Wonderful Jesus.
-
Let's reach down and pick up our bibles, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.
-
Thank you, worship team, beautiful job today.
-
So glad to see everyone today.
-
Hallelujah, what an atmosphere.
-
We have to get into the Word, to get into our covenant, to know what God has said about what we're gonna talk about today, where we can anchor our faith.
-
Amen, let's say this together, say, heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here this morning.
-
What an atmosphere.
-
Oh, my faith is soaring right now and I'm gonna take it with me when I leave.
-
I'm not gonna sink, I'm gonna rise up and possess All that belongs to me through the Word of God in Jesus' name, amen, amen.
-
Let's turn to our bibles, to Mark, chapter four.
-
Amen.
-
We just talked about faith of believer servant just about three weeks ago on a Sunday morning, right out of this same scripture.
-
But I think it fits with what we're talking about Mark, chapter four, verse 26.
-
And this is the chapter where the sower sows the Word.
-
We get such revelation about seed faith and about how the Word is a seed.
-
And he said in verse 26, so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground and should sleep and rise night and day and the seed should spring and grow up.
-
He knew it, not how For the earth bringing forth fruit of herself, first the blade, then the ear and after that the full corn and the ear.
-
But when the fruit is brought forth, or when the fruit is ripe, immediately he put it in the sickle because the harvest is come.
-
And so we're talking in the third message here this morning on receiving your kingdom supply, and the intent of these messages is to build your faith so that you'll be supply conscious and not inflation conscious.
-
Now we're living in unprecedented times.
-
I mean, the last time we saw this type of inflation was Jimmy Carter, and Rosalind was in the White House.
-
You know, he wore a sweater and it turned down the thermostat to 60 to save energy.
-
And Amy, the daughter, was in there too.
-
She's a bleeding heart liberal.
-
Today he's still alive.
-
I don't know how, but anyway Plains Georgia.
-
He's a nut job.
-
Worst president until Obama.
-
And of course then now we've got Biden and he's not really the president, he's a resident.
-
But anyway, whatever, we better not get into that too far.
-
We got into that Friday night.
-
I think how many of you are here Friday night man.
-
If you missed Friday night man, I tell you we had over 400 people here Friday night, 2000 mules, which basically gives you the scientific and factual case for what happened in 2020.
-
But anyway, we've got to be supply conscious.
-
We've got to know that we have a supply in the midst of the judgment of the nations.
-
The judgment of the nations has begun.
-
You know, nations are not just America, but all nations.
-
Somebody said, oh God, it's gonna judge America.
-
Well, you know what?
-
You better start with Germany, better start with the Ukraine, in Russia, you better start with some of those because they're worse.
-
They've done worse things than we have.
-
Don't listen to these nut jobs to just run down our country.
-
It's the greatest country ever on the face of the planet.
-
We haven't been perfect and we've done things wrong, and the biggest thing we did is allow abortion.
-
But slavery was everywhere.
-
It's not just America.
-
I'm just a little bit tired of hearing all about that when the whole world has had that and some places still have it.
-
We fought a civil war and shed blood to get rid of it.
-
So let's give some credit what has happened in the positive.
-
But getting back to where we live now, you've got to have an anchor of your soul, because when you see the gas prices where they're at and you see the food prices and where they're at, and those of you that are renters, whenever it comes time for you to renew your lease, you're gonna have to believe God for favor.
-
Because it's all going up.
-
And if you are a homeowner, well you know your insurance already went up because your value of your house went up, so they had to cover more.
-
So they're going up.
-
Your taxes are going up, everything's going up, and I don't think they have a handle on the percentage of the inflation.
-
So I'm not here to preach the bad news.
-
The good news is that we have a supply that's independent of this world's economy, and I want to make the case firmly for you so that you know it's not just pie in the sky, but it's firmly written in the Bible.
-
We just got through singing.
-
He said it, I believe it.
-
I want to give you some things to sink your teeth into.
-
So the first week, three weeks ago, we talked out of Matthew six, the sermon on the mount.
-
I mentioned that in that sermon God gave a backslidden nation, a nation ruled by the Roman Empire.
-
They had lost their nation.
-
We hadn't lost ours yet it looks like it's on the brink.
