Lift up your Bibles, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.
-
Say.
-
Heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here tonight, the ending of Rosh Hashanah, and, lord, I celebrate your prophetic timing.
-
In my life, everything has a time and a season and I'm in the season of victory.
-
Because of the Word of God and the Holy Ghost, I open my eyes and ears tonight spiritual eyes, spiritual ears to receive what the Spirit is saying to me, so that I can succeed.
-
You made me to be a success in Jesus' name, amen.
-
Let's look at Deuteronomy 11 again.
-
I preached a whole bunch on this when God gave us that Word, to get it into your heart, to get your faith built up.
-
And let's just kind of skim over some things tonight, because I don't believe God's finished.
-
Deuteronomy 11, verse 10.
-
For the land with the valgoist in to possess it is not as the land of Egypt from whence you came out, where you sowed your seed, you watered it with the foot as a garden of herbs, but the land wither you go to possess it is a land of hills and valleys and drinketh water of the reign of heaven.
-
It drinks the water.
-
You know the land drinks the water in, and a land which the Lord, thy God, careth for.
-
He seeks, and my margin says he seeks.
-
And when you expand it, he observes.
-
He's watching it all the time.
-
He's watching that which he has provided for you, that which he has set aside for you.
-
The land stands for your inheritance.
-
It is not a type of heaven.
-
Some of these old songs, you know that people sing about Bula land and you know and so forth.
-
They're beautiful songs, but really it's not heaven.
-
That's not the.
-
The promised land is not heaven.
-
It's the type of what we possess through the baptism of the Holy Ghost, a power of God, where we're able to claim what belongs to us, that Jesus bought and paid for.
-
And so that land God cares for.
-
The eyes of the Lord are always upon it, from the, from the head of the year, beginning of the year, rosh Hashanah, to the end of the year.
-
And so let me ask you, if his eyes are upon it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year, what happens to the beginning of the next year?
-
Well, his eyes are still on it.
-
I mean, it didn't end.
-
I said it didn't end.
-
They just, the year, clicked over, one more click, you know, and, and.
-
But they didn't end.
-
He just he's, he's watching it all the time.
-
In other words, time isn't up on that word.
-
I said the time isn't up on that word.
-
Oh well, I didn't have.
-
I didn't get what I was looking for, god, I missed.
-
No, you haven't missed a thing.
-
Just continue, let's just just continue, just continue.
-
And so, and then in verse 23, then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you and you shall possess greater nations in mightier than yourselves.
-
The enemy in the natural is greater and mightier than you are except God and your faith in God.
-
And then that's the.
-
That's the difference.
-
All right.
-
And then in Deuteronomy nine just a couple of pages over here, verse one hero is real about art and pass over Jordan this day to go into possessed nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fenced up to heaven.
-
Now notice, I want you to see what he's saying.
-
He's repeating exactly what the unbelieving spies said.
-
Did they really go up to heaven?
-
No, it was an exaggeration, see.
-
And so Moses is using the same language of unbelief and saying you're going to go in and possess those cities that were walled up to heaven.
-
I love the way the Holy Ghost has a way of rubbing your nose in something.
-
Of course they were.
-
The children see, they're innocent.
-
So he's using the same language.
-
So he says you're going to go in, you're going to pass over to God, you're going to possess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, people great and tall, the children of the Anachemes, anachemes, anachemes, whatever they call, and of whom thou knowest and of whom thou hast heard say who could stand before the children of Anach.
-
Understand, therefore, this day, that the Lord, thy God, is he which goeth over before thee as a consuming fire.
-
He shall destroy them and he shall bring them down before thy face.
-
So shall thou drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord said unto thee.
-
Praise God.
-
In other words, the Holy Ghost is not intimidated by your enemies, neither should you.
-
The greater one lives on the inside, and so you know.
-
God spoke to us a year ago, during the Rosh Hashanah, the head of the gear for us to possess.
