Understanding The Anointing 2

Let's reach down and pick up our Bibles, shall we?

Let's get into the Word and thank you, worship team.

So beautiful today.

What a table setting we have.

You know.

It just sets the table where we can all dine.

Come and dine.

He said Come on, lift those Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

Say this together.

Say, heavenly Father, I'm so glad that you begot me with a word of truth.

I've been born again of the Spirit of God and I have an anointing within me and I believe I've received power Subsequent to that when I've received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

And I have an anointing upon me and this morning I'm experiencing the wonderful glory of God that's irreplaceable when we get together in church.

The corporate anointing is flowing here this morning for all our benefits and we give you praise for it in Jesus' name.

Amen, hallelujah, you can be seated.

Let's turn in our Bibles to our foundation scriptures.

I've already given the secret away.

We're talking about the corporate anointing this morning, but we've been talking having a series on the understanding of the anointing and you know, if you'll listen carefully, I tell people give me a year of your life and of course, a year turns into two years and turns into five years and for some of you it turned into 25 years.

That's what happened to me at Lakewood.

I didn't last 25 years.

I went out on my own after 15 years and started this drive on my own.

He sent me out.

But anyway, first John, chapter two, and it says here, and this is describing John is describing what we've called the inward anointing or the anointing within either one of those verse 27, but the anointing which you have received.

And when did you receive it?

When you got saved, when you got born again by the spirit of God.

You were born again and the spirit of God came on the inside.

Remember that series that we did on the overcomer.

See, we talked a lot about the greater one lives on the inside, and so now we've moved into this anointing, understanding the anointing and how the spirit of God.

You know we're not supposed to be ignorant concerning the things of the spirit, verse Corinthians 12, one, don't be ignorant.

And so you know we teach a lot that of things that overlap one another.

It just behooves you if you can't come to two services a week.

Sunday more, how many of you know, we have a Sunday night service.

Some of you didn't know that You've never darkened the door on Sunday night, but you ought to.

That's one thing I did at Lakewood.

I came every time the doors were open.

I drove about 27 miles each way, 27 miles there, 27 miles home times.

Four trips a week, a week.

Why four?

I used the three services, I know, but I would you know there was always something extra to do.

All right, the anointing which you have received of him abideth in you.

Everybody say the anointing within I have.

Everybody say I have it All right.

And then Jesus talked about the anointing upon, for Luke 4, 18, and his own hometown synagogue, where he grew up, stood up and he said the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to basically minister to five groups of people the broke, the brokenhearted, the blind, the bound, the bruised.

He half anointed me.

The spirit of Lord is upon me because he half anointed me.

So he talked about the anointing upon.

So there's the same Holy Spirit with a different aspects of how he operates.

And so we've been making the point the last two weeks that the anointing within you is your personal relationship with God and you really are not gonna be very strong in the anointing upon you without having a strong anointing within you.

You have to work on that.

That's part of your job.

Your job of a disciple is to develop and grow in the things of your personal relationship with God.

I mean, you're just not gonna just come fall out of heaven on top of your head.

You have to read your Bible.

So we talked about being you know, putting the word first place, reading and meditating in the Word, having a prayer life.

It's not gonna happen unless you occupy your place of prayer and worship.

You've got to.

It's praising God and praying as it praises prayer and developing your prayer life.

Praying much in other tongues, even though that's the holy, the wanting upon you, but yet that prayer language is integral for you.

Growing in your inward anointing.

And that's the part you can grow in.

And that's why when we sing that song you know you're just so good at.

Every day it gets better.

Why?

Because our knowledge of Him gets bigger and bigger.

Why?

Because we spend time with Him.

We spend time with Him, we get to know Him.

We get to, and it's not about hearing a voice, it's about knowing.

So maybe at first you hear a voice, but you know after a while.

You know the voice stops.

And you've got to know Him by the witness.

You've got to know Him over His Word.

You've got a fellowship with Him about His Word.

So, word, the Word and the prayer, and then, of course, doing, being a doer of the Word.

You can't just go through the motions, you know, you've got to actually do the Word.

You've got to obey the Word, put the Word first place in your life, actually walk in love.

Walk in love toward people.

It's easy to walk in anger, resentment.

I mean, have you ever seen a more angry bunch of people than the Democrats?

They're angry, there's their hairs on fire every other day about something Right now.

At first they were glad about the leak and now they're just oh, let's go, let's stop them from going to church.

Well, they ain't.

Nobody stopped us from going to church.

They know better than that.

One dangerous place to stand in this church is in the front door, because we're going to run over you getting in here.

I'm telling you right now I mean, what's it going to be next week?

You know they just so insulted and so angry.

Let's not be that way.

We're on the winning team.

We read the end of the book, praise God, all right.

So he said, the anointing upon.

And so the anointing within supports and establishes your anointing upon.

In fact, the anointing upon you for your ministry, for helping others.

I mean, you can't help anybody, just with the natural, or you can, but it's just the natural is not going to get anybody anywhere.

I see a lot of Christians that just think they're out doing a lot of good things or going to Ukraine, prayer meetings and our own nation's hairs on fire and you're over over there praying for the Ukraine.

