Join The Resistance

Let's wave our Bibles around, make Jesus glad and the devil, frustrated, angry, troubled, amen.

And let's say this together say, heavenly Father, we're so glad to be here this morning.

In your presence is fullness, and out of the Word of God, illuminated to me by the Holy Ghost, I will receive strength.

I say I'm strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and I'm able to rule and reign on this earth because of Jesus.

In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

We got three places for you to turn to today James, chapter four, and also first Peter five all of it's in the New Testament, by the way and Ephesians six.

We'll start with James four, very familiar verse of scripture.

And James says to the church submit yourself, therefore, unto God.

Resist the devil and he will beat you to a bloody pulp.

No, he will flee from you.

The word flee there means to flee, as in terror, everybody say resist, all right.

And then first Peter five.

We talked a little bit about this verse last week If you weren't here, be sure and get the media on that.

We talked about establishing true justice through faith, just like the early church did they.

They atrap, not just false justice, not this flaky justice like environmental.

What in the world is environmental justice?

Justice for the horned frog?

Anyway, no.

And so, in first Peter, five, eight, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary and who is that?

The devil as a roaring land.

He's not a lion, he's as a roaring land.

Walk at the bow.

He's too broke to afford a car.

Walk at the bow seeking whom he may devour.

Whom resist?

Everybody shout, resist, resist, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren in the world.

And then the last one Ephesians, chapter six, verse 10.

Finally, my brother, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against or to resist the wiles of the devil the word wiles there is.

Military strategies, everybody shout, resist.

And then just have a simple message entitled join the resistance.

Come on, join the resistance.

Let's not get along, go along to get along.

Now it's time for the church to rise up and rule and reign the way we're supposed to.

And you know, it's kind of apropos that this message is here on December the sixth.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of December the seventh, 1941, when our nation was attacked by the empire of Japan and opened for us World War II.

The war had already begun and if you'll go back in history I mean I like World War II it goes back to a movie I saw when I was in high school.

I was just a sophomore in high school.

We all went to the Rialto Theater as a class, our history class Mr Stauncho Alvin Stauncho he was a Lutheran guy, a good guy ran into him not that long ago.

He still hangs around with you after all these years.

He's an old guy, now older, but he was a young teacher and he taught me a lot about civics.

That's back when kids learned about civics.

They learned about history, I mean world history, american history.

Under him I think he taught me three years, but anyway, we went to the longest day.

I remember that old movie.

All the movie stars were in the longest day.

It was the story of the Normandy invasion and in that movie it pictures the French resistance.

They're listening to the radio and they're listening to their code message.

And then there was a team of the French resistances.

These were people that were in France after the Nazis had taken France, taken Paris, and they were resisting the Nazis behind the scenes and they went out to blow up the railroad and they had to risk their lives and it shows that in the movie.

So from that movie it kinda opened my understanding and I was attracted to World War II.

I liked to study about that war because it was a tremendous war and we were late to the party, if you wanna call it a party because the country was mired in this idea that the oceans protected us and we didn't want to get involved in another foreign war World War I was terrible.

We lost a lot of young men and then we had the Spanish flu right after.

That Killed a lot of people, and so they just didn't and they brought that back, you know, over, you know, on the boats and all of that brought it back to our nation.

And so people, you know they were isolationists, they wanted to deny.

There's a lot in the church, there's a lot of pastors right now, and maybe you're some one of your deacons is sending you this message.

Well, why don't you wake up?

Why are you depending on your members to try to wake you?

Why don't you wake up?

We have lots of people coming to this church now because they just got tired of their pastors being asleep and not saying anything.

I talk to them almost every week.

They come to this church and they're frustrated, they're angry because they didn't leave their church.

Their church left them.

That's right.

I was talking to a gentleman a couple of weeks ago whose pastor got up and said you know, you're all guilty of racism.

You've got systemic racism.

See, they drank the Kool-Aid of the Black Lives Matter movement, which is a communist organization.

Quit saying Marxist, it's communism.

They don't care about black, they can care.

Listen, you'll be the first ones to get shot if they ever got their way and took over.

The next group would be the homosexuals.

They'd all get shot.

I mean, look at Cuba.

You can't be a homosexual in Cuba.

You can't be a homosexual in communist China.

These people are nuts to join with Marxists and communists for anything, because there's only one thing that you can be and that's a communist.

They kill everybody else by the millions.

I learned that when I was a sophomore in high school.

What are your kids learning?

They're probably not learning that.

But anyway, there was resistance.

In every war there are members of the resistance.

Everybody say I'm a part of the resistance, isn't it the same?

We have to have a resistance.

But you know why we have to have a resistance?

Because we are in a war and we better not be asleep.

We better not be in denial like we were in World War II.

They were in denial.

It was almost too late by the time we got awakened, and the only reason was God lifted his hand of protection off of this country.

Enough, you mean God killed those soldiers?

No, he didn't have anything to do with the death.

He could not protect the nation because we drifted away from our purpose.

