Pick up your Bibles, please, and lift them up, wave them around.
-
Let's get into the Word this morning.
-
Wave those Bibles around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.
-
Thank you, worship team.
-
Beautiful job.
-
They always set the table for us.
-
I tell you, I wouldn't even want to try to preach without the anointing, but the anointing is here.
-
Let's say this together.
-
Let's say Heavenly Father, I'm hungry and thirsty for more, more of your spirit, more of your presence, more of your glory, more revelation.
-
I want to know you as you are, and the only way I can know you is to know your Word.
-
Implant it in me so that my faith will grow in Jesus' name.
-
Amen, praise God, let's turn in our Bibles to Hebrews, the 11th chapter.
-
I don't know how many times I've preached out of this chapter, but it's one of my favorites.
-
I call it the Hall of Fame of Faith.
-
And let's hone in on one of these people that God chose to honor verse 7.
-
Hebrews 11, 7.
-
Thank you, all of you out there watching by live stream.
-
Wish you were here in person, but we're glad that you're at least there by faith.
-
Noah being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by the which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness, which is by faith.
-
And so I want to share a message entitled Staying Ready for Surprises.
-
Staying Ready for Surprises.
-
I want you to, right now, make an adjustment on your hearing.
-
Let's get up here, let's turn the knob on the side of your head.
-
Turn the knob and say I'm making adjustment, I'm listening to this message, not with fear, not with burdens, but I'm excited about what's ahead.
-
Amen, it's not going to sound that way for a while, but it's.
-
Listen, this is good news for us.
-
How many of you know it was good news for Noah and his house?
-
It was good news for two of all the animals, aren't you?
-
I mean, you know they were glad not to drown Two giraffes, man, we nearly we could have been in the flood, aren't you glad we survived Anyway.
-
So Noah is a man of faith, a man of righteousness, the Bible says, and he was warned, or that word warned means consulted, advised.
-
God had to advise, or wanted to advise, or consult his righteous man on earth.
-
You know, he could have done it.
-
He could have just, you know, told him to build an ark and didn't tell him the reason.
-
But when you read the story in Genesis, god discovered that the earth, earth had corrupted itself, that the imagination of every person's heart on earth was always evil.
-
Continually Sounds like the Democrats and about half the Republicans and the, and the earth was filled with violence.
-
Violence Hebrew word Hamas In that interesting.
-
We have a terrorist group named Hamas.
-
It's not Hebrew, it's whatever, it is Aramaic or whatever they're.
-
They're violent, aren't they?
-
I think we give them money.
-
Yeah, you know, biden gives all of our enemies money.
-
So he was advised.
-
He was warned God, god had he warned Abraham.
-
He said shall I hide from Abraham the thing that I do, seeing he's a righteous man, will command his children and his grandchildren to do the right thing.
-
I've got to consult him before I destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.
-
You know God is always consulting and advising his righteous people.
-
Why wouldn't he do the same with the church?
-
And I'm saying he has already?
-
We ought to be in the know.
-
There are not being any surprises.
-
We're ready for surprises.
-
So, by faith, it says that he diligently built the Ark and he preached the message of repentance with every swing of the hammer and every draw of the saw For over a hundred years.
-
People come in by that construction site.
-
What are you doing?
-
Crazy old man Building an Ark.
-
What it's going to save me and my family and two of every animal from what flood?
-
What's a flood?
-
See?
-
They didn't know about rain.
-
There wasn't any rain at that time.
-
He warned or informed or advised.
-
No of things that man could not conceive of.
-
You know, we, I think, just as recently as maybe 10 years ago, we could not have conceived of what we are seeing now.
-
Who would believe it?
-
They were masking up a little two year old baby.
-
Are you nuts?
-
Have you gone crazy?
-
I'm no longer surprised, I'm no longer amazed.
-
I'm prepared, amen, I'm prepared, and I'm warning people.
-
I said I'm warning people.
-
You know that was mercy.
-
That was God's mercy.
-
He could have snapped his fingers and sent the flood and killed everybody, but he gave them a hundred years to repent.
-
He's given this country decades to get it right and we haven't gotten it right.
-
He's given this church the church of Jesus Christ.
-
Jesus is the head of the body and it's not very much of the church has gotten it right either.
-
If you really want to be honest, if you want to know what their future is like.
-
You ought to read the book of Revelation, chapter two and three.
-
You'll find out.
-
The church does not have a lead pipe cinch.
-
We like listen.
-
I preach security.
-
I preach that we're going to heaven.
-
I preach we're going up in the rapture.
-
But not everybody's going to make it.
-
Some of these people, I mean.
-
God said repent, jesus said Jesus said it's in red in my Bible.
-
He said in Revelation two he said repent or else I'll throw you into bed.
