Saving Your Soul

Let's lift our bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

Let's say this together say heavenly Father, I'm here on purpose tonight.

I'm a Sunday night fanatic.

I don't wanna miss Sunday night.

I don't wanna miss what the Holy Ghost is gonna reveal to me in the Word of God.

It's life changing.

It's needed for my ministry and, yes, I do have a ministry and I'm living in the days when my ministry is being released in Jesus' name, Amen.

All right, James, chapter one, and let's start reading the verse 17.

James 117.

It's on page 310, if you're still looking.

You know, when I first got saved, I bought one of these bibles and I bought this bunch of plastic tabs and I went through, you know, and I had all these tabs and you know they were worthless because you couldn't read what was so tiny you couldn't read the tab, and then they'd get torn off and then it would tear half the page off.

You know, but I didn't know where any of the books of the Bible, brother, those things, start preaching.

I could find the book.

I spent all my time in the glossary.

All right, James 117.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variable-ness nor neither shadow of turning Of his own, will begat he us with the Word of truth that we should be kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath, For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Wherefore, lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and receive with meekness the engrafted Word which is able to save your souls.

But be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only deceiving your own selves.

Now I wanted to read verse 21 in the NLT, New Living Translation.

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives and humbly accept the Word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.

But don't just listen to God's Word.

You must do what it says, Otherwise you're only fooling yourselves.

And so tonight I just wanted to preach on saving your souls.

Saving your souls A lot of people live and die and go to heaven.

Their spirit was saved, but their soul never was Really saving the soul is more in line with making disciples.

You know, Jesus didn't say go into all the world and make converts.

He said go into all the world and make disciples, teaching them, teach all nations, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded.

And so that really gets into what James is talking about, because James is not talking to sinners.

This letter is written to the church.

He's written, it's written to believers.

So how in the world, you know?

And when I got saved and I started getting into it, I mean, you know, people talk about saving souls.

You know well, I'm a soul winner.

I go save souls.

We're believing for souls to get saved at this crusade and it's kind of confusing how many of you you hear these phrases that really are not quite accurate.

Does that bother you?

It bothers me when I don't hear accuracy because really the Bible doesn't say about saving souls.

It talks about spirits getting saved.

Our spirits are saved because the word is implanted inside of us.

We're begotten by the word of truth.

One day somebody preached a gospel which he heard.

James is calling it the word of truth.

I like James because James is the Lord's brother and he wasn't an early adopter.

He was a skeptic at first.

He thought, brother, you're a wild, you were out there and I don't think I can go along with you.

And so he was one of the ones that showed up, you know, and Phillip said hey, Jesus, your mother and your brethren are outside.

Well, James is with him, you know, James is there.

He said look around this room, this is my mother, these are my brothers right here, the ones who hear the word of God and do it.

I mean Jesus himself, you know, didn't even go see his mother there when she they all thought he was crazy, because he started saying unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man, drink his blood, you have no life in you.

That's when the 70 left him.

The answer is Peter.

He said y'all gonna leave too.

Well, we would Lord, but we don't have nowhere to go.

You're paying all the bills.

No, he didn't say that Peter was not the first Pope.

There's no Pope.

And it wouldn't have been Peter if it was, because Peter was not the head of anything, he was just, he was an apostle, but James was the head of the church in Jerusalem.

You know, James is kind of salty.

James comes from a different direction.

He's not positive, he's on the negative side, he's a little on the negative side.

You know, I like him.

He's kind of.

I can relate to James.

So James is saying look, he's writing to the church, not sinners.

And he said look, believers are begotten, they're born again by the word of truth, their spirits are saved, their destination is heaven.

Yet James says don't just stop with a new birth, Get on down the road and get your soul saved.

Your soul has to be saved, healed, delivered, guarded, protected, supplied.

Why?

Because it's not changed.

When you get saved.

Your spirit has changed.

You're a new creature, but you still got the same brain tissue.

You got the same memory.

You remember everything that the sinner did, even though the sinner's no longer there.

There's no sinner in you that was passed away.

Old things are passed away.

Behold, all things have become new, but not your soul.

The soul is the mind, the will of the intellect.

I mean, you know, when I learned that at Lakewood Church 40 some odd years ago, it changed my life.

I this and I grew up Catholic.

