Let's lift our bibles up and wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.
-
Before we're seated, let's just get ready with our confession.
-
This is what we do around here at Glorious Way Church.
-
Everybody say Heavenly Father, I'm here on purpose this morning, intentionally, to add to my arsenal I need.
-
I've got weapons, but I need ammo and I'm receiving that which I need this morning to make me an overcomer.
-
I overcome all by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of my testimony in Jesus name.
-
Amen.
-
Thank you, worship team.
-
That was beautiful.
-
Let's turn in our bibles to Isaiah 55 and start reading with verse 10.
-
It'd be great if you read the whole chapter sometime today.
-
I'll give you some homework.
-
Isaiah 55, 10.
-
For as the rain cometh down we had some of that, didn't we?
-
And the snow from heaven as.
-
So he's making a comparison as the rain cometh down, the snow from heaven and returneth not thither.
-
I like the King James because it has hither and thither New King James, doesn't you like the new King James?
-
Have at it.
-
I like the NLT, the passion you've got all kind of great, but I just stick with the King James.
-
That's how I memorized.
-
I didn't memorize it just out of it's in my spirit, in King James Hither in there.
-
It doesn't return to him back in heaven, but it waters the earth.
-
See, it was sent to the earth.
-
It waters the earth and makes it bring forth and bud that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater.
-
That's why the earth is here.
-
We're not here to serve the earth, we're here for the earth to serve us.
-
These idiots talking about global warming and everything else.
-
No, we don't have the power to warm up the earth with our activities.
-
Only God can do that.
-
So shall so, as the rain comes down and makes the earth produce, so shall my word be.
-
Everybody say God's word, so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth.
-
That shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please it shall prosper in the thing where too, I sent it.
-
And so today I just wanted to share a message entitled God's Word, the ultimate game changer.
-
I tell you when Jesus was sent to the earth.
-
You know how many of you know he was sent and he came, and that's what we're celebrating Christmas.
-
And but who is Jesus?
-
He's the Word of God.
-
He's the Word made flesh, who dwelt among us, and so he was the ultimate game changer I just think about.
-
The earth was with, it was just in darkness.
-
Those that dwelt in darkness saw great light.
-
Jesus switched the light on and I mean, you know he made a huge difference.
-
How many of you know he made a huge difference in your life?
-
He's a game changer, and I'm using this imagery because Paul often used the games, you know, with the Greek.
-
The Greeks were the ones that came up with the games, which is what we kind of loosely have, you know, the Olympics and all of that, the tradition of the games and competition.
-
He also uses fighting as an imagery in his epistles and so in that day and time, you know he uses it, and so we use game changer.
-
I was thinking about game changers We've got.
-
You know you may not keep up with it, but I love football, I like college ball, I like pro football.
-
I'm mad at them, but I like it.
-
And I boycotted him last year but I couldn't stand it this year.
-
I just had you know after a while, you know you could boycott everybody that sells booze, but then where would you go shop?
-
You know everybody sells booze now, even HEB, big Baptist people.
-
They sell wine.
-
They got it everywhere, you know.
-
Anyway, the NCAA, you know, has enforced these rules to make athletes just, you know they have to be amateurs and so they can't be paid a dime.
-
Oh no, you've got $50 from a coach, you know, to recruit you, you know.
-
So they, man, they've put the hammer down.
-
Their coaches lost their jobs for just paying the expenses of a poor family.
-
They go in some place where an athlete has barely got four walls around him.
-
I know, in refurio, when the, when the IK hit, or, excuse me, yeah, when Harvey hit the entire football season right there and a lot of the football team had to live under the stadium we're in the locker room and I know the school had to support them and had to, and I know the coach, out of his pocket probably helped a whole lot of students.
-
Why didn't he get fired, anyway?
-
So they changed all the rules and now these athletes, you know they can get paid for their likeness, say, if they've got a bunch of Facebook friends, and they can monetize their Facebook page and they can become sponsors.
-
Some of them have become sponsors.
-
They're making money because they were really five star prospects in high school and now they're able to make money in college.
-
I think that's right.
-
I mean, the colleges make millions of dollars of people like me watching the TV program, buying the products.
-
Why shouldn't the athletes make a little money?
