  1. Let's wave our bibles around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

  2. Let's get into the Word this morning, let's say this together say heavenly Father, worthy is your name, the name of Jesus Thank you for giving us that name the exclusive right of every believer to rule and reign in this life.

  3. We remind ourselves, we stir ourselves up to take our rightful place in Christ at your right hand and rule, starting now, no, not after we get to heaven, right now.

  4. In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

  5. Let's turn our bibles, please, to Acts, chapter eight, and also, while you're turning, get Isaiah eight, acts eight and Isaiah eight.

  6. We'll start reading with verse one in Acts and Saul was consenting, that's Paul.

  7. Saul of Tarsus was consenting to his death.

  8. Talking about Stephen, you know the story Stephen was stoned and at that time there was a great, a mega persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem, and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles, and devout men carried Stephen to his burial and made great lamentation for him and as for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house and hailing men and women, committed them to prison.

  9. Therefore, they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word.

  10. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ under them, and the people, with one accord, gave heed under those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did For, or because how did they?

  11. What miracles were there?

  12. Unclean spirits crying with loud voice came out of many that were possessed with them, and many, taken with palsies and that were lame, were healed, and there was great joy in that city.

  13. Glory to God.

  14. And let's turn over to Isaiah.

  15. Now the prophet is foretelling and speaking ahead.

  16. He's talking about Israel, but he really means the church too.

  17. Isaiah eight, verse eight, verse eight.

  18. Notice, everything's eight.

  19. Well, I got the wrong verse, but anyway.

  20. Well, I quote it.

  21. I and the Lord which I have made are for signs and wonders in Israel, amen.

  22. I'm sorry, I got the wrong.

  23. I wrote down the wrong scripture, but it's in Isaiah.

  24. You can look it up for yourself.

  25. Eight 18,.

  26. There you go.

  27. I knew I had eight on it.

  28. Let me read it correctly.

  29. And it came in.

  30. And there we go.

  31. Behold, I and the children whom the Lord have given me are for signs and wonders in Israel, from the Lord of hosts which dwelleth in Mount Zion.

  32. And so I wanted to talk today about the importance of signs and wonders.

  33. You know we talked about heeding the end time signs a couple of weeks ago.

  34. God is a sign giving God.

  35. He wants us to know.

  36. He doesn't want us to grope in the darkness, he wants us to know that he's coming.

  37. But then there's another sign.

  38. You know we're made in the image and likeness of God.

  39. If God is a sign giving God, then his people should be sign working people.

  40. We're created to be signs and wonder motivated and we ought to bring with us that demonstration.

  41. So here in Acts we see the gospel begins to spread.

  42. They had spent three years in Jerusalem and that not moved out.

  43. Jesus told him.

  44. He said going to all the world, preach the gospel to every creature.

  45. He said, you know, first in Judea, then in Samaria.

  46. No, he said both.

  47. He didn't say first.

  48. A lot of people quote that verse wrong.

  49. They say first.

  50. No, there's no first.

  51. God wanted all of it done.

  52. He's you know, both in Jerusalem and in Judea, samaria and the uttermost parts, they didn't move out.

  53. I think you could make a case where God's hand came off of the church.

  54. He didn't send the trouble.

  55. But you know when we disobey and we don't do exactly what God said to do when Jesus commanded, then we open the door to Satan.

  56. Now he doesn't need much excuse to persecute us, does he?

  57. But you know?

  58. Guess what happened?

  59. They were scattered abroad.

  60. The word scattered mean diaspora.

  61. It's the same thing that happened to the Jews after the destruction of the temple they were scattered abroad, all over the world, and sown as a seed.

  62. That's what it means.

  63. It means the believers were sown as a seed, except the apostles.

  64. So who was it that went out?

  65. Well, it was believers, not preachers.

  66. Oh, pastor Philip was an evangelist, not at this point, not at this point.

  67. He was not yet an evangelist.

  68. There were apostles, that was all they had.

  69. The other gifts came later Apostles.

  70. You know, 1 Corinthians 12 tells us the different offices in the church and they came in order of chronological order, and of course the apostles were first, and then after that prophets and secondarily teachers, because the church needed teaching.

  71. And then it goes on to tell you the ministry of help.

  72. So, if you really wanna know about it, if you look at Acts, chapter six, stephen who was sown was one of the seven deacons of the church in Jerusalem.