I went to Catholic school through grade eight and the nuns drew a circle on the board and said that's your soul.

And when you commit a sin, a venial sin.

The venial sin is lying, cheating, whatever little sins, they're like a dog, but oh, a mortal sin.

A mortal sin is when you miss mass on Sunday.

Your entire soul is black and if you die with that mortal sin on your soul you go to hell.

That's what they taught me.

You have to go to confession.

How many of you ever got taught that?

See, I went Baltimore Catechism.

See, some of you did.

Most of you didn't thank God.

You didn't hear that.

But they taught me wrong.

Because the soul is not, it's a spirit, and when you're a Christian, all you have to do, you don't have to go to confession, you just confess your sin.

He's faithful, just forgive you sin, clear, as you fall in righteousness.

There's no stain, so there's no need for purgatory.

You know, you might have to go to purgatory for five or 600 years and burn the stain of the sin off of your soul.

See, that's what you know when you hear something, from the time you're five years old to the time you're 13, it's hard to unlearn that.

But you know what I was not saved during those years, so it didn't register in my spirit, you know.

So I was so relieved to get saved and realize all that was bunk.

You know, but some of us, you know, when you're taught wrong as a Christian, You're going to have challenges of it's kind of like pulling Johnson Gray.

Have you ever had Johnson grass grow in your yard?

I mean, if you're a kind of a picky like my wife is really picky about the yard, it has to be.

I mean, it has to be perfect, and for that reason she would always mow the front yard.

I had to mow the back yard because it didn't matter what it looked like, but the front yard that was her.

I didn't do it well enough and besides that, when I mowed the front, I was a home builder.

When I mowed the front yard, my neighbors were people that I built houses for and they'd always cost me a hundred bucks Because they'd start making up reasons why I needed to send people back over to their house, Even though I've been living there five years, and they wanted.

You know my paint is fading in my den.

Well, paint it Anyway, but glad.

But Johnson grass will grow in your, it will get in there and you start trying to pull that up.

You've got roots 50 foot long.

I mean you just start, you start going down there and you're pulling these roots up and then you, some of it breaks off.

It stays in there.

Guess what it's going to all grow it.

Just it's like, it's like supernatural weeds, it's, it's.

You can't kill it, you can't get rid of it once you have it.

So that's what learning wrong as a Christian when you're taught all this junk from denominate mostly denominational churches will teach you stuff.

It's wrong.

You know it takes a while to get your soul saved.

You know your spirit saved, but you've got stuff lodged in your thinking that you have to get that pulled out of there.

It takes some what effort on your part.

You have to be exposed, Number one to the truth, and then you've got to apply that tree and you've got to.

You've got to face the truth.

Millions of believers who've been born again and are going to heaven are going to go without having their soul save.

Well, what's the difference, pastor?

I mean they're in heaven.

Well, they're not of much use because we are triune beings.

God's a triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We're triune beings, we're spirits.

We live in a body and we have a soul, a mind, willing intellect.

God wants every part of our body redeemed.

That's what's going to happen at the rapture.

Our bodies are going to be changed.

We're not even going to know.

We have a body.

We're going to not know any pain, we're not going to know any limits, we're not going to know a fatigue or tiredness.

We're not going to know time.

I mean, we just decided we're going to go to the other far end of the universe and we can be there in a nanosecond.

We're going to be just like Jesus is.

So that hasn't happened yet.

So we've got a body and we know what we have to do.

What do we do?

Well, Bible says we're supposed to do something with our body.

We'll talk about that a little while and then we're supposed to do something with our mind.

Right?

So to learn that we were a spirit that redid all of what the nuns told me.

We're not a soul, we're a spirit, and that's the part that's going to live forever.

That's the part of me that's born again.

That's the part that's in Christ.

Oh, to learn who you are in Christ changes your image, your self image.

I hear.

Here's another teaching you hear is very common in the nomination church Well, you've got to die to self.

No, you don't die to self.

Why?

Because yourself is a spirit.

You don't die to that.

That's what you need to put on.

You need to put on the new man which, after God, has created and righteous and true holdings.

You don't die to that.

That's an incomplete knowledge of spirit, soul and body.

And when you've been taught, that, after you've been saved, takes a long time to get out.

Are y'all?

Are y'all are kind of looking at me, crooked there like a dog at a new dish and cow at a new gate?

