  1. All right, let's wave our bibles around, make Jesus glad, the devil and Democrats mad, and let's say this together say heavenly Father, I'm here on purpose this morning.

  2. I'm not here because of obligation.

  3. I'm here because I desire to be in your presence and to hear the issuing forth of your holy word, inspired by your Holy Spirit.

  4. It's the word and the spirit working together that are changing my life, changing my circumstances and making me the blessing that I've been destined to be.

  5. In Jesus name, amen.

  6. Thank you, you can be seated.

  7. Let's turn our bibles this morning to the book of Hebrews, chapter 11.

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  8. Years ago, god spoke to me and he said teach what you take for granted.

  9. And sometimes you know preachers can just take for granted that everybody knows what they know.

  10. Well, now, everybody doesn't know what I know.

  11. That's the reason I have to get up here, and sometimes it takes a while for people to find a receive.

  12. After you hear it and hear it.

  13. Faith comes by hearing and hearing, not by having heard something years ago.

  14. So God delivered me from the fear of repetition.

  15. Amen.

  16. We need to hear and hear things again.

  17. So this morning, hebrews 11, I don't know how many times I've preached these verses, but I'm gonna preach it one more time.

  18. Everybody say I'm ready to receive All right.

  19. Hebrews 11, one.

  20. Now, faith is the substance of things.

  21. Hope for the evidence of things not seen.

  22. Everybody shout not seen.

  23. For by it the elders obtained a good report.

  24. But they obtained how?

  25. By faith.

  26. They obtained Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear, and I like the Barclay translation.

  27. It is by faith that we understand that the universe was constructed by the Word of God, for the scene had to take its origin from the unseen.

  28. The scene had to take its origin from the unseen.

  29. And so today I wanted to share a message entitled Building your World With Words.

  30. Building your World With Words.

  31. I remember 40 years ago when I got ahold of this kind of teaching.

  32. It absolutely changed my life.

  33. It absolutely made like a light.

  34. Now, the biggest thing was I got saved.

  35. But I didn't get saved hearing this.

  36. After I got saved, I started hearing this kind of preaching John Osteen, kenneth Copeland, kenneth Hagen, oral Roberts, charles Caps I mean just, I could go right down the list, shamboq, you know, I could just go down the list.

  37. I mean, here we were in a great city.

  38. Houston's a great city.

  39. It's such a privilege.

  40. I'm so glad I didn't get saved in Podunkville, where I'm not exposed to anything except some old, dried up, shriveled up person that never went anywhere, never heard anything, just preached a bunch of theories.

  41. Thank God, we were exposed to the greatest men and women of God in our generation with a revelation that I'm gonna share with you this morning.

  42. That changed my life.

  43. You know, the year before I got saved I was broke.

  44. I mean, I was so broke I couldn't pay attention and we lived off.

  45. Thank God I had a savings account.

  46. We had some money in a savings account because for a year before I got saved I sold zero houses.

  47. That meant my business had zero.

  48. Say I was a home builder.

  49. It's all about cash flow.

  50. Well, guess what?

  51. I had no cash and no flow of cash.

  52. All my cash flow was out of my savings account going out.

  53. And right before I got saved, I think we just had just a little bit left.

  54. I mean, it was hardly any left in that savings account.

  55. And out of that misery and out of that desperation, you know, god sent me a lifeboat and I got saved and the next year my tithe was greater than my income for the previous two years.

  56. My tithe, that's how much everything turned around and my words had to.

  57. You know, do you not like your world?

  58. Maybe the world you're living in is not so bright and cheery?

  59. Well then, change what you're saying about it.

  60. So that's the import of this message.

  61. Another, in the amplified verse three, the worlds were framed and fashioned, put in order and equipped for their intended purpose by the Word of God, so you could say that your life can be framed, fashioned, put in order.

  62. How many of you have got disorder in your life?

  63. Disorder in your finances, disorder in your home, disorder in your marriage, disorder in your family at large, maybe your siblings, maybe your parents, maybe you know your grandkids?

  64. I mean, there's disorder everywhere.

  65. There's more disorder now than ever before because we've been shut in, imposed.

  66. Our freedom has been scrapped.

  67. And through the fear and panic politics of fear and panic, you know they stole the playbook from the Communist Party.

  68. This is how they seized power in Cuba.

  69. This is how they seized power all the way back in Russia In the days of the Tsar.

  70. They just create the panic and the fear and people will just give their rights away.

  71. Please make the pain leave.

  72. I'll give you all the power.

  73. Just make the pain leave, make the sickness leave, make this leave, make the economic devastation leave.

  74. Well, it never works.

  75. It never has worked.

  76. It never will work.

  77. America has what it takes for it to work One nation under God.

  78. We need to get back under God, amen, anyway, so our world can be framed, fashioned, put in order and equipped for its intended purpose.

  79. God has an intended purpose for every one of you and every one of you watching.

  80. He has an intended purpose.

  81. You're not just going to be in the middle of the world.

  82. You're not just going to be in the middle of the world.

  83. You're not just an accident.

  84. Biden said America was an idea that never fulfilled its.

  85. Oh, what are you talking about?

  86. You don't know anything.

  87. Old man, just stay in the basement.

  88. He was talking about a winter of darkness.

  89. It's probably because he's in the basement and the snow has covered his windows and you can't see that Delaware anyway.

