A Prosperous Journey

But let's open in prayer, shall we?

Yeah, father, we just thank you for this live stream broadcast tonight.

And, father, we just thank you that we believe in supernatural hearing.

And so, lord, you've given Selina and I both utterance, lord, to speak your word, and we do it boldly, in love, we speak the truth.

And so, father, we just thank you for revelation and knowledge tonight that's able to go out over these communication airwaves and lines tonight.

And so, father, we just know that your spirit is that we put you first and that you are in charge and that we don't take your anointing for granted.

But, father, we just thank you that we are anointed to preach your word and to speak your truth in Jesus' name, amen.

Amen.

Well, we just wanted to share a message with you tonight, called a prosperous journey.

You know that this life is a journey.

It's not all about the destination.

Our final destination is heaven, and one day we'll get there.

It might be in an hour, it might be in 10 minutes.

Jesus is coming soon and we're to prepare ourselves for his soon coming return.

But, man, I'm telling you along the way, god wants us to be blessed, amen, amen.

So we're going to be studying one verse all night long in third John one, and it'll be verse two.

Hey, we'll skip ahead and let you know that, but I just thought we'd look at it like a Bible study, you know, and we're really literally going to pull apart almost every word of that verse.

But first let's look at the context of third John and let's get a little bit more basic.

Let's see you know I'm reading right out, I'm cheating.

You know I have a new King James Version Spirit filled life Bible and I love this Bible.

It's, it's a good study Bible.

You can't see it on camera, but there's lots of word, wealths and things broken out Kingdom dynamics, lots of things, lots of good ways to study.

There's lots of things written in the margins.

And so, if I back up a page, here's the intro to third John, and obviously it's written by the Apostle John when he was a disciple earlier with Jesus.

He would call himself the disciple whom Jesus loves, and so he would elevate himself and that's funny.

But he's not John the Baptist, there's more than one John.

It's like my legal name is John and my dad's name is John, so we have two Johns around here, but don't get them confused.

This is also.

You know, he wrote the book of John.

Then he wrote later on first, second and third John, and then he went and wrote the book of Revelation and then he was called from then on John the Revelator.

But anyway, this is third John, and and he is doing three things in this chapter.

This book is only one chapter long, and so in it tells me that right now I'm again I'm cheating the content of this, this book, and and verses one through eight, he is encouraging Gaius and he's bragging on him for his generous hospitality, and then I need to take a class in how to pronounce biblical names.

And Diotrifus, he's like ripping him a new one man.

He is just name and names for his selfish pride and his disrupting of the harmony of fellowship, and so we'll talk a little bit about that later.

And then again he's bragging on Demetrius as well.

And then, boom, that we're done, thirteen verses of the whole book of third John.

And so again, we're going to be studying verse two, but let's read real quick.

Let's skip to verse five, where he's bragging on Gaius specifically, and it says Beloved, you do faithfully, whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers who have borne witness of your love before the church.

If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, because they went forth for his namesake, taking nothing from the Gentiles we therefore ought to receive, such that we may become fellow workers for the truth.

So he's bragging on his generosity, and so his generosity is tied to verse two that we're going to study so much, and so we're going to talk about prospering and all the different ways that God wants us to prosper in.

But it begins with, it's encapsulated inside of our generosity, our generosity to strangers, our generosity to those in the household of faith, and so we must be generous, amen.

And so then let's go ahead and go down, and then he really tears apart and names names.

You know, jesus name names we're not really talking about that tonight, but Peter name names.

And so here John is naming names, and in verse 11, it says beloved, which is again the first word of the verse we're about to study, beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what, instead, what is good.

He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God, so he's accusing this person of not even seeing God.

And so we want to do good, we want to be imitators of what is good and who does good, amen.

And so it's in this context that we're going to be meditating on verse two, and so let's go ahead and begin in verse two.

We've heard this are probably our whole Christian life the scripture over and over and over again, and what struck me is Selena was receiving the offering this past Sunday morning and she happened to use this verse and she broke out in the Greek and even the, also the Hebrew word that's also connected to the word prosper, and I learned some things.

And so there I was and revelations being poured into me.

And it's just one verse, and so the Holy spirit began to to illuminate some things in this verse, and I thought we would just read a couple of verses and then go back, like I said, and meditate on it Again.

Third, john, one verse, two, beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

For I rejoice greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth Again.

