  1. to pick up your bibles, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

  2. Let's say this together say, heavenly Father, I have the victory.

  3. He's made me more than a conqueror.

  4. More than a conqueror, more than the circumstances of life.

  5. There are no match for the greater one that lives in me.

  6. Thank you, father, for giving me the Holy Ghost.

  7. Spirit of God, have your way in my life, shine your light on this Word today.

  8. I put it first place.

  9. It has the preeminence and the priority in my life and by that Word and through the Spirit, I do have the victory.

  10. In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

  11. Praise God, turning your bibles to Deuteronomy 11 and Hebrews 11.

  12. And we'll get into the Word today.

  13. Praise God Last week.

  14. If you weren't here, make sure you get the media on defeating deception.

  15. It is a Word for right now and there's such massive deception both in the church and outside the church and it's very, very.

  16. You know it's a cautionary message.

  17. It's got hope, it's got encouragement, but let's wake up and smell the coffee and let's be very particular about what we ingest.

  18. You know, don't get let astray online, don't get led astray by some of these ear tickling messages.

  19. Deuteronomy 11.

  20. The word Deuteronomy means a second giving of the law.

  21. This is Moses, after he's 120, he's given his wrap up to the second generation.

  22. This is the children of the people who disobeyed God, wouldn't go in and possess the land, and so now they're about to go in.

  23. Joshua is going to lead them, and so he's rehearsing a lot of the you know, giving them the law all over again and talking about their history.

  24. And in verse 13, he says and it shall come to pass if everybody shout if.

  25. In fact, let's just shout if five times.

  26. Come on, if, if, if, if, if.

  27. Right, there's a lot of ifs in the Bible.

  28. If you will harken occasionally, no, diligently, to my command, which I command you this day to.

  29. And what were they?

  30. Well, there's a lot of commandments, man.

  31. They had all you know, the Jewish laws.

  32. It's just, it's got a lot of stuff.

  33. But basically, to love the Lord, your God, and to serve him with all your heart and your, all your soul.

  34. That's a bottom line.

  35. They're commanded to love God and to serve him.

  36. Everybody say I'm loving and serving my God.

  37. If, see, if you'll do that, then I'll give you blessings.

  38. That doesn't say the word blessings.

  39. Well, just listen to what it does say it's.

  40. These are blessings.

  41. I will give you the rain of your land and due season, the first rain and the latter rain that you may gather in your corn, your wine and your oil, and I will send grass in your fields for that cattle and you'll all just starve to death, declare bankruptcy.

  42. No, you're going to eat and you're going to be full.

  43. You're going to have all of the fajitas you could eat.

  44. Gladys says I preach way too much about food.

  45. So that's the blessing.

  46. That's the title of this message Obedience brings blessing.

  47. Everybody shout that obedience brings blessing.

  48. See, you know some people.

  49. They don't think they have to obey God, they just live in the, you know, over the greasy grace message.

  50. Just don't just shun that that's.

  51. It's full of wrong doctrine.

  52. I said it's full of wrong doctrine, the pages torn out of the Bible.

  53. So let's, let's, let's stick with what the word says, all right.

  54. And let's look at Hebrews 11.

  55. Well, that's the old testament.

  56. Well, I'm going to get to the new Testament.

  57. Amen, and many of you have a covenant with God and that covenant has blessings associated with it.

  58. But they're what?

  59. Conditional?

  60. On what Obedience?

  61. All right, hebrews 11, six.

  62. But without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he that come at the God should believe, could believe, might believe, must.

  63. Look at the word must.

  64. What does that look like?

  65. Looks like a condition.

  66. Looks like a condition.

  67. You must believe that he number one is.

  68. Oh, I believe that.

  69. Well, yeah, but you have to act like it.

  70. Some people don't even live and act like God is real, that he watches and sees and hears everything.

  71. I think if people lived in the idea that God was watching and listening to everything they said and did, they would not act and say and do the things they do.

  72. But that's another message.

  73. All right, so you must believe that he is, and everybody shout.

  74. In second condition, that he is a rewarder of those who occasionally seek him like a day's actually seeking diligently.

  75. See that word diligent is in the New Testament, just like it was in the Old Testament diligently seek him.

  76. Now listen to what the Greek word seek means.

  77. It means to crave.

  78. If you ever had a craving when Gladys was pregnant with the Claire, our daughter, she, she had a craving for pickled pigs feet.

  79. Has anybody ever had pickled pigs feet?

  80. There's a big crowd over in this section, this section.

  81. I knew they smelled a little funny, but anyway.

  82. Well, you know it's nine o'clock on a Tuesday night.

  83. I mean, where are you going to find?

  84. I don't know what I got, but I got something and brought it home that night and she ate it until she got sick, craving to crave him, to have a God, craving that you're just possessed with desire for him and his presence.

