The Believer's Authority 1

Let's wave our bibles around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

Say this together.

Say heavenly Father, I'm so glad I'm a covenant person.

I base my life on the promises of the covenant.

They are not just promises, they are facts, and I'm persuaded by the Word of God and by the Spirit of truth to possess all that Jesus bought and paid for for me.

In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

Praise God, hallelujah.

Let's turn in our bibles.

First of all the book of Genesis, chapter one.

We're gonna read the entire Bible this morning.

No, we're not.

Genesis 1, 26.

And God said you know, all the way through the creation account, god said and God saw.

I like what Brother Mark Hankins says about that.

He said you know, god's Word was created for us to say, so that we could see.

And he said and then he saw Most people wanna see it, and then they'll say it.

But that's wrong.

That's the one that he said it first.

And then he saw it.

So what did he say about us?

He said and God said let us who's the us he's talking about?

The father, the son, the holy ghost.

Let us make a man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion.

Everybody shout dominion or everybody shout authority.

Let them have authority over the fish of the sea, over the cattle, the foul of the air, the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

In other words, we've been given authority over all creeps.

There's a lot of creeps in our government, man, I tell you, and we've got.

I mean, they are crawling on all fours.

So we're made like God and we're made to have dominion.

That was God's plan in the very beginning.

He hadn't changed.

You know, god never changes.

I'm the Lord.

I changed, not Malachi.

Four Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever.

I mean, god does not change.

His word does not change.

Everything else changes.

See, that's why I'm gonna hook up with the word, I'm gonna hook up with God.

All right.

And then let's look at Matthew 28, verse 16.

Matthew 28:16

Then the 11 disciples went away into Galilee.

This is after Jesus died and his resurrection from the dead.

Jesus came and the 11 disciples went away into Galilee.

This is just a couple of days after the last supper, not very long, you know.

Maybe, I don't know three weeks a month.

And the 11 disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them, and when they saw him, they worshiped him.

But some doubted.

Can you imagine at this stage of the game?

Jesus is about to be lifted off the earth and ascended to heaven.

He's already you know.

So if it was 10 days later that they received the Holy Ghost, this is about a month after his resurrection and they still got disciples out of the 11 that are doubting.

Some doubted, and so Jesus said you're fired.

Go find something else to do with your life.

I'm going to roast you over an open fire.

No, he gave them this wonderful what we're gonna read.

He's limited into the people that he had poured into for three and a half years, and one of them is already dead.

He committed suicide.

He committed suicide, jesus.

So there's 11 left, and so some doubted, and Jesus came and spake unto them saying all power.

That word power there is the Greek word exosia, which means authority.

All authority in heaven and in earth is given unto me.

Go ye.

Therefore, we have authority when we go.

We have authority when we occupy territory that God has claimed, when we take dominion.

You know, when we have dominion, what do kings do?

Kings reign in their domain.

We reign in our domain.

Where's our domain, all the earth, go into all the world, go ye.

Therefore, teach all nations.

Didn't say some of the nations Teach.

In my margin it says I've got a little two by the word teach.

And it says make disciples.

Didn't say have a crusade and get them saved, get them down in an altar call.

I said this recently, but I've seen lots and lots.

I don't know how many people I've seen come up in altar calls, and all my years I've seen probably, I think, thousands, I could just say thousands, and I wonder how many of them are saved.

You know, really, based on their performance, I'd have to save very few of them.

They didn't show back up the next week, otherwise we wouldn't have room to hold them.

Well, those things I just talked about that, where are they, john?

I wish I knew.

But group to go get them.

Hey, what'd you come down here for If you're not gonna get saved?

What'd you come down here for?

And raise your hand and say the sinner's prayer.

Everybody stood up and clapped and everybody went whoa, glory to God.

And then you don't show back up.

You don't even show back up for service, much less get baptized.

I can't even get you on the telephone, won't return my phone call.

Yeah, I used to follow up.

They wouldn't even return your phone call.

Most of them I can count on two hands in all the years that I did that at Lakewood.

I see how many years does that be?