You know, I thought that I don't have any mercy over the Ukraine, but you know what?

The light that shines further shines bright as it's home.

We've got to pay attention.

What's happening in America?

We have the midterms right now.

If we don't, we don't have the light Right now.

We, if we don't pray, if we don't watch and pray over these things, we're just derelict.

This is all by design.

They want to change the subject and a lot of doofus leaders in the church are along with that.

I was invited to a prayer meeting over the Ukraine.

No, thank you, I've got too much to do besides.

That's right here.

That needs attention.

They're going to have to take care of themselves.

They are a nation under judgment period of story.

I hate to see people die like that, but that's what happens with war, wars and rumors of wars, what Jesus said was going to happen.

You can't stop it, especially that part of the world, because they kill so many Jews.

Not that long ago in the Ukraine, the Ukraine is where they had these death camps.

You don't think that blood is crying out.

You don't think Listen.

I mean, you know, a church was complicit.

I say the church.

It wasn't the true church, it was the religious church, orthodox.

They didn't care, neither the Catholics either.

They didn't care either.

Most of them.

There is judgment that filled up a cup and it's being poured out right now, and so you can sit here and pray all day long and you're not gonna stop it.

They could stop it and we can stop what's going on in this country if we just wake up.

All right.

So the anointing upon you will bring you in to conflict.

The devil will try to stop you from ministering, and without a strong anointing within you Because that's what you have to use to overcome the overcomer has a strong anointing within your.

Anointing upon you is not gonna help you overcome the devil.

It's gonna help you help somebody else overcome the devil, but it's not gonna help you.

It's not designed for you, it's designed for the other person.

Are you with me now?

And so that anointing within is so important and it's so important for us to increase in that, so that the anointing upon say, how do you increase the anointing upon?

Well, we talked about that last week and the main thing is just be obedient, be faithful in what he tells you to do.

And you know what, if you're faithful and you do what he tells you to do to help other people, he'll give you more to do.

And then he'll give you more to do and he'll promote you.

And that's what's happened to this church over all these years.

It's been went into 22 years ago March of 1999, when he told me to wake up the church, and we started right then trying to understand what he meant.

We didn't know right away exactly what he was talking about.

But, boy, now do we know what he's talking about.

Now we know what he's talking about.

It's so obvious.

So much of the church is asleep and a lot of them are the pastors asleep, and so there's not a whole lot of hope until the pastor wakes up and pints and starts preaching right and acting right.

Amen, all right.

So we have to be strong in the anointing within to help us overcome the obstacles brawl on by our anointing upon us.

Now, today, let's talk about the corporate anointing.

Turning your bibles, please, to Ephesians, chapter two.

I'll give you what the word says about it Ephesians, chapter two and verse 19.

And he's talking to church people, the book of the church at Ephesus, but he's talking to us.

Now, therefore, you're no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens.

Were the saints and of the household of God, isn't that good?

We're of the household of God.

We were outside, we were lost and undone.

Without God, we were children of the devil, but now, since we've been born again, now we're fellow citizens with the saints.

Look to your neighbor says we're citizens together.

See, that's right.

You're a saint, you're not waiting to be canonized, you know all that.

But Bologna, bunch of religious Bologna, everybody's born again as a saint.

Why?

Because you're so good?

No, because he's so good.

The blood has cleansed you and you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God.

We're all in the household together.

And we're all in the household together and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.

Stone is an italic, he's the chief corner.

You know, when they built a building, the temple had a corner stone.

The foundation was huge, great stones.

They didn't, couldn't pour concrete back.

Then they laid stones.

Did they start in the middle and go out?

No, that was a recipe for disaster.

You couldn't do that.

It was very, almost impossible to build a level, square foundation from the inside.

You've got to do it with the corner.

You took the corner stone.

The corner stone was very exact.

It was absolutely precious, it had to be solid, it had to be plumb sided and it had to be square.

And you set that.

And off of that corner stone then you established number one, the plumb, the vertical, and you established the square at that corner.

So if it's the back corner, it's got to be square.

And then from that you lay the next corner, the next stone and the next stone, all the way around, and pretty soon you fill that whole thing in.

But it all started with what A corner stone.

And Jesus Christ, he is the corner stone.

Amen.

It's what's wrong with the church.

A lot of people have built on false foundations.

They've gotten off of the chief corner stone and also of the foundations of the apostles and prophets that are in the Bible.

They got off the Bible, got on the psychology and they got all kinds of people.

Just they hear theories.

The pastor gets up and heard a bunch of theories in Bible school and then got his doctor of divinity and a bunch of theories, mostly psychology.

Psychosis is really what it is.

Well, you know what?

We're, not minds, we're spirits.

Psychology may have a place, it's just part of your being.

But if your spirit's messed up, it won't make any difference how straight your mind gets, you're still messed up.

Amen, amen.

So I like what Brother Hagin used to say about theory A theory is an ignorance of the subject under discussion.

It's a supposition based on ignorance of the subject under discussion.

So they suppose certain things and it's all a theory, because they're ignorant of what the word says.

Like, god healed some people and not everybody.

Listen, jesus already healed everybody.

He, jesus, already washed all the sins away from everybody.

