  1. Let's reach down and pick up our Bibles, worship, take a beautiful, beautiful job.

  2. What a beautiful job it was, amen.

  3. Let's wave our Bibles around, make Jesus glad in the devil man, let's get into the Word of God.

  4. I tell you, the presence of God is here, so rich.

  5. Let's say this together say heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here today because it's yet another opportunity to spend time in your presence.

  6. You're leading me from strength to strength and from glory to glory, from one level of faith unto another.

  7. I thank you for what I have, but I know there's more and I want it today.

  8. In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

  9. I'm teaching a series this is the last of three on the Believer's Authority.

  10. So let's turn in our Bibles to our Foundation Scriptures Genesis, chapter one, and Matthew 28,.

  11. We'll start in Genesis one, 26, the creation account.

  12. And God has created man.

  13. And he says in verse 26, god said let us make a man in our image and after our likeness and let them have dominion.

  14. Everybody.

  15. Shout dominion, shout authority.

  16. Let them have dominion over what?

  17. The fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth.

  18. That means all the earth's wealth belongs in our hands.

  19. That was the original plan of God and he hasn't changed his mind.

  20. And over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, that means all the creeps.

  21. There's a lot of creeps creeping around today and they're under our authority.

  22. We don't have to let them win.

  23. Amen, all right.

  24. And then in Matthew 28, jesus is speaking to his disciples on the.

  25. This is 40 days after the resurrection.

  26. He's about to be lifted off into heaven.

  27. He's saying goodbye to them, verse 16,.

  28. And when the 11 disciples I thought there were 12, well, one of them was Judas, and he committed suicide.

  29. He fell by the wayside.

  30. Even somebody who spent every day of three and a half years.

  31. There's no wonder that people fall by the wayside today when we haven't seen him.

  32. He's not in our, but the church is here, all right.

  33. So they went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them, and when they saw him, they worshiped him.

  34. But some doubted man of the 11, you'd think they'd get with the program.

  35. You know, some of us are a little slow in the uptake, but we're catching up fast, amen.

  36. And Jesus came and spake out of them saying I'm gonna fire you, I'm gonna get somebody else.

  37. This is all they had to work with.

  38. You know, if he can work with them, he can work with us.

  39. I figured this out 40 years ago.

  40. You know, if he can work with them, he can work with me.

  41. And so he said all power.

  42. That word power, there is the Greek word of the exorcist.

  43. It means authority.

  44. All authority, all dominion is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

  45. Go ye, therefore.

  46. There's the delegation.

  47. Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations.

  48. My margin says make disciples of all nations.

  49. We think about borders.

  50. We think about countries.

  51. No, it's people groups.

  52. It's people groups.

  53. Borders come and go.

  54. Borders are altered by war, which is one of the horrible things about the Middle East.

  55. None of the borders are correct.

  56. Israel is much bigger than its borders today, but God's borders are the only ones that count.

  57. So, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever, I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age.

  58. So the believer's authority.

  59. Years ago, god told me to teach what I take for granted.

  60. I take these truths for granted, but the more I live in this world today and see Christians that have no God.

  61. I mean, they have no idea.

  62. They pray pitiful prayers like 2 Corinthians 714, which is not for the church to pray.

  63. Oh God, heal our land.

  64. No, god's not gonna do a thing about our land.

  65. He already did everything he's gonna do.

  66. He sent Jesus and Jesus went off the earth and he gave us authority.

  67. If there's any healing to be done, we're gonna have to do it.

  68. We're gonna have to kick somebody out of office.

  69. We're gonna have to demand they leave.

  70. That's how the land is healed.

  71. You clean up the mess.

  72. I think you could make a pretty good case that we're in the mess.

  73. We're in because the church has done nothing.

  74. Are you with me now?

  75. But God's not through with the church and he's not through with America.

  76. So our great God and Father gave man authority and we know the story.

  77. Adam had all that authority and he lost it, or actually he let it be stolen.

  78. Actually he gave it away.

  79. I mean, the devil didn't even have to steal it.

  80. He deceived Eve.

  81. But Adam knew, had his eyes both wide open, and he gave, he obeyed the devil as the God of this world.

  82. That was Adam, that was his title, little G God of this world he's just made just like in the likeness and image of God.

  83. He's ruling this world.

  84. He named the animals, 500,000 different species.

  85. They passed before him.

  86. He's looking for a wife.

  87. He couldn't find a wife.

  88. Ard Vark, armadillo, I mean, you know, after about a hundred you'd run out, not him.

  89. Half a million, no woman, no, and God had to make one out of himself.

  90. Amen, you know the story.

  91. It's true.

  92. It's not a fable You've got.

  93. They're teaching in the seminaries, cemeteries, seminaries, that the Bible is a collection of fables passed down from one generation to the next.