-
By dispossessing, we're going to kick out the Satanic squatters, the poachers, the trespassers.
-
So you know, that's what you had in the Promised Land.
-
You had the Jebusites, the High Vites, the Blood Lights and everybody else.
-
All the Ikes were there occupying and they were the inhabitants of the land, but God had.
-
They had filled up a cup and God had judged them and removed them from the scene, essentially, and gave their land to Israel.
-
Similar thing happened in America.
-
We hear all this stuff about Native Americans and how they were here.
-
Well, god knew they were here.
-
They gave this land to us.
-
They worshiped devils, they worshiped false gods and they did not honor the God of creation.
-
They were what they were and we.
-
It doesn't mean we treated them right.
-
We didn't.
-
Our history is not very good with that.
-
There's a blot on our history, the same way of slavery, but look at the progress, look at what we've done to correct things.
-
It's not like that.
-
We left it that way but in the end we were right to take this entire country because God gave it to us.
-
Are you with me now?
-
And so you know I saw skipping levels.
-
I saw people.
-
You know they came from a dream I had.
-
God began to renew that dream.
-
I remember the dream where I went into the big building downtown and got on the elevator and we're on the first floor right, and I said and another guy gets on the elevator.
-
What floor?
-
Oh, I'm going to the second.
-
Me too.
-
We pushed the second floor and we went up like 3,000.
-
I mean, we just kept going.
-
It was high speed at a.
-
And on the second floor, we get out and I'm scared.
-
I'm looking straight down.
-
You know, remember that we skipped a bunch of levels in that dream and some of us you know this church skipped some levels this year.
-
And well, that hasn't happened to me.
-
Well, don't give up yet.
-
You haven't kicked out all the enemies.
-
And God's giving you another space of time.
-
I said God's giving you another space of time, I believe because of this horrible COVID thing, where the government shut everything down and did all this stuff, this evil, and mayors and county judges usurped their authority and all of the northern and western states governors and allowed writing and all kinds of terrible things.
-
It was all political, it was all to make Trump look bad and lose the election, and I believe that they suppressed and depressed.
-
I believe that they did that.
-
And remember when we had back to school, when we prayed over back to school, I had a word God's going to restore what has been stolen.
-
God is going to have you, have you blessed more Well, I believe that applies to all of us.
-
I believe God is going to turn the clock back.
-
Amen, I believe God's going to turn the clock back.
-
What in the world are you talking about?
-
We're looking at Joshua.
-
I've got it down here, joshua 10.
-
Are y'all following me?
-
There's been a lot of discussion.
-
Well, the anniversary of the date is just.
-
God don't care about an anniversary.
-
God's not even living in time.
-
God lives in eternity.
-
So, joshua, chapter 10, they're having some battles here.
Joshua 10 chapter mention
-
Verse 12,.
-
Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel.
-
That's when God threw hail stones down from heaven and killed more of the Amorites than did the soul than the Israelites.
-
God was helping them in the battle and he said, in the sight of Israel, son, stand thou still upon Gideon and thou moon in the valley of Agilon.
-
And the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.
-
It's not this written in the book of Jasher.
-
So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
-
Glory to God.
-
Don't tell me God can't reset the clock.
-
He reset my clock.
-
That's what he told me when I after got through the heart surgery.
-
You know, when I was recovering from heart surgery, god said I've reset your clock, praise God.
-
I mean I felt really old, I mean I felt really weak.
-
And he said I just reset your clock.
-
Well, you know, I don't feel so old and so weak right now.
-
Praise God, he reset my clock.
-
I tell you, god can do supernatural things.
-
We're not through kicking out the squatters.
-
I mean we're on the offense and I so skipping levels.
-
And I believe you know, when you say skip levels, what does that exactly mean?
-
It just means multiplication.
-
It means a culminating.
-
This was a culmination year.
-
This was a year of stuff that we had planted back numbers of years ago and God rewarding us for faithfulness in the past and now how the kingdom operates seed time and harvest.