-
You'll, you'll go through the great tribulation.
-
What does that mean to you?
-
It means you're going to get to see the Antichrist while the rest of us are going to be having a banquet, the marriage supper of the lamb.
-
You're going to be excluded.
-
There's going to be churches excluded.
-
That's the harsh reality.
-
He said you know the lay of the sins.
-
You know you're lukewarm.
-
I wish you were hot.
-
In fact I wish you were just cold.
-
At least cold would give you an excuse.
-
But you're lukewarm.
-
That means you've been exposed to the heat of the gospel, you've been exposed to the heat of the Holy Ghost and you didn't want that much.
-
You just want a little dab.
-
You don't want to look foolish, you don't want to be running around the church, for goodness sake.
-
You don't want to be seen lifting your hands.
-
You don't want to be heard speaking in other tongues, for goodness sake.
-
That's the bad, bad, bad, he said.
-
Because of that I'm going to vomit you out of my mouth.
-
Read it for yourself.
-
I mean listen.
-
This is good news for you and I, because, why?
-
Because we are fully awake.
-
We are doing what God called us to do, that's, you know, we're staying ready for surprises and remember that knob that you turned early on.
-
Now You're hearing this from a positive standpoint on your side.
-
This is supposed to be an encouraging message.
-
It's not condemnation.
-
This is encouraging for us.
-
We have been advised, we have been informed, we have been warned and now we're running.
-
We're the chosen generation.
-
We just sang about it.
-
We're the chosen generation, the royal priesthood, the Holy nation, and we're not just sitting around on, you know, waiting for things to happen.
-
We're going out and occupying this earth till he comes.
-
Amen.
-
So let's look at I mean here over a hundred years, and yet his family was saved and yet, by the building of the Ark and they entering into it, condemned the world.
-
Why?
-
Because the world had a chance to repent.
-
They had no excuse.
-
God is always righteous, he's holy and he does not suffer fools forever.
-
But he even gives fools a chance to get it right.
-
And that's where we're at right now in this nation, the greatest nation, I believe, that's ever existed.
-
We've been so blessed, it's just amazing.
-
And yet we have flittered it and fiddled it around.
-
The church is just afraid to speak.
-
Oh, if I lose my father?
-
Once he'd read my tax designation.
-
Oh, my God, I don't care.
-
Go, take it.
-
I don't care, we don't need it.
-
We'll just be a for profit corporation.
-
We have to be.
-
We'll still be going.
-
We'll still be preaching the God.
-
God will meet every need this church has.
-
Well, you're breaking the law.
-
I'm not breaking any law.
-
They're the ones that broke the law.
-
They're the ones that went unconstitutional with the Johnson amendment.
-
There's not one thing constantly We've got a constitutional person in here today You'll meet her later but I'm telling you it's not a constitution of what they did, Johnson amendment.
-
Separation of church and state is not in the Constitution.
-
The purpose of government is protect our rights, not to take them.
-
Anyway, I digress, but by by do?
-
The Bible says that by doing what he did?
-
He saved his family and condemned the world.
-
So let's look at Luke 17.
-
Let's look at more of what Jesus said about what I believe these days are that we're living in right now Luke 17, verse 26.
-
Jesus is talking about his coming, his return, and he says and as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
-
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day, until the day that Noah entered into the Ark and the flood came and destroyed them all.
-
Bridezilla had her gown, had the caterer had the food at the venue, I mean, the flowers were out, the preacher was there, boom, no wedding, no people Swallowed up.
-
That's what the Bible says.
-
In fact, that's what Jesus said was going to happen.
-
I mean we didn't get that out of Noah, we didn't get that out of Genesis.
-
It doesn't say that, it doesn't describe the setting.
-
I mean you know, you kind of think about.
-
You know they're all watching the sky and looking at the Ark and all that.
-
They just kept right on up to the moment.
-
They kept doing what they were doing, oblivious, not at all investigating what's going on.
-
I mean they're totally not curious about Biden and his family and how much the Chinese have bought them off.
-
Not at all curious about some of our high ranking senators in both parties.
-
Not at all.
-
There's.
-
No, there's not any people like the dad.
-
You know water gates.
-
You couldn't get enough reporters to talk about Nixon and all the water gate.
-
They made movies about it.
-
They're still heroes.
-
But no one is curious about what went on in 2018 and 2019 to wind up with the last election.
-
The last election, oh no, we can't even talk about it.
-
We'll get canceled.
-
We all know what happened and I'm just going to say this one thing God's hand came off just like that.
-
He said you want this, you got it.
-
You want a bunch of mess, you want violence, you want iniquity, you want this America.
-
I'm going to let you have it.
-
And they put more about his hand in a minute.
-
What Jesus said to the very moment they were eating and drinking, marrying wise, giving in marriage till the day the flood came.
