Reach down, pick up your Bibles, please, and before you're seated, let's lift our Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.
-
Let's get into the Word of God.
-
This morning I tell you we need the Word.
-
Let's say this together say Heavenly Father, it's time to go.
-
I'm a go Texan.
-
I'm going into all my world with good news.
-
I've come this morning with an open heart to receive all that you have for me.
-
Today I have a need to change, to move into those things that you've created me for, and I'm making the changes necessary on my side.
-
In Jesus' name, amen, praise God, let's turn in our Bibles.
-
We've got three verses.
-
I want to get to James, chapter four, and then the next book is First Peter, and the last will be Ephesians, chapter six.
-
Let's start with James, chapter four, verse seven.
-
James says and you're James, the Lord's brother.
-
He ought to know something, shouldn't he?
-
He said submit yourself, therefore, unto God, resist the devil.
-
Everybody shout resist, resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
-
That word flee means, if it's rendered in a different way, run as in terror.
-
You know, we don't need to be afraid of the devil, he's already afraid of us.
-
All right, and then in First Peter, chapter five, verse eight be sober, be vigilant for your adversary.
-
The devil as a lion walketh about.
-
He's too poor to own a car, he's got a hoof it.
-
And as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour.
-
This shows you how dumb he is, because lines do not roar until after they kill the prey.
-
He's dumb enough to roar beforehand, so he lets you know when he's coming.
-
As a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour.
-
Whom resist?
-
Everybody, shout, resist, stead fast in the faith.
-
And then the last one is Ephesians, chapter six, and it says here, finally my brother, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
-
Amen, don't be strong in yourself, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
-
Take upon you the whole, entire armor of God.
-
You may be able to stand against or resist the wiles or the military strategies of the devil.
-
Notice, I just kind of quoted those because they're part of my constant confession, and so today I just want to share a simple message Join the resistance.
-
Look to your neighbor says welcome to the resistance club.
-
Who are we resisting?
-
The devil.
-
And so in every war, you know when I think about resisting, I think about the resistance I think about.
-
In every war there's always a resistance, members of the resistance, and you know, when I was a sophomore in high school we went to see a screening of the longest days, got all the top stars of the day there, the mostly the male.
-
There was all male, pretty much a couple of ladies in there that I never heard of, but most of it were men.
-
John Wayne and you know all the big guys were in that and it was a story of the D-Day invasion and a big part of the movie was the French resistance, how they went back behind the Nazi lines and was constantly giving them fits.
-
You know France was occupied by the Germans but they had the resistance and you know so.
-
You know we had resistance fighters in the Revolutionary War, and so we live in a world that's under the influence of the devil and demon powers.
-
I get so tired of seeing people post on my Facebook page well, god is in control.
-
Well, they hadn't read their Bible.
-
God's not in control of this mess.
-
God is not the author of this garbage that we're seeing right now.
-
Amen, amen, amen.
-
No, the devil, he's the God of this world and he is ruler over everyone that's lost.
-
So that's a considerable number of billions of people, and he is over them Now.
-
God is in ultimate control.
-
Of course we know that ultimate control, but he is not a puppet master.
-
He's not up there.
-
You know I have people on there.
-
Well, you know, I see that you're crying against Biden.
-
You ought to pray for his salvation.
-
Look, he grew up in America, he's heard the gospel his whole life and he's rejected it.
-
He's not even a good Catholic, much less a Christian.
-
I'm not praying for him, I'm praying against him.
-
I'm crying against what he's doing.
-
People don't know.
-
Oh, yes, oh, we have to pray.
-
You did you pray for?
-
You know the church didn't pray for Herod.
-
I know we're gonna pray for the devil too.
-
How about the Antichrist?
-
Can we pray for the Antichrist?
-
I mean, what planet are you from?
-
Amen.
-
No, we're crying against evil and those that perpetrated and their salvation from them and God.
-
They've already long since rejected it.
-
I don't have any obligation to pray for him.
