Lift our bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.
-
Let's say this together say heavenly Father Glad to be in church.
-
This is my custom when it's Sunday morning.
-
I am in church with a heart that's receptive to Bible knowledge.
-
Faith cometh by hearing and hearing.
-
There might be some things I've already heard this morning, but I'm gonna hear some of new things as well.
-
And so today I'm gonna be watered and I'm gonna be planted with something new and I'm bringing forth for your glory in Jesus name, amen.
-
I've got a few verses here, three different places today.
-
I just wanna Galatians, chapter three.
-
This is 313, galatians 313, how about that?
-
And then Hebrews 11 and 2 Corinthians 8.
-
Let's start with Galatians 313.
-
It says Christ hath redeemed in the King James.
-
In other words, it's already done.
-
It's not gonna be in the sweet by and by, it's not gonna be in the future.
-
Hath redeemed means past tense, right.
-
Christ hath redeemed us from what?
-
From the curse of the law being made a curse for us.
-
For it is written cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree.
-
That the blessing, or so that the blessing.
-
Everybody shout the blessings.
-
Mind Say the blessings.
-
Mind Say he was cursed so we could be blessed, that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles and that through Jesus Christ and we might receive the promise of the spirit.
-
Through faith we might receive.
-
That says might there.
-
We're gonna get into might here in just a minute, because the might's not on God's side.
-
God's already established something.
-
Who's the might on?
-
It's on us, and whether we receive it or not, all right.
-
Look at Hebrews 11.
-
One Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.
-
So it defines faith for you in a different way.
-
Faith gives substance to your hope.
-
That's why the devil would like to steal all hope out of your heart, make you think it can never be better than it is now.
-
In fact it's getting worse.
-
That's what he wants you to think.
-
So if he can get you in that position, the way that he has millions of Christians that ought to know better, amen, I believe we're like Dr Avery said last week.
-
I think we're one of the 25, we're part of the 25% that did not drink the Kule.
-
Amen, all right.
-
And then the last one is found in second Corinthians, chapter eight.
-
Paul speaking to the Corinthian church.
-
He said for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that, though he's rich, people say Jesus was poor.
-
He was.
-
Listen, he had an endowment, you know, remember, the kings of the East brought him gold, frankincense and more.
-
I mean he was rich all of his life, are you kidding?
-
It was at the end that he gave it away.
-
It was at the end that he would lost everything Buried in a borrowed tomb, lost all his clothes.
-
He hung naked on the cross.
-
That's when he became poor and he did it for us.
-
This was the verse.
-
It says you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor, that you, through his poverty, might be rich.
-
I like the message.
-
Let me read it to you.
-
In the message, you are familiar with the generosity of our master Jesus Christ.
-
Rich as he was, rich as he was, he gave it all away for us.
-
In one stroke he became poor and we became past tense rich, we became rich, we became rich.
-
Some of you are gonna believe that sometime today.
-
I'm not gonna quit preaching this to you.
-
Believe it, and you know my message is entitled believing for abundance.
-
Believing for abundance.
-
How many of you appreciated the ministry of our doctor last week, dr Jackson.
-
I told him thank you for not just going through the entire Bible and quoting 55 verses of scripture.
-
I mean, he helped us connect the dots.
-
You know what?
-
We have the word already.
-
We get the word all the time here and what we needed to hear was from his standpoint and I just got so much out of what he said and he talked about.
-
He didn't call it this, but the psychological operation that's been performed on the American people.
-
We're a real whole world.
-
This is what this is PSI ops.
-
This is psychological operations to get people to believe a lie.
-
And he's talked about 25% that absolutely believe the lie.
-
They drank the Kool-Aid and they're still afraid.
-
And you got 25% like us.
-
It will not bow and will not bend and will not ever go along with it, and that leaves about 40% of people that kind of go back and forth and that's our place where we can make an influence.
-
That's the people we need to target.
-
That's the people we need to give them reason for our excitement.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
And at lunch we had such great conversations and I gave him a.
-
He was talking about the image of people.
-
Just see themselves.
-
People looking the mirror right now and they see themselves needing masks.
-
They see themselves that they're gonna have a jab, or two, or three or four, however many they're told.
-
They don't take as many jabs as they're told.
-
They'll do whatever they're told.
-
Why?
-
Because they are desperate.
-
They're afraid of death and they've seen a few people that they love die, and it's tough, I admit, but people die every year of everything that you can think of.
-
People die every year of heart disease.
-
They die every year of diabetes.
-
All those are bad ways to die.
-
I don't know of a good way to die except lay back in your chair and say I'm going home to be with Jesus.
-
There are people that do that.
-
Brother Hagen was one of them.
-
He ate a big old bunch of strawberry shortcake with whipped cream on it.
-
He's back in his recliner and they came back in to pick up the dish and he was gone.
