-
Let's turn to Mark chapter five.
-
I don't really know how many times I've preached out of Mark five, but a whole bunch.
-
And Mark chapter five, a very familiar scripture concerning the woman with the issue of blood In verse 25, we'll pick it up.
-
And this is Jesus and a certain woman which had an issue of blood 12 years and had suffered many things of many physicians and had spent all that she had and was nothing better but rather grew worse.
-
That's about as bleak as it gets right there.
-
And when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind and touched his garment.
-
For she said the Amplified says she kept on saying.
-
She kept on saying.
-
What did she keep on saying, if I may, but touch his clothes, I shall be whole and straightway.
-
The fountain of her blood was dried up and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
-
Everybody said she felt.
-
And Jesus immediately, knowing in himself that virtue or power had gone out of him, turned him about in the press and said who touched my clothes?
-
Everybody say he felt.
-
Everybody say she felt he felt.
-
And his disciples said unto him that see us, the multitude thronging thee, and see us now who touched me.
-
I don't think I ought to talk to Jesus quite that same tone, but he did.
-
Are you nuts?
-
Well, they didn't say that, but it might have well had.
-
And you see the multitude thronging, you say who touched me?
-
And he looked around about to see her that had done this thing.
-
But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him and told him all the truth.
-
And he said unto her daughter my goodness and my wonderful power and my mercy has made thee whole.
-
No, he said, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole.
-
Go in shalom, see, peace is shalom.
-
Health, prosperity and peace.
-
See, what did she say?
-
The whole time she kept on saying what?
-
Oh the blood's gonna dry up.
-
Oh, the blood, the hemorrhaging is gonna stop.
-
Is that what she said?
-
No, she said I shall be whole.
-
I mean her whole life changed Her finances, replenished Everything that was wrong in her body besides the hemorrhaging.
-
You know, the hemorrhaging probably had all kind of other side effects in her body.
-
There's no telling what other diseases she had besides the hemorrhaging.
-
That was a problem.
-
You know she was anemic, but she was made whole.
-
Your faith hath made you whole.
-
Go in shalom and be whole of thy play.
-
Come on, let's just thank God for this great, great testimony that's in the Bible.
-
So we can learn some things and I wanted to talk today.
-
The message is entitled the Switch of Faith, the switch of faith.
-
Faith is the switch that turns on the power of God.
-
Now, some of you've heard this before, but then those of you that have heard it, just let this be water to what you've already got.
-
What you already have is gotta be continually kept in water, doesn't it?
-
Otherwise it'll die.
-
I've seen people get so dried up that truths that they knew in their younger days just disappear.
-
It dies.
-
It gets choked out by the cares of this world.
-
So we need our faith continually fed and so, and for those of you that haven't heard about this type of teaching and preaching, well, it's gonna be fresh seed that's gonna be sown into your heart.
-
So this woman here is in dire straits.
-
She's worse by the day, but she heard.
-
I always wonder what did she hear?
-
Well, you know, she heard about the Jesus that healed some and not others.
-
Well, healing passed away, the last apostle died and all miracles ceased.
-
People still believe that and preach that right now.
-
I know those of us that've been full of gospel for all our life.
-
It's hard to understand that, but I've heard it myself.
-
It's still going strong.
-
That's a lie.
-
No, I mean, jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
-
And so she must have heard about the Jesus that healed them all, that there was nothing too hard for Jesus.
-
She must have heard about him raising Lazarus and the dead.
-
He must have heard about the lepers being cleansed.
-
She must have heard about the blind eyes open and the deaf ears.
-
And she just knew down on.
-
She heard.
-
She heard not just with her big, you know these things, he flaps of skin on either side.
-
She heard down in her spirit, something that set her in such a place where she kept on saying I shall behold.
-
Now, the only if was if I can touch his garment, because she wasn't that confident she could make it to where Jesus was.
-
She just wasn't that confident.
-
She's been bleeding for 12 years.
-
She's been cut on.
-
That's what doctors did back then.
-
They would bleed you.
-
Can you imagine going to the doctor and you're bleeding and they bleed you again and they don't have transfusions?
-
You know, you just have to make some more.
-
Your body has to make more blood.
-
Well, that's kind of a slow process and she never could catch up.
-
But she had to overcome.
-
To get there she had to overcome that physical weakness.
-
She had to overcome her status as a woman, a Jewish woman.
-
You didn't just go travel by yourself.
-
In that culture they didn't like that.
-
Women had to be escorted.
