  1. Wavils.

  2. Please wave them around.

  3. Make Jesus glad, the devil mad when we get into the Word of God today.

  4. Wonderful Jesus, thank you.

  5. Worship team.

  6. That's beautiful.

  7. Glory to God.

  8. Just wave them around, come on.

  9. What a sight, hallelujah.

  10. Say this together.

  11. Say heavenly Father, I've built my life on the Word, on the rock, not on the shifting sands of man's ideas.

  12. I look to you and to the Holy Ghost to shine His light on this Word.

  13. Today I come to receive food for my faith, nourishment for my spirit.

  14. I'll never be the same.

  15. In Jesus' name, amen.

  16. Hallelujah.

  17. Glad to have all of you with us today, glad to have our live stream audience.

  18. I'll tell you you might be going through some fire, but you're gonna come out on the other side.

  19. You're not even gonna have the smell of smoke.

  20. I'll tell you he's with us, he's faithful.

  21. If he said it, he'll do it.

  22. If he spoke it, he'll make it good.

  23. In James, chapter five, if you'll turn there, in verse 16, in the second part of the verse in the King James, it says the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man, a valeth much.

  24. Let me read it to you out of the Amplify the earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man or woman righteous person Say don't you love those songs that are full of redemptive truth?

  25. These are not songs that are begging and poor me and I'm just you know.

  26. These are redemptive truth, righteous man.

  27. So the earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous person makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working.

  28. So I just wanted to share a message entitled the power of prayer.

  29. I know what you're thinking.

  30. Well, he just preached on this not very long ago.

  31. When was that?

  32. Well, just you know, about six or eight months ago actually, if you wanna know, god delivered me from the fear of repetition.

  33. So if you know all about prayer, this'll be water for everything that you already know.

  34. But if you're like me and you're still learning, then you're gonna hear something in here that's at least seed that can grow up and help you as a person of redemptive truth.

  35. There's a lot of people praying without any revelation of redemptive truth and it reduces them into begging God.

  36. You know vain prayers, oh God, oh God, help me, help me.

  37. Oh God, heal our land.

  38. I humble myself, I repent.

  39. Heal our land.

  40. Well, god's not gonna heal our land.

  41. You're quoting an Old Testament prayer that was for Israel and it was for Israel alone.

  42. It wasn't for America, it wasn't for the church to pray that why?

  43. Because God is doing everything he does on the earth through the church.

  44. Jesus is the head and we're the body.

  45. This might and it's not even in my notes, but you know, I'm just amazed at how many dumb Christians there are.

  46. They don't know who they are, so they're always asking God, oh God, oh God.

  47. And we're here, we're here.

  48. Has your head ever been anywhere?

  49. Your body didn't take it.

  50. I mean, let's just supply.

  51. You decide to go to Barnes and Noble.

  52. You decide to go get, you know.

  53. You decide to go get a book on how to fail.

  54. No, there's no books on that and it's automatic.

  55. You know exactly how to fail.

  56. Just keep doing what you're doing.

  57. You'll fail.

  58. I mean, it's just no how to succeed.

  59. Now, that's a book you probably need to read.

  60. This is a great success book right here.

  61. Best one you can read is how to succeed.

  62. Amen and so.

  63. But did you ever go in there?

  64. And then you know you're looking at the books.

  65. Well then, what do you got?

  66. Well, you gotta pick it up with your hands, don't you?

  67. Then your feet take you through the front door.

  68. Listen, god is not coming down here.

  69. He sent Jesus already and the death barrel and resurrection, the blood of Jesus.

  70. He has given the church all authority in heaven and in earth.

  71. And so if there's anything that needs to be done down here, he's looking for a human being, a legal resident of the earth, through which he can use through faith and through the proper praying and through the proper saying.

  72. Really, to be honest with you, there's a whole lot more saying that needs to be done than praying.

  73. Oh, that's shocked a lot of you, but the power of prayer, and when I'm talking about prayer I'm just talking about communication with God.

  74. And so here we have James, which is an end time book.

  75. It talks about the end times.

  76. It talks about how God has long patience for the precious fruit of the earth that he received, the early in the latter reign.