-
Whoo, that's a good way to go, isn't it?
-
Belly full of short strawberry shortcake.
-
He didn't die in hospice.
-
He didn't die gasping for air.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
They see themselves as sick people needing a lot of help.
-
They need to be way away from people.
-
They're the ones that are cruising down the road by themselves in a car with a mask on.
-
I'm not making fun, I'm not.
-
It's heartbreaking to see people like that.
-
They see themselves different than reality because they've been sold a bill of goods.
-
I'm ready to get rid of all these politicians that did that.
-
I wanna kick every one of them out and I wanna punish them.
-
See, I'm not satisfied with just getting them out of office.
-
I want them punished because in my view they committed treason.
-
I know that's kinda strong, but I'm strong, god's strong, all right.
-
And then you've got people that see themselves as poor.
-
They need government help, especially now.
-
See, here we went through three years or two years of pandemic and then you got Congress passing trillion dollar bills full of pork and junk that doesn't do anything except cause inflation.
-
Oh no, putin calls the inflation.
-
Putin's got an economy.
-
The entire economy of Russia is less than Texas by itself.
-
They couldn't cause anything like that.
-
They don't have that financial power to cause.
-
But what we'll do when you print a whole lot of money and flood the market with a whole bunch of printed brand new money that they printed and throw it at stuff?
-
Their favorite causes?
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So people look and they see themselves as poor.
-
Oh God, oh please, government, do something.
-
I'm not gonna be able.
-
I've got pain at the pump.
-
I've got pain at the grocery store line.
-
Oh, do something, government.
-
Well, they're gonna do something.
-
They've got a plan to do something.
-
That's why I'm preaching this this morning.
-
And I just told Dr Avery last, you know, last week, at lunch, I said you know, it's like anorexia, they have anorexia.
-
You take a person with anorexia.
-
What do they see?
-
They see themselves as fat, they see themselves as ugly and they've got to quit eating and they're not seeing themselves as the way they really are.
-
They've been deceived.
-
I happen to think that's a demon power and I think all of this is a demon power.
-
It's called the spirit of antichrist.
-
But you know what?
-
We have the antidote, because the church is the pillar and ground of the truth, and we have the truth of the Word of God that we can reinforce ourselves, because, I tell you, we need to be reinforced by the idea of believing for abundance.
-
The Bible says otherwise.
-
We do not listen.
-
I mean, we, we've already been healed.
-
We're not trying to get healed.
-
Oh, I just, oh, I'm just believing for God to heal.
-
Well, he already healed you by his tribes.
-
You were healed, you.
-
What's the basis is?
-
Have you received your healing?
-
Have you laid hands on it and brought it into you?
-
Yeah, man, and Jesus has already been cursed.
-
When you read the curses Deuteronomy 28, 50, some odd 56 verses of nothing but curses, is every kind of sickness, every kind of disease, and it's also lacking poverty.
-
That's a curse.
-
It's not a blessing.
-
It's a blessing not to have enough money to fill your tank up with gas.
-
Have to just put a quarter of a tank in at a time because it's so expensive.
-
That's a curse.
-
It's a curse not to have to just say well, I just gonna be beans and cornbread now for a while, cause we, we, we can't afford that meat.
-
Woo, we can't afford that.
-
We can't even afford baloney, we can't even afford a potted meat, viennese sausage, we're gonna have to go back.
-
Beans and rice.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
But I, when I look into the mirror of the word of God, I see a person who is blessed in Christ.
-
I have been redeemed from the curse of poverty.
-
The Bible says my God shall supply all my need according to his riches and glory.
-
By Christ Jesus, the Philippians 419,.
-
It's not just something we can quote.
-
We have to live by that right now.
-
See, legally we're blessed, legally we're healed, but sometimes there's a gap between what's legal and what's functional, or what we have actually laid hold on by our faith.
-
That's why you need the word of God.
-
I wanna challenge you this morning that you need to believe for abundance, right in the face of what we're facing.
-
Remember that word we had two years ago about 2020 being the greatest year yet, and for most of the people in America and all over the world, 2020 was the worst year yet.
-
They don't ever wanna remember 2020.
-
Well, you know what?
-
It was the greatest year yet for us, cause God said it would be.
-
We sowed the seed toward it.
-
We started upgrading and updating all the.
-
I mean we replaced a bunch of air conditioning units.
-
We redid the whole platform.
-
We're working, still working on all kinds of things.
-
We increased our missions, giving the people that have not yet ever heard the gospel or hearing the gospel because of this church's giving.
-
I don't have a big heart to keep preaching the word all over America and paying missionaries to America.
-
They've heard the gospel and a lot of them have rejected it.
-
Let's go to the people, the unreached people groups, and there's still unreached people, groups that have never heard the name of Jesus.
-
We need to get them the message of the gospel, or else we have disobeyed God and we're doing that.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So the word might means we have to believe, we receive, and to believe you receive.