  73. Deacon just means ministry of helps.

  74. Ministry of helps.

  75. I mean you know one thing you could pray the Lord, send us more ministry of helps.

  76. We need a little help around here.

  77. It takes a lot of people to get a church going and keep the services going and answer the requirements of people that you know they need help, they need prayer, they need practical things.

  78. They need to be served.

  79. When we have a get together Maybe there's all kinds of opportunities, but anyway that's what he was.

  80. He waited on tables and of course we know what happened to Stephen.

  81. He couldn't stand it.

  82. He went out and preached to the Jews the same people that crucified the Lord, and they stoned him to death.

  83. And Saul of Torses was there holding their clothes and he consented.

  84. Then he opened the door to persecute and go into everybody's houses and take their guns and everything else, and he consented.

  85. Then he opened the door to persecute and go into everybody's houses and take their guns and everything else, and he had a vaccination Papers.

  86. Please, is that where we're headed?

  87. Nazi Germany?

  88. We got to show our papers.

  89. Better, wake up, anyway.

  90. So they were all scattered, brought as seed everywhere.

  91. Believers preaching the Word.

  92. You know, many times in the modern I got ahold of this 40 years ago.

  93. So I just believed what it said.

  94. I was just dumb enough to just go along with it.

  95. I mean, I took it to heart.

  96. I became one that had a message.

  97. I became a pastor because you had a call.

  98. Listen, that's way before any anointing, the pastor came on me.

  99. It took me a while to even recognize and remember that I had a call buried in my subconscious, that at four years old In fact it was probably five or six years after I got saved when I actually remembered that event.

  100. That happened when I was four God burned in my heart and I realized I had a call of God in my life.

  101. But anyway, phillip, here is one of the seven deacons Ministry of Health and he went to Samaria.

  102. Our sick car, the woman at the well I might have remembered the woman at the well.

  103. Jesus was talking to her and they were all upset because he was talking to a sinner woman.

  104. And she went into town and says come see a man who told me all things ever I did.

  105. She was the first real preacher.

  106. She went and preached, she brought a whole group of people out there to see Jesus and he ministered her, talked to her about living water there in the book of John.

  107. But Samaria, I don't know.

  108. There was no miracles under Jesus in Samaria.

  109. If you really want to know the truth, the Jews looked down on Samaritans because the Samaria was in the Northern Kingdom and they all intermarried with the heathen, and so they had Jewish roots, but then they were diluted in how they married and they adopted a lot of the false gods and all of that kind of thing.

  110. And so, you know, the Pharisees would always look down their nose at Samaritans, but not Philip, I mean, he went to the open door.

  111. You see, he recognized that Jesus put an end to all of that mess.

  112. He put an end to the pecking order.

  113. Everybody on planet Earth is eligible to get saved.

  114. Everybody's eligible to believe the gospel.

  115. Glory to God.

  116. And so he goes to Samaria.

  117. And what did he do?

  118. He preached Christ, the anointed, one in all of his anointing.

  119. And what was his anointing?

  120. Well, jesus said in Luke 4, 18, the spirit of the Lord is a poem, because he's anointed me to preach the gospel to five kinds of folks Amen the broke, the blind, the brokenhearted, you know, the bound, the blind and the bruised.

  121. And so that's what he preached.

  122. He preached that Jesus was the same yesterday, today and forever.

  123. He preached that Jesus healed back then, but he's healing today.

  124. He preached.

  125. He preached the good news.

  126. Don't you have any good news?

  127. We just sang that song about testifying.

  128. I've got my testimony that God blotted out all my past.

  129. He rewrote my history.

  130. I love that song.

  131. He rewrote my history.

  132. You don't have a history in heaven except since you got saved.

  133. All that's been blotted out.

  134. Glory to God.

  135. So why was he so well-received?

  136. They gave heed to the words that he spoke.

  137. Now here's a young whipper snapper.

  138. He's not, he doesn't have any age on him, he's not practiced at public speaking, he's a deacon.

  139. He's waited on tables, but what he did do was he sat under Peter, he sat under James, he sat under John, he sat under the apostles of the Lamb in the church in Jerusalem.

  140. And I'm telling you, he shared what he heard.

  141. He followed the example that was set for him, and so he went there and preached Christ unto them, and they all gave heed to him.