  85. They are craved.

  86. It means to worship like we did this morning.

  87. Oh God, what a worship service.

  88. I could have just gone.

  89. We could have just worshiped the whole day.

  90. But the Word of God is important.

  91. It's not just a worship service.

  92. It's worship is part of our service.

  93. But we need the Word of God.

  94. We need it.

  95. He's a rewarder of those who diligently worship him and crave him and inquire of him and investigate.

  96. Those are all part of that word seek.

  97. And so you can see that that obedience brings blessings.

  98. But obedience is not automatic.

  99. Obedience has to be on purpose.

  100. It's seldom, obedience is seldom practiced, just like as an afterthought.

  101. You have to plan on obeying God In the short term.

  102. It's almost always is a sacrifice.

  103. The act of obedience is telling God he is God and you are, and he is King forever.

  104. He is Lord forever and you are subject to him and you are his love slave.

  105. Slave is not a good word anymore, but that's really what we are.

  106. Well, I thought the Bible says we're.

  107. So we are, but we have a slave mentality.

  108. When it comes to God, we'll do anything and everything he says to do.

  109. We crave to hear what he has to say and you get in that kind of attitude.

  110. Blessings are coming your way, hallelujah.

  111. So all the blessings of God.

  112. You know, god told Israel he'd send the rain if they diligently harken and he would undo his commandments.

  113. So the rain he talked about sent, sent wealth and blessing.

  114. You know, israel was an agricultural society.

  115. Well, pastor, I don't have any land, I don't have any of that.

  116. Well, it just means that your land, say your land, is not necessarily your physical land.

  117. It includes your life, it includes your home, your career, your profession, your business, your, everything that has to do with your inheritance.

  118. Rain is a supernatural thing that falls down on your own, your world, and your world begins to produce for you.

  119. Are you with me now?

  120. And that's what he said.

  121. He said, if you'll do according to my word, if you'll love the Lord, your God, serve me.

  122. I bless you, I give you plenty of corn and wine and oil.

  123. I give you everything you won't need in abundance.

  124. And so he said I enjoy chapter two, which is what Peter preached out on the day of Pentecost.

  125. Well, he's just preaching Old Testament.

  126. Well, it's leaked over into the New Testament.

  127. You got news for you.

  128. But Joel, chapter two, says be glad, then you children's sign, for I've given you the former reign moderately, but I'm gonna cause for you to come down the reign, the former and the latter reign, in the first month, and your floor shall be what Full of wheat, and your vat shall overflow with wine and oil, and you'll praise the name of the Lord, your God, who had dealt wondrously with you.

  129. Amen, and I'll rebuke the devourer for your sake.

  130. I'll rebuke the locust and what the locust has done, I'll restore the years that they've stolen.

  131. What in the world is he talking about?

  132. Well, peter preached that on the day of Pentecost.

  133. And Peter comes out of the upper room, upper room, and was he one of the 12?

  134. Yeah, he was one of the 12.

  135. He was one of the 120.

  136. There was 120 people.

  137. We get fixated on the 12, but there was 120 up there in the upper room.

  138. I want you to listen to this.

  139. And he comes stumbling down the stairs and then says and they all heard them speaking.

  140. Another time heard them speaking their languages.

  141. Every nation under heaven was gathered there to celebrate feasts.

  142. Every nation was there because it's a crossroads, and they all heard them speaking about the wonderful works of God in their own native language.

  143. What meaneth this?

  144. And Peter standing up.

  145. In other words, he was so drunk in the Holy Ghost he was on the ground.

  146. I've been under the pew a few times.

  147. We've had people roll up and down in the front of the church.

  148. I had one lady.

  149. I thought she was gonna roll up the platform and roll back down again.

  150. I wasn't sure.

  151. Oh, that's just excess.

  152. Well, that's people full of the Holy Ghost.

  153. They don't care what you think.

  154. In fact, they don't care what anybody thinks.

  155. They crave him, they just crave him.

  156. You get to that place, see, you just don't care what your reputation is like.

  157. God can give you such a sterling reputation.

  158. He just reigns on you and people like you, in spite of the fact that they don't know what in the world is going on.

  159. That's all those people.

  160. They didn't know what was going on.

  161. What meaneth this?

  162. Peter stood up and said this is that spoken by the prophet Joel.

  163. In fact, the Amplified says this is the beginning of that.

  164. What if the book of Acts was the beginning of that?

  165. We're living in the culmination of that rain.

  166. Come on, get your hand wet.

  167. Get your hand wet.

  168. It's raining in here today.

  169. Woo, it's raining in here today.

  170. The Holy Ghost is woo.

  171. The Holy Ghost is raining down, getting you wet.

  172. Woo, glory to God.

  173. You know you got a flower in a yard and it's gonna like this.

  174. You know you water it.

  175. It goes like this.

  176. There's more, I'll tell you.

  177. There's a lot of Christians that need some water.

  178. I'm telling you, right, they look pretty dried up.

  179. They just came from a bad day at Black Rock, all right.

  180. So he said this is that spoken by the prophet Joel, the beginning of that.

  181. And he talks about the rain and 3,000 Jewish people got saved, many of them the same people that said crucify him.

  182. Crucify him.

  183. Just a few days before 120 came out of that room.

  184. But the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14 that Jesus appeared to over 500 at one time after the resurrection and only 120 out of the 500 showed up.

  185. Can you imagine if Jesus appeared to you and said I want you to go to Jerusalem.

  186. I want you to go to the upper room and wait there until you be endued with power from on high, because John baptized with water, but you're gonna be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days from now.

  187. Just go and wait.

  188. Go and wait.

  189. And 120 of them did.

  190. And what was that?

  191. They obeyed?

  192. Did they understand what in the world?

  193. No, they didn't understand the thing.

  194. They cast lots to take one of them to take the place of the one that committed suicide, judas.

  195. But that wasn't why they were there.

  196. They weren't there to have a business meeting.

  197. They weren't there to vote somebody in or vote somebody out, or cast lots or do anything.

  198. They were there to obey and they waited.

  199. I like to think about these things.

  200. I like to think about how it went after the third day.

  201. You know they're there for three days and you know 120 people in an upper room, and it couldn't be that much space.

  202. How do you sleep?

  203. You sleep sitting down.

  204. What happens, you know, okay, day six, man, it's getting kinda high, you know, don't?

  205. You know some of them wanted to go home.

  206. Finally, 10 days, and when the day of Pentecost was fully cut, suddenly there came a sound as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the place where they were seated and cloven tongues, like a sapphire, came and sat upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, including the Blessed Virgin.

