  1. Reach down and pick up our bibles.

  2. Please, let's lift them up and wave them around.

  3. Thank you, worship team.

  4. That's so beautiful.

  5. I tell you, we had a little surge of power, I think it was.

  6. Just we had such an anointing to start with, it knocked the power out.

  7. Somebody better check the wires outside.

  8. They might be a little overtaxed, I don't know.

  9. We just kept worshiping.

  10. You know, that's what Holy Ghost people do, no matter what happens, just keep singing.

  11. That's what I told them, that's what I told the team many years ago no matter what happens, keep singing.

  12. And that's what they did, and you did.

  13. I tell you what praise God.

  14. Poor devil, poor devil.

  15. He didn't have a chance.

  16. Let's wave those bibles around.

  17. Make Jesus glad, father.

  18. We thank you today.

  19. Say it after me, father.

  20. We thank you today for another opportunity to be in your presence.

  21. We're not just sitting on the sidelines observing, but we're in the game.

  22. We're participators in kingdom business.

  23. God and Son's unlimited.

  24. That's where I am and I intend to receive all that you have for me today.

  25. In Jesus' name, amen, turn to your neighbor and say I'm so glad you're here today.

  26. Glory to God.

  27. Let's turn in our bibles to Matthew, chapter 14.

    Matthew 14 chapter mention

  28. Glory to God, matthew 14, and of course you know this is I'm going to pick it up in verse 22.

  29. This is right after the miracle of loaves and fishes, and so it says here in 22,.

  30. And straightway, jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship and to go before him under the other side while he sent the multitudes away.

  31. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray.

  32. That's what he'd been wanting to do all day, except the people followed him.

  33. If you keep reading the whole chapter, you realize that he had to delay what he really wanted to do.

  34. But he went up to that mountain to spend time with his heavenly father in prayer.

  35. And when the evening was come he was there alone.

  36. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves, for the wind was contrary.

  37. And in the fourth watch of the night, that's between three and six am, the fourth watch of the night, that's the last watch before sunup, it's always darkest right before and on is darkest before the sun comes up.

  38. In the fourth watch of the night, jesus went unto them walking on the sea.

  39. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were troubled, saying it's a spirit, and they cried out for fear.

  40. But straightway Jesus spake unto them saying be of good cheer, be of good courage.

  41. It is, I be not afraid.

  42. And Peter answered him and said Lord, if it be, thou bid me to come unto thee on the water.

  43. And he said come.

  44. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

  45. Everybody say Peter walked on the water.

  46. Sometimes we forget that part of the story.

  47. Everybody say it again.

  48. Peter walked on the water and but when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me.

  49. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him.

  50. See how close he was.

  51. He was already out there to him, he'd already walked all the way out there.

  52. And then he fainted.

  53. Sometimes we faint right at the moment when we've made the connection.

  54. Anyway, that's for another time.

  55. Beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me.

  56. Immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

  57. And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

  58. Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him, saying of a truth thou art the son of God.

  59. So you know, this is the closest thing to a Thanksgiving message, and our preach is the title of the message is defrost your faith.

  60. What about your faith?

  61. Is your faith defrosted?

  62. Is it hot and ready to be used?

  63. Is it ready to seize the opportunity that comes up before you?

  64. Or is it cold and immovable, kind of like the young bride who's fixing her first Thanksgiving dinner for the in-laws.

  65. They're going to come over and she's pretty nervous and she gets the frozen turkey out of the freezer and you know she doesn't defrost it, she just throws the whole thing, unwraps it and throws the whole thing in the oven, turns the oven on.

  66. Everything was doing pretty well for a couple hours and she started smelling something and it was the plastic bag melting and burning up that contained the gizzards.