  142. Why did they give heed?

  143. Hearing and seeing the miracles which he did, we get so religious.

  144. Oh, what was it me?

  145. It wasn't me, it was Jesus.

  146. Well, I know that Every dummy knows that.

  147. But you're the person, you're the point of contact, you heal, you deliver, you set people free.

  148. No, you don't take all the credit for it, you do it.

  149. What In his name?

  150. Okay, I'm one of these ancient warriors.

  151. I've got this battle axe in one hand, you know.

  152. And so I throw the battle axe and kill somebody, and what do I say?

  153. Well, I kill this guy.

  154. Isn't that what you say?

  155. No, you say oh no, it wasn't me, it was my battle axe.

  156. I didn't do anything, it was just, it was all my acts.

  157. Oh, it's kind of silly how we are so religious and embarrassed about the anointing.

  158. Listen, every believer has a ministry, every believer, and it includes signs and wonders.

  159. It's time for the church to get out of this.

  160. You know word only and get into the Holy ghost and begin to manifest the spirit of God.

  161. I want you to stir yourself up.

  162. There's nobody here that's under the sound of my voice, nobody watching under the sound of my.

  163. If you're saved, you're eligible to bring signs and wonders on the scene.

  164. I got ahold of this years ago and I took it seriously.

  165. What did they hear?

  166. They heard the cry of demons being cast out.

  167. Let's look at Mark 16.

  168. I mean, you know, I don't, I can't prove that Stephen and Philip were actually there when Jesus.

  169. In fact I know they weren't, but I know they heard about it.

  170. Mark, chapter 16, you know, the apostles of the lamb were talking about this.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  171. Jesus told them.

  172. He said going to all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

  173. He didn't say every Jewish creature, but that's what they had done for three years.

  174. They just limited themselves to Jews.

  175. You can see how they left the door open for persecution.

  176. He that believeth in his baptized shall be saved.

  177. See, baptism doesn't save you.

  178. It's proof that you are saved.

  179. You know you can get baptized and not and you never really believed.

  180. I know people that just.

  181. They think they just baptism.

  182. No, it's not.

  183. Baptism is the immersion and water of a born again believer.

  184. But if you refuse to be baptized, if you refuse, well then you're not saved, because baptism is the proof you're saved and you're going to do the very first thing that Jesus commanded, aren't you?

  185. Otherwise he's not Lord.

  186. In the Middle East, that's where the rubber beats the road.

  187. When you get baptized in the Middle East, that's when the family disowns you from your inheritance.

  188. That's when you get a target on your back, especially right now.

  189. In case you didn't know, christians are mightily persecuted all over the globe and I think the Christian church in America is asleep at the wheel.

  190. Yeah, I've said this several times, but you know you can't tell the difference between the dead church and the church that's asleep.

  191. So then we have to just keep on going and moving and waking people up.

  192. When we finally wake them up and find out they're dead, well then we'll move on.

  193. But some of them are dead.

  194. There's no waking them up, but there's a lot of people in church that just need to be awakened.

  195. And so he said and these signs shall follow or accompany them that believe Didn't say the apostles in the first century AD.

  196. And then it's going to pass away them that believe.

  197. Everybody say I'm them that believe, I'm one of them that believe.

  198. So signs accompany me.

  199. Say that out loud.

  200. Signs accompany me In my name.

  201. See, there's that name Worthy.

  202. Is his name Valuable, incomparable?

  203. There's no name like the name of Jesus.

  204. Guess what?

  205. He gave it to the church for its exclusive use.

  206. No one can use the name of Jesus without being born again.

  207. Just ask the seven sons of Schema.

  208. They tried using the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus that Paul preaches, come out and the young man in whom the demon was Acts, chapter 12, jumped on them, beat them, stripped them neck it, sent on their way.

    Acts 12 chapter mention

  209. He said Jesus, I know, paul, I know, but who are you?

  210. Listen?

  211. They know.

  212. Demons know us.

  213. They know because we're born again and we have the name of Jesus In my name.

  214. Shall they, number one on the list, cast out devils?

  215. Can you see the pattern of what Philip did there in Samaria?

  216. I mean, that's the first order of business.

  217. He had people that were demonized in the crowd.

  218. He cast the demons out.

  219. There we're going, ehh.

  220. And everybody there knew what it meant to be demonized, everybody.

  221. And they said you know, maybe this kid, maybe we ought to listen to what he's saying here.

  222. Ain't nobody else come into Samaria and done this kind of thing?

  223. And then there were people with palsy, which was a disease that would eventually paralyze you and eventually kill you and lame.

  224. They were he.

  225. So, in other words, they got up and walked.

  226. Now it doesn't talk about any other miracles.

  227. It doesn't say anything about other miracles because obviously he's not a fully anointed fivefold ministry.

  228. When you're in the fivefold ministry you usually have a distribution of extra gifts of the spirit, where you will have a more full demonstration.