Nobody's going to hell because of their sin, not one person.

Hitler didn't go to hell.

If he went to hell, I'm just judge.

So I'm assuming he went there, but I don't know that.

But if he did most people think he did he didn't go because he killed six million Jews.

He went there because he didn't accept Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior.

That's the only reason people go to hell Because Jesus has already paid the price for all the sin.

Do you know?

Most people don't even know that.

They go to church every Sunday, never know that.

They don't know it, they walk in condemnation.

That's why give me a year of your life.

In fact, it's probably going to take you giving me more than that because, like I said, it just takes a while to get the truth into you.

But once you get it into you, you can't be defeated.

Glory to God, all right.

And then it says in whom?

That's in Christ, then, in whom all the building fitly framed together, growth unto a holy temple in the Lord, and you also are building together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

So that's talking about a habitation.

See, now the Bible says that each of us, individually, we are.

First Corinthians, chapter six what?

No, you're not that.

Your bodies are the temples of the Holy Ghost which you have of God, and you're not your own.

You've been bought with a price.

Therefore, glorify God, your body and your spirit, which are God.

So each individual believer is a temple of the Holy Ghost.

That's where the Holy Ghost lives.

But guess what this is talking about?

This is talking about a presence of God that you are part of corporately and just like you are the temple of the Holy Ghost.

This church is the temple of yet the Holy Spirit, and yet in a greater manifestation.

Everybody say greater manifestation.

Thank God for what you have, but you know what, when you come to church or something else, oh, I mean, it's higher, it's greater Amen.

That's why people feel it when they come in the door.

I hear them every Sunday.

They come up here and they visit and they say, oh man, it seems like I came in the door.

Well, how did you find this?

Well, I saw it on the internet.

Well, what did you search for?

Spiritville?

A lot of them say Spiritville and they know it, spiritville.

And before they ever hear me, before they ever hear the worship team, they know it when they come in the door.

Why?

Because this is a holy habitation that God has built and you're a fellow citizen, you've been built together.

Glory to God.

All right, everybody say corporate anointing.

All right, let's look at Ephesians 4, a couple of pages over Verse 14.

That we henceforth be no more children.

You know, we need to grow up, boy.

The church is so infantile In the greatest nation God has ever built, other than Israel, on the face of the planet, that's America.

Don't let anybody kid you, america is the greatest nation.

It's a headship gift to the rest of the world.

Because of America, the world has conquered fascism, communism, to a great degree.

Until we just let it, we had really had conquered terrorism.

Until we just let it go To see.

Every time a Democrat gets in charge, they just let it go all the way back.

They have no skill at all.

They are baptized in stupidity.

Anyway, don't get me started.

Praise the Lord.

Henceforth be no more children Tossed to and fro, carried them out with every wind of doctrine, teaching philosophy, critical race theory, black lives matter.

It's all a bunch of lies.

It's communism.

It's communism.

It has nothing to do with racism at all.

That's just the buzzword they use.

But when you get behind what they're really talking about, they're not about communism.

They don't care about the hood.

They don't care about improving people's lives at all.

They're out busy buying mansions.

Did you see that Bought a big old, multi-six million dollar house.

What does that have to do with anything?

What about communism?

Communism, it reminds me of all the you know when Stalin took over.

I mean, you know, the revolution, the people, the people, well, who had all the vodka, who had all the finest food, who had the caviar, who had the limos, who had all the riches of the palaces?

It was the top leaders, all the.

Everybody else was starving to death.

Same with Castro.

Oh, the revolution for the people who had all the goods.

Castro and his brothers.

Forget about everybody else.

You're, you know, you're eating dead stuff on the side of the road, if you can find it.

Ration, rice Gave, everybody.

Rice cookers.

Y'all remember that.

How stupid.

I mean, that's what communism does.

Oh, we're gonna be so magnanimous, we're gonna give you all free rice cookers.

Of course, there's no rice to put in the rice cooker, but we're gonna give you some rice cooker.

Don't get me started.

It's time to grow up.

Quit listening to all these doctrines by the slide of men and cunning craftiness whereby they lie and wait to deceive, but speaking the truth and love.

You know, if you can't hear the truth at church, you don't.

You need to go someplace else, may grow up into him and all things.

You can't grow without the truth, can't grow without the truth of God's word.

Period.

Grow up into him and all things which is the head, even Christ, from whom?

Now, look here, we go to the corporate.

Now, not talking about individuals.

Now, suddenly, he shifts gears, from whom the whole body, fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies according to the effectual working and the measure of every part, make it increase of the body under the edifying of itself in love.

So then, that just verifies what we said last week there's no big eyes and little use.

There's no insignificant members.

Every member is a supply and has a supply.

Your little finger is a supply.

It helps you grab ahold of things.

Try grabbing something with no little finger.

It's not that easy.

Now, gladys, she kids me all the time because I hold my coffee cup with my little finger sticking out.

You know, like that, I don't know what it's a habit, I don't use my entire hand just to hold Most of these little handles are small anyway, so my finger just sticks out like that.

Do you make an ugly noise when you Make an ugly noise when Shh Shh, shh Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh Shh.

But your little finger has, you know, try doing without it.