-
He knows he claims to be a Christian.
-
He knows he claims he's a good Catholic.
-
Well, you know what?
-
If the Catholic church had any gumption, they'd excommunicate him.
-
He's responsible for babies being killed.
-
He's a criminal, His whole family, they're a crime syndicate.
-
It's out there, it's all out there, in black and white, all the proof that we need.
-
So we pray for him, really, amen.
-
Let's realize we're here to join up with the resistance.
-
We pray for Hitler.
-
To the church, pray for Hitler.
-
Some of them cooperated with it and they're not the true church either.
-
Are you with me now?
-
So in every war, so we're living in this world, and the devil has been defeated.
-
Jesus has defeated him.
-
He is a defeated foe, no question, but yet, because of the fact that his lease has not run out, we do have to contend with him and we have to resist his operations.
-
Amen, we have to resist these unseen forces and we have to do it in Christ, you know, up against the devil and demon powers by ourselves, just in our own flesh.
-
I mean we don't have a chance but in Christ.
-
And then, even more importantly than that, all of us link together.
-
You know, you don't see a resistance force of one person.
-
I mean, these people were linked together and they had a network of resistance.
-
See, that's what the church should be.
-
The church should be the network of resistance of the antichrist spirit in the earth today.
-
Amen.
-
Everybody say I'm a charter member of the resistance.
-
Now let's listen, let's look at what resistance means.
-
The Greek word translated resist the devil.
-
It means to stand against, yeah, to withstand, to act in opposition.
-
Two ways to act in opposition passively, like a dam resisting the river.
-
You know, you build a dam across the river.
-
What happens?
-
Well, the river starts to back up, back up, back up, and it starts to flood, you know, upstream, until it gets higher than the dam.
-
And then it'll come over the top of the dam and usually what they do is they have gates.
-
They don't want the water to go over the dam.
-
They have gates down in the dam.
-
They open the gates on that dam, but generally they just keep the level.
-
So at Lake Conroe, I was alive when they cleaned out the hole and shaped Lake Conroe and then they built the dam across it and I was there.
-
I mean that water raised up, raised up.
-
They learned a lot from Lake Houston not to do it like Lake Houston.
-
Lake Houston did the same thing, but they didn't clear it out and so for years, decades, dead trees, dead logs would float to the surface, where boaters would hit them with their boats and have all kind of damage and trouble and accidents and everything.
-
So they learned from the mistakes they made back in the 40s when they made Lake Houston, so they made Lake Conroe and then you know they've got those gates on there and every now and then they have to open them up to let the water out.
-
If there's a lot of rain they've got to let all that water out.
-
So it's passive.
-
Everybody say passive resistance, passive resistance.
-
So we need to learn how to be passive I'll give you an example later and then actively.
-
An active resistance would be something like an army encountering and defeating an enemy.
-
Sometimes you've just got to get out.
-
That's what's going on in the Ukraine, I mean.
-
So those people are fighting.
-
They're not laying down for Putin, they're fighting.
-
Those people are violent, they're rough people, they don't want to be taken over.
-
They've got a few people that live in their land that are communist, left over from the iron curtain days and all of that.
-
Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union, the iron curtain, so to speak, fell but communism didn't go anywhere and so you've got those.
-
I like when you know Putin said something about he's gonna get rid of the Nazis, he's gonna get rid of the Nazis?
-
Well, he's the Nazi.
-
So anyway, active, everybody say active resistance, all right.
-
It means another meaning to strive against, to endeavor, to counteract, defeat or frustrate.
-
Yeah, we're called to frustrate the devil and demon power Drive them crazy.
-
I like to wave my Bible and make the devil mad.
-
Amen.
-
Some people are just hoping that he doesn't notice them.
-
They try to tip toe through life as quietly as possible.
-
Hope they don't disturb the devil.
-
No, I want to disturb it.
-
Amen, praise God.
-
All right.
-
It means to baffle or to disappoint, amen.
-
Wow, isn't that good to baffle the devil.