  229. But he said here in the last one they shall lay hands on the sick in my name.

  230. See, in Jesus' name, they lay hands on the sick and the sick shall recover.

  231. So he laid hands on these people and they got healed right there.

  232. And so then the signs and wonders produced great joy.

  233. There was great joy in that city.

  234. Do we need great joy in America?

  235. Aren't we tired of this?

  236. Well, we're the ones with the message, we're the ones with the goods, we're the ones with the signs and wonders that accompany us.

  237. I mean, we can complain or we can get busy, so the devil is never gonna let something alone.

  238. He's gonna always try to mess up the party.

  239. So let's keep reading verse nine.

  240. But there was a certain man called Simon which before time, in the same city, used sorcery and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying this man is the great power of God.

  241. Dr Fauci, he is absolutely to be believed.

  242. He should rule over us.

  243. We should believe everything he says.

  244. I think I connected with a nerve, I don't know.

  245. We should mask up yet again that have triple mass.

  246. Maybe, maybe we could have quadruple mass and not be able to breathe and then everybody kill over dead from lack of oxygen.

  247. I think that's really what they want, and to him they had regard because that of a long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

  248. If you don't think this country is being bewitched, this is demonic, this is I mean you got a whole party that's demonic, the demonic Democrats and half the Republicans, I'm sorry to say All the rhinos.

  249. But when they believed Philip preaching the thing concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus, they were baptized, both men and women.

  250. I mean, they didn't just get, he didn't just get people delivered and healed, he got them saved.

  251. They started baptizing people.

  252. They made converts.

  253. Then Simon himself, the sorcerer, simon himself believed also.

  254. It wouldn't use that word if he didn't get saved.

  255. He got saved.

  256. I said he got saved.

  257. Wouldn't it be great if Dr Fauci got saved?

  258. Wouldn't it be great if the National Institute of Health got saved?

  259. All these non-elected bureaucrats that want to rule over us?

  260. It'd be great if they got saved.

  261. They can either get saved or they can go someplace else, all right, they have a right to go to hell if they want to.

  262. He continued with Philip and wondered Say that's what signs and wonders do to make you wonder?

  263. Beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

  264. In fact, in my margin it says beholding the signs and great miracles.

  265. Here is a believer and he has had great miracles in Samaria, where Jesus had none.

  266. There are places on the globe where there hadn't been a move of God ever and I'm telling you, if believers would go ahead and rise up and go there, we could have a mighty, mighty outpouring.

  267. We could have a mighty, mighty revival all the way around the world.

  268. It's time for the church to be scattered abroad.

  269. You know, amen, yes, so.

  270. And then he said you know, they said about Simon the sorcerer.

  271. He had bewitched Samaria, he was some great one.

  272. All had given he, just like they had given he to Philip, that he was the great power of God.

  273. So they attributed his demonic power to God.

  274. I find it distressing that Hillary Clinton can ever use the name of Jesus or God in anything she's connected to, because God's not connected to her, not my God, you're so rude.

  275. No, I buy their fruit.

  276. You'll know them, all of these people, they'll invoke Nancy Pelosi.

  277. Are you kidding Pelosi?

  278. She can say Rosary after Rosary, it doesn't make one bit of difference.

  279. Buy their fruit, you'll know them.

  280. They had much regard.

  281. I'm just amazed that Americans have such regard for these people.

  282. When you can, I looked up the numbers that the CDC gave out their own numbers recently about this new variant and really, statistically, the death rate of the new variant is statistically zero.

  283. I mean, it's so tiny, it's so tiny and the infection rate is very small.

  284. And they're building it up.

  285. They're trying to build it up, see, cause they saw how they did with COVID-19.

  286. So here's the second bite at the apple.

  287. Here's a second shot of ruining the midterm elections.

  288. Let's ruin the economy again.

  289. Let's rob everybody of their.

  290. And how is it that two year old children are being masked?

  291. Are you nuts?

  292. You're gonna raise your child to be afraid?

  293. We've got a whole generation of children where we're raising them to be hypochondriacs.

  294. Shouldn't the church say something?

  295. Shouldn't the church get out there and say no, no, this is what the word says.

  296. This is what can happen right here.

  297. Glory to God, oh yeah, I like a term that I even preach on.

  298. I've got a whole message on, though yet, though something is happening.

  299. The devil is doing, yet God, though the devil, yet God.

  300. Everybody say that.

  301. Though the devil, yet God.

  302. So you don't forget the yet there's always a yet.

  303. When the church is involved, when the name of Jesus is involved, there's always a yet.

  304. There might be a, though, but yet Though he bewitched the region, yet the gospel, confirmed by signs and wonders, broke the sorcery.