It needs, you need it.

So it's supply of something.

And guess what?

It has a supply.

There's a supply of nerves and blood and everything.

And the body is a supply and has a supply.

Talking about the corporate anointing, now, praise God.

And so it all compacts together and it edifies itself in what In love?

All right.

And the last one, peter got a revelation of the body.

Let's look back here to first Peter, chapter two Getting anything out of this?

Yeah, I'm still out of my motor, all right.

Verse five you also as lively are living stones.

Everybody say I'm a living stone.

Remember when we were talking about the cornerstone a while ago?

Jesus Christ is chief cornerstone, but we're all living stones.

We're the stones of the building, but we're living.

Are you with me now?

You also, as living or lively stones, are built up A spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ, wherefore also it is contained in the scripture I lay in Zion or a foundation of stone.

Y'all remember that song.

I behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded or confused.

So the Bible teaches that we have, individually, these anointing within and the anointing upon, but then as a body, collectively, we've been built together into a habitation and a temple of God.

We have a corporate presence of God Corporate presence of God and then we also have a corporate anointing upon us.

See, there's two elements that we have personally that exist in the church collectively.

Are y'all getting ahold of this?

I'm telling you, there's few percentages of people that go to church that understand any of what I'm talking about today.

But when you get ahold of it, you will never doubt that you belong in this church and that you're valuable to this church and that there is a supply here for you.

And yet, on the other hand, you need to understand when you come, you're bringing your supply.

Don't you forget it.

Amen, you bring a supply that's really important.

And so what I wanna say is the total of that anointing, both within and upon, is greater than the sum of the individual parts.

I'm gonna say it again the total that's available in the corporate presence of God in the church and upon the church is greater than the sum of the individual parts, individual believers.

You have an anointing upon you.

Let's just say it's worth $5.

And let's say the anointing within you is worth $10.

So you've got to say a total of $15.

You have $15, $15, $15.

And maybe it varies a little bit because some of you are brand new and so your anointing within is not up as high as somebody that's been serving God for 50 years.

But we're just doing simple math and so I added all up across the whole church and I come up with a figure of $1,000 worth of anointing, except now it's $5,000.

It's just multiplied.

Do you get it now?

See, Leviticus says the same thing.

You know, I used to use this all the time until I started studying up on it.

Remember, you know, if one will put a thousand to fly, two will put 10,000.

How many of you remember that verse?

Well, really, that's judgment against Israel.

It's talking about Israel's enemies.

It's not talking about our power, it's talking about how far Israel had fallen.

And it's really a negative on Israel.

It says your enemies, or just one of them, can cause a thousand of you to fly and two will put 10,000 of you to fly.

So that's not a scripture, that's a positive for us.

The scripture that's a positive for us is Leviticus 268.

He said five of you will put 100 to fly and a hundred of you will put 10,000 to fly.

It's not quite as impressive, not quite as impressive so, but if you do the math, five will put a hundred to fly, so 20 people.

So you've got 20 people.

20 demons you can run off by yourself, but if you get a hundred of you, you can put a hundred each instead of 20 each.

So what is that?

That's five times more powerful when you have agreement in the camp.

Are you with me now?

That's what God's all about.

He's all about multiplication.

You come into this house, listen, this is multiplication.

Do I say that we have to do things on our own?

Yes, you have to read your Bible.

You have to have a prayer life.

You have to because if you don't, then you don't have anything.

You're not bringing your part.

When you come, it's just a suction.

You're sucking, trying to make up for what you didn't bring.

Don't do that.

Get yourself built up in your personal anointing and function in the anointing upon you so that when you come to church, it just lifts the whole crowd and, yes, you get your needs met at the same time.

Glory to God, are y'all getting this now?

And, of course, leviticus 26 is in the Old Testament.

We've got a better covenant found upon better promise.

I don't have any math for you.

I mean, I think it blows all the calculators up.

It blows the calculators up.

If we could calculate, if we could measure, it's immeasurable.

Woo, come on, let's lift our hands right now.

Glory to God, oh jeez.

Somebody say well, you know, I just get more out of going fishing.

Well, you're a fool.

You don't know what the Bible says.

You're leaving a whole lot of things on the table.

I'm gonna tell you, fish can't do this.

Fish, you can catch a whole mess of them, but they can't do what they want.

You can catch a whole mess of them, but they can't do what the corporate anointing does.

All right.

So three facts about the corporate anointing day.

And we experience this every time we get together.

So, when we get together, what did they do in the Old Testament?

When they built the temple, see what did they do?

Well, they offered sacrifices and they worship God.

And when they dedicated the temple the Bible says the glory.

They started saying well, the Lord is good and His mercy endureth forever.

The Lord is good.

So they're worshiping God.

They're worshiping God and they've got the blood of bulls and goats, almost without number.

They've shed all this blood and they've offered sacrifices.

Jesus is the only sacrifice that needs to be offered and it's already been offered.

We don't have to offer any sacrifices except the sacrifice of praise that is the fruit of our lives, giving thanks under His name.

So when we do that, like we did oh God is good in the morning, I sing Amen.

We're just worshiping Him.

So when they worshiped Him in the Old Testament, what happened?