  67. Do you pull the gizzards out of your turkey for you?

  68. Of course, nowadays, just because of that little lady, they started wrapping it in paper instead of plastic.

  69. No, she needed to defrost her turkey first and get it prepared, right?

  70. I mean, you got to get it ready.

  71. You got to get it ready, and so we need to have our faith hot and ready to use.

  72. Come on, lift your hands.

  73. My faith is hot and ready to be used.

  74. Glory to God.

  75. I'm ready to leap out of the boat at any moment.

  76. One of my favorite.

  77. I don't know how many times I've preached out of these messages.

  78. There's so many messages you can preach out of these verses.

  79. They're so powerful.

  80. But I just want to get on the fact that the church has got to get hot and get ready.

  81. This is the greatest opportunity, probably that we've ever had in history.

  82. Right now, and instead of complaining and wondering, oh my goodness, they passed the infrastructure bill.

  83. Five points something, trillion dollars and a half.

  84. This is the worst thing they've ever done in history.

  85. But you know what?

  86. It's an opportunity for the church to rise up.

  87. It's an opportunity we got to stay hot and ready.

  88. And I discouraged.

  89. I mean, you know, if you just meditate on all the stuff, I need to know about it, I read the headlines.

  90. That's about as far as I can go, and I can't even read all the headlines.

  91. But then I start just praising God, amen.

  92. Because I realized that my faith, anything that leavens me, anything that turns my knob down, I've got my knob on self clean.

  93. I mean praise God.

  94. So here in Matthew we have Jesus after the loaves and fishes miracle.

  95. It's a great miracle and Jesus has always teaching the disciples in Matthew 10, he gave them power and authority over all demons and, to cure diseases, send them out by two and two, first the 12 and then the 70.

  96. So it's not like they never were acquainted with miracles.

  97. In fact, when they came back to report in, they were so happy that, jesus, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name.

  98. You know they were thrilled to be able to witness the miracles that God was using them to operate in Healing deliverance.

  99. And yet, you know, here in the, you know they're out in a desert place and people followed because people wanted more miracles.

  100. They wanted to, they wanted to be around that the supernatural.

  101. But they were out in the desert place, jesus, they didn't know it, but Jesus was on his way to pray.

  102. He was not.

  103. He'd been ministering all day.

  104. It's time for him to go pray and replenish himself.

  105. And they come to Jesus.

  106. Jesus, send them away.

  107. We're in a desert place.

  108. Oh really, I mean like he didn't know where they were.

  109. It's getting dark.

  110. Oh yeah, we don't.

  111. You know, we can't feed them.

  112. Send them away.

  113. And Jesus gave them a word.

  114. What was the word?

  115. Give you them to eat.

  116. He gave them a word.

  117. Just as much as come was a word.

  118. I said just as much as come was a word.

  119. Just as much as I give you power and authority over all demons and the cure diseases, just as much as that was a word.

  120. This was another word Give you them to eat.

  121. And then they said oh well, we can't do that.

  122. There's not enough food to feed all these people, 5,000 men.

  123. So that means I always say 20,000 people.

  124. I mean, if a man is married, got some kids.

  125. I mean it's 20,000 people, easy.

  126. Oh, we don't.

  127. We don't have enough money.

  128. We would if we could even find a place, and there's no 7-Elevens out here.

  129. I mean, where are we going to buy food for the 20,000 people?

  130. We can't do it, jesus.

  131. All we've got is a little boy's lunch.

  132. What is that?

  133. All right, I can just see Jesus Bring the lunch to me.

  134. I could just preach on that part.

  135. In fact, I have preached on that part.

  136. I was in the Philippines one time preaching on how God would give you supernatural supply, and I mean I preached the first hour and I was thinking man, an hour of preaching, I better shut it down, because I remember Brother Osteen grabbed me by the lapels one time.

  137. He says, john, don't ever preach more than 30 minutes.

  138. Well, he didn't know it, but I was teaching in the Family Life Institute and I had a 55-minute message every week.

  139. I mean, I was already disobedient, but that wasn't my fault, that was how it was set up, but anyway.

  140. So I thought, man, you know, brother Osteen told me not to go this long.

  141. I better shut it down.

  142. And so I said okay, and they started hollering no, we want more.

  143. So I preached the second hour and I started shutting it down and they didn't want.

  144. They would not let me.

  145. They were so hungry for what I was saying about the gospel to the poor.

  146. Or Robert said that's the guts of the gospel.

  147. I could preach on the guts of the gospel today.

  148. I could preach on the gospel to the poor.

  149. Out of these messages, out of this testimony, right here I'm in the third hour and I demonstrated what the miracle was.