  77. There's coming an earlier in latter reign.

  78. God has a plan.

  79. It includes the Holy Ghost being poured out fresh and new.

  80. And the church needs revival.

  81. How many of you know?

  82. The church needs revival.

  83. And then, once the church is revived, then there's awakening for the world.

  84. I tell you, it doesn't take everybody in the body of Christ.

  85. In fact, some people are not in the body of Christ.

  86. Some people are just fakes.

  87. Some people call themselves Christians because they're not Hindu.

  88. They call themselves Christians because they're not Muslim, but they've never been born again.

  89. And then you've got some people that you know were raised in a Christian tradition.

  90. They were raised in a home that believed the Bible and they've departed from the Bible.

  91. They've departed from the Word of God.

  92. I was reading Barna's survey.

  93. I got fed up after about five minutes.

  94. George Barna did a survey of Christians across the country just last year during the COVID crisis.

  95. I think what spurred them is how many churches just folded up and shut their doors?

  96. Have you ever seen so many chicken littles in your entire life?

  97. I was shocked.

  98. I knew the church needed waking up.

  99. I knew the church was in kind of rough condition, but I had no idea.

  100. And so God used this horrible thing.

  101. He didn't send it, but he used it to expose the absolute lack of faith, the absolute lack of lighting up with God's Word, god's covenant I mean, we have a covenant of healing.

  102. What in the world are we doing?

  103. Listening to a bunch of lies and believing them?

  104. I'm not saying that COVID doesn't exist.

  105. I know it exists, but I you know to be afraid of it, oh hallelujah.

  106. So in this survey I mean there was a huge percentage.

  107. I started looking at the evangelicals.

  108. I got so disgusted looking at that section of the study that I couldn't move on to our side.

  109. Our side's not a whole lot better.

  110. What's our side?

  111. Well, they lump us in the charismatic Pentecostal, but we're neither one of those.

  112. But that's the closest they can come to Word of faith.

  113. People, and you know, how do you?

  114. How do you what is an evangelical?

  115. Somebody believes in being born again.

  116. I mean, you know the whole premise of being born again means you need a savior.

  117. It means that Jesus is the spotless, sinless lamb of God who died for your sins in your place and you receive Him into your heart and you're born again.

  118. That's the only way you can go to heaven.

  119. You must be born again.

  120. John 3, 16,.

  121. How many football games do you see with people?

  122. And none now, because there's nobody in the stands except cardboard cutouts, but anyway, you know they used to hold up the sign.

  123. John 3, 16.

  124. Amen, that's evangelical.

  125. And among evangelicals, almost half of them don't believe that Jesus lived a sinless life.

  126. Almost half of them don't believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.

  127. 70-some odd percent of them believe the Holy Ghost is a symbol.

  128. Are you with me now?

  129. So forgive me if I just preach the things that I take for granted.

  130. I want to drill it in until you kind of like a football player.

  131. You know I like football coach, like Vince Lombardi.

  132. You know he got up with the Green Bay Packers when he took over and they were a losing team and his first team meeting he held up a football.

  133. So, gentlemen, this is a football.

  134. You got back to the basics.

  135. You know this is a football.

  136. And so you say, well, I've heard this, I've heard.

  137. Well, hear it again, it's water, you're going to.

  138. Your chances are, you've got people in your family that I'm just talking about right now.

  139. They have drifted away from the Bible and they need an example.

  140. They need somebody that's just bright and shining and sure of themselves, bold, bold enough to speak the truth in love.

  141. I mean, let's not be a fire hose.

  142. Sometimes.

  143. We just need to sprinkle.

  144. Praise the Lord, hallelujah, glory to God.

  145. Just sprinkle.

  146. You know sprinkle.

  147. You take the fire hose and you turn people off, but you know the truth and the truth will make you free.

  148. It will keep you free.

  149. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous.

  150. So we're prayer.

  151. What is prayer?

  152. Well, it's communication with God, it's joining forces with God that's another wonderful definition.

  153. And we're invited to around the corporate boardroom table, god and sons, unlimited.

  154. We're in on the highest levels of the CEO, god, the father, and Jesus, the president of the company, and we're in him, by the way, we're in him, so we're not excluded.

  155. We have a place where we can receive what God, his vision and his desires, not only for our life but for our ministry and for this world and for this nation.

  156. That's what's lacking in the church the power of prayer.

  157. I mean when you, when you have earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer from the position of your redemptive reality, your redemptive truth, that you are worthy, that he made you worthy by his blood.

  158. You're not some underling that, just waiting for him to tell you a little, every little thing to do, he wanting you to get out in front and lead.

  159. So I bumper sticker one time lead, follow or get out of the way.

  160. You know the tremendous power available through prayer.

  161. And so the implication I'm always looking.

  162. Maybe I don't know, I'm wired different than a lot of folks, but I, when I see that, I think about.

  163. Well, what about the power vacuum when prayer is not made, when prayer is not continued, when prayer is not made, from a position of the redemptive reality of being righteous, from that place in the boardroom where we decree and declare we don't beg, there's a king beg.

  164. Oh.

  165. They're rebelling over there.

  166. Oh, oh, I don't know what to do.

  167. They're they're.

  168. They're trying to rebel against my orders.

  169. Would somebody please go over there and reason with them.

  170. Please go over to Pasadena and see if there's anything you can do.

  171. They're just, they've turned against me.

  172. I don't know what's wrong, just just with a play.

  173. No, the king says go into Pasadena and clean up the mess.

  174. I'm just using Pasadena.

  175. If you're from Pasadena, we love you.

  176. I grew up in Galena Park.

  177. We always were rivals, you know, back there, one on one side of the ship channel and the other on the other side of the ship.