-
There's got to come a day of harvest.
-
It's like a man that plants a seed and he sleeps and rises night and day, and the sleep seeds and spring up.
-
He know, if not, how.
-
First the blade in the ear than the full corn in the ear, and after the corn is ripe, then he put it in the sickle.
-
We were able to put in the sickle this year on some things.
-
And that doesn't mean it's all over.
-
It just means that now we planted some more and there's going to have another crop coming up.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So don't be discouraged if you haven't seen all of the things you were believing for occur.
-
It's not over.
-
And then God gave us these three words you know Isaiah 55, you know God's ways are higher than our ways, his thoughts and our thoughts.
-
But God can communicate his thoughts and his ways to us.
-
We're not limited.
-
It's just that we have to have God's perspective.
-
He gave us that word perspective.
-
So, for instance, perspective.
-
What about the perspective of the 10 spies?
-
See, they went into the promised land.
-
They liked it.
-
They said, man, it's just like you said, it's a land of hills and valleys.
-
Here's the fruit of it Wow, wow, wow, wow.
-
But there's always a but with fear.
-
They're giants in the land and their perspective was they're like we're like grasshoppers in their sight and we're like grasshoppers in our own sight.
-
See, their perspective was totally wrong.
-
They had the wrong perspective, so they were not able.
-
And then they turned the entire children of Israel and they all cried all that night, because they believed the 10 spies.
-
See because?
-
Why?
-
Because natural human beings are programmed negatively.
-
They're not born again, they have not, their minds are not renewed in the Word of God, they're negative.
-
And they just grabbed the hold of that negative report.
-
And, of course, only positive reports were Joshua and Caleb.
-
Joshua said come on, let's go up at once.
-
If God would be farce, we can take this, we can take this land.
-
God's got our back.
-
Come on, they're bred for us.
-
Let's go now, let's go right this minute.
-
And you know what the dummies did.
-
Then they cried all night long and then they tried to go the next day, after God had already killed the 10 leaders.
-
They died in a plague.
-
Now to who much is given, much is required.
-
You're honored to go over there and see all of this and you're supposed to be a witness, and you come back with a bad report.
-
He couldn't afford to have them around.
-
Why?
-
Because they're gonna cause destruction in the camp.
-
So they died.
-
But then the rest of them?
-
They said oh okay, I guess we're wrong, let's go try.
-
No, it was too late.
-
Then Forget it.
-
So 40 years.
-
40 years went by and everybody 20 years of age and older died in the wilderness.
-
So, joshua and Caleb, what did they do?
-
Well, I was saying this on Thursday, you know Thursday.
-
If you didn't see it, I said it on Thursday.
-
Well, they became youth pastors.
-
They turned all their attention on the 20 year olds and younger.
-
They started pouring into them, they started teaching them, they started telling them about the Promised Land.
-
They started telling them what was awaiting them.
-
You're gonna have to wait a while, but we're gonna eventually get there.
-
Just think about the 20 year olds.
-
They were 60.
-
They were 60 when they crossed the Jordan, and it's a long time to wait.
-
Sometimes we have to wait a while.
-
It was worth the wait, wasn't it?
-
So they got this perspective, and the ones that got God's perspective were Joshua and Caleb, and the other 10 didn't.
-
And so God gave us that word.
-
We're gonna have to get God's perspective on ourselves and on what God has done.
-
If there's a slightest bit of well I don't deserve, see, it's not about deserve, it's about what Jesus bought and paid for.
-
We don't deserve anything except hell, and we're not gonna get what we deserve.
-
Thank God, I'm not getting what I deserve.
-
I'm getting to go to heaven through no fault of my own.
-
Jesus did the whole thing.
-
All I had to do was agree with it and believe it.
-
And then the other word was power.
-
He said I'm gonna send the rain.
-
If you'll obey me, I'll send the rain.
-
And it's season because it drinks in the rain from heaven.