  150. Jesus didn't multiply anything.

  151. He just divided five loaves and two fishes into 12 pieces.

  152. That's the engineer in me.

  153. So let's just, for the sake of it, fish.

  154. You know, 24-inch long fish.

  155. They probably don't have them that big, but let's call it 24 inches long.

  156. So if he divided that into you know, equal parts for 12 disciples.

  157. That's, you know, each disciple is going to have, you know, four inches of fish, including the head More if you got the head or the tail in, you know that's kind of bad.

  158. And it was.

  159. The multiplication was when they started distributing each one of the pieces they had.

  160. Jesus didn't multiply anything.

  161. The disciples in their hands.

  162. What Jesus supplied them is what got multiplied.

  163. Why did he do that?

  164. To show them they had authority to do anything he told them to do.

  165. Are y'all with me now?

  166. So here they get in the boat and they forget it again.

  167. They're struggling, they're rowing and rowing and it's just that the storm is hitting them and they can't make any progress.

  168. And it's between three and six am and they hadn't gotten very far.

  169. And here comes Jesus be bopping on the water.

  170. Get the picture, Come on.

  171. I've got people thinking that God is through with the church.

  172. Listen, if he wasn't through with the 12, he's not through with the church.

  173. He's got a lot invested in us.

  174. We're his only hope.

  175. Why didn't he say it?

  176. I'm telling you the church is his only hope, because Jesus has already done everything he's ever gonna do about a harvest.

  177. It's up to us to reap it.

  178. That's all there is.

  179. There's no other place, there's no other entity, there's no other, but the body of Christ is gonna take the body of Christ to reap this harvest.

  180. Let's defrost our faith.

  181. Quit saying it's too hard, quit saying it's terrible.

  182. It's never been like that, that's right.

  183. It's never been like this biggest opportunity we've ever had.

  184. People are fed up.

  185. They're rebelling all over the world.

  186. They're marching in the streets.

  187. What are they against?

  188. They're against these shutdowns.

  189. They're against these vaccine mandates.

  190. They are rebelling.

  191. I mean, if I lived in Australia, I'd rebel.

  192. They're gonna lock them down again.

  193. Can you imagine Germany?

  194. They're going nuts.

  195. We think it's bad here.

  196. Let me tell you something it's 10 times worse everywhere else.

  197. Praise God.

  198. So Jesus said simply go to the other side.

  199. I mean, they had a word.

  200. Have you ever had a word from God?

  201. Well, you've got a whole bunch of them right here.

  202. You got a whole Bible filled with them.

  203. This is Jesus talking to you.

  204. This is the word of life.

  205. This is God talking to you.

  206. People say, well, I pray, but I just don't seem to hear.

  207. Well, read your Bible, because that's God talking to you right there.

  208. Quit listening, try to listen for a voice and just go ahead and let the Word take first place and start to listen like he's talking to you every day, and then you will hear specific instructions when you need to hear them.

  209. Sometimes it's not words, sometimes it's just a perception, sometimes it's just a witness.

  210. So he told them clearly go to the other side.

  211. And now they're struggling.

  212. They had a contrary win, and so I want you to see the boat.

  213. The boat is a status quo.

  214. Even in a storm, even in the contrary circumstances, the boat is familiar territory.

  215. It's you know, they're in the boat.

  216. It's kind of scary, it's kind of stormy, but they're.

  217. Most of them are fishermen and they're not that intimidated and they know if they stay in the boat, they don't understand how long it's going to take them to get to the other side.