All right, we're trying to be a first desk.

Loans 523.

I pray your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved, blameless, under the coming of the Lord.

Paul said when I learned that it was just revolutionary.

So God saves our spirit with a spirit.

Brother Hagan, I love, I love just how he was a teacher.

That was his, his core.

Yeah, he was a prophet but he was a teacher.

He liked to preach but God caused him to do more teaching because God told him that body of Christ needs teaching.

So he taught faith.

Teach my people faith.

That's what God told brother Hagan.

Teach my people faith.

So he did, and so he would say this he's with a spirit.

You contact the spirit realm with the body.

You contact the physical realm.

Or you could say, with the body you contact the sense, sensual realm, the five senses.

That's how you contact the physical realm, your five senses sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing and then with a soul.

Well, the soul.

You contact the intellectual or the or the emotional realm.

So when your spirit is saved, you've got to do something with the other two parts of your being.

And so Romans 12, one and two tells you what you have to do.

It doesn't do one bit of good.

You might as well twiddle your thumbs and say twinkle, twinkle, little star.

Then to ask God to do something with your body or for God to do something with your mind, no, you have to.

What with your body?

Well, you have to present your body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable and unto God, which is your reasonable service.

One one version says and your spiritual worship is just like the sacrifice of animals.

You have to sacrifice.

God loves our flesh, and Bible says, in Romans 8, 13, to mortify the deeds of the body.

See, that's where they get this dying to self.

No, you don't die to self, you mortify the deeds of the body.

Y'all are y'all following along.

The reason this is important?

Because in the last days we're not gonna have a full revival and a full reformation unless the church gets ahold of this and starts getting their souls saved.

What good are you gonna be if your soul is unrenewed and you're still think wrong?

You have stinking thinking.

What you're gonna do is misinform the baby Christians.

You're gonna tell them the clap trap that you have a clap trap, Okay, I didn't cuss.

So you're gonna tell them what error you've learned.

You're just gonna repeat all of the religious garbage that you have brought in to your mind.

No, you need your soul saved.

So, yes, your body.

You've gotta present your body of living saccharine mortif by the deeds of the body.

Colossians three you gotta get rid of sinful habits, Amen.

I mean flies can't lie on a hot stove, Fly, yeah.

Is it hot for God?

I mean just go all out for God, Pray in tongues all the time you get sin or leave you.

Yes, all this labor and about bad habits and all that kind of thing.

Just get full of God, get full of the Holy Ghost, and they'll leave.

It'll leave you.

The desire leaves you.

Yeah, you're flesh.

You have to deal with your flesh, All right.

Then your mind, what do you do?

Well, he says in Romans 12, be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Then you may prove what is a good, acceptable and perfect will of God.

And God told me years ago.

He said now, when you say renewing to a church full of Christians, most of them are gonna say, yep, thank God, I got my mind renewed when I got saved.

No, that's not what that means.

Renewing means really refreshing.

It means updating.

How many times a month do you have to update your iPhone?

It's always got an update.

See, we need updates.

We need to plug in and let our minds get renewed or refreshed, and then we are transformed, we're metamorphosized.

It's the same Greek word when Jesus was transfigured on the Mount of Transfiguration.

It's the Greek word metamorpho, which means changed into another form.

And the church has got to have a mass saving of its soul.

I submit to you the church is largely in America, is largely asleep.

Churches are not the country.

Brother Hagin said this 30 years ago.

The trouble we're having in our country is because the church has let it.

So I'm not the first one to be saying these things.

Some people get uncomfortable.

Well, you shouldn't be talking bad.

I'm not talking bad.

I'm giving you a report and we need to be a supply for the remedy of that.

And I'm saying tonight that the remedy is getting our soul saved.

Amen.

We need our soul saved.

Yeah, we're saved, but our souls need to be saved.

Transform by renewing of your mind.

Just think about the church.

If it was really transformed by the renewing of its collective mind.

What a difference it would make in this country.

And all the communists and the socialists and all these people doing the wickedness, the LGBTQ plus, the black lives matter, the NTIF, all of those things that have hijacked hot button phrases and they're just hiding behind communism.

That's what they really are.

They're communists and they are taking advantage.

And I read the other day I don't know how many billion dollars they've received and people mailing them money, Terrorist organization.

