I've got a little message for you tonight.
-
God gave me.
-
It's not long, it's kind of simple, but you know, sometimes simple is good.
-
I think about brother Osteen.
-
He just preached things so simple Anybody could understand his preaching.
-
He just was so logical and so he was such a teacher.
-
Thank God for my pastor.
-
Let's say this together say heavenly father, I'm glad to be here tonight, thank God for your presence.
-
And now, holy Spirit, shine your light on the Word and give me understanding of the Word of God, so that my faith will be built and my spirit will be developed.
-
We're going into the last days and I must be strong spirit, soul and body.
-
And I believe I received tonight what I need in Jesus name.
-
Laurie, it's good to see you.
-
I mentioned Calvin.
-
We're glad to see Laurie and we miss you guys from being here.
-
Glad we, anytime you can get back here and see us, amen.
-
Let's look at Psalm 110.
-
Psalm 110 and also Hebrews 12.
-
The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
-
The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion.
-
Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies, rule in the midst of thine enemies.
-
And then in Hebrews, chapter 12, verse 22.
-
Verse 22, these verses are talking about the shaking.
-
I believe we're in the shaking, verse 22,.
-
But you are come, see, you're not come to the mount that shook in the Old Testament, but you are come unto Mount Zion and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.
-
Man, we had them last Sunday night.
-
Some of them were as tall as a ceiling, 30 something foot tall.
-
As we prayed.
-
They left here on assignment.
-
I have been able to get it out of my thinking.
-
The kind of praying that's done here is affecting the entire globe and it's certainly affecting this country and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly of the church of the firstborn Everybody shout that's me which are enrolled in heaven.
-
Aren't you glad your name's written in heaven?
-
And I'm like, wow, don't ever feel like nobody knows you.
-
Your name is up there, your name's written down.
-
Glory to God.
-
And where was I?
-
I got all taken with that, okay.
-
And to God, the comforter of all, the hugger of all.
-
Oh, brother, you need a hug.
-
I can give you a.
-
The judge of all Notice it talks about the judge when it's talking about the shaking, the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect or mature, and it's still talking about where you've come to.
-
And you've come to Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant, and you've come to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of able.
-
So tonight I just wanted to share a message entitled the Voice of Authority.
-
The Voice of Authority God expects the church to rule and, as I've said before, when the church doesn't rule, what happens?
-
We have a power vacuum.
-
Guess who occupies the vacuum?
-
The Diablo, and we've made it so easy for him in this country before 9-11 and especially after 9-11.
-
I mean, god gave us a wake up call.
-
Like I said this morning, we've ignored it.
-
It's not too late for the Voice of Authority to rise up.
-
It's why I'm doing what I'm doing.
-
I've banished the thought of how big the church is or how.
-
Nobody knows me.
-
I'll tell you who knows me.
-
Jesus knows me.
-
I think about this often when the seven sons of Sceva, the vagabond Jewish exorcists, came up to the young man that had demons and he said in the name.
-
They said in the name of Jesus, paul, preach it.
-
Because they were impressed with Paul.
-
I mean, they were impressed how he ministered and they're Jewish, they didn't have the right to use the name of Jesus.
-
And the young man in whom the demons were said well, you know, jesus, I know, and Paul, I know.
-
But who are you?
-
Well, you know what, they know you, they know me.
-
I mean, those demons know our voice, our voice of authority.
-
Why?
-
Because we know all the voices that are associated with our voice.
-
Because it talks about all those voices.
-
Right here in these verses, everybody say the voice of authority.
-
I mean in Hebrews 10, 13, just a couple of pages back, he's talking about Jesus and talking about he made one offering.
-
And then he said in verse 12, but this man talking about Jesus, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, forever sat down on the right hand of God, from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
-
And it references Psalm 110.
-
That's Jesus.
-
Jesus expecting you and me to make the devil his footstool.
-
In other words, keep the devil under your feet.
-
Somebody said one time if you wanna give a message to the devil, write it on the bottom of your shoes.
-
In the Gulf War, bush 41's war to free Kuwait, his buddies.
-
That was kinda nasty, but it's true, I'm sorry.
-
Saddam Hussein's brother.
-
He was on the newsreel one night I was watching six o'clock news and you know how Saddam Hussein, dressed in military clothes, hit pistol on his belt.
-
You know, walk around what his brother tried to be the same thing and his brother was doing that.