-
You know the church.
-
We can't always be on the defense.
-
We need to be Sometimes.
-
You know it's good to have passive resistance, but sometimes we have to have active resistance.
-
Voting is an active resistance.
-
Studying up on who to vote for the primary that we have on Tuesday, that we're voting in.
-
This is our opportunity as the grassroots, the citizens of America.
-
They can pick out their candidate that best fits what they believe ought to be happening, and what we've got is a bunch of candidates that are running that are okayed by the top of the Republican Party.
-
That I don't agree with.
-
I don't think we ought to reward Abbott for closing the churches.
-
I think it's time for new blood.
-
I'm just that's my opinion.
-
You can do whatever you want, but I don't plan on voting for him.
-
Well, trump endorsed him.
-
I know Trump endorsed him, but that doesn't carry any weight with me.
-
I know better for what's Texas.
-
I mean.
-
You know I like Huffines.
-
He's a pretty good guy.
-
Pastor, what are you saying?
-
This is politics.
-
Well, this is resistance.
-
Part of the trouble we have is because the church has not been paying attention to these kinds of things.
-
Amen, so well, I don't agree with him.
-
I don't have to agree.
-
I didn't tell you that you had to do it.
-
I'm just giving you my perspective.
-
But you ought to study the candidates.
-
Don't go in that voting booth and just go down the list.
-
Yeah, get it over with.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, they don't matter.
-
Apologies, they're all bad.
-
No, they're not all bad.
-
Now, that's a lie.
-
Right that they're all bad.
-
They're not all bad.
-
Some of them are better than others, some of them.
-
You know, if you don't do it now, then come November, when you go in, then you're gonna have to hold your nose and vote for some guy that you don't lie or a lady that you don't like because they won in the primary.
-
That's how we got Lena.
-
Nobody voted.
-
Talk about a disaster man.
-
We need to get rid of her.
-
And I mean now, amen, all right, praise the Lord.
-
So to baffle, to disappoint, you know, if the devil is how many of you believe the Bible's true, then the devil is walking about.
-
So we ought to be the contrary type.
-
We ought to be making his way hard, we ought to be getting in his way.
-
Every time he turns around, he's encountering us, and we have that power, we have that authority, amen.
-
So join the resistance, let's make the devil miserable together.
-
Amen Opposes every move, both actively and passively.
-
All through the New Testament, the church is set against the devil and demon powers and their works.
-
See, I just believe the devil is either directly or indirectly behind all sickness, all disease.
-
I mean the woman that was bowed over at the waist for 18 years.
-
Jesus said that Satan had bound this woman 18 years and she was a daughter of Abraham and she ought to be loosed.
-
And it didn't matter whether it was a Sabbath day or he just insulted the religious crowd because he healed her on the Sabbath day.
-
So when you study that, you realize where sickness and disease come from.
-
Maybe not directly, but in her case he turned and he cast out the spirit of infirmity.
-
So in her case it was a demonic power that had her bound and he cast that spirit out.
-
But many times it's not directly a demon power, sometimes it's just infirmity and we can lay hands on the sick and they'll recover, amen.
-
And so in Luke 10, 19, he had given his disciples authority.
-
The word Greek word there in the King James is translated power, but when you look it up it's the Greek word execia, which means authority.
-
He said behold, I give you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions.
-
How many of you know he was talking about demon powers, not talking about literally animals, he's talking about demons.
-
Behold, I give you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power.
-
That word power is dunamis, supernatural power.
-
Demons have supernatural power, god has greater supernatural power.
-
So, behold, I give you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the dunamis of the enemy, and nothing shall be any means hurt you.
-
And so that's what they went out.
-
They went out, they healed the sick, they cast out devils, and when they came back to tell Jesus oh, jesus, jesus, even the demons are subject unto us and die in name.
-
And he said well, you know, I saw Satan fall from his lightning, fall from heaven.
-
I mean, you know, don't be so excited about casting out demons, but be excited that your name's enrolled in heaven.