-
They had to have a male with them, either their son or their husband, and she didn't have neither.
-
And then the other thing is she's unclean.
-
According to the law she is hemorrhaging and that makes her unclean.
-
If anybody had seen her and knew her condition let's just say by chance she runs into a neighbor or a doctor or anybody that knew her condition she could have been stoned under the law.
-
So she has three pretty good reasons to say if.
-
Her if was not a doubt.
-
Her if was not a doubt, it was just her own limitations.
-
But she said I touch the hem of his garment, I shall be whole.
-
She kept on saying I shall be whole and then, when she did, she felt, and he felt power.
-
That power, faith is a switch.
-
She turned on the switch of faith.
-
I said she turned on the switch of faith and the power of God flowed from Jesus into her.
-
12 out of the 19, if you count them, you look at the four gospels Matthew, mark, luke and John.
-
There's 19 healing miracles listed there in the gospels.
-
12 out of the 19 mentioned the person's faith.
-
So faith must be pretty important, not only in healing but in anything.
-
The just shall live by their faith.
-
Jesus was always measuring faith.
-
When you look at the gospels you see everywhere he went.
-
He said to the syrophilician woman oh woman, great is thy faith.
-
What did she say?
-
Well, jesus, I don't need a whole lot.
-
Just a crumb falling out of your mouth will heal my daughter.
-
Just give me a crumb.
-
You're not going to miss a crumb, boy.
-
He said man.
-
I haven't.
-
I haven't found that kind of faith.
-
No, he was so impressed and she wasn't even a Jew and her daughter was demonized and she got delivered that same moment.
-
Oh woman, great is thy faith, peter.
-
Oh, you have little faith.
-
The disciples, how is it that you have no faith?
-
See, jesus is always measuring.
-
He's still measuring.
-
He went through the book of Revelation, into the seven churches of Asia Minor, and he measured some things and five out of the seven came up short.
-
Listen, if I have anything to do with it, this church is not going to come up short in any way because I'll answer for it.
-
Kind of selfish that way.
-
No, I care.
-
I care about what happens to you.
-
I'm going to give you everything.
-
I'm going to load your gun with all the ammo you can carry when you come in.
-
I'm glad to be an activist.
-
So, what needs to change in your life?
-
That's a good question to ask yourself.
-
What needs to change in my life?
-
You ought to ask yourself that You're not listening for someone else.
-
You're listening for you.
-
Well, I wish my husband was there.
-
Well, I wish my cousin was there.
-
No, you're listening for you.
-
What needs to change in your life?
-
Is there lack?
-
This woman had lack.
-
She'd spent all her money on doctors.
-
There's a lot of people in that shape today, spent all her money on doctors Too much month at the end of the money.
-
I've been there and it isn't God's will for that to happen ever.
-
God wants you to be blessed.
-
He wants you to have enough and more than enough.
-
Is there chronic pain?
-
Is there chronic sickness in your life?
-
He wants you to be free.
-
He wants you to walk in health.
-
He wants you to be whole.
-
Is there fear, torment?
-
There's such fear and torment right now.
-
It's just in our society.
-
It's out there.
-
It's on the fake news media.
-
They just preach it all the time.
-
I used to call them the news media, but they're not the news media, they're the fake news media.
-
There is no news, there's just nervous narratives.
-
They found out fear sells advertising.
-
People will glue their face to the tube for hours on end to find out about the hurricane or about the car wreck, about the car chase, about whatever fearful thing they can find, and especially COVID.
-
Oh well, let's find out how many more people have died in the last 10 minutes and you find out when you really get all the math done?
-
I mean, did you hear last week you know we've been talking about 180,000 people died.
-
180,000 people to 180,000.
-
Well, no, not really.
-
See, I've been seeing this all along how many of those 180,000 died of something else?
-
Well, the CDC finally let it all out.
-
That's something like 6% of the 180,000 actually died.
-
So 6% of 180,000 is how much?
-
8400 or 84,000?
-
No, 8400.
-
8400.
-
8400 people died of COVID in the entire country and the rest of everybody else died of something with.
-
They had COVID, but they didn't die of that.
-
They died of pneumonia, they died of diabetes, diabetes reactions, all of that.
-
That's what they die heart attack, stroke, you name it.
-
It was other things and they tacked it on to COVID for a while to get everybody afraid.
-
See, I'm outraged at our government.
-
We need to take a hold of our government and shake it like that.
-
They do it on purpose.
-
Folks.
-
Oh, what have we got?