-
You've got to want it, you've got to desire it.
-
And see, one of those tricky things about money is is that Christians are ambivalent, double-minded about money.
-
Y'all with me now?
-
Yeah, maybe you aren't, maybe you're not.
-
Maybe you've heard me preach long enough people that I bring in here, brother Mark, but there's lots and lots of Christians.
-
We're approaching 10,000 followers on my Facebook page and, I'd have to say, most of them that post regularly don't have any revelation of prosperity.
-
They think money is dirty, they think to desire money is a sin.
-
And to be like a farmer saying I can't believe for a plow, I can't believe for a tractor, that's just ridiculous.
-
Just give me a mule, that's all I need.
-
Well, you know you can plow 40 acres with a mule and a plow, and you know you can.
-
But if you've got 3,000 acres.
-
You're not going to make it with a mule and a plow.
-
You're going to need something higher tech.
-
Listen, money is a tool.
-
Money is a tool of the harvest.
-
If we're going to reap a harvest in this world of souls, we're going to have to pay the laborers.
-
That's what Jesus said.
-
That's what Paul said.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
How can they hear without a preacher?
-
It takes money to go.
-
It takes money to sin.
-
Are y'all with me?
-
Money is a tool.
-
Money is not good or evil Money.
-
It takes on the character of the person that's handling it.
-
So in that case, a lot of the money that's being taken and stolen from us in the form of taxes is evil because it's being used for all kinds of evil purposes.
-
How can we change it?
-
Get rid of the people that are doing the evil?
-
So many Christians agree mentally with the idea of abundance.
-
Oh yeah, god's a bless, oh, god's a good God.
-
Yes, a lot of Christians.
-
They mentally agree.
-
But then, when you challenge them, are you believing for more?
-
Are you believing for abundance?
-
What is abundance?
-
More than enough.
-
I just got through reading Second Chronicles.
-
I was all in there and about the kings and stuff and I read about Hezekiah.
-
Hezekiah was one of the good kings in Judah and he restored the tithe, he got things in order, he tore down the altars to Baal and he had revival.
-
And the result of that was Hezekiah was so blessed.
-
God blessed him with lands and monies, and I mean kings of all around the Thranian countries came and brought him gifts.
-
They brought him gold and silver.
-
I mean heaps and heaps.
-
They just heaped it up, heaps and heaps.
-
I mean there was no shortage.
-
God just said oh now, Hezekiah, you've got way too much.
-
Now I'm gonna take a lot of this away from you, but have you ever read what the temple was like?
-
Solid gold, wall and wood.
-
And then they overplated it with solid gold wall, ceilings, floors of gold, silver, precious stones.
-
Are y'all with me?
-
I mean God, it's not a cheapskate.
-
So you challenge people to believe for more.
-
Oh, brother, I don't give to get.
-
No, well, of course we don't give to get.
-
That would be wrong, that would be a wrong motive.
-
I'm gonna give in this offering.
-
I used to hear these begathons all the time.
-
I'd have some fancy Dan up there with a puffed up hair and all of that Trying to get you to give to support Christian television and I just, you know, I just nauseated, I couldn't hear it, I couldn't listen to it.
-
Sorry if you're a Christian.
-
Television has its place, but that begathon business I just can't stand the way that.
-
Oh, you know, god told me on the way to the studio if you just give $57, and God's gonna pay off your mortgage, well, that's a lie and you know it's a lie.
-
So people are sending in $57 to get their mortgage paid off.
-
Are you gonna pay the mortgage off, preacher?
-
It's just a lie.
-
It's a get rich quick scheme.
-
That is wrong motive.
-
I mean we give because we love God, we wanna honor Him and we wanna see the gospel preach.
-
It's just that simple.
-
That's why we give.
-
But when we give we also believe we receive what Jesus said we could have, and that is that we are gonna get a multiplication back.
-
The whole kingdom operates on as if a man cast seed into the ground and he sleeps and rise night and day and the seed growth up he knoweth not how and it becomes first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn.
-
After that he put it in the sickle, for the harvest is come.
-
That's the way the kingdom is designed.
-
If you're not gonna believe that you have the benefit when you plant your financial seed, then you're not doing what the Word says to do.
-
So you're really in disobedience.
-
There's two grunts and three omis.
-
I wanna blast this idea out of this double mindedness of thinking about prosperity.
-
You're not one of those prosperity preachers.
-
I had one guy post on my Facebook.
-
You're not one of those.
-
Name it and claim it, guys.
-
Or you're not one of those prosperity preachers, are you?
-
Well, what are you?
-
A poverty preacher?
-
You goof ball.
-
No wonder people don't want anything to do with the church.
-
No wonder they wanna just go party.
-
Because you got one over here, one group over here, that goes completely to seed on it, saying that $57 will pay off your mortgage.