  90. So praise God Now.

  91. So in the Genesis account, when you go back and it hadn't been very long, but I guess a month ago I was in the book of Genesis, now I'm in the book of Exodus.

  92. I like to do that, but once a year I get through the Old Testament Takes me one year in my Bible reading and I don't have a timer, but it's just how, my rhythm of how I you know, and I at the same length of time in a year.

  93. I'll be through the New Testament three times in a year.

  94. So obviously I don't just read through the Bible from beginning to end.

  95. I like to read a systematic way and that way I feed my faith that way, and mainly on the New Testament.

  96. I've seen people just been too much time in the Old Testament and they get what I call bottom heavy.

  97. They kind of you know they get into the judgments of God, the punishments of God.

  98. Israel is a backslidden state and all of that and they get it affects what we have.

  99. We have a better covenant and found our better promises.

  100. So let's get in the New Testament mostly Read the Old Testament and so anyway, I've read the Genesis account recently and when you read the Genesis account of creation you see a pattern.

  101. Six days, god said, and God saw.

  102. God said let there be life.

  103. And then he said and God saw that it was good.

  104. And then God said and then God saw, god said and God saw.

  105. So we see.

  106. From that that sound becomes before sight, sound comes before sight.

  107. So if you ever want to see something different, you got to start making sounds in the direction of what you want to see, because what you see right now is a product of what you said up until now.

  108. Now, I know that's hard sometimes for people to hear that, but if you're experiencing anything, if you'd like, if your situation, your circumstances are not what you desire, check up on what you've been saying up till now, because you're gonna have to make a different sound.

  109. That's the way it is.

  110. This is the law of the Word of God.

  111. God's laws have God's Word has spiritual laws, just like our physical laws, like gravity and all of that.

  112. And I went to A&M and I graduated, believe it or not, with a bachelor's in mechanical engineering.

  113. So I've been educated in the scientific method.

  114. I'm very attuned to the physical laws of nature.

  115. I took physics, man, that was such a hard course for me.

  116. I think I made a D in physics.

  117. That's the only D in my entire life I've ever made.

  118. Anywhere was a D in physics at A&M.

  119. But you know I made as in engineering why?

  120. Because engineering was the illustration of physics.

  121. Physics was just pure, you know, just the pure science.

  122. I just had a hard time relating to it.

  123. But when I got into engineering, when I got into all of those problems to solve and all of that kind of thing, man, I mean, you know it was exciting, I liked it.

  124. But it's all about.

  125. It's not about theory, it's about facts, and God's Word has certain laws that have to be obeyed, or if you don't, it's to your peril.

  126. Right, yes, right, you know, brother Oral Roberts had a visitation from God back in July of 2004.

  127. I heard about it in August of 2004.

  128. I watched a couple of interviews on Christian television.

  129. I was unsatisfied with the way it was interviewed.

  130. It was obvious that they didn't know what they were doing.

  131. I'm sorry to say that they're preachers.

  132. They weren't interviewers.

  133. I've done a lot of interviewing, a whole lot of interviewing.

  134. I got kind of trained at interviewing.

  135. I got trained at asking questions.

  136. I got trained at praying and finding out from God what questions do you want me to ask this guest?

  137. And so Gladys and I hosted the local Praise the Lord show and the local celebration show For years and years and years.

  138. We had all kinds of guests and you know we had some great, great guests, awesome guests.

  139. I had to pray.

  140. Ok, god, what do I need to ask this person?

  141. And it was, I tell you, I feel the anointing when I do that.

  142. So when I went to see Brother Roberts, I prayed.

  143. What are the questions that I need to ask the man?

  144. And but one of the things he said to us in that interview that he didn't get to say in the other interviews he says God's people are cheating themselves.

  145. So when God gives us the means by which we can navigate in His kingdom and that's the word of God and he gives us, he gives us the raw material, he gives us the instruction booklet.

  146. And when we throw the instruction I know I'm the only one that throws the instruction booklet out you know you're going to put something together.

  147. You know I'm an engineer.

  148. What do you need?

  149. I don't need an instruction booklet.

  150. I can put this thing together for the kids, no problem.

  151. You know, two hours later, you know parts all over, I've got leftover parts.

  152. That's always a bad sign you put something, you put something together and you have leftover parts.

  153. Recently I had an old rocking chair we bought in Fredericksburg.

  154. As a matter of fact, we bought this rocking chair, in fact, and it's one of these old timey made out of twigs and sticks and stuff and it's real, real rustic looking and it was so comfortable, that rocking chair, and finally, after all these years it was sitting outside, you know, in the rain, and it finally just one day I sat down and it broke and so we had to haul it off.

  155. So I found online.

  156. Thank God for online, and I don't use Google, I use somebody else.

  157. Duck Duck Go is who I use, but anyway you can use whoever you want.

  158. I'm against Google, I want Google broken up, but Duck Duck Go is my search engine, so I go to Duck Duck Go.

  159. I don't know where they got the name, but anyway I found an Amish looking kind of a rocking chair and I thought that's the one and it was pretty expensive, kind of a lot more money than I spent in Fredericksburg, about three times more than what I spent.