  178. But anyway, you know.

  179. John Wesley said God does nothing but an answer to prayer.

  180. Now we want God to move.

  181. Well, we need to pray.

  182. Kenneth Copeland said all failure in Christian enterprise is a prayer failure.

  183. Ow Well, I've lived that.

  184. I've had plenty of failure in my businesses and I, every one of them was a failure for me to connect up with God in prayer to find out exactly what I was, exactly what I should have done in a particular situation.

  185. Every situation where I've suffered financial loss was a mistake of not finding out from God what His perfect will was.

  186. This is the general will of God.

  187. This right here is the general will of God.

  188. But if you ever want to know specifically what God's will is, you're going to have to be a person of prayer.

  189. And so Jesus said men ought always to pray and not to lose heart, not to give up.

  190. Luke 18.

  191. In James, chapter four, james said that only there's only two reasons that any person has not, and that is they ask not.

  192. Or else they ask with the wrong motive, or they ask for the wrong thing, or they ask not according to God's will.

  193. Well, what is God's will?

  194. What is this general will again?

  195. But then there's specific will.

  196. See, if you're praying about something you don't know specifically, you're asking for something that is not the best.

  197. It might be good, but it's not the best.

  198. It may be okay, but it's not consistent with His plan for your life.

  199. So when you're asking for something like that, be careful what you ask for.

  200. You might get it, and it's not God's best.

  201. Good is the enemy of best.

  202. How many of you want God's best?

  203. You got to be a person of prayer.

  204. You've got to be able to make the connection, the prayer connection.

  205. That's when you connect with the one who created everything.

  206. He's on your side, he loves you.

  207. He's led you through the fire.

  208. He didn't lead you into the fire to burn you up.

  209. He'll lead you through it.

  210. Sometimes between here and there there's a mountain.

  211. I like what brother Mark said.

  212. He said you know, if you only knew what was on the other side of the mountain, you wouldn't wait so long to move it, amen.

  213. So as we start talking about this, we'll be another took a couple of weeks probably.

  214. There's just foundational points that we all need to remind ourselves of.

  215. And again we're growing.

  216. We have people that are new, people that are coming from denominational churches, people that have never even really been taught anything about prayer other than Lord.

  217. If it be thy will.

  218. I mean the other were taught to pray like that.

  219. If it be thy will Lord, like for Sister Jones.

  220. You know, y'all all remember Sister Jones.

  221. She's sick, she's in the hospital.

  222. So pray for Sister Jones.

  223. So if you were taught that way, you would pray for Sister Jones like this oh Lord, if it be thy will, heal Sister Jones, we'll finish the prayer, but if not, go ahead and kill her.

  224. But you didn't say the second part.

  225. Isn't that what the implication?

  226. The implication is you don't know what God's will is, even though it's written down here, as clear as it can be, big old billboard on the side of the road healing is God's will.

  227. Jesus never prayed, if it be thy will, except one time, in the garden, and he didn't really mean it.

  228. He didn't really mean it.

  229. He was suffering so much.

  230. What was he suffering?

  231. Over?

  232. The prospect of the first time ever in eternity, of being separated from the bright presence of the Father.

  233. That's what he was.

  234. He wasn't suffering over the fear of the nails, the fear of the crucifixion, he was suffering over the prospect of being separated from the bright presence of the Father.

  235. He said, oh God, let this cup pass from me Nevertheless, not as I will, but thy will.

  236. Well, he knew what the will of God was.

  237. He knew exactly why he was there, and so we picked that.

  238. That's a prayer of consecration.

  239. And so you could pray the prayer of consecration like that if you don't know what the will of God is Before you know.

  240. See, I like to pray about what to pray about.

  241. Sometimes it saves a lot of trouble and time If you pray about what to pray about, you pray.

  242. Sometimes we go right for the jugular before we know, before we know what really the whole matter is.

  243. And so you know, I like to, just, I just, you know, I'm not commit God.

  244. I said God, I'm not sure exactly what you want me to do in this situation.

  245. I just want you to know, no matter what your will is, I'm committed to it.

  246. See, that's, if it be, that will.

  247. You can pray like that in certain circumstances, but don't stay there.

  248. Go ahead and press in in prayer and find out what it is that he wants you to do.

  249. Amen, all right.

  250. So so foundational point prayer is not trying to get God's attention because, frankly, if he ever quit paying attention to you, you drop dead.