-
Some of them have their careers ended and they don't get to go to Pro Ball because they get their knees wrecked or their head busted open right.
-
So they got to make money, and so now also, the other thing is that now they have a portal.
-
Beam me up, scotty.
-
So now they have a portal.
-
And so if you're let's just say you're the quarterback for A&M, carl Zotta was the starter all year.
-
He came in because the first guy wrecked his knee, so he started in the first game of the year, went all the way through the gear and he's left A&M.
-
He got in the portal and says bye-bye, cause he figured his chances weren't real great to continue that.
-
So he wants to go someplace else.
-
Now he can and he's not losing one day of eligibility.
-
So, before you feel too sorry for the Aggies, they lost to LSU a couple of weeks ago and their quarterback is moving to A&M.
-
Well, I like the portal.
-
I mean, you know, beam me up, scotty, take me to a winter.
-
Take me to somebody you know.
-
Lsu lost their coach.
-
They're going to be rebuilding, and so he's.
-
He's got just a few minutes.
-
See, he's going to become a game changer for A&M.
-
Well, we've got the game changer.
-
It's God's word.
-
It was sent.
-
It was sent to us to make a huge difference.
-
How many of you know it made a huge difference in your lives.
-
Oh, ready, god.
-
God's word, the ultimate game changer, I mean God's word will change your circumstance.
-
God's word in your mouth will do the same thing as it does in God's word.
-
That God's word does in God's mouth.
-
That's the definition of confession.
-
You've all heard of confessing the word.
-
The word confession means to say the same thing as when we say the same thing as God says, when we think the same way God thinks.
-
Let me tell you something when things start changing, you don't have to put up with the circumstances that have come against you, whether they, whether there's sickness and disease, whether it's a bad marriage, whether it's poverty and lack, not having you know too much month at the end of the money.
-
Don't look at me so innocent.
-
I tell you, I've lived that out.
-
I know what that's like, glad it's.
-
My entire family says yes, amen.
-
So God's word will prosper wherever it is sent, just like rain.
-
You know you.
-
You know they talk about how terrible the earth is and how oh, it's just just the global warming is destroying the planet.
-
And it's just oh, we're so crowded.
-
See, they live in a bubble.
-
These are people living in New York City.
-
I can imagine if you thought the entire world was like New York City, you'd probably be kind of a little bit upset.
-
But it's not like New York City.
-
I've flown all over the world and you know, when I look down there, ain't nobody, ain't nobody down there.
-
You can't find them.
-
You fly over the Pacific or the Atlantic, you can't find a ship.
-
You can't.
-
There's no ships out there.
-
There's very, very few.
-
They're all huddled around around Los Angeles waiting to get unloaded because of the latest thing they're talking about Omicron or whatever it's called.
-
They just get ready.
-
They've got a whole string of names they're going to release every few months.
-
I mean you're going to have an endless supply of vaccines and boosters and none of them are going to work.
-
All of them are experimental.
-
Amen.
-
So that's why we need God's Word.
-
Listen, god's Word will prosper in the thing we're to it, it's in when I look down, when I'm flying over the earth, I mean, look at the we call.
-
You know they call the earth the blue planet.
-
You know, looking back at the earth from outer space, it's gorgeous.
-
I mean you can't tell there's any problem.
-
You can't tell there's global warming is destroying the environment.
-
Oh, my God, there's plastic in the ocean.
-
The straws are destroying the Pacific Ocean.
-
Well, that may be true.
-
Right there in LA, right there on the shoreline, if you get out a few miles, you ain't going to see no plastic.
-
It's so silly.
-
Oh, thank God, we have the Word.
-
The Word is the ultimate game changer.
-
You know, you don't have to do the work, god.
-
God's Word does the work.
-
I said God's Word does the work.
-
We do the believing and he does the performing.
-
It's just amazing.
-
I mean, if we just, if we just really understood.
-
And that's why I keep preaching this, I preach it over and over again.
-
Why?
-
Because we need to hear it over and over again.
-
I like to watch dateline murder mystery.
-
Sometimes I like to watch, and I was watching one where the crime, the murder, happened in 1978.
-
18 year old girl was stabbed to death in her car, blood everywhere, horrible crime.
-
They couldn't solve it.