-
And then verse 28 likewise, also as it was in the days of lot they did eat, they drank.
-
And then it says they bought and they sold, they planted and they built it.
-
So they just kept doing business.
-
They kept on doing business until fire and brimstone fell from heaven and destroyed them all, even the.
-
Shall it be in the day when the Son of man be revealed.
-
In that day, he which shall be upon the house top and his stuff in his house, let him not come down to take it away.
-
And he that is in the field let him likewise not return back.
-
Remember Lot's wife.
-
She wound up be a sack of salt.
-
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it.
-
Whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
-
So we're talking about how it's going to be in the revelation of the Son of man.
-
I believe it's going to be in two parts.
-
He's going to reveal himself first to his church when he comes for his church, and then, seven years later, is for what I believe it's going to happen.
-
Some people differ with that.
-
I don't.
-
If you want to differ with me, go ahead.
-
If you want to stay down here and tribulate, you just be my guest.
-
I'm planning on being gone.
-
I believe in pre-tribulation rapture.
-
You don't have to believe that.
-
I believe that.
-
Well, I believe in mid-tribal.
-
Okay, you can stay here for half the tribulation.
-
I'm leaving on the front end.
-
You can make a case, for you know you can make a case.
-
I don't know how good a case it is, but but anyway, the second part of his being coming back will be with the church and by that time it's going to be too late for everybody that didn't turn.
-
Are people going to get saved in the tribulation?
-
I believe they will be saved, but not like you and I are saved.
-
They will never be members of the body of Christ.
-
They will never be on our level.
-
We'll have glorified bodies.
-
We will have, we will have the benefit of eternal glorified.
-
They won't have that.
-
They'll just have finite bodies and they'll die and then there'll be spirits later on.
-
They'll never have what we have.
-
They'll never be.
-
They'll never be in the status that we are.
-
We will rule and reign with him.
-
It's a big downside to turn all this down the day of grace.
-
It's just what we're living in.
-
That's why we're preaching this this morning not to not to get anybody down in the dumps or anything like that, but to realize how we have it made.
-
And let's let's get busy doing what we're supposed to do.
-
Let's not hide in the church walls.
-
Let's not be compliant to these unelected government officials trying to steal our rights from us.
-
Our rights didn't come from government.
-
They're supposed to be guaranteed by the government.
-
Ha ha, ha, so, uh.
-
So the days of lot, the days of Noah, that's how it's going to look right now.
-
That's what Jesus said.
-
He's, he's about to come.
-
We're, we're seeing the days of Noah.
-
We're seeing the days of lot.
-
We're living in them right now.
-
Jesus must be coming soon.
-
He must be even at the doors.
-
He prophesied this.
-
It's going to be like that.
-
So we shouldn't be so surprised and shocked.
-
Amen, we have to be.
-
We have to stay ready.
-
We have to watch and pray and stay ready for surprises and then not just be overtaken by the surprise so much that we, that we just lose heart.
-
I talked to people that have lost hope.
-
Almost every week somebody will come up as a visitor and they'll just say I just about lost hope and I just don't even know.
-
I talked to one person and just said I had to go on an extended vacation.
-
That's called it a sabbatical.
-
He said I just was so depressed after the election they weren't ready for the surprise.
-
They weren't ready.
-
I lived through it too.
-
I know it's not, it's not.
-
It's not always easy.
-
That's why I cling to my Bible, that's why I've got the Holy Ghost on the inside.
-
If nothing else, I can just encourage myself in the Lord, my God, hallelujah.
-
So I wanted to connect some dots, because this is our 27th anniversary right about this time.
-
Last last, the 29th actually of of January, it was the actual day, but it was Super Bowl Sunday that year, 1995.
-
And so the Super Bowl is coming next Sunday.
-
So I'm always reminded of our anniversary.
-
We've been here 27 years and a year and a half after we started, in June of 96, I had a vision and I won't go into it, I've told it many times and where God spoke to me and said you're a regional center.
-
See, I, just when I, when I obeyed God to start this church I just, I'm a pastor, I'm starting a local church, 1960 area but God said in June of 96, a year and a half after we started, supernatural vision, you're a regional center.
-
And after I prayed and put the dots together, I knew what he was saying that we were executive, legislative and judicial authority, just like a capital in Austin, a capital in Washington DC, government is three co-equal branches of government.
-
And we were.
-
God saw this church as a governmental and now, since then, I've realized the whole church is really supposed to be functioning in that type of power.
-
We ought to be writing the laws, we ought to be adjudicating.
-
When people get out of line, we ought to be creating the parameters by which they get elected.
-
And the church has abdicated its responsibility.
-
So this was God's way of bringing this church into a a knowledge of what it should be doing.