  94. No, it is the inerrant word of God.

  95. Amen, so he said.

  96. So.

  97. Adam, you know, lost it to the devil.

  98. He allowed the devils to take it and Satan became the God of this world.

  99. He became the ruler of everything and was that way for the longest time.

  100. God had a plan of redemption.

  101. In Genesis 3.15, he said the seed of the woman shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.

  102. And that's talking about dominion, that's talking about authority.

  103. In the East, when someone took authority over an enemy, they put their foot on their necks.

  104. Are you with me now?

  105. So God was talking about the seed of the woman.

  106. That's one reason why the devil hates women.

  107. He still hates women and he tries to subjugate them.

  108. He tries to make them into merchandise.

  109. He trades in women, traffics in women.

  110. Are you with me now?

  111. It's the same devil.

  112. It's the same devil that took his authority.

  113. Guess what God sent Jesus?

  114. Jesus defeated the devil.

  115. He took back the authority and gave it to the church.

  116. So he said in Revelation 1.19,.

  117. When he appeared to John, he said I am he that liveth and was dead.

  118. And behold, I'm alive forevermore.

  119. Hey, and guess what?

  120. I have the keys.

  121. I have the keys right here.

  122. See, keys denote authority.

  123. Oh, glory to God.

  124. I've got the keys, john, and I'm giving them to you.

  125. Glory to God.

  126. Come on, let's just lift our hands.

  127. Come on, let's just lift our hands.

  128. That's why I don't give up.

  129. We have authority and we can still exercise that authority.

  130. We should be.

  131. I came across, somebody was answering one of my posts and they said oh, we should not look down on people that are wrong.

  132. We should keep it to ourselves and pray.

  133. See, that's one reason why we're in the mess we're in.

  134. They don't wanna open their mouth and speak against evil.

  135. You know, the fear of the Lord is to hate evil, pride and arrogance and every unclean and evil way.

  136. You don't be silent in the face of evil.

  137. That's what happened in Germany.

  138. Good people were silent in the face of Hitler.

  139. Are you with me now?

  140. No, we're not silent anymore, not in this church.

  141. No, we're talking out loud into the camera, don't care who hears Amen.

  142. So we defined authority and I think it's worth looking at it again because we need to get each of those meanings in the Greek into our spirits to realize what we have in the church in the name of Jesus.

  143. We don't speak in our name.

  144. We're not doing it according to our flesh, it's according to the Word, it's according to the Holy Ghost, it's according to what's been given to us and expected of us and, frankly, it's not optional.

  145. You know, if I have a fear at all, I fear that God could.

  146. I don't think he will, but he could just put everything on pause and wait for another generation If this generation doesn't do its job.

  147. But I don't see much hope in the next generation because they've been brainwashed, a lot of them, not all of them.

  148. Some of you are right here today, so you're hearing better, but a lot of younger generation have been brainwashed from this age and under into the world system.

  149. So the meaning of the word authority is privilege, force that's a good word.

  150. Force, capacity, competency, that'll preach.

  151. Come on, the Holy Ghost is the most, he's the smartest being.

  152. He lives on the inside of every Christian, he lives on the inside of the church, collectively and individually, and we're competent to do some things.

  153. Strength, mastery, ooh, mastery, influence I like that delegated influence.

  154. See, we can't, we don't have authority over human wills, but we do have authority to release divine influence.

  155. Angels can come up aside the dumbest person, person that just drank all the Kool-Aid, a couple of gallons of it and persuade them, when we can.

  156. Jurisdiction oh, that's another good one.

  157. We have jurisdiction to rule and reign as kings in this life.

  158. The power of choice to do is one pleases, even to do wrong.

  159. We ought to have the choice to do wrong.

  160. Do we need laws?

  161. Yeah, we need laws, but just look, you can't legislate every little thing.

  162. We've tried to do that in this country.

  163. People want freedom.

  164. Now, all of a sudden, people don't want freedom.

  165. People have been, it's been educated out of folks, and so now they want safety and they're willing to give away all their freedom and they'll be compliant to medical experts.

  166. We never know who they are.

  167. They usually have a lab coat on.

  168. Here's a medical expert.

  169. You're gonna have to prove it to me, buddy.

  170. One thing I do have is a bachelor's science degree in mechanical engineering.

  171. I'm educated in scientific method and what you're saying is not scientific.

  172. It's not even good.

  173. It doesn't even have common sense, much less anything else.

  174. All right, the power of rule or the power of government.

  175. You know, somebody's got a rule.

  176. Who's going to be the anti-Christ?

  177. Is it going to be these brain dead Democrats?

  178. I think they're really smarter than we give them credit for, because I think what they're doing is on purpose.

  179. I think they're aiming to destroy this country and let it all be a one world.

  180. Communist rule across the board, and they see themselves as the proletariat.

  181. They see themselves as the top of the heap.

  182. They don't know they'll be the first to get a bullet through the brain when the anti-Christ takes over.

  183. There won't be much of a ruling class with him.

  184. He'll be all by himself.

  185. They're buying a pig in the poke, as they used to say in South Texas.

  186. All right, so today I wanted to hone in on one of these words.

  187. Mastery Authority means mastery, genesis 1.26, we read it.

  188. Let me quote the living Bible.

  189. In part of the verse it says let us make a man just like ourselves and let us make them masters of all of life.

  190. Isn't that good?

  191. Well, the living Bible, that's not.

  192. Well, you know, I like, I like they got a whole drop, I believe, of the meaning of it.

  193. I know it's not a translation, I know it's, you know, got some errors in it and so forth and so on, but I liked that translation.