  160. But that's been, you know, 20 years ago.

  161. So it comes in the mail in a box and I've got to put the thing together and this is made out of hickory and you know the holes are pre-drilled but I mean you still have to screw.

  162. And I started trying to do that with just a regular hand screwdriver and of course my hand cramped up with it.

  163. I had one screw halfway in there and I still got all these other parts to put on there.

  164. So I had to go buy a power driver, a cordless screwdriver, you know, like a gun, like thing, you know.

  165. And I started and I mean I worked.

  166. I mean my hand was cramped up, I was maxed out and I had to consult the instructions Because I mean it was a lot more complicated.

  167. I started off trying to think I could do it without the instructions and then pretty soon I figured out.

  168. I didn't know what I was doing.

  169. We have the instruction manual.

  170. We don't know how we've been made.

  171. God made every one of us.

  172. He made us in his image and in his likeness.

  173. He made us to do business the way he does with words.

  174. He gave us creative ability with our mouths.

  175. Sound comes before sight.

  176. If you're going to see it, you're going to have to make a sound, you're going to have to speak words.

  177. And so, in Mark 11, 23, a tremendous verse, jesus is illustrating what faith, bible faith, is.

  178. And he said whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass.

  179. He shall have whatsoever he saith.

  180. So, essentially, whosoever can have whatsoever.

  181. Think about the broadness of that verse of Scripture, and it's based on what we just got through reading Hebrews 11.

  182. Jesus is the one that was teaching his disciples the principle of Bible faith.

  183. He had come up to a fig tree and he was looking for figs.

  184. That had no fig tree, and that's an allegory of Israel.

  185. He came looking for fruit.

  186. Israel is the fig tree, joel, chapter 3.

    Joel 3 chapter mention

  187. And Israel had no figs.

  188. And so when he cursed the fig tree, he's cursing Israel.

  189. Israel was cursed because they rejected the Messiah.

  190. So there's more to these verses.

  191. Sometimes it makes a scratcher here.

  192. Why would Jesus get mad at a fig tree?

  193. Well, he wasn't.

  194. He was talking about Israel.

  195. But there was an actual fig tree.

  196. And what about that fig tree?

  197. Well, the next day, all the disciples heard there's no one, no man, eat fruit of thee from henceforth until forever.

  198. And so then, the next day, they came back by there and Peter says look, jesus, the fig tree that you cursed is dried up from the roots and they're saying, wow, they couldn't believe it.

  199. I mean, this thing is already dying, it's just tripled up overnight.

  200. And then Jesus said have the God kind of faith for whosoever shall say unto this mountain.

  201. So he is talking about number one.

  202. We're supposed to have the God kind of faith, number two here.

  203. It is the God kind of faith.

  204. Says something, believes it in their heart, and it comes to pass.

  205. That's Bible faith.

  206. You say something that you believe in your heart.

  207. You've got to believe it, but you have to say it.

  208. I said you have to say it.

  209. Faith is not enough.

  210. You've got to say what you believe.

  211. All right.

  212. So then one day Brother Hagin is out on the field ministry, he's preaching.

  213. He's been in the ministry for a number of years.

  214. He passed, you know, he pastored for 12 years and now he's on the field ministry going to other churches.

  215. So he's probably been in the ministry I don't know 15, 20 years, close to to it.

  216. Young preacher still.

  217. And he had prayed all afternoon in the church where he was preaching that night and he was tired, and so he laid down in the sanctuary on his back with his hands under his head like this, staring up at the ceiling, just prostrate like this, just on his back.

  218. And he heard a voice on the inside say have you ever noticed in Mark 11, 23 that it says believe one time and say or some version of say three times, boy, he got up and he said no, lord, I never did notice that.

  219. And he said well, he said my people are not missing it primarily on what they believe, but they're missing it primarily on what they're saying.

  220. And you're going to have to teach them three times as much on what to say as what to believe.

  221. And there was the birth of the true ministry of Kenneth E Hagin, the Word of Faith ministry.

  222. This is what you're hearing this morning.

  223. And it came out of that visitation.

  224. And God he said go and teach my people faith.

  225. It must be important.

  226. 12 out of 19 healing miracles in the New Testament mention the faith of the person.

  227. It must be important.

  228. So if faith is important, then words are important.

  229. What you say about something is important.

  230. So I've been saved 40 years in the ministry.

  231. You know 33 years and in my experience, a lot of people it's just like what God told Brother Hagin.

  232. I mean, people are not consistent on what they say.

  233. And so let's break it down.

  234. It says in Mark 11, 23,.

  235. It says whosoever shall say under this mountain, that word say is the Greek word epo.

  236. It means to say or to speak, or to command Whosoever say to this mountain, be thou removed, be thou cast in the sea, I'm not doubting his heart, got to believe it, believe in his heart that what he saith shall come to pass.

  237. That word, say it that second time.

  238. It says is the Greek word Lego, lego, my ego, l-a-g-o, lego.

  239. And that means a systematic discourse.

  240. It means saying it over and over again, consistently, saying, consistently, saying Are you with me now?

  241. Say one is a command, or to speak, or to say the other one is a systematic discourse.

  242. It's constantly saying it over and over, believing it in your heart, and then you shall have whatsoever.

  243. You epo, epo, lego, epo.

  244. Everybody say epo, lego, epo.

  245. Did you see?

  246. I just you're a Greek scholar.

  247. Now Praise God, greek scholar.

  248. But who would have ever thought, if you don't have a concordance, you don't study your Bible, you would have missed the significance of the word Say.