-
And then over these 27 years, I realized he wasn't just talking about us, he talked about the entire church.
-
So a lot of the reasons why the nation see the difference between a nation of America and the church.
-
The nation of America has a covenant with God, much like Israel.
-
It's a land covenant.
-
It's also got curses.
-
It's blessings and curses associated with that covenant.
-
When you disobey God's covenant you get cursed.
-
We're walking in the curse right now as a nation.
-
But the church?
-
Thank God we've got a better covenant.
-
But it doesn't absolve us from responsibility.
-
We have a responsibility.
-
He never gives authority without responsibility and we have that responsibility on us.
-
That's why I'm preaching this.
-
So over these 27 years it's been an unfolding revelation of just what our role is.
-
I didn't have any anybody to teach me this.
-
My father in the faith didn't have this revelation.
-
He didn't teach this to me, brother Osteen.
-
John Osteen was very important pastor in this city, elected officials that come through the church and seek his favor, but as far as anything like speaking out on issues or especially national politics, he just was silent.
-
All of that generation they were silent.
-
I mean, I had nobody to show me how to do this.
-
So God had to visit me on a number of occasions.
-
I want to share this one visitation with you this morning.
-
It occurred on August, the 6th of 1998.
-
And we were on a Thursday night prayer meeting.
-
It was in our first building that has been torn down now it's over super target.
-
It's built on where it used to be Running 1960, it was a storefront and we had 9,300 square feet of space there.
-
And we were there on a Thursday night.
-
Gladys opened up.
-
It was her prayer meeting.
-
I went to all the prayer meetings in those days and she started the prayer meeting and suddenly I just was in the spirit.
-
I just the room vanished and I was standing floating 100 feet above South Post Oak Drive, just south of the Galleria Galleria to my right and the Williams Tower right in front of me, and I'm on the east side of the street.
-
So the street is running right down here and I'm just in awe.
-
I'm thinking how did I get here?
-
What in the world?
-
I'm looking at this big building At that time the tallest building outside of a downtown area in the whole nation.
-
I think that's not the case anymore, but back then it was, and I became aware of movement down on the sidewalk, across the street, on that side of the street, and I looked to my right and here comes a pipeline, or I call it a pipeline of fire.
-
In other words, it's an eight inch fire and it's on the concrete and the front edge of it is traveling and the rest of it is staying put.
-
So this is a pipeline of fire traveling down the sidewalk and it comes to the Williams Tower and goes right up the walk into the front doors, over to the elevators in the brass.
-
I saw the brass elevators.
-
I've never been in the building, I don't know if they got brass doors or not, but that's what I saw in the vision and this fire went into the building and went up on every floor all the way to the top.
-
I'm still standing there.
-
I don't know whether I said anything, I don't know everybody.
-
I was.
-
I was, I had my eyes open, but I was not aware of anyone around me in the meat, in the prayer meeting.
-
And I'm still wondering at what I'm seeing.
-
In a voice, a loud voice, says I'm about to judge corporate America.
-
Well, the fear of God hit me when I heard that.
-
I knew it was his voice.
-
And then the vision I thought I saw that coming from my right.
-
Where did it come from?
-
Where did it begin?
-
See, I was thinking that I know he planted that thought and so I looked off to my right, which would be the north.
-
And I looked to the north and in the very distant, I saw Washington DC.
-
I saw the Capitol, saw the White House, and I knew from what I saw that judgment was going to begin in our nation's government and then spread to our economy.
-
That's what I knew.
-
And then, suddenly, I came back into the room.
-
People were standing around me.
-
I don't know what I said.
-
I've never asked anybody if I said anything or spoke out loud during this visitation.
-
But I woke up, so to speak, became aware I should say it that way, became aware of people around me and standing in the room that I had left and I felt like I was standing in something like, and I looked down and I was ankle deep in blood.
-
The entire place where I stood was blood, deep, rich, thick blood, and I broke and cried and almost went down Went.
-
I bowed down and grabbed my stomach and sobbed and I thought and I knew that this was the blood of our soldiers that had died in all the wars to keep us free.
-
This freedom wasn't free that we have.
-
People died from the very beginning.
-
They died in the Revolutionary War, they died in the Civil War.
-
Don't let anybody minimize what happened in the Civil War.
-
Lots and lots of young boys died and families were impoverished to end slavery.
-
Don't let anybody make you act like we haven't done anything in this country.
-
We've done stuff in this nation that no one has ever done in history.
-
I will not allow it to be besmirched like it's been, not while I'm still breathing.
-
Is it perfect?
-
Of course not.
-
There is no perfect, jesus, is it?
-
But anyway, I began to pray.
-
I was going to pray God, the blood of all your soldiers.
-
And I heard that same voice no, it's like a sword went right in front of my face.