  194. The ma, he make them masters of all of life.

  195. That's what Adam was.

  196. Adam was a master of all of life and then he gave it to Satan.

  197. But Jesus took it back and gave it to the church.

  198. And what is the context of our authority?

  199. Go, ye.

  200. We have authority to go.

  201. We have authority to tell.

  202. We have authority to preach Anybody that tells us we can't that authority.

  203. We know we can use our authority against that.

  204. People try to legislate against preaching and teaching, legislate against gathering in a crowd.

  205. I watched the Aggie game last night.

  206. A hundred thousand people.

  207. They were not socially distant, one mask in the entire crowd and they were decked out in red, white and blue.

  208. The top deck was red T-shirts.

  209. The second section was white, the bottom section was blue.

  210. I see, I didn't understand it.

  211. First they honed in on blue.

  212. I said blue, that's not maroon.

  213. What's blue doing in in Kyle Field?

  214. I'm an Aggie, in case you didn't know.

  215. And what?

  216. And so I read the T-shirt.

  217. See, they're celebrating 20 years since 9-11.

  218. Standing with America was on the T-shirt.

  219. 20 years, that God.

  220. There's a whole big school that hadn't forgotten 9-11.

  221. So everybody say mastery.

  222. So in John 15-7, jesus was the one that was speaking.

  223. He said if my word, if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.

  224. We could say that's prayer.

  225. But the word ask can be prayer, but when you delve into the Greek, it also means to make a demand.

  226. And so in that context, we're not making a demand on God, we're making a demand on our covenant.

  227. We're making a demand on the devil and demon powers to release the captives.

  228. We're making a demand, you see.

  229. So ask doesn't mean beg.

  230. See, this is the church today.

  231. We have all these begging prayers.

  232. We're begging God to heal our land, based on the second Corinthians.

  233. 7-14 was for the Jews.

  234. They had departed, they entered into idolatry.

  235. They'd been scattered, they'd been taken to Babylon, and that was the prayer they prayed Healed their land and let them go back into the land.

  236. But we have a better covenant Hebrews 8-6,.

  237. We have a better covenant found upon better promises.

  238. They didn't have the authority that we do, and yet the men and women of the Bible did great and mighty exploits based on their knowledge of the covenant they had.

  239. We ought to be doing greater than they did.

  240. Let's just start off with one example.

  241. How about in Genesis 18?

  242. And God said shall we hide?

  243. Shall I hide from Abraham the thing that I do, seeing that he is a great, he will be the head of a great nation and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in him.

  244. Shall I hide from Abraham the thing that I do?

  245. What was God talking about?

  246. Sodom and Gomorrah?

  247. And so, if you keep reading, he went down to investigate to see if it was as bad as he had heard.

  248. And it was.

  249. And things had come up into heaven and filled a cup of judgment, and so he shared with Abraham.

  250. He said I'm going to destroy.

  251. And Gomorrah.

  252. He said oh Lord, see, he knew what Abraham did.

  253. He was not surprised, he was not insulted.

  254. Abraham is his representative on the earth.

  255. Abraham has authority on the earth.

  256. God is going to have to consult with this man According to his covenant.

  257. Shall I hide from Abraham what I'm going to do.

  258. I'm going to run it by him and oh no, god, you're not going to destroy the righteous with a wicked.

  259. Shall not the God of the earth.

  260. Do right, oh man, talk to God like that.

  261. Abraham was a friend of God.

  262. Friend doesn't mean buddy and pal.

  263. It means a covenant partner.

  264. We have a covenant through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

  265. We have a better covenant than Abraham did.

  266. We ought to be saying some things.

  267. We ought to be decreeing some things.

  268. We ought to be believing.

  269. Some Are y'all with me now this morning.

  270. Talk about our God believers authority.

  271. You're not going to be here for the church.

  272. You get a hold of this.

  273. Many of you have heard this for many years.

  274. Some of you are hearing it for the first time.

  275. Some of you need to hear it and hear it, and hear it, because faith comes by hearing and hearing, not by having heard.

  276. We need to be refreshed in the idea of our authority and exercise it.

  277. When we don't exercise authority, they're created a power vacuum, whatever will take what you give him.

  278. And so he said no, god, you wouldn't destroy the righteous with a wick.

  279. What if we can find 50 righteous, laura?

  280. You wouldn't destroy.

  281. If we found 50 righteous, no, for 50, I won't.

  282. Well, what about 40?

  283. If you do it for 50, you do it.

  284. For 40?

  285. No, I won't do it.

  286. If you find 40, I won't.

  287. What about?

  288. Okay, don't get mad at me.

  289. What about 30?

  290. No, I won't destroy it.

  291. What about 20?

  292. No.

  293. What about 10?

  294. No, 10.

  295. And he stopped at 10.

  296. He stopped at 10.

  297. Now you know, you could say he ran out of faith.

  298. I don't know.

  299. He had the Holy Ghost upon him, because he's a prophet.

  300. Moses, I mean Abraham was a great prophet.

  301. He didn't have the Holy Ghost in him, but God had to exercise judgment against that city and Abraham was advocating for it because his nephew, lot, and his family were there.