-
1978 to 2018, I think was the date of this program 40, what is that?
-
40 years?
-
40 years and they hadn't.
-
They hadn't found the killer.
-
All this blood evidence, all the evidence in the car, and of course, they didn't have DNA back in 1977.
-
So along the way they started searching and searching and they didn't come up with anybody.
-
They couldn't come up with anyone.
-
It's too long a story to go into the detail, but basically they found the one man whose DNA matched the.
-
It was amazing.
-
It had to be God.
-
It had to be God helping law enforcement because you're talking about one person out of 300 million people to find that person.
-
And they did.
-
They found the man.
-
He was there in the mall where that girl had been.
-
No question about it.
-
He's guilty as sin, but they had no other evidence.
-
They don't have a weapon, they don't have his.
-
They don't, they don't, they can't place him at the crime scene, but he got convicted.
-
Now whether he stays convicted that's another matter, but anyway.
-
So the sister of the victim Now you know she's retired, you know she's in her seventies, she's all kind of, and her baby sister was 18.
-
So she's been believing, you know, and parents are dead now.
-
They died not knowing what happened to the daughter, except that she's died and murdered.
-
And so she said I'm a teacher and the big thing about this case I'm very concerned about is will the jury be able to understand the DNA evidence?
-
Because as a teacher, I know that you've got to go over material over and over and over again, otherwise you're not going to get it.
-
And I'm concerned that when they hear the voluminous, how detailed this DNA is and why this is you know, why this is so accurate, and so forth, and so on, they're not going to understand it.
-
And so therefore, since that's the whole cornerstone of the case, I'm very concerned that they won't convict.
-
Well, they were out three hours and they convicted the guy.
-
So they either didn't care, they either made up their mind on other reasons or whatever I don't know, but they'd convicted him.
-
But what was striking is that this woman made my point.
-
For me, I mean, you've got to hear things over and over and over again.
-
Faith does come by having heard.
-
It comes by hearing and hearing and hearing over and over again.
-
And if ever we lived in a time when we've got to have God's Word, the ultimate game changer.
-
We've got to have it working for us.
-
God's Word has to work for you.
-
Are you going to be under the heel of the devil, even though Jesus paid for a lot better result?
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So God's Word does the work, and it's both seed and water.
-
See, that's the thing about God's Word it's both seed and water.
-
Let's just suppose that you've heard something over and over like this message about the Word.
-
Pastor, you just preach the version of this.
-
I know, and I'm going to keep preaching a version of this.
-
I'm going to preach it and preach it, and preach it.
-
Oh Jesus come.
-
He came the first time so he could come the second time.
-
He's coming the second time and I want to make sure that when he comes he finds faith on the earth.
-
Amen, that's what he asked.
-
He said when the Son of man cometh, will he find faith?
-
He asked that question.
-
It's an open question and when I look at how the church at large handled this crisis of COVID and all the other stuff, I wonder.
-
It makes me wonder how many churches are going to be around and they've given up the Word.
-
They gave up on the Word.
-
Don't ever give up on the Word.
-
Never give up on the Word.
-
God doesn't give up on the Word.
-
Jeremiah 1.12 says he hastens his Word to perform it.
-
The Word hastened.
-
There is another version he watches over his Word to perform it.
-
See again, we do the believing, he does the performing.
-
We don't have to work at this.
-
We don't have to.
-
You know, we have our part to play, but he does the heavy lifting.
-
It's the Word that does the work.
-
It's both seed and water.
-
So if you've heard something over and over again, another thing that happens is you don't know everything, and what you don't know, you don't know.
-
You don't know it.
-
And all of a sudden seed comes and you've heard something over and over again and all of a sudden seed is broadcast into you and you say, oh, I never saw it like that before.
-
Has that ever happened to you?
-
It still happens to me on a regular basis.
-
I'll read my Bible and I'll think, oh, I never saw that, I never saw it.
-
But suddenly that Word becomes seed and not just water.
-
And all of a sudden, now you've got seed and water getting mixed up.
-
You know, amen, you're going to have a crop.
-
Amen, you're going to have what God wanted you to have if you'll mix faith with what you hear.
-
So God's Word cannot fail.
-
It will not.
-
It will not return unto him void, but it will accomplish.
