-
please wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.
-
Let's get into the word together, say this together out loud.
-
Say Heavenly Father glad to be here tonight.
-
I have a teachable spirit.
-
My heart is open to hear things that I need to know so that I can accomplish what you've put me on earth to do.
-
I'm a doer, not just a hearer, of the Word of God.
-
In Jesus' name, amen.
-
Let's turn, please, to Acts, chapter one, and also Acts 10.
-
When I get into things sometimes I just been on the anointing now the last couple of weeks, and so tonight I want to dwell on some more.
-
How to release the anointing, how to release the anointing.
-
Acts, chapter one.
-
Jesus is speaking to his disciples right before he lifts off the planet.
-
Go to be at the right hand of the Father, and he said in verse eight but you shall receive power after that, the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and in Judea, samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth.
-
Notice it didn't say first and then.
-
It said both.
-
So he wanted them to have the power to be witnesses everywhere, not sequentially.
-
This is where how it worked out at first.
-
They started and they were a long, long, long time in Jerusalem before they went anywhere else.
-
But he told them you're going to receive power.
-
Everybody say power, all right.
-
And then Acts 10 38.
-
This is Peter preaching to Cornelius' house, and Acts 10 38, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him.
-
So how to release the anointing?
-
You know, the miracles of Jesus came not because he was the Son of God.
-
Of course he was.
-
He was the Word, made flesh, dwelt among the Caesar, son of God, but he laid aside.
-
Bible teaches us that he laid aside his position, his deity, and took upon him the form of a servant.
-
He took upon him flesh.
-
The Bible says that he was tempted in all points, like as we are, yet without sin.
-
There are some teachers out there saying that he sinned.
-
Well, they're lying.
-
They don't know their Bible.
-
He was the sinless, spotless lamb of God.
-
Amen, there's no sin in him.
-
He was tempted, though.
-
He was tempted in all points, tempted in all points.
-
See, I just believe the Bible.
-
I, you know that's.
-
That's bottom line.
-
And so the miracles came not because he was the Son of God, but they came as a as he functioned as a man anointed by God.
-
And so the father anointed Jesus of Nazareth with a Holy Ghost in power, and he went about doing.
-
He went about doing, and what were the results?
-
Well, people were healed and delivered.
-
So you can say then why?
-
Well, god was with him.
-
In other words, the anointing, the anointing, is God with him.
-
So there's three things about it Jesus went about, he went about.
-
And that he was he silent?
-
No, he communicated.
-
Remember in Luke 4, 18, he said you know, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he's anointed me to do what?
-
To preach the gospel.
-
And yeah, there's an anointing on other things, but primarily, the anointing is on your mouth, it's on your words.
-
That's why your words are so important, because they're dangerous when they're spoken hastily, when they're spoken with the wrong choice of words.
-
We have to be careful what we say, to make sure that that that we have sweet words, let's make them sweet.
-
We might have to eat them someday, amen.
-
So we got to be careful about our words and the anointing is associated with our mouth.
-
So we could say communication, everybody say communication.
-
So he went about then.
-
The second one was doing.
-
He was doing, doing what Doing good.
-
Primary way he healed people was by the laying on of hands Bible talks about.
-
He laid hands on all of them.
-
Man, that took must have taken a long time.
-
He had multitudes that he laid hands on.
-
I've been in crowd, big crowds.
-
I was in the crowd of 100,000 in India 1994, back past Rostead and our last trip that we took together before I started the church, and there was no possibility of laying hands on all those people.
-
Even if he had tried, he would have been mobbed, he would have been overtaken, kind of like what happened at Astor World.
-
I keep talking about that.
-
With such a tragedy, with that demonic singer, rapper, whatever he was, came to town and it was a rage.
-
That's what they call it, a rage.
-
They get together, they do drugs and they go crazy and 10 people died of compression, asphyxia, compression, asphyxia.
-
10 year old child whose father couldn't even save him.
-
He was on his father's shoulders and finally the father got in distress and dropped the child.
-
The child goes down and it took 30 minutes for some of them to die.
-
It was the most horrendous demonic.
-
In Jesus name, we will not allow that in Houston.
-
We won't allow it.
-
We're not allowing.
-
We're not allowing the authorities to allow, we're not allowing the authorities that were supposed to be watching out for this type of thing.
-
They all ought to be fired.