  302. Bible says that righteous Lot, righteous Lot.

  303. I mean it's kind of hard to see any righteous actions that he took, but the Bible calls him righteous.

  304. So I'm not going to argue with the Bible, I'm not going to argue with the Bible.

  305. And so they sent angels to get Lot and his family out and you know the story.

  306. Lot's wife looked back.

  307. We don't even know her name, by the way, she's nameless.

  308. That's how valuable people are who turned back on God, who have no respect for the covenant, who wasn't?

  309. Who wasn't just absolutely brimming over with praise that she was being spared.

  310. Instead, she was regretting and she turned into a pillar of salt.

  311. How did that happen?

  312. Well, I don't know.

  313. God's pretty clever at certain things.

  314. If I knew that I'd turn some of you.

  315. No, I wouldn't do that.

  316. Scrub that out of the.

  317. I was just joking.

  318. So he, you know.

  319. So he used that powerful dominion, that powerful authority.

  320. I mean Joshua parted the Jordan at flood stage.

  321. He stopped the sun for an entire day so he could conquer the enemy more of the Amalekites.

  322. He was slaughtering them and he run out of daylight.

  323. So he said, son, stand still and moon in the Valley of Agilon.

  324. Glory to God.

  325. And it did.

  326. Oh, I haven't seen anybody do that lately.

  327. Have you, elijah called fire down from heaven and burned up the sacrifice?

  328. He didn't even have to light a fire, burned up the sacrifice on the altar.

  329. Whoa, come on, let's lift our hands, thank God.

  330. There's things that God wants the church to start doing as a sign so that none of these people, so that they may know that God is the Lord.

  331. There's none else.

  332. He's uncomfortable, he's, he's unmatchable.

  333. Not everybody's going to believe, not everybody's going to change.

  334. I don't.

  335. I'm not saying we're going to change this world because this written in the Bible, anti Christ, is going to take over at some point.

  336. What we're seeing is the run up to it.

  337. He hasn't revealed himself yet.

  338. He will be revealed.

  339. He hasn't revealed himself yet.

  340. Why?

  341. Because the church is here and we're restraining him.

  342. Are y'all getting anything out of this today?

  343. David's mighty men were always safe in battle as long as they walked under the covenant, I mean.

  344. They just never were defeated.

  345. They yeah, they were mean motor scooters.

  346. Yeah, I mean they could hurl the stone with either hand.

  347. They could shoot a bow with either hand.

  348. Yeah, they were really mighty men of God.

  349. But that wasn't why they.

  350. They were protected was because of the covenant, and we've got a better covenant found upon better promises.

  351. We ought to be doing more than they did, amen.

  352. So John 15, seven gives it, gives us some keys, as if we abide in him and legally we do and we're born again.

  353. We'll teach this in Faith Foundation's class, one of the three baptisms when you're born again, the Holy Spirit baptizes you into the body of Christ.

  354. So you're in Christ the moment you're saved.

  355. But do you live like it?

  356. See, there's the legal side, and then there is the vital side, or in vitiate, according to life.

  357. I call it the functional side.

  358. Are you living in Christ?

  359. Are you living in yourself, doing everything according to your own flesh, doing everything according to your own thinking?

  360. See, this is a requirement.

  361. If you want this kind of ability to make a demand on the covenant, you've got to abide in him.

  362. And number two condition, and my words abide in you and God's word abides in us to the degree that we're controlled by them.

  363. I mean, you know, if you've just got a trip hammer anger problem and you never deal with your anger, well, that's just how I am.

  364. Well, no, then you can't really claim this verse because you've allowed yourself, you've given yourself permission to have an ant.

  365. You know to lose your temper at the drop of a hat.

  366. Then you say things you're sorry for later.

  367. When are you gonna change?

  368. When are you gonna stop that?

  369. It's not gonna stop by itself, it's gonna get worse.

  370. So prayer is fellowship with God.

  371. We've talked about this.

  372. We talked about the whole armor of God last week and that is the prayer armor.

  373. So the key to these two conditions in John 15, seven is prayer is having fellowship with God.

  374. Almighty, you have fellowship with God.

  375. How can you do that?

  376. You know it's not just by reading your Bible and praying and I like to pray with my Bible open, you know, listen, it's kind of all just seamless.

  377. I spend time with God.

  378. We spend time doing everything under the sun.

  379. We all have hobbies and something wrong with having a hobby.

  380. But you know what you might have to cut some things off in order to spend enough time with God to qualify on that word, ask or make a demand.