-
We've got this right here.
-
This is what we can rely on.
-
God doesn't lie.
-
He doesn't have any nervous narratives.
-
He's got illustrations like this right here oh, woman, go your way.
-
Your faith has made you whole.
-
Glory to God.
-
Is there strife?
-
Is there division?
-
There's absolutely nothing in the human condition.
-
That can't be changed with your faith, because faith is a switch that turns on God's power and when God's power is applied to your circumstance, that thing changes to your favor.
-
Things are changing Frank Esther's favor.
-
They're changing right now.
-
He came up to the edge of having a massive stroke.
-
People die of massive strokes every day in this country and some people unfortunately don't die, they just exist for many years, totally paralyzed and unable to do for themselves.
-
I've seen that too.
-
That's even worse than death if you're a saved person.
-
But you know, he came up to that and because of their faith being so active and sitting under this word, I mean it was like they held out a hand and said this far and no further, you can't come any further.
-
We're getting rid of this blame.
-
We're going to fix this brain bleed right now.
-
See, that's what your faith.
-
See, faith doesn't just exolve you of any trouble, it will deliver you out of the trouble.
-
What are you facing?
-
What are your circumstances?
-
Is there a addiction?
-
I had a man he's in heaven now but he came to the church for a number of years and he had been born with a disease.
-
You know he and his twin brother were born with this terrible disease like multiple sclerosis and atrophy of muscles and so forth, and back in the 80s he was in such pain and everything.
-
The doctors prescribed this synthetic opiates.
-
Oh yeah, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
-
You take these synthetic opiates and they're not addictive, just take them and they just they.
-
Just giving them to him like candy, he got addicted.
-
They didn't know, they didn't know.
-
Now we know.
-
We look back 20 years.
-
Now we know.
-
Oh my good, 30 years.
-
We look back.
-
Oh, that's why our nation has got we've got a bunch of addicts.
-
Some of them were right in the church.
-
Are you addicted to paingillers?
-
A lot of people are.
-
It's a secret people are ashamed of.
-
You.
-
Don't have to be ashamed.
-
Let's get you delivered.
-
Your faith can make you whole Glory to God.
-
Thank you, jesus.
-
Bondage, I'll tell you.
-
The answer is the Word of God.
-
Now, this miracle is in the Old Testament.
-
What do you mean?
-
It's in the new.
-
Yeah, I know, but it was under the Old Testament because Jesus hadn't died on the cross yet.
-
Hey man, the Holy Ghost had not yet been given.
-
On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Ghost came right.
-
And so today the Holy Ghost is everywhere present, he's everywhere.
-
He's not just in here, he's not just in here, he's at full play, everywhere.
-
He is in here.
-
If you're a Christian, he's in here, because corporately he's in here, but he's everywhere else.
-
He's everywhere present.
-
So you don't have to go, you know to, on a pilgrimage, you don't have to go to some Hegler or guru or crusade to get results.
-
You can get results.
-
Your faith can turn on God's power right where you are.
-
That's what we teach around here, so that you don't feel dependent on any one person.
-
You're not dependent on anyone except Him and His Word.
-
Amen.
-
But she had to get to where God, where the Holy Ghost was, and he was with Jesus.
-
He was on Jesus.
-
You know.
-
He said to his own hometown on Luke 4, 18, the Spirit of the Lord is appalling me because he's anointed me to preach to five groups of people the poor or the broke, the brokenhearted, the bound, the blind and the bruised.
-
Five groups of people.
-
So if you're broke, you don't have to be.
-
What's the good news to the broke?
-
You don't have to be broke, no more.
-
That's the good news.
-
We have good news for all those people.
-
Good news for people that are sick, they can be healed.
-
So just flip on the switch of faith and let the power of God change your circumstance.
-
So we've got here in this wonderful testimony.
-
I'm so glad it's in the Bible, because these testimonies are here for us to know how to operate according to God's laws.
-
You know God's laws.
-
God has a law, in fact one of the law.
-
The law of faith is according to your faith, be it under you, not according to my faith.
-
Be it under you, not according to sister bucket mouse faiths.
-
Faith, be it under you.
-
I mean, when you're getting started you need somebody that knows the ropes better than you.
-
And sometimes you know you get somebody come alongside you and help you get your victory about something you might.
-
They might pray for you.
-
Ask them to pray for you and they pray for you and you get your victory.
-
And once that happened one time now God expects you to walk.
-
Now he expects you to move out and at least maybe the next time, get someone to agree with you and then eventually you get self.