-
I never have said that part before, but it was like he cut off my words.
-
No, he wouldn't allow me to pray, he wouldn't allow me to answer.
-
What I saw, I couldn't stop it.
-
Are you with me now?
-
And then I, you know, came back into myself and we dismissed the prayer meeting.
-
I don't know if we talked about it very much.
-
I talked about it later, many times over the years.
-
We have new people.
-
You've never heard this before.
-
You don't know what kind of church you're in.
-
Some of you might be visitors, you know, I don't know, but I felt very strong to share this this morning.
-
We are living in these days, the days of lot, the days of Noah.
-
Jesus is coming soon.
-
Hey, let's, let's not lose sight of the fact he's coming.
-
So I went home and I pondered everything that happened, wrote it down so I wouldn't forget.
-
And so the next week this was Thursday night sometime the next week, no, excuse me, the next morning, the very next morning, which was Friday morning, I woke up to the news that two embassies in Africa had been attacked by Al Qaeda.
-
It was our first skirmish with Osama bin Laden.
-
We attacked our embassies in Kenya and in Tanzania and the blood of our 12 soldiers that were guarding those embassies is what I was standing in their blood the night before, five hours, five hours before that attack.
-
I stood in their blood and God would not allow me to stop it.
-
And our government, which was the Bill Clinton administration, his state department, took the brunt of that first situation judgment.
-
A lot of people don't know what judgment is, I'll define it in a moment but I knew that I had been warned.
-
I knew that I had seen this attack maybe not the attack, but I saw the results of the attack and I could not pray against it.
-
And that troubled me.
-
I couldn't understand it.
-
I didn't have the teaching back then.
-
It's been what?
-
23 years ago, 23 and a half years ago, I didn't know what I know now.
-
So then the next week I was watching the evening news.
-
Back then I'd watched the evening news.
-
Some don't do it anymore.
-
I don't watch misinformation lies.
-
The new CNN head admitted that they're the left news.
-
What an arrogant goofball you are, sir.
-
You're not supposed to be left, right or anything.
-
You're supposed to just report the news.
-
Did anybody tell you that?
-
That's why you have the exemption from being sued.
-
You ought to lift that Anyway.
-
So I'm watching the news and they're reporting on this crate.
-
They call this person an insane person he had.
-
I remember when it happened at that time.
-
I remember when it happened because Tom DeLay was involved.
-
He was our Congressman and Tom DeLay's chief of security was murdered in the second floor of the Capitol, us Capitol.
-
This guy, this crazy person, defeated the security system and I walked right into the Capitol, walked up to say, and killed two people and one of them was the head of security for Tom DeLay, our speaker of the house.
-
And when I'm watching that, the same voice said see, you can't protect yourselves, man.
-
I mean, I almost fainted you can't protect yourselves.
-
In the history of this country, whenever there was a what they call it, what insurance companies call acts of God, they call tornadoes and floods and they call those acts of God.
-
I don't call them acts of God.
-
They're the acts of the devil and who protects us from those is God.
-
God is the only one who can protect us from acts of the devil like that.
-
But in a small town, or any town, any place, it was always tradition that when there was a tornado.
-
Let's just say there was a tornado in Kansas, which they're, you know, tornado alley.
-
And so what would they do?
-
They would get together and fast and pray and repent, because they knew that God's hand had not protected them from that storm.
-
They didn't blame God, they looked to the inside and took responsibility.
-
When did we quit doing that?
-
We sure didn't do it on 9 11.
-
We said no, we're going to build back bigger and taller.
-
And we did no repentance at all on 9 11.
-
When I saw the twin towers fall, I heard that voice say you can't protect yourself.
-
I knew God had lifted his hand off America.
-
See, I didn't understand any of this when God called us to be a regional center, I didn't know what was ahead of us, but he did.
-
I tell you, we're part of our destiny to stand up for Jesus right now.
-
It's our destiny to run with a message and get as many people to repent as we can and get them in the kingdom.
-
Amen, it's harvest time.
-
I said it's harvest time, all right.
-
So this is the next week after eight, six, 98.
-
So then, on 8, 17, 98, 11 days after the visitation where God said I'm going to George, judge corporate America.
-
And also it starts in Washington DC.
-
11 days after that, president Clinton got up on national television, admitted that he lied and that he did indeed have an improper, blank relationship with Monica Lewinsky.
-
He committed perjury in another time.
-
He was impeached and not convicted.
-
So what is judgment?
-
Well, it begins with unveiling, it begins with a revelation of the evil, and then God waits to see if anybody's going to do anything about it.
-
He waits to see if anybody's going to rise up and say that's wrong.
-
I demand repaid, I demand repentance, I demand a change.
-
You know, he's not just.
-
He's not just burning and itching to destroy things.
-
God's a creator.