  381. If there are some things going on in your house or in your body or in your family line or on your job or in your career and they're stubborn, you know what you might have to lay some things aside for a while, do a little fasting and seek the Lord and spend some time with Him and praise Him and fellowship with Him around the Word of God and get a strategy.

  382. David consulted the ephod, which is a form of prayer.

  383. This is a type and shadow of prayer.

  384. That was their form of the Holy Ghost.

  385. They didn't have a Holy Ghost living on the inside.

  386. But when the Malachites came through and took everything, took the wives and children and all the stuff, and everybody wept until they couldn't weep any further.

  387. He began to pray get me the ephod, god, shall I pursue, shall I recover?

  388. God said pursue, overtake and recover.

  389. He didn't go after Him until he knew it was God, until he knew God's plan.

  390. Are you with me now?

  391. Yes, so when you're spending that kind of time in prayer, what do you want to happen?

  392. What do you want?

  393. See, because you're gonna know what you want.

  394. Sometimes we don't.

  395. We think we do, but we really don't know what we want.

  396. But when you spend time with God, you shall ask what you will, you will make a demand, what you want, and it shall be done.

  397. Is that what it says in John 15, 7?

  398. Really Well, I'll prove it.

  399. Let's look at John 50.

  400. You think I'm making it up, but I'm not.

  401. I've looked at this so much, it just comes out of me.

  402. I don't even have to look at my Bible.

  403. Why?

  404. Because the Word's abiding in me.

  405. John 15, if you abide in me, this is in red.

  406. Jesus said it?

  407. I didn't.

  408. Brother Hagin didn't say it, he preached it.

  409. If you abide in me and my Word's abiding you, you shall ask what you will.

  410. The word ask also means make a demand, and it shall be done unto you.

  411. Herein is my Father, glorified that you bear much fruit, so should you be my disciples, you're my disciples.

  412. Isn't that what Jesus said?

  413. To go make everybody a disciple.

  414. Well, if we're not doing this ourselves, how can we teach others to do it?

  415. You know, honestly, if the church had done their job and kept doing their job all the way through in this great and glorious country that God's, this country was born of God and the church just quit doing this job making disciples, it never really had a revelation of authority, it never did really rule.

  416. I mean, they got around the edges of it and then, sometime in the 40s and 50s, we started letting politicians rule in rain over us, like Roosevelt.

  417. We gave him all this credit and he was a socialist.

  418. He arrested all the Japanese people and put them in jail, essentially stole all their wealth.

  419. Nobody went to bat for them.

  420. I keep hearing about reparations, reparations.

  421. Well, how about the Japanese?

  422. I mean, they lived in, they were, they were citizens of this country and we just suspended their rights.

  423. See, that's what Democrats always wanna do.

  424. They will take your rights yesterday because there's some kind of an emergency.

  425. There's always an emergency with Democrats, and they never let an emergency go to waste, never.

  426. They wanna take our guns and give them to the Taliban.

  427. Isn't that amazing?

  428. I mean, they gave.

  429. They're a lot worse than that.

  430. They didn't give any 38 specials.

  431. They didn't give any nine millimeter off.

  432. No, they gave the highest kinds of weaponry to the Taliban.

  433. Here's billions of dollars worth of.

  434. But then they wanna come and take our weapons out of our house.

  435. That's what Democrats do.

  436. They've been doing it for a long time.

  437. And the church is just.

  438. Well, I don't get involved in politics, that's the devil's work.

  439. Yeah, it's because the church got out of it.

  440. It's the devil's work.

  441. It wasn't always that way.

  442. When the church got involved, it was God's work.

  443. It was what God expected.

  444. He expected people to rule and to reign man.

  445. Glory to God.

  446. Take that.

  447. He said Democrats.

  448. Well, I meant it, I didn't.

  449. I wasn't confused.

  450. You know, god has a side.

  451. He's not on the side of the Democrats and I've got plenty of bones to pick with Republicans.

  452. There's some rhinos and there's some losers in there, no question about it, but as a party platform which came from us, it came from the grassroots.

  453. The party platform always remember, it did not come from corporate America, it did not come from the top, it came from the bottom and it is the best platform I've ever seen.

  454. And based on that platform, we need to hold those guys accountable and gals accountable for what we say.

  455. Oh, they hate the grassroots.

  456. They would love to get rid of the grassroots so they can reach across the aisle and they can have play nice with the communists, because you know, we're gonna part all the wealth anyway.

  457. They're doing it now.

  458. A lot of them are getting paid off by multinational corporations.

  459. Their campaign treasures are filled and they live like kings.

  460. You know, let's not be Pollyanna.

  461. Let's grow up and realize what's going on and not let it go on any longer.

  462. We can stop it.

  463. So what do you want to happen?

  464. See, I know what I want to happen In every area.

  465. When something rises up, then I know how to rule and reign against it.

  466. Uh-uh, uh-uh.

  467. No devil, you're not doing that.

  468. You know God's not a tyrant dictating every detail.

  469. He's waiting for you to decide what you want?

  470. Really we're, we've been brought in to the family business and we're sitting at the conference table of God and sons unlimited.