-
It looks like it's on the brink but even so, they had a promise.
-
And if Israel had a promise, we've got a better promise.
-
We've got better promises because we've got a better covenant.
-
Hebrews eight, six.
-
But he said to them he said look, don't be sweating about tomorrow, don't be anxiously worrying about tomorrow.
-
God knows you have need of those things.
-
What things?
-
Food, shelter and clothing.
-
He knows you have need of those things.
-
He said serve God.
-
You can't serve God in wealth.
-
You've got to serve me.
-
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness or his way of doing things and all these things.
-
What things?
-
Where your needs?
-
Do you make a list when you go to the store?
-
You know you make a list.
-
Don't you Go down the list?
-
Yep, I got the detergent.
-
I got the soap.
-
I got the vegetables.
-
I got the meat.
-
I got oh, look at that Tres leches.
-
Oh, and the bakery.
-
That's not on my list.
-
I need to hurry up and put it on my list.
-
I'll tell you give you tress leches if you want it Not gonna bankrupt.
-
Happen for you to have tress leches.
-
It might bankrupt your middle, but it won't bankrupt you.
-
I like tress leches.
-
You never have to cry for water when you're eating it.
-
I mean it's moist, I mean it's by definition, it's moist.
-
Glad to say, I preach about food more than anything else.
-
But Jesus revealed to Israel, who was in the midst of judgment, as I mentioned, you know, the Malachi, the prophet, 400 years before, told them to repent that they were cursed with a curse that they had not handled the tithe and offerings.
-
They had robbed God.
-
And there's no record of them having ever repented of the sin that they had, which is why they were ruled by Rome.
-
And so here comes John the Baptist.
-
And what does he say to him?
-
You, generation of vipers, I mean, he didn't have kind words for him.
-
And then he's preparing to wait for Jesus.
-
And Jesus has given him the good news to the poor.
-
He's preaching the good news.
-
He said look, I got good news for you.
-
Even though you're in the middle of judgment, you can have a supply.
-
Your needs can be supplied right now, even though Rome is in charge of you.
-
You've got a kingdom supply if you just lay hold on it.
-
Serve God and not your money, make your money.
-
Serve you or make your money serve God.
-
Money's not evil, it's what it's done with it.
-
Guns there's no such thing as gun violence.
-
It's people violence.
-
In Israel, they don't have any guns.
-
So guess what?
-
The Palestinians kill people with axes, knives, screwdriver, anything they can pick up.
-
What are you gonna do?
-
If people are gonna kill people, they're gonna kill them, whatever, with their bare hands.
-
It's stupid imes.
-
No, they want people control.
-
They want to be able to control the population and they don't want to have to worry about you being on it's.
-
You know, our constitution is not about hunting.
-
It has nothing to do with hunting squirrels.
-
It has everything to do with having a doubt in the federal or the authorities as to how far they can go to rule over us, because that's not what their purpose is.
-
Their purpose is to do what we tell them to do this of the people, by the people, for the people, not the other way around.
-
Okay, I get off of that, but anyway.
-
So you know, if Israel was in that kind of condition listen, you know we can we can get all revved up about what's going on, but let we have a supply that's available to us if we will obey the law of serving.
-
Serve God and make your money serve you are, served God.
-
Make your money, serve your money.
-
Make your money serve God.
-
And then he mentioned the law of calling.
-
You've got to.
-
We discovered that your, that your supply has a name, it has ears and it will obey you, either to the positive or the negative.
-
You talk wrong You're.
-
If you talk wrong, it can cause your supply to stay where it is in the hands of ungodly men.
-
And if you'll talk right, you can call your supply to you.
-
We're going to have to get revved up and call more supply to ourselves, because everything is going up.
-
If you're going to exist on last year's faith, you're going to get short supply this year.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I mean, let's just make.
-
I mean, it's just mathematics.
-
It's just mathematics.
-
I mean, if you've got a 10% inflation rate and you're satisfied with last year's supply, you're going to be 10% short.
-
But God said I'll meet all your need.
-
He didn't say I'll meet 90% of it.
-
So what?
-
What's our role?
-
Well, we've got to.
-
We've got to call more in.
-
We got to believe, we've got to kick up what we're believing for.
-
So the law of calling, the law of serving.