That's right, I don't.

You know.

There's no other nation that needs to be a superpower besides America.

America is the only nation on the face of the earth that's qualified to be a superpower.

And these idiots like Joe Biden and all the Democrats, the left wing, they don't think that they want us to be part of a global deal, and you and I are gonna become irrelevant.

You think we're non-essential?

Now Listen, we will be at the bottom of the essential list.

We'll be at the bottom of the list of getting medical treatment.

We'll be at the bottom of the list of getting anything done for us.

Pastry is just so.

I came to be encouraged.

I am encouraging you.

We're ruling and reigning.

We're part of the resistance.

We're awake, we know what's going on.

We don't have to have anybody kick us and wake us up.

We're awake.

All we wanna know is what to do.

Well, I'm gonna give you some things to do, right, ben?

But even in the Revolutionary War we had resistance.

They didn't just bend over and let the greatest military might on the earth at that time rule and reign over these hunters and shop keepers, I mean basically America.

We just had a bunch of.

We didn't have any professional soldiers, we didn't have anybody that was equal to the British Empire.

Are you kidding?

Endless supplies of money end in the supplies of ships and men and weapons sophisticated weapons for that day.

And here we had squirrel rifles.

One thing about the colonists is that they were cracked shots.

I mean, if you can hit a squirrel in the top of a tree at 50 yards with one of these old muskets, with a little old shot about half inch in diameter, you gotta be a pretty good shot, you know.

And they proved to be really good shots.

But there was resistance and we live in this world as under the influence of the devil and demon powers.

That's what's going on here.

Yes, that's right.

These people saw an opening of the population of this country being somewhat asleep and somewhat, and mainly, I lay that at the feet of the pastors.

I'm sorry, right, they're not energizing their congregations.

They're still not, not to the degree that needs to happen.

If you're listening to me and you're a member of a church that hasn't anything to say about this, get out of there now.

Get out, leave that place, wipe the dust off of your shoes and get to a church like this.

There aren't some churches like this.

Get there.

There's plenty of churches like this.

You need to be under a pastor that's awake, not somebody that's brain dead.

That's gonna tell you that you're racist.

So join the resistance.

We have to resist the unseen forces.

The by gave you three verses.

It says we should resist these unseen.

Oh.

But, pastor, we need to obey the government.

Well, we're the government.

This is not like any kingdom that the Bible is talking about.

In the Bible, they had kingdoms and you were supposed to serve the king, even if he was mean.

But we're the government.

God created a wonderful nation, built on the word of God, built.

We just sang two songs about that.

Did you hear the songs we sang?

My soul magnifies the Lord, wonderful counselor.

That's out of Isaiah eight or nine.

The government's upon his shoulders.

We're his shoulders.

What an amazing country.

We are Never been another country like it in history, where the people rule.

Where did that come from?

There's a group of Puritans and people that got tired of the high church ruling and reigning over them and telling them how to worship and telling them what not to do and taxing them.

Boy, talk about taxes.

We've got these Democrats.

They want to tax you into oblivion.

So join the resistance.

Let's define what it means to resist.

Resistance defined, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna give you some words in here that you hadn't considered.

And so resistance means number one, to stand against.

Yeah, I can get.

That Means to withstand.

It means to act in opposition.

Yeah, that's kind of evident.

But there's two ways that you can do that.

First of all, passively.

You can have passive resistance.

What do I mean by passive resistance?

How about a dam?

They go dam.

Let's think about the Hoover Dam.

It's backed up what the Colorado River.

So the Hoover Dam has been built.

During the Depression Lots of men died on that thing like 100, and some odd men died building that dam.

And what does it do?

Does it do anything?

No, it just stands there day and night, night and day, year after year, decade after decade.

And what does it do?

It stops the flow of the river and makes it go down, down, down, and it lets a little bit of water down at the base and it turns some turbines and it provides electricity for a whole lot of the western part of the country.

So they turn the power of that river Before that dam.

That river could flood and it could ruin people, it could ruin houses.

I mean they'd have flash floods.

If you've ever been like in the Hill Country, I've lived long enough to see flash floods that hit the Hill Country and just take a whole communities out.

I remember back in the 70s there was a flash flood along the.

What river was that Was right by the huh.

No, it was another one, it was the one over from the Guadalupe.

But Guadalupe has had floods too.

But this river, I went through that canyon, it's not Sabanel Canyon, it was the next canyon over, can't remember.

No, not the Frio.

Medina, medina, the Medina River is a creek.

River is too big a word for that thing.

That's a creek.

But that thing turned into a raging torrent and I saw all the houses washed off of their foundations.

I saw these huge cypress trees.

You know, then, in that country they have cypress trees.

These cypress trees are bigger than your car in diameter and they're all stacked up on the road.

And some of these artists, they were coming in there and they were cutting those cypress trees up and turning it into the lumber, turning it into artists and all that.

But the poor people that lived on that river for 100 years, they'd never had a flood like that.