-
Sufficient.
-
You're not running and calling the prayer line every time something goes haywire.
-
You know how to get a hold of faith.
-
You know how to turn on the switch of faith for yourself.
-
That's what every believer ought to know.
-
That way you can help other people.
-
Are you with me now?
-
So there's four things today that are in this gospel testimony about the woman with the issue of blood, and I'll just put it very simply.
-
And the four steps that she took to cooperate with the law of faith was say it, do it, receive it and tell it.
-
Now let's all say that together.
-
Say it, do it, receive it and tell it.
-
They tell and say are two different things.
-
We'll talk about what the difference is, all right.
-
So the first one is say it, turn on the switch of your words.
-
Your word needs to agree with the word of God.
-
Don't talk sickness.
-
Don't talk pain.
-
Don't talk lack.
-
Don't talk death.
-
Don't talk that way.
-
Talk the word.
-
Talk what God's already done.
-
Train your mouth.
-
See our mouth.
-
I mean oh, it just kills me to see that.
-
See, you got to stop that death.
-
Talk.
-
Well, I don't mean it.
-
Well, quit saying it.
-
If you don't mean it, don't say it.
-
Your angels can't tell the difference.
-
I'm not going to hit you with their sword.
-
No, they won't do that.
-
Forget that point.
-
No, she kept on saying See, start agreeing with words.
-
Start agreeing, see, that's the first step in turning on the switches Agreeing with the word, agree with what the word says.
-
That means you've got to find what the word says.
-
And so, in Romans 10, 9 and 10 says it talks about believing in your heart and saying it with your mouth.
-
That's how we all got saved we believed in our heart and we confessed Jesus is Lord and we were saved.
-
It's the same thing that we can do Any time that we want something to change.
-
We have to believe in our heart.
-
Well, we can't just believe anything.
-
You have to believe what the word says about your situation.
-
So believe and start speaking.
-
See John 647,.
-
Jesus said he that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
-
So he that believes has.
-
When you have real Bible faith, you have it.
-
You have what you're talking about.
-
It might not have shown up yet, but it's yours.
-
It's the same thing.
-
So what have you been saying about your condition?
-
Have you been magnifying the condition?
-
Have you been talking and telling everybody about your condition, about your woe, about your trouble and all of that?
-
On and on and on and on?
-
Oh, let's talk life.
-
Let's hear what he that believeth has.
-
Everything is having.
-
What have you been saying?
-
These are questions you need to ask yourself.
-
All right, and then the second thing is that we need to do it.
-
See she talking about the woman, of the issue of blood.
-
It wasn't enough for her just to talk, right, because in that dispensation the Holy Ghost is not yet given.
-
She had to get into Jesus proximity, she had to get to where he was.
-
Are you with me now, this Old Testament?
-
So she had to decide.
-
When she heard of Jesus and if I can just touch the image garment, I shall be whole.
-
So what did she have to do next?
-
She said the right thing.
-
What did she do?
-
That it was.
-
She just got in her rocking chair, rocked on the front porch, and she would have went to heaven.
-
Eventually, real long and slow death.
-
We don't know whether she'd have bled to death or starved to death.
-
One of the two would have happened.
-
She's run out of money, didn't she?
-
I, I Mean something's bad.
-
It's not gonna be easy dying.
-
What did she have to do?
-
She had to do, she had to do something.
-
She had to go where Jesus was.
-
She had to overcome what we talked about, the obstacles, and she came and she overcame.
-
She another word.
-
She acted on what she heard, and she acted on what she said.
-
She had heard Jesus as a healer.
-
She said if I can just touch his garment, I shall be whole.
-
She acted on what she said.
-
So then I've got to go to him and touch his garment.
-
And she did it, didn't she?
-
She got there, here's, the crowd all jammed up, and so what did she do?
-
She got on all fours and she, she might have even crawled on her belly.
-
She might have just crawled like a snake all the way through all those people's feet Until she rock got to the right garment Garnt.
-
Jesus was a rabbi.
-
He had a special garment.
-
It was.
-
It was.
-
The bottom of it was blue, which stands for healing.
-
The Jews had healing in their covenant.
-
We have a better covenant found upon better promises.
-
If the Jews had healing and they, they let it slip, didn't they?
-
I Said they let it slip.
-
Jesus had to reintroduce healing to the Jews and they had let it slip over the eons of time.
-
You know the modern church in America has let healing slip, or we wouldn't be so afraid of this stupid virus.