-
One thing about it you can't have a crop without rain.
-
But rain will not produce a crop by itself.
-
You know it can rain and rain and rain, but if there's no seed in the ground it just runs off.
-
Isn't that right?
-
Or I suppose you have a crop and it's growing.
-
Can rain harvest a crop?
-
So rain has no power?
-
Can we say that?
-
I mean there takes power, it takes power to plant the seed, I mean, you know, and then it takes power to harvest the crop.
-
Otherwise, if rain did all of it, then the farmer could sell all of his equipment.
-
He wouldn't need a tractor, he wouldn't need a cultivator, he wouldn't need anything.
-
He'd just dump a 50 pound sack of corn seed out in the field and say, okay, grow.
-
No, that's not how it works.
-
He's got to bust the seed open, put it in the planter and run that tractor through there and plant that field.
-
Right, it takes what Power.
-
If we're going to have a crop, it takes power.
-
We've got to have the power of our confession.
-
We have got to broadcast the seed, we've got to plant the seed and then when the harvest comes, what do we do?
-
We got to put in the sickle.
-
Glory to God.
-
All of that takes power, and we shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon us and we shall be witnesses about what God has done.
-
Oh, god has done great things.
-
He's done great things.
-
For this to be the greatest year yet he had to have done great things.
-
Everybody say power, perspective, and then the last one is prominence.
-
I see some people just kind of stumble over prominence.
-
Let's turn over to Joshua again and chapter one, and then we'll talk about the power of God and then chapter two, talking about perspective and power and prominence.
-
I think you can see this.
-
Joshua, chapter two, verse nine.
-
This is talking about Rahab the harlot.
-
This is after you know.
-
This is the two spies Instead of 12 spies.
-
Joshua would just.
-
He learned that God so loved the world he didn't send a committee, so he just put the two spies in there instead of 12.
-
I mean, he didn't want to take his chances.
-
I mean just a couple of guys over there.
-
We did the 12 last time and it was a disaster.
-
It was pretty hard to get 12 people to agree on anything, you know what I mean.
-
And so he, he, he, he, two people.
-
So he sends them over and they get Rahab the harlot.
-
They're staying with her.
-
And she's verse nine.
-
She said under the men I know that the Lord have given you the land and that your terror is falling upon us and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
-
Just think about these two now.
-
Think about these two spies and what they heard.
-
See, they heard already about daddy and mama faint.
-
They heard they failed.
-
They heard that they believed the lie.
-
They heard that they were all afraid of the giants.
-
But what?
-
And that was their perspective.
-
But what was the perspective of the enemy?
-
The perspective of the enemy was, we know, god gave you the land.
-
Just think of that.
-
They've been sitting there 40 years waiting for Israel to come take their land from them.
-
How would you like to live like that?
-
You just lived every day for 40 years.
-
Well, god gave them the land.
-
I don't know when they're gonna come and take it, but I guess I better live it up while I can.
-
I guess I better have a lot of fun while I can.
-
Let's open up another can of suds and let's.
-
I mean, what a way to live.
-
Just think about it.
-
We know God gave you the land we know and that your terror is falling upon us and all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
-
For 40 years.
-
They're fainted for 40 years.
-
The perspective was completely wrong.
-
I mean, so often we're so afraid of the devil, we're so afraid of the unknown, we're so afraid of what is unfamiliar that we don't really realize what kind of effect our faith is having.
-
Gotta, have a perspective.
-
That's God's perspective.
-
Gotta have it.
-
It's not optional, for we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you, and when you came out of Egypt, and what you did under the two kings of the Amorites that were on the other side Jordan, zion and Ag, whom you utterly destroyed.
-
And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts didn't melt.
-
Neither did there remain any more courage in any man because of you.
-
For the Lord, your God, he is God in heaven, above and in earth, beneath man.
-
Wow, there is a lady that already heard the word and nobody preached to her, except the enemy, just talking about the other people.