And so what did dams do?

Dams control nature.

It's passive resistance.

Everybody say passive resistance.

And then, of course, the second thing is active resistance.

You have to actively, like an army, encountering and defeating an enemy.

In other words, you can't just sit on your haunches.

Sometimes you've got to get up, arm yourself and go after the enemy and kill him before he kills you, like the famous speech that General Patton gave to his armies.

He said you're not here to die for your country, you're here to make that other dumb guy over here die for his country.

That's what war is.

War is defeating the enemy.

Well, I thought the devil was defeated.

Yeah, and that's the point.

He's been defeated.

Why are we bowing down to him.

Why are we letting him dictate what this country believes and doesn't believe?

No, we're resisting, both passively and actively, amen.

Well, let's get some more definitions here.

You get anything out of this?

Well, you come to church to get stirred up.

Action.

Book of Acts was written because men and women acted.

They didn't just not.

All of it is passive, and so resist means to strive against, to endeavor, to counteract, to defeat or to frustrate, to frustrate.

When I see that last one, I think about Stephen, who went and preached and he did great wonders and miracles among the people.

And here he was, in usher, and he went out to preach to the same group that rejected Jesus, the same group, a bunch of Jews.

They'd all lived through the crucifixion.

They were some of the ones who said crucify him, crucify him.

That's the group he went to preach to.

And he went to preach and he preached, and he preached a long message.

He went through the whole history of Israel and went through Moses and Abraham and all that, and then he got to the very end.

You'll read it there in Acts, chapter seven.

He said oh you, uncircumcised of heart and ears, you do always frustrate the grace of God, man.

I mean.

You know.

So they were part of the resistance to the gospel.

They were frustrating the grace of God.

They were frustrating the gospel.

They were standing in the way.

He called them out on it and they hated him.

They stoned him to death right there on the spot.

They didn't have a hearing, they didn't have a tribunal.

They just killed him right there on the spot and nobody protested.

Nobody protested.

Months later, whoa, we're gonna have a day dedicated to Steve.

No, crazy, it means to baffle or to disappoint.

To baffle or to disappoint.

Like James 4-6, god resists the proud.

See, we talked about.

Submit yourself, therefore, to God.

Resists the devil, he will flee the verse before that.

God resists the proud.

He baffles them, he disappoints them.

We're on the side of God.

I'm ready here.

I'm here to baffle people like Joe Biden.

I'm here to baffle people like the left wing of the Democrat Party.

I'm here to baffle these people that cheat and commit fraud and elections and disappoint them.

There's gonna be a whole lot of sad singing and disappointment.

There might even be some rioting and looting, but I pray that we will have the guts to shut it down instantly, instead of the way it's been in the last year.

No, they're not gonna like it.

That's just too bad.

Let them, you know, america, love it or leave it.

That's the way I feel about it.

But God resists the proud he.

You know Proverbs 14, it says you know, the fear of the Lord is to hate, evil and also pride, arrogance and the evil way that fits the left wing perfectly.

Pride they think they're the only ones that are the.

They think they're the smartest in the room.

Always.

They think their ideas are the only ones.

And if you've got a different idea, you're a racist, you're un-American, you're this, you're that.

No, it's them, it's them.

I said it's them.

We're gonna have to just develop thicker skin.

Yeah, we can still have a tender heart and have thick, thick, thick skin.

Over the years my skin has gotten so thick and that's the reason I look so funny sometimes.

If the devil is walking about and he is the Bible says he's walking about as a roaring lion.

You know, lions don't roar until after they've killed somebody, once they've killed their prey, not somebody, but once they've killed their prey and they're about to eat.

That's when they go.

Wow.

So the devil is so full of pride that he's hollering before anything has happened, thinking he's gonna intimidate us?

Well, he doesn't intimidate us.

No, we know what he's up to.

And so if he is walking about, then we are the opposing tide.

We are the ones that are saying, ah, you ain't coming here this far and no further.

In fact, you're gonna turn yourself around and get back.

You're gonna move them back.

I said we're gonna move them back.

And if the enemy is tired of getting confronted head on, well then they try to go around the edges and flank us.

No, then we'll run over there and cut them off.

Why?

Because we're fully awake and we're fully in prayer, and prayer alerts us to every.

I just go back.

I go back, you know, to that king.

One time he was so frustrated the king of Syria, I mean, he couldn't get anything done.

Every time he'd send a war party out.

The Israelites were there to answer and he thought he had spies and he said oh, no, king, no spies.

It's just that every time you utter anything in your bed chamber, the prophet over there, elijah in Israel, hears about it and tells them See, I'm telling you, we are hearing from God, we know what the enemy is trying to do and we're gonna get there and oppose him before he ever gets there.

Some of you are looking at me like what is he saying I'm supposed to do?

Well, that's up to you, between you and God.

But I know one thing I am not gonna be ruled by communism under any way, shape or circumstance, and I'm not gonna sit here and roll over for them.