  305. You can't even find where Philip cast the devil out of this guy.

  306. I mean, it didn't say that he came up for deliverance, he just got saved.

  307. You know, just the gospel, accompanied with signs and wonders.

  308. And Mark 16, it says that the disciples went out and preached everywhere the Lord working with them, confirming the word with signs.

  309. Following the word confirming means legitimizing.

  310. I mean, if we're to be believed, we've got to have some legitimizing, we've got to have some power behind us, otherwise we just.

  311. I mean, I know people want to debate, they want to have a.

  312. You know all this kind of stone, let you know a sign and a wonder.

  313. It ends the debate when people get healed and delivered.

  314. It ends the debate about who is standing in there for God.

  315. Amen.

  316. Notice, it was the preaching of the gospel, confirmed by signs and wonders.

  317. Not a, not a intercession, a prayer meeting, a praise and worship conference.

  318. There's time for prayer.

  319. We ought to all pray and have a prayer life.

  320. I'm sure Philip had a prayer life.

  321. But intercession and praying alone is not going to get this world to do anything.

  322. I'm sorry, it takes people to do something.

  323. I mean believers have to rise up and do.

  324. See, the book of Acts was written because they acted.

  325. They just pray, pray, oh God, oh God, oh, you know, hey, it's time to get up and do something.

  326. Oh, come on.

  327. Yes, so they had baptisms.

  328. We saw that.

  329. That was proof that people got actually say they got baptized.

  330. When they got baptized, they lined up to have their goods canceled and they, they lined up to not be invited to the family reunion, you know, not to be invited to Thanksgiving.

  331. Are y'all with me?

  332. Yes, they lined up for persecution.

  333. They lined up for persecution.

  334. They lined up for persecution.

  335. They lined up for persecution.

  336. They lined up for persecution.

  337. Well, up until recently persecution was kind of limited, like that kind of you know not, nobody remembers your birthday anymore, nobody, you know that type of thing.

  338. But now we've got government coming at our door trying to trying to have a papers they're trying to get major corporations to enforce.

  339. They won't let you in the door without your vaccination papers.

  340. They're using major corporate you know.

  341. I'd like to see this at some point in time Every CEO and every member of a board of director of a major corporation that participates in this.

  342. I'd like to see them have to stand for a judge and be judged on on.

  343. You know, whatever, whatever the law is, it ought to be totally illegal for them to do that.

  344. If it weren't for major corporations, the government couldn't do what they've done.

  345. They couldn't.

  346. Governor Abbott, if you ever hear this, I call on you to join with at least 23 other states that joined that lawsuit before Trump went out of office or right after he went out of office, and let's get together and say no to all this stuff.

  347. Tell them to go pound sand, amen.

  348. And so even Simon himself believed in, was baptized.

  349. Signs and wonders kept occurring.

  350. The Bible says great miracles, great miracles.

  351. I'll tell you, the devil can't compete with demonstration of the spirit and of power.

  352. The devil can't compete with it.

  353. He has no power like that.

  354. All he has is lies.

  355. All he has is deception.

  356. He has no legitimate power that we have.

  357. We have that supernatural God given power, and the church at large has let it wane.

  358. We have tried to just move popular.

  359. Let's not have all this running around the church.

  360. How many of you saw people running last Sunday?

  361. We do that.

  362. Some of you think what is that all about?

  363. Well, you'll find out if you stick around.

  364. Never say never.

  365. Glory to God.

  366. Everybody say though, yet See though, this man had them totally deceived and bewitched through the occult.

  367. Yet God's power, through the preached word, preaching with demonstration, broke that spirit over that whole city and was great joy and that's.