  218. They're still trying to do it, but they're doing it in their own strength.

  219. They're not using their faith, they're not using their authority and they're just working in the natural.

  220. They're working in the flesh.

  221. There's no.

  222. I mean, you know your flesh is not going to accomplish the will of God.

  223. Your natural mind can't even conceive of the will of God.

  224. It's your spirit that has to get engaged.

  225. Defrost your faith, because faith is a spiritual thing.

  226. It's not of the flesh, it's not of the mind.

  227. And so the comfort zone I mean, how could that be a comfort zone?

  228. It's a comfort zone because it's identifiable, it's familiar, it's familiar territory.

  229. The boat was familiar territory.

  230. I mean, for some people, sickness is familiar territory.

  231. They're not really motivated to get out of the sickness.

  232. They know how to deal with the sickness, they know how to deal with those bad days and they know how to.

  233. You know, they know how to just exist.

  234. Poverty, for some people is familiar territory.

  235. They lack in poverty.

  236. They know how to.

  237. You know, they know how to kind of maneuver around that and keep on living and keep on going.

  238. But you know it's familiar territory.

  239. When are you going to get out of the boat and defrost your faith?

  240. Come on, amen.

  241. So you know you got 12 guys on there and only Peter.

  242. Only Peter asked for permission.

  243. The Lord, if it be that, bid me come unto thee on the water.

  244. And I mean Jesus just simply said come.

  245. I want you to notice something.

  246. He didn't say Peter, come.

  247. Are y'all with me now?

  248. He didn't just say Peter, come, he said come.

  249. So all 12 heard the same voice and only one, only one, went over the side.

  250. I mean, he went over the side and the Bible says he walked on the water.

  251. He didn't analyze, agonize or rationalize, he just see, that's the thing.

  252. That's the thing will hang you up because God can make his will known under you and it's always bigger than you think you can have to.

  253. It's always greater, it's always beyond our natural ability to accomplish.

  254. And that's what gets us frozen in the boat, like a frozen turkey.

  255. You had one live wire and you had 11 frozen turkeys.

  256. Are y'all with me?

  257. I mean, when he went over the side, boom, his feet hit that water.

  258. He should have sunk right there by the edge of the boat, but nope, nope, to his amazement, he's walking on the water.

  259. It wasn't until he got to looking and looking and looking at all the circumstances that he began to doubt.

  260. He got all the way out there, close enough for Jesus to catch him.

  261. Glory to God.

  262. You got to decide whether you're going to be hot and ready and available to seize the opportunity or just sit in the boat like a frozen turkey.

  263. I'm talking about your faith now.

  264. You can't operate on somebody else's faith, your faith.

  265. And then, when all of us together are fully defrosted, fully hot and ready, then the corporate church starts to kick in.

  266. Now, and suddenly we have this, a fancy word we hear a lot today synergistic.

  267. It's like you know, it's like the sum of the individual parts.

  268. You add that together, but yet the power that's available is greater than the sum of the individual parts.

  269. It's, something happens, multiplication happens, and great and mighty things are done by Jesus, head of the church, through His body.

  270. You see, jesus needs His body.

  271. We need Jesus, don't?

  272. We need Jesus?

  273. Well, he needs us, he needs us, god needs us.

  274. Are you with me?

  275. Now?

  276. That's news to some folk.

  277. I mean, I still get this religious statement, just a whole, and somebody just posted it the other day.

  278. If you're listening to me, I hope you heard this message, but they posted on there.

  279. Well, just remembering all things, god, and no matter what's going on, god is in control, he's not in control, stupid, we're in control, we're not.