I'm not gonna sit around here and twiddle my thumbs and say, you know, twinkle, twinkle little star, amen.

I mean, this nation has risen against enemies where fixedness had this.

What is it?

The 79th anniversary of December the 7th?

Let's see, I bet you, the Houston Chronicle doesn't even mention it.

See, have you noticed how it's just less and less?

Now they don't even talk about World War II.

They don't wanna talk about the past.

No, they wanna go all the way back and say the 1619 project, which is lies, that's a whole.

If you ever hear about that.

And your corporation, the complacency, the place you work, is trying to get you into one of these seminars where they're trying to enlighten you.

Just run the other way.

It's just garbage, it's wrong, it's based on lies.

No, we have the truth.

I know exactly what happened in 1620.

It wasn't 1619.

In fact, slaves didn't get to this country till 75 years after the Puritans.

So they didn't bring slavery and slavery existed in the British Empire.

It's the British that brought slavery to America.

See, their whole premise is wrong.

It's a lie and they know it's a lie.

That's the thing you gotta understand.

They lie on purpose.

We better wise up, not let our kids be taken down this road.

Join the resistance, make the devil miserable, right, scott?

I mean opposes every move, both actively and passively.

Right, come on, let's lift our hand.

Lord, we thank you that we're strong in the Lord and the power of his might and we can do all things through Christ.

He's strengthening us up.

Here's one thing I know If the church says, no, this thing is dead on arrival, this whole fall selection is DOA.

If the church rises up and it's not over till it's over and it's not over, it's not even over in a couple of weeks, it's not even over when we can set aside.

We've already done this before.

We don't have to put up with them meeting in the electoral college yet we can say, oh no, this whole thing is crooked, crooked, crooked, stinks to high heaven and we're not gonna allow it to go forward.

And if the president gets up and says that who's gonna have to support him?

We are.

We're gonna have to support that decision, because everyone else is gonna be against that decision, aren't they?

We already know what Facebook is gonna do and YouTube.

They have absolutely stuck their big ol' Harry thumb on the scale and they have suppressed our voting, they suppressed the knowledge of all this garbage that's going on.

They won't allow it to be on there.

We've got a lot to handle here, but the first thing, that first order of business, is taking care of the president, making sure he stays in the White House and never, ever, never, ever concedes the election to these criminals, never, never.

And we're gonna have to support that and I know what I'm saying because that's gonna bring some heat on us.

Are you willing to have some heat on you?

Because it's gonna take us enduring a little heat in the meantime in order to not be ruled by a bunch of crazies.

All through the New Testament, the church is set against the devil and his actions.

So let's look at Luke, chapter 10.

Luke 10 · chapter mention

This is so good.

Right here, jesus has sent out the 70 into the highways and byways.

He gave them power.

And let's read what he tells them, what he said?

He said verse 19,.

Luke 10, 19.

This is to the 70 disciples.

And he said behold, luke 10, 19,.

I give unto you power.

That word power is the Greek word exuccio, which means authority.

Everybody say authority.

So behold, I give unto you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy.

That word power is the Greek word dunamis, which means supernatural power.

How many of you know they didn't go out stepping on snakes and scorpions that these are just other words for demon powers.

Are you with me now?

So what did Jesus say?

Jesus said I gave you authority to act over the supernatural power of demons, over all the power, over all the supernatural power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The devil wants to intimidate.

That's why he roars.

He's trying to intimidate the church right now.

No meetings until I say so.

Governor Cuomo said.

Mayor Garcetti, no Christmas celebrations.

You can't meet with your family.

Well, buddy boy, we're gonna have a party right out here next Sunday night.

Now, that thing, you can do about it.

You don't like it?

Lump it.

See, if you're big enough to stop us, just try, cause we're gonna have Christmas with our families.

We had Thanksgiving with our families.

We're gonna have Christmas with our families.

We're gonna celebrate Jesus every way that we say that we're going to.

Well, you just got a super spreader event, that's all you're doing.

Yeah, that's right, it's a super spreader event.

We're spreading the gospel, we're spreading goodwill, we're spreading the Holy Ghost.

Praise God, so we have authority over all his supernatural power.

Now listen to what authority means.

Authority means privilege, force, capacity, competency.

See, that's another thing the left wing wants to do.

They just make us, they make us out to be incompetent.

Oh, that Trump.

He's just ahead of a cult.

He's so stupid.

Oh, I could stand if I hate his guts and everybody that voted for him.

They're terrible, they're just incompetent.

No, no, they're the ones that are incompetent.

Meathead wouldn't be able to add two plus two and get four.

And they quote him all the time.

You know all these actors.

They're so they're those stupid ones.

They've never gone to college.

They've never gone.

They've never been trained to anything except be face.

They play other people, but really they just play themselves.

If you watch these movies, they're all the same.

The Nero is the same character all the way through the Godfather, all the way.

For 50 years he's been playing the same character, like he's a big tough guy and he's about five foot six.

He's a weenie, not that it matters, but you get tired of all of this garbage.