-
But anyway, I digress.
-
So Jesus went about and he did.
-
He laid hands on people, he communicated, he spoke, but he laid hands, he did something.
-
He did something so you could say he operated, so communicate.
-
Everybody say communication operation and then manifestation.
-
What manifestation?
-
Healing and deliverance.
-
In some cases they were fed.
-
The multitudes were fed twice.
-
Everybody say manifestation.
-
So the anointing came as a result of communication operation and then you got manifestation.
-
So he's our perfect example of how to release the anointing.
-
And so well, pastor, we're not Jesus, no, but we're the sons of God, like he was and we are men.
-
He gave himself as a pattern for the church to imitate.
-
Well, but I'm not a preacher.
-
Well, I don't care if you are a preacher, you're a believer, and believers are anointed.
-
Everybody say I'm anointed.
-
How many of you have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidence speaking the other time?
-
You're anointed.
-
You've got the anointing upon you.
-
Now, if you have not yet received that, you don't have the anointing upon you.
-
You have the anointing within you.
-
If you're saved, and that's for you, though, that anointing is real.
-
It's the Holy Spirit, it's the presence of God, it's on the inside of you, but that's the spirit of God for regeneration.
-
You know that's how you're saved, but it's not meant as a ministry tool.
-
You need the baptism, you need the Holy Ghost upon you.
-
I mean, if it hadn't been important, why did Jesus wait for the baptism himself?
-
He waited for the Holy Ghost to come upon him.
-
He didn't heal lambs and squirrels and birds when he was a boy.
-
How many of you know he was a son of God?
-
How many of you know he was alive to God?
-
But there were no miracles until after the Spirit of God came upon him at the age of 30.
-
That's when his miracle ministry started, and it started after he'd been tempted 40 days and 40 nights by the devil and the wilderness, and he overcame every temptation by what's saying it is written.
-
And then the Bible says he came in the power of the Spirit in the Galilean.
-
That's where his miracle ministry began, as a man anointed by the Holy Ghost, or God, was with him.
-
Well, how can we?
-
You know we have to be like that.
-
That's what we have, and when you receive the baptism, holy Ghost, it wasn't just so you could speak in tongues, it's so you could minister to people, so you could go about and communicate amen or minister, be another word for it Amen and you can operate, and you could have a manifestation, so we could say communication, operation, manifestation.
-
I want to teach you about how to release the anointing, because we are in the place right now where the church must begin to rise up and give what we've got.
-
How many of you know you've got something?
-
I stress this the last several services.
-
But I know I've got something.
-
I had to be convinced.
-
I had to know this.
-
I got a hold of this 40 plus years ago at Lakewood church, when I discovered that I had something.
-
And it was undeniable that I had something.
-
And once I knew that I had something, I had to do something with it.
-
I couldn't just act like I didn't have what I had.
-
Are you with me now?
-
And yet a lot of folks are just.
-
You know, they just.
-
They know it in one level, but they're not moved enough to move out of their comfort zone and release the anointing For the benefit of a lost and dying world.
-
I mean, people out there need what you've got.
-
Some people you're the only, you're the only vessel really appropriate for some people.
-
Some of you are saying, yeah, I think I'm getting this.
-
I hope you are, and I want to put in you this, this idea that it's not all up to the pastor or the preacher or some real holy person.
-
It's, it's up to each of us, members of the body of Christ.
-
Now for sure, we all have gifts differing.
-
We have different anointings, different specialties, but you know what All of us can minister healing, every single one of us, whether you have a particular gift of healing or not.
-
I've known people with a particular gift of healing where when they it just seems like they have a tendency, when they pray for certain sicknesses that they, they just have a more success in one area than another.
-
In my case, I have a more success with skin disease and backs, probably in my ministry, more success in those two areas and all the rest of them.
-
But not that I ever shy away from anything.
-
I don't shy away from praying for anybody that needs prayer.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I mean I've had deaf ears open.
-
I've had.
-
I mean, I I've seen the most amazing things when I've laid hands on the sick.
-
Well, yeah, pastors, you're a pastor, you're your daughter.
-
Well, I realized that.
-
And there's another, there's a gift, there's a gift on my life, a ministry gift like that.
-
But I was doing that before I was ever in the ministry.
-
I was doing that before I was ever ordained into the ministry.