  280. Well, basically, we're not, we're not in control, we're not, we're not running things.

  281. People like that think that that's really so spiritual.

  282. It's not spiritual at all.

  283. It denies the authority that we've been given the Apostles.

  284. Well, you know, god's in control.

  285. He took us to go on the other side.

  286. I don't know what he was thinking.

  287. Look at that, but God's in control.

  288. You know what.

  289. Everything happens for a reason.

  290. Peter gets up and prays.

  291. Everything happens for a reason.

  292. Brothers, we're out here in the boat, we're out here in the storm.

  293. It's all happening for a reason.

  294. I don't know what the reason is, but only God.

  295. See, that is imbecilic.

  296. No, we've got the word.

  297. We've been given authority.

  298. We've been given the third person of the God head to live on the inside of us.

  299. He's in us, he's upon us to make a big difference over it at God.

  300. Happy Thanksgiving.

  301. You know the word is the answer to your struggle.

  302. Your faith is the remedy to your contrary winds.

  303. We all have them.

  304. We all have them.

  305. You ever do anything for God.

  306. You're going to have some contrary winds.

  307. You're going to have some struggles.

  308. There's no getting around it.

  309. But we are overcomers.

  310. We have to defrost our faith.

  311. So I've just got three things here about how to do that.

  312. The first one on the list is defrost your prayer life.

  313. You know, defrost your prayer life.

  314. You know, prayer is a dialogue, it's not a monologue.

  315. As I said earlier, a lot of people struggle to hear God's voice.

  316. They'll pray a little while and then they'll think, well, I haven't heard anything.

  317. Well, if you read your Bible and pray, everything that he is written down here is for your benefit.

  318. It may not always be to you the Old Testament is really not to you, but you know, even in the Old Testament I've had words that God spoke, you know, in here, and it just comes right off the page.

  319. Last time I was in ICU back in August, laying there, couldn't breathe, short of breath, hadn't slept in three days because I had a condition known as atrial flutter which I'd never had before.

  320. It had atrial fibrillation.

  321. That's bad enough, makes you feel terrible.

  322. Flutter is even worse.

  323. Flutter is dangerous.

  324. From flutter you can get strokes.

  325. I've spoken against all that for decades when I found out what Jesus bought and paid for.

  326. I take it every day and I say I limit what the devil can do.

  327. But I was laying there gasping for air.

  328. I looked up at the ceiling and the smoke detector was moving.

  329. How many of you know?

  330. The smoke detector didn't move and I start laughing because the smoke detector is moving over this way.

  331. And then it stopped and started moving over this way.

  332. I asked all the drugs?

  333. Well, I hadn't had any drugs except heart medication.

  334. Well, it wasn't the drugs, it was the lack of sleep.

  335. That's what.

  336. When they torture you, one of the things they're able to do is they withhold sleep from you for several days and then you'll do anything, you're told.

  337. But anyway, I'm laying there and I said God, I know I've got a rama somewhere, and I mean, just like that.

  338. Isaiah 55 came to mind, the word that I speak.

  339. It will not return unto me, void, but it will prosper in the thing.

  340. Where, too, I sent it.

  341. And I started speaking to my heart.

  342. I said, heart, you might as well get in line, because I've been speaking to you for 15 years.

  343. Every word I've spoken I believed it's been sent to you.

  344. It's prospering in you.

  345. It will not return unto me, void.

  346. I demand you get in line.

  347. That took a few hours for them to get that crisis over with, but they got it over.

  348. It got a little worse before it got better.

  349. Actually, it got a little worse before it got better, but it started getting better and got better and got better until, praise God.

  350. I'm rock solid now.

  351. Praise the Lord and I'm going to keep my rhythm and a sinus rhythm.

  352. Amen, amen, all right, so defrost your prayer life.

  353. Say prayer is not a dialogue, it's a monologue.

  354. You know, get your spiffy.

  355. If you've kind of been hitting where you've had a period of time where you're not praying like you should just set some time aside and pray much in the Holy Ghost.

  356. Why do I say that?

  357. Because when you pray in the Spirit, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14, 14, your spirit prays.

  358. Your understanding is unfruitful.

  359. That's why people don't persist in praying in other tongues because your mind wants to wander.

  360. Well, don't pay any attention to your squirrely mind.

  361. Pray in the Holy Ghost, because when you pray in the Holy Ghost, what your spirit prayeth, your faith, is of your spirit, it's of your heart.

  362. Your ability to hear or perceive or to know what God wants you to do is entirely a spiritual thing.

  363. So when you get your spirit activated and acting and moving, it begins to rise up and take the ascendancy over your flesh and over your mind or your reason.