-
Be excited, your name is written in heaven.
-
Well, what was he saying?
-
He said the devil is a nothing burger.
-
I mean, would you rejoice that you swatted a fly?
-
Would you rejoice?
-
Oh, I picked the tick off my arm.
-
Glory to God.
-
He's nothing but a fly, he's nothing but a nat.
-
In fact, he's the Lord of the flies, he's the Lord of the dung heap.
-
Beels above.
-
Lord of the dung heap, I'm being kind now.
-
Dung means you know what?
-
Are y'all with me today?
-
You know Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28,.
-
You can get in there and you can find some more expansion about what God has said, specifically about the devil, lucifer, satan, and Isaiah 14, it says he's gonna be displayed and the kings of the earth are gonna narrowly look at him.
-
In other words, they're gonna squint at him and they're gonna say look at, you know, squint.
-
Is this the one, is this the one that made the nations to trim this thing.
-
See, we need to understand our enemy.
-
He's not a lion, he's not a giant and he's not great.
-
He's a flea, he's a fly and we've got authority over him in Jesus' name.
-
When we use that power, I'm telling you right now, he doesn't have a chance.
-
Oh, come on, let's shout a little bit Glory to God.
-
The only reason he's gotten as far as he's gotten is the church has just been asleep and also the church is poorly taught.
-
Most people, you know they're taught a bunch of theories instead of the word A theory.
-
What's a theory, brother Hagin?
-
I like Brother Hagin's definition best of all.
-
He said it's a supposition based on ignorance of the subject under discussion.
-
That's about the best definition I've heard.
-
And so he said look, don't be so happy.
-
I mean, it's a foregone conclusion.
-
He's a nothing burger.
-
Ah, that's no big deal, praise God.
-
And so, in the name of Jesus, we are masters at actively and passively frustrating and demoralizing the enemy.
-
So I've got a couple of personal examples that I'll just give you this morning that the first one is an example of the past, of the active, actively frustrating and demoralizing and resisting the devil.
-
In this particular case, I was doing it on behalf of another person In.
-
We were living in Portland, texas, corpus Christi, in the mid 80s.
-
I had moved there and got home from church on a Sunday night and turned on the news and I just happened to see a news report out of Houston where a young lady had had a car wreck and the car had turned over and she had broken her neck and she was paralyzed in the neck down.
-
And this young girl I knew she's a teenager and I knew her mother and father.
-
I've office with him.
-
For years we built in the same subdivision.
-
He's a home builder, I'm a home builder.
-
He knew me before Jesus.
-
He knew me after Jesus.
-
He knew my life.
-
He knew what had happened to me.
-
I witnessed to him and he enjoyed watching me change.
-
He was a witness and one time his daughter, who she was a very accomplished gymnast in the Corolla gym and she was their leading teammate team member and she'd won a lot of meets and was on her way to go into the Olympics.
-
And another young lady from West Virginia named Mary Lee Retton was living with them.
-
She traveled down here.
-
Her parents let her live down here so she could train.
-
They'd come by the house and sit and talk to Gladys at the breakfast room table.
-
And so her dad called me one night and said can you pray for?
-
Can you pray for Paige?
-
She's hurt her leg and the Olympic trials are next week and she's really hurting.
-
I just felt like maybe would you pray for her.
-
I said you could bring her on by.
-
It was the evening time, water in the front door, talked to her a little bit and ministered to her, sat her down in a chair, laid hands on her in Jesus' name, and that was it.
-
They left.
-
About 30 minutes later my phone rang and he said oh, I got to tell you this.
-
It was a little blessing.
-
He said we got in the car and before we pulled away from your house, she said boy, that was weird.
-
And teenager, that was weird.
-
He said what do you mean weird?
-
She said well, I just had this feeling.
-
What do you mean feeling?
-
Well, I just feel like electricity all over my body.
-
Well, paige, you know what that is?
-
Well, no, I don't.
-
She said that's God's healing power.