-
She became a believer.
-
Oh my, everybody say perspective, power.
-
And so then what did that create?
-
Prominence.
-
They're still talking about something that happened 40 years ago.
-
They've been dreading it for 40 years.
-
Don't tell me that Moses and the children of Israel didn't have prominence.
-
They did.
-
They had prominence.
-
It kind of reminds me of the seven sons of Sceva, the vagabond exorcist, that were casting the devil out of a young man and said in the name of Jesus.
-
Paul preached it Come out.
-
Well, wait a minute.
-
Here I mean, oh, jesus, I know and Paul, I know, but who are you?
-
And that young man jumped on the seven sons and just beat them up, stripped them naked and sent them on their way.
-
That's kind of the way it is.
-
I mean, if we only knew the effect that we have on the enemy, if we only knew our prominence in the spirit realm, something we're gonna have to not be afraid of or be embarrassed about, because the product of perspective and power is the prominence.
-
Are you getting anything out of this?
-
And then another word God gave us God's enlarging our footprint, so kind of an interesting note on this that I've been meditating on all this.
-
But January 2001,.
-
God gave us a word about that year being a premier year.
-
You know, remember 2000,.
-
That was the everybody was worried about 1999 turning into 2000.
-
So they were all panicky about the computers and planes were gonna fall out of the sky.
-
I heard about people buying land in Arizona.
-
I don't know why.
-
Why would you go to Arizona?
-
I mean, it doesn't.
-
I mean that's not where I'd choose.
-
I'd choose Hawaii, but not a anyway, arizona.
-
It's really hot there, anyway.
-
But then after that January 01, I received a word premier year.
-
And then after that I saw, you know, in a vision, 2001, comma, 2002, comma, dot, dot, dot.
-
So it became a first in a series of years and a premiere like a premiere, hollywood premiere, you know, where they had the spotlights and the red carpet and movie stars arriving in limos and getting out and getting their pictures taken by, you know, all of the photographers and whatever.
-
So a premiere year.
-
And so of course we were thinking of it in the terms of positive, the first time.
-
This is the first time event.
-
We're going to experience things for the first time.
-
There's gonna be some first time events.
-
Well, of course, that was 9-11.
-
It was the first time we've been attacked on our own soil and you know, it was a miracle that only 3,000, 2,800, whatever people died.
-
Of course people died after that from the, from the inhaling all the horrible stuff, and but it was significant at the time because we, you know, 9-11 was a huge financial reversal.
-
We had a huge stock market crack.
-
It closed Wall Street, if you'll recall Some of you don't recall, but it's 19 years ago.
-
I know it's been a long time for some of you but the stock market was closed and then, when it opened, it fell, you know, and it was.
-
It was bad and and things.
-
We were in the seventh day Adventist Church and it wasn't great.
-
I mean, you know, our giving was down, we had people in our congregation suffered, laid off and all of that kind of thing, and that was 2001,.
-
But we just kept on, we continued and we had a piece of property and we were considering on how to get on it.
-
And early the next year, 2002, and here we just had this three months, four months, so early in 2002, I just want to tell you what we did.
-
So so I had, I had a word from God to what are you going to do with that property?
-
It's all overgrown.
-
We would go over there.
-
You couldn't even see the property.
-
It had 92.7 acres of champions crossing subdivision.
-
It was solid woods and it was so crowded in there.
-
You we had a little place where we could go and have a picnic, but most of it was just all trees and brush and everything.
-
He said your people don't even can't even see the property.
-
They can't see how big it is, they don't even know 92 acres.
-
They can't even fathom.
-
You need to clear it out, need to thin it out.
-
So we went out, we got a bid and we got a couple of bulldozers and we spent $32,000 clearing the underbrush out from that land.
-
Does anybody remember that?
-
I mean here we are in this kind of and we're spending money like that.
-
There's $32,000 and I mean that money.
-
I mean we just had to write a check over about six weeks.