-
That's stupid.
-
And then over here you got the group that says, oh, prosperity for you.
-
One real prosperity.
-
God's a prosperity.
-
God, he wants you blessed.
-
Jesus wants you blessed.
-
That's why he took all the curses on himself so you could be blessed, amen.
-
So let's not just mentally agree with it.
-
Let's challenge ourselves to raise our sights right in the middle of what we're at right now.
-
I know where we're at.
-
I've been to the store and I've been to the gas pump.
-
I know exactly where we are.
-
We're where we are by design, it's on purpose.
-
It's not Putin that did it, it's on purpose.
-
Well, we don't have to live that way.
-
I said we don't have to live that way.
-
We have what Our supply, and our supply is not the federal government.
-
Our supply, our source, is not our job or it's not our retirement account.
-
Some of you are retired and you draw income out of your retirement account.
-
The rest of it stays invested and hopefully, as your investments get prosperous and grow, and then you have money to live on.
-
But that's not your only source.
-
God's your source.
-
I said God's your source.
-
No, we don't give to get, but we give with an expectation, just like a farmer.
-
A farmer doesn't plant seed and think, oh well, it doesn't matter if I get a crop, it's okay.
-
I know I spent $100,000 on seed corn, but that's irrelevant, I just love to plant, come on, I love to give too.
-
I love to see the results of giving.
-
I like to see that a missionary is giving.
-
A missionary is able to do projects and things.
-
I love to see those Malawi orphans be able to eat, and now that we've been feeding them.
-
They're better in school.
-
I mean in every way, that whole place is better than it was when we started supporting them.
-
I love to see that, but that's not why I give.
-
I give because I want to love God.
-
I love God and I know, in order to keep giving, I've got to receive back.
-
I've got to believe something.
-
What do I believe?
-
I got to believe for what More?
-
I want to believe for more, because it's going to take more to help people.
-
Now, brother, how much is enough?
-
I've got plenty.
-
Well, you've got plenty right now, but another couple of years of what we're having right now, you might not have plenty.
-
They're saying the inflation rate 7.5%.
-
If you believe that I've got some land in Southern Louisiana, I'd like to show you.
-
It's a little bit wet right now.
-
Actually, it's wet all the time.
-
At night, when you shine a light, you see these eyes looking at you from under the water.
-
It's a pretty good cash crop, you know, really, I mean it's probably closer to 20%, maybe 30%, I don't know.
-
Just say it's 20%.
-
So if you had a $1,000 savings, they stole 200 bucks from you in a year.
-
It's worth $800.
-
What you had in a bank $1,000 a year ago.
-
It's worth 800 now.
-
So I hope you have enough.
-
I hope you're abundant.
-
See, that's why I'm challenging you.
-
We've got to raise our sights and get rid of religious thinking when it comes to our money or we're gonna be, as they say, a day late and a dollar short.
-
I don't wanna be that way.
-
Amen.
-
How about you?
-
We have to resist the temptation to cave into the idea that our best days are behind us financially.
-
So let's believe for abundance, let's believe for increase.
-
So I got three takeaways this morning that I wanna give you to help you.
-
The first one as we said, we've been redeemed from the curse of the law and this idea of anorexia, a wrong image of yourself.
-
See yourself with abundance.
-
See yourself with plenty of money.
-
When you look at your checkbook, I know it's gonna be accurate.
-
You've got to keep accurate records.
-
You don't want to be overdrawn at the bank.
-
But when you see it, talk to it.
-
Start looking at the balance and say, man, I see, you know, maybe you've got less than a hundred dollars in there, and start saying I've got thousands of dollars in there.
-
Don't start saying I got millions of dollars when all you've got is chicken feed.
-
Start where you are and move up.
-
Start seeing more in your just look at it and see it.
-
Because God said you've got a supply.
-
Well, that's a lie.
-
No, it's not a lie.
-
It's calling them things that be, not as though they were.
-
You're going to have to say it.
-
You're going to have to see it.
-
That's faith Now.
-
You don't go spend it like it's there.
-
Put it on the card like it's there.
-
Well, I said I had thousands of dollars, so I went out and I bought a brand new car.
-
Well, no, that's kind of dumb.
-
But see yourself with abundance.
-
He took the curse of poverty.
-
You're blessed in Him.
-
See yourself in Him.
-
We're blessed in Christ.
-
I mean, when you're reading your Bible which is you need to read your Bible every day, almost every day you're going to come across some scripture that calls you blessed and just put your Bible down, lift your hands up.
-
Glory to God, glory to be the Lord who daily loateth me with benefits, even the God of my salvation.
-
I'm loaded.
-
Glory to God, honey, we're loaded.
-
That's lying.
-
Well, no, it's calling them things that be not as though they were.
-
You're going to have to start seeing yourself.
-
See yourself with abundance.