Probably about seven, I think, and I can count on two hands, the number that I was able to connect with.

He got back to church.

Rest of them, you think they're saying well, I don't know, I doubt it.

They didn't show up.

Anyway, he said no, don't go in there and say don't go in there and try to get people, just to say the sinners.

Prairie said make disciples of them, make Christians.

It says here Christians of all nations.

God wants Christian nations.

I said God wanted Christian nations.

When we think nations, we think of borders, we think of countries.

No nations again means people groups, and it's possible for the gospel to be preached by people who know their authority to go out and speak the Word of God and get whole people groups as Christians.

What if all the Saudis got saved and they were all Christians?

What if the Iranians were all Christians?

You think they'd be killing people in the streets, mowing them down with AKs.

Now they got better than AKs.

Now they've got all the billions of dollars worth of weapons that we went off and left.

It's chilly.

Go ye, therefore.

Therefore, what's it there for?

Because we have authority.

If he hadn't given us authority, we wouldn't have anything.

We would just be up against, like all the other religions of the world.

You know, the other religions of the world have to use intimidation.

They have to use lies, they have to use force.

Islam is a.

They have to use force.

Nobody wants to be a Muslim.

They have to be made, they have to be threatened.

Same with Hindus.

And when you're over there preaching the gospel, they try to kill you because they don't want you in there.

They're not even in.

Now it was the Philippines.

The nuns protested me.

They didn't want me in there either.

That kind of tells you what they are.

They're just religious.

They're not even saved.

They just want to protect their little Catholic Catholicism.

That's not saved.

Go ye, therefore, and make disciples, make Christians of all people groups, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever.

I have commanded you and low.

I'm with you always, even into the end of the age.

The world, world there means age, the end of the age.

We're coming close to the end of the church age and so I wanted to share a message with you today, entitled the authority of the believer.

I've taught this many times and we practice it around here the believers, authority.

Everybody say authority.

And Well, pastor, I've heard this and heard this well.

You need to hear it again because every time you hear it it's watering your faith, faith coming by hearing, and hearing it doesn't come by having heard, and if there's ever a time when the church has got to have a revelation from God about its authority, it's God-given authority.

It's now, because you've got whole churches, and I'm not saying they're not saved, I'm just saying they're misguided, they're not taught correctly and they're countowing and complying with illegal and irreverent, non-elected officials.

Now, this country was founded by by God.

Really, he authored this, he helped this come into being as a Christian nation.

They saw themselves as as doing what this verse says.

Y'all are looking at me like a cow at a new gay, I Could dog at a new dish.

I Could go on, but I won't all right.

Now I know you're, you're, you're soaking it in.

Our great God and father Gave man authority.

You know, adam lost the authority in the garden.

He had authority.

He was his first man and that's why it was so tragic, because when he obeyed Satan and Eight of the tree and really he did it with his eyes open he did it because Eve.

Eve got tricked, eve got deceived, but Adam was not deceived.

Adam did it on purpose.

And Since Adam did it on purpose, he gave his authority as the God of this world to Satan and and Satan is still the God of this world His lease has not run out on the earth and all evil and all Disease and all terrible things that happen, all mass murders happen as a result of the fall of Adam.

We wonder how could this be?

How could all these people die?

How could a mass murder fall in the garden?

Evil has been born into the hearts of men.

God didn't design it.

Well, guys, says God created evil, and you know he didn't create evil.

I mean it's.

You got one verse.

It says it that way, but you've got to interpret one verse in light of all the other verses to say otherwise, in the sense that he created Lucifer.

He created Lucifer as an angel who was head of the worship team in heaven, and we can watch you.

We can look in Ezekiel 28, isaiah 14 and and some other verses and find out what happened to him.

But he got lifted up in pride and he was kicked out of heaven with a third of the other angels.

So God didn't create evil, he created good.

But good fell.

And then that, being deceived, eve who influenced her husband, are y'all with me now?

So all things I mean birth defects People don't understand.

Where did that come from?

Well, it came from the fall, and we're not exempt from living on this imperfect, you know, earth.