-
And then last week we got over in the Matthew 25, the parable of the talents, the law of use.
-
God gave talents three people, according to their several abilities or individual ability.
-
He gave one, five, one, two and one one.
-
Two out of the three produced 100% return on God's money.
-
They doubled over whatever period of time, we don't know how long, and he said to them well done thou, good and faithful servant.
-
You've been faithful over a few things.
-
I'm going to make you ruler over over much.
-
Enter thou into the joy of the Lord.
-
They got, they got congratulated, they got accommodations and they got rewarded.
-
Everybody say rewards.
-
He got the rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
-
God wants a successful in business affairs.
-
We established that last week.
-
Third John, two to four, beloved, I pray above all things that thou may as prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
-
Prosper means to be successful in business affairs.
-
A long life's way, a long life's journey.
-
You have many business decisions to make in life and he wants you successful and he wants you healthy and that's a priority above all things.
-
John said well, john didn't just write that out of his own head, he wrote that inspired of the Holy Ghost.
-
So the Holy Ghost wants you healthy and he wants you wealthy, prosperous, successful.
-
Amen.
-
A lot of people don't know that.
-
They think they somehow they think it's holy to be poor.
-
Well, you know, I've been poor and thought very holy.
-
My shoes were holy.
-
At Lakewood I had one pair of dress shoes and had holes in the souls.
-
I know I could have gone to the shoe shop, but then what do I wear while they're in there repairing them?
-
Every time it rained my socks got wet.
-
I'm not joking.
-
I look so prosperous I look.
-
I had one suit.
-
How do you wear the same suit every Sunday?
-
Well, I did for a long time.
-
It took a long time for me to have the second suit.
-
What I did was I changed my ties and my dress shirt mixed in match and my pocket hanky.
-
I could make the thing look like I didn't wear it.
-
Last Sunday I told myself that I don't think it was true.
-
That's why I have the different pair of shoes every time you see me.
-
I have told the devil you're never going to make me broke on shoes.
-
I'm going to have the best shoes, the craziest looking shoes, the brightest shoes.
-
These are the dullest shoes I think I own.
-
They're brown.
-
I think that's the only pair of brown shoes I've got.
-
Why does he do that?
-
Well, because I just thought to stick my finger in the devil's eye and tell him it's never going to happen.
-
Never is you.
-
Never am I going to let you do that to me.
-
I have a supply.
-
It's abundant supply.
-
And so Matthew 25 is right there, after Matthew 24, which Jesus is talking about the end days.
-
He's talking about the signs of his return.
-
He's talking about in the end days.
-
It's going to be.
-
He said take heed that you be not deceived.
-
So many people are deceived.
-
Dr Avery Jackson was in this church a few months ago and he said about 25% of the population of America has been hypnotized.
-
They've been the victims of a mass hypnosis and they drank the Kool-Aid and they're running around afraid.
-
They're scared, and they got to keep coming up with more and more fearful things to make people.
-
Now it's monkeypox.
-
I mean you have a strange desire to scratch your armpits.
-
I don't, I'll bite you.
-
Take funny noise.
-
All I can do is mock.
-
It's ridiculous.
-
They keep throwing things out.
-
Just try it.
-
Is this going to work?
-
Is this going to work?
-
Is this going to?
-
We've got to make them afraid?
-
No, we have.
-
We, god didn't give us a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind.
-
So this prosperity, I'm telling you, is linked to our soul.
-
That's why I'm preaching, is I want your mind to be renewed to God's kingdom laws, the law of serving, or we could say the law of priority, putting God first and making our money serve God or serve ourselves.
-
Serve its use, making sure it's being used properly, watching over what we have.
-
That's not.
-
That's not serving the money.
-
That's being accountable to God about your money.
-
See, that's the law of serving.
-
And then the law of calling.
-
We've got to speak.
-
We've got to speak right.
-
We've got to call our, our money to us, our provision to us.
-
And the law of use.
-
We've got to use it or lose it.
-
And one guy didn't use what he had.
-
He had one talent.
-
He said oh, I knew you were a hard guy.
-
I knew you, rep, what brief were you had in the soul.
-
So I buried it in the backyard, wrapped it up in the napkin.
-
Here it is.