  207. All filled with the Holy Ghost and they began to speak in tongues as the Spirit gave them.

  208. Glory to God and the church of Jesus Christ was born.

  209. And what happened after that?

  210. Blessings, because 120.

  211. Now, lo, I want you to get something.

  212. Not all of them obeyed that knew to be there Only 24%.

  213. And yet, on the strength of that 24%, god has been able to do what he's done in this world through the church of Jesus Christ with less than 100% participation.

  214. I don't know what the percentages are, but they're kinda weak.

  215. I said they're kinda weak Compared to the number of people that have heard and the people that have obeyed.

  216. I don't know what that percentage is, but you know what?

  217. I believe that God's not done with us.

  218. I don't believe God is done with America.

  219. There's a I mean 80 million people voted right this last election.

  220. You can talk about anything you wanna talk about.

  221. Well, we know 80 million people voted and they voted correctly.

  222. They did not vote for socialism.

  223. They did not vote for abortion.

  224. They did not vote for all this ungodly left wing nut job stuff that we're seeing.

  225. I never agree with Megan McCain.

  226. I can't.

  227. You know what is that program they have on that?

  228. Oh, there's women every day.

  229. The View Well, I don't ever view the View because I don't like being nauseated.

  230. But she did make a statement this past week.

  231. She said listening to Kamala Harris talk about immigration, she's just a moron.

  232. I said well, look at there.

  233. I agree with Megan McCain for the first time in my entire life.

  234. Moron is a good word.

  235. That's a good word.

  236. I'm gonna use that word more often when you're describing Democrats left wing nut job Morons.

  237. It's moronic.

  238. What they say is moronic.

  239. It makes you think where have I been trans?

  240. Is this the Twilight Zone?

  241. Have I been translated into a completely di-altered place?

  242. The Bible says all this.

  243. It's deception.

  244. Q in last week, deception.

  245. But I wanted to see that God has gotten partial participation and partial obedience and he's still gonna bless us.

  246. I'm telling you, don't let the devil talk you into thinking that everything's over and we're just gonna have to, you know, have a lot of sad singing and slow digging and everything else it's all.

  247. No, it's not over.

  248. There's a whole lot of things to do and there's a whole lot of blessing earmark for the church that we need to call in and get ready to receive it.

  249. How can you receive it if you doubt it?

  250. How can you receive it if you're condemned?

  251. How can you receive it when you identify with all the nut job morons?

  252. I have nothing in common with morons.

  253. I guarantee Nothing.

  254. Praise God, all right.

  255. So we talked about Abraham last week.

  256. You know he didn't perfectly obey God, did he?

  257. I mean, god told him to leave his country.

  258. He did Leave his father's house.

  259. Well, he did, but he brought his father with him.

  260. Leave your kindred.

  261. But he brought his kindred with him and he fiddled with, faddled around and he didn't really obey God, but he obeyed enough for God to bless him.

  262. He was very rich in cattle, silver and gold.

  263. I mean, bottom line is that he's, you know, we're blessed with faithful Abraham.

  264. God calls him faithful Abraham.

  265. He's not looking for perfection, amen.

  266. He's looking for people to grow up.

  267. He's looking for us to obey amen.

  268. So all the ifs that exist in the Old Testament, they also exist in the New Testament.

  269. Now, obedience is not optional.

  270. You know Moses was warning the children there because their parents died in the wilderness and God didn't kill them.

  271. And you know the 12 spies went out to talk about, to find out about the land, and they all came back and you know the story that 10 out of the 12 had an evil report.

  272. The 10 said oh, it's just like you said.

  273. It's a land flows of milk and honey.

  274. This is the fruit of it.

  275. Look at the fruit.

  276. It's wonderful, but how.

  277. Nevertheless.

  278. There's giants in the land we be not able.

  279. There's walled cities are walled up to heaven.

  280. We be not able.

  281. We were grasshoppers in their sight and grasshoppers in our own sight, as if God ever told them it was gonna be them that did it.

  282. No, god told them all along it was gonna be him that did it.

  283. I'm gonna go before you.

  284. I'm gonna send the hornet before you.

  285. I'm gonna all these I mean send the hornets.

  286. I mean I've always kind of laughed at that.

  287. I wonder what kind of hornet that was that God sent.

  288. Didn't wanna mess with that hornet, but whatever it was, god did clear the way for the children of Israel and all they had to do was just act like it.

  289. Go behind God.

  290. Let God.

  291. Face the battle and let God win the battle.

  292. The battle is not yours, but it's the Lord's Amen.

  293. Well, they missed that concept.

  294. So those 10 leaders died immediately by the plague.

  295. Did God kill them?

  296. No, the devil did.

  297. See, disobedience doesn't make God mad at you enough to hurt you.

  298. He's not the one punishing where God's punishing.

  299. No, god is not the punisher, he's not the brute, he's not the one.

  300. But when you disobey God, you get out of his protection.

  301. You get out of his protection, and now you've opened the door to Satan to do things to you that he would normally not be able to do.

  302. And so we see that all through the Bible.

  303. And so the 10 died immediately.

  304. Who were the two that survived?

  305. Well, joshua and Caleb, because they had a good report.

  306. They tried to persuade the rest of the children of Israel, but no, they believed the 10 more than they did the two.

  307. Caleb said oh, they're bred for us, let's go up at once and possess the land.

  308. They didn't believe Caleb, they didn't believe Joshua.

  309. And so God said you're gonna die in the wilderness and you're so worried about your children, I'm gonna take your children in.