-
Are you with me now?
-
All right, so the anointing, releasing the anointing.
-
So, since we're sons of God and we've been baptized most of us in the Holy Ghost, we've been, we have received power now and so we could say, like Jesus, that when we go about we're, we're able to do good because God is with us.
-
I mean, you know, when you get in your car and drive across town, the Holy Ghost doesn't stay at home Watching soap operas until you get back home, that he's with you everywhere you go.
-
So he's with you to do what he's with you to help you bring someone a manifestation that they need.
-
Are y'all with me now Talking about how to release the anointing?
-
So, because we're sons of God, then we're anointed.
-
Everybody say I am anointed.
-
See, by definition, that's what.
-
That's what Jesus said After you shall receive power, you shall become anointed after the Holy Ghost comes upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me.
-
You shall be witnesses.
-
So what is a witness?
-
Somebody that stands in the, in the, in the witness chair and testifies of what they know.
-
A witness with evidence.
-
And when you're communicating with people and then you did then you meet their need for healing or or freedom or deliverance or whatever it is that they have need of, then they know.
-
Now that you know what you're talking about Gives you what Credibility.
-
How many of you need credibility?
-
Do we need credibility out there?
-
People are suspicious, amen.
-
So everybody say I am anointed, everybody.
-
That's communication or we could say ministry, same thing, because it's really your anointing's on your words, what you're saying, what you're speaking.
-
Sometimes we can be too overbearing with our words.
-
Let's learn to sprinkle.
-
Don't hit people with a fire hose.
-
If you go directly to people and you just start preaching a fire storm and you know spitting cotton and you know a lot of times people just back up.
-
I know as a little Catholic boy I couldn't stand to be around people that knew the Bible because I didn't know nothing about the Bible and I felt very intimidated.
-
How many Catholics are.
-
I see some Catholics, ex-catholics, bobbleheading yeah, you feeling intimidated, you don't like to hear about the Bible because you know you don't know anything about it.
-
And I felt at a disadvantage and I felt like, oh, they're gonna take advantage of me and try to convert me to be a Baptist.
-
And that's my worst nightmare, because my wife is Baptist.
-
I know what.
-
I've been to church with her and I decided I'd never go again because I heard Hellfire and Brimstone and I knew I was headed there and I didn't want to hear about it.
-
So everybody say I am anointed, everybody say I will do.
-
Say doing is the communication, it's the laying hands, it's the casting out, it's helping, it's pulling money out of your purse or out of your pocket and helping somebody that needs help.
-
That's doing.
-
Jesus didn't exactly do it that way.
-
What he did?
-
He just multiplied the loaves and the fishes Fed 20,000 people one time in, 16,000 people the next time.
-
That's a whole lot of money.
-
Jesus told Peter.
-
He said go fishing and take the gold coin out of the first fishes, the first fishes amount.
-
So in other words, peter went fishing.
-
He didn't just catch one fish, he caught a boatload of fish and paid his taxes and Jesus' taxes, so he knew how to give amen.
-
He had a lot of money.
-
He had a treasure.
-
Judas was his treasure, kept the bag.
-
He was a wealthy preacher, full time support of 70, at one time 70, full time preachers were under his care and their family.
-
I heard some doofus the other day talking about how Jesus called the apostles and they left their families destitute.
-
Yeah, what a fool.
-
You lying about my Jesus.
-
Oh, I wanted to.
-
I wanted to get somewhere where I could confront Him.
-
How dare you lie like that?
-
Where do you get that garbage?
-
Jesus would never have called the apostles and said, okay, leave your wife and kids and let them starve to death.
-
No, he had a treasure.
-
He took care of the families of the apostles.
-
He's not cheaty.
-
They don't know the Jesus, I know.
-
So everybody say I'm anointed, I will do.
-
See what ministry.
-
You're gonna lay hands on people, cast out the devil.
-
You're gonna prosper people.
-
You're gonna operate.
-
In other words, you're gonna operate under the anointing.
-
You're gonna help people actively, help them.
-
And then, lastly, everybody say people will benefit because God is with me.
-
See, that's manifestation.
-
You're doing it not to show off, you're doing it for the benefit of the person that God puts in your pathway.
-
You know the anointing and faith are linked.
-
The anointing and faith are linked.
-
Without faith, bible says in Hebrews.
-
It says it's impossible to please God.