Gaius is a child of his faith, you know a son in the faith of John.

And so here he is bragging on him, and here he's saying that, hey, I pray above all these things that you prosper in all things.

And so, right off the bat, let's.

The King James version says wish, but wish in the Greek means pray, but wish in English doesn't mean, doesn't mean pray, does it?

And so, like, let's not get it confused, we're praying and so, but first of all, it is the word beloved.

Did you know that your beloved of the Lord, that the Lord loves you?

Obviously, it means to be loved, but you know one definition.

Let's see when did it go?

Oh, here, right here.

It means esteemed, it means beloved, it means dear, it means favorite.

You know that you're God's favorite.

Yep, I can be God's favorite.

You can be God's favorite.

Yeah, selena can be God's favorite.

John can be the disciple that Jesus loved.

It also means worthy of love, and so I just wanted you to receive that word tonight.

Beloved, you're worthy of God's love.

God sent his son into the world so that we may be saved.

So just, he gave his only begotten son just to have a relationship with you, just to have a relationship with me.

In that relationship when we pray, it's not just a one way communication, it's not just our pouring out all of our needs and all of our wants.

No, god speaks back to us through his Holy Spirit.

Spirit to spirit, amen.

And so that's really important that you are worthy of his love.

You are worthy of him sending his son to die on the cross Just for you, just for your sins, in order to have a relationship.

So why leave that on the table?

Why walk one step further without receiving his love, receiving that gift, and walking in that truth, and walking in that revelation of that truth, amen.

So, beloved, I pray.

You know the word pray.

That requires faith.

We have faith when we pray.

We must believe.

We believe that God is and that he's a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, and that's in Hebrews 11.6.

And so here we're praying that.

You know, we can pray this prayer over our kids, we can pray this prayer over our grandkids, but sometimes the Holy Spirit will put somebody, bring somebody to my remembrance, and I'll begin to pray this over them.

And so, and obviously we can read it with the revelation of God speaking it over us that we can prosper in all things, and so praying that we may prosper in all things that we may.

So that means that it's not just going to happen.

We've got some steps that we need to walk in.

It's conditional in order to prosper and so, but backing up to pray real quick, it's not again, it's not wishing, it's not just hoping, hoping is important.

We put our hope in the Lord, but we have faith in the Lord and we pray, and when we pray we believe that we shall have Amen, we believe that we receive.

And so, in the word, all that we may prosper in all things, all things, it means the whole, all of it, you know.

Yeah.

It doesn't mean 22.2%, it means all.

All means all, and so let's break out the word prosper, though, do you want to read that, yeah, go ahead.

So the Hebrew word for prosper means to push forward or to make progress.

Amen, that's good.

So we should be making progress in this life.

You know, in this prosperous journey we should be making progress.

And then another meaning in the Greek for prosper is to help on the road.

And so our journey in life, you know God wants us blessed.

Amen, he doesn't, he wants us healed, he wants us whole.

He doesn't want us sick or depressed or you know having mental, you know fatigue, or he wants his spirit, soul and body to be strong and so prosper in all things, just like Jay says.

You know it includes everything finances, your health, your relationships, and then as our soul, you know our soul prospers.

So that's our mind, our will, our emotion.

So you know he wants us to have good mental health.

So sometimes, when we think of this word, you know, if somebody just says prosper, we think money, we think finances.

But it's so much more than just money and finances.

You know somebody can.

You know true riches is not just having money in the bank.

That's right True riches and there's a lot of rich people that aren't happy.

Right, and so true riches.

They seemingly have everything.

Yeah, it's knowing Jesus, you know, having that relationship with him, that you're rich, because I mean we are just rich because we know Jesus.

I mean we can put it like that because we have Jesus, we are rich, we have it all, we have it all we have everything we need Right and so so I just want to encourage you.

When you see that word in the Bible, it doesn't just mean money, but it means your whole, your, your health, your, your mind, all of it, the whole package.

God wants you to be 100%, and so it's conditional, it's up to us, in every area of our life, to to, to strive to be 100%, to to, to check to see, hey, am I not?

You know, God's called me to do something and maybe I've, you know, neglected, or just, you know, scared or whatever.

But but no, God wants us to be 100% in every area of our life.

That's right.

You know, I found one, one other meeting that you left out when I looked it up and it means to have things go well.

To prosper means to have things go well.

You know, the Lord wants every area of your life to succeed, for you to have success in every area, with nothing missing and nothing broken.