So it means competency, strength, mastery, influence, jurisdiction oh, I like that word, that's a ruling word Jurisdiction.

We have jurisdiction over all the supernatural power of the enemy.

They have power.

They have demonic powers that have given them the ideas to know how to cheat.

And I'm not gonna turn this message into all the examples that I've become aware of, but I've got more information than you've got time to listen, and some is just.

I got an article one of our consultants emailed me the other day and I'm not even qualified to read it.

I mean it's written by a statistician and I mean I never took statistics, but I mean they made the case about how it was impossible for this to happen, except that it was massive cheating.

They had to cheat on such a high level, they left all, and that's what the Holy Ghost told me the very next day.

The next morning, in prayer, god said they cheated in such a massive fashion that they've left evidence everywhere.

And what do you hear all the time?

Oh, there's no evidence.

Yeah, there's a pile of evidence.

I've seen all the evidence.

I need to come against these people.

I heard an interview on a and I won't name the name because I didn't watch the entire thing, but he's a three star general and he's very, very high up.

In his past he was a Vietnam pilot 400 sorties and a big head of different NORAD and stuff like that.

But he said you know, he's advising the president every way that he can to declare martial law and have military tribunals and let's try all of these people as traitors.

Yeah, yes, yes.

I like that idea.

I think that idea has got some merit.

I don't know if he'll go that far or not.

I really don't know.

I think our president is gonna do whatever it takes.

Yes, and are we prepared to stand with him in the decisions that he has to make in the short term?

Pastor, you're just speaking.

Well, this is time for some plain speaking.

What is the other side doing?

Lying Day and night?

Where's the truth right here?

Here's the truth.

Amen.

Are y'all getting this now?

So I'm still talking about the definition of authority.

Listen to this one the power of choice to do as one pleases.

The power of choice to do as one pleases.

What that's authority?

That's the authority that was given to us All, authority in heaven and earth, matthew 27,.

Jesus said it.

All authority in heaven and earth has been given unto me.

Go ye.

Therefore, anything that stands in your way to accomplish your mission, you get it out of the way, you pick it up and throw it aside.

That's what means taking up serpents.

It's not talking about snake handling churches.

It's talking about getting rid of demon powers.

It's talking about casting out demons.

It's not getting people to puke into a plastic bag.

Casting out demons is not necessarily casting a demon out of a human although that is included but it is getting rid of resistance to the mission that the church has.

So authority is the power of choice, to do as one pleases, which is exactly why the Puritans came here and they made the Mayflower Compact in kind of a mirror image of Israel's covenant with God for the land covenant.

It's very similar.

The power of rule or government.

That's the last one I'll share with you.

The power, in other words the authority, in the Bible means the power of rule or government.

So that's exactly what.

America is the only example of that on the face of the earth.

There's no other nation like this.

That's why we cannot let these people steal our government, because we are the government.

We say no to their little tricks.

We say no to their lies.

We say no to their machines.

We say no to their way that they counted the votes.

They cheated in every way possible and we know they did.

They bragged that they were going to.

That's how arrogant they are.

They told us what they were going to do and Double Dog dared us to do anything, because they've yet over underestimated Trump and they sure have underestimated the church.

Come on roll, are y'all with me?

Now we're saying some kind of woo, it's a live stream birthday.

Well, it is now.

I don't know how long it'll be.

I'm going to hurry up and get it.

I'm not trying to get off, but I have to tell you the truth, as I see it.

In Mark, chapter 16, he said Going to all the world, preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16 · chapter mention

He that believeth and baptized shall be saved.

He that believeth not shall be damned, and these signs shall follow them.

That believe they shall.

Number one on the list cast out demons.

That's what we ought to be doing right now casting the demons out of this country.

They are invaders.

They are not American.

Their ideals are not Christian.

They don't match up with our bill of rights and our constitution.

They are unconstitutional.

They are satanic squatters.

They're the demonic Democrats.

You can call them the demonic Democrats, that's fine.

Heal the sick.

That's how merciful God is.

He didn't say heal the Christian sick, heal the sick.

That have got it all together.

They're nice people.

No, the sick, that means everything.

Everybody I mean everybody's eligible to be healed by this wonderful Jesus.

The church is here to heal the sick.

Talk about healthcare.

The church would do its job.

It wouldn't be so much conversation about healthcare all the time.

It's a great thing, you know.

It's a great thing.

It's a great thing.

It's a great thing, all right.

So let's go back to Luke 10.

I want you to see this now.

You've got to see this.

You've got to see this.

Our authority is from God Almighty.

He gave us this authority.

That's right.

When we voted, we gave that a piece of our authority to the person we voted for, or when we didn't vote.

That's right.

Then, by not voting, we gave our authority to crumb balls.

Now look at Luke 10.

This is before Jesus talked to him about what kind of power he gave him.

And so he had already sent them out by two and two.

And in verse 17, the 70 returned again.

See, they've been out there teaching, preaching and healing on behalf of the Lord, in the name of Jesus.