-
So anyway, it comes out here about March or so.
-
They finished it and they just made such a difference.
-
You could see the property, you could see how big it was, you could look through there.
-
We just piled up the trees and the brush and piles.
-
They're big piles everywhere, but mostly it was open and it was so beautiful.
-
And then the weeds grew and by April I walked out there and the weeds were up to my.
-
The weeds were right up to my chin and I'll never forget.
-
I was walking around out there and I said we had just done this $32,000.
-
And here it is.
-
It got finished in March.
-
We had one month to enjoy it and then April, the weeds are like this.
-
And God said what are you gonna do about these weeds?
-
I said what do you mean?
-
What am I gonna do about them?
-
So what are you gonna do about them?
-
You can't leave this like this.
-
I said I can't leave it like this.
-
And I said no, you need to mow this thing, mow it, mow it.
-
So I started finding out what it was gonna take to mow it.
-
And it was not a garden tractor.
-
I mean, a garden tractor wasn't gonna work.
-
So we went out all over town.
-
We found a Kubota tractor.
-
It was $28,000 for a tractor, a mower, a front end blade, and what else did it have on it?
-
I forgot now, but anyway, we bought all the stuff and I told the church about it.
-
I said well, you know, we, by faith, you know we cleared that property.
-
But now we got this, we gotta mow it.
-
So we started a big campaign.
-
We had volunteers go out there.
-
I mowed.
-
One time I got poison ivy all over me so I retired from mowing.
-
No more mowing for pastor Claire mowed.
-
I think Gladys mowed, you couldn't keep her off that tractor.
-
She wanted to be on that tractor.
-
I mean, anybody that drive a ride a borough in Mexico is gonna ride a tractor in America.
-
But anyway, so a couple in this church, they just they wrote a check and covered that cost.
-
And so then we, coming up on May and June we're still trying to find a lender for our property.
-
We went and we looked at a building and we started drawing plans and all of that.
-
So see, we kept continuing, even under terrible conditions.
-
And then finally, in May, you know, we got the figure what was gonna cost us, and we just couldn't make the deal work.
-
We couldn't borrow enough money to build the building that we wanted to build.
-
So I went up to the Lord.
-
I said Lord, what do we do now?
-
This is by this time it's about June of 2002, just less than a year after 9-11.
-
I've been trying to give perspective on this and so, less than a year after 9-11, I'm saying, hey, now what's next?
-
I've gone as far as my faith will take me.
-
I don't have faith to start that building with a big deficiency.
-
We need to have at least we have to be able to borrow all the money on the building.
-
I can't put any more cash.
-
We don't have any much cash.
-
We put the cash in.
-
I reminded him.
-
I said remember when we cleared the property, remember when we bought a tractor that was replaced but still I mean we've got.
-
There's just no way.
-
That's when I heard from our former landlord, the lean holder on the property where we were making payments.
-
Our payments on the property are $5,700 a month, so we had a $5,700 a month land payment and then we had a $16,000 a month church lease payment Praise, some of you are looking at me like I'm crazy.
-
And I did feel crazy a few times when we were writing those checks, but you know we never ran out.
-
I said we never ran out, we just kept on continuing, continuing and then after 9-11, then my former landlord called me I've got a tax problem here.
-
Here's my solution Give me the property back, the 92.7 acres you bought.
-
I said, look, we got a million cash in it.
-
Yeah, but I'm going to give you the 85 acres, this tract here, 85 acres free and clear, and you give me a tax write-off for 9.7 million, because I have an appraisal for 9.7 million on this property and it was an inflated appraisal.
-
I knew that.
-
That's common in real estate.
-
You get a favorable appraisal when you're trying to do what he was doing and so that's his business.
-
That's not my business, that's his business.
-
If the IRS doesn't like it, they have to go to him, not me.
-
So we were able to do that and that's how we had a landmark.
-
I mean, if we gave $600,000 that we owed on the other property, he got that property back and we got 85 acres free and clear.