-
It will accomplish that which he pleases, amen.
-
So I mean God's own integrity.
-
Do you believe God tells the truth?
-
I like numbers where it says God's not a man that he should lie, nor the Son of man that he should repent.
-
If he said it, he'll do it.
-
If he spoke it, he'll make it good.
-
I mean, you can listen.
-
If you don't settle the integrity of God's Word, that it's above your own understanding, it's above what you eyes can see and your ears are hearing, it's above all of that.
-
And when you settle that the Word of God is final authority on anything and everything, then you're way down the road to victory in whatever situation you're facing.
-
You know there was a guy Brother Hagin talks about in the East Texas oil boom and back then most guys that were in the oil business were wildcatters because they didn't have a whole lot of science.
-
Geology was kind of in its infancy, and so they just punched a hole in the ground and hoped for the best.
-
And there were some signs.
-
You know you can kind of tell in some place like Pennsylvania oil would seep up into the ground, and so there were places, there were oil fields like that, that had so much oil under the surface that it was on the surface of the ground.
-
So you can kind of tell there was something there.
-
But for the most part you just kind of punch a hole in the ground.
-
And of course, when you punch a hole in the ground you spend a lot of money.
-
This guy spent a million dollars on his first well and came up with a dry hole, and so he's man, a million dollars in the 30s.
-
I mean that's like a trillion dollars today.
-
I mean, you know, it's a million dollars in the 30s, oh, my God, it's a lot of money and so.
-
But he wouldn't give up, and so he went to the bank and he must have been a great salesman because he got a bank to loan him the money To drill his next.
-
Oh, I know it's there, I know it's there.
-
And they're greedy too, especially in the 30s.
-
You know, a lot of them are closing right.
-
I mean, remember, you know, you, you didn't live through it, but you heard about it, and so the Great Depression.
-
So so they loaned him the money to drill a second well and and, and I mean he had to ignore, he had to ignore all the signs everybody was was talking about he had.
-
He didn't give up on the idea.
-
That my point was, he Didn't give up on the idea that there was oil and in that grand he was going to find it.
-
He did not give up.
-
I Said he did not give up.
-
Would you have given up after a million dollars went away and Then you go borrow money that you don't have, that you've got to pay back.
-
Man, I mean that's he had to be convinced there.
-
Shouldn't we be more convinced that God told us the truth?
-
I mean, shouldn't we have more faith in what he said than what, what we can see?
-
He didn't give up, and so that second well produced for him and he tapped into the edge of a giant underground reservoir of oil, which later, you know, a lot of other people drilled wells and there was a east Texas oil boom, you know, and just Up around Kilgore and up in there I've been up there, I've seen the museum.
-
They built a museum up.
-
You know About all of it, what happened up there and then when that happened, when that played out, they drilled all the wells.
-
They say that it happened in humble first and umbil, you could walk from Derek to Derek and humble and that's my grandfather worked in that oil field and and then it moved up around Kilgore.
-
And then after that, after the next big move, was down in refurio, victoria, south Texas, big oil move, big big oil play.
-
They discovered these pools, these reservoirs of oil.
-
What God has laid up, the goodness for us.
-
I'm telling you, all we've got to do is not give up.
-
Let's keep believing in speaking God's word.
-
It's the ultimate game changer.
-
So I want to have you go turn to Proverbs, chapter 4, and give you three things today on how to employ the Word of God.
Proverbs 4 chapter mention
-
Again, it's not brand new.
-
You've heard it before, preached it a lot of different ways.
-
But we need this information For those things used to say we don't need so much inspiration as we need information.
-
I Think inspiration is good.
-
I like preaching.
-
I like you know, stem winding, cotton spitting, preaching is a lot of fun.
-
We get all hit, hyped up, we can all run around the church.
-
But if we don't know why we're running around the church, it doesn't do a whole lot of good.
-
We're still as broke as we were before.
-
Maybe it?
-
No, let's, let's find out why.
-
All right, proverb, chapter 4, verse 20 my son or my daughter attend to my words.
-
Attend to my words, incline thine ear unto my sayings.
-
Let them not depart from thine eyes but keep them in the midst of thine heart, for they, that is, my words, are life unto those that find them, and Health.
-
My margin says medicine, medicine to all their flesh.