And the 70 returned again with joy Say Lord, even the demons are subject unto us through that name.

Even the demons had to bow.

They were so overjoyed, they were just thrilled.

And he said unto them Jesus said yeah, I saw him fall like a fly.

I saw him fall out of heaven like lightning.

You ever see the Karate Kid?

That's a cute little movie.

It's got some stuff in it, but you know it's fun.

And so Karate Kid 2, it shows you Mr Miyagi, and he's sitting at the table and he's trying to catch a fly with his chopsticks.

Right, remember that.

You know he's going like this.

And so you know, here Danielson comes in, sits down.

What are you doing?

I catch a fly with chopsticks.

And so click, and you caught the fly with the chopsticks.

You just needed a younger pair of eyes and hands.

You know, I tell you, our young people are much more competent than we give them credit, for.

We have a generation living on the earth today that is not intimidated.

They don't know.

They're not like me.

They haven't seen all this garbage all their life.

So when they hear the truth they're going to run.

They're going to run to capture this situation.

So this is kind of what basically Jesus is.

Hang with me.

He said I saw Satan fall like lightning out of heaven.

You're so excited about being over demons.

I saw their boss fall.

Listen, I gave you authority over all the power of the enemy.

Nothing shall be aiming.

It's hurt you.

Verse 19.

We all read that, verse 20.

Not withstanding, in this, rejoice, not that the spirits are subject to unto you, but rather rejoice because your names are enrolled in heaven.

In other words, how excited are you going to be about swatting a fly?

I mean, do you just go?

Why did I kill the fly?

I mean, look what I did.

I got rid.

No, you just killed the fly and that's it.

I mean we cast devils out, that's it.

I mean they are no more intimidating to us than a fly.

Some of you are going to get that tomorrow afternoon about three o'clock.

Maybe I shouldn't have brought up karate kid.

I offended half of you and he watches movies like this.

You know it's a foregone conclusion that you've got power.

Would you rejoice over swatting a fly?

See, you've got this power.

We don't have to wonder about it, we don't have to think about it, let's just exercise it In the name of Jesus.

We're masters, actively and passively frustrating and demoralizing the enemy, and we don't have to feel sorry for him either.

They're not going to be happy.

I really don't think it's a 50-50 country at all.

I think it's an 80-20 country.

The 80 has been cowed and has been bullied and has been suppressed.

Our opinions have been suppressed.

And then, on top of that, you know we're just a lot of people don't know what to do or how to react to name calling and listen.

Like I said, we're going to have to get thicker skin.

We're in charge.

I said we're in charge.

What we say goes.

We've got two things active and passive, and I know many of you are facing things in your personal life.

But what we're facing with our nation, god has prepared this church for this day.

I know that beyond a shadow of doubt and I wondered why I couldn't get anybody interested in this waking up the church.

It's been 20 years since God told me.

21 years and almost 22 years coming up in January and next year early next year.

So it's not a new thing with me, and yet in the past year it's just exploded.

And there are lots of people like me out there I'm not the only one Lots of people saying what I'm saying.

It's very, very encouraging.

It also applies in your personal lives, whatever you're facing, and so I'll give you an example of a passive resistance, one of the best that I know.

Brother Hagin has the testimony.

You know he was paralyzed, almost paralyzed, in bed for months six months.

Doctors had given up on him.

He was born with a defective heart and a bunch of different kind of blood diseases and he was part of the church that didn't believe in miracles.

Miracles passed away.

He got in his grandma's Methodist Bible and clung to it and in one time died, went to hell.

You hear his, just read his little book.

I went to hell and then he got saved.

Then he died another time and went to heaven.

God didn't keep him.

He had tremendous, tremendous testimony, but he wanted to live and he finally got the revelation.

And I won't go to that whole thing.

But what happened was is that just because he got healed as a teenager and he came off that bed of sickness and later went on into the ministry, started pastoring churches a number of times.

After that he came close to dying from the same basic situation.

Sometimes we just think, oh well, he got healed.

Well, he had to defend that healing, he had to possess that healing.

He had to rule and reign in his life.

He had to offer resistance.

So this example I'm going to give you is passive resistance.

And so one point in time he began to have alarming symptoms in his body and he stood against it.

No, by strikes I'm healed, I've been healed of this.

And he just resisted and the symptoms kept coming and he was getting more and more alarming symptoms.

He'd never enumerate what they are, but I can imagine probably all kind of rhythm problems, heart rhythms, probably angina, probably who knows shortness of breath.

He didn't tell us what they were, but I've had some of those things and I know what they're like.

And so he just seemed like now, if he went by, seems like he'd have died.

But it did seem like he wasn't making progress.

It looked like it was getting worse, but he kept resisting.

Everybody say resistance, say he resisted.

He didn't say oh, I guess it's my time now.

I've lived this long.

I guess it's just time to go home.

He could have gone home and be with the Lord, but he didn't.

So one night he had a dream and in the dream he was walking with another gentleman.