-
I like to say it this way you know Hebrews 11-1,.
-
You've got to have a desire, you've got to have a hope, you have to have a positive expectation.
-
If you're hopeless, if you've already given up, if you meditate on the narrative instead of the truth of the Word, the narrative is what you hear every day, all day long.
-
It's a drumbeat.
-
It doesn't matter whether it's local television or Fox News or any news, it doesn't matter.
-
It's a drumbeat of negative.
-
It's a drumbeat of what this world system wants you to take away and to get you in fear.
-
Fear of running out is really quiet, right along with the fear of death.
-
Right now, fear of death is the fear of all this.
-
And now that this COVID thing is supposedly subsiding well, they've got another one coming up behind it.
-
They'll always be.
-
Now that they've learned how to manipulate the population with sickness, they'll have another one, because this was man made.
-
I said this was man made.
-
That's why I say that I want them punished.
-
It's not enough just to get them out of office.
-
Well, that was the other that's overseeing.
-
Well, no, we have people right here in America that cooperated with that and even funded it.
-
So I want them punished.
-
I'm crying against them.
-
Oh, you're supposed to pray for their salvation.
-
No, I don't pray for their salvation.
-
They've already been exposed.
-
They have rejected the gospel.
-
I don't waste time praying for their soul.
-
I pray for them to be punished.
-
I pray for them to get out of the place of influence and I pray for them to be punished.
-
That's justice.
-
That's judgment.
-
We're supposed to wield judgment in the church?
-
The church is so ignorant about our role.
-
Who will let him that has sinned, has not sinned, cast the first stone?
-
Well, that's.
-
You're taking that completely out of context.
-
That has nothing to do with judgment that the church should be wielding in prayer.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I mean, the church prayed for Peter to be freed from prison, and the next and later, in that same chapter, herod died eating with worms.
-
And read your Bible.
-
They didn't pray for his salvation.
-
I can guarantee you that.
-
Are y'all with me?
-
Oh, pastor, it's getting well.
-
You know, the church needs to be shook up.
-
So more than just you are hearing this, and I want to.
-
I want.
-
If they don't like it, I want to.
-
I want to hear it.
-
I don't want.
-
I want to be the sand in the oyster.
-
It makes a pearl.
-
Okay, I like to play what.
-
What if I've been playing?
-
What if, lately I'll spend an hour playing what if what?
-
What if I had millions of dollars?
-
I'm at the level where I'm going for millions.
-
I'm not.
-
You know the letter the smaller amounts.
-
You might have to start with a thousand, you might have to start with 500.
-
I don't know, but I think about what would I do if I had millions of dollars.
-
What if I had $30 million?
-
And I'll spend an hour thinking about everything I would want to do with that money and it's amazing how quick it leaves.
-
I mean, I get on there and I put this, this, and pretty soon it's all gone.
-
You're thinking, oh God, come on pastor.
-
Well, see, I mean, are you not playing?
-
What if I challenge you to do that?
-
You break this religious idea that somehow what you have is enough, because it is not enough.
-
It's not enough for the kingdom for us to sit and stand pat waiting for Jesus to come back.
-
We're going to have to increase and God's expecting us to Amen.
-
I was listening to Dennis Prager a couple of years ago.
-
He's on 1070, which is also a radio station we run our spots on, and Dennis is a rabbi and he, of course he was talking about his Passover service and he said man, I have people come from great distances to be in my synagogue for my Passover service.
-
I'm known for having a really top notch Passover and I mean we roll it out, we've got all the food, we've got all of the pageantry, it is a first class.
-
And of course I charge.
-
I charge for tickets, for a seat, and boy you know, I heard that and I, man, my ears perked up, I kind of chuckled a little bit.
-
And he said all my Christian friends, they just can't get over that.
-
You mean to tell me that you charge people to come to your synagogue during Passover, really?
-
He said well, why wouldn't I?
-
It's cost of fortune to do what I do and nobody has what I have and it's worth it.
-
And if I don't charge it, I can't put it on like that.
-
I mean because people wouldn't commit to coming.
-
They might say they're coming and then not show up.
-
And I just started laughing.
-
He said you know, the thing I've noticed about my Christian friends is most of them have a big hang up about money.
-
That we just don't have as Jews.
-
We don't have hang ups about money.
-
I just started laughing.
-
I slapped my knee.
-
I said, man, that Dennis, he knows what he's talking about.
-
I started listening to Dennis.
-
He made a convert out of me.
-
I started listening to him.
-
He got a lot of wisdom.
-
That guy ought to be a Christian.
-
He ought to be born again Christian, really.
-
But he's right, we've got to blast this ambivalence about abundance out.
-
We need abundance and we need it for the harvest sake.
-
Could we you know?
-
Are you with me now?
-
It's just a tool, that's all All right.
-
Let's look at 2 Corinthians 8.