So a hint about your mind being renewed or having your soul saved.

Let's look at James again in verse nine and he's talking about what happens when people get saved.

And he said, verse nine, let the brother of low degree, In other words, the guy that just got saved he's a brother of low degree he's talking about.

He goes on and talks about somebody.

Maybe that's not rich, maybe they're on the poor side, maybe they're you know, maybe they're you know, we just he said let the brother of low degree rejoice, and that he's exalted.

You know, when you get saved, you've been promoted.

You know you might've been a lost and you might've been from the hood, or you might've been from the ghetto, or you might've been from the barrio, or you might've been on the wrong side of the tracks, so to speak.

But let me tell you something when you get saved, you just got promoted.

You are a child of the king.

In fact, you are a king.

He's the king of kings.

You're one of the kings, he's kings of.

You're just on your way to royalty.

We're people of the royal priesthood, a holy nation, See.

So rejoice.

A brother like that ought to rejoice and not be a victim.

See, we're not teaching that.

In a lot of churches they're teaching victimhood.

That's another reason why we've got such a mess in this country.

People that supposedly ought to be Bible believing Christians are not taught the Bible in their church.

They're taught opposite of that.

But the rich in that he is made low.

What does that mean?

But the rich it's understood the verb there rejoice in that he is made low.

The rich is made low.

Well, why is that?

I mean he's rich in that he's made low Because, as the flower of the grass, he shall pass away.

What is that talking about?

For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass and the flower there are falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perishes.

So also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

Now you can kind of get a little hint.

The rich man that gets saved now is on the same strata as everybody else.

He can no longer walk around like cockadoodle do and throw his weight around and say, yeah, man, I'm rich, I'm rich boy, I'm rich.

So he is really.

When he come into the kingdom of God, there's no big eyes in the little ears, and so he's gonna have to get his soul saved.

He's gonna have to have a different way of thinking about his life, and he has no longer.

His riches don't really belong to him.

All of it belongs to his God.

Jesus is Lord over his entire net worth.

Now I've lived long enough to see this play out of some guys, and I've seen it play out the way the rich guy faded away in his ways his ways, not God's way.

His way, the way that he got his riches, the way, the sneaky little ways you know, tight as a drum, tighter than Dick's hack band.

You ever heard that?

Tighter than old Dick's hack band?

You know just.

You know cheat every.

You know negotiate every until all the blood.

You know squeeze like the blood out of a turnip.

No mercy, no, they're gonna have to get merciful.

They're gonna have to learn to be give.

They're gonna have to learn to give, give, give, give.

They're gonna have to learn a whole new language.

They have responsibility to use their riches for the kingdom.

Now Some will do it and I've seen others that didn't and they faded away.

All right, they faded right out of the church.

They became irrelevant.

I'm not saying they're going to hell.

I'm not saying that I think it's hard to get unsafe.

But I'll tell you what.

As a believer, you can become irrelevant to the kingdom if you don't get your soul saved.

You're not really qualified then to be a laborer.

You're not qualified to minister to anyone.

You're not qualified because your thinking is stinky, your attitude is all wrong.

You're gonna give people the wrong impression.

You're gonna offend more people than you're gonna get people saved.

Are you with me now?

I've seen them.

I've seen them and then I've seen them.

You know, just have a shipwreck Doesn't necessarily have to happen.

What has to happen.

They need to be discipled.

See, that's why it's wrong to get these Hollywood stars and Hollywood rock singers.

They get, some of them get saved, and then, the next thing you know, they're on Christian television giving their testimony.

They don't even know what they're talking about.

They're not discipled.

They're not told hey, sit here and forget that.

You've got a gift of playing something.

Just give it to God, let Him sanctify you first.

No, they're not taught that.

Instead, they're put up on the platform they entertain, they sing a song out of out of out of.

Next thing, you know, you see the news and they're arrested for drunk driving.

You know one popular country song singer, you know.

I heard him sing a.

I won't say where I was when I heard him sing some songs.

He had some good songs and good, clean songs.

They weren't beer drinking, so they were good songs.

You know, and I won't say who he was, but I mean the next thing, you know, he's in the news.

He's completely naked, got totally drunk, out of his mind.

They found him in a car twice, you know, and just almost drank himself to death.

He's a hopeless alcoholic.