  310. So every male and female above the age of 20 at the time, died, so they died.

  311. Some of them were, let's just say, you're 30 and you spent 40 years in the wilderness, so you died at 70.

  312. And let's just say that you were 40 at that time, you spent 40 years and, well, you died at 80.

  313. And that's what Psalm 90 is talking about.

  314. If you buy 70 or 80, if, by reason of strength, four score, then we fly away and all that stuff and we get the idea that we can live to be 80.

  315. That's God's full amount of time.

  316. No, that's describing the children of Israel who were in disobedience in the wilderness and they lived to be 70 to 80 years old.

  317. I tell you, we can live as long as we're satisfied With long life.

  318. He's satisfied with me and shows me his salvation.

  319. We don't have to die at 80.

  320. We don't have to die at any particular.

  321. Well, you know my ticket's up.

  322. Well you know, I don't think there's any particular number on your ticket, it's just you.

  323. What's your faith?

  324. What do you believe in?

  325. What do you say?

  326. You have everything to do with it.

  327. God's not saying oh, time's up, expiration.

  328. Everybody say I don't believe in it.

  329. Everybody say I don't come with an expiration date.

  330. That's right.

  331. Amen, you can live to your satisfied.

  332. So anyway, and I want you to see, in Joshua 11, let's turn back there.

  333. Joshua made a.

  334. You know, he was the leader that took the children of Israel into the Promised Land.

  335. He did what Moses couldn't do, and God is Joshua 11.

  336. This is an astounding verse.

  337. Verse 18, joshua made war a long time with all those kings and there was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, except the Havites, the inhabitants of Gibeon and all of the others they took in battle.

  338. Now, listen to this, for it was of the Lord to harden their hearts that they should come against Israel and battle, that he might destroy them utterly and that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them as the Lord commanded.

  339. Moses, pastor, yeah, that sounds so mean.

  340. That's Old Testament.

  341. Well, it's Bible.

  342. There are going to be nations that are going to be destroyed.

  343. We're going to see some nations destroyed before we get out of here.

  344. These are nations that have not honored the God of creation.

  345. Well, they, they.

  346. They're nations almost every nation's been had the gospel preached to them.

  347. Think about turkey for a minute.

  348. Turkey.

  349. They've had the gospel preached to them.

  350. They've got ruins of all those churches.

  351. I mean, you can?

  352. They have no excuse.

  353. Turkey has no excuse.

  354. They're gonna be destroyed.

  355. Some of those Middle East nations are going to be destroyed.

  356. It may it may be when we're still here, or it may be right after we leave, but they're gonna.

  357. They're gonna be completely destroyed.

  358. Why?

  359. Because they have disobeyed.

  360. Well, but, pastor, they don't have a covenant?

  361. Yeah, but the Bible says that no one.

  362. You're without excuse.

  363. As a human being.

  364. You're without excuse not to know that there's a creator, because you can look at the creation and know it didn't just happen in an explosion Sun didn't shine on scum and start this all going on.

  365. Listen, this God created it and that's all there is to it.

  366. Anything else is a lie and you know it.

  367. Don't tell me that you can cut a stick off of a tree and whittle it and then bow down to it and worship it.

  368. You know it isn't God.

  369. You did all the work on it.

  370. Man-made idols, they have no excuse.

  371. But, pastor, you sound like you want it.

  372. I don't want it to happen.

  373. That's why we're in business.

  374. We preach the God good news, but I'm not responsible if they don't listen.

  375. And what God does is when we.

  376. You know you can get your heart hardened by disobeying.

  377. Disobedience has a high price.

  378. You begin to harden your heart, you begin to Get an attitude on the inside where you, where you hear from God, you're here, from God in your spirit, man, and If you disobey over and over, or if you procrastinate or you just act like God wasn't talking to you and he's you know he is you can get to a place where finally, god won't say that much to you anymore and you won't have an unction, you won't have a leading.

  379. Well, whose fault is it, his or yours?

  380. I Tell you, this obedience comes at a high price.

  381. That's why I'm preaching this message, because there's so many voices out there so willing to tell you that you just deserve everything God can give you.

  382. Well, you don't deserve squat.

  383. None of us do.

  384. I don't.

  385. Jesus deserves everything and since I'm in him, all right, praise God.

  386. You know, anise, as far as in the New Testament they lied about an offering, acts chapter 5, they lied about an offering you know everybody was.

    Acts 5 chapter mention

  387. It was a, it was a holy ghost service and People come run into the front and they gave.

  388. They they had sold their property.

  389. Now, the apostles didn't tell them to do it.

  390. They just did it out of their own heart.

  391. They sold lands and properties and brought the entire thing and laid it at the apostles feet for distribution to be made, because there were some of them and at that number who had been disowned by their families.

  392. You know, in Jewish and Jewish families, if you become a believer in Christ I mean buddy you're disowned, you're disinherited, your name is mud, you're a shunned.

  393. I knew of a young man that had gotten young Jewish boy, got saved.

  394. He's about 19 and he started serving God and all of a sudden they disappeared.

  395. He wouldn't church anymore and the pastor was telling me that they found out that his parents had hired Deep programmers to kidnap him and put him in a, in a place where he was tortured and beaten and till he would deny Christ.

  396. Well, he finally denied Christ, but he didn't deny him in his heart.

  397. He just did it to get, get free, and as soon as they let him go he went back to serving God.

  398. So it didn't work.

  399. But that's how.

  400. That's how religion, religion is crazy, religion is mean.

  401. Even Jewish people can be that way, muslim people can do that way, all of them can be that way, hindu people and so but in Acts, chapter 5, and I so far, they had a holy ghost service.