-
So, out of these verses, I have three things that we just need to keep in mind in order to employ God's word.
-
The ultimate game changer.
-
Number one is attend to God's word, in other words, pay attention.
-
Don't neglect the word.
-
Don't neglect it.
-
Well, what do you mean?
-
I?
-
Well, if you don't ever read your Bible, then you're neglecting the word, because that's the main communication.
-
You talk about portals.
-
A portal is a gateway, it's a connector.
-
When you, when you separate yourself from reading the Bible I know what it says.
-
I've been reading the Bible for it.
-
Well, you didn't read it today.
-
So you've cut yourself off today for what God may have had for you.
-
He may have had, he may have wanted to shine some light on this word that you don't even know, you don't know, and that may be the key to the circumstance that you've got, that you've been facing, you've been praying against it, you've been standing against it lie, and it's still standing there.
-
Listen, we can't be lackadaisical about this word.
-
We've got to, we've got to stay in it.
-
Read it, read it.
-
Well, I just don't have to.
-
Well, make time.
-
Amen.
-
I know I sound like a broken record, but I still.
-
I mean, people want a meeting and talk about their problem and I find out.
-
Well, do you read your Bible?
-
Well, no, I mean, there's absolutely a cause and effect.
-
That's right, because the devil knows you don't have any ammo in your gun.
-
Can you imagine going out on the battlefield?
-
You've got an AR, you got an AR man, it's got all the stuff on it, but there ain't no ammo.
-
What good is it?
-
Well, I guess you could swing it at.
-
You know, get close enough to him and swing it.
-
You know, take a swing at him, but that's not what the gun was designed to do.
-
Probably other guns that are better for that than the AR.
-
No, you need some.
-
What ammo?
-
This is what you have.
-
The word of God.
-
See God's word, the Ramah word, is the sword of the spirit.
-
It's ammo, I mean you've got to attend to it, you've got to find it.
-
It's health or medicine to those that find it.
-
You mean it's hidden.
-
No, it's not hidden from you, it's hidden for you.
-
It's not laying on top of the ground easy.
-
You've got to dig, you've got to dig, just like you dig for gold, just like anything that's worth anything.
-
It takes some investigating, it takes some effort and that's the effort on your part.
-
It's not that hard really, to be honest with you, reading your Bible is not that hard.
-
Putting it down and praying and saying thank God for this word, lord, thank you for this.
-
If there's anything about these passages you want to show me, I've got both ears and both eyes open.
-
I'm attending to your word, lord.
-
Now I like to pray the word while I'm reading it.
-
So, attend you, put everything else out and put God's word into you.
-
See, when you meditate, you think and turn it over in your mind.
-
Meditate means to cogitate, means to mutter, it means to just say it over and over to yourself in different ways and you just, and it gets, it registers in your spirit.
-
See, that's where the word has got to get out of there into here.
-
How does it happen?
-
Well, it takes some effort.
-
It takes some amount of dedication on your part.
-
Faithfulness Well, I just don't have time.
-
Yes, you do.
-
You have time?
-
Quit saying that.
-
You're saying the wrong thing.
-
Do you have time to live?
-
Do you have time to have plenty of money?
-
Do you have time to?
-
How hard do we work to just have the money to pay the bills?
-
We work real hard, most of us.
-
We travel, we commute back and forth.
-
I mean you add up all the hours it takes for you just to get money.
-
What if you just put a little bit of time in to read your Bible and God shows you some things that can?
-
I mean, he's not against you being rich, he's against you being covetous, and most covetous people are poor people.
-
Just look at what they're doing out there.
-
That's what they're making poor people covetous of rich people.
-
This is the silliness that they're selling.
-
Attend to the Word, put it into you and tell it registers in your spirit, because faith is of the heart.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Y'all are looking at me.
-
Is that kind of funny?
-
Are you getting it?
-
Everybody say amen, sir.
-
All right there you go, all right.
-
So you ask yourself again the question what does God's Word say about this situation?
-
Then you go find that Word, find it, go find it.
-
Where does it say that?
-
I mean, sometimes I'll get a verse and I don't remember where it is.
-
So I've got to.
-
You know, I've got a type.
-
I used to have a better concordance on my computer than I have now.