He came down so strong that glory filled the temple so that the priests could not stand to minister.

They couldn't perform their priestly duties.

I mean, the glory came.

It's the same thing happens Whether you see the glory or whether you feel goosebumps.

Let me tell you something that presence comes down in response to our corporate worship, greater than you can experience by yourself.

Should you have it by yourself, of course?

Don't leave that off.

I know people just leave that off because it's just well.

I know I should, but I just want to get to church.

Well, yeah, it's just immature.

You need to grow up because you're affecting the whole total.

If everybody had your attitude, it wouldn't be much in here.

I'm gonna bring my part, but then how about you?

If you don't bring your part?

It's not gonna be that exciting, I'm guarantee it.

And the worship team can even bring their part.

I can bring my part, family can bring their part and you don't bring your part.

Well, it might be okay, but it won't be that great.

When we started off it was weird.

I brought mine.

I'm up on the platform and my Omnicord.

Jay brought his.

He's at a card table running the sound board.

We had I don't know if the first service, if we had anybody singing behind me or not.

I don't remember.

I don't think we did.

I think we were so new.

Did we have anybody stand with me at that early time?

I think it was just me up there singing, leading the worship.

We didn't have enough volunteers yet to have a worship team and as far as feeling, I mean I wanted everybody to pray for me.

I didn't feel like praying for anybody.

It felt totally unlike what I was used to it at Lakewood Church.

I mean it wasn't Lakewood First service.

We had a hundred and some odd people, but I mean I didn't feel that.

You know what?

I preached the word and God fell and people got help and they got healed anyway.

And since that day, all those years later, we're in our 27th year.

Let me tell you something We've grown in that presence of God, that glory of God.

So the corporate anointing is God's glory, god's presence, all of those things we talk about.

It doesn't really have anything to do with goose bumps.

You can have them, but really it's more.

It's a.

Sometimes people see into the spirit realm.

They'll see angels.

You know, there's many times we've been singing up here and angel people hear angels singing and they're singing like two octaves above everybody else, you know, just like opera, way up high.

There's no way anybody could even sing that high.

Loretta can sing higher than anybody I've ever heard and they sing higher than Loretta and she can still blow the speakers out.

You're gonna have to have her sing again coming up here.

So the effect of corporate worship is the corporate anointing.

What God said to me years ago, he said love plus unity equals miracles.

And so that's what happens when you have worship.

You know you have Houston's Healing Center.

People get healed.

I mean people get healed here, whether they're even here, sometimes people are watching them.

They get healed.

We're praying for somebody in the hospital and they get healed.

And what is that?

What does that have?

Say Judy's over there worshiping God.

She ought to be in heaven.

But no, the corporate anointing affected her.

She's in the hospital.

I mean, she was so sick, so weak and she was in there for weeks and weeks and weeks.

I mean she had all this stuff going on in her life and here she is back.

Same with Gertrude.

Gertrude, where are you, gertrude?

I saw you come in earlier and you know she was the same way.

She could have gone to heaven and we had ladies calling her, talking to her, and I mean she just answered with the word of God.

Every time the doctor gave her a bad report, she'd answer with the word answer with the word, answer with the word.

But it was the corporate anointing that helped her.

It was because she was plugged into something greater than herself.

The anointing destroys yolks of bondage.

People get free.

You know, people come in here.

They're all bound up with religion.

They're bound up with drugs, they're bound up with alcohol, whatever kind of bondage.

You have a negative self-image.

An endless track of self-condemnation runs through their mind all the time.

You know, I've just got a terrible self-image.

You come to church long enough.

The devil will break that out.

He will tear that tape out of your brain and replace it with God's word and, of course, the understanding of the word is multiplied.

You just you know, you grow.

You grow faster than you do on your own.

Can you grow without the church?

Well, you know, some people are testing that out because they're, you know, because of COVID, their church is turned.

You know, they're dried up and so now they're just existing online.

I feel for those people, but you're not gonna make it like that.

You're gonna hear stuff.

It's not for you.

There's nobody adorned to watch after.

Your soul is one that gives an account on the internet.

You need a pastor and you need to be in a church just like this, right here, right now.

And I still see people drifting through here.

I don't know what they're looking for.

They come in a church like this and they just keep looking.

I don't understand it.

Are you nuts?

I mean this would end the service like this right here would end the search for me.

I wouldn't be looking anymore.

I mean I hear this and this is place.

I need to be right here I'm through religiousizing it all.

I think that they are so hardened in their hearts now they wouldn't know the Holy Ghost if he walked up and tied him a bow tie around their neck.

All right, the second thing that happens with the corporate anointing is the increase in personal direction and guidance.

I mean you come into this church and I mean you, just you find the answer.

You might be struggling about a decision to make.

I had a word here recently about people you know if struggling with decisions.

I saw this thing.

It was a Sunday morning and you know I just I had that word and the person wasn't even here, but they heard it and I know it helped them.

And then I don't know if you were here that Sunday, but I had a word over Bryce.

Bryce is working out in the lobby today.

He's a part of our gatekeepers Way.

That may Bryce.

So I had this word over Bryce.