-
Faith always acts or faith always does.
-
See, doing, he went about doing.
-
He did, he was always acting in faith toward people.
-
He was always.
-
You know, lord, if you can, if you will, you can make me clean.
-
I will See doing.
-
I will Put his hand out to a leper.
-
He didn't socially distance, he didn't put protection on his, he didn't put a plastic glove on.
-
I will be thou cleansed.
-
So faith always acts or faith always does.
-
Doubt always hesitates.
-
Doubt always finds an excuse not to act.
-
So if we're inactive, we've got to bring our inactivity into a place of victory.
-
We've got to stir ourselves up not to be like that.
-
I mean, that's the comfort zone, that's being in the boat with the 11.
-
You know, one got over the side.
-
Peter went over the side and walked on the water.
-
The other 11 knew what he knew.
-
They knew it was Jesus.
-
They heard Jesus say come and they decided nah, let's let Peter do that.
-
Let's check Peter out, let's see if Peter is successful first and Peter was successful for a few seconds, right, but they never risked a thing.
-
Why?
-
Because they're just, you know, they're used to Peter doing everything first.
-
Peter was a plunger.
-
Peter plunged ahead, peter, you know, he just, he seldom counted the cost, he just went, you know, like that.
-
He said things he shouldn't have said, but at least he got out there.
-
So inactivity, whatever waivers, whatever hesitates, whoever fears, instead of acting, or we could say, instead of having faith, that closes everything up, that stops the anointing, and it will not accomplish anything.
-
It just dries up, nothing happens, no results.
-
And here you are anointed.
-
Wow see, faith is a switch, and you heard me say this over and over, but usually I'm talking about receiving from the anointing.
-
Faith is a switch.
-
It turns on the anointing toward you and you.
-
You know when you're in the anointing and the presence of God.
-
You can get your healing if you get your faith.
-
Keep your faith, switch of faith turned on, even when you've got a bad report.
-
Keep the switch of faith on.
-
What do I mean by that?
-
Keep believing in your heart and speaking good with your mouth.
-
Doubt your doubts.
-
Believe your beliefs.
-
We live in a world full.
-
Jesus called the devil, the prince of the power of the air.
-
The entire air is saturated with demon powers Competing for your attention, trying to light a fire here, a lot of fire there, trying to incite someone to speak evil words, like we talked about Shirei, just someone whose tongue has been set on fire of hell.
-
You know, jude talked about that and sometimes these words can come at you and you're not prepared, and it can hurt, it can cause you, it can cause you.
-
See, we gotta be built up in the Holy Ghost, we gotta stay filled with the Holy Ghost all the time so we're immune from those attacks.
-
So what I'm saying is whatever waivers, whatever hesitates, whatever fears instead of having faith, or fears instead of doing, will stop the anointing.
-
It'll choke the anointing, stop it from moving.
-
And manifestation, then is not there no manifestation?
-
Isn't that what we're after?
-
Manifestation on behalf of somebody that needs our help.
-
Don't they need our help?
-
They don't know how to approach God.
-
See, we're kings and priests under God.
-
What is a priest?
-
A priest is a go-between.
-
A priest represents God to man and man to God.
-
We're kind of like that.
-
That's what Jesus called us.
-
He made us kings and priests unto God.
-
So we have that standing right now on earth.
-
Amen.
-
So faith is life, faith produces life.
-
Faith changes.
-
Life, changes life.
-
You know, I talked last week about different miracles that I'd seen, and I talked about a man named Ed Rogers and I told you the truth about how my attitude was is I didn't care a thing about him.
-
I didn't know who he was, didn't wanna find out who he was.
-
My wife and my mother both told me he had a migraine headache and I needed to go pray for him.
-
And I said why didn't you to myself, why didn't you pray for him?
-
You saw him, leave me alone.
-
Remember that.
-
See, so I?
-
That's not belief, that's unbelief, that's being carnal, that's being self-centered.
-
And as soon as I repented, god didn't punish me and say okay, I've got somebody else, I'm gonna use you scumbag.
-
No, thank God.
-
As soon as I repented, he used me in that man's life and that guy got healed.
-
Number one, that guy got saved.
-
Number two Think about what would have happened if I had just not turned around and drove 20 miles back to San Antonio.
-
Think about how that would have dogged my tracks, because I would have known I disobeyed God.