  249. You could be missing it by not being consistent.

  250. In consistency lies the power, therefore, in inconsistency lies the failure, cause people will try this.

  251. Oh man, this sounds like a good deal.

  252. I'm going to try this one.

  253. Trying is not what you can.

  254. You can't try it, you have to.

  255. You have to get it into your spirit and you have to do it.

  256. Are you?

  257. Are you with me now?

  258. So who's, whoever, should have whatsoever?

  259. Just think of that.

  260. Everybody said that includes me.

  261. I mean.

  262. Otherwise, bible lied.

  263. Do you think Jesus lied?

  264. No, you're included in this tremendous.

  265. I mean, just like gravity works, you don't have to think about gravity, you don't even think about it.

  266. I mean, you just, you're not worried when you walk down the sidewalk of floating away.

  267. You're not concerned about floating away.

  268. Your feet will let you know that you have not floated away.

  269. My feet, tell me all the time you're exerting a lot of pressure on us.

  270. I hate my aching feet.

  271. No, I don't hate them, but anyway, if you've seen that, that TV, I just I go by the titles.

  272. I never have watched it.

  273. I hate my aching feet.

  274. I hate my aching back.

  275. I well, I do too.

  276. I mean, I think God hates aching and that's why he sent Jesus to take all the aches.

  277. Amen, all right.

  278. So in Mark, chapter four.

  279. Let's look at Mark, chapter four.

  280. This is powerful.

  281. When I got ahold of these principles years and years and years ago, and I've lived by them or tried to live by them, I haven't always been successful, because everybody has to learn how to put these things to work.

  282. And again, the consistency.

  283. And if you never hear it, then you don't.

  284. You're not reminded, we let things slip sometimes.

  285. So in Mark, chapter four, jesus has just shared the parable of the sower, and he shared it with a group.

  286. He was on a boat.

  287. He barred Peter's boat.

  288. He's out in the water in the big old, huge crowd was up on the shore and he preached from the boat about the sower goes out to sow.

  289. And then, after he finished the sower, he went out to the boat.

  290. And and then, after he finished, they asked him.

  291. The disciple said what does this parable mean?

  292. He said well, it's.

  293. It's for you to know, not for them.

  294. They don't.

  295. They don't deserve to know because they're rejecting me.

  296. They don't deserve to know the secrets of my kingdom.

  297. They've rejected me.

  298. But to you who have ears to hear, let me tell you what it means.

  299. So he starts talking about the sower sows the word.

  300. So the word is seed.

  301. I said the word is seed.

  302. And so then he goes and talks about four kinds of dirt.

  303. He talks about four kinds of results.

  304. When, when people sow the word into their heart, there's four kinds of results, three of which are a crop failure.

  305. Read it for yourself, we're not going to go through the whole thing.

  306. And then the fourth one is success.

  307. And so then let's look, pick it up in verse 26.

  308. And he said Jesus said so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground.

  309. What is that seed?

  310. It's the word.

  311. Where is the ground?

  312. It's your heart.

  313. Okay, so the whole kingdom.

  314. He's about to show you how the kingdom operates.

  315. And let me tell you something when you try to operate from some other perspective than this one, you're going to fail.

  316. It's not about God not loving you.

  317. It's not about God holding anything back.

  318. It's not about, I mean, when you jump up and come back down, is it anything?

  319. Did you deserve to come back down?

  320. You know, I just came back down.

  321. I mean, did I deserve it?

  322. No, it's just a law, it's gravity.

  323. When you do this, it's a.

  324. It's a law.

  325. Now, whosoever shall have whatsoever, and then you don't do it.

  326. You won't.

  327. Amen.

  328. Oh, I tell you, it changed my life, changed my new ways of thinking, new ways of speaking.

  329. Glory to God For some of you.

  330. You just need to change what you're saying about this particular situation, need to be more consistent, and consistency lies the power.

  331. He, you know, whoever saith, when he saith, let go.

  332. Systematic discourse.

  333. So Mark 426, so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up.

  334. He knoweth not how.

  335. First the blade for the earth bringing forth fruit of herself.

  336. Your spirit, your spirit will bring forth the thing that you're saying.

  337. It's all in your spirit.

  338. Everything starts with your spirit, not your education, not your talent.

  339. It all happens in your spirit, where you believe God's Word.

  340. And then you've got to have a systematic discourse, you've got to constantly say that thing that you believe.

  341. Are you with me now For the earth bringing forth fruit of herself?

  342. First the blade, then the ear.

  343. See, there's indications, there's actions going on, there's something going on.

  344. It's not the final thing, but there's something, there's a stirring.

  345. There's something going on.

  346. First the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear, but when the fruit is brought forth, or when the fruit is ripe, immediately, he, who's the?

  347. He, god, jesus, no, the one who sowed the Word.

  348. You Did you sow the Word.

  349. Well, at some point it's gonna be ripe and you just put in that sickle and enjoy, start eating.

  350. Praise God.

  351. You can start eating the corn Immediately.

  352. He put it in the sickle, for the harvest is come or the harvest is ripe.

  353. I tell the story about years and years ago, before I was saved, we were living up in a little little little sub-vase called Shenandoah.