And again, I'm going to repeat some of the ones you already said.

It also means to gain, but it means to push forward and to make progress.

You know, all of us, if we look back in the rearview mirror, we've made mistakes, we've tripped, we've fallen, we've stumbled.

But the Lord wants us to get up, to refuse to be stuck and to push forward and make progress.

Go ahead, right.

So to make progress.

I'm always in your right.

So to make progress, I mean that's, you know there's no neutral ground with God and and every area of our life.

You know, spiritually, if you're not reading the word you're make, you're not making progress If you're not reading the word, if you're not and that's spiritual, but let's say natural if you're not working on those, say, let's say you had an injury and the doctor said you needed to go to have physical therapy.

Well, I don't want, I don't want to do that.

Well, are we progressing in that?

You know, maybe your knee or your elbow or whatever, you know you have to do in the natural, the supernatural and the supernatural working together right.

And so God's already done.

Always said that.

Yes, he already said Jesus, jesus already died for our sickness, you know, for everything.

So so it's up to us to take, you know that, but then also using wisdom, and hey, what can I do to to help me along the road to progress, you know?

And so so, yeah, god, but God, god helps us, he, he does, he really does, he helps us, the Holy Ghost inside of us.

Would you like to read that paragraph, or you want me to?

You can, if you want, yeah.

You know this kingdom dynamics right out of our Bible.

Here it says how would you like to have God push you forward in your marriage?

How would you like God to push you forward in your job?

The great news is, god wants to push you forward and he wants to help you make progress.

That's what Selena was saying.

He wants to prosper you in everything that you do.

God's ventures are always successful.

He never failed at any time.

Yeah.

So if he is with you, you will be successful.

So again, if he's with you, if you've invited him in your boat as Peter had to invite him in his boat take him fishing and you're going to be successful.

You're going to have success in every area, not just one area.

Right, if you are faithful to not withhold anything from him and realize that everything that you have came from him and everything that you are has been provided to you from him and you hold nothing back, you're all in.

I'm telling you, you're going to see success in every area.

And you say well, Jay, this word I don't know this word prosper.

In this verse it really just means in spiritual things.

Well, I've got Mark Hankins' Spirit Field Study Guide.

I'm saying the title of the long scripture study guide.

We sell these.

I'm not trying to sell any tonight, but if you would like a copy of this, it's in our media center.

And when you look at what it does, you have several verses in the Bible and then it breaks it out in different translations.

And so this verse in the Stevens translations and translation says may God, who has so richly prospered you in your spiritual life, grant you a full measure of all temporal blessings.

So in other words, he's richly prospered you in spiritual things already.

Hey, that's already been given to you, You've already received it.

But he wants to grant unto you a full measure of temporal blessings.

Temporal meaning now like it's limited in time.

That's what that word means.

And so that means that, yes, we're going to have all kind of spiritual blessings in heaven, but God wants us blessed in every area on this earth.

Now.

He wants us to walk in, prosper and have success in every area.

Jesus gave us this wonderful life, but we have just to have to ask ourselves are we partaking of it?

Are we what he did on the cross?

Are we grabbing a hold of that Right?

Right, exactly.

And so, before we get into what it means to the word health and we also want to talk about our soul, even as our soul prospers.

That's where we're headed next.

But I had this we're talking about a prosperous journey and how God wants to lead us from faith to faith in glory to glory, day by day, and grow day by day, and so we know our ultimate destination is heaven, but he wants to be able to lead, guide and direct us through his spirit, the Holy Spirit, every day.

And so this past Friday window into our world, friday is supposed to be our day off, but we really work a lot, and so Selena and Rachel were here all day at the church doing Christmas cards, the church Christmas cards.

So I decided to take a little trip by myself on the motorcycle and I rode up to College Station.

I had to pick up something from the dealer up there, and I was just telling them I was making a joke, because I noticed on the map there's a little town in Normandy called Wealthy, texas, and so I was going to make a big joke and see if I could find a Wealthy sign and pose in front of it.

And so that's where as far as a destination.

In my mind, that's where I thought I was headed.

I just knew I had to swing by that dealer and pick something up.

And so when I left the dealer I knew I was low on gas and my gas light was on and I missed the exit to where the gas station was that I was headed to, and that was the last chance to make it to that gas station.