-
They were going down the line of some poor people that they had captured and they were dressed in rags.
-
You couldn't tell they were soldiers, they're just poor people that they had, you know, were lording it over.
-
And so the brother pulled out his big old 45 automatic pistol.
-
You know it looked like he stole it from one of our troops.
-
That's the kind of pistol they have, you know, in army.
-
But anyway he came up to this man.
-
The man looked at the gun and he just kinda, but he was on his knees and he just bowed his head and Saddam Hussein's brother just took his boot and he took and he just shoved the man on the back of his head.
-
He just shoved his face into the dirt and pulled the gun out and was threatening to kill him, probably making verbal threats to him.
-
Poor guys just trembling knowing he's gonna have his brain shot out.
-
But in the Middle East.
-
That's what they do to.
-
When someone is conquered, they put them under their feet, literally.
-
That's where the devil is.
-
He's under your feet and God wants him to stay there.
-
He wants to make the enemy his Jesus footstool.
-
And we are the body of Christ, aren't we?
-
He's expecting that.
-
I said he's expecting it.
-
What do you think about churches that never teach about the authority of the believer?
-
Well, they'll have to answer one day.
-
Ephesians 1.22 says that God has put all things under our feet, and that includes principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this present age, any of these spirits of infirmity that we dealt with here tonight.
-
We have the voice of authority, jesus, I know Paul, I know Stan, I know Linda, I know Karen, I know, and on and on.
-
Your voice is known when you have revelation of your own authority, because it's not your authority, it's his authority.
-
Our voice is the voice of authority, god's sovereignty.
-
I like what Dr Ed Dufresne used to say when he would come here.
-
He said you know, people talk about the sovereignty.
-
Well, in God's sovereignty, god's sovereignty is in your mouth.
-
I love that.
-
That offends some Christians, so they don't get it.
-
They just don't get it.
-
They don't get the authority of the believer.
-
They don't get that.
-
You can have what you say.
-
I didn't say it, the Bible said it.
-
Jesus is the one that said it.
-
Amen.
-
And Jesus is expecting us to keep the enemy his foot stoop.
-
So, in Hebrews 12, those verses that I read there about the but you are come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, all that, all those two verses that that is where, when we gather together, that's where we are, that's where we are tonight.
-
We're gathered together in the presence of all of those voices, the voices of authority, so that when the devil hears our voice, he hears all the voices of authority that are listed right there in those two verses.
-
Well, what are they?
-
Well, in verse 24, the voice of the blood of Jesus.
-
The blood of Jesus speaketh better things than that available.
-
So the blood has a voice.
-
When you speak out of your mouth, what the blood of Jesus is doing, has done, is gonna do for you.
-
I'm telling you, the regions of darkness hear that.
-
His authority, his blood for the God, the voice of the mediator of our covenant, jesus.
-
I mean, really, you can't tell our voice from his voice.
-
We're so one with him, we're so identified with him that when we speak they think it's Jesus talking to him.
-
And the last time they heard from Jesus they can't forget it, because, I mean, he beat the living daylights out of them.
-
He stripped them from himself.
-
You wanna read what he did?
-
He did Rich Reep, psalm 18.
-
I mean, he just stepped all over the devil.
-
He chased him.
-
He chased him as far as he.
-
The devil kept running and he kept chasing him.
-
The first order of business after the resurrection was to demoralize the devil, to strip him of all of his power.
-
The first order of business was to redeem us from his power.
-
Glory to God.
-
He didn't wait for six months.
-
He said well, I'm gonna get around to that.
-
Father, I've got a few things on my list here.
-
Let me see some new robes.
-
No, the first order of business he beat the devil up and let a train of vanquished foes.
-
Glory to God.
-
Spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly trying to think over them.
-
Hey, hey, hey.
-
In verse 23, it talks about the general assembly of the spirits of just men made perfect.
-
I mean, that's talking about the saints that have defied it.
-
They still have a voice, even though they're in heaven and we can't hear them.
-
But the devil can hear them, all those voices of authority when we speak Verse 23, and God, the judge of all.
-
They hear God, the judge.
-
Our nation is in danger, but the church isn't.
-
The church has a covenant with God.
-
It has a better covenant than that of Israel.
-
And let me tell you a secret the church has a better covenant than the covenant that America has with God, because the covenant that America has with God was given with the Mayflower Compact and also John Winthrop, and it was based on the Old Testament.