  368. Come on, let's just lift our hands right now.

  369. Hallelujah, woo, glory to God.

  370. I mean, god is a sign giving God, and he wants His people to be like he is.

  371. I remember when I'd be out mowing the grass and Gladys bought Jay a little plastic lawn mower.

  372. He'd be out there, you know, doing like I was doing.

  373. He's pushing his plastic lawn mower across the yard.

  374. That make him believe he was mowing the grass.

  375. He wanted to go with me to my job site.

  376. I bought him a pair of rubber boots and he'd wade out there in the wet concrete.

  377. He thought that was so neat and he wanted to be like his dad.

  378. He still wants to be like his dad.

  379. He is like his dad and my daughter's, like her dad, praise God.

  380. Well, we need to be like God.

  381. We need to be God imitators.

  382. We're imitators or followers of God.

  383. Ephesians, chapter five.

  384. Be therefore followers of God as dear children walk and love.

  385. Follower means imitators.

  386. We ought to imitate God in the signs and wonders department.

  387. I got ahold of this decades ago and I just, I just believe that that was my role.

  388. I just believe that that's what I should be doing.

  389. I went to a church, lakewood church, john Osteen.

  390. He encouraged the believers ministry.

  391. We do that around here too.

  392. The everybody say the believers ministry.

  393. Every believer has a ministry.

  394. Do you know that you don't have to have a gift of healing to lay hands on the sick?

  395. Really, it has nothing to do with gifts of the spirit.

  396. It has to do with you transmitting the life of God through your hands.

  397. That's all it is.

  398. It's not even anointing.

  399. Really, you can't even call it a gift.

  400. Some people get all confused about gifts of the spirit.

  401. Yeah, there's a gift of the spirit called gifts of healings, but that's not what this is talking about.

  402. Jesus wasn't talking about that he's talking about.

  403. Every believer has this life in them and they can transmit this life, and it's abundant life.

  404. It's life that's superior in quality.

  405. It is qualitative and quantitative.

  406. Yes, how can you have a quality of life when you're sick?

  407. That's right.

  408. When you can't walk, when you can't move that pain, you can't.

  409. You need the life of God.

  410. Amen.

  411. Years ago I'd gone out to the Hill country.

  412. My brother was living out in a little place called Vanderpool, just north of Utopia yes, there is a Utopia, texas.

  413. My brother and I have been close really all our lives, but especially our adult life.

  414. We were in business together for a long time and now that we both got saved we're very close Back to him, probably every week or at max maybe two weeks.

  415. But in those years we were still going to church at Lakewood and we had a weekend.

  416. So we drove down and drove out there and had a visit and then came time to leave, go back to Houston and we left early on a Monday morning.

  417. I had to get back and check on some jobs that I had and things were kind of troubled at that point.

  418. I had some challenges in my business and that's what happens when you have a 14.75% interest rate.

  419. I had a mortgage on my house 14.75% and it stopped up the sale of houses as people just couldn't pay that kind of interest.

  420. And so, anyway, I started off praying in other tongues, driving down the road and finally I just lapsed off.

  421. Best way you could describe me that morning was devoid of all joy and gladness.

  422. I wouldn't say depressed, I would just say kind of melancholy.

  423. I tried, I did a little bit, but I just didn't get over the hump.

  424. So we get to San Antonio.

  425. I've got to pull over and get gasoline, pull in this Texaco station right off I-10.

  426. And my mother was with us.

  427. I don't know what happened to the kids.

  428. They weren't with us that trip.

  429. I think we must have left them.

  430. I forgot where we left them.

  431. But anyway, that's what happens.

  432. Anything to get rid of?

  433. No, I'm not, but my mother and of course, gladys.

  434. And so I'm out there pumping the fuel.

  435. And then, first my mother comes out, there's a man in there.

  436. It's got a migraine headache.

  437. You should pray for him.

  438. Well, I didn't want to hear that and I thought to myself why don't you pray?

  439. You saw him, why don't you pray for him?

  440. But I didn't say that to my mother.

  441. She probably snatched me ball headed.

  442. And then Gladys comes out I'm just about finished.

  443. She said John, john, john.

  444. She has always three times.

  445. And I shook my head.

  446. I know what's coming.

  447. There's a man in there.

  448. He's got a migraine headache and he is hurting so bad you really need to go in there and pray for him.

  449. I said what is this?

  450. I mean to both of these women saw the man?

  451. Well, I didn't.

  452. They prayed for him and I didn't want to.

  453. Really, I needed that man to pray for me.

  454. Why don't you lay hands on me?

  455. And so I walked up and it was an outside window and the guy that waited on me, hispanic gentleman.

  456. He had a scar all the way across his face, right over his eyelid, across his nose, where he didn't slashed with a knife.

  457. And I kept looking at him and looking at him, trying to figure out if he was the one they were talking about.

  458. He was not, because the other man I was he was talking about was inside the station sitting at a card table in the corner.