We have these things as a result of the fall and, besides that, we all were born into it.

That's why we had to be born again.

Born again doesn't change your flesh.

Born again doesn't change your brain.

Born again gives you a brand new spirit.

All right, y'all with me now?

So Satan became the God of this world or the God of this age.

Now, he's not capital G, he's littleG.

All that floating mass of opinions, speculations, maxims, aspirations that are, at any kind, current in the world.

Global warming is part of the God of this age.

Climate change, god of this age.

Green energy, god of this age.

Crt God of this age.

Lgbtq plus plus speed.

God of this age, are you with me now?

It's the devil, but it's More than that.

It's his influence.

It came as a result of the fall.

We've always had that influence.

We don't have to live in it, we can get above it.

That's my point today.

But God had a plan of redemption.

When that happened, you think God didn't see it coming.

Let's look back to Genesis again.

Here's God's plan of redemption, hidden here, not from us, but for us, hidden from the devil.

The devil didn't know what it was.

It says here in Genesis 3, 15, and I will put enmity between V and he's G.

God is talking to the serpent.

After he Tricked Eve and and Adam and they, they fell.

He.

He said I will put enmity between the and the woman, the woman, notice.

He didn't say all women, he said the woman.

So now, if I'm Satan, I'm thinking who is that?

What woman is that?

That's why the world's religions hate women.

They despise them.

They put them under their heel.

They're already person.

Taliban's already doing evil things to women right now.

Islam is so mean, hinduism mean to women.

The religious Christians are mean to women.

They all they know they want women to have hair 30 foot long and piled up on top of their head with no makeup, and call that some something like God wanted.

God didn't say anything about that.

I'll put in the team between the, in the woman, the woman, and between the sea, the seed of the.

Everybody say the seed of the woman and it, or more it being a seed, but really it's he.

He shall bruise thy head and thou shall bruise his heel.

We don't understand that in our western civilized society, but in, you know, in, in the Bible society, eastern, in the east, you exercise the banyan by putting your foot on the neck or on the head of your enemy.

I saw in the first Gulf War 1990 the brother of Saddam Hussein.

He had his little pistol and his uniform and his boots and he was walking down a line of poor folks that were scared out of their minds and they were bowing.

They were on their knees and they were bowing with their face to the ground.

You ever see these Muslim bound, they put their face on the ground.

They do that toward, toward Mecca, but they also do it to people they're afraid of, to show obeisance, to show submission.

And so this one guy was just, he was trembling you can see it in the video and he was bowed.

And then Saddam Hussein's brother put his right boot on top of the guy's head and shoved his head into the ground.

And I thought about this verse.

This is what Jesus did to the devil he put his foot.

He put his foot.

We're told to tread upon serpents and scorpions.

How many of you know?

It's not talking about snakes and insects, it's talking about demon powers.

They're under our feet.

Go right at God.

We need to act like that.

Quit magnifying the devil all the time.

The devil, the devil.

How about magnifying God?

Well, god is in control.

No, he's not.

Quit saying that.

It's religious and it's wrong.

He's not in control.

He's an ultimate control, of course, but he is not in control of this world right now.

The God of this age has control over his people, his seed God talked about his seed.

Everybody's lost is the seed of the devil.

We were the seed of the devil before we got saved, but now, praise God, we're in Christ.

So we're the seed of the woman.

Hallelujah, we can put our feet on top of the devil and demon powers.

You don't get anything out of this now.

So Jesus is the last Adam and he regained the authority that Adam lost and was able.

Then, after he defeated the devil, after his resurrection, he defeated Satan and led it as a train of vanquished foes.

He led him in the spirit realm.

He led them all across heaven, he led them down in Abraham's bosom and he let the spirits locked up there.

All of the new Old Testament saints, moses and Abraham, and all the Old Testament saints were in the bosom of Abraham in a place in a chamber next to hell.

Read your Bible.

They weren't in heaven, they were down below.

That wasn't burning, there was no fire there.

But they were held there until their redemption was affected and Jesus revealed himself to them and he led them out of there.