    Acts 5 chapter mention

  402. Everybody was down down there just running to give their offerings and they did the same thing.

  403. Only they decided look, sapphira, I don't have peace about giving the whole thing.

  404. Let's hold back part of it and Not telling anybody.

  405. Let's act like we did everything that everybody else did.

  406. Let's get the credit for it, but let's not tell anybody.

  407. And and so that's what they did.

  408. And and so Peter knew it.

  409. Peter asked the guys is hey, did you sell your land for so much?

  410. Now he could have said no, I lied, I'm so embarrassed, I'm so sorry, peter, please forgive me.

  411. And Peter would have forgiven him.

  412. God would have forgiven them.

  413. They didn't have any obligation to sell Something, and at all.

  414. Or if they sold it, they didn't have to give all of it.

  415. We don't have obligations.

  416. Tithing is the way God does business.

  417. We're talking about tithing later.

  418. But I mean that nobody was holding anything over their head.

  419. But but he didn't, he didn't, he lied against.

  420. Yeah, I sure did.

  421. I sold it for that much.

  422. He said why did you lie?

  423. You not lie to me, you lie to the Holy Ghost.

  424. And he dropped dead in Peter's presence a Little while later.

  425. Here comes Sapphira.

  426. Did you sell the property for so much?

  427. Yeah, the guys that hauled your husband out, or at the door and she dropped it.

  428. Did God kill him?

  429. No, the devil killed him.

  430. Why?

  431. Because they lie.

  432. The presence of God was in such manifestation in the early church.

  433. I believe it's gonna happen again in the end days, because that was the beginning of that spoken by the Prophet Joel.

  434. This is a culmination of it.

  435. We're gonna have services where the Spirit of God is gonna be so much in demonstration.

  436. We have to be scrupulously Careful about our behaviors at all times.

  437. We need to live holy lives.

  438. We need to live like God is watching everything we're doing.

  439. We just need to clean up the situation a little bit.

  440. Let's become fully obedient.

  441. And Because they lied in the presence of God and didn't have any idea that God heard them, I Mean that was the sin, that they would presume that God would just wink.

  442. May tell you, god's not winking when his presence comes.

  443. Well, I'm you're making me afraid.

  444. Well, I'm trying not trying to make you afraid, I'm trying to bring you a balance to the Junk we're hearing all the time.

  445. There's two.

  446. There's two ditches, one on each side of the road, and you can get in the holiness camp so much Be worried about what kind of dress you wear and what kind of hair do you have, and all that baloney.

  447. And Then you can get on the other side and just act like a hippie dope thing and just smoke and dip and Do drugs and do everything else the world is doing and it's all right.

  448. God, god's already.

  449. Jesus took my sin.

  450. Well, no, that's not how it works.

  451. That's not how it works.

  452. And I'm telling you there's coming a move of God that demands Our lives to line up an obedience.

  453. Hey, ben, are y'all with me now?

  454. And so no, the devil killed an antiphobe fire.

  455. I'm not saying they went to hell, I'm not saying that at all.

  456. I'm saying, man, you know, peter has got such a an anointing on him that he walks down the street and they would line the sick up in the in the street and his shadow would fall on someone and they would be healed.

  457. That the shadow heal anybody.

  458. No, it was the presence of God.

  459. The anointing just had a, had a half-life, if you will.

  460. I mean, and that is like radiation.

  461. You're gonna lie to God in the presence of a man of God like that, when he gave you a chance to tell the truth.

  462. See that was, that was a thing.

  463. Praise God.

  464. So let's keep the blessings flowing.

  465. You know room, hebrews 11 6 diligent, let's believe he that come at the God must believe number one, that he is number two, that he is a rewarders.

  466. He got the rewarder.

  467. He's got blessings earmarked for you.

  468. He's got blessings earmarked for you, but they're what?

  469. All conditional?

  470. They're conditional on your obedience.

  471. Who diligently see, crave, worship, inquire, investigate.

  472. So three things they'll requit.

  473. Number one put God first.

  474. I say that all the time, but do putting first.

  475. I Like Matthew 633.

  476. It says seek he, jesus said this, seek.

  477. There's that word again Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.

  478. In other words, he said don't be taking anxious thought.

  479. What are we gonna wear?

  480. What are we gonna put on?

  481. You know what are we gonna eat?

  482. No, we got it.

  483. Don't take anxious thought.

  484. Doesn't say don't take thought yeah, you have to have plans.

  485. You have to have a Plan, but not an anxious thought.

  486. I've had people say I don't need any insurance.

  487. Bible said don't take thought.

  488. No, you have insurance.

  489. You don't know what's gonna happen to you.

  490. Could Hit a Mack truck.

  491. You leave your family destitute, can't even pay for the funeral.

  492. That's not right, especially right now.

  493. Life insurance term life is cheap, cheaper than it's ever been in my life.

  494. I mean you're 30, 40 years old.

  495. You can get life insurance, take care of your family if you should die.

  496. Well, I'm not gonna die, well, you know.

  497. It's just, it's an insurance policy.

  498. There's nothing wrong with it.

  499. It's not a lack of faith on your part, it's been wise.

  500. He's not talking about life insurance in this verse.

  501. He's talking about people that worry.

  502. You know who people worry more than anybody rich people.

  503. They worry about their money, they worry about, they, worry about the stock market.

  504. They.

  505. I had a.

  506. You know the guy that gave us this property.

  507. I'd go to see him and he made money trading stocks and when I went into his office he was always looking at the, at the, at the TV, at the, at the stock market.