-
It's kind of, it's kind of dusty, it's kind of tarnished.
-
But here it is.
-
And God said you wicked and unprofitable servant, you should have given my money to the bank.
-
At least I'd had interest.
-
Take that money from him and give it to the guy that's got 10, and he shall have abundance.
-
There's a transfer of wealth going on right now, and if you're faithful over your money, God will give you more.
-
God will see to it that your supply goes up, but if you're unfaithful, you're going to lose, and I'm not saying God will take it from you, but the devil will Amen, all right.
-
And so then we we talked about second Kings four, the widow whose husband died and her creditors were going to come take her boys as collateral for the loans that he didn't pay back.
-
And she was in a, she was stuck.
-
And so he said what have you got in the house?
-
And first she said nothing, and then she said oh yeah, I forgot, I've got a little jar of oil, lovely.
-
He said well, go borrow from your neighbors all the jars you can hold and pour out of what you've got and set aside that which is full.
-
So she knew right away that something was going to happen, and so we went through all of that and she filled up every jar with what she had, which means that what you have is enough for your miracle, it's whether you're going to use it, if you're going to hoard it, if you're going to bury it, if you're going to hide it in the wall.
-
I talked about the old man that lived in a trailer house and hid, you know, $34,000, $35,000 in the floorboard and in the behind the paneling and the walls.
-
When he died, his grandson came looking and his grandmother said there's money in that old house, trailer house.
-
He owned 30 some odd rent houses inside the loop in Houston worth I don't know how many million dollars back 40 years or 45 years ago Amazing.
-
Yet he lived, poverty stricken.
-
He was afraid, oh, every day of his life he was afraid of losing what he had.
-
Oh, god doesn't want us to live like that.
-
He doesn't want us to live in fear of what the government is going to do, what Joe Biden does.
-
I'm not afraid of him, all the scurry decisions he's making, and I don't know that he's making the decisions.
-
I think he's probably just a placeholder, but whatever His name is out there.
-
So this widow was able to have a miracle of multiplication and he's.
-
Then profit came back after the.
-
She had used all she had.
-
She had all the jars that she could gather.
-
She ran out of places to pour.
-
Next week I want to talk about some practical things, but this week I just want to get you the word.
-
I want your faith to be in God's word.
-
And the law of use says you've got to use what you have.
-
You can't save it.
-
You can't bury it in the backyard.
-
It's fearful, that's fear.
-
You've got to make your money work.
-
You've got to sow your seed.
-
Which brings me to this week the laws of sowing and reaping, which God Jesus said here in Mark four the whole kingdom operates on this principle and really the principle of sowing and reaping is all through the Old Testament and the New Testament.
-
It's all through there.
-
It's a principle, it's a law.
-
Everybody say the law.
-
So when you add the law of serving, calling use and sowing and reaping, you put all those together and get them working simultaneously in your life and in your, more specifically, in your financial life, you're going to see that you're not going to have to worry about any inflation, you're not going to have to worry about any shortfall.
-
You're not going to ever have to ever worry about any need that you have, because you already know you have a supply.
-
Amen, praise God.
-
There ought to be more rejoicing going on there.
-
So I want to remind you.
-
Jesus here is speaking to a nation largely under the curse, largely disobedient to God's laws.
-
I'm not talking about the Jewish law.
-
I'm talking about the laws that go all the way back to Adam.
-
Please don't get confused.
-
That whole pastor saying we have to keep the law.
-
No, no, I'm not talking about the Jewish law.
-
I'm talking about the laws of the kingdom.
-
These go beyond any religious, any Judaism, all of that.
-
Now, judaism was based on that.
-
But that's not what I'm talking about.
-
I'm talking about the laws of the kingdom.
-
I mean, just think about Luke 6, 38.
-
I guess every time I went to a service at Lakewood, brother Osteen how many, he didn't venture off into a whole lot of other verses, he would just use Luke 6, 38.
-
Every time I don't know how many thousand times I heard that verse Give.
-
Jesus said, and we all said it together Give and it shall be given unto you.
-
Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall men give unto your bosom for the same measure that you meet.
-
It shall be measured back to you again.
-
So there, it is right.
-
There.
-
I mean you just word give one time and all this other happens as a result of your sowing or your giving.