  354. Now Shenandoah is its own city.

  355. In fact, it was its own city.

  356. Back then, when we lived there, I bought a foreclosure from a lender that was lending me money from my houses and they had some deals on some houses that had been foreclosed.

  357. I picked this house up so cheap and glad as I moved in, we sold our house that I had built and then we moved up there and it had a big backyard.

  358. So I decided you know what, I'm gonna plant me a garden.

  359. I've always wanted it.

  360. So I, me, and I got me a.

  361. I turned up the soil, I hauled in dirt and I then I had it all out there and nobody told me.

  362. I didn't see.

  363. Again, I didn't read the instructions and I planted my cucumbers next to my watermelon.

  364. That's a big mistake.

  365. If you want sweet watermelon, then don't put cucumbers next to them, because your watermelon will be gigantic cucumbers, no sweetness whatsoever.

  366. And I had to have corn because corn on the cob I just love corn on the cob.

  367. I have a hard time.

  368. I get in such a hurry sometimes I eat the shuck and all I mean.

  369. It's just, you're just ready for the corn.

  370. So I planted, you know, three or four rows of corn and, man, it came up.

  371. It was, you talk about shoots upward and roots downward.

  372. And you know, first the blade, then the ear.

  373. The ears showed up and I have no idea when are they gonna get ripe, you know?

  374. And, and I kept waiting and they, they slowed down.

  375. You know they were here, the ears were, but they slowed down.

  376. It was a month or so and I thought, well, and there weren't a lot of them.

  377. So I finally said, okay, I'm gonna try one of these, you know.

  378. And I peed and it was, wouldn't be about eight inches long?

  379. That ought to tell me it wasn't ready.

  380. I pulled it off, I pulled the shuck back and it was green slime.

  381. I mean, threw that away.

  382. Okay, that's one down.

  383. I think I wound up with one ear of corn out of that by the time I figured out how, when, to figure out when it was ripe.

  384. You know, I kept, I kept being premature.

  385. Have you been premature?

  386. Did you not wait for it to come up?

  387. Amen, so this is how the kingdom works.

  388. If a man should cast seed into the ground, the seed is the Word of God, the ground is the heart or the spirit of man, and so the whole kingdom is based on words.

  389. Everybody say words.

  390. So when the seed is planted, it's not seen, it disappears, doesn't it?

  391. By definition?

  392. If it's planted properly, you can't see it.

  393. It's under the ground, just like what we were.

  394. You know, he never stops moving, he never stops working.

  395. Even when I don't see it, he's still working.

  396. He's still moving when I can't see it.

  397. See, that's the whole basis of the kingdom.

  398. That's how God operates.

  399. You're not gonna see him working until it's almost done.

  400. And if you're waiting to see something, it's proof that you, you know, then you're not, then you're doubting in your heart and doubt, doubt and do without.

  401. Are you with me?

  402. So?

  403. So things that are seen take their origin from the unseen right.

  404. So the seed is unseen, but everything you're waiting for and speaking about is unseen.

  405. But you see it with the eyes of faith and you're speaking about it as if it's a reality.

  406. Because it is reality?

  407. Because why?

  408. Because the word is reality.

  409. Is this helping anybody this morning?

  410. But if what you desire is not in your spirit, then you can forget it.

  411. You won't have it if it's not in your spirit.

  412. That's why you've got to sow it down into your heart.

  413. But the seed is what?

  414. Well, just any word.

  415. Pine the sky, word.

  416. What you made up in your carnal mind, word I'm gonna marry a millionaire oh, I believe he's my husband.

  417. See, that's just pine the sky.

  418. You don't have a word from God about that.

  419. That's not how things work, amen.

  420. So no, you have to.

  421. You have to hear from God about what it is that he's given you, that, your inheritance.

  422. Then you can start to believe it in your heart and speak it with your mouth.

  423. So Jesus, in the preceding number of verses, when he was preaching about the interpretation of the sower going out to sow, he said the sower sows the word.

  424. So the word is a seed.

  425. The word has to grow like a seed.

  426. It's not gonna be instant potatoes, it's not microwave jello, there's no such thing anyway.

  427. So Alright.

  428. So so you, you've got.

  429. Jesus said.

  430. The first incident is here's a guy who sowed, and he, the word came and he was standing by the wayside.

  431. Let's look at it, verse 15.

  432. These are they sown that by the wayside.

  433. When the word is sown, when they have heard, satan comes after a couple of weeks.

  434. No, when you're just standing around casually listening and not really giving yourself to hearing what is being said, whether it's in prayer or whether it's like this.

  435. You know I'm sowing the word into your heart right now and if you're wise, you would take what I'm saying and you say it too, because your spirit is more tuned to your voice than it is mine.

  436. You're the best preacher there is.

  437. I said you're the best preacher there is.

  438. Your spirit will listen to you quicker than anyone else, including me.

  439. I'm your pastor, but you know the best preacher is you, alright.

  440. So Jesus said in that case, satan comes immediately to steal that which was sown.

  441. This is laying, it's just laying on the surface.

  442. The seed never was put down.

  443. It was never.

  444. It was never covered over, it was not implanted into the spirit, it's laying on the top.

  445. The devil came immediately and stole the word and you get no results right.

  446. So that's the stolen word.

  447. Everybody say the stolen word, alright.

  448. Then verse 16, and these are they.

  449. Likewise sown on stony ground, who, having heard the word, immediately receive it, glad to say oh, glory to God, I'm healed.