-
I don't know whatever happened to it.
-
It might have been before Apple.
-
Now I have Apple and so my concordance that I have available to me is not as good as what I had before.
-
But what I had before would tell you how many times in the Bible a certain word was.
-
I don't even have that anymore, which I'm aggravated.
-
The only place I have that is in that big old concordance that weighs about 30 pounds and the print is so tiny that I don't need glasses.
-
But when I read that I got to put my glasses back on.
-
I'm saying I'm reading just fine without glasses up here, but when I read that book I got to have glasses, need a magnifying glass.
-
But I have to look it up sometimes I have to go find it, and then when I find it, you know I.
-
Just then I begin to say, okay, this is my answer, this is what God's perspective is on my situation, this is his perspective, this is his perspective over to God, and so it'll get you out of a habit of begging God for things that he's already given you.
-
We get into under pressure, we get in emergencies, we feel like time is running out, whether it's physically, like health wise.
-
The doctor said this, the test said that.
-
The CPA said this the consumer price index is 9.6% inflation.
-
I've got to do something.
-
Oh, my goodness, my investment.
-
It just lost 10%.
-
If that's you, if you've got a fixed amount of money sitting in the bank account, you just lost 10% of it Since Biden took over, are you not?
-
You don't want to hear about politics in church anymore, and when it's costing you 10% of your wealth, then it just disappeared because they've printed a whole bunch more money since you earned it.
-
And if you think you can keep up with it, you got another thing coming that's not there.
-
Their plan is for you not to be able to keep up with it.
-
So how are you gonna keep up with it?
-
How are you gonna exceed it?
-
If you got time, then for this, you got time for this word, amen.
-
You got time to go vote Amen.
-
I still get people say I don't like all the politics.
-
Well, I don't like it either, but it's a fact.
-
We have to deal with it.
-
We have to confront it.
-
So what does God see?
-
Quit begging for things that God already gave you.
-
When you get this word in you, like rain falling out of the sky, like snow from heaven, it's gonna water you, it's gonna plant you, it's gonna come up in you.
-
Revelation is gonna come up in you.
-
And all of a sudden you're gonna know things you didn't know previously.
-
And when you know those things, what do you do?
-
Well, you immediately put in the sickle.
-
Wouldn't it be silly if you had a whole 5,000 acres of wheat and you said I don't know what to do with all that wheat, like God, and you just let it go down, let it just rot.
-
No, you go harvest.
-
It takes a little, you know, takes a little time to harvest what you know.
-
In other words, put it into action.
-
Put it into action.
-
So, whether it's healing, whether it's deliverance, whether it's financial supply, except God's word on the situation is truth, and start speaking.
-
Agree with it, don't work against it.
-
Speak and agree with it, amen.
-
So attend and don't neglect Number two he said incline your ear to his sayings.
-
I don't know if you remember the old EF Hutton commercial, but you know he's.
-
It's a big Wall Street investment firm and so they used to have this funny commercial.
-
It's kind of funny and people would be sitting at tables in a restaurant and EF Hutton is at one table and everybody's leaning over to try to hear what EF Hutton is saying.
-
So they all lean like this and put their hand to see.
-
When EF Hutton speaks people listen and so they would all lean.
-
See, we need to lean into what God is saying.
-
We need, we need to get rid of what man is saying.
-
We need to get rid and quit.
-
Quit putting doctors up on a pedestal.
-
Quit.
-
Quit putting the tax attorney up on the pedestal.
-
Quit putting the you know the newspaper, I mean.
-
Forget about the news, forget about that.
-
Most of it's fake news.
-
Even Fox News is fake news, most of it.
-
Yeah, there's a, there's a kernel here and there.
-
If I'm stepping on your toes, I'm sorry, but hey, look, let's get into.
-
If you've got time to do all of that, you've got more time.
-
This is the best place to be right here in the word Attend, incline.
-
Let's not incline to everybody else.
-
Let's not keep listening to naysayers.
-
There's a lot of people saying things right now to you that you know it affects you.
-
Quit listening to them, quit seeking their company.
-
There's some people you can't avoid.
-
I mean they may be coworkers, they may be your boss and so forth.
-
Some there's something might be your family.
-
You can't totally avoid them, but you can quit leaning into what they're saying.