-
They didn't.
-
So nations don't have.
-
Only other nation has a covenant with God is the nation of Israel.
-
And of course, the Bible doesn't say anything about America, but we happen to know that America was dedicated to the preaching of the gospel.
-
But listen, we're not saved by works.
-
We're saved by grace, through faith.
-
If we were asleep for too long and we didn't speak out quick enough, we're still going to heaven.
-
Should we try to wake others up?
-
I believe it's profitable for us to be awake and not be asleep.
-
I Believe what we're doing is we're costing our reward in eternity.
-
But our salvation is not at risk, but our nation, our nation, is at risk because nations are ethnos and Ethnos are saved by works.
-
What are you talking about, pat?
-
Well, how you treat Israel is works.
-
Y'all are look at me like a cow at a new gate.
-
I didn't really intend to go down this road.
-
It's kind of controversial.
-
I've had people really fight me on it, not fight me, you know, literally fight me.
-
Well, maybe I'd have felt like it.
-
I don't know how many of you think I cared, it's true anyhow.
-
So we have a better covenant.
-
We're not.
-
Well, I'm not, I'm not worried about the church going to hell.
-
Okay, anytime, you hear me talk about judgment.
-
I'm not talking about the church, I'm talking about the nations.
-
I Do love America and I want America to fulfill its destiny.
-
And I start over, we're gonna still believe amen, but anyway, we have the God, the judge of all his voices, in there.
-
Verse 23 the church of the firstborn, which is the Ecclesia, the church of the firstborn, that's us.
-
Sometimes we need more voices than just ours.
-
Isn't it good to have a church where people can come to an altar and all the voice of the church, the Ecclesia, gets involved in your situation, agreement?
-
Verse 22 innumerable companies of angels.
-
Angels have voices.
-
I'm talking about the voice of authority and what that involves and we start thinking about all the voices that are joined up with ours.
-
You don't ever have to feel like you're outnumbered, you don't ever have to feel like you're in the minority.
-
I'm telling you, you, you got the greater one living on the inside of you and you got all these other voices Adding their voice to your voice of authority.
-
It may seem like well, that nobody listens to me.
-
Yeah, they do.
-
Yeah, they do.
-
Come on, let's lift our hands.
-
Lord, we thank you that you've given us a voice of authority.
-
Hallelujah, and we rule in rain.
-
We keep your enemies on the at their foots to, at your foots, to.
-
Where are foot stools anyway, therefore, your feet to rest on, or where is Jesus feet?
-
Right here, amen.
-
It's so easy.
-
Everybody's praying for Jesus to do something.
-
God to do something.
-
He's saying you do it.
-
You've got the authority.
-
Plus, you've got all these people joining in with you.
-
You got the voice of authority, people joining in with you.
-
You got the voice of the blood, the voice of the mediator, the voice of the saints on the other side, the voice of the God of judge of all, voice of the church of the first board, voice of angels Also, verse 22 the voice of worshipers around the throne over the God, the voice of the city of the living God.
-
There's another voice.
-
Let's go back to Psalm 110.
-
You get anything out of this.
-
It's kind of a simple message, but I mean I just think it's the more you know about your authority, the more you exercise it, the more it takes faith to exercise your authority, because the devil are trying to talk you out.
-
There's almost no subject that you can get into that the devil will fight you harder than your place of authority at the right hand of God.
-
He will fight you.
-
He will try to keep you on the earth.
-
He will try to keep you in the arena of the sense knowledge, in the sense realm of your circumstances, of your wood of kudashutas, your rear view mirror.
-
He will try to keep you in that realm.
-
But let me tell you something that's not where we are.
-
We're at the right hand of the father in Christ, psalm 110.
-
So the Lord, verse two the Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion.
-
Rule thou in the midst of thy enemies, right in the midst of them.
-
That's where you have to rule.
-
You have to rule over the devil.
-
You have to keep him under control.
-
If you let him run a muck and have a power vacuum, you're going to have some trouble.
-
He is a supernatural being.
-
He's stronger than your flesh, he's stronger than your mind, but he's not stronger than your spirit filled with the Holy house.
-
Verse three thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power and the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning Thou hast to do of thy youth.
-
The Lord has sworn and will not repent.
-
Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
-
So Jesus was a priest after the order of Melchizedek, not after the order of Aaron.
-
Aaron came from the tribe of Levi.