  450. I'm healed, yes, I am hallelujah.

  451. And they get out, you know.

  452. And the first thing happens is they have a symptom that hits them.

  453. Ah, my feet, my feet, this stuff doesn't work Immediately there.

  454. What offended?

  455. Alright, you're not gonna get your healing, even though Jesus bought and paid for it, even though he sent it, and you first of all, you were rejoiced when you first heard it, but you didn't have it.

  456. He had all those rocks and stones in there.

  457. You need to clean that out, get ready to receive.

  458. So that's the scorched word.

  459. The heat of circumstances shines on that little tender plant.

  460. It was just barely growing, it had a little shoot upward, a little root downward.

  461. It had just come up, just saw the light of day, and then you got offended into it.

  462. The scorched word, stolen word.

  463. Everybody say stolen word, scorched word.

  464. And then the next one.

  465. These are they which are sown among thorns, such as here.

  466. The word and the cares of the world that a seafolness of riches, the lust of other things entering in chokes the word and it become unfruitful.

  467. So the same rain, the same diligence that brings forth the crop, brings forth the thorns, it brings forth the briars are you with me now?

  468. And so they're both growing together.

  469. And at some point in time, right before you get a crop, that all of these other things, wrong priorities you know I am in distractions, things that take you away from God's Word.

  470. God's Word ceases to be first.

  471. Now I also, all these other things happen.

  472. It become a fun, fruitful to me.

  473. That tells me that somebody even had a measure of Success for a little while and then it started going south.

  474. I Think that's the way most people are.

  475. I think they have a little success and then, when they had that success, they're not any longer Pressing in to get the best.

  476. Paul Paul said I'm reaching, you know, for getting the things which are behind and and reaching forth under those things which are ahead of me.

  477. I pressed toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God and Christ Jesus.

  478. In other words, like the runner stretches for the for the tape in the race.

  479. You know those guys that run in a hundred meter dash, you know you, you think, and some of fall, they stretch so much they try to break the tape ahead of the guy next to him because it's the race is over.

  480. Real quick 9.1 seconds and the race is over.

  481. So whoever just gets their nose and breaks the tape wins the race.

  482. And sometimes I've seen this, this Bolt guy from Jamaica, I think he's from or forgot where he's from.

  483. You sound bolt or what guys, faster than grease lightning, I saw him, I saw him fall.

  484. I mean he tumbled down that's track, I mean he, he had strawberries all over him and and so that they lose the intensity.

  485. And so that's the strangled word, the, the cares of this world of deceitfulness, of riches, the lust of other things, entering in chokes the word, it become a thun fruit for everybody, say the strangled word.

  486. So now you've got three, three issues, three situations where they got, had a crop failure, and then finally he said these are they that that hear the word and it's sewn on good ground and receive it and bring forth fruit, some 30, some 60, some 100.

  487. So even then there's variable success.

  488. Somebody said, well, gosh, I'm not getting a hundred fold.

  489. Well, hey, work on the soil a little bit more.

  490. Work on your, on your, on your confession.

  491. Be more consistent with what you're saying.

  492. You got to have a system at systematic discourse.

  493. Are you helping you today?

  494. And so that we call that the safeguarded word?

  495. The safeguarded word.

  496. I like what Luke 8 says, that that person in an honest and a good heart brings forth fruit with patience, in an honest and A good heart.

  497. See our spirit man.

  498. That's who we are, that's us.

  499. Our flesh is not us, our mind is not us.

  500. We're spirit beings and our spirits can grow and develop.

  501. Your faith can grow and develop.

  502. You're not gonna, you're not gonna, start climbing a ladder at the top rung.

  503. It wouldn't that be awkward.

  504. You've got a ladder.

  505. It's a 22 foot line.

  506. I friend of mine fell off of a 22 foot ladder.

  507. A guy that I went to Lakewood with and knew him for years and later he worked, did some work for me in West U and I was building and he made his living on ladders and he was a contractor.

  508. And he fell off of a 22 foot ladder and hit his head on the sidewalk.

  509. It took him months to die but he finally died and you know, but I know he knew about ladders and everything.

  510. But you don't start climbing a ladder at the top rung.

  511. You got to start where at the bottom, don't you?

  512. And Wouldn't it be better that you don't start on a 22 foot ladder?

  513. Maybe let's try a step ladder.

  514. You know one that goes up about that high, and once you, once you figure that out, you comfortable working on a step ladder, then maybe then you could get a six foot ladder and then maybe you can get an eight foot ladder and Then only then, if you're really brave, you get one of those aluminum ladders that leans up against the house.

  515. But I mean, people die.

  516. People die cleaning their gooders Because they don't understand the stability and listen God is.

  517. He loves you.

  518. You listen, he wants you to progress in an orderly fashion.

  519. I don't know who this is for, but don't, you can't get ahead of your faith.

  520. If you've never believed God For a headache to be healed, it's not likely that your faith alone is going to heal you of cancer.

