your spirit was just comfortable with you, well, I'm just a member of the Christian Bank Robbers Association.

I'm the president.

It's really a great way to make a living.

I've never heard anybody.

In fact, I don't even carry a gun in.

I've learned how to con the teller.

No, you need to get saved, right, but you, as a Christian, you are a spirit being.

So what do you do?

Well, when you have tendencies, when you've got an attitude, when you've got, when you're reading your Bible and you recognize an attitude, you recognize a behavior, you reign over that.

You drive that thing out.

You tell your body a Jesus name.

Line up with the Word of God.

I don't put up with this arthritis in this name.

I'm not putting up with it.

I resist arthritis.

I was going through this.

I was resisting several symptoms in my body.

I had a symptom on my right shoulder which I had fallen on a beach.

I thought I was Lynn Swan one time.

I know he's black and I'm white, but I thought I was Lynn Swan, pittsburgh Steelers, and he, you know, he was the most graceful wide receiver.

That guy is amazing and I thought that's what I was doing.

I was going through this.

I was going through this, I was going through this, I was going through this that guy is amazing and I thought that's who I was.

And so I stretched out and caught a one-handed catch on the beach.

Somebody threw a pass football and I landed right on the shoulder and the next day I moved.

I went to to India with brother Osteen.

That was a lot of fun.

That trip was a whole lot of fun because my shoulder was all messed up and I wanted to carry all the bags, you know, and I did, but it hurt.

And ever since it's been 30 plus years ago and recently, that shoulder flared up and I could hardly move it, you know.

And then simultaneously I banged my elbow on a door jam in the house and that nerve got inflamed down all the way down to my hand and I couldn't even lift a glass of water.

You know how they give you that ice water with a big cold with a glass.

It's heavy and I couldn't lift it with my left hand.

I was like Donald Trump.

I had to use two hands.

You know he went through that last night why he used two hands to protect his silk ties.

See that they were saying he had Parkinson's.

So I but see, I know that this is not, I didn't accept it, I rebuked it.

I rebuked it and you know, and it wasn't moving, this wasn't helping and this wasn't this arm.

And finally, finally, I got in a better eating thing.

I started eating better and I started getting rid of sugar out of my diet, which I've always loved.

Sugar and all the inflammation left my shoulder, all the inflammation left my elbow.

It was all triggered by excess sugar.

I don't mind saying.

My blood work said that I had diabetic levels and I appreciate my doctor.

She said did you know you got diabetes?

No, she didn't say that.

She said has anybody talked to you about your diabetic levels of blood sugar and your A1C and your blood, your glucose, is out of line.

You got to do something with your history.

You've got an open heart surgery two years ago.

You, I said, tell me what to do and I'll do it.

And she gave me this thing to do.

And I'm telling you what I've been in my life for weeks.

I just, I just pull that A1C down, I pull that and in the meantime I feel so much better.

You know, my shoulder is not giving me any trouble.

You know my, my elbows not giving me any trouble.

It was all inflammation from see.

So sometimes there's a natural way to get rid of it.

But don't give up on your authority.

I never would give up on it.

I wouldn't say, oh, I guess God's trying to teach me a lesson.

I'm a willing student.

Speak, lord, I serve in here, and tell me why you gave me arthritis.

Tell me why, see, I know better than that.

Do you know better than that?

Amen, are you getting anything out of this today?

Just tell your flesh, tell your thought life.

Oh, pray for me.

I I've been thinking about suicide.

Wait a minute, you've been thinking about yeah, I said.

Well, are you sure you thought about it?

Cause I thought you were saved.

Are you saved?

Yeah, well, then, you didn't think about suicide.

Your mind thought about it, but you didn't.

Why are you accepting that thought as coming from you?

That thought came from outside.

The devil threw that thought at you and you accepted it as your own.

See, this is another trick the devil has, and he holds many, many Christians in bondage because you'll throw a thought and watch your reaction and you start panicking and thinking oh my God, I'm suicidal, I gotta go to the doctor.

You go to the doctor and tell him you're suicidal.

You're gonna have a hard time getting that off of your medical records.

Yeah, it may hurt you down the road.

It may hurt your employment.

Listen, we have a nanny state.

Now it is it is.

They've got so many things that they're watching and they're monitoring on us.

I, I hate it, but that's where we are, and so let's be careful what we accept in our thought life.

No, drive it out of there, in the name of Jesus.

No, you didn't think that thought.

The devil threw it at you.

Throw it back at him, all right.

So quit blaming God, you know.

Quit blaming others.

The victim mentality and finally, the last one, quit blaming yourself.

And probably of all three, this one is the most common, because a lot of us have rear view mirrors and we're always looking in the rear view mirror.

Well, you know it's good to have a rear view mirror on your car and even a side view mirror because I've got a pickup, so I need both and I look at them and I monitor what's behind me when I'm driving, because it just seems like people drive.

You know, if you're on 249 now that's a free way.

I was driving coming back from Tom Ball the other day.

I looked in my rear view mirror and somebody was coming up on my and I was going 65, I was going, the speed limit had cruise on and they were coming up on me.

They had to be over 100 miles an hour.

They were coming up fast.

I mean lickety split and I'm thinking where are they gonna go?

Are they gonna run up my tailpipe or are they gonna get?

And so I looked to the left and there was room for them to pass me.

They were in my lane and I was in the slow lane.

Why are you driving so fast in the slow lane?

But that's what.

And you've got people getting on the freeway and off the freeway.

You're nuts.

You're nuts for driving that fast anyway.

But then they were.

So I was busy looking in my rear view mirror and side view mirror and checking around me and I hit something.

I didn't see what.

I ran over and it broke a piece of mold and off the side of my truck and it didn't just where it could be repaired I had to replace the piece of molding.

It wound up being a couple of hundred bucks.

The devil stole a couple of hundred and I'm requiring that of him.

You know what I'm saying.

See, that was illegal.

He whipped around me, you know, and then he had to slam his brakes on because he couldn't get past the next wave of traffic.

Well, what am I talking about?

Quit looking in your rear view mirror.

Quit dredging up the past sins.

If you've ever confessed your sin, it's forgiven.

It's under the blood.

The blood works.

Quit digging stuff up.

Quit going to the graveyard and digging your old life up.

It is gone forever.

Don't dig it up.

It's a dishonor to the Father.

This is Father's Day.

We ought to think that he has something better for us and to always walk around with our past life hanging.

It's like the old man that you're carrying this corpse over your shoulder and you're always thinking about and you're saying well, god, god can't bless me because of my past.

No, you don't have a past.

You're a new creature.

All things are passed away.

Behold, all things are become new.

Become new means continually, every second.

Whatever you thought about 10 seconds ago is now gone as far as God's concerned.

So, all the should or would or could of all the regret, all the living in the past, everybody say I'm breaking off my rear view mirror Now.

Quit looking back, quit looking back.

Let's I have a message that's leaving yesterday behind.

I have a whole message.

I'm not preaching that this morning, but I can preach a whole message on leaving yesterday.

Why?

Because I've been pastoring all these years, 26 years, 33 years in the ministry.

I've talked to a lot of people have a hard time in life because they can't get over what happened back there.

Get over it as an act of your dominion, your ruling and reigning as kings in life.

Start reigning over your life today.

You can't do anything about yesterday.

You can start today.

You can start right now.

Well, I should have reigned.

No, don't worry about it.

You recognize it now.

You can start reigning and ruling now, today.

Today is the day of salvation.

Now, praise, god, is the day of deliverance.

Take responsibility to break off the rear view mirror.

Amen, it's a new day.

Reign in your no man.

Let your hands in the sea.