  364. Are you with me now?

  365. Pray much in the Holy Ghost.

  366. Pray much in the Holy Ghost.

  367. When I got out of the hospital after triple bypass.

  368. I was too physically weak to come back and preach.

  369. I knew I had to get recovered.

  370. I had to get my strength back and thank God for my family.

  371. They just took this church.

  372. They just kept on going, and so we?

  373. I pray much in the Holy Ghost.

  374. I get my spirit engaged and God began to show me things.

  375. Are you with me now?

  376. You know?

  377. Look to the inside for answers.

  378. Quit listening to every naysayer.

  379. Quit listening to every Tom, dick and Harry that the devil sends by you to discourage you.

  380. Sometimes we just need to turn the TV off.

  381. I had a friend of mine through his TV in the backyard.

  382. I don't know, I haven't gone that far yet.

  383. I've got some crazy friends, I admit.

  384. Praise his prayer, praise him, thank him.

  385. That's prayer.

  386. That's not hard to thank him.

  387. Sit out on, you know, sit out on your balcony if you're living in an apartment, or sit on your patio.

  388. Find a bird and thank God for the birds.

  389. Yeah right, jesus said consider the birds.

  390. Are they worried?

  391. No, they're not worried.

  392. Praise God.

  393. Stir yourself up, in other words, defrost your face so that you can hear it when he says come, or you can hear it when he says go, or you can hear anything else, if not necessarily a word, it's just a perception of what he wants.

  394. You get into a knowing, there's just a knowing that comes and after you pray much in other tongues, your mind starts to know what your spirit already knew.

  395. Hallelujah, defrost your prayer life, all right.

  396. The second one defrost your attitude.

  397. Defrost your attitude, in other words, hate the status quo.

  398. We talked about that briefly.

  399. The boat is the status quo.

  400. You've got to hate it.

  401. You got to hate the status quo.

  402. You get thrilled with the word.

  403. It'll work for you.

  404. Now I want you to see this.

  405. There were 12 apostles in the boat and only one got thrilled.

  406. Peter was thrilled to watch Jesus walk on the water and he wanted to do what Jesus did.

  407. He was so thrilled he asked something that was kind of presumptuous.

  408. I mean, you know why.

  409. You know you're asking to do that.

  410. What's the purpose of you walking on the water, peter?

  411. Well, I'll tell you one purpose is you get real educated in how great your authority is, supercedes the natural laws of physics.

  412. A lot of naval architects would love to talk with you At the time they designed their next battleship or their next aircraft carrier.

  413. They would like to talk to you to figure out how you walked on the water, because it blows.

  414. Everything they think is truth.

  415. Are y'all with me now?

  416. He got thrilled and it worked for him.

  417. But the other 11, they didn't get thrilled.

  418. They were just sitting in the boat.

  419. I could just picture that some of them were saying look at Peter.

  420. He was just sitting in the boat.

  421. I could just picture that some of them saying look at Peter, isn't that just like him?

  422. He just I'll leave the guy.

  423. He just doesn't know when to quit man.

  424. Look at him.

  425. He's asking to go walking.

  426. What in the world are you silly?

  427. And then he starts walking on the water and they think, oh, they heard the same company.

  428. They could have done it.

  429. Any of the 11 could have, even at that time, at any time they could have gone over the side and walked out, but they didn't.

  430. They weren't thrilled with the supernatural, they weren't thrilled with the word.

  431. They were satisfied with the status quo.

  432. Smith Wigglesworth, known as the apostle of faith.

  433. I don't know how many people he had legitimately raised from the dead.

  434. I read one time it was 23, another time I read 17.

  435. I really don't want the number is.

  436. But it's more than a few, it's more than I've got raised from the dead.

  437. One person had already been embalmed.

  438. Lay it in the casket.

  439. He went over there and picked him up out of the casket he's stiff, laid him up against the wall and boom, guy lived.

  440. That'll make your hair stand up, especially if you're the undertaker, but anyway.

  441. So Smith Wigglesworth said this.

  442. He said if I can make a sick person righteously indignant, I can help him.

  443. Well, that's true of anybody.

  444. If I can take a poor person, if I can take, you know, a frustrated person, if I can take, you know, a defeated person, a depressed person, a sick person, if I can take somebody that's in the status quo that they don't like and make them righteously indignant about it, I can help them.

  445. Glory to God.

  446. Oh, there's a truth in that statement Derived from the scriptures.

  447. Peter was sick of that boat because it represented failure.

  448. It represented they were in a boat that's supposed to go somewhere and it wasn't going no place.

  449. He said I gotta get out of this boat.

  450. Jesus is making progress.

  451. I'm not making any.

  452. I wanna get out there where he's making progress.

  453. Are y'all getting this at all?

  454. Oh, come on.

  455. Praise the Lord.

  456. You gotta hate pain, you gotta hate disease, you gotta hate poverty and hate demons.

  457. Oh, I've got such scriph it by.

  458. This is demons.

  459. Get rid of the demons in your house.

  460. Good is the enemy of best, enough is the enemy of more than enough.

  461. Think about that.

  462. In America, most people have pretty much enough.

  463. It's not more than enough, but there's still a lot of people that just live in paycheck to paycheck, but they are living.