  521. You're probably gonna need some medical intervention.

  522. Isn't it good that we have that available?

  523. It's just not either.

  524. Or we can trust God in every, every area that we Encounter, whether it's doctors or whether it's whatever we're doing.

  525. All right, so I've got three things here and these are very basic, because next week I want to get into a little more specific of things you can say and should be saying About yourself and about what you.

  526. I mean just general things that you ought to say all the time.

  527. I speak to myself all the time and I have certain times a day when I search to say certain things.

  528. See, that gets back to the consistency, that gets back to a systematic discourse.

  529. So usually when I climb in the shower, instead of just whistling and wasting my time, I start a whole series of confessions over my health.

  530. Thank you, lord, that my blood pressure is 120 over 80.

  531. My heart beats with a sinus rhythm through open blood vessels, free of obstructions and clots.

  532. Thank you, lord, that you know on and on and on.

  533. I just go right down the list of all of the.

  534. I talk about my pancreas, I talk about my kidneys.

  535. I talk about my heart beats with a sinus rhythm Through open blood vessels.

  536. You know from somebody's had a triple bypass that I don't want to have another one of those.

  537. I'm speaking to my heart all the time, speaking every night before I go to bed.

  538. I'm speaking to my heart, speaking to my, my rhythm of my heart.

  539. I'm speaking to my sinuses.

  540. I'm speaking to my lungs.

  541. I'm speaking to my vocal cords.

  542. I'm speaking my inner ear, my outer ear, my, you know all of that.

  543. I'm speaking to my.

  544. I'm speaking to every other person.

  545. You know all of that.

  546. I'm speaking to my.

  547. I'm speaking to everything back, spine, spine cord, vertebrae, disc muscles, nerves I have it all in my heart.

  548. It just comes out of me Just all at once.

  549. And so in two minutes I've covered my entire body from top to bottom.

  550. Why would you do that?

  551. Because it's part of me speaking what I believe Enforcing the borders.

  552. Amen, are y'all with me?

  553. All right, so we'll talk more about that next week, but today I wanted to get three things that you can build your world with your words, and the first one I wanted to say about is be a person of your word.

  554. Be a person of your word.

  555. You heard me say this recently my word is my bond.

  556. My dad said that, and people of that generation tended to do business on handshakes.

  557. People of that generation tended not to litigate anything.

  558. They tended to solve their differences one on one and now we're in a very litigious society.

  559. We sue at the drop of a hat Pretty much have to now the way it is.

  560. But you're sitting in a church that came its origins came from a handshake between me and a businessman.

  561. That's not even saying.

  562. As far as I know, he's still not saying.

  563. Talked to him not too long ago.

  564. We still talk every great once in a while.

  565. He'll call me See how we're doing.

  566. Curious about the land next door.

  567. He wanted to know about that tree.

  568. I want to make sure we didn't chop that tree down.

  569. I said no, but I said it.

  570. It fell into its two trees.

  571. What I said?

  572. Yeah, it was two trees, not one tree.

  573. Harvey exposed it.

  574. Oh really.

  575. I said, yeah, it's still beautiful, they're gonna.

  576. They're gonna save it.

  577. But anyway, he and I shook hands on a real estate option.

  578. He offered to sell me the property which is now Champions Crossings subdivision, 92.7 acres.

  579. He offered me to sell me that property.

  580. We weren't able to sell it or to buy it, yet he gave me a price.

  581. I'll sell it to you.

  582. Owner, finance it, nothing down.

  583. I'll suspend payments for as long as you know.

  584. I mean we could have just bought it.

  585. I just didn't have peace to do it yet.

  586. I said, look, I can't pull the trigger yet, but I would like to get an option.

  587. How much would you charge me for an option to buy this property?

  588. Put me in first in line.

  589. He held out his hands, shake my hand.

  590. Now those of you that are real estate.

  591. An option is expensive.

  592. Usually, buying an option, you're gonna pay some money for it and that means I had first ride a refusal.

  593. He, he sells the property, he gets an offer on it and then I get to have first ride a refusal and I can either buy it at that price or not.

  594. But I'm first in line.

  595. And he just said shake my hand.

  596. So we shook hands in 1996.

  597. And through a series of transactions you're sitting in a church that was a result of a handshake.

  598. I had to be willing to perform my word and he had to be willing to perform his word, which ultimately he did.

  599. I said ultimately, he performed his word and I and I performed my word.

  600. You know we need to learn how to swear to our own hurt and change, not Sometimes in order for us to back up what we say.

  601. It might cost us, it might be expensive, but how much is your word worth?

  602. And I found that when people are not people of their word, if you can't depend on them to do what they say, then it's going to affect their faith because they they somehow that leaks over and they they don't quite trust God like they should or could, because they know they don't really honor their word and they wonder if God is kind of like they are.

  603. Well, I can tell you a hundred percent no, he's not like you.

  604. You need to change, you need to develop your integrity, amen.

  605. So be a person of your word.

  606. Numbers twenty three nineteen God is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent.

  607. If he said it, he will do it.

  608. If he spoke it, he'll make it good.

  609. That's the way we ought to be.

  610. Swear to our own hurt and change, not.

  611. Psalm fifteen four so be a person of your word.

  612. Number two be a person of the word.

  613. Be a person of the word, the word of God, because that's mainly what you're going to be sowing into your heart the word of God.