And he led a train of vanquished foes which the devil and demon power.

He made a show of them openly trying things over them Colossians 3.

So then he turned around and delegated his authority to believers, not just apostles to believers.

Are you a believer?

Yes, I've been talking about the importance of signs and wonders.

I've been talking about the believers ministry, disciples, the marks of a disciple last week and an eyes exhibited these characteristics.

This is what we've got to do.

This is why I'm preaching this message.

The church.

Part of waking up.

The church is for the not just to to know but to do.

We've got to say some things but we're going to see anything.

I said we've got to say some things before we're going to see anything.

If we've got to change what we're saying about everything, if all we're doing is complaining, that's all we're going to ever have.

We can complain until Jesus comes.

And you know, I just look.

We've got to answer the evil that we're seeing.

We've got to speak against it, we've got to confront it.

Are y'all with me now?

Yes, and so Jesus, the last Adam.

The Bible calls him the last Adam and we're in him.

What does that mean?

We just think about how Adam was created and he had dominion over everything.

He named all the animals, 500,000 different species.

Pretty smart guy.

I don't think I could come up with 500 names, much less 500,000 names.

Art, vark, armadillo, all the way down.

What is the blind catfish?

I was watching the other and I have a blind catfish down in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, way down.

And the way down they go down and they can't even find the bottom of those caverns of water.

I don't know what kind of diver would dive in that kind of water.

They got to lower themselves on ropes and then they go in this deep cavern, dark, it's, no light.

They've got lights.

What if the lights go out?

And I keep thinking about what happens with the light.

No, batteries wear out.

And they found this yellow catfish.

You can't tell how big it is, but it's blind.

The only thing it knows is what it can feel.

And why is it blind?

Because it doesn't need eyes, couldn't see.

If it had eyes, no light to see, how does it know what to eat?

I guess it gets up next to it and puts it in its mouth, like I don't know.

But anyway, what do you call a blind catfish?

I don't know.

That's probably a pretty good joke if I could think of the punch line District attorney.

No, I would say I'd better take a drink on that.

You know?

Catfish or bottom dwellers.

Okay, that's enough of that.

So then he delegated his authority to the believer and Mark, chapter 16,.

Mark 16 · chapter mention

He said much the same thing in Mark 16.

That's just another picture of what we just read in Matthew 28.

He said, going to all the world, preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth in his baptized shall be saved.

He that believeth not shall be condemned and these signs shall follow them.

That believe, see, that means it's not just the apostle, see, I've heard people say I'm just the apostle's first thing.

No, it's believers, and Mark, it's believers.

These signs shall follow them.

That believe they shall cast out demons.

Well, what do you think that's talking about?

It's talking about using authority Doesn't mean people puking in a bag.

It means getting rid of demonic obstruction.

You got a whole bunch of demonic obstruction right now it's called the Democrat Party.

They're Marxist, they're fond of taking our rights and them being the ruling class and the rules are for thee and not for me.

Glad to do that.

They're glad at Obama's birthday party.

None of them were mass, none of them.

And then they had a big super.

It was a super spreader event.

They had COVID running out their ears.

After that, a lot of them got sick.

Anyway, praise the Lord, I'm not rejoicing, I'm just reporting.

Pastor Lap, I'm just smiling, but I'm not rejoicing, I'm reporting.

They're rules.

Oh yeah, they've got lots of rules, rules, man, all right.

So these signs shall follow believers, see, they're, you know, absolute authority over demons, disease.

In Jesus' name.

That's what we've got In the context of what, of going.

It's not in the context of sitting in our rocking chair, it's not in the context of being a Monday morning quarterback, it's not in the context of sitting around, you know, twiddling in our thumbs and saying twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder who you are.

Blah, blah, blah.

Where you are, who you are, anyway.

So authority, let's look at authority now.

I'm going a long time here.

I'm not even a quarter through my, so we should be through by about three o'clock this afternoon.

Can we get through?

Can we order something, a Popeyes or something for everybody, authority is delegated power.