  251. That's it.

  252. So the fact that everybody check your pulse, have you got one?

  253. Well then, our God's paying attention.

  254. He knows right where you are.

  255. You get pulses still going strong, amen.

  256. So that's not what prayer is.

  257. Prayer is not trying to get God to do something.

  258. God, ah, god, heal our land.

  259. Ah God, heal me.

  260. Oh God, well, he already healed you, jesus.

  261. See, when you're praying prayers that Jesus has already accomplished, see, that's not redemptive truth, that's a vain prayer, it borders on insolence.

  262. What do you do with a soldier who disobeys orders?

  263. What do you do?

  264. You throw him in the brig when it gets bad, depending on how critical their orders are.

  265. I want you to.

  266. You know, lieutenant, I want you to take that hill over there.

  267. Oh, I can't do that, man, somebody might die.

  268. I mean, you know, that's what happened in World War II.

  269. You know, general Patton came up on a colonel who just wouldn't, he didn't want to take his boys over there because it was gonna be too heavy a load.

  270. He said you're fired, captain, come over here, take over.

  271. I mean, captain took the place of the colonel.

  272. You're now a colonel, did a battlefield promotion right there.

  273. You know, I mean, god's not cruel, but he has a will, and you'll never know what it is until you have be a person of prayer.

  274. Y'all, y'all getting a picture here, pastor, I've known of it Well, I know.

  275. Just be refreshed in it, because nobody's ever lived where we've lived right here.

  276. We are living in unprecedented times.

  277. Don't take this message for granted.

  278. I just I, I exhort you I almost said commanded, but I kind of harsh.

  279. I'll exhort you.

  280. Don't take this message for granted.

  281. We have got to be people of prayer like never before.

  282. I mean, some of you are more developed than others.

  283. We all need to develop and we need to develop for our sake and we need to develop for each other's sake because we are a body.

  284. So you know, prayer is communication with God.

  285. It's a two-way communication.

  286. It's dialogue, and quit thinking about a voice, quit thinking about how God is gonna talk to you.

  287. I mean, you know God communicates.

  288. Everybody say communicates.

  289. He communicates spirit to spirit.

  290. His major communication is right here.

  291. So when you read it, you're reading.

  292. His communication to you Must be important or he wouldn't have holy men of God inspired by the Holy Spirit.

  293. To write all this down Must be vital.

  294. You know we have these cars nowadays.

  295. You know, back when I bought my first car, it was pretty simple.

  296. You know I could work on it.

  297. I worked on my own cars for years.

  298. Until now I can't work on my own car anymore because it's computers and it's man.

  299. It's an electronic marvel and if you don't know that well, you kind of.

  300. It's kind of hard to mess with a car anymore and when something goes wrong, I've learned that I have to consult the owner's manual.

  301. Well, here's your owner's manual, right here.

  302. We are living in unprecedented times when Christians, who call themselves Christians I don't know who's real or who's not.

  303. I thought my job to try to figure that out.

  304. But real Christians, let's just say they really are born again.

  305. But they're in churches that are not majoring on the Bible.

  306. They're not majoring on letting the Holy Spirit do what he wants to do Are you with me now?

  307. And so they're at a loss.

  308. They don't really know what to do right now.

  309. They don't know when they're, they don't know whether to take the vaccine or not.

  310. They hear this, they hear that they don't know, and they don't even know how to pray to find out God's guidance on it.

  311. I'm just saying I'm not taking it, but I thought guidance for you.

  312. I can't tell you that.

  313. I wouldn't tell you that.

  314. That's not my job to tell you whether to get a shot.

  315. Number one it's not a vaccine that might help you right there.

  316. Not a vaccine, it's a lie, it's gene therapy.

  317. If that helps you, fine.

  318. If it doesn't do your own research.

  319. I did mine.

  320. I don't believe the government.

  321. I don't believe what they're selling.

  322. If you took the shot, it's okay.

  323. I count you that you took it in faith.

  324. If you're gonna take it, you better take it in faith.

  325. Well, that's true of any shot, that's true of any medical decision that you make, praise God.

  326. But I'm telling you, in a way of information, that I'm not gonna take it.

  327. It's already come up.

  328. The doctor was asking, glad to say are you gonna take the shot you need to take?

  329. No, not take it.

  330. Oh, oh, get prepared for the PR campaign that's gonna roll out of Washington trying to demand that you take it.

  331. So really, you need to be a person of prayer.

  332. Right now we're facing unprecedented decisions.

  333. Some of you your job made you I mean Methodist Hospital came out with an email to me and said oh, we're for the vaccine, we want you to take it bye-bye-bye, which I know that everybody that works for Methodist has to take it.