  464. And then when the pandemic shut everybody in and people needed rent relief, well, the government was quick to give them a bunch of rent relief and all of that.

  465. And people it's all by design and that's part of why we're going through what we're going through conditioned people to look to the government instead of God to supply their needs.

  466. That's what's going on, folks.

  467. When you've been doing that a long time, like Germany and Austria and Australia, you finally don't have enough money to take care of people.

  468. There is no safety net.

  469. But anyway, john 10, john, chapter 10, jesus said the thief cometh, not John 10, 10, the thief cometh not but for to steal, kill and destroy.

    John 10 chapter mention

  470. But I am come.

  471. Don't be getting me confused with the devil.

  472. I am come that you might have life.

  473. Might is not on him, it's on us that you might have life and that you would have it more abundantly.

  474. You have life more abundantly when you look that up in your concordance.

  475. In the Greek it means super abundant in quantity, superior in quality.

  476. Everybody say super abundant.

  477. And what quantity?

  478. Superior in quality?

  479. So it's a quantitative and qualitative redemption I'm talking about in every area of your life.

  480. Don't religi-ize, don't get it all on the basis of religion and spiritualize everything that Jesus did.

  481. Jesus, his life, is everything in this earth plus in forevermore.

  482. But it starts right here, down here, right now.

  483. Zoe, the God kind of life, life, the way God lives.

  484. Can you imagine God doing without anything?

  485. He doesn't do without, and we shouldn't either.

  486. There's a supply for every need.

  487. Are y'all with me now?

  488. Yes, so defrost your attitude.

  489. I mean, let's get hot on the fact that we it's not just wanting more for more sake, it's because it helps us help others.

  490. Yes, all right.

  491. And then, finally, defrost your inaction, because you can know these things.

  492. Just think about as what the apostles do, hanging out with Jesus.

  493. You know, peter said it.

  494. I opened the service of 1 John 1,.

  495. He said that which we have seen, that which we have heard that which we have handled of the word of life, declare we unto you.

  496. So they heard, they saw, they handled the word of life, who is Jesus?

  497. But Jesus is the word, the word of Zoe.

  498. And they were in the process of doing that and it took them more than a couple of tries to get to hang of it, didn't it?

  499. You think about it?

  500. You only had three and a half years with the Lord.

  501. I never apologized for preaching the same thing over and over again, because we need to hear it over and over again.

  502. It's not what we heard a year ago or five years ago or 15 years ago.

  503. It's what we are hearing right now.

  504. That matters.

  505. Glory to God.

  506. So you've got my job is to give you something that will make you act, that will make you move on your faith, because faith is an act.

  507. Faith is not a concept, it's not an endeavor.

  508. Well, I'm gonna try to do that, brother.

  509. No, you don't try anything, you do it.

  510. You move with the intention of doing that thing.

  511. Faith without corresponding action?

  512. James 2.20 in the Weymouth, I believe it is.

  513. Faith without corresponding action is dead Talking about that corpse that Brother Wigglesworth had to stand up in the corner, that thing, that corpse, that person was not in there.

  514. That person was gone.

  515. Spirit left his body.

  516. His spirit is in heaven and all this left is his earth suit and it's been bombed and it's sitting there.

  517. Can that corpse do anything?

  518. Can it sweep the floors?

  519. Can it do what it used to do when it had a spirit living inside of it?

  520. See, that's the way it is with your faith.

  521. When your faith has no action, you might as well be dead.

  522. That's kind of hard to hear, isn't it?

  523. Yes, but it's what the Bible says.

  524. So then that motivates you to say, no, I've got to act, because that's the only difference between death and life is action.