You may remember he had been laid off after 25 years at the same company and I bragged on him and what a faithful ministry of helps he was.

He would come on when we had live services on Wednesday night.

He would come on his way home.

He lives up in Montgomery and it's just too far to go all the way home and back.

So he would stay at work a little later and come here in time to come to Wednesday night service.

And I remember him having different cuts and pay cuts and benefits one time and here recently they laid him off.

They just made you know this is just.

These scumbags are gonna get theirs, that's all I know.

There's no reason for it, they just wanna.

They just it's just dollars and cents for them.

They have a chance to hire somebody cheaper.

That's the bottom line.

They are importing somebody from another foreign country and they're paying them nothing and they just wanna be able to just write 25 years of service off.

They don't wanna be faithful.

They've been faithful to work there, but now they're not gonna be faithful to take care of somebody all the way to retirement.

They're gonna cut him short.

Well, you know what?

Guess what he?

You know that job was never his source.

God's his source.

I gave him a word and I just I don't know.

I spent some time and I prayed over him and he had been approached.

I didn't know it, but he had been approached on a project, not a job, but to consult for a project.

And after that Sunday he got the offer.

It's twice as much as what he was making, twice as much as he, twice as much, twice as much as he was making.

And because of the word that went forth, I know he's gonna convert that into a permanent position.

I know he's gonna go down and he's gonna put roots down and he's gonna.

I don't remember all the words and you know, sometimes when I give those I can't remember them If somebody's not transcribing them or if I don't listen to them on the podcast.

I can't remember what I say in the spirit.

It just comes out of me.

Well, that's my personal anointing.

That's the anointing that I stand in.

But guess why it's released?

It's released because of the corporate anointing.

It has the power behind it that's greater than what I have.

I've got some.

I'm interested in people.

But you know what I've learned?

I've learned sometimes, when people make a demand on the anointing that I have maybe they want me to pray with them.

I'll say, well, you know, let's just wait until Sunday till I can be under the anointing, especially when it has to be deliverance.

If it's demon powers involved, I'll just say, you know, let's just wait until Sunday to see what the Holy Ghost does.

I mean, you know, unless there's an emergency.

I mean I just prefer to let the corporate anointing.

I've learned over these 26 years how valuable the corporate anointing is, and when you add that together with what the anointing that I have, anyway I have confidence in what I have.

I know, I've experienced it, I've seen it happen, I've seen live change.

But when it's corporate, it just it's on a whole other echelon.

Are you all?

Come on, let's lift our hands right now.

Thank God, miracle, signs and wonders and direction and guidance.

From that word he got direction and guidance.

Now he knows what to believe about this new position.

And then, finally, the corporate anointing for being a regional center, and you've heard me speak of it Tonight.

I'm gonna talk more about it.

I don't have time to expand on it this morning.

But what do you mean regional center?

Well, when I got the visitation, it was a open-eyed vision back in 1996.

We were just 16, 17 months old.

I was out looking for property and I saw this vision of a circle with a star up in the sky.

And when I saw that circle with a star up in the sky, I was reminded good, bad or indifferent, but I was reminded of Matt Dillon, gunsmoke, marshall Dillon.

He wore a badge, he's a Marshall.

That's what I thought about.

And I looked at that thing up in the sky, I had my eyes open and then it just came down and just landed right in the middle of this five-acre piece of property I was looking for because we were leasing our first building, that's on the super target, the site of the super target center right now in 1960.

That was our first building.

We were looking for land to possibly five acres.

I had five-acre faith, you know, by five acres, from our landlord who owned a bunch of different property around in the area.

And so that thing came out of the sky, landed in the middle of that five acres and I would say it encompassed an area about the size of the center section.

And I'm looking at that and I'm thinking I didn't say anything, or people there with me, I didn't say anything out loud.

I'm just thinking to myself what does this mean?

And then suddenly I just zoomed out, zoomed out, it got way up in the sky, looking down on that star, and it became like what you would see on a map that would denote Austin or Washington DC a capital.

You mark a capital with a circle, with a star, that gives you the capital.

And I said God, what are you saying?

And I said this out loud God, what are you saying?

You're gonna make us a capital.

And he said two words regional center.

And by all of that I knew he meant a church that had executive, legislative and judicial power and authority.

Well, I didn't know back then what that meant.

I had no clue, you know.

I just didn't know.

But I acted on it.

I thought, well, you know what?

And then, god, let me know that I came out of a regional center.

Lakewood was a regional center in the sense that people came from everywhere to go there.

Hardly anybody was from the local area.

Almost everybody was drove, like I did, from the suburbs to get there.

And that was the way our church was from the very beginning.

Our people came from everywhere.

They didn't come from just right here in 1960.

So it changed my whole idea of what we were.

We're no longer just a local church, we're a regional center.

We need more property.

So I went from five acre faith to 10 acre faith, to 63.7 acre faith, to 92.7 acre faith over a period of months, and we bought 92.7 acres of the property that now champions crossing subdivision.

And then you know the land miracle.

The man that we bought it from needed a tax right off.

We gave him this property back.

We had a million dollars cash in the property.

Talking about regional center?

Now talking about corporate anointing?