  334. They're requiring it.

  335. I think that's really heavy-handed.

  336. When it's not a vaccine and they know it, what do you mean?

  337. It's not a vaccine?

  338. Well, it can't prevent COVID.

  339. It doesn't prevent COVID.

  340. It supposedly reduces the symptoms of COVID.

  341. That's not a vaccine, all right.

  342. So enough of just one.

  343. That's just one thing.

  344. We've got multitudes of things coming down the pike.

  345. Folks, if you think last year and them shutting down churches was unique, get ready, let's strap up, let's get our prayer armor on, cause there's a whole lot more coming.

  346. I don't say that to make you fearful, I'm just saying it's time for us to pray.

  347. The church has to be a body of prayer, communicating with God.

  348. He has a way of communicating to you and sometimes it includes, you know, a visitation like a voice or something, but most of the time it's just knowing.

  349. Most of the time he just communicates spirit to spirit and you just have a knowing down on in here and you know it takes trust.

  350. You have to trust that and that takes faith.

  351. Well, faith coming by what Hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  352. So this message is being given to you to build your faith in your ability to hear from God through prayer.

  353. That's the bottom line of this message, these messages.

  354. You know the early church continued in prayer.

  355. They got baptized in the Holy ghost, you know.

  356. And the Pentecost happened and 3,000 Jews got saved on the very first day of, you know, peter preaching to them.

  357. The church grew just like that and they started growing by leaps and bounds.

  358. And the Bible says that they continued in prayer.

  359. And just look, look at the great things that happen when, because they continued in prayer, every need was met.

  360. Met, not one.

  361. Not one person was poor.

  362. Everybody's needs were met financially.

  363. Are you with me now?

  364. As I said before, we're headed into a season when it's vital for us as a church, not only individually but corporately, to be able to pray.

  365. I I challenge y'all to come to Power hour plus next week, next Sunday night week from now.

  366. I know it's Sunday night.

  367. Well, I don't usually come to church on Sunday night.

  368. Make an exception.

  369. The church needs to be praying.

  370. I Said the church needs to be praying.

  371. We handle things offline on Sunday night.

  372. There's no Facebook, there's no YouTube.

  373. We pray the way we need to pray.

  374. I'll leave it at that so we can stay on.

  375. I don't necessarily like to say things just automatically to get us cut off, but people are getting cut off.

  376. They're doctors that are being cut off, that have a different opinion about everything that's going on right now medically and don't tell anybody.

  377. But we're we're inquiring about some of those things.

  378. So we don't have any announcement yet to make, but I Believe there's some announcements coming along those lines.

  379. You know our divine destinies are linked together.

  380. I mean, you know, yes, it's important individually for us to learn how to pray, but it's it's just in fact even more important.

  381. I mean, corporate prayer is limited by the individual Ability to pray.

  382. I mean, if somebody just doesn't know how to pray, it's never been in a kind of a corporate prayer meeting.

  383. I mean, if you've been in a prayer meeting where it's just a bunch of people telling God what he should have done or All of that kind of thing masquerading his prayer, have you ever heard a prayer of?

  384. Like us?

  385. It was a Sermon disguised as a prayer.

  386. You know those kind of that's not praying, and so you know more is coughed and taught.

  387. So come Next Sunday night to power hour plus.

  388. It'll help your personal prayer life.

  389. It'll help you get a key about what you should be praying along the lines of our government, our country, our state, and It'll also help you to learn how to pray and get loose and and not be so.

  390. Baby Babish, we need to have mature prayer lives.

  391. I Mean a prayer for some people is just a long laundry list of requests.

  392. God, give it to me.

  393. Give it to me.

  394. Give it to me right now.

  395. Give it to me.

  396. Give it to me.

  397. Give it to me, god, I need a new car.

  398. Give it to me, give it to me, give it to me Right.

  399. Amen.

  400. Let's grow up.

  401. Let's grow up also in first Corinthians, 12, 26.

  402. When one suffers, we all suffer.

  403. So if somebody was going through the fire, you probably know it.

  404. If you're in this church, like you should be, you should know people well enough.

  405. There ought to be a number of people that you're connected to in this church.

  406. And how do you do that?

  407. Well, you get involved.

  408. You don't just come, you get involved.

  409. You find a place to serve and you serve.

  410. When you serve alongside people, you get to know them.

  411. Sometimes you start going out to eat and we're from all over town.

  412. I mean, we have people come from all different directions.

  413. How are you going to ever know each other right here, under these walls, under the in these, in this place?

  414. And?

  415. And you get to serve in next to people and then you get touched with what they're going through and see when one suffers, we all suffer.

  416. When one is promoted and blessed.

  417. We're all promoted in.

  418. Bless.

  419. That's what's got to develop in this church right now, because all we're gonna have shortly is each other.

  420. It's coming, I'm telling you, it's coming.

  421. There's coming a place of upheaval, there's coming a place of disorder in the nation and it can't invade this place right here.