-
He's healed you and she was healed and she went, participated in that meet and she was doing really well.
-
But then she had a stress fracture in another area of her body.
-
She fell out of the competition and the one that won that competition was Mary Lou Retton, and the one that went to the Olympics and won five gold medals was her, was her staple man.
-
So that's the girl that was injured in a car wreck a year and a year and a half later.
-
And here I am and I'm thinking two things.
-
Number one how could this be a news item in Corpus Christi?
-
Who knows her?
-
It's almost like it was supernatural.
-
It's almost like God wanted me to see that.
-
That happened Friday night.
-
This is Sunday night and I just had a witness.
-
I've got to go to Houston.
-
I've got to pray for this girl.
-
I have a history with her and I have a history with her dad.
-
They have conf.
-
You know, sometimes you, you've got to play everything in your favor.
-
If people have confidence in you, if people look to you, then God can, many times can use you.
-
You're not the healer, but you know you're the conduit.
-
I'm actively frustrating the devil.
-
I knew the devil wanted to ruin her life, ruin her parents life, interrupt her.
-
Are you with me now?
-
They're Lutheran.
-
They don't know what I know, they don't have the teaching I have.
-
So anyway, I got in my car.
-
I told my boss, yeah, I got to go out.
-
Okay, yeah, go ahead.
-
And I got there.
-
Herman hospital looked in on her by herself in the room, had this halo around her neck keeping her immobile.
-
Christopher Reeve, remember Superman, you know.
-
He fell off a horse, broke his neck.
-
That's what the devil wanted her, wanted her in a wheelchair like this where she couldn't move neck down, 18 years old.
-
Well, I didn't dare go in there by myself with her in the room by herself.
-
I just thought, yeah, I better wait for a nurse, wait for somebody.
-
And about five minutes later, here comes her mother and dad down the hall and he smiles.
-
He said I knew you were coming.
-
I said, well, I just heard about it last night.
-
Told him a story.
-
I said it's amazing that they carried it on the news in Corpus.
-
I said we're.
-
You know Jesus wants to heal her.
-
We know it.
-
Well, we're going to lay hands on her.
-
It's okay, I'm going to lay hands on her in a minister tour.
-
She's had a little smile on her face because she remembered the last time I prayed for her.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I laid hands on her in Jesus name.
-
I didn't see anything, feel anything.
-
I didn't feel any electricity, I didn't see any sparks, I didn't see an angel.
-
I didn't see anything, feel anything.
-
I just in Jesus name and I left and I didn't hear a thing.
-
Nobody called me and I would think about it.
-
I think, well, bless God, she's running around.
-
She's walking around, thank you Lord.
-
So then, as time went by, we moved back to Houston, 1987.
-
This is 1985.
-
Move back to Houston.
-
One of the first places I went was their house.
-
They lived on the block behind us when we went back, when we lived in that particular subdivision, and so I went knocking on their door.
-
Oh yeah, wow, I came to check on our girl.
-
Oh, she's doing great.
-
I'm glad to hear it.
-
You know, I kind of wanted to chastise him, for I mean, why don't you testify?
-
Thank you, I didn't do it, but I sure would like to hear about it.
-
And so he called her.
-
She came over and she just a little fire plugged.
-
And what is she doing?
-
She's working for the Crowley's, teaching gymnastics.
-
And she said, mr Griner.
-
She said, I'm perfectly fine, every part of me, you know.
-
Just within a few days after you left, I walked out of the hospital.
-
They were amazed.
-
They kept me over trying to check me and figure out what happened and everything.
-
But my spinal cord was just all healed and the bone went back together.
-
I have no problems.
-
All I have is I have deadness in the tip of my left little finger right here, just the very tip of it.
-
I don't have any feeling, but I'm able to operate.
-
Doesn't matter, just a little reminder of what Jesus did for me.
-
Oh, come on, let's lift our hand.
-
I mean, we can listen.
-
We don't have to put up with a devil and his mess.