  508. He's always looking at me.

  509. I'm he just studying, studying, studying, looking, looking, looking All day long, every day.

  510. You know that was his whole living.

  511. I'm sure he went to bed thinking what is it?

  512. What's it doing?

  513. What's it doing in Tokyo?

  514. What's it doing?

  515. What's it doing someplace else?

  516. Are y'all with me now?

  517. No, seek ye first, crave ye first, worship ye first.

  518. Investigate you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

  519. Or I like to say it this way, and I don't believe I'm doing Despite to the word Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his way of doing business.

  520. God has a way of doing business.

  521. He has a way.

  522. His kingdom operates according to certain laws, you know, like law of gravity.

  523. I've had people you know argue about tithing, that tithing's Old Testament, what tithing's Bible.

  524. Tithing preceded the Old Testament.

  525. You know, as far as the law, it preceded the law and and it's it's Bible, it's just like gravity, it's a law.

  526. Has gravity been done away with?

  527. I mean, just take 36 floors up to the San Jacinto Monument and bail out and see if gravity still works or not.

  528. You'll find out.

  529. It works.

  530. You won't fly, I guarantee it.

  531. But there are laws that are in place and the law of tithing, giving and receiving, seething and reaping, all of those are laws.

  532. They will not depart as long as the earth liveth.

  533. It will not end.

  534. Are you with me now?

  535. Oh yeah, put Him first in His ways of doing things, and all these things will be added unto you.

  536. Put God first, put His kingdom first.

  537. Always, when you're making a decision, think about it concerning the kingdom of God.

  538. What is this going to do about the kingdom?

  539. How is this going to impact the kingdom?

  540. See yourself as a kingdom business person.

  541. You've been invited into the inner circle sitting at the table of God and Son's unlimited.

  542. You are there.

  543. You're a decision maker.

  544. What you say, what you do, the decisions you make, impact the kingdom.

  545. Why don't you investigate a little bit longer before you make the move you're about to make?

  546. Put God first, all right.

  547. Number two obey His word.

  548. Obey His word.

  549. Well, that seems like put God first would be the same.

  550. Well, it is, in a way.

  551. But put God first and then obey His word.

  552. I mean, his word is here.

  553. So James 1.22, it says be not hearer of the word, but doers.

  554. Also, if you hear and don't do, you deceive yourself.

  555. There you go defeating deception.

  556. A lot of deception in the church is because people hear the word and don't do it.

  557. They hear the word and they just don't do it.

  558. They exempt themselves.

  559. They build a case to say that there is an exception in their life.

  560. Well, I know it says that, but God knows my heart, bless your little heart.

  561. He knows your heart, he knows you're disobedience and He'd like to bless you.

  562. He's got some blessings there.

  563. They're all stacked up and then you're giving yourself an exemption.

  564. You did that.

  565. You decided not to do this word, you decided not to obey it, and so then you just decided well, I just can't help myself.

  566. I just love this person.

  567. I know he's the same sex as I am, but I'm just going to go ahead.

  568. We have gay marriage.

  569. 70% of America believes that a gay marriage is OK.

  570. Do you know that?

  571. 70%?

  572. I don't know if the poll is correct, but if it's more than 10%, it's an abomination.

  573. But Jesus said in the last days, as it was in the days of Lot, so it will be in the days of the coming of the Son of man.

  574. So you've got people that go to church.

  575. You've got people that believe that they worship every Sunday.

  576. They're living in LGBTQ plus plus P binary quadrary, all kind of gender winter.

  577. I just don't even tap into that whole.

  578. How many?

  579. 26 of them, 26 different.

  580. They actually think they're saved.

  581. They actually have given themselves an exemption from God's word.

  582. Well, God knows my heart.

  583. I love God.

  584. You may love Him, but you're not obeying Him and this lifestyle is going to cost you.

  585. It's going to cost you.

  586. It's going to cost you heartache, it's going to cost you money.

  587. It's going to cost you eternity if you don't repent and stop it.

  588. But the train has left the station and people are going more and I see the church just caving, caving, caving, caving and the Republican Party, who has the most outstanding Bible-based platform you ever saw in decades, probably ever, probably ever.

  589. We have a platform that is bulletproof.

  590. And then the head of our you know, ronna McDaniel.

  591. What she's face is, niece, which I've liked.

  592. She's done a pretty good job.

  593. Until just last week, she congratulated all the gay people.

  594. We're with you on the Pride Month oh, we're celebrating.

  595. And the big 10 of the Republican Party.

  596. We've got you and we're including you.

  597. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  598. We're not including you.

  599. We're not including that garbage.

  600. We're not including that.

  601. We're not including it.

  602. Ronna, baby Moron, my new word.

  603. All right, so you're a hater.

  604. See, that's what they say.

  605. I'm a hater.

  606. No, I love God.

  607. I'm a craved God.

  608. I craved to please Him and I'm not going to let something like that come in here and I'm going to try to talk myself and exempt people from what the word says.

  609. What's next on the list?

  610. What can the devil take away?

  611. Next, our children.

  612. He's got every one of our little babies and our children.

  613. They've got targets on their back.

  614. Nickelodeon is trying to groom your children.

  615. They've converted over and they got all these wacko characters on Nickelodeon.

  616. Don't let your children watch Nickelodeon.

  617. Look at what you're watching.

  618. Don't let them watch this garbage.

  619. They're being indoctrinated.

  620. Are you with me?

  621. Let's obey His word.

  622. I like Philippians 4, 6.

  623. Don't worry about anything.

  624. Pray about everything with Thanksgiving.

  625. That's the message.

  626. Don't worry about it, pray about it with Thanksgiving.

  627. Love walk.

  628. You know if I'm seeing an interruption in my life, have I got something wrong with me physically?

  629. Or if I've got something wrong with my finances?

  630. The first thing I'd look is my love walk.

  631. Am I walking in love or am I hard to get along with argumentative mean surly?

  632. That's easy to happen in a home.

  633. You know you got kids, you got pressures and for long you just kind of get, you know, back and forth, back and forth.