-
God loves sinners.
-
He so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.
-
He's not looking to kill people, he's not trying to just wait.
-
He's not waiting around with a baseball bat ready to bash your brains out when you do something wrong.
-
He's here to have mercy.
-
His mercy endures forever, but his church has got to be his instrument, his messenger.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Yes, well, that wasn't the first time I'd spoken out on Clinton, and it sure wasn't the last, and I remember losing a lot of members because I found out that we had members that were more Democrat than they were Christian.
-
Yes, they had always voted Democrat.
-
And don't you dare call one of my Democrat presidents he's a good guy.
-
He's not perfect.
-
Well, no, I thought about being perfect.
-
It's about being defiling the people's house and the office.
-
For my God, what does it take?
-
You sure have a low bar, and that's why we've got what we've got right now.
-
The bar has gotten lower and lower until it did.
-
It doesn't take anything except a fancy bunch of words, bunch of lies.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Who's followed?
-
The church?
-
And mainly the pastor, mainly the pulpit, mainly Because what church is gonna do anything if the pastor's not behind it, if the pastor's not teaching it, preaching it, encouraging it, covering it, stretching out his rod.
-
When you run for office and saying here's Sally, here she's going, she's gonna run for the school board, I want everybody in this church to vote for her.
-
No, that doesn't happen.
-
Oh, we can't do that.
-
They're gonna take our tax exempt status.
-
God, anyway, raise God.
-
What about corporate America?
-
Well, they experienced judgment.
-
The tech market anybody remember NASDAQ falling through the floor?
-
It was trading at 2,200, 2,400, I think, and suddenly it was 1,100.
-
They lost half its value and between, let's say, I broke the dates down March of 2000 to October of 2002.
-
I mean, they just remember the dot-coms People were buying and selling, dot-coms, getting rich and then, till they weren't, till, they were losing all that money.
-
The stock market, of course, on 9-11, they had to suspend trading Because, I mean, it went down like a freight train.
-
We went into a recession and because of that change of value, guess what we got?
-
We got $9.7 million worth of property given to us by an unsaved businessman who had a tax bank.
-
Say so, judgment didn't hurt us.
-
Judgment helped us, because, why?
-
Because we had spoken out against this stuff.
-
We had rung the bell at great expense for us.
-
What do you mean expense?
-
Well, when people leave the church, it's pretty expensive.
-
Right, are y'all with me now?
-
Yes, sir, so.
-
And then, of course, 9-11, that fulfilled partly what I saw three years before about the God's about to judge corporate America.
-
He's had some judgments ever since, and what has corporate America done?
-
They've doubled down and they've become woke and they are using their power to wage against small businesses.
-
Yes, right, right, they're pressing for the open borders.
-
You think God doesn't know it?
-
God knows it.
-
God's gonna hold every one of those people accountable, every one of them In the Bible.
-
No one could invade another country without God's permission without falling into judgment.
-
Every time that Israel would sin and another country would come and invade them, they would always go too far and then they would fall under judgment, even though God had lifted His hand because of Israel's sin, until they repented.
-
When they finally repented, they'd never repent 100%.
-
They'd just repent some God's merciful.
-
God's been merciful to this country in spite of the abortion, in spite of how we've treated Israel.
-
He's been merciful to us, but the church has got a job to do and we've got to keep doing it.
-
So in 9-11, no real repentance in this country.
-
That's when I knew we were in for a real tough go and it's been pretty tough.
-
Eight years of Obama that was tough.
-
We had a little respite at first with Trump, but then it all fell apart at the end, and so now we have the president.
-
Whatever he is, he's the president.
-
So let me.
-
Where are we now?
-
Okay, let me get into where we are right now.
-
I want to skip over all the years in between.
-
That's 20 years that this church has been standing here praying against evil, speaking against it, talking about politics and over and over people getting offended, I try to make the case like I'm making this morning.
-
I have to make it several times a year so people don't just blow a gasket.
-
But it's gotten worse, not better.
-
It's worse now than it's ever been.
-
People blow a gas.
-
Oh, politics, I don't want to hear it.
-
I don't want to hear it.
-
I like what James says politics.
-
Poly means many tics, meaning bloodsuckers, many bloodsuckers, great definition, all right.
-
So what about now?
-
Okay, we're winding up three things here.
-
What about now?
-
Signs are abundant that Jesus is coming soon.
-
When you read, when you read, just Luke 17, I mean, read it.
-
He's coming soon.
-
So, number one, don't be surprised at the rise of violence.
-
Noah, noah, as it was in the days of Noah, the earth was filled with Hamas.
-
Houston has become the murder capital of the country.
-
I can't, it's just.
-
You know, I'm trying hard not to be surprised.
-
But why are we surprised?
-
We've got the worst county judge.