-
Well, yeah, but you're a minister.
-
No, but you are too, you're a minister of the new coming.
-
Everybody say active resistance, all right, then the passive resistance just comes from another testimony of mine.
-
I've told it recently but I'm gonna tell it again this morning.
-
But I had open heart surgery four years ago and in the surgery they did a procedure inside of my heart, inside of the inside tissue of one of the heart, and they cauterize it, they scar it with with scaples.
-
I'm not sure if they used a scaplar or a laser, I'm not sure which tool, but what they do is they scuff it up and that causes the electrical, rogue electrical signal to not go through the heart.
-
You know, if a rogue electrical see your heart's electrical, you know I have an electrician and a plumber.
-
My electrician just recently fired me.
-
He said I don't need to see you and I said well, thank you, I was gonna fire you first but you fired me.
-
I like the way this is working out.
-
I don't like being fired anyway.
-
No, I was glad to be released but when they did it I was under anesthesia for so long.
-
In a typical heart surgery hour and a half, maybe two hours, I was in there five.
-
And you know, every minute you're in under that with a heart-lung machine operating you, your chances of survival are going down, down, down.
-
They got very concerned about that and they quit the procedure and they left it uncompleted.
-
I didn't know that, they didn't tell me, but the cat was out of the bag back this past July and I started having for the second time since my surgery.
-
I started having what I thought was atrial fibrillation, which is an irregular heartbeat.
-
Well, actually what it was was atrial flutter, which is a lot more serious and generally fatal if you don't get to the hospital.
-
I didn't know that.
-
God knew it, but I've got atrial flutter and I mean my heart rate was 180 beats a minute and I couldn't sleep for three days.
-
I preached up here with atrial flutter one Sunday.
-
I didn't know that's what I had, or I'd have been at the emergency room, but anyway.
-
So laying there in the ICU, they're trying everything.
-
Well, actually it was the emergency room first, then ICU emergency room.
-
I'm laying there and I'm just.
-
I've got sleep deprivation and slept.
-
In several days I've got this elevated heart rate, short of breath, I couldn't breathe and I'm pretty miserable.
-
I didn't talk to the devil.
-
I started talking to my heart.
-
I said look, heart.
-
Now God gave me Isaiah 55.
-
Isaiah 55, you know, god's word out of his mouth accomplishes what he pleases.
-
It prospers in the thing where to it is sent.
-
I said God's word in my mouth does the same thing.
-
God's word in his mouth.
-
I've been talking to you, heart, for 15 years.
-
I told you to beat with a sinus rhythm through open blood vessels, free of plaque obstructions and clots.
-
I told you that 15 years.
-
For 15 years, every night of my life, I tell you that you are gonna line up right now.
-
You're gonna line up in Jesus name and stop this flutter and stop this shortness of breath and stop all this mess.
-
I mean, I was looking up at the ceiling and the smoke detector was moving like this.
-
How many of you know it was not moving.
-
I knew it wasn't the devil, I knew it's just my body.
-
It's what they do to torture.
-
One of the torture methods is sleep deprivation.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I'm talking about passive resistance.
-
I had been passively, I had been hedging against any attacks on my heart, demanding my heart be normal, and yet this attack came.
-
I didn't just come unglued, I just started reminding God.
-
I believe it was a rainbow word of God.
-
You know, if you'll look further, in Ephesians, chapter six, it talks about taking upon the whole armor of God and all of the pieces of armor, the helmet of salvation, the loins gird about with truth, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, and so forth and so on.
-
Shield of faith.
-
All of those are defensive or passive resistance, but one one is offense.
-
What is that?
-
The sword of the spirit, which is the Ramah of God.
-
God dropped in my spirit, isaiah 55.
-
I took out my sword of the spirit.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Oh, come on, let's lift our hands right now.
-
Glory to God.
-
But I also, you know, I had that shield of faith.
-
I had that.
-
I had that passive.
-
Why was it passive?
-
Because I had been using it before I needed it.