-
Oh, which flu season.
-
If you got your flu shot.
-
Do you have you anytime you go?
-
Let's just say you go to the pharmacy and every time you walk in the pharmacy, if you go to get a Drug refill, they're gonna ask you a question have you got your flu shot yet?
-
Have you got your flu?
-
Go to the doctor for check.
-
Have you got your flu shot?
-
Why are they doing that?
-
Obama care, obama care, they passed a law.
-
They want everybody to get a shot and trust that that shot is gonna take care of it.
-
They want either conditioning people to look to the government to help them we have we've just legislated God out of our hole.
-
I mean, god is our.
-
Jesus is the healer.
-
I'm not against flu shots, but I don't.
-
23% or something, and sometime, when you get it, you get the flu.
-
I don't want to get the flu, forget it.
-
I'll take the word.
-
I'll take the word as medicine.
-
I know that if you want to have one, fine, I don't.
-
I'm not preaching against the shot, I'm just saying let's have the right attitude.
-
So she so faith.
-
She acted on what she heard.
-
So the simple definition of what faith is faith is acting on the word, or another definition that I like even better faith is acting like.
-
The Bible is true.
-
So you can't just say it, you've got to act it, you've got to do you.
-
What words are the initial action when you believe the?
-
The initial action is what you say, but then there's another, another action.
-
You know James 2, 20 and the way myth says faith without corresponding action is dead, being alone.
-
You have to have.
-
If you have faith, then you've got to have a corresponding action.
-
A good prayer to pray when you're believing God for something is to say well, lord, this is what I believe.
-
I believe I have it right now.
-
Thank you for it.
-
Now, father, how do I, how do I demonstrate I have faith?
-
How?
-
What further?
-
What further things do I need to do?
-
And and so over the years?
-
I mean, you know, like, if you're sick, get up.
-
Sick people don't go to bed and stay there.
-
Well, I don't feel like it.
-
Well, resist it when you get up and make yourself move.
-
You're basically saying, by your actions I am healed and I don't care how I feel.
-
I'm going to walk around here.
-
Now, when you get so weak, you have to go back to bed.
-
Fine, but get up at least.
-
I mean that's part of you resisting the symptoms.
-
Well, I'm broke, I'm believing God, but I don't have any money.
-
And I've got a big bill.
-
Well, so something, so a scene.
-
Well, I don't have any money, you don't have any money.
-
I mean, I, you know, I was, I was in dire, I was I'd lost my job, I got laid off and we had gotten down to 35 dollars in our bank account.
-
I can't even, I don't even understand how we still had a bank account and so I was believing for $25,000 to get back in the home building business.
-
And so I'd gone through this whole thing and I arrived at this figure and I said, god, I need 25,000.
-
I just I say, in jesus name, I believe I received that and I thought, well, I got 35 dollars in the bank, how much can I sew?
-
And all of a sudden I thought about the moses prayer lord, make you a thousand times more fruitful than before.
-
He preached that over over israel.
-
The lord, make you a thousand times, multiply you a thousand.
-
That's what I need.
-
I need a thousand over return.
-
A hundred fold isn't enough.
-
So glad us.
-
We wrote a 25 dollar check and took it to lakewood on wednesday night.
-
How much money did that leave me in my bank account $10.
-
How?
-
How do you even have a bank account with a $10 balance?
-
In?
-
30 days later I had $100,000 and we started our business.
-
30 days later I said 30 days later, see what did I do?
-
I, we, acted on our faith.
-
We sew to see.
-
So if you need a financial miracle, sew a seed.
-
Well, I don't feel led.
-
Well, you don't feel led to have a breakthrough.
-
Amen.
-
I'm talking about.
-
Your faith has actions that you have to have a go.
-
Go along with it, Amen.
-
Well, I've been believing to get rid of cigarettes.
-
We'll throw them away.
-
Well, I'm just going to keep five in my pocket here.
-
Cecil Dorsey's a good friend of ours.
-
He's in heaven now, but I'll never forget his testimony.
-
He was, it was saved and he wanted to get delivered to cigarettes they're laughing because they've heard his testimony and uh, he.
-
He said you know, I took my cigarettes and I had this board.
-
And he said I started nailing my cigarettes to this board in the shape of a cross and by the time I got, I went top to bottom, left to right.
-
By the time I nailed the last one in, I was delivered of cigarettes.
-
So I don't know if you have to go to that much trouble.
-
But anyway, praise God, that's Cecil.
-
Cecil is crazy, anyway.