Well, that's just too many people thinking that he hung the moon.

No, he needs to be a disciple.

Put your guitar, hang it up and forget you've gone, fact burning and give yourself holy to God, Get your mind renewed.

Then maybe, if God wants to add that is this helping anybody tonight?

All right, so to save your soul, let's three things real quick.

And again, I'm just on this lately, because the church has got to get ready for the coming of the Lord.

He's coming for a church without spot or wrinkle.

He's coming for a church that's ready, that's desirous of him, that is hungry for him, that will do anything and everything, lay down their lives.

You can't do that with a carnal mind.

So to save your soul, number one put the word first place over everything in your life.

Television, movies, secular reading, hobbies not that those things are wrong in and of themselves as a matter of degree.

Put God's word first.

Don't do anything until you've read your Bible.

John 6.63, we used it this morning.

He said the words that I speak to you, they're spirit in their life.

I mean, that's the most important thing getting God's word first place.

Matthew 4.4, Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every rama of God.

Two words for the word, word rama and logos.

And Jesus said man shall live by the rama, the God-breed word.

You've got to read the logos and put the logos in you, and God will bring the rama out of you when you need it.

Have you ever read your Bible and all of a sudden, just something popped off the page and hit you in the face?

That's rama.

Or when the Holy Ghost speaks to you, that's rama.

Sometimes it's not scripture, sometimes it's just the spirit of God speaking.

Yes, rama, Faith cometh by rama.

When he speaks to you, faith comes to do what he told you to do.

I remember one time years ago, I was reading the book of John and I was just, you know, baby Christian hadn't been saved very long and I was shut up in my little prayer room and I had my Bible open.

I was reading.

There was a man talking about John the Baptist.

There was a man sent from God who's named with John.

And then when I read that, I read it.

I heard my voice.

I didn't read it out loud, I read it, but I heard my voice reading the scripture.

There was a man sent from God whose name was John Griner.

Holy Ghost put Griner in there and I knew it was God.

I didn't have to wonder.

I knew God had put my name in that verse and I busted out crying you mean, I've been sent from God.

Wow, that's pretty cool and I've never forgot.

It's been 40 plus years ago and one, Ramah changed your life.

That's what you live by.

What if I'm too busy to read my Bible?

How long would it be for God to communicate that with me?

I mean, would he have ever communicated it?

I don't know.

I don't know the answer to the question, but I wouldn't want to find out Every time I pick my Bible up.

It's an appointment with God Read your Bible, like your life depends on it, because it does.

Yeah, that's calling talking about saving your soul.

The second one bring every thought captive.

Second, Corinthians 10, let's look at it quick here, Verse four.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they're not of the flesh, they're not of the five senses, they're not sense ruled or sense connected, but they're mighty, through God, to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

So what you see?

There is a reverse order.

So you have a thought.

Quit owning every thought.

Many thoughts are not your thoughts.

They're thrown at you by the devil and demon powers.

Quit saying that you thought that.

No, you didn't think it.

Most negative thoughts come from outside of you.

So know that and then confront and refute every thought that exalts itself against God's Word.

I mean the minute it comes.

You're worthless, Uh-uh.

I'm the righteous of God in Christ.

I'm worth what the blood paid for.

I'm worth what God paid for me.

He paid with the blood for me.

I am worth something.

No, you gotta rise up and confront every thought, because if you don't, then the thought becomes an imagination.

Now, an imagination's a lot more difficult because you didn't confront the thought, but you still have to cast it down.

So why don't you just go ahead?

And it takes discipline, takes discipline to confront these thoughts as they come.

But when I see people depressed, when I see people victimhood-minded, it's because they're thinking.

These thoughts that are coming to their mind are not their thoughts.

They're coming from outside.

The devil is the accuser of the brethren.

He's gonna either accuse you or someone else to you.

He's gonna misrepresent facts, he's gonna misrepresent the truth.

You're gonna bite it and think it and then it's gonna turn into imagination.

If you don't deal with it, then now it becomes a stronghold and in my experience, strongholds you're gonna need some help to get rid of it.

It's pretty hard to get rid of one out of your brain A stronghold.

Revelation, knowledge is the foundation of the basis upon which God manifests himself.

Remember what Peter Jesus said who do men say that I am?

Well, they say you're the prophet.

They say you're the one that come.