So basically, after that, I'm just being adventurous looking for a gas station and I turned and went into College Station and so basically I finally found one the opposite direction of where I thought I was heading, and while I'm filling up with gas, I'm not thinking at all where I'm headed next, because I don't care.

That's really what riding a motorcycle is all about, and you don't have a schedule, you don't have.

And the Holy Spirit said I want you to go to Lake Somerville.

And I thought, oh, that's a great place, lake Somerville.

And he said don't you remember they have a state park?

And I was like they do, where is that?

And so I didn't even research it.

I didn't know exactly where it was.

I punched it in the map and I hit go and I left the gas station and it was like I don't know 45 minutes or something and I'm at Lake Somerville State Park.

Never been there.

It was really windy last Friday and I wanted to tell the long version of this because it's worth it.

So I get there and there's like a cash box in the front you can drop your money in if you're just there for the day, and I almost did that, but it was like $4.00.

I didn't have four ones.

So I went inside.

I start talking to the lady.

She asked me where I was from and all that.

She's really nice.

And so, hey, are you just passing through?

Are you going to spend some time here?

If I can find a good picnic table, I'll just hang out for a couple of hours and study.

And so she gets the map out and she, well, this is the day camp area where you're allowed to be, but you can go over here too.

And she drew out on the map it wasn't even on the map.

This, you know, put an X where the picnic table was at this beautiful point.

And so, a long story short, I couldn't find it and I was just going to settle for this picnic table over here.

But there was something on the inside of me pressing me to get to this picnic table, and so I parked in a parking lot.

I had to make a hike down this trail and there that picnic table was on the end of this point, under this oak tree.

It was gorgeous, beautiful, the wind was blowing and I had an appointed time with the Lord, and the Lord was able to pour into me some things that he needed to pour into and showed me some things, and I almost missed it, and so that just totally blew me away and it showed me how it kind of really was the whole reason why I own a motorcycle and have that as a hobby, and so it filled me up spiritually and then reminded me of a restaurant, and I rode to a restaurant after that and had lunch and it was amazing food.

But we'll stick to the spiritual side.

But that's the kind of thing that God wants to.

He's got something prepared for you that you don't even know about, you've done no research about, you don't know where you're going.

But if you'll just follow his leading, follow the Holy Spirit, allow him to lead you, allow him to guide you and direct you.

Direct means like turn left, turn right, keep going.

You know another hundred yards.

And you know, and lead, guide and direct are three different things.

That's why we say it that way.

And so allow yourself to be led by the Spirit, and he's gonna open up and a whole new adventure for you.

Man, follow in the call of God, follow in the plan of God, for your life is adventurous, it's fun, it's exciting.

And so don't ever allow the devil to talk you out of or you know, or other people like oh, you can't know the plans of God for your.

No, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians that he's revealed his plans.

You know, they always quote I has not seen.

I'm reading out of 1 Corinthians.

Somehow I missed I think it's two, I forgot the chapter.

But I has not seen, nor heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him.

And then they stop right there.

I has not seen.

You know and so, but if you read what's the next verse?

Say, it says but God has revealed them to us through his Spirit.

See you, let your other butts get in the way, right, but I never hear from the Lord.

But I read my Bible, but he never talks to me, but I never hear.

You know, move that butt out of the way and grab ahold of this butt.

Yes, I said that.

Now I have your attention though, but God has revealed them to us through his Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God, for what man knows, the things of a man, except the Spirit of the man which is in him.

So your Spirit in you, that's where God reveals, from his Spirit, spirit to Spirit, his plans, his desires and, yes, it says, even the deep things of God.

We can know them, we can rest assured, we can rest our entire human personality and confidence in those plans that he has for us, and he reveals that Spirit to Spirit.

And so if you're ignoring God, if you're walking through your day and you're not honoring the Holy Spirit, you're not giving him first place, then it's hard to.

He's still trying to.

He's there trying to lead, guide and direct you, but you're just not listening.

And so all it takes.

Man, I just got interrupted.

You know there's somebody watching right now.

They're actually not watching right now, they're watching later on, and you're watching this later.

You had several opportunities to click off, but the God has got your attention.

I'm telling you.

This is the Holy Spirit.

He wants you to know that if you'll put him first, you are able to hear from God through your Spirit.

If you'll just get in a quiet place, if you'll shut your mind off, if you'll get rid of the doubts and the unbelief and grab ahold of what the word of God says, that he wants to prosper you in all things, if you grab ahold of that, he's speaking to you tonight and he's gonna begin to bring you success in areas that you're not even paying attention to.