-
I would have known that for a long.
-
You know that sets people back a long time when you really disobey an opportunity like that.
-
So let's not do it.
-
Let's stir ourselves up to walk by faith and not by sight.
-
Your greatest enemy is flesh and natural reasoning.
-
That's what I had going against me that day.
-
My flesh, my natural reasoning, that's your enemy.
-
That will keep you from having a manifestation of God on behalf of somebody else.
-
Woo Glory to God.
-
Just think about the lives that can be changed Just through each of you, each of you, each of you.
-
Flesh and natural reasoning limit you to your own natural ability.
-
How much really can you help people?
-
You might give them a few dollars out of your pocket.
-
I see this all the time.
-
I see do gooders.
-
They have no anointing, they have good intentions, they wander around and they you know they give money to everybody that's standing on the street corner.
-
And what does that do?
-
Well, it just encourages panhandlers, because most of them are not needy.
-
Most of them wouldn't work for food.
-
Most of them I'm not saying all of them, but most of them are just not worthy of your money.
-
You should not be giving money out to this strangers unless you really have a witness of the Holy Ghost.
-
That's happened to me maybe twice in all the years.
-
You know, I was in India.
-
They have professional beggars and I was on my way to the venue to go preach and it's hot and they didn't have the air on.
-
So I rolled the window down, made a big mistake.
-
They stopped at a white and those beggars came in and their hands came inside the car and this one young woman she probably, I don't know, 15, six, I can't tell how old, but she had a deformed hand, she was missing some fingers and she had this baby where it was blind, in her arms bigging See, they're there to take your money.
-
They're there.
-
This is how they make a living, because they they're there to.
-
You don't have enough money.
-
You don't have enough money to that city, mumbai, 20 million people, three quarters of them are just like that.
-
You don't have enough money you could give to this one.
-
And then you're gonna cause what are you gonna call it?
-
You're gonna cause a riot.
-
You're gonna pastor, you sound so cold.
-
No, I'm just saying you've gotta have the Holy Ghost.
-
You can't go on a motion.
-
You cannot.
-
You can't afford to go on a motion.
-
That's natural.
-
You're limited to your natural resources.
-
Listen, god's got unlimited resources.
-
I said he's got unlimited resources.
-
So we gotta get out of the idea of being a do-gooder.
-
Let's be anointed of God.
-
See.
-
So when we look at circumstances, influences, problems, cares, tests, storms, infirmities, and every time we say I can't, what's happened?
-
Well, the anointing has come off of our words and now unbelief has come out our mouth and we are locked away from a manifestation of God.
-
God can't move.
-
Then You've already cut him off.
-
You said I can't, I can't, I can't is the language of doubt, it's the language of the flesh, it's a language of the five senses.
-
You gotta get rid of I can.
-
You gotta replace it with I can do, I can do.
-
I like what brother Osteen I mean.
-
I confess that every eight years, every service, three services a week, in fact four services a week when we had two services on Sunday morning.
-
So I went to four services a week at Lakewood for years and years, and years and I mean this is my Bible.
-
I am what it says.
-
I am, I can do, I'm a can do person, I can do, I can do what it says I can do.
-
You say that up to 100,000 times.
-
Now you're a can do person.
-
You don't have the language of doubt in your mouth.
-
Your mouth is speaking faith all the time.
-
I can do all things through Christ, philippians 413.
-
I can do all things through Christ, who strengtheneth me or who enables me, or who empowers me.
-
That's what strengthens means.
-
It means he empowered me.
-
There's that anointing word again.
-
The anointing means I can do all things.
-
Everybody say I can do all things through the anointing and you are anointed, aren't you?
-
Have you settled that yet?
-
See, some of us, you know you might settle it mentally, but you're gonna have to get it down in your spirit and you're gonna have to start acting on it.
-
When you start acting on it, that's what I, 40 plus years ago, I started acting on what I'm talking about here tonight and it changed my life, changed the life of a lot of other people too.
-
I'm not bragging, I'm just reporting Everybody that knew me before.
-
The guy that I talked about that used to make his own beer.
-
Lot of them drank it and then, just a little while later, here I am.
-
Something happened to Grindler.
-
What in the world happened to him?
-
And some of them were Christians.
-
They just weren't Spirit Field Christians and they respected, they saw me change.