  634. You know you better watch your loved ones men.

  635. Your prayers are being hindered if you don't treat your wife right.

  636. That's what the Bible says Husbands love your wives.

  637. His Christ loved the church.

  638. Wives obey Fall out of favor.

  639. It doesn't mean just do everything he says.

  640. It means cooperate with him.

  641. Quit trying to have your way all the time.

  642. But on the flip side, men, let your wife rule the house, let her, let her have her way.

  643. You know, I don't know, I guess I learned just.

  644. Gladys was so strong, you know, I couldn't, I couldn't ever.

  645. I think if she had allowed me to, I would have just beaten her, not physically, but I would have just overwhelmed her into submission.

  646. I'm a class type A personality.

  647. I would have just bossed her into a little submissive mouse.

  648. But she I mean, buddy, you don't tell her.

  649. And I learned that real early.

  650. And so we're the home builders.

  651. So we'd build homes and use them as as model homes.

  652. Our first home was a model home, and so everything had a budget.

  653. We built the house, but we had to have a budget, and of course she wanted to pick out more expensive carpet, and so by the time it was over with, we had several thousand dollars of overages.

  654. That were not what I would normally do on a spec, you know.

  655. But she wanted that and so I said yes, and so it didn't come with any landscaping, it didn't come with any.

  656. You know, the grass was just plugs.

  657. How many of you remember plugs?

  658. And so my, my grass man, we called him the barefoot contestant.

  659. He would get out there and he would water the grass until water the yard, until it was mud.

  660. Then he'd take his shoes off and he had this sack full of little sprigs of grass and he'd go through there and he'd kick it with his heel, throw the sprig down and spread it over with his foot and he'd just do that every 16 inches.

  661. So that's all we, that's all the house came with was sprigs, and people would get so mad.

  662. You mean to tell me this is.

  663. I said just give it time, water it Now.

  664. You're in that at first.

  665. You're going to have to water that every day, don't let it get baked out in the sun.

  666. I mean, it's summertime, those grass, it'll all die if you don't water it every day.

  667. You've got to water it every day until it takes.

  668. But it did work.

  669. It would.

  670. By the end of the summer those yards would be covered.

  671. We didn't sod the grass.

  672. Anyway, I would leave and go on a hunting trip and I'd come back and there'd be plants everywhere.

  673. She'd go to Cornelius.

  674. She bought Azaleas, she bought loquat trees.

  675. She bought, she bought and she had already planted all of her shrubs.

  676. Forget about your budget, buddy.

  677. This is my yard.

  678. I'm mowing the front yard Now.

  679. That edger will not.

  680. I do not want a grass string trimmer for my edger.

  681. That doesn't well, it's ugly looking.

  682. I don't want.

  683. I want our edger, a gasoline powered edger with a metal.

  684. Nobody uses those.

  685. Have you noticed?

  686. Nobody uses those.

  687. They have a metal blade, a vertical blade, and then you have to have an attachment of wheel on the front, where the curb is.

  688. It gets down in the gutter and the other wheel sits on top of the curb so you can cut a perfect cut and she would be out there edging that front and she would edge the sidewalk.

  689. She would mow the front yard and the back yard was my job.

  690. Husbands love your wine and I wasn't even a believer.

  691. God bless me.

  692. I mean the word works.

  693. I said the word works.

  694. Just let the woman have her way at the house and then that way, when you do need to make a decision, you know well, then you can you know, you usually have a wife that will cooperate with you.

  695. Alright.

  696. So put God first.

  697. Obey His word, just the everyday word.

  698. This is it right here.

  699. Obey it.

  700. Put God first.

  701. And then, number three, obey His spirit.

  702. Be willing.

  703. Be a willing spirit.

  704. We're spirits that we live in a body.

  705. We contact God through our spirit.

  706. Have a willing spirit, be willing.

  707. When God puts something in your heart to do, be willing to do it.

  708. Don't be unwilling, don't be resistant to the spirit that's on the inside of you, because the spirit is there to give you what's not necessarily written in the pages of the book.

  709. You know, I like to say this it was nowhere in this Bible where it said your first building at Glorious Way Church was going to be at 68, 27, fm 1960 West in Houston, texas.

  710. It never was in here.

  711. How did I find that building?

  712. A witness, a witness of the spirit, the witness of the spirit puts you in this building Right here, created this building.

  713. It's not written in the Bible.

  714. So you need to to those promptings, those urges, those unctions that God has for you.

  715. Learn how to obey those.

  716. I do a whole series on being led of the spirit.

  717. It's out there in the media center.

  718. It's even on the website.

  719. You can check on the website and look at podcasts and it's got a history of podcasts.

  720. It's got them all back to back to, I think, 2012.

  721. Just almost every message been preaching this church is on the podcast on there.

  722. It's searchable.

  723. You can search in there.

  724. You can put it up in the search thing how to be led by the spirit and it'll show you right where it is and you can listen to it.

  725. We teach on that on a regular basis right here because it's so vital.

  726. Brother Hagin talks about the woman, an older lady.

  727. She was about 80, in her 80s and he had been dealing with her a number of years.

  728. She'd been sick in bed it was just you know, and he'd he'd stand over her bed and minister to her and they'd talk about the things of God.