You're gonna have success on your right hand and on your left hand, and I'm telling you, a year from now, you're gonna be blown away at how far and all the places that God's led you to, because you put him first and you honored him with everything that you have, amen.

And so let's continue digging in to third John.

One, and where do we leave off?

To be in health.

The word health, it means several things.

It means to be sound and body, of course, in good health, to be sound, to be correct, to be well-grounded.

But again, I'm cheating.

I'm reading right out of the word wealth here under that scripture in this Bible, and it points back to something that Paul.

When Paul uses the same Greek word in his letters, it means soundness and doctrine and faith.

In other words, it means right theology.

And so it's a dangerous place to be in this world living in the last days, not knowing, not having good theology, not being taught of the word of God right and so, just like you had Pharisees back in Jesus' day that would go around every time Jesus spoke and every time he's leading a group of people in the truth, they're there talking smack, trying to dishonor and trying to discredit him in all of his efforts.

And you know, all of those efforts were futile.

And so you need to know why you believe what you believe.

And it's a good time to get grounded in a good local church.

And I don't know where you're from, I don't know where you're watching from tonight, but this is a good one.

We have a good pastor.

He happens to be my dad, but he's an amazing pastor and he knows exactly what he believes and why he believes it, and he tells it like it is.

And you know you've gotta be a biblical theologian to get it confused right.

You know the words of Jesus, the word of God.

It's laid out so simple.

All you have to do is have a heart of a child and we can understand the word of God through our spirit.

Again, it's spirit to spirit.

But that's what the word health means.

It means in every area, you know, not just physically, but it means to be sound, to be well grounded.

And so we wanna be in health, we wanna be well grounded, just as your soul prospers.

Again, prosperous means the same thing there.

But your soul, what is your soul?

Is it your spirit?

No, it's your mind, your will, your intellect, your emotions.

And so that you're thinking, you have to have right thinking.

And so how do we receive right thinking is by reading the word of God.

And when we read the word of God it renews our mind to his thoughts.

So everything, if faith begins where the will of God is known and his will is written right here in this book and we say that almost every time we're on Facebook and my dad says it about every other service on average and so faith begins where the will of God is known.

And in order to know the will of God and in order to hear from his spirit man, you must read his word, and so I like to read it out loud.

I don't know if you do that, but when you put God's word in your mouth, it's just as powerful as God's word coming out of his mouth, and you're speaking God's word, you're speaking God's mysteries, you're speaking God's secret, and your spirit can hear it, but it goes through your mind.

If it's coming out of your mouth, it's going through your brain.

Your brain tissue is being renewed by God's word, and so I'm telling you, you have no excuse not to follow after everything God has for you in that state, and so I just encourage you that's.

We need to prosper in our soul, we need to prosper in our mind, and we need to kill our own will and go ahead and pray.

That prayer not my will, but thy will be done and grab ahold of his will in his way that he has specifically for you, and follow that.

Amen, amen, amen.

You have anything else to add?

Yeah, yeah.

So whenever you mentioned, you know, jesus went through.

He was tempted in areas like we are tempted, and so you know we live in a busy, crazy world.

I just went to well, jay didn't get to, he couldn't go because he had praise and worship practice, but my little niece, anna, had a play and it was titled like this crazy busy Christmas.

It was really cute, I mean, but the meaning, you know, jesus is the reason for the season, even in this crazy, busy world.

And so so many of the times we have in this journey, we have all these voices coming, and so one scripture that I read you know, in this, prosper again, it doesn't just mean money, health, but also means relationships.

That's right.

And one scripture that I read with the youth this past Sunday night is 1 Corinthians 1533, says stop fooling yourselves.

Evil companions will corrupt good morals and character.

And so you know we should be guarding who influences our life.

And so so many of the times we don't, and you're maybe like, well, you know, you can't.

Your family's, your family, right, you gotta be with them, but I'm talking about friends, or even if there's things that you read online that influences your life, whether you realize it or not, that post or that story about somebody that influences your life.

So we have to guard.

You know what we allow.

You know in our ear gates and in our eye gates.

And then 1 Thessalonians, 516 through 18, says let joy be your continual feast, make your life a prayer and, in the midst of everything, be always giving thanks, for this is God's perfect plan for you in Christ.