-
I mean, just turn it off.
-
Somebody starts blabba, blabba, blabba.
-
There's a talking up a storm and saying things that are counter to what I'm believing.
-
I mean, you know I'll find some way to get out of their presence or I'll just.
-
You know they'll finally figure out by my body language that I'm not even.
-
I'm in another world.
-
I just drifted away from there, from them.
-
Well, that's rude.
-
Well, I don't try to intentionally be rude, but I'm not going to let them corrupt my crop.
-
Would you let bowl weevils live in your cotton?
-
You're going to get rid of the bowl weevils, aren't you?
-
Some of you don't know what those are.
-
All right, they're a little bug.
-
So don't let this world have the final say.
-
Attend to God's word incline, see, not not recline.
-
Incline, incline, you're here.
-
In other words, lean into what he's saying, that speaks of priority, that speaks of exclusivity.
-
You know, you're, you're, you're making a choice.
-
Now I'm not listening to this world's garbage, I'm leaning into what is God saying.
-
And then, finally, the third one is keep the word before your eyes.
-
He said.
-
Let them not depart from thine eyes.
-
I like to say it this way Try it on.
-
Try on what it is that you're believing for, just like you'd try on a coat, just like you try on clothing, try on shoes.
-
You try it on right.
-
I mean, you wouldn't?
-
You know, it's usually not a great idea to buy clothes, sight unseen shoes, especially shoes.
-
You almost have to try on a pair of shoes If you buy them and then you get them and they're too small or they're too big, and then it's a hassle to get, you know.
-
So you try them on.
-
So try on what it is that you're believing for.
-
See yourself with the result that you desire.
-
Make it a little clearer.
-
See yourself, you know, right now I'm seeing myself with millions of dollars Because ever since I got saved, I got hooked up with the transfer of wealth.
-
I've always believed it's as far for 40 plus years, ever since I got saved.
-
I've tested it out.
-
I've gotten scriptural evidence that it's true.
-
I don't see anything with my eyes, I don't see here anything with my ears, but I believe that there's coming a transfer of wealth from the hands of the wicked into the hands of the righteous, and because of the seed that we've sown, not just as the church but Gladys and I individually, I see myself with millions of dollars.
-
I think about it a lot.
-
Oh, pastor, what are you going to do?
-
Get the power ball?
-
No, I, you know.
-
If you want to do that, that's fine, but I'm not a lottery guy.
-
If you play the lottery, just make sure you're tied when you win.
-
Okay, I'm not going to judge you.
-
But no, that's not what I'm believing.
-
I'm believing for an influx, I'm believing.
-
I think about it a lot.
-
I think about how is that going to affect me?
-
Multiple millions of dollars.
-
What am I going to do with it?
-
First, what's my priority?
-
I think about.
-
You know, that'll give me an opportunity to give 90% and keep 10%.
-
Wouldn't that be?
-
I mean, wouldn't it be something if you gave 90% and kept 10% and the 10% was so much.
-
That's how I think.
-
Well, pastor, that's just pie in the sky.
-
Yeah, you want some of my pie.
-
It's right here.
-
This is the pie that I eat.
-
I eat this pie.
-
It's better than coconut cream, it's better than pecan pie, better than pumpkin pie, for sure, uh-oh, I'm getting people really love pumpkin pie, so to me it's a vegetable, all right.
-
So let's not talk about minced meat pie, okay, mmm.
-
See yourself with what it is you desire.
-
See yourself with it.
-
See yourself, see yourself in a marriage free of conflict, filled with trust for your spouse.
-
See yourself healthy and strong, full of stamina and energy.
-
See yourself that way and start thinking how is it going to impact me?
-
What would it?
-
What would look different about my life?
-
So Brother Hagin talks about hearing about this woman evangelist.
-
Uh, you know Pentecostals.
-
They believed in women preachers.
-
Thank God for women preachers, because they, they employed them.
-
I mean, most of the little churches all across this country were started by women Pentecostal and they weren't evangelists really, they were apostles.
-
That's what they were.
-
Because you've got to have an anointing on your life, to where you go, into a little town or a big town, wherever, and you start a work up and you stay there and pastor it for a couple of years and then you raise up leadership and you hand it off and that church is still there fifty, sixty years later.