So the cop, you know, I know they're armed, but if they're direct in traffic, they're not direct in traffic because they're armed.

I mean, what good is their revolver or their gun against?

You know a dump truck filled with gravel or a concrete truck or something.

So what do they have?

Well, they have authority, they have their uniform, they have their authority, and so when they put their hand up, the guy driving knows that if he doesn't obey that command, he's going to have to answer to someone that gave that man that authority.

In this case it could be Lenna Hidalgo, which she would just dismiss all charges and let you go, wouldn't be?

You don't have to answer to anything unless you're a Republican, unless you're a Christian, then they're going to throw you in jail.

I know, tongue in cheek, I can't resist.

Let's look at some words in the Greek that are equivalent to authority.

Okay, listen, privilege, force, capacity, competency, boy.

We need competency.

How can we have competency in our elected officials when they're not even serving God?

What we have is incompetency.

What we have is stupid.

Pastors did stupid.

I know, I'm sorry, mom, do as I do and not as I say.

All right, so competency, freedom, freedom, mastery, delegated influence.

We have delegated influence.

This is the way we can pray for people that are not agreeing with us, pray for our family members, pray for our relatives, pray for our friends that have gotten on the other side of these issues that are going on right now and there's a lot of friction.

We're going to pray over that a little bit, but we have delegated influence.

When we pray, angels can be released, and they can.

They can make God's will real attractive to somebody, even if they're not saved.

Delegated influence, jurisdiction oh, I like that.

We have jurisdiction.

Strength.

The liberty to do is one pleases.

That was the whole reason America was born the liberty to worship God as one pleases or not worship God.

We didn't have a law that made people go to church.

We had a law that said you can't force them to go to some church or some particular church.

That's all it said.

It didn't.

It didn't try to get rid of religion, it just took away the law from forcing people.

But there's never been anything to hinder people from worshiping what they, how they choose Physical or mental power, and the power of rule or the power of government.

Come on, let's lift our hands.

Father, we thank you that we've been given authority in this world and in this age and we are learning more and more from your holy word about how to execute that.

That's what's needed in the church.

You talk about waking up the church.

It has to start pretty much with authority, because so many people are ignorant of it.

They've never taught anything.

They've been taught to be compliant.

They go to churches with a whole list of rules and regulations Don't do this, don't do that.

Keep the 10 commandments.

Look, you can keep the 10 commandments.

Still go to hell.

The 10 commandments are not for the church.

We have one commandment love.

Now we have no authority over human will, but we have supernatural influence.

That's what I wanted to get to.

We have supernatural influence over people that would not normally agree with us about anything.

In fact, they might be in our face, you know, trying to convince us.

You pray for them, and I'm telling you they can.

They can change.

And so we've got to decide whether we're going to have just mental agreement, because mental agreement won't get you into the authority that God has for the believer.

It's only by divine revelation.

That's why I'm preaching this faith, coming by hearing and hearing or by understanding.

And so it brings me to feeding on the faith, feeding our faith on what God has given us.

Ephesians, chapter one.

Brother Mark recently was here and spent some time on Ephesians chapter one, these verses.

When I got ahold of them, they changed everything, changed how I prayed, changed my life, and it just wasn't just when I read them in my Bible, it was when they were taught Brother Osteen teaching about our God given authority in Ephesians, chapter one, verse 17.

He's praying this prayer.

We can pray this prayer for ourselves and others.

I pray this prayer every day for myself that the God of our Lord, jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him.

That's what we need to know.

We need to know God.

We can't know him by our feelings.

We can't know him by our emotions.

We can't know him any other way except from revelation of his word.

We know him by his word.

The eyes of our understanding be enlightened.

Praise God.

One version says, flooded with light, that we might know what is the hope of his calling.

There's some things we need to know, not mental know, know in our knower, that we must know the hope of his calling.

I'm talking a lot about that right now.

I'm talking about his calling for us to rise up in authority.

And what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

It's not talking about our inheritance.

We have a wonderful inheritance, but God has an inheritance in us.

What is that?

For us to act like?

We're his sons and daughters and occupy, rise up in an authority he gave us.