-
We've got the worst mayor.
-
We've got the worst administration.
-
These people are horrible and they're incompetent and they're ignorant and on top of that, they're corrupt.
-
All of them, and the two guys that are trying to do their best, are outvoted at every corner.
-
We've got a chance to change that coming up.
-
We better change it.
-
We better get a better county judge and we better replace these derelict county officials.
-
It's too late for the mayor.
-
He's not coming for election for a while yet.
-
How did they get evicted?
-
The church that's how they got elected.
-
The church?
-
I wouldn't want to be a part of a church that didn't speak out on these matters.
-
I just wouldn't want to be a part of it.
-
I'd be afraid I'd be vomited out.
-
No, we're hot around here.
-
We're hot for God.
-
We're hot for the Word of God.
-
We're hot for the Holy Ghost.
-
God has a side.
-
We're gonna be firmly on His side.
-
God is not neutral about anything.
-
There's no neutrality, god.
-
Well, he's not Republican, he's not a Democrat, he's neutral.
-
No, he's not neutral, stupid.
-
He may not be a Republican, he may not be a Democrat.
-
He's God.
-
Are you dumb?
-
He doesn't join a party.
-
He makes the law.
-
It's so tired of these.
-
So lawlessness promoted by Democrats and some Republicans.
-
Lawlessness is why we have the evil.
-
We've got these judges that are granting no bail or low bail and just I don't know.
-
I thank God for Councilman Kubosh.
-
He's out there filing an grievance 156 cases where people have been murdered by these guys that should have been in jail.
-
So, one by one, of course, he's come under fire.
-
So we prayed for him Thursday night.
-
That's the kind of prayer we do around here.
-
We don't pray for the blessings all the time.
-
Oh, bless me, bless me, lord, bless me, bless me.
-
You know, it's time for us to take something back.
-
It's time for us to bless God.
-
Let's bless God.
-
God bless America.
-
Let's bless America, bless God, amen.
-
Law.
-
Everybody say lawlessness.
-
Well, isn't that the Antichrist?
-
Isn't he the lawless one?
-
That's what we're supposed to do.
-
We're supposed to restrain Second Thessalonians, chapter two.
-
We're supposed to restrain the lawless one.
-
Well, how can you restrain the lawless one in a vote for these people that foster lawlessness, open borders?
-
We don't even know who's coming across and then they're being broadcast all over our country.
-
We've got terrorists, we've got murderers, rapists.
-
We've got the worst of the worst of the worst, and it's promoted by big corporations, promoted by Wall Street.
-
It's promoted by our government of Democrats and some Republicans.
-
Oh, don't be surprised, as it was in the days of Lord.
-
Jesus sees all of it and he's coming soon.
-
Is he gonna find the church doing what it ought to be doing?
-
Well, he's gonna find us doing what we're supposed to do.
-
I know that.
-
So we have to oppose it through all means voting, praying, but also getting involved.
-
It just takes more than just.
-
I mean.
-
You know, we've lived through a time when we could just pray and vote, but now we're gonna have to be louder and more active.
-
We're gonna have to have boots on the ground.
-
Boots on the ground.
-
You can't not everything can be remote control from a sterile little glass enclosed building.
-
You know, put the little joystick and have the drone go up and no, you're gonna have to have boots on the ground.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
All right.
-
Number two the rise of the LGBTQ, plus plus P and however many other letters that they choose to appropriate For their power.
-
Godlessness, iniquity, sin.
-
Oh, but God loves them.
-
I know God loves them.
-
He hates what they're doing, he hates that and he hates the corruption they're bringing to our schools through their activists.
-
They have activists in all the schools.
-
Well, it's not on.
-
There's nothing on the curriculum.
-
It doesn't even have to be on the curriculum, as a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be in the library.
-
All it takes is a couple of activist teachers in the school and they can corrupt a whole bunch of children, and that's what they're there to do.
-
Let me tell you, it's their religion, and they're more zealous about their religion than we are ours, if the truth be known.
-
So what's that going to take?
-
Well, it's going to take some people that aren't afraid to confront it head on and be called names, be called haters, be persecuted.
-
You know we're going to have to make a difference while we're here.
-
There's coming a day when we're big, be gone and they'll have their wish.
-
They'll be so glad for us to leave and they'll have it to themselves.
-
But until then, we have a job to do, that is, you know, to get a harvest out of this mess, amen.
-
So Obama and the Democrats they accelerated this LGBTQ.
-
I've been talking for 10 years, mark my words.
-
They've been fed from right here.
-
Well, actually it was right up here, but anyway, we've remodeled since then.
-
I said, mark my words, they will, they will find a way to okay pedophilia and pedophiles.
-
That's what's going on right now.
-
They're absolving pedophiles of any wrongdoing.