-
That's the one we read about.
-
Jesus was made poor that we might be rich.
-
Look at a couple of verses up verse 7.
-
He's talking about an offering that he's going to want them to give into.
-
And verse 7, therefore, as you abound in everything and faith, he's talking to the Corinthian church.
-
He said, therefore, as you abound in everything and faith, and in utterance and knowledge, and in all diligence and in your love to us, you're abounding all those things.
-
See that you abound in this grace also.
-
And he's responding to the grace of giving.
-
Well, the grace of giving would be nothing if you didn't have the grace of receiving to go along with it, because the grace of giving would mean that you would be all ready to give and give and give and once you gave it and you didn't receive the way that the Bible says you can, you wouldn't be able to give that way again.
-
It would be going that you would be exhausted after a short time.
-
The kind of money we put into missions alone in this church, if we weren't believing for the increase to come, we would have been broke a long time ago Because we had a mortgage to pay.
-
I told you about that mortgage, right?
-
Y'all remember Silver, remember $31,900 a month mortgage payment and then on top of that we gave thousands a month's admissions.
-
How in the world could you do that?
-
Because we started exercising ourselves in the grace to receive as well as to give.
-
I said we started exercising, so we're challenged to see to it, see to it, see to it, want it, desire it, seek to abound in the grace of giving and receiving.
-
See, I think we just always.
-
It's important to give.
-
It's very important.
-
I appreciate Brother Mark, but he also talks about receiving.
-
He talks about receiving, so we need to talk about receiving.
-
I had a precious couple come to me some time ago and they just said, pastor, we're going to give X amount of dollars above our tide and normal offerings every month.
-
We're committing that.
-
We want you to know it.
-
And they do.
-
Boy, they bring it in.
-
And I warned them.
-
I said, okay, you're going to do this.
-
You're kicking up your giving a substantial amount for I knew it was a substantial amount compared to what they had given, a substantial amount like double.
-
You're going to kick your giving up double.
-
Then you better kick your receiving up.
-
And I warned them.
-
I said you start believing God for more, more, more, more.
-
You get over there in the scriptures and you start developing your receiver to get more.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Y'all are looking at me kind of funny.
-
Some of you are getting this.
-
Remember Brother Mark talked about sitting at the table with Brother Copeland one time a few years ago and of course, brother Copeland's got a fleet of jets.
-
You don't have just one and he gives jets away.
-
By the way, he gave Billy Brem a jet a few years ago.
-
I don't know, I'm not acquainted with everything he does, but he does a lot of good.
-
He does a lot of good because of why?
-
Because he's developed his receiver so that he can give more and more and more.
-
That's one thing to give, but it's another thing to receive, and you need to receive exponentially more so that you can keep giving.
-
And so Brother Mark is flying around on a prop job and that's better than walking, that's better than driving an SUV, it's better than driving a car with a camper on the back, like he started.
-
Now he's got a prop job.
-
It gets him from 1A to point B better than driving.
-
And so he kind of made this kind of a joke about jets, and Brother Copeland's sitting right across from me.
-
He didn't laugh.
-
He said well, you know you talk about.
-
You need to quit joking about the jet.
-
The Holy Ghost showed me that he'd been trying to get you a jet for two years and you haven't been able to receive it.
-
Blam right in front of everybody.
-
You know he wished it could have been in private, but it wasn't in private.
-
I appreciate Brother Mark telling that story on himself, but see, I listened to it for myself.
-
I'm telling you what I'm child.
-
That's why I sit around thinking about what I do.
-
What if I had $30 million?
-
What if I had $100 million?
-
What if I had $200 million?
-
What if I had a billion dollars, I hadn't made it to a billion yet, but I'm headed there, I'm challenging it.
-
We need to believe for abundance.
-
We need to believe for increase right now.
-
Let's not wait for things to get better.
-
How do we know that things are going to get better in this country?
-
I have no confidence that they will.
-
Oh, they always do.
-
Well, I don't know if they always will.
-
I see my Bible.
-
I see things coming unglued in my Bible.
-
I don't know the schedule, I don't know the timing of everything, but I do know that, no matter what goes on in the world, we have a source, we have a supply that's supernatural, that is based on our faith and our believing in him.
-
He's faithful to watch over his word.
-
It's about him, it's not about us.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So, because you tithe and give generously, ask God for the grace to receive more, in other words, for ideas, concepts and insights.
-
God will give you ideas.
-
You know, in Malachi, chapter three, it says bring you all the tithe in the storehouse.
-
He said you know you're cursed with the curse.
-
If you read all of Malachi, chapter three, he says you're cursed with the curse.
-
He's talking to priests, by the way, the Levitical priesthood was robbing God.
-
How we robbed God?
-
Well, you've robbed him in tithes and offerings.
-
Talking to the priests, you've robbed me of tithes and offerings.