-
So Sorry, cecil, I love you.
-
So, uh, are you getting anything out of this?
-
All right, say it, do it.
-
The next one is receive it.
-
Receive it.
-
Turn the switch of receiving on.
-
Say Jesus felt the power go out of him, she felt.
-
Now, it's not about feeling, it's not about goosebumps, it's about counting something done at a certain point.
-
That's why we lay hands on people.
-
Whether you feel anything or not, power has been released through the, the laws of contact and transmission.
-
And whether you feel the power or not, sometimes you do, sometimes you don't.
-
In all the years that I've laid hands on people Some there have been times when I absolutely felt the power, god, go out of my hands, into someone.
-
I've I've I've laid hands on some people where it came back and hit me like a, Like a recoil.
-
They didn't receive it, but most of the time I don't feel anything and I don't try to feel anything.
-
I don't have to feel anything.
-
It is a point of contact where I release my faith, and right then is when I say I believe I receive See Mark 11, 24, what things so ever you desire.
-
Jesus said this what things so ever you desire, when you pray or when you say it works, either praying or saying it.
-
Believe you receive them and you shall have them.
-
So, receiving precedes having.
-
When do you believe you receive?
-
When you have it, well, no, you don't need to believe it, then it's there.
-
When something shows up, you don't need any faith, it's there.
-
What do you need in between?
-
You need to believe you receive.
-
At a point of time, at a point of contact, she completed the circuit and she grabbed the hem of his garment.
-
She completed what she said.
-
She knew she had been saying all the way, I shall behold.
-
So then she counted it done.
-
Now she did feel the power.
-
This again is Old Testament.
-
But when you leave your time of prayer, whether it's a time of prayer or a time of confession, where you're confessing the Word, whatever it is you believe you receive.
-
See, we believe that Frank was healed yesterday afternoon when we all agreed in prayer yesterday.
-
We didn't pray for him this morning to get healed because we'd already done we didn't even pray then.
-
We just agreed he was.
-
Why pray for something that's already done?
-
Healing's already been done, right, we're just agreeing with them for it To have it and you shall have it.
-
Amen, so praise.
-
So what will you do when you receive your praise?
-
You ought to praise God.
-
Praise is your faith in action.
-
That's when you know that you have it before it ever shows up.
-
It's yours.
-
You just rejoice, praise God.
-
You might not feel like you're not feel like happy, you may not feel anything, but you just thank God.
-
I believe I receive.
-
I shall have Hallelujah, I've got it, it's mine.
-
So the illustration I like to use, being a ex-home builder, is you know if you've ever bought a house, how many have ever bought a house?
-
A lot of you have.
-
And how many of you want to buy a house, but you're renting right now, but you'd like to buy.
-
How won't you raise your hand Now, lord?
-
You see those hands raised and they want to buy a house.
-
So, lord, open the door right now.
-
Come on, now.
-
You all receive.
-
This is by the Holy Ghost.
-
I wasn't planning on this, father.
-
I just stretch out my rod over all of these folks that have their hands raised.
-
They desire to be homeowners and not renters.
-
And, father, we thank you right now.
-
Father, we thank you for the doors opening that you never thought would open.
-
Father, right now, in Jesus' name, right now, in Jesus' name, every one of these hands is raised, hallelujah.
-
Come on, let's praise God for that.
-
Now see, that was a word.
-
You got a word about something now.
-
Now you go to God with that word.
-
Pastor said that and I believe that I receive that and he wants you successful.
-
But anyway, when you buy a house, the way it goes is you go by, you've got a realtor, probably nowadays, and your agent.
-
They show you the house and they tell you the list price of the house and, depending on the market I don't really know what the market is right now, but sometimes you'll make an offer.
-
So you sit down, you write a contract and they'll get an earnest money check from you, made out to the title company, and that all goes to the listing agent.
-
The seller of the house has got an agent.
-
That's usually the sign in the yard of that agent and so then she'll get the offer and there's an earnest money contract there, there's an earnest money check there, a copy of it, and that lets the seller know that you're serious, that you're in earnest and that you have been pre-approved for the loan.
-
So there's no problem.
-
You're going to be approved for the loan and so this person could go ahead and take the house and take it off of the market and put a soul sign out there, and it takes, you know, 45, and right now it takes even longer.
-
It takes like 90 days to get closed now because of all the backlog and whatever.
-
So they've got to really know you're going to buy the house.
-
They don't want to take it off the market and then have it fall through.