  459. I didn't see him, and so by that time three people are behind me waiting to pay.

  460. So I just paid and left.

  461. Did you pray for him.

  462. No, I didn't even see him.

  463. That guy looked fine to me.

  464. No, it was the guy in the corner.

  465. You looked at the wrong person.

  466. I said well, you didn't explain all of it and I just kept driving.

  467. I got 15, 20 miles down the road.

  468. Finally, I couldn't go any further.

  469. I had to do a U-turn.

  470. I repented, I U-turned, I U-turned and boy, I'm telling you, that's when I felt like killing the giant.

  471. That's when I knew that I was anointed to lay hands on the sick.

  472. That's when all of that other stuff left me.

  473. When I finally cooperated, I said when I finally cooperate.

  474. I said when I finally, when is the church going to turn around and finally cooperate?

  475. Well, I just, I don't have that.

  476. Yes, you do.

  477. You have that ministry because you're a believer.

  478. Every believer has the same ministry.

  479. Otherwise, god has got a pecking order and he does not have a pecking order.

  480. He didn't say anything about a pecking order in Mark 16.

  481. He said believers.

  482. He didn't even say baby Christians can't.

  483. Baby Christians can lay hands on the sick.

  484. People that are not mature in the Word can still lay hands on the sick, and God will honor that.

  485. Why?

  486. Because they have the life of God in them and it will go out of their hands into sick people and it says they sick, didn't say the Christians sick.

  487. When you talk about a sign is when an unbeliever gets healed.

  488. You want a sign that what I'm saying is legitimate Get an unbeliever healed.

  489. So I walked in the station.

  490. Sure enough, there he was, sitting there.

  491. He had a gray complexion, he looked terrible and he kinda looked up when I walked in there, kinda bold, you know.

  492. I said, sir, my wife and mother were just in here.

  493. They let me know that you had a migraine headache.

  494. And he got his packed cigarettes out, started packing them down, put one of his mouth about to light it.

  495. He said, yeah, nothing different, I've had these for 32 years.

  496. And I said, well, I've got something that will help you.

  497. And he thought I was gonna try to sell him some pills, drugs.

  498. About that time a guy's arm came in front of me.

  499. It reached in the cooler and got a quart of beard and pulled it out.

  500. We're not exactly by ourselves.

  501. I said, sir, I was already down the road and the Lord had me turn around.

  502. Jesus sent me back here.

  503. When I said Jesus, like that, he dropped his cigarette.

  504. Jesus sent me back here.

  505. Today is your day.

  506. God wants to heal you of this thing.

  507. I couldn't believe.

  508. I said that.

  509. What in the world are you saying that for I?

  510. It's too late.

  511. I said it and he starts looking around thinking what is he gonna do next?

  512. I had him in a corner he couldn't get out.

  513. I mean sometimes I said, would you mind going out to my van with me?

  514. I said I'd be glad to.

  515. You know, pray for you out there.

  516. And so we walked out the door.

  517. I said, sir, this is your day.

  518. And he just looked at me like are you nuts?

  519. And so I got him in the passenger seat.

  520. I sat in the driver's seat and I said, sir, let me just pray for you a moment here.

  521. And so I closed my eyes.

  522. I didn't know how to pray, I didn't know what to say, so I just prayed in other tongues under my breath, with my eyes closed, and I put my hand on his head.

  523. And as I did that, I saw him with his horrible look on his face and he had a worm drive clamp, you know like a radiator hose clamp, only bigger, stainless steel.

  524. I still see it right now and it had been tightened around his head and I found out later that was the appliance of the devil.

  525. I didn't see the demon, but I saw the demons work.

  526. Since then I've seen axes and arrows and all kinds of weaponry the devil uses.

  527. Thank God I don't have to see demons to operate in that.

  528. Well, I know that's a different.

  529. I didn't need all of that, god just gave it to me.

  530. I didn't ask him for it.

  531. I still would have laid hands on him simply without anything.

  532. I just wanted to know how to proceed.

  533. And so I asked under my breath what do I do with that?

  534. He said break it in my name.

  535. And so I just rose my voice.

  536. I said I break this clamp of pain in the name of Jesus.

  537. I commanded to leave right now and don't return, and that's all I said.

  538. Took my hands off of him and he said the pain is gone Instantly, the pain lifting 32 years of migraine headaches that left.

  539. Are y'all with me?

  540. Now I'm talking about the believers ministry.

  541. Now Everybody say the believers minister.

  542. So I said, sir, I'm not finished.

  543. I said wouldn't it be terrible if, now that Jesus has been healed with no strings attached, he didn't ask you to do anything?

  544. Wouldn't it be terrible if you just died in a car wreck later this afternoon and your life just end and you go to hell healed.