-
Does God need your money?
-
No, but he wants, he demands your honor.
-
Tithing is all about honor and giving is all about you putting yourself in a position to function in God's heavenly economy.
-
So what did he say about tithing?
-
Bring all the tithes in the storehouse along with the offerings, because they robbed him in tithes and offerings.
-
Tithe is the first temp and then everything.
-
The 90% is all yours and that's where you give.
-
You give out of the 90%.
-
That's where you're giving.
-
Tithing's not giving.
-
There's no giving until you've tithed.
-
Then, once you've tithed and given God back the tithe, which is the first temp, not the last, the first temp, I can't tithe, that can't afford.
-
No, everybody can tithe, it's just a choice.
-
Everyone can tithe because why?
-
It's the first temp, the first temp, the head of Dillard's, the head of, you know, center Point, the head of the mortgage, the first temp is God's and then after that you can give over and above the tithe.
-
If you don't give over and above the tithe, you really kind of rob in God's still because, and also, you're cheating yourself.
-
So what did he say about the tithes and offerings?
-
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in my house and prove me, test me, put me to the test If I won't open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing.
-
There's not room enough to receive, now, that word blessing.
-
There is not money.
-
Why?
-
Because there's no money in heaven.
-
They walk on streets of gold.
-
They don't have any money in heaven, and if God doesn't manufacture money, he would be a counterfeiter if he did Money's down here.
-
So what does he open the windows of heaven and pour you out?
-
What is it that you get?
-
You get ideas, concepts and insights.
-
You get revelation knowledge about what, how to maneuver in this world.
-
You know when you need to prepare, resume and move and get out of the place where you're at, maybe get another job someplace else.
-
You get revelation knowledge about what you can do to have multiple screams of income.
-
Why?
-
Why do you put up with just having a J-O-B and that's it?
-
Maybe there's another thing that God could open a door for you, especially those of you that are retired, that you don't really have a job anymore.
-
You don't go to work anymore.
-
Guess what you could take some of your retirement.
-
You might even be able to have a small business that would generate some extra income for yourself.
-
Everybody say ideas, concepts and insights Jacob did.
-
Jacob had a need.
-
He'd been working for his uncle Laban for 14 years for two women, wasn't making any money for himself, made his uncle rich, got sick and tired of that, said it's time for me to have my own.
-
And so he started taking all the speckled cattle and all the spotted cattle and all the weak cattle and he started taking care of them separate.
-
Every time it was one of those they were considered substandard.
-
So he told his uncle I'm going to take the substandard and I'm going to leave you the strong ones.
-
And next thing you know, within a short time his flocks grew and grew, and grew.
-
He had a dream and he whittled some sticks and stuck them in the ground and they started producing every white sheep and every white goat produced a speckled.
-
And so Laban's flock went down and his went up and he was a rich man.
-
Because why?
-
God gave him an idea.
-
And then he developed a concept and then he got insight and he became a sheep and goat breeding expert.
-
Are y'all with me now Breeding your Bible for yourself?
-
In Genesis?
-
That was the way that God God didn't just rein money out of it.
-
And was he a tither?
-
Well, he was a tither.
-
He dedicated himself to being a tither on his way to see Uncle Laban, but for 14 years he didn't have his own income.
-
So the 10% of zero is what?
-
Yeah, y'all get an A in math, praise the Lord.
-
But now suddenly he's got a tithe.
-
I mean there's all kinds of things.
-
I know people that they're retired and they got into real estate and they're not experts at real estate.
-
I was in real estate 25 years.
-
I just about.
-
I guess I didn't really break even.
-
I think I just ended with a loss.
-
I mean it was a living for me some years and other years it was a loss for me and but if I had known then what I know now, I'd been a lot better off.
-
I've learned a few things and I've got people that I know that got into real estate.
-
They go buy an old house that needs to be fixed up.
-
Nobody wants it, cause it's just ratty and yucky and the owners don't.
-
They're out of state and they don't want to fool with it and they buy it under market and they borrow the money to fix it up and turn it into a rent house.
-
They make three, four $500 a month cash flow out of the house, keep it three years, don't pay any income on that because they have depreciation.
-
Then they sell the house and make 15, 20, $25,000 on their investment.
-
They wound up with what?
-
30, $35,000 in three years of income.
-
That mostly is covered by depreciation.
-
They don't pay any taxes on it because they reinvest part of it in the next deal.
-
I mean, hey, there's lots of ways to make money in a down mark.
-
People make money anytime there's a change in the market.
-
But most Christians say, oh, it's inflation.
-
Oh, the houses are so expensive, I can't listen.
-
It doesn't matter how expensive they are, everybody has to live somewhere.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I'm not doing a seminar later.
-
Okay, I'm seeding you.
-
I'm giving you the idea that there are things that God has for you.
-
Don't exclude yourself.