  471. He's not dictating every single thing.

  472. Brother Hagin was praying for one of his relatives.

  473. You know they'd call.

  474. You know they were all they.

  475. They.

  476. They either weren't saved or they were going to churches that were not full gospel.

  477. And whenever one of them get in trouble, they knew Brother Hagin believed in healing.

  478. They, they knew Brother Hagin had a lot of miracles and so they'd call, call him and he'd go to God.

  479. And and God said to him one time he said well, what do you want me to do about it?

  480. He said what, what do you want done about it?

  481. Just tell me what it is that you want, cause I'll do whatever you say.

  482. God said that to Brother Hagin I'll do whatever you say.

  483. Why was that?

  484. Because Brother Hagin had abided in the Word.

  485. He's not going to ask something that's not according to the Word.

  486. He's not going to ask something that's not scriptural.

  487. He's not going to ask for something that's crazy.

  488. Are you with me now?

  489. So your fellowship with him?

  490. You have a covenant through Jesus.

  491. What do you will?

  492. What do you want to happen?

  493. Do you have your master's degree.

  494. I think we need more master's degree in the church.

  495. And I'm not talking about higher education, I'm talking about the master's degree that comes from this Word and from the Holy Ghost that lives on the inside, being filled and filled again with the Holy Ghost.

  496. I tell you, when you're a tongue talking, a spirit filled Christian, you don't care who knows it and you don't care who likes it and you don't care who it identifies you with or separates you from.

  497. When you get in that position, you're almost there to the master's degree.

  498. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

  499. Years ago I told this testimony many times and I'll probably tell it many more, but I got ahold of these things.

  500. Brother Osteen was teaching on the authority of the believer and I was just amazed at what was in the Bible.

  501. Because I was raised Catholic, I didn't know that.

  502. I didn't read the Bible.

  503. We were taught the priests were the only ones who could read the Bible.

  504. We had little missiles.

  505. Don't look so innocent.

  506. I know some of your Catholic.

  507. I went to Catholic school through eighth grade I was president, the Knights of the Altar.

  508. I was the nun's favorite.

  509. They thought I was gonna go to seminary, the whole thing.

  510. But I was not saved.

  511. But then I started sitting under Brother Osteen's ministry and I heard about my aunt Eunice, my uncle Eddie's wife.

  512. Eddie was my dad's brother and my dad was already dead.

  513. Dad died at age 66 of cancer, before I got saved.

  514. So I didn't know how to take authority, I didn't know how to help him live, and it was.

  515. It was hard to go through.

  516. And then after that, a few years after that, I got saved and so I heard about my aunt Eunice and she's in the hospital, double pneumonia.

  517. So we went to church on Sunday and after church my sister, brother-in-law Gladys and I we went by the hospital and my uncle was out in the hallway.

  518. She was an ICU.

  519. I said, uncle, I came, I heard about Aunt Eunice and I really would like to go in and pray for her.

  520. I want to lay my hands on her, because we believe in laying on of hands and I want Aunt Eunice to recover.

  521. And he kind of looked at me, kind of you know, funny and and and so he's well, I'll go ask her.

  522. And he came back as if he did she doesn't want to see anybody.

  523. She doesn't want anybody see her like this.

  524. And so, okay, I figure she hadn't had fixed her hair or put on her makeup or anything else you know, but what it was?

  525. That she was jaundice and she turned yellow.

  526. I didn't know that till the next day, but anyway.

  527. So so I said, okay, well, we can pray it, we'll pray from home.

  528. Well, I heard the next morning that she had gotten much worse, was in a coma and was an ICU and that or hooked up to breathe, the machine, everything else, and that he had a multiple organ failure and dialysis was filtering out the medicine they were giving her for the pneumonia, and so she's not going to make it.

  529. So I began to remember about Abraham.

  530. I began to remember about testimonies brother Hagan used to have about pleading the case.

  531. Isaiah 43 talks about plead, plead, let's.

  532. Let's plead together.

  533. So I pleaded her case.

  534. I said, god, I can't live and you just die.

  535. I don't know if she's say I've never heard about her and Eddie ever going to church, I don't know a thing about their spiritual life, and if she goes off into eternity, I'm never going to know whether she was saved or not.

  536. And I am not willing.

  537. See, I was able to say I'm not willing.

  538. The I knew what I didn't want.

  539. I knew what I wanted see, let's find out what the Bible says we can have.

  540. Let's find out what the Bible.

  541. I didn't have to beg, oh God, let her die.

  542. It's just a vain prayer.

  543. It has nothing to do with God that that prayer is dead already, because God has already done.

  544. As this might come to as a surprise to the audience and to you.

  545. God has already done everything he's going to do about healing anybody.

  546. There's nothing left for him to do, because he did it at Calvary.

  547. So what's left is for the church to take authority and demand.

  548. Make a demand on death, make a demand on sickness and disease, make a demand on multiple organ failure.

  549. Make a demand what do you want to happen?

  550. I told God what I wanted.

  551. I said, look, I can't let her, I won't let her die because I don't know where she's going.

  552. She's old lady, she's in her 70, late 70s.

  553. You lived a good life, but that was the thing.

  554. I couldn't let her go.

  555. So I call my uncle on the phone, got him you know nurses station, got him and I said uncle, she's in a coma, she's not going to know.