-
And where does it come from?
-
Men give to?
-
You Didn't even say God, it said men.
-
So again, you're in charge of your supply by what you do with your sowing.
-
You've got to sow some seed.
-
If you're going to reap a harvest, it gets back to the law of use.
-
Then You've got some seed and you don't plant it, then you didn't use it.
-
You're hoarding your seed A lot of times.
-
You know, in 2 Corinthians 9, it says you know God gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater.
-
So you know every bit of supply.
-
Let's just say you get a check or you get a supply.
-
You get money in your account.
-
Part of it is for sowing and part of it is for consuming.
-
You're the one that decides.
-
Now I've had God speak to me to give a certain amount.
-
Gladys and I financed our house a couple of years ago and we were denied.
-
We were delayed in being able to get the funds.
-
We had closed.
-
We had closed the loan and we were getting a big check back Equity.
-
I wanted to pull all the equity out of my house because I had some uses for it.
-
In fact, I decided that I was going to invest in some real estate and it was a good bargain for me because I'm going to get a 2 and 3 quarter percent mortgage and I reduced it down because of our age.
-
I reduced it down to a 10 year mortgage, so I got the best interest rate.
-
I'm paying very little total interest in 10 years much less.
-
You got a 30 year interest.
-
If you've got a 30 year interest or 30 year note, you're paying a lot of interest.
-
But I pulled it down to 10.
-
I pulled the equity out.
-
It's sitting there and I'm sitting at a Mark Hankins meeting up in Alexandria and he just quotes this verse as many as you're able, as you're able, you know, give, do good with your money and give.
-
I forgot the exact verse.
-
And God says you just refinanced your house.
-
You're able to do a whole lot today.
-
Well, I had already figured out what we were going to give.
-
In fact, I'd already figured out, I'd already made out the offering envelope, you know, and we were given my credit card.
-
I don't never give my credit card.
-
I give my check here, but there I gave my credit card and I'd already filled out the offering envelope and he said that to me and I kind of went poof.
-
And I mean the figure that I had was just like tilt See.
-
So sometimes the Holy Ghost will nudge you, but most of the time it's just up to you.
-
He didn't, I didn't say give 10 times what you thought you were going to give.
-
That's what we did.
-
We gave 10 times what we were going to give.
-
Well, I couldn't do that right then.
-
I had to wait and talk to Gladys.
-
I wouldn't have done that.
-
I wouldn't have said hey, we're going to get 10 times.
-
You know, I thought, well, I'll see what she has to say about it.
-
Of course she gulped too, and we waited until the next service.
-
We talked about it, we spent a little time praying about it and we felt good about it, but I had to give him an IOU.
-
I couldn't.
-
I couldn't do it because I didn't have the money yet.
-
It was still tied up at the title.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I'm saying this on purpose.
-
I'm talking about God can move you into another place.
-
Be prepared for that right now, because let me tell you something, this country is going crazy, but God's got a supply out of it, and that supply is really under your control, the governments, not even God.
-
Really, it's up to you and your generosity.
-
Well, you know, we, we, we, uh, we told them the situation, darcy.
-
I said I said, darcy, you're going to get this little note.
-
And I said, yeah, here's the deal and it's going to be next week.
-
We'll get the money to you next week because we're we'll get funded on this refinance.
-
And so that's when he was building his building.
-
He got the soul into his building.
-
A big foundational gift for us, for us, a big foundational gift most I've ever given in my life.
-
It was borrowed money.
-
Y'all are looking at me like I'm crazy, but I'm gonna get into some of those things next week.
-
I'm not saying borrow money and give it.
-
I'm saying, though, listen to the Holy Ghost.
-
He set us up for success.
-
I'm telling you, we've been so blessed financially since that day.
-
I'm telling you it opened up a whole other stream.
-
I'm talking about the law of sowing and reaping.
-
Your supply is reaping, but it's based on sowing.
-
Are you with me now?
-
All right, so let's look at Malachi 3.
-
I just think about when you give me and give to your bosom.
-
I mean they get standing light.
-
Back when Gladys and I were living in my sister's house, I had no job, I had no money, I had nothing to sow, I had no time because I hadn't any income and I, you know, there wasn't.