  545. I said that's where you're headed.

  546. You're going to hell if you don't get saved.

  547. You need to get saved.

  548. Would you give your heart to the one that just healed you, with no strings attached?

  549. He said oh, I got to.

  550. I said no, do you want to?

  551. He said I want to and so I led him to the Lord and so he he closed his eyes reverently, said the sinner's prayer.

  552. Then we opened them.

  553. He started weeping.

  554. This is a man and listen, they don't weep, you know, especially in front of other men, or anybody might weep in private, but not like that.

  555. And he said I said isn't it wonderful to be free of pain?

  556. He said, well, yeah, that's that's, that's wonderful.

  557. But he said that's not why I'm crying.

  558. I said, well, why are you crying?

  559. He said look at the grass.

  560. I said yeah, he said it's green and we were side of the it and the freeway was right there and big old slope of green, freshly mowed grass.

  561. It was springtime, like March, april or something.

  562. They just it was green as it could be A lot of rain, which is rare for San Antonio, and he had been so blinded by the devil his his, he couldn't even have an accurate picture of this world that we live in.

  563. That's when God showed me how that lost people walk around with a veil and they don't really see God's creation the way it really is.

  564. Glory to God.

  565. He got healed and then he got saved.

  566. Come on, let's praise God for that.

  567. How many of those are waiting in your life?

  568. How many of those are waiting in your pathway?

  569. How many of those are waiting for you to arrive, cause you may be the only person that goes by their life with the message that you have, or you, with me now, so you know there's hope for America.

  570. Sometimes, when I look at just things that I see and hear, when I see the headlines, when I see the evil that seems to be not confronted, justice is not coming out, criminals turned out of jail with no accountability whatsoever to murder again, kill people I mean one guy had an ankle monitor seven times.

  571. He'd been out of jail with no, no bail seven times.

  572. And sometimes when I see that I'm thinking you know it's all over.

  573. But then when I get into the word, I think about how big God is.

  574. I think about how powerful the church is.

  575. I don't believe Jesus is coming back for a weak church.

  576. I don't believe he's coming back for a powerless church.

  577. I don't believe he's coming.

  578. He's giving us the message, he's giving us the power, he's giving us the authority.

  579. One miracle can turn things around.

  580. I mean, if God can get rid of Simon the sorcerer, he can get rid of Fauci the sorcerer and Biden.

  581. I won't say what I was going to say.

  582. We've been seduced for a long time by the spirit of Antichrist.

  583. It resides in almost every department of our federal government, than our state government, than our local government.

  584. I mean, it looks hopeless.

  585. Okay, I'll grant you, it looks hope.

  586. But we don't go by how it looks, we go by what the word says.

  587. Signs and wonders and miracles will neutralize the enemy.

  588. Our job is to hold back the spirit of Antichrist.

  589. Our job is not to get rid of him.

  590. He's going to rise, but we don't have to let him rise right now.

  591. We can put the stops to him and let's not wait for the preachers to do it.

  592. Let's not wait for so and so to do.

  593. Well, he's anointed.

  594. I don't have anything to do with the anointing, Doesn't have anything to do with the gifts of the spirit.

  595. It has something to do with just obedience, sharing your truth, sharing your story and then meeting the need of suffering, sighing, crying, dying humanity.

  596. They need what you've got.

  597. So let's go everywhere proclaiming the good news.

  598. Let's stir ourselves up, let's get this bad taste that we have.

  599. We've got.

  600. This bad taste tries to come in.

  601. I literally have a bad taste in my mouth.

  602. Sometimes it's just the atmosphere is so toxic, and so that's why we've got to rejoice, that's why we've got to praise God.

  603. He's bigger than the devil.

  604. I bet signs and wonders, the importance of signs and wonders.

  605. Come on, lift your hands and receive today.

  606. Glory to God, hallelujah.

  607. Glory to God.

  608. The importance of signs and wonders.

  609. We're created with them, we were born with them.

  610. When we were born again, hallelujah, did you get anything out of this this morning?

  611. How many of you are going to be doers of the word and not hear us on?

  612. See, I believe Houston can be changed.

  613. I believe your neighbor who can be changed?

  614. I believe you know.

  615. I believe that the city can be changed.

  616. Yes, it's corruption, but you know there was corruption then there was corruption.

  617. Hallelujah, we're created with signs and wonders and miracles.

  618. Hallelujah, come on, let's just lift our hands one more time.

  619. Father, we thank you that we're people of the supernatural, in Jesus' name.