  556. I'm there, I have to come, please let me come.

  557. And he hemmed and hauled and finally said okay, not exactly, you know, cooperative.

  558. And so I went and I had to plead her case and so we went into the room.

  559. I see you and her daughter, betty Lou, was with me oldest daughter, and I think she's a whisk, a paleon or something like that.

  560. I piss copped and I walked in there.

  561. She's got tubes everywhere.

  562. She's yellow.

  563. From this I mean it's breathtaking.

  564. I mean my mind saw her saying what am I doing here?

  565. I felt you know if I went by how I felt I would have looked for somebody to pray for me.

  566. Talk about intimidate her family's out in the hallway making plans for her funeral.

  567. They're talking about, well, you know, next Tuesday, daughter, next month, but they're planning a funeral.

  568. I'm walking through unbelief that you could cut with a knife, and so I've been over the bed.

  569. I said Aunt Eunice is John Walter.

  570. See, I was always to that part of the family.

  571. I was always John Walter.

  572. They always use both names.

  573. My dad's side of the family both name John Walter.

  574. I hated that, but anyway, that's what I told her I was, so she'd know it was me.

  575. I said this is John Walter.

  576. I'm going to lay hands on you in Jesus name and his healing power is going to heal you.

  577. And Betty Lou says you think she heard you.

  578. I said her spirit heard me.

  579. I didn't know that I thought came out of my mouth.

  580. I said oh see, that's Goyi, is that Goyi?

  581. And so I look for a place to lay hands on her, and I could find one.

  582. I meet you at tubes, everywhere.

  583. And it was kind of awkward to lay my hands on her thigh, but I did.

  584. Her leg was right there under the cover and so I put both my hands and when I did I started praying in other tongues first, and Betty Lou's eyes got as big as saucers.

  585. I try not to be loud, but you know I kind of got loud and and then when I touched her on her leg she went like that, like I shocked her with the paddles.

  586. It shocked me.

  587. I thought I was gonna faint and Betty Lou almost dove out of the window.

  588. She was frightened.

  589. What was that?

  590. I said that's God's healing power.

  591. Come on, let's lift that.

  592. Well, pass us, because you're a pastor.

  593. I was not a pastor, I'm just a believer.

  594. Fairly new at this, to be honest with you, didn't know a whole lot, never been in that position before.

  595. Are you with me now, and so I couldn't tell anything different about her.

  596. So I packed up my Bible and left.

  597. You know, had my big old Bible in the morning.

  598. I don't know what I was gonna do with that, but anyway, maybe hit somebody.

  599. And so the next morning, Tuesday morning, I get a call from Uncle Eddie.

  600. This time he's calling me and he said John, I need you get back down here, pray for my wife again.

  601. The doctor said she's holding Ron, keep doing whatever we're doing.

  602. I want you to pray again.

  603. I thought how can I pray again?

  604. I've already pray.

  605. See, I knew enough not to pray again.

  606. I've already prayed in faith.

  607. Really, I didn't even pray.

  608. I laid hands in Jesus name and just like that the Holy Ghost said an owner with oil in my name.

  609. I'm an elder of the church now I call it for the elders of the church.

  610. I'm elder in the sense that I know more about the Bible than they do and so I got my bottle of oil.

  611. I went down there and then ordered her with oil in the name of Jesus and thank God for her healing and left.

  612. In 10 days later they wheeled her out of the hospital and she lived another eight years, lived another, as she died and she was 82 years old.

  613. Come on, let's lift our hands for it.

  614. Well, I seldom tell this part of the testimony, but I need to today, because your miracles that happen, or a testimony to people that you don't even know.

  615. So six years later, I was sent by Lakewood Church to pray for a couple of people that were members, and they were in a rehab hospital in Umbil, and one was a young man, one was an older person.

  616. So I came to the nurses station and I presented my and I'm not even ordained at this point.

  617. They just sent me.

  618. I don't know how they I wound up with a duty.

  619. I was a prayer partner, I guess.

  620. So anyway, I told him who I was.

  621. My name is John Griner.

  622. I'm from Lakewood Church.

  623. I'm here to see this person and that person.

  624. I want to pray for them.

  625. They requested prayer and the nurse looked at me and she said Griner.

  626. I said that's right, john Griner.

  627. She said are you any Ken, the Eunice Griner?

  628. I said well, as a matter of fact, that's my aunt.

  629. She said so you're did you?

  630. Were you the one that prayed for her when she was in the hospital A number of years ago?

  631. I said well, yeah, a lot of people were praying for her.

  632. But yeah, I came and laid hands on her one day and I'd order her with all the next day.

  633. She said we always called her our miracle woman we had.

  634. I have never seen a miracle like that before in my life.

  635. I'm so thankful that you came and did that because it opened my eye.

  636. You know just started blabber, blabber, blabber.

  637. Come on, let's lift our hand.

  638. Thank God for for a testimony.

  639. Oh, wow, boy, did I praise God?

  640. Did I praise God?

  641. What an opportunity to witness, to have a witness all across that Memorial Herman hospital, down in the medical center.