  614. Give it first priority.

  615. This is where people have a crop failure many times is the word loses its priority in their life and they feel like, well, I read that already, I don't need, I don't have time to read my Bible.

  616. Well then, you don't have time to have success.

  617. I can't tell you how many times I've been reading my Bible and off the pages of the Bible comes a word, a Ramah word, that I wasn't even thinking about.

  618. That hits me and I realized it's God telling me just from what I'm reading.

  619. It just comes off the page.

  620. That's a Ramah.

  621. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Ramah of God.

  622. The Ramah of God is the God breath word.

  623. That's what faith.

  624. Faith is not the logos, faith is the Ramah Amen.

  625. Are y'all with me now?

  626. Meditate on the word, read the word in Christ.

  627. All of the in the, in the epistles is where we ought to spend most of our time and we ought to underline in our Bible where it says in Christ, in whom, in him, through whom.

  628. All of those words, because we're in Christ, and so that applies to us.

  629. I just like what brother, brother Osteen, used to do all those years going to Lakewood 15 years going to Lakewood, and, and.

  630. And then the latter part when we are the first part when we had two services.

  631. On Sunday morning we had the 830 and the 11.

  632. Gladys and I go to every service.

  633. We'd go to two services on Sunday morning, go home, come back Sunday night.

  634. So on Sunday we had three services that we were in and then on Wednesday night sometimes I would leave Gladys and the kids at home because they had at home work so they couldn't always go Wednesday night, but I always went Wednesday night.

  635. Sometimes Gladys had come with me to leave the kid.

  636. When the kids got older they'd stay home.

  637. Sometimes they'd come.

  638. But that's a lot of services where he would, okay, pick up your Bibles, wave it around.

  639. This is my Bible, I am who it says, I am, I have what it says, I have, I can do.

  640. I'm a can do person.

  641. I can do what it says I can do.

  642. I mean you say that a thousand times and you become Superman, you become, you start to just change on the inside.

  643. You're not bragging, you're saying what the word says, systematic discourse.

  644. So be a person of the word.

  645. And then finally, be a person of prayer, because I, when I pray, I have my Bible open in my lap.

  646. I mean I pray with the Bible, I read my Bible and I pray.

  647. I just do it all.

  648. I'm in contact because why?

  649. Because this is his, this is his love letter to me, especially when I'm in the epistles.

  650. Those are, those are written specifically to me.

  651. Now, all the Bible is for me, but not all the Bible is to me.

  652. Some of it is exclusive to heathens, some of it is exclusive to Jews, but the epistles are exclusive to the new, new creature, to the believer, amen.

  653. And so when I read something in the epistles, I know it's me, I know it's mine, it's for me.

  654. No, no question about it.

  655. And so prayer is a dialogue.

  656. It's.

  657. It's not about you giving a laundry list of what you need, it's.

  658. It's.

  659. It's talking to the Lord and mainly pray, praising him and magnifying him.

  660. I just want a way to pray.

  661. In Galveston on Thursday, came back Friday and I can't say that I heard any great revelations.

  662. Sometimes I've gone and had the most amazing revelations, visitations.

  663. I wasn't going for that purpose.

  664. I was going because I just said God, I'm drawing near to you and you draw near to me.

  665. That's all I wanted to.

  666. That's what it'd be.

  667. I want to be close, and it had been a long time since I'd gone to Galveston because of all this COVID stuff and our schedules are a lot more compressed now, it's harder for me to get loose.

  668. And so I finally said look, I'm, I'm going on Thursday.

  669. So that's what I did and I came back.

  670. I didn't have any big revelation hit me, it's just that I spent time with the Lord.

  671. I processed the plan of God.

  672. I prayed much in other times.

  673. Praise God.

  674. It's not always about, sometimes, the way our society is, we feel like we've got to hear something every time we hang out with God.

  675. Well, you know, we don't have to hear something.

  676. We've got something already.

  677. Are you with me now?

  678. Prayer is a dialogue.

  679. Talk to God, praise him, magnify him and then listen to God.

  680. The word is his love letter to you.

  681. Build your world with your words.

  682. Come on, lift your hands and receive today.

  683. Praise God.

  684. Did you get anything out of this?

  685. Well, come on, let's rejoice a little bit here and let's thank God.

  686. Now I want to get more specific next week about some of the things that you can say to yourself more specifically.

  687. I touched on it a little this morning, but we'll spend some time.

  688. Why am we doing this?

  689. Because this is your greatest year yet and you're not going to see it until you say it Words.

  690. You know, sound comes from the foresight.

  691. Just a simple little thing.

  692. Sound, everybody say sound comes from the foresight.

  693. So you're going to have to start making some different sounds.

  694. Amen.

  695. If you haven't seen it yet and maybe you are talking right, that's good.

  696. Then it's just a check up, a little check up.

  697. Amen, praise God, let's lift our hands.

  698. Father, we thank you for the word of God.

  699. We thank you that we depend on you.

  700. We know that you told us the truth and we cling to you in these days, lord, in a world filled with deception, we know that we can come to the Word of God and get the truth.

  701. The spirit of truth reveals the truth to us and the church is the pillar and ground of the truth and we can depend on the truth leading us in these days.