Well, who do you say that I am?

And Peter said thou art the Christ, the son of the living God.

Blessed art thou, Simon Peter.

You're the prophet, the prophet of God, the prophet of God.

Blessed art thou, Simon Peter.

Flesh and blood didn't reveal that to you, but my Father, which is in heaven.

And now, behold, thou art Peter, and upon this rock I shall build my church.

Thou art Peter, little stone, but upon this great stone of revelation I will build my church.

See, that wasn't a pope.

The Catholic Church calls that the pope's scripture.

No, that's completely out of their mind.

Nothing to do with a pope.

It has to do with the basis upon which the Holy Ghost, or God, will manifest.

God manifests on the basis of revelation.

The devil manifests on the basis of strongholds.

So you got a stronghold in your mind.

You've given a platform for the devil to do a little song and dance and he will bring his manifestations to pass.

Are you with me?

Now it's vital that the church gets their soul saved and extinguish every thought and don't let them go into imaginations and strongholds Amen.

So, and then the last one is pretty close to that one Renounce and break any ungodly soul ties.

What do I mean by soul?

I've heard a lot of bad teaching on soul ties.

Another pet peeve of mine is teaching along the lines of generational curses.

Anybody heard a lot about generational curses.

Throw most of it out.

It's just a mis.

It's a mis application.

So let me kind of give you the way God has given it to me Renounce and break any ungodly soul ties.

Remember what's a soul tie?

It's an emotional tie to previous unhealthy relationships, In other words, abusive ex spouses would be one of those or old boyfriends, girlfriends, best friends Sometimes they're really not God chosen friends, Estranged parents and or siblings, ministers, where you've been gutted out and left for dead, controlled, manipulated, bled dry.

Amen.

It happens in the church.

Why does it happen?

Because there's a whole lot of ministers that don't have their soul saved.

There's a whole lot of church people don't have their soul saved.

So you've got manifestations of demons everywhere, when there ought to be manifestations of the Holy Ghost, there ought to be revelation, knowledge, but there's not.

There's just all this other mess.

So unhealthy soul ties, listen, unhealthy soul ties.

Think of it as a string that connects you to someone else.

That string, that tie, is the connection on which familiar spirits travel.

So when you talk about generational curses, you're talking about the manifestation of demon powers.

I call them familiar spirits.

Every family, every human being on the face of the planet that's born, comes into the world as a child of a father and a mother who have familiar spirits assigned to them.

Those familiar spirits are called that because they are familiar with that family line.

And you will know well, you know, cancer runs in my family.

Well, that's a familiar spirit.

It's not a generational curse.

A generational curse is a manifestation that the spirit brings.

It's like when you wanna deal with a curse and cast the curse out, well, you can't curse me, I'm not.

Well, no, you're dealing with the outward.

Get with the inward.

The inward is that familiar spirit.

That's what you've got power over.

When you get rid of the familiar spirits in your life, there's not gonna be any curses being able to manifest in your life.

I've known families that had suicide in their family line.

And you go back grandpa committed suicide, grandma on the other side of maybe fathers you know, you got grandma over here on mother's side, grandpa on daddy's side.

Well, those things travel down the road.

They're unhealthy, they're familiar spirits and they go from one generation of X and it's ignorance of God's word, it's ignorance of our power.

When we get saved, we're saved.

Now we get to get our soul saved and when you get your soul saved, you get delivered from generational curses because those spirits cannot manifest.

We gotta know these things to help folks because we're not gonna have about that long to disciple people before we're all out of here.

But God is expecting us to disciple this great harvest.

He's not, you know.

Otherwise they've got to just go into class for about 5,000 years up in heaven.

You just have to teach a big old class.

Let's just stuff that they should have learned in the church when they were on the earth, but now they're in heaven instead of traveling all over the now.

They gotta learn everything they were supposed to learn down the path.

No, pastor, this is blowing my.

It's supposed to blow your mind.

Your mind needs to get exploded and rebuilt in God's image.

Amen, Of course he's not a mind, All right.

So see these things.

How many of you are hearing some things that you've never heard before?

Say generational curses.

I've heard the most gosh awful teaching on that.

I had a minister one time that I got close to.

I tried to help him.

I said you know, really, you're teaching the wrong thing.

I said it's not the generational curses, it's familiar spirits.