  642. Glory to God.

  643. Thank God for miracles.

  644. Okay, believer's authority, let's get into three things.

  645. Getting your master's degree how many of you want your master's degree?

  646. Listen, the church has got to get on with this.

  647. There are people out there suffering, they're, they're, they're sighing and crying, they're afraid.

  648. And it's all by design, it's all on purpose, it's evil, what's happening right now.

  649. Let's overcome evil with good, all right.

  650. So, getting your master's degree.

  651. Number one meet the conditions in John 15, 7.

  652. If my word, if you abided me in my words, abiding, you see, it's not about doing it when you have a problem.

  653. Oh, I'm under attack.

  654. I'm going to fast and pray.

  655. No, you ought to be praying and reading your Bible every day.

  656. In consistency lies the power.

  657. It's not what you do under pressure.

  658. It's what you do every day.

  659. It's your standard.

  660. It's your go to position.

  661. Your go to position is you're in covenant with Almighty God.

  662. Your go to position is you're you're communing with him.

  663. It's not about hearing voices.

  664. It's not about having these visions or anything.

  665. It's about getting into the word of God, praying and letting God just put his, his thoughts and everything Right.

  666. I always say this, just just about every day, when I read my Bible.

  667. I'm about to read the word of God and this is just as if the Lord, jesus Christ, was talking to me personally.

  668. That's how I look at this, because that's exactly what it is Thought about.

  669. Looking, I don't have to hear voices to know what God wants me to do when I read the Bible and then when I do all that and I do pray, then God can talk to me about things or give me impressions or give me the witness about things that are not written.

  670. It wasn't written about how to handle that second prayer.

  671. I knew I didn't want to go and pray for her a second time.

  672. That would undo the prayer of the first time.

  673. And the Holy ghost knew that.

  674. He knew what I was thinking.

  675. I know when we're with all, and that was my answer.

  676. Are you women?

  677. Yeah, all right.

  678. So you have God's ear, the same as Jesus had God's ear.

  679. God's listening for you, he's got time to hear you.

  680. He wants to hear from you and he wants to.

  681. It's a dialogue, prayers.

  682. A dialogue.

  683. That's your whole reason to have an armor.

  684. That's the whole reason why you're abiding at the right hand of the father in Christ.

  685. It's not.

  686. It's not 2,500 light years between heaven, and you know you're right there in the throne room, all right.

  687. The second thing is ask, make a demand.

  688. Let God know what you want done.

  689. Let God know how it needs to be.

  690. I let God know I'm not letting her die.

  691. I'm not letting.

  692. I knew God wasn't going to kill her.

  693. I know that you think God's the author of death.

  694. You've got a long way to go for your master's degree.

  695. You're going to have to go back to kindergarten.

  696. God is not in the death business, he's in the life business.

  697. God doesn't take well, he was just lonesome, for you know a little child and he, he wanted a flower for his garden.

  698. He just picked a little flower.

  699. No, he didn't.

  700. No, he received them, but he didn't.

  701. He's not the author of the death.

  702. The devil is the author of death.

  703. But you know, make a demand on the covenant, on the devil, on your flesh, on someone else's flesh that's sick.

  704. Make a demand on the disease.

  705. Talk to disease like it's a person.

  706. Jesus rebuked the fever and it left, just like the fever in Peter's mother-in-law it was just.

  707. Or Peter's mother, it was just.

  708. Like it was a person.

  709. He rebuked it.

  710. Instead of begging God to do something, he's already done it.

  711. Are y'all with me now?

  712. Plead your case.

  713. I'm not going to be a judge.

  714. Plead your case, say.

  715. That's another thing.

  716. Sometimes you have to plead your case to get the right.

  717. You know, when you're praying for things that you're not quite sure about, then you need to be sure before you can release that part.

  718. If it's a kinfolk, you can plead your case.

  719. If it's in your circle, if it's in your jurisdiction, you can't hardly do that for somebody you know.

  720. Let's pray for my cousin's next door neighbor in Minnesota.

  721. Well, you don't really have any jurisdiction over that person, and so really, that's kind of silly to get involved in.

  722. Most of the time, when people ask you to pray, they're the ones that should have prayed.

  723. Would you please pray?

  724. Well, yeah, but you should have you prayed Well, no.

  725. Well, why are you asking me to pray?

  726. You ought to be doing the praying.

  727. I didn't ask brother hosting to pray for my aunt Eunice Now did it in her mind, did not even in her mind.

  728. Better, call Dodie, let me come.

  729. No, I never called them.

  730. As far as I know, they never knew about it.

  731. As far as I know, they never heard about it.