-
That is an apostolic work by a woman, sdss.
-
So don't tell me about women preachers.
-
Baptists are just, ah, women preachers.
-
Wow, my God, maybe they needed more women preachers Wouldn't be in the mess they're in now.
-
They traded women preachers for boards of demons, boards of deacons, but anyway, getting on.
-
So this woman had done a great work.
-
I mean, she was just had an excellent ministry.
-
He had heard of her, didn't know her and she had had cancer for two years, was bedridden near death and she's in the town where he's preaching.
-
And someone said would you please go by and minister to her?
-
And so he did.
-
He went by and he prays, said Lord, what am I gonna give her?
-
What am I gonna do with her?
-
So he didn't just walk in the door and lay hands on her and leave.
-
In fact, he never did pray for her and he never did lay hands on her.
-
The Holy Ghost gave him Proverbs 4, 20 through 22.
-
Give her the word, the ultimate game changer.
-
Give her the word.
-
He could have said well, she knows that she started all these churches, she's been in the ministry for 50 years.
-
I mean, she knows that.
-
No, give her Proverbs 4, 20 through 22.
-
So he went in and she's been sick like this for two years.
-
She's skin and bones, except for her stomach.
-
She looked pregnant.
-
In fact she looked more than pregnant, because the tumors had grown so much that her stomach had swelled way up and she couldn't see her feet laying flat on the bed.
-
I mean, all she can see is Mount Rushmore Tumors, cancer, tumors, cancer, tumors, tumors.
-
We're gonna kill you.
-
You haven't got.
-
We got you where we want you.
-
Nothing you can do.
-
Brother Hagin didn't lay hands on her, he didn't pray for her.
-
He said, sister, I just have to give you what God gave me.
-
He gave me Proverbs 4, 20 through 22.
-
He said, he said I want you to see yourself.
-
Well, every time you look at that stomach, I want you to see it flat, see.
-
In other words, he's preaching the third point of this message.
-
He's talking to her and saying see yourself.
-
With the answer, y'all are looking at me kind of weird.
-
But do you want what God bought and paid for through his son Jesus?
-
Do you want it, see yourself.
-
And he said I just have to tell you, see yourself, see that stomach flat and start making plans to preach again.
-
And with that he got up and left.
-
Well, 10 months went by and he was in another church in another city and he didn't come to these two.
-
He was out in the lobby of the church where he was preaching and he was at his book table getting it straightened up, getting it ready, you know, and he would often man the book table, you know, before the service.
-
And then after the summit, he did everything himself.
-
You know, his wife was staying home with the kids and so he was out there and these two women come in the door and one of them said, oh, brother Hagin, and ran across there and grabbed him and hugged him.
-
Well, he didn't like that.
-
I mean, that's not what he does, he doesn't hug women, you know.
-
And he said well, you don't remember me, do you?
-
And he said, well, no, ma'am, I guess I don't.
-
He said, well, I'm so and so, and you prayed for me 10 months ago.
-
And he said that's when we started having to dance all the way around the sanctuary.
-
I mean, we grabbed each other and we were hopping around the whole sanctuary when I realized it was her and she said let me tell you.
-
She said, you know, you left and I was disappointed that you didn't pray for me and you didn't lay hands on me.
-
You just, you gave me that word and I thought, well, you know, he gave me the word and I started looking at my stomach, just seeing it flat.
-
I would just lay there and I'd close my eyes and see that my stomach was flat.
-
And then, you know, a few days later, I said I called for somebody to bring me a calendar and I started filling out the calendar.
-
I said, well, I'm gonna give myself 90 days to get this.
-
You know, get strong enough to get out of this bed.
-
And she started filling in her calendar where she was gonna call and get places where she had been to go around and preach.
-
And she started filling in her calendar and she said that was 10 months ago.
-
She said I've been traveling full time.
-
I've been going everywhere.
-
I'm perfectly well, I'm perfectly.
-
Oh, come on, hallelujah, glory to God.
-
Every trace of that cancer left her body.
-
Oh, I tell you, god's word is the ultimate game changer.
-
Let's employ God's holy word.
-
Come on, lift your hands and receive today.
-
Hallelujah, whoo, hallelujah.