  525. I've got to act.

  526. If I don't act, then I'm dead, or at least asleep.

  527. See, it's hard to tell between sleep and death.

  528. If you can look real hard and see somebody breathing, then you know they're still alive, they're just asleep.

  529. But as far as results, a sleeping person is the same as a dead person.

  530. And then this idea that nothing's getting done except sleep.

  531. So much of the church is asleep.

  532. I don't know which part of the church is dead and which part is asleep.

  533. That's not my job to think about that.

  534. My job is to wake up the part that's asleep, amen.

  535. And so we have to defrost our inaction.

  536. I mean, faith is a leap, it's a jump.

  537. I mean, just think about it, peter, he didn't sit around and analyze, he didn't ask everybody's opinion.

  538. I mean he was when Jesus said come, he came.

  539. He went over the side of that boat.

  540. He didn't think about it, he didn't agonize over it.

  541. Are you with me now?

  542. He just started walking on that water.

  543. Man, glory to God, woo, yes, yes.

  544. Then something distracted him.

  545. Probably a wave hit him in the face.

  546. He's out there on rough seas.

  547. I mean, when you're walking, you know, you ever see that painting that some Italian guy painted.

  548. He always paints Jesus like he's a young Italian boy, he's a Jewish rabbi.

  549. Okay, he looks Jewish and all those guys were Jewish.

  550. You know they had Jewish noses, they had Jewish faces.

  551. Fishermen, you know where a fisherman's face looked like?

  552. It looks like 40 miles of bad road.

  553. You know, out there in the salt spray, out there in the weather, he cold and so, and Jesus is just walking on the water and these little waves are just kind of breaking over his tops of his feet.

  554. You know, shows him walking.

  555. No, God gave me a vision one time.

  556. You got waves coming up like this this is a stormy.

  557. He's bobbing up and down like a cork.

  558. Jesus is walking on the surface of the water.

  559. He's going up and down, up and down.

  560. He's not just walking along like up on this platform, I mean, he is walking up and down these waves.

  561. So that's what Peter was doing.

  562. And the wind's blowing.

  563. Right, you ever been out to Galveston?

  564. The wind's blowing and it blows from one top of one wave to the next.

  565. He's just blowing across there.

  566. What happens when you get down in the trough with that water hitting you right in the face?

  567. Probably that's what happened to Peter.

  568. I mean he was doing just fine until the spray got him distracted and he got to realizing oh my God, look at this, I don't.

  569. Ah, save me, jesus, save me.

  570. Well, you got to say this about him.

  571. He had little faith.

  572. You know, little faith walked on the water.

  573. I mean at least he was defrosted.

  574. I mean he pulled the gizzards out of his frozen turkey.

  575. He might not be fully cooked, but I mean at least he was ahead of the turkeys in the boat.

  576. Are you with me now?

  577. Very, very good, very good, you're great Y'all think about that Thursday.

  578. Now I'm probably gone.

  579. I'm not.

  580. I'm not Hallelujah, just keep on acting on the Word.

  581. Until you keep acting on the Word.

  582. Well, I've been doing it, we'll keep on.

  583. I think a lot of times we miss it, just like Peter.

  584. Peter got all the way to Jesus.

  585. He got all the way to Jesus before he got afraid.

  586. I mean, he got right there and then he said, oh, jesus, save me.

  587. And he just caught him like that.

  588. He never sank.

  589. He caught him and then turned around and walked him back to the boat.

  590. Are y'all with me now?

  591. Are y'all thinking we got to meditate the Word of God?

  592. You got to meditate and get everything out of it for yourself.

  593. That's why I'm teaching this this morning.

  594. We many times quit acting on the Word right before that thing that we're believing for comes to pass.

  595. Instead, we sink and he saves us.

  596. I mean, god has mercy.

  597. His mercies are new every morning, but it's time for us to quit living off the mercies of God and let's live on the blessings of God and on our inheritance that we have through faith, amen.

  598. So just refuse to be a frozen turkey.

  599. Defrost your faith.

  600. Come on, lift your hands and receive today.

  601. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  602. Isn't that Word of God?

  603. Isn't it rich?

  604. Isn't it wonderful?

  605. Didn't it bless you today?

  606. It blessed me just preaching.