-
They're working day and night.
-
You're looking at me like I'm crazy.
-
You know you should have been here Friday night to see the movie we had.
-
There's 33 of us here.
-
I didn't come because I just couldn't stand to see it.
-
I already know what's there.
-
I've been watching it for a long time, praying against it, speaking against it.
-
But it's time for us not just parents, but everybody to speak against this mess.
-
It's horrible.
-
Children are being recruited.
-
They're being groomed for this behavior.
-
They're minds.
-
See, god said.
-
You know.
-
Jesus said it'd be better that a millstone be hung around your neck and you drown in the depths of the sea than one person be guilty of one of these little ones.
-
I'm thinking about opening a millstone company.
-
Manufacture them.
-
This one looks pretty heavy.
-
You better have a double sized millstone and for that one, the rush to eliminate all obstacles to their agenda cancel culture.
-
There's no freedom of speech, only the speech that they agree with.
-
You can't talk about a vaccination.
-
You can't talk about a virus.
-
You can't talk about a pandemic.
-
It less it's in terms of total orthodoxy to their religion.
-
That's all they accept.
-
There's no freedom.
-
This is exactly how Cuba wound up Cuba.
-
This is how Venezuela wound up Venezuela.
-
This is how Nazi Germany fell under Hitler.
-
They started in the schools.
-
They started in dockerating people.
-
They started changing the news.
-
They started, you know, giving you propaganda instead of you know.
-
It was all fake news.
-
It's all been done before.
-
They have no new tricks.
-
The devil's always been a liar and a murderer.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Don't be surprised, don't be downcast.
-
We're on the winning team.
-
What we say has more power than anything the devil does or says Amen.
-
So the third one is the rise of abuse of power.
-
So you had the first two the rise of violence, the rise of the LGBTQ agenda, and that could only happen when you have the rise of abuse of power.
-
The abuse of power is what allows that to happen, because it stamps out any opposition.
-
It criminalizes opposition.
-
Major corporation.
-
If you don't sign into their liberal policies, you say something that's just a little bit off.
-
If you don't recognize their gender name, you can be fired.
-
You'll be out the door just because you didn't line up with their religion.
-
They don't line up with yours.
-
They don't recognize your right to, to, to for Jesus.
-
You can't use the name of Jesus.
-
You can't even have a calendar with Jesus picture on it.
-
We have somebody comes to the church.
-
That had just a little, a little something in in their cubicle and they were made to take it down because it was.
-
It was Christian.
-
But all the Muslims got to have their prayer mats and the five times a day there on their face, where their rear end up in the air, and there was no problem with that.
-
No problem at all with that.
-
That's perfectly fine.
-
But you're a Christian?
-
No, you don't.
-
Views of power Are you with me now?
-
Let's resist and push back.
-
Nobody's gonna take our rights from us.
-
With our cooperation, we're not gonna comply.
-
We have the Constitution on our side.
-
We have the besides that, we have the Bible on our side.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I'm talking about staying ready for surprises.
-
We're gonna see some surprises between now and 2024, which is our next presidential election.
-
Fasten your seat belts.
-
There's gonna be the rise of some and the fall of others, and some of the fall are gonna be pretty major.
-
So just don't get too fixated on a person.
-
Don't attach to people what Jesus alone has.
-
Be careful.
-
We can support people and support candidates, but people any candidate, I don't care who that candidate is.
-
They're regular folks.
-
They can be tempted, they can be attacked, they can change their mind.
-
They can disappoint you.
-
So let's not get all wrapped up in personalities and people.
-
Let's keep wrapped up in the Holy Ghost and Jesus, in the Word of God.
-
Stay ready for surprises.
-
Come on, lift your hands and receive this morning Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God.
-
Thank you, lord Jesus.
-
How many of you are depressed and you can't wait to go home?
-
Turn out the lights, put a good beer drinking country song on.
-
No, I tell you, I'm excited about what God has done.
-
He knew all this and I didn't know it.
-
I didn't know all this stuff was gonna happen.
-
And he has prepared us, we.
-
He has prepared us uniquely for this day, and we're not the only ones.
-
I don't want you to think that we're the only ones.
-
We're not, and I believe that more and more people are coming our way.
-
Amen, did you get anything out of this this morning?
-
Amen, come on, let's rejoice this morning.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Thank you, thank God, thank you, lord.
-
Come on, let's just lift our hands a moment.
-
Father, we thank you this morning.
-
Thank you for the Word of God, thank you for the atmosphere that's here.
-
Truth, the truth.
-
You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free, and whom the sun sets free is free.
-
Indeed, I like this one Whom the sun sets free is unquestionably free.
-
If I say I'm free, lord, it can't.
-
I'm not free because of the government, no, I'm free because of Jesus.