-
Everything was stopped, stuck.
-
I was stuck, Gladys and I were stuck.
-
I said, god, I gotta get unstuck, there's gotta be something.
-
You said you'd give seed to the sower.
-
I'm a sower and a giver, but I haven't got anything to sow.
-
So I went to church that Sunday morning and we were in a prayer partner meeting, in a prayer meeting.
-
They had a prayer meeting in the back.
-
So we were Gladys and I were sitting there and a guy that I know real well.
-
I knew him from full gospel and I knew him from Lakewood.
-
He came up to me here we are praying.
-
You know.
-
He says, john, do you need $100?
-
And I looked at him like it just irritated me so bad and I said do I need $100?
-
And he knew I didn't like it and I said well, you know, if I did, I wouldn't tell you.
-
I said, why don't you just obey God?
-
Whatever he's telling you, do it.
-
Oh, oh, oh.
-
It's like I slapped him right across the face Because God was telling him to give me $100, because I had asked God to give me seed.
-
And where does the seed come from?
-
From men.
-
I didn't know where it was coming from.
-
I didn't say move on, roy, to give me $100.
-
Give me $100.
-
But anyway, I said, why don't you just obey God?
-
He said oh yeah, brother, here, here, here.
-
So he gave me $100 bill and I just had to laugh then.
-
And the God says now you've got seed to sow and I sow that $100 in the next.
-
This was the early service and the next service.
-
We were praying in between and we'd gone to the first service.
-
Now it's in between first and second service.
-
He said you can give that in the offering in the second service.
-
Oh, it felt so good to put that $100 in.
-
It's more blessed to give than it is to receive.
-
When you can't give anything, man, you suddenly you've got $100 in your hand.
-
I mean $100 wouldn't even touch anything about what our needs were.
-
But you know we got to sow that and I knew when I sowed that there was gonna come a multiplication.
-
Are y'all with me now, hallelujah.
-
So sometimes the Holy Ghost will tell you, but most of the time you're the one that's in control of what you sow and you're really in control of what you reap.
-
Malachi, chapter three.
-
Are you getting anything out of this?
-
All right, verse eight.
-
Now, this is 400 years before Jesus, and Israel is back sled, and so are the priesthood.
-
So he's talking to the priest and he said well, a man robbed God verse eight Well, a man robbed God.
-
Yet you've robbed me.
-
But you say where in have we robbed?
-
Where huh me more?
-
And he says in tides and offering.
-
Everybody say tides and offering.
-
So it's possible to rob God in tides and offering.
-
You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed me, even this whole nation.
-
Bring you all the tides into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now here with sayeth, the Lord of Heaven, lord of hosts, put me to the test.
-
If I will not open up to you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, there's not room enough to receive.
-
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your grounds.
-
He gives you the command bring all the tides into the storehouse, put me to the test.
-
And then he starts telling you what the blessings of obedience are.
-
He doesn't just require you to give and then not give you anything back.
-
He doesn't require you to give and not give you a promise.
-
He gives you his side of what he will do.
-
If you're obedient to tithe and to give offerings, he said I will open up the windows of heaven for you.
-
Out of blessing there's not room enough to receive.
-
But the old Robertson went to interview him in 2005.
-
We've got the DVD out there.
-
If you still have a DVD player, a lot of people don't.
-
He asked the Lord, he says.
-
He said, lord, it's never happened to me.
-
I've never had more than I could contain.
-
I've never had more money I could ever contain.
-
How could I ever have that?
-
I just opened up another bank.
-
It's not that hard to contain all the money.
-
He said.
-
I'm not talking about money, talking about ideas, concepts and insights.
-
We're talking more about that next week.
-
I want to get into that.
-
God doesn't have money.
-
He has ideas, he has direction, he has guidance, he has knowledge.
-
He owns the cattle on the thousandth.
-
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness there of the world and they that dwell there and everything belongs to Him and he knows where it is.
-
That information comes to tithers.
-
I'll give you so many ideas that you'll say God, that's enough, I can't process anymore, I can't hold anymore.
-
God, would you hold that thought?
-
Give me a chance to take care of what you've already told me.
-
Are y'all what's happened to me?
-
And I'll rebuke the devourer for your sake.