-
See, there's so much prevention we can do if we'll just if we'll pay attention to ourselves, spend some time on yourself.
-
Are you valuable?
-
Some people don't have a picture of themselves as being valuable.
-
You're very valuable.
-
You're members of the resistance.
-
How can we effectively campaign with missing you?
-
If you're out, if you're taken out for any reason, oh, but I'm just well listen.
-
Quit thinking that way.
-
Start thinking like the king, start thinking kingdom, start thinking about the fact that you're part of a crack outfit, that you bring gifts and anointings to the table that the church must have, and let's start actively and passively resisting the devil and demon power and everything they throw at us.
-
Let's join the resistance.
-
Come on, lift your hand and receive Hallelujah, hallelujah.
-
Come on, let's shout a little bit.
-
Praise God, hallelujah, we're on the winning side.
-
You know, ours is just an occupying army.
-
We just have to remind the devil he's defeated, slap him upside the head every now and then.
-
Hey dummy, why don't you roar after the kill.
-
That's because you can't kill me.
-
Ha ha ha, I'm roaring, I'm roaring.
-
Ah, glory to God, hallelujah.
-
Thank you, lord.
-
Come on, let's lift our hands.
-
Father, we thank you today.
-
Thank God for the Holy Ghost, thank God for the Word of God, thank God our faith is being marshaled and increased for the days that are ahead.
-
I'll tell you that the church is beginning to wake up, segments of it that have been asleep.
-
I was reading the other day where many, many people, many Christians, have gotten out of the habit of going to church.
-
Amen, because of the.
-
Just think about the pastors that didn't resist the devil and they just went ahead and cooperated with a demonic shutdown, the idea that the church is non-essential.
-
I couldn't do it, I won't do it.
-
You can't make me believe that.
-
And so, therefore, I couldn't shut down.
-
I gave the president 15 days.
-
He asked for it.
-
I gave it to him, the Holy Ghost.
-
I mean, I'd already announced we were gonna stay open and then I had to go back and change it.
-
It kind of made me look like I had egg on my face.
-
I don't care, I'm just a messenger boy, I'm not in charge of anything, but I did that.
-
We stayed closed 15 days and then after that we opened from Palm Sunday and then Easter Sunday.
-
And I mean people there, news media I didn't know the news media was gonna be that interested in that.
-
Boy.
-
They were real interested in that.
-
We had death threats.
-
We had, you know, mean Facebook posts.
-
We had all kinds of stuff.
-
You're just a spreader.
-
You're killing people.
-
Why would you kill anybody?
-
They're the ones that are killing people.
-
Biden's the one that's killing people.
-
He killed a bunch of Afghans.
-
He killed a bunch of American citizens.
-
Ukraine, I mean, my God, how can you screw things up any worse?
-
Well, he's not in charge.
-
He's the one that's on the camera.
-
Putin invades and he goes to Delaware.
-
So, yeah, I just believe that we're on the forefront of some great days ahead.
-
You know, some of the things that are going on are in the Bible.
-
Yeah, yeah, what's happening in the Ukraine is right there in the Black Sea, it's right close to Turkey.
-
It's all, all of those.
-
We're watching the nations that Jesus said to watch.
-
He said watch the fig tree, which is Israel, and all the other prophetic nations.
-
And when you start reading those in Psalm 83 and Jeremiah and Isaiah, they're the ones that are being affected.
-
Did you know that Muslims are marshaling their forces inside of the Ukraine the Chechnians and they're ready to attack the Ukrainians on behalf of Russia?
-
Yep, so, folks, what's going on right now is should we pray?
-
Well, yeah, we can pray, but we can't stop everything from happening, because it's written, and these wars and rumors of wars are gonna happen and the end is not yet.
-
Jesus said the end is not yet.
-
When you see that the end is not yet, so the end's not yet, we still got a ways to go.
-
Plenty of plenty of room for us to actively and passively resist.
-
Amen, praise God, hallelujah.