-
So you've got to kind of sell yourself and your agent that's what she's there or he's there for is to sell the deal.
-
And so their agent is to look at the deal and I think you ought to take it.
-
I don't think you ought to counter, I think you ought to take it.
-
So then the deal goes through, they take it, they take it off the market.
-
It's got a soul sign on it.
-
And so you call your relatives, you call your mother, your father, your kids or whatever.
-
Oh, we just bought a house.
-
Oh, come by and you drive by it.
-
Look at our house, isn't it beautiful as a perfect?
-
Oh, have you bought it?
-
No, do you own it?
-
No, it's not yours, it's theirs, it's theirs until you actually go to closing.
-
But you don't think that way.
-
You call it your house, don't you?
-
Don't you get it happy?
-
Oh, that's my house.
-
Look at my house, isn't it beautiful?
-
Oh, glory to God.
-
I can tell some of you have never bought a house.
-
I don't know, maybe you bought one of those ugly houses.
-
You get happy when you sell one of the ugly houses.
-
Are you getting anything out of this?
-
No, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not.
-
Are you getting anything out of this?
-
So bottom line is you have the earnest of your inheritance.
-
Who is the Holy Ghost living on the inside of you.
-
He is the surety of your covenant.
-
He has guaranteed that when you speak in faith, you shall have Come on.
-
Let's rejoice right now.
-
Hallelujah, whoo.
-
Everybody say I believe, I receive.
-
That's why I'm praising God, hallelujah.
-
Thank you, lord Whoo.
-
You get so happy.
-
You haven't got anything but a piece of paper.
-
That's, all you got is a piece of paper.
-
But you're so happy.
-
You would think that you had the Taj Mahal.
-
But all you really have right at that point is a piece of paper.
-
See, it's not that foreign to our normal way of doing things, is it?
-
That's right.
-
But we see, god's word is it goes according to certain laws, and these four things are part of this law of faith that we need to check some of these.
-
Well, it sounds so mechanical.
-
Well, that may be why you're in the shape you're in, because you haven't taken the time to find out how the law works.
-
Quit going against the word and start cooperating with how God.
-
Jesus put this in here for a reason.
-
Yes, when Brother Hagin preaches this, he says how to write your own ticket with God.
-
He preaches the same message.
-
I don't know how many hundred times I heard him preach it.
-
That's why I'm preaching it to you.
-
You mean you're preaching his message.
-
Of course, I preach everything.
-
Brother Osteen, brother Hagin, norval Hayes None of you, most of you, don't.
-
How many have never, ever heard of Norval Hayes?
-
Just go ahead and admit it Norval Hayes, you've never heard of it.
-
Oh, you need to get acquainted with him.
-
And I was his favorite driver.
-
He never came to Houston without asking for me to drive him all over town, all right.
-
So I never got lost, all right.
-
The last one is tell it, say, what did she do After she received?
-
And she felt power.
-
He felt power and he said who touched me?
-
And it says here but the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him and told him 20% of everything that had happened.
-
Told him all the truth.
-
She started at the top of her condition.
-
She told him what all she had suffered 12 years, had spent all her money.
-
Never you know never was better, rather grew worse.
-
She told him the whole thing, but then I said I heard about you.
-
I heard about you and I said I shall be whole.
-
All I've got to do is get there and touch this garment.
-
And that's what I did.
-
And when I did, I felt power come into me and I know I'm healed of this plague, hallelujah.
-
What did she do?
-
She testified, not just to him but to every one of that crowd that was thronging him.
-
They all heard her testimony.
-
Well, was it documented?
-
No, it wasn't documented.
-
Do you think she'd go back to one of those saw bones and get him to even look at her after that?
-
We don't always have to have a documented healing.
-
Sometimes it's nice if you can go back to doctor and the doctor can certify yes, and you were like Rick, rick, rick, and go back to his doctor, javiz.
-
I mean, he here, he had a test and he had gone.
-
Was it a stress test?
-
You do a stress test?
-
Yeah, a stress test.
-
I've had a few of those.
-
I'm stressed all the time and and I pass up the stress, I just pass it up.
-
But he had a stress test and they said, yeah, you got a blockage here, we're gonna confirm that, we're gonna run this, and you a plastic, put the wire up and goes into your coronary arteries and they take and takes a picture.
-
You got the thing up on the screen.
-
He probably was out and probably wasn't even really.
-
You know, he was hazy at that time.
-
The last time I had one of those, I was awake and I did see the whole thing up there on the screen.