  422. We've got to be, we've got to stay strong together.

  423. We've got to know each other enough to where we can pick each other up when things are tough.

  424. Are y'all with me now?

  425. Who?

  426. I don't know if I'm being encouraged.

  427. Well, I'm in.

  428. I'm giving you the Word of God.

  429. We've got the name of Jesus.

  430. We've got the Word of God.

  431. We've got the Holy Ghost.

  432. We've got all we need to have power, tremendous power.

  433. Everybody say tremendous power.

  434. I Just loading your gun.

  435. I Know you're not supposed to have more than eight bullets in the magazine, but I'm getting you, giving you a whole lot more than that.

  436. Actually, you've had an endless supply of ammo.

  437. What if you had a gun that never ran out of ammo?

  438. What if it had a supernatural barrel that didn't get overheated when you kept firing on full automatic?

  439. Hour, one hour, two hour, three.

  440. There is no such gun in the natural, but Our guns are supernatural.

  441. Everybody say I've received that fresh ammo, I need fresh in.

  442. Just think about the collective firepower in this church when we start, when we start praying, the collective firepower in this church, I mean it doesn't take a mega church, it doesn't take millions of people praying.

  443. I tell you it, just take it.

  444. Just look at what happened in the Bible.

  445. I mean just you know, the church at Jerusalem started praying and angels broke Peter out of jail.

  446. Paul and Silas prayed and and God invaded an earthquake and broke them out of jail and broke everybody else out of jail.

  447. That was just two.

  448. Oh hallelujah, come on, let's lift our hands.

  449. Father, we thank you for the tremendous power.

  450. Everybody say tremendous power.

  451. So when you're under attack, you can receive From the rest of this body.

  452. What happens when your little finger hurts?

  453. Well, your whole body is trying to get it healed, as your whole body is.

  454. It's paying attention.

  455. I mean you know you get a hang.

  456. That if you ever had a hang nail, that's the silliest thing in the world.

  457. Little old thing, it's not bigger and just a little thing and man, it hurts like and you you're totally aware of that little old burr on there.

  458. I mean you put your hand in your pocket and see, that's the way it should be, in the glorious way, church at one member.

  459. One member is going through something the spirit of God is is Broadcasting in the spirit realm and people are picking you up in prayer that don't even know what the situation is.

  460. They don't even know it's you, but they're praying.

  461. See, that's what I'm talking about.

  462. That's what I'm talking about.

  463. Oh, the value of being a member of a church is, in it's, invaluable In the season.

  464. It's always been that way.

  465. But in the season we're facing, we're gonna need each other, and some of us just need to adjust our receivers.

  466. I just grew up in the 50s.

  467. I remember we moved from Galena Park to a little place called Rafferio, texas.

  468. It's about 40 miles from the nearest television station in Corpus Christi, and this is the 50s.

  469. And so my dad, in order to get a TV, to even pick up a signal, he had to have a mast on the side of the house.

  470. It was about three stories tall, four stories tall.

  471. I mean we're way up in the clouds, almost.

  472. Of course, I'm a kid, so everything looked huge.

  473. It's funny if you ever gone back to where you grew up and everything looked so tiny, but when you were a kid it looked huge, but anyway.

  474. So that's what I thought was that big old antenna, big old antenna about as big as this right here, and it had a motor on it.

  475. So on the top of the TV set you'd turn this thing and it would go click, click, click and the whole antenna would hmm, hmm, hmm and would turn, and so then that's what it took to get a snowy picture on our television.

  476. So it wasn't any good.

  477. I mean, you're watching television was a drag, because you're just looking at a snowstorm, but with a faint, you know, human.

  478. But you had to tune the receiver.

  479. My point is you tune the receiver.

  480. Sometimes we're not receiving what God is saying, and prayer sharpens our receivers.

  481. Prayer begins to let us know what God.

  482. And again, don't be listening for voices.

  483. It's not about voices, it's about knowing, and God is able to communicate with you.

  484. Prayer is a two way community.

  485. It's a dialogue.

  486. It's not a laundry list of gimme, gimme, gimme.

  487. It is a communication between the most high God, the God that made everything and has created you to occupy a place in his army in the last days.