-
That's what inflation is.
-
It's an eater.
-
He'll rebuke the eater for your sake.
-
Talk more about that next week.
-
He shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine cast a fruit before it's time in the field.
-
Say if the Lord of hosts See, He'll protect your assets.
-
Everybody say He'll protect my assets.
-
You don't have to worry about your catalytic converter getting stolen.
-
Just say no, I'm a tither.
-
You can't touch my car.
-
You can't steal my car.
-
Touch my car, you can't car jack me.
-
God protects me and my assets and all nations shall call you blessed, for you shall be of the light.
-
Some land say if the Lord of hosts, what's that favor?
-
I'm not talking about 360 degree favor in every direction.
-
I'm talking about favor in a specific direction that's consistent with God's purpose and plan for your life.
-
If he gave you favor everywhere you went, then you would know its direction to go.
-
My pastor used to say follow your favor, and that's where I followed my favor.
-
All the way behind this pulpit.
-
Since I got saved, I've been following my favor, and that's where it led me right here.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Yes, all right.
-
So so sewing and reaping has two components.
-
It's got tithes and offerings.
-
They rob God in two areas.
-
Tithes what is the tithe?
-
The tithe is the first tent.
-
It's not a tent, it's not some tent, it's not after you paid your bills.
-
It's the first tent.
-
Now you know, I understand most of you have a check that your company gives you, and they already pulled the taxes out, so you don't have the chance to really do this verse the way that it's designed to do it, so don't feel bad about it.
-
I mean, just when you get your check, though, and you know it's in your bank, like our church, our checks are deposited in our direct deposit.
-
I'm checking my little app now.
-
I'm 21st century.
-
Now, man, I've got an app on my phone and I can tell you I mean, I can even take a picture of a check and deposit it now.
-
Kind of cool, I really liked that feature.
-
Don't have to go to the bank, just take a picture of it, put it in the bank.
-
But anyway, he so he said you've robbed me in the tide.
-
The tide is the first 10th, so give God the first 10th be.
-
I mean, when you get that money goes into your account, the first 10th.
-
Well, do I tie it on the gross of the net?
-
Well, it depends on whether you want him to help you pay your taxes or not.
-
I mean, why would you, why would you even ask that question?
-
Isn't all the money yours?
-
It's all yours.
-
You don't owe those taxes.
-
They're holding it back.
-
Are you with me now?
-
But if I mean, if that's what your faith is, main thing is tied.
-
You want to call the tide on your.
-
It says well, it says tide on the increase and the taxes were taken out.
-
I can understand where you're coming from.
-
I just dangerous thinking.
-
I'll just tell you what I've always done.
-
I've tied on the gross, always, always, always, and I've never had any trouble telling my taxes.
-
I just wrote a huge check last month for my taxes.
-
I know they were not happy to see me owing them that kind of money.
-
So my CPA said now you're gonna have to start making quarterly payments because you, you didn't pay enough.
-
You didn't have enough with hell.
-
I said, good, my money, not their money, that's less money they've got to waste.
-
Anyway, all right, everybody say tithing, if they didn't tie, so they're cursed with the curse.
-
And offerings, he said.
-
And offerings, what's an offering?
-
An offering is everything above the tide.
-
So if you don't tie, there's no such thing as offering.
-
You haven't even qualified to give an offering that God can multiply back to you.
-
If you don't tie, why?
-
Because you didn't put him first.
-
The tide is putting God first.
-
It's making your money serve God.
-
So you give him the first.
-
Adam and Eve.
-
They could eat of all the trees in the garden, but there was one tree that stands for the tithe.
-
That's the Lord's tree.
-
Don't you dare eat any of the fruit.
-
What did the woman do?
-
She ate the fruit.
-
Messed up the whole deal.
-
Amen, that's women.
-
No, I'm tithe.
-
Adam has really got the bigger sin.
-
He watched her and didn't stop.
-
I mean, she was deceived.
-
Adam was just goofy, he had love in his eyes.
-
Okay, so tithing proves that you serve God and not money.
-
But offerings prove that you love God and you love His people and that you love the gospel, that you love making sure that people hear the word of God so they can get saved.
-
That's what offerings?
-
Where does that say that?