  729. Precious woman filled with the Holy Ghost, you know, lovely lady, but just sickly and suffered for years and he said you know I'd get her doing pretty good, you know she'd get a breakthrough and she'd be okay for a while and then she'd go back and it was just like that, up and down, up and down and finally she had gotten down to where she was just about ready to go to heaven.

  730. And he, he, and finally, one day, while he was dealing with her, pouring into her the word of God.

  731. Because Brother Hagin was always, you know, he.

  732. He had to discover for himself how to beat death when he was 15 years old, laying on the bed of sickness, paralyzed, and all the doctors said he had to die.

  733. So he had, he had to get it inside of him and teach all that.

  734. When he was pastoring, he would always put it into the people that you don't have to die at a certain age.

  735. You can.

  736. You can live your whole life out until you're satisfied.

  737. You know, 70 and 80, that means nothing.

  738. You just, and you don't have to die of sickness.

  739. You know, you can be like the patriarchs who would just, whenever they were ready to go off and be with the Lord, they just gathered the feet and blessed, the, blessed their offspring, and then they'd get out, and and so he would teach that.

  740. So anytime he saw somebody about to die of cancer or die of some other disease, he would try everything he could to get them healed.

  741. And so finally, one day she said, you know, she said I just I've been disobedient.

  742. She said when I was 12, the Lord wanted me to be a missionary, but I just wasn't willing.

  743. And here she is, 80.

  744. And she's still thinking about how, when she was 12, god had wanted her to be a missionary but she wasn't willing.

  745. She wasn't willing and and so will you mean God killed?

  746. No, I'm not saying God did that at all.

  747. I'm just saying a choice she made, even when she was young.

  748. I tell you choices you make when you're 12, choices you make when you're 15.

  749. You might make a bad choice, you might say no to that.

  750. In my instance, I was called when I was four, four, did I remember that?

  751. No, it was buried, and I mean it was after.

  752. I was saved for quite a while.

  753. When, when God brought that back around and and let me remember and feel the feeling I had and remember that image of that day and our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Galena Park, texas, that's right Be shock of all shocks that God would call a Catholic boy supernaturally.

  754. But he did.

  755. But I resisted that call and resisted that call and buried it and buried it and resisted it and the nuns tried to bring it back up and I just pushed it down until finally, at 33 when I got saved.

  756. And here we are, ultimately, I'll obey.

  757. So this lady.

  758. If she'd have just said, oh God, I'm so sorry I missed you At some point, she could have repented.

  759. She could have just said I was wrong to do that.

  760. Now I can't.

  761. Unscrambles legs.

  762. What can I do?

  763. Now?

  764. You know God would have God's merciful.

  765. I said God's merciful, it's the devil that's unmerciful.

  766. It's the devil that steals.

  767. It's the devil that gives you misery.

  768. It's the devil that gives you depression.

  769. It's the devil that gives you cancer.

  770. It's the devil that's unmerciful.

  771. So God wouldn't have to, not God.

  772. Obey his spirit, be a willing spirit.

  773. Another story brother Hagan tells us about his mother-in-law, orita's mother.

  774. She's a good Methodist woman and she was battling a gore.

  775. One day in prayer, brother Hagin heard from the Holy Ghost says tell your mother-in-law to be at your church tonight, on Wednesday night, and come down to the altar and I will fill her with the Holy Ghost and complete her healing.

  776. And that was exactly the word that brother Hagin got from the Holy Ghost.

  777. So he told her and he said you know, sometimes you get a word like that.

  778. You start trying to reason that out.

  779. Why in the world would she have to come to my church?

  780. She's not a member of my church, she's a member of the Methodist Church.

  781. Why does she have to come and be at the altar of my church?

  782. What in the world does that have to do?

  783. Why can't she just receive where she is?

  784. Why can't?

  785. Why, you know why, does she have to come there?

  786. But he didn't ask all those questions.

  787. He just told her he was what Obedient and she could have gotten fussy or she could have gotten whatever.

  788. But she showed up and it was a Wednesday night, so he preached and you know, and by the time the service was over, he just about ready to close the service.

  789. She stood up, says I can't wait any longer.

  790. And she come running down the aisle and before she hit the altar she hit the altar on her face.

  791. And before she hit the altar she was beakin' in tongues and that gore would popped off of her neck.

  792. She was instantly healed and instantly filled with the Holy Ghost.

  793. And so the story came out later and she said you know, I've always known that the Holy Ghost was real and I would like to have the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

  794. But one thing I will never do I, you will never find me at the altar of that full gospel church.

  795. And so hello, yes, yes.

  796. If you want what I got for you, you're gonna show up there.

  797. Little bit of pride, little Methodist pride, amen.

  798. Little Catholic Methodist Baptist, the costal pride will keep you out of the blessing.

  799. God wants to bless you.

  800. He's got blessings earmarked for you.

  801. He's got blessings earmarked for you and as you do, as you put God first, obey His word, obey His spirit.

  802. Obedience brings blessings.

  803. Come on, lift your hands and receive.

  804. Come on, receive the word of God.

  805. Hallelujah, praise God.

  806. Now I say that I didn't pray.

  807. I didn't give you anything new.

  808. You knew with that already before you came.

  809. Why did you pray?

  810. To stir you up.

  811. I wanna stir you up, keep you in remembrance of these things.

  812. We need what God has for us in these last days.

  813. I tell you he's wanting to get blessings to you.

  814. Amen.

  815. Did you get anything out of this today?