-
Everybody.
-
Draw a circle around yourself.
-
I'm included in God's plan of prosperity, amen.
-
And finally, the last takeaway.
-
On this message I've gone a little longer than I intended to, but I get excited.
-
As you can tell, I have a zealousness to make sure that you have every need met not just met, but above, because my Bible, everywhere I read, is just abundance.
-
God is not a cheap skate.
-
God is not.
-
He's not intimidated by the current financial problems in this nation.
-
There's ways.
-
This nation is still, far and above, the greatest place to be and this is the greatest state to be.
-
I'm convinced there's such opportunity.
-
There's opportunity here.
-
Well, how can you be sure?
-
This last verse is my proof Luke 17, 28,.
-
Resist the idea that your best days financially are over.
-
Look at Luke 17, 28.
-
Jesus is talking about the end days and we are living in the end days.
-
I don't believe Jesus has come in tonight or tomorrow.
-
I believe we still have time.
-
There's too many things left undone that are in the Bible.
-
And be careful of people that are just trying to get you breathless, thinking that Jesus has come at any moment, because they usually have a motive of separating you from your money.
-
Yes, so let's not get all excited and start thinking we're gonna go find a mountain somewhere, put on a white robe and wait for Jesus to come back.
-
No, look at what he said.
-
Look at what he said.
-
Luke 17, 28.
-
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot, they did eat.
-
Who did eat?
-
Everybody?
-
Lot A, the sinners A, the LGBTQ plus plus P A what's the P stand for?
-
Pedophile?
-
It's coming soon.
-
It's coming soon to a school in your neighborhood.
-
Pretty soon there'll be the next group that won't write.
-
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot, they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they build it.
-
In other words, there was opportunities for profit right up until the day that fire and brimstone came and burned the whole thing up.
-
So if that's the way Jesus said it's gonna be before he comes, then there's opportunity for profit right up until the day that Jesus comes back.
-
For the church, we have no right to retire ourselves to a mountainside and wait for him to come and do nothing.
-
We rather we're retired from our job or not.
-
That's your business, but we should not be retired in the idea that God has a financial plan of increase for us.
-
He's got ideas, concepts and insights waiting for you because you're a tither.
-
He said I'll open up the windows of heaven and I'm gonna pour those out, so many that you won't even have room to receive it.
-
You're gonna say God, would you please stop.
-
I don't have enough to process what you're telling me.
-
My brain is going tilt now.
-
Could you just put a pause on it.
-
I'll come back to you next month, cause you've given me so much to think about.
-
I'm gonna have to, man, I'm gonna have to digest that.
-
I've had to have that.
-
I've had to do that.
-
I said I've had to do that.
-
I said I've had to do that.
-
Well, if I've had to do that, you need to do that.
-
I'm telling you, god's not any respecter of persons.
-
Amen, amen.
-
So there's gonna be opportunities to buy and sell, to build and plan until the very day he comes back.
-
I wanna get you the idea that there is opportunity right now.
-
It doesn't matter what the market's doing.
-
It doesn't matter what the housing is doing.
-
It doesn't matter what the inflation rate is.
-
It doesn't matter what the economic climate is.
-
It doesn't matter who's in the White House.
-
It doesn't matter who's.
-
It doesn't matter what they.
-
You know it is something fishy about the Ukraine.
-
What in the world?
-
Why is everybody so excited about the Ukraine?
-
It's all it's a diversion from.
-
If people can get all excited about the Ukraine, then they forget about how terrible it is here and holding people accountable.
-
This one and a half trillion dollar omnibus package they just passed contained billions of dollars six foreign countries for their border security, none for ours.
-
I mean, are these people insane or what?
-
So, regardless of that, god is still on the throne.
-
He's got things for us to do that are beneficial to us.
-
Amen.
-
He wants us blessed beyond measure.
-
Come on, lift your hands and receive today.
-
Hallelujah, glory to God.
-
Thank you, jesus.
-
Did you get anything out of this today?
-
You may not have heard anything new.
-
Now go ahead, don't patty cake.
-
Go ahead and rejoice, yeah, yeah, but God wants equal time.
-
All these people get on the news, and it's not news anymore.
-
Like I said, it's narrative, it's a made up narrative.
-
They've constructed.
-
It's a construct.
-
I mean even channel two.
-
I've been watching channel two for 50 years and I just I'm so tired of them talking about foreign.
-
Why don't you just deal with what's going on here?
-
Tell us more about the raid on the county judge's office.
-
You didn't tell us anything.
-
Tell us more about the 10,000 missing votes.
-
You didn't tell us anything.
-
Gave the Democrat side of it, you goof balls.
-
They've all adopted this narrative.
-
See well, you know what God wanted equal time today and so I decided I'm the pastor and I decided you needed to hear this message.
-
Yes, and I believe it's going to do some good.