-
They saw me change.
-
They saw my life change.
-
They saw me lay down alcohol.
-
They saw me living for God.
-
Are y'all with me?
-
Now?
-
Everybody say I can do all things through the anointing.
-
So let's look at Acts, chapter three.
-
Now I got a couple of things that we're gonna use.
-
This illustration with Peter and John who went to the gate beautiful Acts, chapter three, verse one Are you getting anything out of this?
-
Or you may have heard it before, but I mean sometimes we just need a refresher course here in a little different way.
-
My heart is for this present age, for this present world.
-
People are so discouraged Even people that know the Lord are discouraged and hopeless and they need a manifestation and you're just the person that can bring them on.
-
Now Peter and John went up together under the temple notice.
-
It said they went, they went, see.
-
That's one of the things that's necessary.
-
You have to go.
-
Well, we go all the time, don't we?
-
Do you go to work?
-
Yeah, do you go take your kids to school?
-
Some of you do.
-
Do you go to their games?
-
Yeah, I go there.
-
I go, see, we're going all the time.
-
In fact, we go so much.
-
Sometimes we meet ourselves coming and going, but we're going, we qualify, they went and where did they go?
-
They went up together to the temple in the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour, and a certain man lame from his mother's womb later on we find out he was above 40 years old, never had walked, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.
-
In other words, he was a registered beggar, registered with the temple so that your almsgiving could be fulfilled by giving him your alms.
-
Every Jew had to give alms tithes offerings, peace offerings, trespass offerings, all these different offerings and they had to give alms, which was for the poor, and he qualified.
-
If you gave him something, it qualified and you succeeded and you satisfied that requirement of your financial obligation.
-
So he was asking alms of them that entered into the temple.
-
He couldn't have done that without their permission and their blessing.
-
Everybody knew the man.
-
He was very I mean, you know after this.
-
I mean, how many years had he been laying out there?
-
Decades?
-
Everybody knew who he was.
-
Who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, ask alms hey, how about you guys?
-
Alms for the poor.
-
And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him, with John, said ministry.
-
The first.
-
He went.
-
Now he said Now see, he's in operation.
-
Now he's in ministry.
-
He said look on us.
-
And the man gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
-
Then Peter said again silver and gold, have I none, but such as I have, give I thee Notice he didn't preach to it.
-
Have you heard about Jesus?
-
Did you know that he was crucified not long ago?
-
He died for your sins, brother.
-
You know, in fact, he took your sickness upon him.
-
You know you can be healed right now.
-
He didn't preach a lick.
-
He did not share the gospel with him.
-
He said look on us.
-
Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, give I thee.
-
He had to know he was anointed, didn't he?
-
He had to know he had something to give him that was greater than money.
-
He didn't say he didn't have any money.
-
He said I don't have any money for you.
-
That's not what I'm here to do.
-
I'm here to change your life.
-
I'm here to render your status as lame, null and void.
-
You're not gonna need to beg anybody again.
-
And then you say all that, but that was what was in his heart in an instant of time.
-
When did it happen?
-
When he fastened his eyes on him and then, just like it comes rolling out of silver and gold, have I none, but such as I have, give I thee, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.
-
Still, see, he's still communicating.
-
He's still communicating.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Yes, sir, so communication.
-
Then the operation came when he gave a faith command in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.
-
That was his faith command.
-
And then Peter acted yet again and he grabbed him by the hand and jerked him up on his feet and immediately strength came into his ankle bones.
-
And the Bible says that he stood upon his feet, he leaped and walked.
-
He went walking and leaping, praising God, into the temple.
-
Later on you find out that it was a notable miracle, because the high muckity muck said we can't deny this miracle, because everybody knows this man, they know how long he's been out there, they know the miracles has occurred.
-
We can't deny it.
-
See, that's the definition of a notable miracle, one that is widely known and cannot be denied.
-
I believe God wants to use you to bring some notable miracles into Houston.
-
Houston needs some notable miracles.
-
Wouldn't it be a notable miracle if we got rid of Lena Hidalgo and I would consider that a miracle and the mayor?
-
But I digress.
-
Everybody say communication.
-
See, he fastened his eyes, you know, such as I have.
-
Give IV, see.
-
And then he said in the name of Jesus, that's a faith command, that's the, that's the, that's the command.
-
So he's got the, the, the second part, the operation.