And what's another thing?

What is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, the greatness of his power toward us who believe?

Well, what kind of power is that?

And then he tells you what it is, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

And then he says down in chapter two, for us to get a revelation about how you have equicent, who was dead in trespasses of sin, that same power that raised Christ from dead, raised you from the dead, raised me from the dead.

It brought me out of darkness into his marvelous light.

If I find out how great that power is, which is resurrection power, it's the greatest power on earth.

That's the power we have been given, delegated power.

We have delegated supernatural power, resurrection power that changes dead things into live things.

You can't know it by just oh, I like that.

No, that's not how it comes.

It comes by praying these prayers, spending time and allowing the Holy Spirit to show you your areas of influence.

I might not have much influence in your world, but you've got a lot of jurisdiction where you are.

Kings didn't go across and try to rule over here.

They're over here.

They've got a plot of ground.

They're ruling over them.

They've got their servants and they've got their cup bearers and they've got their throne and they've got their armies and all that.

But they don't go over next door because they go over next door and start trying to oh, they're going to be war, that king ain't going to like it.

So you know, we've got to develop a knowledge and the only way to do that is praying.

We pray and find out what it is that we have an open door to influence.

So this Holy Ghost inspired prayer I'm not going to read the whole thing, but you ought to be praying it and it's for us to be enlightened, flooded with light, the greatness of God's power when he raised Christ and when he raised us, and revelation of the believer's authority.

That's really what it is.

And our seeding Everybody say our seeding.

See, we're not.

We're not fighting battles from down here, we're way up, far above.

That's what a king is.

A king does not man.

I mean, he's not down there in the trenches, he's got people to get in the trenches.

He's not gonna go down there and get down in the trench.

He's got armies.

We've got armies.

We've got an army that we, when we pray, and the Holy Ghost, angels, are listening.

I don't know how many billions of angels have come.

I guess it's not billions of angels, but it's billions of trips From this church have been sent all over play when we have prayer on Thursday night.

When we pray, you know a power hour plus.

I mean angels are sent out to influence.

I like what one prophetess.

I can't think of her name right off hand, but she was close to Brother Hagin and she said there are no unanswered prayers.

When people refuse our prayers, it becomes their judgment.

So they all have a chance.

When we pray, they all have a chance because angels are gonna come up and bethidom God's gonna send laborers in their path to talk to them.

And if they keep closing their mind and closing their heart, like some of our elected officials, they're not listening to us.

They're turning the grassroots off.

They don't like what we're saying.

And, by the way, dan Patrick, if you're listening to me, resign.

Do us all a favor and quit as soon as possible.

I don't know if you saw it.

I saw the interview.

I think he said he blamed the latest spread on those who have not gotten the shot, and especially black people, because black people there's a higher percentage of them that have refused to take the shot.

He actually said it on Laura Ingram's show.

And I say resign, dan.

We've lost all confidence in you.

You don't know what you are doing Well.

We need better people than that.

What about the outreach?

We were lied about for 60 years by the Democrats called the party of the rich, when they're the party of the rich, they're the party of the Ku Klux Klan, they're the party of segregation, they're the party of discrimination all the way through, and somehow it was always Republican.

So we're trying to help people understand that's not right.

And then he comes up with a message like that and undoes all the good, a lot of the good, and hope it doesn't undo the good that we've showed you, because that's not the sentiments.

Amen, okay, so the believer's authority.

It says here authority, remember what it is.

It's delegated power, it's privilege, force, capacity.

I think the delegated influence is so powerful influence.

So let's look at three areas of authority.

We have authority over our own mind and body.

So I said this lately send the word.

I had a message on send the word.

Send your flesh and email, tell it to get in line with God's word.

Send your mind a text message.

Hey, quit thinking like that.

That's stinking thinking.

I didn't send that thought to you.

That thought came from outside.

I didn't author that thought.

That thought does not belong in your spaces there.

Get rid of it.

Who's the I there?

Your spirit, that's you.

Nobody's ever seen you.

They've just seen the body that you live in.

They've never seen you.