-
I didn't know what it meant, but anyway, so they go up there and what they can do is the test confirms You've got a blockage right where it is and then, with the same equipment, they can put the stint in with that equipment.
-
See, it's just, it's just a seamless procedure and and so when they, they probably had a stint there, or maybe two stints, ready to take care of his blockage.
-
Except when they went in there.
-
His blockage wasn't there because in between the stress test and that test he stood down here and had hands laid on him and he told the doctors who I don't need a stint, I've been prayed for I had.
-
I had hands laid on me.
-
The doctors Well, I want to go to that chair.
-
I mean, the doctors were man, they were scratching their head.
-
They're gonna hour time collecting from the insurance company.
-
They're gonna think what in the world?
-
This is an unnecessary test.
-
Why are you charging us $15,000 for the angioplasty?
-
When he didn't have a blockage?
-
I want enough.
-
Yeah, that's how they are the money game.
-
Amen, but he's ill.
-
Go already, god.
-
He didn't have to have, he didn't have to have that stint and he never will have to have that stint.
-
He just opened up in there.
-
He's open.
-
He's open.
-
He's open up in there.
-
He's open every coronary or is open, in the name of Jesus.
-
Yeah, well, some of your happy, some of your sad, but anyway.
-
So she testified, she told him of the truth.
-
I mean, people need to hear what God has done for you.
-
And you know, I think about the woman that had a gore.
-
She went to one of brother Smith Wigglesworth meetings and he was a mighty faith preacher I've talked about him before and and she went to one of his meetings and she came up in the healing line and she just believed she received.
-
You know, oh, thank you Lord, I'm so grateful.
-
And so the next day is testimony time.
-
Well, this lady stands up and she testifies.
-
I was at meeting last night and last night, I believe, I received my healing, and here she's got this gore.
-
It looks like she's got a little bit of a headache.
-
I received my healing and here she's got this gore.
-
It looks like this gigantic cantaloupe hanging underneath her throat and it's still there.
-
It hadn't, in fact, if anything, had gotten bigger.
-
And here she is testifying that she's been healed and everybody's looking at her like you're nuts, lady.
-
See, they didn't get the concept, but she was doing that for her.
-
She was willing to testify, she was willing to be a fool for jesus.
-
She didn't care what people thought she felt and she wanted to testify.
-
It was so real to her.
-
It was so real to her that she wasn't even paying any attention to this big old thing hanging under there.
-
And so the next year she comes back and she gets up and testifies again.
-
And, uh, they look at her like you goof, you still have that thing.
-
It's been a year and you still have it.
-
What in the world?
-
You didn't get anything.
-
But she is praise and god, she's just so genuine.
-
So the third year, somebody comes up to her and pops her bubble.
-
Uh, sister, don't you really have you looked in the mirror?
-
You kid, this is the third year you've testified.
-
And look at you, look at, have you looked in the mirror?
-
It's still there.
-
Why are you testifying?
-
So she went to her room.
-
It was kind of deflating, that's kind of ugly to do that somebody.
-
I mean, you don't know what they're going through.
-
I mean she's, she's been prayed for, she had hands laid on her, she, she believed she received, that's what she did and she's, basically, why can't you agree?
-
See, I think a lot of the lack, lack of agreement, and people Criticized her might have held her up.
-
Be honest with you, anyway.
-
So she, she goes back to her room.
-
So sweetly, she said, looked in the mirror.
-
She said you know, father, I don't need anything.
-
I know I'm healed, but would you do something for these other people?
-
They stay down.
-
Would you do something for these other people?
-
They just don't have what I have.
-
I, I'm just perfectly content.
-
I know I'm healed, I'm not looking at anything, but they are.
-
They're looking at it and they're saying I'm not here.
-
Would you, would you please just do something for them so they'll know?
-
And I mean that thing.
-
Just it just left her and all the rest.
-
Those people had egg on their face.
-
Come on, let's lift our hands.
-
Praise god.
-
We have a testimony.
-
We don't care what people say or do or think.
-
Ours is to testify.
-
I cannot but testify what god has done.
-
He's been so faithful to me.
-
It just keeps getting better and better and it just keeps on getting better and it just keeps on getting better and better.
-
It just keeps on and it keeps on All year by year.
-
Oh, better and better and better.
-
Hallelujah.
-
I can't help but testify.
-
Deal with it, turn on the switch of faith and see god change your circumstances.
-
Did you get anything out of that today?
-
Well, I thoroughly enjoy it.
-
Praise god.
