Receive Your Kingdom Supply 4

Lift our Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad in the devil mad.

Thank you, worship team, beautiful job.

Well, they set the atmosphere, don't they?

Let's say this together?

Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be in this atmosphere.

It's an atmosphere of worship and praise and thanksgiving, and in this atmosphere, anything is possible.

Nothing is impossible.

No situation I'm facing is impossible, because with God, all things are possible and all things are possible to those who believe and I count myself a believer.

In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated, praise God.

Let's turn in our Bibles to Malachi, chapter three, right before Matthew, this last book of the Old Testament.

We read it last week, but we're going to read it again this week.

Talk more about it.

I promised you that I would give you some nuts and bolts today.

We need the Word, but we need the application of the Word.

Malachi, chapter three, verse eight this is the last prophet to Israel before John the Baptist, 400 years later, and, as I've been mentioning to you, no record that Israel ever repented from this prophet right here.

And he said in verse eight will a man rob God?

Yet you've robbed me.

See, this is a prophet speaking for God.

I mean, that's God to them that office that he stood in.

They didn't have the Holy Ghost in them like we do.

The only way they could contact God and hear from God was through the prophet, the priest and the king.

They're the only ones that had the anointing, so the prophets talking for God.

He said, will a man rob God?

Yet you've robbed me.

But you say where in have we robbed me?

In tithes and offerings.

You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed me even this whole nation.

Bring you all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in my house and prove me now here with.

Put me to the test with your tithes and offerings If I will not open you the windows of heaven.

Those windows is the same flood gates that were open when Noah's flood.

They're big windows, they're big flood gates.

I mean you have.

You know there's a lot of blessing.

Can come through those kind of gates.

See, if I want, empty out my margin, says the the uh.

Well, empty out heaven and pour you out a blessing.

Empty you out a blessing that will shall not be room enough to receive it, and I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine cast her fruit before it's time in the field, sayeth the Lord of hosts, and all nations shall call you blessed, for you shall be a delightsome land, sayeth the Lord of hosts.

Your words have been stowed against me, sayeth the Lord.

Yet you say why or what have we spoken so much against thee?

You have said it's vain to serve God, and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

And now you call the proud, happy or blessed.

Yeah, yeah, they that work, wickedness are set up.

Yeah, they that temp God or even delivered.

That's what they were saying.

They said it's no profit to serve God.

Might as well serve the devil, because they're getting, they're doing better than we are.

Their words were stowed.

So we've been talking about receiving your kingdom supply.

Everybody say I've got a supply and it's independent from this world's economy.

That's the aim of these four messages.

Is fourth message and I'm wanting to encourage you in the midst of all the bad news, you can listen to that or you can get into the Word of God and find out what really is the truth for you.

The truth is not on the news.

There is no truth there.

There's, there's, you know, there's a little, there's a narrative.

You never hear anything that doesn't fit their narrative.

They have an end game.

Oh, pastor, you're one of those conspiracy.

Yep, believe.

I believe it is a conspiracy.

I know the devil's got a big conspiracy.

If you don't believe that, you don't believe the Bible, his kingdom is out there.

They have a legal right to be here and they can say whatever they want, and they don't want us to say what we want.

They want to.

They want to get rid of the freedom of speech.

They want to get rid of freedom to bear arms, and that's not about squirrel hunting.

That's the cast of doubt among those that are in government, to know that they've got an armed population that cannot be abused without risk to their necks.

Now, I said it.

That's the reason it's there.

It's not about hunting.

I haven't hunted in 40 years.

I've got more guns than I ever did when I hunted.

So, anyway, getting into that.

And they want to take away religion.

They want to take away our ability to come here.

They want us to.

They don't mind us right now.

They don't mind us worshiping inside these walls, but when we get outside these walls and say what we believe.

Oh, they don't want that.

They're aiming to take all our rights away and take away the Constitution.

That's what they're wanting to do.

So I'm here to tell you that we have a covenant with God, an almighty God that created everything, and it's his word is stronger than all of what they have in their arsenal.

But we have to know what it is and believe it.

So we've been talking about these laws of the kingdom and you know I'm not going to spend a lot of time rehashing what I've already preached because I want to get into what we're saying today.