Now Don't lose me Talking about the impact the corporate anointing has when you start obeying it, when you start doing what God says and don't get false humility and we're just a little character and we can't do anything.

And then and then, and then People thought I was absolutely.

In fact, some people left when I talked about 92 acres.

They got offended and left the church.

They I wouldn't ask them for any money.

In fact, I never even raised an offering, I never even asked for an extra offering for the money, never did.

But anyway.

So you know 92.7 acres.

So he said, hey, I need a tax write off, give me the 92 acre.

I think I've got a million dollars cash in that.

I can't just give it to you.

Well, yeah, but I'm gonna give you the property on the corner, debt free, 85 acres.

So essentially, for a million dollars we got 85 acres.

Are y'all with me?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And then we sold most of it to the subdivision next door.

Now we've got 9.2 acres paid for, 50,000 square feet under roof, paid for all the updates and upgrades that we've done, paid for we don't.

You know, it'd be nice if you'd put some money in the building fund every now and then, because we're spending money quite significantly all the time.

We don't stop everything down and say, oh, we need to take an offering this morning for our new sound board.

It's only $30,000.

Can you see?

We just pay it.

But I want you to know that we are spending money upgrading and updating, maintaining.

I mean, air conditions have to be replaced.

Are y'all with me now?

This is regional center business.

Woo, glory to God.

What else?

Well, ruling and reigning over storms.

We stopped Katrina, headed right for Houston, we stopped it.

It went to New Orleans instead.

You know that was history, wasn't it?

New Orleans?

They're still talking about Katrina.

And then the next month we had Rita.

We stopped Rita at the border and it went up the border between Louisiana and Texas.

If you look at a map of how they hit, it's just a few degrees difference in their track.

But it came a little further west and we stopped it.

Man, we stopped it.

We know how to pray against that kind of stuff.

But when I came, god told me, said you can't stop it.

It's gonna hit the Houston area.

You can adjust it.

You can stop it from being as powerful.

It was category four right before it hit.

If it had been continued to be a category four, there's no telling what happened to Houston.

And if it had not turned further east we turned it a little bit to where it went toward the east side of town, away from the ship channel it was headed right for the ship channel.

If it had come up the ship channel, where the dirty side of the storm would have been, on all those tank batteries and refineries, houston would be a different city today.

The nation would be a different nation today, because I don't know how many refineries would have been taken out.

Are y'all with me?

Y'all are looking at me like I'm crazy, but that's what a regional center does.

We took authority over that thing and our members were hardly hurt.

I mean we had a little damage, but almost everybody turned into a blessing.

Same with Harvey.

Some of us had some damage with Harvey.

It turned into a blessing.

We were all taken care of.

There was a couple of families, I think, were hurt a little bit, but it wasn't terrible.

And the same with the freeze.

We had only a couple of members that had trouble with the freeze.

They lost you know, they had plumbing busted, but guess what?

The insurance company gave them an update.

And now look at real estate.

Their houses are worth double what they were this time last year.

Their houses are way up.

If they wanted to sell and start renting, they could do that if they wanted to do it.

I'm not telling them to do it, I'm just saying, when they come to church, though, they can find out what God would like them to do.

Are y'all with me now?

I'm talking about regional center stuff storms, terrorism.

We have taken authority over terrorism.

We say this God told me to say this Houston is a safe and prosperous city and God protects her from all her enemies.

We didn't burn up like Minneapolis and all those cities in the Midwest.

With the George Floyd uprisings, we had 60,000 people on the streets, but guess what?

They didn't burn anything, they didn't loot anything, they didn't destroy anything.

They just got COVID.

They got together for a super spreader.

Are y'all with me now?

See, we don't mince any words.

We don't hold back.

We're not worried about anybody, whether they get offended or not.

We're gonna give them the truth and love.

Amen, praise God.

Terrorism, riots, all that stuff we govern, amen.

We and the last one's electoral politics.

We've been doing that a long time, and now, suddenly, within just the last two years since that word we had on greatest year yet and God gave me the word about perspective, power and prominence Our footprint has grown and we have the ear of a lot of elected officials across Harris County and the state of Texas.

And as Harris County and the state of Texas goes, so does the nation go.

Eyes are on what's going on right here with the Miller, our county judge.

We gotta get rid of Hedogo, we've gotta get rid of him, and I'm voting for Miller.

I already Gladys and I already voted, we already mailed our ballot in.

We voted for her, just like James voted for her.

I mean, we heard both of the candidates.

They were right here on this platform.

See, that's a regional center.

I said that's a regional center.

Nobody's perfect.

There aren't any perfect candidates, but we had the witness with her, and so I can say that, without the church, when the church is not taking an official position.

I personally, though, have the freedom of speech and I can tell you who I voted for.

That doesn't mean you have to do it, just sometimes people wanna know what did I do?

And you know, as we're planning and, out of the past, 10,000 followers on my Facebook Pastor John Griner Facebook page over 10,000 followers now.

I would say our footprint has grown and the engagement is off the charts.

What do you mean engagement?

The likes, the discussions?

I mean, if you compare us to big major Coca-Cola, look up Coca-Cola you won't see the engagement on their Facebook page that we have on ours.