-
That made the numbers work on our loan and we were able to build our first building.
-
And a year later, friend of a friend I won't say exactly, but friend of a friend this came all the way around the pike and they said that he was so glad to be able to help our church.
-
He's an unbelievable, but he was telling somebody about the whole thing and that friend told a friend of Gladys's.
-
It came all the way around the pike and how he got.
-
He had made $20 million in the stock market during the fall, during the stock market crash of 9-11.
-
He was put out, put options.
-
He was short in the stock market.
-
In other words, making money when the market is on the way down.
-
You can make money in every direction.
-
You can make money when things are appreciating and you can make money when things are depreciating.
-
But it takes us a delta, a delta, a change.
-
You can make money in either direction.
-
He made money, you know, betting against the stock market.
-
He made $20 million in one year.
-
He needed a tax write-off and we gave him one.
-
And because of a tragedy in our country, this church got blessed Because of a tragedy that's hit our country with a man-made virus that was allowed to be released in this country.
-
It was, I don't know that it was intentions, probably, you know that's another discussion we had and from what he can tell, it wasn't really intentional.
-
It was just incompetence.
-
It's their infrastructure.
-
It's lousy over there.
-
Really, china is a third-world country.
-
If you really want to know the truth, they just have a lot of money.
-
Thanks to us, thanks to Joe Biden, thanks to all these crooked politicians.
-
And so I'm telling you, this is so similar to what we've already done that God's already done for us.
-
I believe God's going to reset our clock and we're going to get a chance to get blessed, blessed, blessed out of this whole thing.
-
Come on, let's lift our hands.
-
Father, we thank you.
-
Right now You're getting anything out of this.
-
Now, when I told that doctor we had opened on April, when did you open?
-
April 5th, april 5th?
-
He liked to drop, like I said, the ribs came out of his mouth.
-
He came unhinged there for a moment.
-
I said, yeah, we're not having any problem.
-
I mean there's been a few here and there, but I mean I don't believe anybody's caught COVID in church.
-
They might catch COVID out in the community, but nobody here has been sick because of here.
-
And I told him how we had preached on healing for all the month of February.
-
We got our own abaction, got our own immunization of the Word of God After that.
-
I mean, we preached just on healing Sunday morning and Wednesday night, Sunday morning and Wednesday night, the entire month of February.
-
God had us set up for success.
-
So so there was prominence there when we did that there was prominence because we were open and the news media began to come around and started doing interviews and there was interviews spread all over the country and then on the same.
-
At the same time, some other things started happening in the political realm.
-
The regional center thing started kicking in.
-
I can't say that we'd had that much influence, but it kind of started in earnest during the discussion today.
-
In above speaking Thanks bathroom bill thing, the hero ordinance Remember that 2014?
-
We got really involved.
-
How many of you remember going down to City Hall and learning a few things?
-
I mean we learned a lot.
-
I mean it was a pretty intimidating situation and if we ever have to do that again, we will do a better job of prepping you and giving you talking points because, well, they had professional agitators in there from San Francisco and so here we are, just faith people and here they are professional, they get paid.
-
All those people were paid and so it was pretty intimidating.
-
So we kind of threw you in the lines.
-
Then, I know, but I'm proud of you all did a great job.
-
But we started getting hooked up with Houston Air Passengers Council and when we started getting involved with other churches our prominence began to grow.
-
Our favor began to grow.
-
And then in 2016, we had our first candidate night.
-
We had two candidates come and they were running for separate for places in the state house and only one showed up.
-
One of them had real sick.
-
He got had pancreatitis, so he begged off and couldn't come.
-
So we only had one candidate.
-
That night in 2016, on a Sunday night Anybody remember that we gave him a little chance to talk and we met him, had a little meet and greet out in the lobby.
-
That was our very first candidate night.
-
And then in 2018, we had a bigger meeting that that we had in with Dr Jeffers came to town and spoke, remember that.