You've never seen you.

God sees you, he knows you, but you haven't seen you, and neither have I, neither has anybody, so that you, that spirit person, has got that authority over your own mind and body.

I mean, based on our communion today, I have a message speaking your way to health, just quit worrying about your health and speak to your body about the health Rebut, talk to the mountain of pain, talk to the mountain of infirmity and make it leave.

We got a lady that was having all kind of uh and it's gone right.

You don't mind me saying publicly so.

So loretta had kidney stones.

Anybody ever have kidney stones?

I know over here jimmy had kidney stones.

I I remember that one that was so bad may have went to the hospital.

I mean he had to go through all kind of stuff to finally get that out.

But I gave her jeremy twenty three, twenty nine.

Does not not my word burn like a fire?

And is it, is it not like a hammer that break it the rock in pieces?

And she said all.

I believe that, pastor, I believe that.

And it did, and she got out and she's, she got rid of it, praise god.

And then she wouldn't accept it.

You know some of the remedies they have, for that is not, I mean, it's a surgery and all that's terrible.

You don't want to do that.

If you can help it, well, we can help it.

We have authority.

So answer those false accusations the devil throws at your mind.

He'll try to tell you you're not worthy.

All that will work for you all know blah, blah, blah, no.

That just group.

Answer that is a no.

I'm the righteousness of god in christ.

Don't ever let the devil accused you of your past.

You can't believe how many christians believe that their trouble is because of things they did when they were younger.

That's a lot of all gone, every bit of it.

When you got saved, god cleared the slate and every time you admit when you've done wrong, be quick to to confess it and god wipes it away and doesn't remember it.

So you quit thinking about it, quit remembering it.

Number two we have authority over our home.

You have jurisdiction.

What happens in your home, with your?

What family?

If you're married, you've got children.

I, I still pray over my, even though they're not at home anymore.

But I still pray over my children, my grandchildren, every day.

I buy in the devil over them, just like I did when they were six.

Well, I know they're old enough to pray for themselves, I know that they know how, the word of god, they and all that, but but I, I just still exercise my influence.

Because why?

I have jurisdiction.

Jurisdiction been standing with my wife, jurisdiction over all the stuff that the devil is thrown at her and uh, and I had jurisdiction over my heart.

You know, little blip on the radar screen recently and I'm fine, praise god, my heart's normal now.

I'd sign this rhythm, normal blood pressure.

You know, everything's just cooking right along.

I have jurisdiction, authority over my home and so that delegated influence, the end.

I have influence.

Everybody say influence.

You know, even.

You know, instead of having confrontation, love, love your children, instead of trying to just butt heads with them.

You know, when they're growing up, they they're going to get to an age where they think you're stupid.

That's just normal.

That's just in the growing up process and don't take it personal.

Don't beat them with a big old stick and, just you know, make their life miserable.

Don't provoke your children to wrap.

The bible says learn how you know as they get older.

Spanking doesn't work.

Spanking work when they're too, but when they get older you'd have to hit them so hard to make them cry would be child abuse.

So if you're doing that, you're in the flesh, you're getting mad, and don't ever spank one man, cool off.

But anyway, I don't know who that's for.

But praise the lord.

No, you have authority over your home and you ought to pray first before you decide what the pun.

I'll tell you what.

You're grounded for a month.

Where you're grounded for a month, then, hey, dummy, you know, don't be pronouncing sentences in the flesh.

That's not, that's, that's abusive, really, and they don't, they're not going to respect you.

It let let the punishment fit the crime.

Okay, they were, they didn't show up on time or something.

Well, you know you don't have to make it a federal case.

Uh, know how to?

I don't know who needs it.

Pick your battles, but pick your battles.

I mean, don't make a federal case out of every side.

No, people that think that their children are in a military barracks.

I knew a couple one time, the mother especially, which is so strict and and and she would talk to her kids like they were just dirt.

It was embarrassing to ever be around when she was correct in her kids.

I'll never, I'll set no wicked thing before my face on fifty one also.

No wicked thing before my face here.

What you're with?