-
Everybody say operation, say there's got to be an operation, there's got to be an operation of faith, there's got to be an operation.
-
It took, it took Peter's faith.
-
What's he going to do if he?
-
Oh man, I feel so sorry for you here's an extra 500 bucks, here's an extra thousand.
-
What's that going to do?
-
Not much.
-
It's not going to change his life.
-
What would change his life if he never had to beg again, if he could get up on his feet?
-
How can you never have walked?
-
You've never walked your 40, over 40 years old, you've never even walked.
-
And now you leap.
-
How, how could that happen?
-
How can you leap?
-
How do you know how to leap?
-
How do you know how to jump?
-
Talk about a miracle.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Everybody say operation.
-
So he had communication operation.
-
And then what happened?
-
Manifestation.
-
When he pulled him up on his feet instantly he was healed.
-
And Peter took an offering.
-
He said okay, y'all can support my minister.
-
Now take, make all the checks payable to Peter the evangelist, peter the apostle Peobuck, 77, jerusalem, israel.
-
I will send you back a prayer cloth.
-
No, I'm just kidding.
-
No, he gave all the glory to God.
-
He, in fact, in verse 17, it goes on and says, and he wants you to know that by the name of Jesus and faith in this name, this man stands before you whole.
-
So it was faith in the name of Jesus.
-
He used the name of Jesus.
-
You've got the name of Jesus just every bit as much as Peter did.
-
You have the right to use that name, are you?
-
Are you with me now?
-
Praise God.
-
We're all anointed as believers and, according to our differing ministries, different.
-
You know we all have different gifts.
-
There'll be some things that you God will have you do.
-
That may be a little different than your neighbor right next to you, but we all have this in common we can minister healing and deliverance to everybody.
-
It doesn't take a special gift of healing or a special gift of deliverance.
-
I've known people that said, oh hell, I have a deliverance ministry.
-
Well, whatever you know, most of the time people like that are kind of goofy.
-
In my experience I've had my share of people delivered from demon possession and and really not possession, but oppression is more the accurate word A demonized, a person possessed with a demon, is usually in a mental home.
-
So I've you know, I've only seen, I saw one little girl in India that was possessed and she was like a little wildcat.
-
She was four years old and she sounded and looked like a wildcat.
-
And we were in the middle of the huge crusade there in Nehru Stadium in in New Delhi and somebody just threw her up.
-
Just, they took her and just threw her up on the platform.
-
I just couldn't believe it.
-
Now this is a country that sacrifices their children to demons.
-
Put some in the Ganges River to try to say they'll do anything to try to get rid of their sin.
-
They're, they're sin conscious.
-
They don't know how to deal with it.
-
Their religion is evil.
-
All the religions they have are evil, it doesn't just any religion that you can think of.
-
And they boy, they need Jesus in India, but they, they've got Jesus in parts of it.
-
So you know, that's up to the church in India to take care of that.
-
We've done our part.
-
I've been there many, many times myself and we've spent a lot of money there.
-
But God just told me a few years ago concentrate on America.
-
America is in trouble.
-
You need to turn your attention.
-
And so that's what we've done.
-
Turn our attention Now.
-
We still have missions.
-
We, you know the Hankins, we support them heavily.
-
Others, we have missionaries in in the areas of Asia and the islands where Jesus has not been named.
-
These are the unreached people groups.
-
And so, yeah, we're putting money in their hands to reach the unreached people.
-
I mean, missions is important, but so is America.
-
America is important.
-
So God said I want you to turn your attention on America.
-
And so we're.
-
We're doing that and I tell you, america needs miracles, houston needs miracles.
-
Who's gonna do it?
-
You're gonna do it.
-
I'm stirring you up.
-
I want you to have a desire to put yourself out there, walk by faith, call yourself anointed, I mean, have confidence that you are in anointed and put pressure on that.
-
Anointing I mean put God in, put God in a position where he's gotta back you up.
-
Guess what he will.
-
I said he will, amen.
-
So let's lift our hands tonight and receive.
-
How to release the anoint.
-
Did you get anything out of this tonight?
-
Praise God, hallelujah, everybody, say out loud I'm gonna release the anointing more and more.
-
I don't care who the Holy Ghost separates me from or identifies me with.
-
I give honor to the anointing on my life at Jesus Day, amen.