The two of them were on what looked like a parade grounds.

Whenever I read this story, I think about A&M.

We had a parade ground that we used to practice marching on, and all that has a little bleacher on one side and you get graded for your marching and how close you are together, so forth and so on.

So here they're, on this beautiful green grassy field, and the guy next to him saw something or felt something, turned around and he screams oh, it's lines, run for your life.

And so this guy sprinted on out and started running away from these two lines.

And there, man, they had gotten a sight of some prey and they were running full blast.

So Brother Hagin in the dream said ah, there's no way, there's no use in me trying to run.

They're just going to catch me.

I'm just going to stand my ground, I'm going to.

I'm just going to.

I stand against you, I refuse to budge.

That's what he said out of his mouth.

I stand against you.

He just stood his ground and here's two lines coming up to eat him alive and he said I stand against you, I refuse to budge.

And they come up and they stop and they sniff around at his feet and the two of them just trotted off and he woke up and every symptom was gone.

Come on, lift your hands.

I mean, did he do anything?

I mean, did he take out a knife and try to stab him to death?

Did he?

Did he take out an elephant gun or a lion gun?

This was passive resistance.

He just resisted.

Go in every symptom left.

Glory to God.

Pass everybody say passive resistance, all right, and then the active resistance will be something that that I had happened to me when I was Year, many years ago.

Ephesians, chapter 6 is my, but we already read it, but let's read it again.

Ephesians 6 · chapter mention

Ephesians 6 talks about Finally, my brother and be strong in the Lord and the power of his might.

Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles or the military strategies of the devil.

No, in spring of 1988 I had been working for a year for a remodeling Business, a builder that I had been introduced to God's favor was on me and a good banker friend of mine introduced me to a builder that was an active builder, home builder in the woodlands, very successful guy, and he was interested in opening a remodeling company.

So he hired me to run it.

And so for a year I ran his remodeling company and, I'll be honest, I didn't like doing that.

I was a home builder by profession and but remodeling, I mean you're, you're going into somebody's house.

They live there.

You've got to make arrangements.

They're picky, they're watching the move.

Every sub that does anything or what.

You're watching the show Over his shoulder.

Well, you missed a spot here.

Can you imagine standing in this project watching over these guys?

You know, do the tape and float on all this drywall behind me?

You missed a spot over here, you know.

No, we leave them alone.

They're professionals, they know what they're doing.

We'll judge them.

If we see anything, we'll go to the contractor.

We're not gonna mess with the individual laborer, but that's happened all the time.

They're always messing with my guys, you know.

And so, anyway, I knew we weren't making any money.

So I got long story.

I felt, I felt that it was time for me to get back in the home building business.

I've been out several years I didn't think I'd ever build another house.

But then I got attracted to the West U market, where they tear down houses and build new ones.

I can't explain don't have time to go through all of the testimony but I had been attracted, in fact, and so I'd call this this fella who's a home builder, and I said, hey, I have you been keeping up with West U men.

It's interesting there.

What do you think?

I'm not interested in that at all.

So that door closed.

So instead he called me and he laid me off.

It's a Friday and I got my last check no, no, no severance, no package, no severance package.

And and I'm not eligible for unemployment, I'm not eligible for anything.

That's just how it was.

I had no eligibility for any other help and they were very.

They felt bad.

I mean, they genuinely did.

They weren't Christians, but they knew I was.

And they said, john, what in the world are you gonna do?

I Said, oh no, don't concern yourself.

I was trusting God before I ever even heard of you.

He was taking care of me.

And Then you came along and there's something else I don't know what it is, but I know it's on its way and they were just almost teary-eyed.

They were so good, but not teary-eyed enough to write me another check.

Now that's a Friday.

Well, I got on the, I started praying and I sat down.

I thought, well, if I'm gonna get back in the home building business, how much money do I need?

And I got my eyes off of West you and owned a bear creek, because then those years bear creek I don't know if y'all know where bear creek is Well, bear creek in the 80s, man, it was a wasteland.

It was 1100 vacant houses, a lot of them with broken glass, vandalized, and it was a mess.

And I said you know, I can use my skills.

I can make a presentation to the, to the people that the banks that that Repossessed all those houses.

People lost their jobs and moved out of Houston.

And there they are.

So I was going to make a presentation to go over there and clean those houses up and make them saleable and and get them fixed up where they could put them on the market and sell them.

And I calculated that I'd need about $25,000 to do that and I've got $35 in the bank.

And so then the Lord reminded me of Deuteronomy, where Moses prayed over Israel.

Lord make you a thousand times more numerous than he has.

See, I needed a thousand fold return on my.

I figured I could take 25 of my $35, put it in the offering on Wednesday night.

And so that's what we did, gladys.

Now we just prayed over that $25 and we put it in the offering.

I left me 10.

I don't know how they didn't close my bank account with $10 in it.

But now was active.

See, I actively resisted the demonic strategies the devil had put against me and I just I put that $25 in the offering.