Wicked?

No, he's not wicked, he's a kid shut up.

But I couldn't say that I mean, I'm not her husband.

I knew her husband very well.

He didn't, couldn't say anything to her either.

Uh, no, do some prayer.

But the normal talk about his daughter.

One time she got to be seventeen, eighteen years old, she stayed out all ours of the night and day.

Zonah was her name.

She's in heaven now.

But zonah, she just got into this thing of rebellion and no, and like kids do and uh, he would just, you know, be waiting for when she got home and he just chew her out until she can miss the rapture and she's just, you know, he just you know, try to punish her.

She wouldn't even letting punisher.

That's how out of control.

He's a single bad.

His wife died, you know, of cancer when she was like thirty nine, and the women in the church state they met well, but they go to tell him and zonah, they were in the baptist church, all god was loans.

God just picked a flower.

He wanted your mother as a flower.

She's a little flower.

He picked your flower way she, you know, she and he both got mad at god because they thought that god took their wife and mother and when they found out, different women they were able to.

You know, god didn't take anybody.

God's not the author of death.

They may, so he'll receive them, but he's not taking anybody like that.

So, anyway, so she had a lot of problems growing up.

So he was crying one day his prayer time, blubbering and crying god, zonah, save her.

Oh, she's not saved zonah.

Oh, he said, well, I can't do anything with her.

And he said what?

I can't do anything with her, you're not loving her, you don't love her.

Why don't you try loving her?

She doesn't feel any love from you.

She just feels condemnation, she feels anger and resentment.

I can't do anything for her.

And boy, he changed just like that.

And so the next night she comes home three o'clock in the morning, he's waiting for her.

Zonah, honey, are you hungry?

I've got some eggs over here and some biscuits.

And he fed her breakfast and she thought what in the world.

What's wrong with this picture?

I thought he was going to throw a conniption fit and here he's got eggs and bacon and biscuits and everything before I sleep till noon and all that.

I guess she wasn't working, but anyway.

So, uh, oh, it was that way for a week or two.

And then one day, during the day, you know, she comes screaming ah, ah, ah, and she comes running in the, in the other part of the house where he was daddy, daddy, daddy, I just saw an angel.

Oh my god, oh my.

An angel appeared to her and scared every devil out of her, all the demons like that.

Delegated influence and then, finally, authority over your city, state and nation, your neighborhood, your neighborhood, a concentric circle, I mean it.

You, you rule over your house and you don't let sickness there, you don't let the strife there, you don't let things like that.

You know you do some praying, you pray over things, for you confront things and you your quick.

You slow to speak, slow to wrath, you know quick to love, and uh, and then you can.

You can wind up having authority, delegated influence, force, capacity, competency, delegated influence over your city and you know you say, well, me alone, well, yeah, you alone, plus being part of the church that believes that, because when we have individual members of our church has a vision that what they pray and say out of their mouth is worth something than when we get together and pray.

Let me tell you something there's massive amounts of power being released toward our city to change things that are going the wrong direction.

What else do we have?

Well, we have to vote, yeah, we have to.

We have to inconvenience ourselves.

Sometimes we're gonna have to run for office, like the school board, or maybe we're gonna have to run for precinct chair.

Maybe we're gonna have to put ourselves and make ourselves available to be part of the solution instead of just complaining.

But if we'll do that and I've seen what happened, I mean in this church, just in the last eighteen months our capacity, our force, our footprint has increased exponentially.

I'm telling you we're having an influence.

I said we're having an influence, praise god.

So, in jesus name, we're individually and corporately influencing the world as we go.

Come on, lift your hands in the sea, praise god.

Hallelujah, did you get anything out of this today?

I want a little longer, longer than I expected, but you know it's uh, I've got a series.

I want to preach on this.

I want to get it into you, along with everything else I've been sharing with you lately, because I know that we're right on the cusp of revival and the church is going to have to be in position to affect, you know to.

To cause the revival to be effective, we gotta have authority, amen, a revelation of it.

Alright, amen, praise, god, come on, let's lift our hands, thank him right.