  488. Oh, you're people of destiny, amen.

  489. We need to be people of prayer.

  490. And when we are, when we get our, you know when we're under attack, we get some help.

  491. And when we need to adjust our receivers, you know when we do.

  492. That's where the tremendous power comes up.

  493. That's when the picture clears up.

  494. Amen, are you with me now?

  495. So the first.

  496. I got three things to leave with you this morning.

  497. First of all, three truths to begin with.

  498. We'll continue next week.

  499. Number one Ephesians, chapter one and two.

  500. Let's look at that, brother Mark.

  501. Last time he was here and, by the way, he's coming back, july, the 25th, sunday morning, sunday night.

  502. So he's coming back.

  503. He and Trenton, they like it here.

  504. They might have to buy a house out here or something.

  505. Maybe they could buy a house in the neighborhood next door.

  506. I don't know.

  507. I'm kind of teasing, but maybe not.

  508. All right, ephesians one and we're praying these Ephesians prayers.

  509. That's a good way to start praying and keep praying that way.

  510. I cease not to give thanks for you Verse 16, making mention of you and my prayers.

  511. And we praise this that the God of our Lord, jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him.

  512. We need to know God.

  513. How can you know God?

  514. You can only know God by His word and His spirit.

  515. The eyes of your understanding be enlightened.

  516. Your receiver is turned to the right channel that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what the riches of the glory of His inheritance and the saints, what exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, and what kind of power is that?

  517. According to the working of His mighty power, which he brought in Christ when he raised Him from the dead, the tremendous power that we wield in prayer is no less than resurrection power.

  518. It's the power that raised Christ from the dead.

  519. It's the power that raised you and I from the dead.

  520. The same, and it's the same power that seeded Christ in the heavenlies and it's the same power that seeded us with Christ and in Christ that baptized us into Christ.

  521. So when you start praying like this, you're gonna have more confidence in your praying.

  522. If you still have to call or Roberts, and you still have to call this prayer line and that prayer line to feel like anybody's heard you, then you need to grow in this right here.

  523. That's not what it ought to be.

  524. It shouldn't be that way.

  525. Thank God that there's a prayer line, thank God, that people can call when they need prayer.

  526. But they have see they're incomplete, they are not where they need to be in prayer.

  527. You would never feel the need to call anybody Now.

  528. It's good to have agreement, but you don't absolutely have to have agreement as far as that goes.

  529. When you really know who you are in Christ, what power was used when he raised you from the dead?

  530. And that's the same power that you're broadcasting when you believe God and speak according to His word or pray.

  531. It's that power, everybody.

  532. Say that power, that power, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality of power, might and dominion, every name that's named, both in this age and that which is to come.

  533. And he's put all things under His feet.

  534. Where are the feet in the body Giving Him to be the head over?

  535. All things to His head, no, to His church.

  536. Where is the church On the earth?

  537. See how vain it is to ask God to heal our land when he has given all things to the church, to put all things under the church's feet, to bring everything under its dominion.

  538. And we're here.

  539. Who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who.

  540. Come on, come on, come on, come on, let's grow up.

  541. Amen.

  542. And you, verse chapter two, verse one.

  543. And you, he didn't forget about you.

  544. You hath he quickened, made alive.

  545. You were dead in trespasses.

  546. But God, verse four.

  547. But God, who's rich in mercy for His great love, wherewith he loved you have, even when you were dead and sin, hath quickened you together with Christ, made you alive and seated you together with Christ.

  548. So when you pray, you're seated in heavenly places.

  549. I was talking about the boardroom, I was talking about sitting at the table of God and Son's unlimited.

  550. That's right from this verse, right here, that I picked up 40 years ago.

  551. I've been walking in this revelation and let me tell you, when you begin to walk in this kind of revelation, when you begin to see that this is the kind of power you have, get ready for a battle, because the devil is not gonna sit around and just let you walk over him.

  552. He's gonna fight you back.

  553. Don't be surprised if it looks like you lost your healing.

  554. Don't be surprised if the doctor gives you a bad report.

  555. Don't be surprised if your finances go pfft, just know, ah, I struck a nerve.

  556. Ha ha, ha.

  557. Glory to God.

  558. I got you on the receipt.

  559. Don't take it as a oh, I got him on the run, no, you got him on the run.

  560. Amen, ha ha, ha.

  561. Oh, we've just looked at it so wrong.

  562. We just look at ourselves as victims.

  563. That's how this whole world is operating.

  564. That's how the Democrats have constructed this power grab.

  565. They've made victims out of every person.

  566. That's weird.

  567. Every person that's got a problem, every person that's got a perceived outrage, everybody's.

  568. I mean most of it's 200 years ago and they're still all up.

  569. Come on, this is the 21st century.

  570. It's all lies.

  571. You're far above all circumstances, far above all attacks that he might try to bring.

  572. Are you with me now?

  573. You're.

  574. Everybody say my position.

  575. And then, of course, the power that's released is the same power that raised Christ through the dead, raised you from the dead.

  576. That's the power we're talking about.

  577. There's been no other power ever existed in the universe, including creation.

  578. Now, creation was a lot of power, but let me tell you something Christ was raised from the dead.

  579. That was greater.

  580. I said that was greater.

  581. When we were raised from the dead, when we got saved, that was greater.

  582. And that's the power of our religion.

  583. When we pray in the name of Jesus and we take the time to pray about what to pray about, when we take the time to know where we're coming from.