It's the familiar spirits you have to get rid of.

You can chase your tail all day long going against curses, curses, curses.

If you don't deal with what's causing the curses, you're never gonna get free.

All you're doing is putting a bandaid on a massive wound.

So what do you have to do?

You have to renounce.

You have to renounce all of those soul ties.

You've never done that.

You ought to spend some time asking the Holy Ghost to help you clean up and do some house cleaning.

You're not walking in unforgiveness toward anybody.

You're just recognizing that when you have an emotional soul tie, a soul tie is an emotional tie to someone you're giving that's.

That tie is a permission for their familiar spirits to travel and affect you.

Do you need that?

You got enough of them in your own family.

Your mama and your daddy gave you enough to be concerned about.

They didn't do it on purpose.

They don't purpose it.

It's in every family.

Y'all are looking at me like, wow, I'm not trying to bind you, I'm trying to set you.

I want to set you free.

Early in my ministry I used to spend hours trying to help people and I found out that it was just useless.

I Could sit here and I could discern these things.

I'd got to give me the names of these spirits.

We'd sit there and we'd go hours and we just Buy these things and everything else and six months later they're right back where they can see.

You got to do it.

I can't do it for you, you have to do it.

All the counseling in the world, all the prayer, all the hours I spent doing all that kind of stuff it was just wore me, slap out.

I mean I'd spend three hours messing with stuff like that.

I'd go home and just fall on my couch Exhausted.

I ought to know the holy ghost wasn't helping me that much, but I did learn, thank God, I did learn.

I had to learn the hard way.

No, you've got the power over your life.

You know who, who it is, you know the suspects.

It's not about unforgiving, You're not mad at them or anything.

You just you renounce that tie.

It's null and void for you.

Null and void, there's no connection.

You, really you remove all permission for the devil to travel down that line.

Is this making sense?

Now?

I'm kind of lingering on this because we need to do that right now.

Hallelujah, you know you can be motivated, but motivation only takes you very far.

It go.

It'll take you to first base.

It won't get you to home plate.

You need discipline.

In Consistency lies the power to be consistent to Do this house cleaning, to resist the devil.

Submit yourself, therefore, to God.

Resist the devil and Familiar spirits.

Remove that permission for them to travel on those soul ties.

Cancel the soul ties on on relationships that are no longer valid, that are no longer.

I mean, I'm not saying you're disown your parents, I'm not saying that.

I'm saying you don't give permission for those, those demons, to travel on those Pipelines, on those wires.

It's like a wire.

I Was thinking about this the other day and I remembered as a kid I had some neighbors that lived catty corner behind us over in Galena Park, Texas.

That's where I grew up my childhood, my little childhood, and we were all.

I was always going over there to play.

They were older than me but we, they treated me good and I always had a lot of fun.

So they rigged up this, this communication deal, and it was an old oatmeal can, and so they got.

You remember they used to have oatmeal cans that were cardboard.

They have a metal top and a screw-on lid.

So we cut the oatmeal can in half and Punched a hole with an ice pick in the metal part and stuck a string through it and tied a big knot To where you know the string wouldn't pull out, and so we connected the halves of this oatmeal can About 50 yards I mean, it is about 50 yards across our back yards, from their back door to my back door, and I could go out there.

If I'd see them out in the yard, They'd weigh that.

Then I'd pick up the can, I'd talk into the can and they could hear me.

On the other end we would use it as a phone or you.

It wasn't really very good, but you could kind of make out the words.

Anybody ever do that?

Yeah, all of you.

Well, that's I mean.

Look, let's cut the cord, let's cut that thing.

Let's stop all communication and and manifestation of these demon powers.

They're not there to help you, Amen, and and your loved one or the person that you're talking about is.

They're not willing for that, they're not Participators.

And that is just life.

Are you with me now?

So be diligent.

Inconsistently lie lies the power.

The Word of God inside you is healing, Delivering, protecting.

See, it's in grafted.

The Word of God is in grafted.

It saved your soul.

That same word will save yourself.

It saved your spirit, rather, it will save your soul.

And so you're discovering how to know God's perfect will.

You'll never be deceived.

Amen, saving your soul.

Let's all say this together say I renounce Every familiar spirit, I Withdraw all permission.

You cannot travel those of those ways.

I break those soul ties.

They're not current.