-
And we had a bigger candidate night and we had commissioner here and different people and it was.
-
It was pretty impressive and so our footprints getting a little bigger.
-
And then in 2019, we had a bigger meeting yet.
-
Rafael Cruz was here, amen Dan Crenshaw, his wife and a bunch of other candidates.
-
I saw a Wendell champion.
-
He was here that night.
-
Wendell was here.
-
This he just man.
-
I tell you he's full of the word man.
-
I'm telling you I just love him.
-
He's running for Sheila Jackson Lees.
-
Does anybody, does anybody live in that, y'all live in that.
-
Well, see, there you go.
-
Wendell, wendell's your man.
-
Pray, play and pay.
-
That's his message, amen.
-
And so then, I don't want you to forget this and December of 19,.
-
We had 10 judges here, 10 judge candidates, 10.
-
Remember, they were out in the lobby and they were just bowled over.
-
They just couldn't believe that we'd invited them.
-
It's hard for judges to campaign.
-
They can't, they could, they could knock on doors all day long and not get to talk to as many people as they talk to that day.
-
And so our regional center business started growing regional center executive, legislative, judicial power and authority.
-
And so that was all last year.
-
But then once we, once we got on early, and that exploded our regional center business.
-
And so now we had the Harris County Republican reorganizational meeting, or organizational meeting here, 400 people from all over Harris County.
-
A lot of them had to drive.
-
I talked to one lady that drove all the way from, you know, close to La Porte, I mean all the, all the furthest reaches of of Harris County, and they were here in our church and they had a good meeting.
-
There was some contention that could have had, they could have had, but because people say Well, you know, god doesn't live in building made with hands.
-
Yeah, well, that's true, but at the same time, the Holy Ghost is everywhere present, isn't he?
-
Isn't he omnipresent?
-
And I just believe the Holy Ghost is more present here than he is in Joe's bar.
-
You can believe whatever you want, but I believe there's more Holy Ghost here, even if there's no body here.
-
I believe when you walk in, I know I feel a difference.
-
When I walk in this sanctuary there's not a soul there, but I feel something and they, they felt it.
-
It influenced their meeting.
-
And then, of course, just the other day, we have the state meeting and they all said oh, we love coming to a church.
-
We've never done this, never.
-
Oh, this is fantastic.
-
So we encourage them.
-
Let's get some more churches.
-
There's a big state.
-
There's got to be other churches and other cities that can host a meeting.
-
Why should you have to all become all the way you know, from way on one side of the state all the way to Houston?
-
Except they loved it, I wouldn't mind hosting them all, but I'm not a hog.
-
By the way, thanks to everybody that was here.
-
Lee was here and Tara was here, and Justin and Rachel were here, james was here.
-
Are y'all getting anything out of this?
-
I'm talking about the prominence, the perspective.
-
Power and prominence is growing, and so I believe that that is a signal to you individually.
-
As a church, our inheritance has come into clearer focus.
-
It's bigger than I ever thought.
-
I mean.
-
It just makes me weep when I when I just I think about how long it's taken from when he said regional center 26 years ago to where we are right now and where we're about to be.
-
I'm telling you we're about to be in some other deeper waters.
-
I said we're about to be in deeper waters and we're all part of that.
-
We're all part of that.
-
But I'm talking individually right now.
-
Whatever it was that you put on these red envelopes, whatever you were believing for, if it hasn't fully come to pass, don't give up.
-
We're not ending anything.
-
It's in place.
-
I'm saying sun stand still and moon.
-
We just saying no, give us a whole another year.
-
We need a whole another year to make up for this fiasco that we had nothing to do with, amen.
-
So I forgot to tell you that.
-
I forgot to tell you the title.
-
The title of this message is the inheritance Yours for the taking.
-
So the your inheritance is yours for the taking.
-
Come on, lift your hands and receive it.
-
Come on, lift your hands and thank God, hallelujah.
-
Be encouraged.