  584. In prayer, you don't ever have to ask God's will for healing.

  585. It's healing is God's will for everybody.

  586. You don't have to ask God's will if it's His will to meet your financial needs.

  587. It's His will for you to.

  588. There might be some things you need to change.

  589. There might be some things you need to do, but as far as God on the God side, there's a supply for you, and so what you're gonna discover is you get more and more mature in prayers, as a whole lot of praying that you've been doing in vain, and you're gonna find out that you're gonna do a lot more saying than praying.

  590. Just like a king Kings just don't ask, kings don't ask, they just decree.

  591. Now, you can't do this in pride.

  592. You can't do this.

  593. You can't do this just like witchcraft.

  594. You don't have dominion over somebody else's will, somebody else's behavior.

  595. You can't do that.

  596. But you can bind the devil over people.

  597. I mean, bind the devil over that old cussin' cigar chewing boss.

  598. It's just appreciating you on every side.

  599. Rebuke the devil and bake him a cake.

  600. Rebuke the devil.

  601. Bake him a cake.

  602. Rebuke the devil.

  603. Bake him a cake, rebuke, all right.

  604. And then the place of safety, ephesians 6-11,.

  605. Let's look at that one.

  606. I pray this every day, or I say it, I don't pray it, I say it.

  607. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wilds, the military strategies of the devil, for wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places.

  608. Wherefore, take under you the whole armor of God, the entire armor.

  609. When you read each piece, it's a revelation of what the devil attacks.

  610. You look at each piece of the armor.

  611. Every one of them is defensive in nature, in nature, except one, and which is that the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.

  612. I used to think the sword of the spirit was one of these big, long swords with a curve and a curve.

  613. You know, like I could stand about 10 feet away and whew, whew, whew, you know, but really it's a dagger that you use in hand to hand combat.

  614. I mean, you're gonna get real up close and personal with these kind of spirits.

  615. And they stink, they got bad breath, they got BO.

  616. They're nasty, but you've gotta take the word of God, you've gotta get down in the gutter with them and fight them in the gutter.

  617. They're gonna attack you every way they can, but all of these pieces of armor, everybody say the entire armor.

  618. Yes, sir, above all, verse 16, taking the shield of faith where which you're able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

  619. Praying always verse 18.

  620. So it's prayer armor, praying always with all manner of prayer.

  621. When you pray, you need to make sure that you are seated at the right hand of God, with the entire armor of God on.

  622. That's the only place of safety.

  623. Amen, I said, that's the only place of safety.

  624. And then, as you begin to pray and get God's perspective on things and that's what's the perspective far above, far above, I mean, you're looking down on the devil.

  625. You're looking down on these demon powers, all these ones that are listed here principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world.

  626. Those are ruling spirits that are more sophisticated.

  627. Really, down here, what we have are demons.

  628. Somebody wants to know what a demon is.

  629. I don't know.

  630. It's not clearly defined.

  631. It is not the spirit of fallen angels.

  632. There are such things.

  633. Some of them are locked away, they're gonna be loosed.

  634. In the book of Revelation there's gonna be demons, angels, that are loosed in the river Euphrates.

  635. It talks about that.

  636. There were angel-like spirits, the Prince of Persia, in the book of Daniel, where Daniel was praying and fasting for deliverance, you know, for his nation, and finally an angel appears to him.

  637. Oh, daniel, greatly beloved, at thy first day, the first day you sought to seek the Lord, I was sent, but the Prince of Persia withstood me.

  638. One in 20 days.

  639. I mean, I had to get an angel, michael the archangel, to help me.

  640. So there are angelic powers.

  641. Those are things that we don't deal with that much.

  642. I mean indirectly.

  643. We do Indirectly.

  644. As we pray the word, our angels hearken under the voice of our words and they go and fight those.

  645. So you don't have to be fooling around binding those directly, just pray the word.

  646. But lower demons are just directing lower class rulers of darkness.

  647. They're classified like an army, like I'm not teaching on spiritual warfare and I'm not teaching on the demonic side of things yet today.

  648. But it's a place that we touch in prayer.

  649. You have to know you have an enemy and so for this purpose it's just good enough to bind the devil.

  650. Binding.

  651. Bind the devil and demon powers.

  652. Let him know that he can't rule over you, amen.

  653. So our place of safety is to be seated by faith in that heavenly seating, arrayed with the entire armor of God.

  654. And this armor is prayer armor.

  655. It's what protects us when we go out in the spirit realm and we start praying over our nation, we start praying over each other when we know that there are people in trouble in the church or our family or whatever we're praying for.

  656. We need that whole armor of God on amen, amen.

  657. The power of prayer will continue next week.

  658. Come on, lift your hands and receive today.

  659. Glory be to God.