-
Let's look at 2 Corinthians 8.
-
I'm talking about offerings, the difference between tithe and offering.
-
Tithe is the first tent and you do get blessed, have all those benefits, but your supply really comes from the offerings.
-
You want more supply.
-
Give over and above the tithe.
-
2 Corinthians 8, he's receiving an offering in this whole chapter and he's looking for the church and the Corinth to do what the church in Macedonia did for the poor saints in Jerusalem.
-
And he said, you know, and he goes into all of the reasons why they shouldn't do it, why they should do it.
-
And then he said, verse 24, wherefore, show you to them and before the church is, the proof of your love and of our boasting on your behalf.
-
See, I've told everybody how y'all got it together and you're gonna do a great job and you're gonna give this money, and you've already pledged it, and now bring the proof of your love, see.
-
I mean, you know love is a word but it's useless without money.
-
Money represents your life, it represents your talent, it represents your time.
-
Really, it's like blood, god told me about.
-
Money is like blood, it's your life, and when you give money, you put something behind the word love then, and it's called the proof of your love, amen.
-
So when you give, see, that's what's so powerful a statement that lets God know not only do you love him, but you love the church.
-
You wanna make sure the church is strong.
-
Bring all the tithe into the storehouse.
-
The tithe belongs at the local church.
-
Storehouse is where you get fed.
-
Well, where does it say that?
-
Well, it's a tradition and it's a good tradition.
-
I mean, if you throw your tithe out there to everybody that mails you a blue line letter.
-
They don't do that very much, mostly it's email and text, but back, you know they used to have these blue line letters.
-
You know, if we can't hear from you today, our ministry is at serious risk and we're gonna have to close our doors.
-
And nowhere, nowhere, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
-
Please, let us have your gift today.
-
You give them $5 and they send you 14 letters a month to get another $5.
-
They spend $25 to get another $5.
-
Because I don't wanna give to that.
-
But your local church is where your tithe belongs.
-
And then offerings.
-
You've gotta be careful not to just throw your offerings out and scatter them to the four winds.
-
Make sure that the church receives the bulk.
-
We're worthy of your offerings because we're invested in so many places doing so many things.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So the laws of serving and calling, the laws of use, sowing and reaping result in your abundant supply, no matter what the world economy is.
-
Amen, come on, let's lift our hands and receive today.
-
Glory be to God.
-
Are you getting anything out of this series?
-
I wanna instill in you such a confidence in God's word that you will not be afraid, and I do want you to walk.
-
I'm gonna talk about some nuts and bolts next week, some testimonies, and I gave you a couple today but I wanna give you some ideas about when you think about ideas, concepts and insights.
-
I wanna talk more specifically about that.
-
I wrote a book Rise Up and Reap it's.
-
I have a few copies left out there as a result of my interview with Oral Roberts, which Oral Roberts was an apostle of the seed.
-
Faith revelation I mean amazing revelation how a guy built a university.
-
I mean, you know, he said God, why didn't you pick somebody else to do this.
-
He said nobody else would do it.
-
You're the first one that said, yes.
-
I find that so many, so many of men of God that I've admired that that wasn't really their desire to do certain things that they did, but others turned God down and they just yielded to God to do it.
-
And I find that, you know, fascinating.
-
But he said John preached this, what I'm preaching this morning.
-
He said preach this, don't stop preaching this.
-
This is the good news, this is the gospel to the poor, it's the good news, it's the guts of the gospel.
-
Why would he say that?
-
Because without money, we can't preach the gospel anywhere, we can't take it anywhere, we can't send anybody to take it anywhere.
-
Are you with me now, god?
-
I have money.
-
Money is a tool of the harvest.
-
Praise God, hallelujah, come on, let's just lift our hands.
-
Father, we thank you for an abundant supply.
-
Lord, you came to give us life, and more abundantly, super abundant in quantity, superior in quality.
-
And we claim our supernatural supply in the midst of this time that we find ourselves in.
-
Lord, we know that it's the end times.
-
We know the judgment of the nations has begun.
-
The world is in a turmoil, not just America, but the entire world.
-
But, father, we are firmly fixed in the kingdom of God, we're ambassadors for Christ and we have a supply that's independent of this world.
-
In Jesus' name, amen.