And so the opposite of giving thanks is complaining, and so complaining is a sin, and so we can't live life, you know, complaining and murmuring.

We have to always be thankful and grateful and joyful, even when times are tough, even when it doesn't work out right, when it's in that moment where let joy be your continual feast.

So we have to allow it, you know, and it's easy to say, you know, yes, brother, yes, sister, amen in church.

But it's what we do Monday through Saturday, right, it's what we do on a regular basis, like just to be changing, to be moving forward, right, progressing, and so those certain areas in our lives where, like, hey, you know what, god, I need to change in that area and so, when you see it, he can help you.

God, holy Spirit, help me, you know, show me, help me not to complain, Help me not to murmur, because that's part of our journey, that's part of a prosperous journey, is to joy, is in that prosperous joint journey, right, yep, yeah, and so I just want to encourage you with that and a good attitude.

And a good attitude and all of that, all of that, and we're changing from glory to glory.

You know God helps us from faith to faith and glory to glory, and so, anyways, I just want to encourage you with that rejoice, give thanks, no matter what you're going through, I have a good attitude, because not only does it change you, but it changes the people around you.

You know you set the example, and so what kind of example, are we Especially around the holiday, you know, around Christmas with your family.

Yeah, you set the example.

You set the atmosphere in your home.

You know that quote where I remember who said it.

But you know, out of a hundred men, 99, what was it?

Won't read the Bible, but the one will read the Christian.

You know, like most men, they might not pick up a Bible but they'll read you.

That's right, right.

Our life is an example of the glory and of Jesus and so being Christ like so, that's part of a journey, a good journey.

And you know just to be a little bit redundant here, but you know the entrance of God's word brings light, and so that light, that illumination, allow that light to identify the thoughts that don't meet God's standard.

You know we're to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the purpose of God.

And so whenever we're thinking below God's standard, we've got the entrance of God's word brings light, and that light helps illuminate those thoughts and identify those and cast those down.

And so he's given us permission, he's given us authority to think his thoughts, not just to know his ways, what I was saying earlier.

But we can think God's thoughts.

We have the mind of Christ, we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us because we're living our lives in Christ.

So again, don't ever let anyone, including the devil, talk you out of that.

Or you know, yes, god's ways are high and God's thoughts are high but, man, we're high right there with them.

That's right Amen.

Or even talking yourself out of it.

I mean you know that's true too.

A lot people do talk about it, but some of the times, like we talk ourselves out of things and so no, confess the word.

You know we're overcomers, we have the mind of Christ, just as Jay was saying.

You know, this past Sunday night, selena was preaching in the youth and one of her scriptures she used I can't think of where it's at right now, but it talked about practicing righteousness.

And so we've already been made.

We are the righteousness of God in Christ.

We're not growing in righteousness and so, but we've received that righteousness, and so once you receive that righteousness, you receive everything that being in Christ is all about.

And he took our shame that's one of the things that he took on the cross was our shame, and so we don't have to be, we don't have to feel that shame.

We don't have to feel shameful of what we've done in our past, or that we're not worth it, or that we're not.

You know, the blood of Jesus makes us worthy.

The blood of Jesus makes us worth it, amen, amen.

And so we've already been made righteous.

So all we have to do is receive that's right, that righteousness, amen.

Psalm 8411, in the amplified, says for the Lord, god is a son and shield.

The Lord bestows present grace and favor and future glory, honor, splendor and heavenly bliss.

No good thing will he withhold from those who walk up rightly.

So here God doesn't withhold any good thing for the, you know, for those who walk up rightly.

He's a good heavenly father.

He loves you.

He has a plan for your life.

Another translation in that verse says he does not hold back any blessing.

Isn't that good?

He does not hold back any blessing, so in this journey of life, he does not hold back any blessing.

He's a father that cares about you.

He's a father that wants you healed and hold and delivered, and so we just have to partake of it, we have to claim it, we have to lay hold.

Like I said earlier, you know partake.

Jesus came that we might have life, and he didn't stop there, but in a more abundant life.

You know health, good mental health.

You know a sound mind, not fearful, not dreadful dreading.

You know dread can be.

That's part of fear, if you dread to do something, like God's called you to do something.

But I, I'm scared, I'm fearful, I dread it, I dread going.

No, no, no, no, no, it's perspective.

It's what God's given us this life, whatever season you're in, and don't dread it, just just embrace it, enjoy it, love it, have a good attitude, right.