They got a lot more followers, but nobody comments, nobody likes, nobody says anything.

We say anything.

I mean, if they come out of it, it would work, and they're talking about it.

I had a lady that said something that I wanted to correct, and so I corrected her sweetly and gave her another way to think about it.

I had 670 likes to my response to this one lady.

I mean footprint.

I mean we used to have size 12, now we've got size 22.

Looking more like skis than shoes Now, y'all with me.

Now, regional Center, it's the corporate anointing that does it.

It's not me personally.

Do I have that?

Yes, personally, I have that.

I have an anointing.

I have an office that I stand in.

I mean, when I speak, it's like a heat seeking missile.

I know my words are gonna go out there.

The word is anointed and I'm anointed to deliver it, and it's gonna like a heat seeking missile.

It's gonna find a target and it's gonna explode.

The truth is gonna explode in somebody and that's what we're seeing on the Facebook page.

So, likewise, we have a mygodvotescom and a mygodvotes Facebook page and we just now started posting a few things to mygodvotes and we're gonna get more and more involved.

We need all of you to be involved in mygodvotes, because that is gonna be the tool by which we get believers involved in electoral politics.

We've got to turn out the vote in 2022.

We cannot afford to have this attitude.

Hey daddy, you doing a good job.

Eat this.

Y'all cook it.

Eat that Each one politician has.

No, you're wrong, you're stupid.

You need to educate yourself.

There are people worthy of voting and there's always a choice to make and you need to make that choice.

When you don't make the choice, it's already made for you.

That is not godly.

That's not your responsibility.

We're supposed to rule and reign.

You have to hold your nose.

Hold your nose and vote, but vote, don't not vote.

You cannot vote in Cuba.

You cannot vote in all kind of countries all over the world.

You can be like you are someplace else.

Why don't you move there today if that's your attitude?

No, I mean, we've had soldiers die, we've had blood shed to uphold the right to vote, and you can find fault with any system or with any candidate, but you know what rights.

When they're not exercised, they're lost.

We must keep the right to vote.

We have to.

We're not ever gonna improve anything by not voting.

That never does any good.

Amen.

Everybody say my god votes.

We're getting some t-shirts.

James is man, I mean.

He's getting more invites and he's got time to take, but he's gonna start promoting my god votes or out there in the community and hand out some, and what we're trying to get is email addresses.

We wanna build an army of email addresses that we can count on to impact the votes.

Amen.

Everybody else does this.

I mean, how do you feel about Amazon telling their employees yeah, we're gonna pay the $4,000, up to $4,000 for your abortion, if you want an abortion, you live in a state that won't let you have an abortion now that the Supreme Court is da, da, da, da da.

Well, we're gonna pay for your abortion.

You know I'm outraged at that Uber Visa.

There's a lot of these big corporations.

So I just got through reading Friday that one of the largest PR firms told their clients back out of that.

Do not commit yourself to that role because you'll never be able to get out of it.

They know the PR firm knows that about 70% of Americans hate abortion.

They don't like it and they are fed up with it and they wanna stop all abortions.

Past 15 weeks that's the minimum most of them wanna outlaw it completely, but there's a good 70% that agree with the heartbeat bill of Texas.

So some of these companies are gonna suffer when they start messing around putting their two cents in.

I have a friend of mine I won't say where he works, but he said what's next is, when these CEOs start obligating their corporations to this activism, that the shareholders can sue them for breach of trust.

They're making their stocks go down.

So that might be a way we can get back at them.

Start praying against these corporations that are doing this.

It's out of control, folks.

I said it's out of control.

They have no right to be woke.

They wouldn't be anything without America.

They wouldn't be nothing.

They talk about China.

They talk about all of their markets.

Their markets don't amount to a hill of beans compared to America, are y'all with me?

Now I'm talking about regional center stuff.

So the last one I'll talk about is wake up the church.

And, of course, wake up the church to electoral politics, wake up the church to all these factors that we're talking about.

But the main thing is what happens when you wake up in the middle of the night.

Just suppose you wake up.

What do you do?

What's the first thing you do?

You try to find out what time it is, don't you?

You look what time is it?

Why am I awake?

I woke up at one the other night.

It seemed like I had only been in bed for two hours and I had this long dream.

And I woke up, you know, and the clock wasn't visible to my side of the bed.

I had to go to a lot of trouble to find out what time it was.

At the time I found out what time it was, I was fully awake.

I was fully awake, but no chance of going back to sleep then.

So you know we need to tell people what time it is.

Jesus is coming soon.

They act like they've got forever.

They act like everything is gonna be okay.

They're gonna roll over and keep slumbering away and there's gonna be a day, real quick.

I'm not giving you any dates.

I don't have any dates for you.

I'm just knowing that he's closer than ever before and he's looking for response and that's why he gave us that wake up the church command.

And, folks, I can't do it by myself.

It takes what Corporate adorning.

Corporate adorning, amen.

So the corporate adorning depends upon each member of the body growing in their own individual anointing within and their anointing upon and in whom we do.

The total is greater than the sum of the individual parts and we actually get to do some wonderful things, greater than we could ever do by ourselves.

Come on, lift your hands and receive understanding.

The anointing Hallelujah.