And also that night, gladys, we were sitting in the audience and it was a Wednesday night, brother Osteen Was, it was through and I was believing.

So glad is my.

She'll be here next week.

Thank y'all through your prayers, but she's doing so much better.

But anyway, gladys, you know she's my wife.

Is she just along for the ride?

In many ways, I mean, it's hard for the wife.

And here she is yet again and I, here I am with no income, and here I am and I know she was really down and and I cried out to God.

I said, god, you know, we need something in this Wednesday night service.

We got to have something.

We're gonna go to church, I'm gonna put this $25, but Gladys needs something.

We got to have something supernatural.

We got to have God.

I don't know what you're gonna do, I'm not telling you what to do, but I need something for her.

I Don't know what.

And so we had the offering.

Brother Osteen preached, and, and he's Closing up, he's about to close everything up.

He said, well, did you get anything out of this tonight?

Clap his hands, you know, and and so he turned, and he and I'm sitting kind of over here.

So he turned this way, had his back to me and and and to us.

I should say and.

And I'm thinking it's not time to end yet.

I, we haven't got what we needed.

I said that, whispered that out loud, and he went whoa, whoa, whoa.

Something touched me, you know, angel.

My angel pulled on his coat.

I know that's what it was.

My angel pulled on his coat and when he whirled around, his eyes fixed on Gladys and you know he couldn't remember her name.

I mean, you know, I can't remember your name half the time when I'm up here.

Don't take it personal, but you know, we're just in another world, you know.

So it's not personal, but anyway, woman in purple, woman in purple.

And he began to prophesy over her and she said honey, when I my eyes filled with tears when I was looking at brother Osteen, I was just looking at Jesus.

Jesus just like talking to me and encouraged her oh God, tell you, he knows where you are, he knows what you need.

I Didn't ask God to give her a word, I didn't ask God to do anything.

I said something super nice she needs help.

And it did help her.

It's boo-eater, but anyway.

So then I said okay, god, I've done that.

What's next?

Or was there any other way I can act, my faith?

And he put me three businessmen that I knew and at Lakewood, and he said call them and and have them agree with you for the twenty five thousand dollars.

Just simple prayer of agreement.

I said God, come on, they're gonna think I'm getting them to give me the twenty five thousand dollars.

I don't want to do that.

Is there any other way?

How many of you know there wasn't any other way?

Y'all are so smart.

I wish you'd have been around back then when I could have called you and counseled with you and given me, give me your wisdom, come on.

He said just tell him what I told you, it'll be alright.

So I call the first one.

Oh yeah, john, absolutely.

And this was the reason he wanted me to call them, because they wouldn't be intimidated by, by the amount of money.

I mean, you're not gonna call somebody and ask for twenty five thousand dollars them agree with you if they've never handled that kind of money, I mean because they can't believe that, but God's.

And so I encouraged them when I told them God gave me their name in prayer, that they wouldn't bought be intimidated by 25.

Well, you know, that's right, that's right.

I thank you.

Well, you know, they kind of puffed them up a little bit, but anyway, they agreed, they agreed.

Finally, the third one that I call.

So the two are down.

I got one more to go, so I call him and he said, oh, he said, come to my house and my wife and I will agree with you.

You know just, he didn't want pray over the phone and I drive way across, you know, to his house, and I knew where he lived.

I've been to his house a time or two or other things, and you know, come in through this gate.

You know, big old gate, big old mansion.

You got a drawing room or no, a music room says come over to the music room.

You know, whoa Music room is about half the size of that center section, pretty big, you know.

And we get over in the corner and his wife comes, you know.

They grabbed me by the hands and they started praying.

Each one of these prayed, they did the prayer and I did the agree.

So he began to pray and he began to weep tears running down his face and down her face.

I said wow, and the Holy Ghost, now, he just came all over us.

And so we said amen and I thanked them and everything we said it's done, and I left and make a long story short, he wound up being my business partner.

God dealt with him and dealt with him and dealt with him and in a month later, after that prayer, I didn't have twenty five thousand dollars, I had a hundred thousand dollars and we went to work in West University place we we never went to.

Yeah, what was the name of this place?

It's, it's to be forgotten anyway, if that's where you live, I'm sorry, so active.

See, everybody, do you see the actor?

I had to act.

I had to move out.

I had to.

I had to trust God and do something that was awkward and hard for me to do.

I had to put my pride Aside and humble myself under the mighty hand of God.

Y'all with me now.

See, I had to resist, actively resist, and I encountered and defeated lack by giving and by obeying God Amen.

So join the resistance today.

Let's not put up with what's going on in your life.

Let's not put up with what's going on Unless it's God saying I mean, when God does something, he does things great.

Let's not put up with what's going on in our nation right now.

Come on, lift your hands, join the resistance today.

Everybody say I'm joining the resistance, I'm not putting up With what I'm seeing.

I say this is my greatest year yet.

Come on, let's shout the victory today Hallelujah Go ready, god.