-
Melchizedek had no beginning or ending.
-
He appeared one time in the Bible.
-
Remember who the man was?
-
He was the priest of Shalom Salem.
-
No beginning, no ending.
-
Nobody knew where.
-
No, no, no pedigree Like Aaron had a pedigree, no pedigree.
-
And yet Abraham paid tithes to him.
-
So the next voice is the voice of finances Melchizedek.
-
He received the tithes from Abraham.
-
And who are we?
-
We're the seed of Abraham.
-
So we paid tithes in Abraham to Melchizedek.
-
So he is the voice of finances.
-
Your finances have a voice.
-
What you've done with your money has a voice.
-
Every offering you've given, every sacrificial thing, all your tithes have a voice.
-
Oh, come on, let's praise God for that.
-
Consider how great this man was who would receive tithes of Abraham.
-
Glory to God.
-
Whoo, maybe y'all will get this, maybe tomorrow.
-
What's your name About three o'clock?
-
Glory to God.
-
Let's look at Revelation, chapter 12.
Revelation 12 chapter mention
-
Let's look at Revelation, chapter 12.
Revelation 12 chapter mention
-
Verse 10, I heard a loud boy saying in heaven Now it's come, salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ, for the accuser of our brethren is cast down.
-
The accuser of our brethren, the devil's an accuser.
-
When he accuses you, you've got to answer his accusations.
-
That's what I like about President Trump.
-
He's continually accused of wrongdoing.
-
He's continually accused of things he's not guilty of and he does not let it slide.
-
The Bush family, the patrician country club, Rich.
-
They didn't feel the need to dignify such accusations, so we don't answer that.
-
We're president Officer.
-
The president doesn't defend itself, and so the news media drove his favorability rating down to the low 30s when we had the greatest economy and everything.
-
They had every reason for his favor Bush 43 especially, and Bush 41, after the Gulf War, his favorability rating was 68%.
-
I've never seen it in history.
-
I've never seen a president with a favorability rating as high as Bush 41.
-
What happened to him?
-
He plummeted.
-
The news media tore him apart and he never would answer.
-
He would never defend himself and thereby he never defended me.
-
That voted for him, and neither did his son.
-
I voted for both of them.
-
They didn't defend me.
-
You know what Trump is defending me?
-
He defends everybody that voted for him by saying no, I'm not going to accept that accusation.
-
We better develop a voice against the devil.
-
We better not accept accusation and the power of his Christ for the cues of our brethren is cast down.
-
Which accused them before our God and they overcame him.
-
Who the accused us?
-
How did we overcome it?
-
They overcame it by the blood of the lamb.
-
Really, more accurately, the voice of the blood of the lamb and, even more accurately, the voice, our voice, speaking back what the blood of the lamb has done for us.
-
There's gotta be an answer.
-
There's gotta be speaking.
-
We've got to rule in the midst of our enemies by our voice.
-
No voice, no ruling.
-
No, no, no, no voice.
-
See, no ruling.
-
Everybody say God gave me a voice and they overcame it by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony.
-
There again, the word of their testimony, the voice of what the blood has done for them.
-
You gotta have revelation, you gotta have faith in what the blood has done.
-
And what does that do?
-
It overcomes the devil, and they love not their lives under the death.
-
What does that mean?
-
It means your life doesn't belong to you.
-
So the quicker you get over yourself, the better.
-
The quicker you understand that you don't belong to yourself.
-
Your whole life is in God's hands and he can use you for any purpose.
-
Just yield it.
-
It's just good to be dead, but you're dead in Christ.
-
I'm dead, but he's alive.
-
Praise God.
-
Are you getting anything out of this?
-
What were you doing?
-
Everybody say I'm an overcomer.
-
So we overcome the accuser, the voice of the blood and the voice of what the blood did and is doing.
-
And every time we rise up and speak back to the devil and speak back to the enemy, speak back to infirmity and speak back to mountains and speak back to obstacles and speak back to circumstances, all of the voices we've talked about tonight are added to our voice over to God.
-
You're not by yourself.
-
Those voices converge out of your mouth.
-
You can see what a shame it is when you don't have a word to say, when you don't answer these things with your faith and your faithful words.
-
Glory to God.
-
We have the voice of authority.
-
Come on, lift your hand and receive tonight Hallelujah.
-
I told you it was simple and kind of short, but it's powerful.