But we talked about the first week, the law of serving.

You know you can't serve God and mammon simultaneously.

You're either you're going to either serve God or you're going to serve money.

Well, you can't serve them both at the same time.

So we've talked about that.

He said seek you first the kingdom of God, seek you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, his ways of doing things.

He's got a way to do things and all these things will be added unto you.

The father knows that you have need of all these things.

He knows you have need.

They're legitimate needs Food, shelter, clothing, a gasoline, a car.

You wouldn't be living in Houston if you didn't need a car.

Have you ever tried riding a bus?

Takes forever to get anywhere.

This town was not designed for mass transit.

It's all a boondoggle.

Folks.

It's a boondoggle and politicians are getting rich off the sale of these bus.

I was just driving to church today and I see the ESD 11.

See the new ambulance.

Everywhere you see out here in this part of town they used to have Cypress Creek emergency services.

I've ridden on that ambulance several times Now, I hate to say, on my way to the emergency room, and it was a fine ambulance.

So, as far as I remember, I made it to the hospital, I didn't die in the ambulance and all of a sudden they're gone.

And this new deal is here New name, new ambulances.

Each of those ambulances has got to be a quarter of a million dollars and everywhere you look there's ESD 11, esd 11.

Woo, where did they come?

See, it's another boondoggle.

I'm getting off track.

But listen, despite that, we have a supply.

We've got to know that, got to believe it.

So the law of serving we can serve God first and honor Him with our money.

See God's money.

Serve you, rule over your wealth.

God's not against you having wealth.

He's against wealth having you.

So you rule over your wealth.

He wants you to have lots of money and he wants you to rule over.

He wants you to know where it's going.

He wants you to make it pay back.

He wants you to have success, all right.

And so we talked about the law of calling.

Your supply has a name, it has ears and it will obey you.

Your words need to be stowed against whoever's holding up your supply, stowed against the devil, stowed against anything that's holding up your supply.

I mean, you've got to speak to your supply.

You've got to call your supply to you.

If you're not speaking, you know when you have anxious thoughts, then you're going to have anxious words and you're going to hold up your supply.

Amen, everybody say the law of calling, the law of serving, the law of use.

That week we talked about the law of use Use it or lose it.

You've got to put your money to work.

And that parable of the talents we got into the parable of the talents we got into the lady that had the jars.

He said you know, my husband's dead.

I don't have any life insurance.

The creditors are going to come take my only living, my two boys.

It's the only way I can make a living.

And they're going to come take my boys and I'm not going to be able to live.

Now.

What have you got in the house?

Well, nothing.

Well, I'll take it back.

I do have a little jar of oil.

He said go and borrow as many jars as you can hold and pour out of what you've got.

And when you've got all the jars full so there was the promise right there.

She knew ahead of time what was going to happen when she started pouring out a little bit of oil out of what she had into other places that she was going to get to fill up all those jars.

And that's exactly what happened.

And then he come back and said okay, you know, sell the oil, pay your debt and live off the rest.

Say that's a miracle and it came from the law of use.

She had to use what she had.

If you don't use what you have.

See the.

You know you had the three talents and that guy gained three more 100% return on his boss's money.

One had five, he made 10.

One had one, he buried it in the backyard.

The other two they got rewarded.

They've well done, good and faithful servant.

You've been ruler over little.

Now you're going to be, you know, ruler over much.

Enter thou into the joy of the Lord.

But what did he say to the one that was unproductive?

He said you wicked and unprofitable servant.

And so I had to teach him how hard it is.

You know what you're gonna.

We're gonna take the one away from you, give it to the one that has 10, and he shall have abundance, and you are gonna get thrown out in the outer darkness where there's weeping and gnashing of teeth.

See, that's what fear will do with you.

People that are fearful right now, people that are afraid of their own shadow, people that are afraid of these politicians and what they're saying.

People are afraid of all these diseases instead of fearing God.

So you go.

I fear God, not man.

The fear of man brings a snare.

God's not mad at anybody.

God has given us these laws for our benefit, but when you get on the wrong side of them, you take God out of the equation.

And now, suddenly, you are going to reap what the law says is gonna happen.

It's not God sitting up there saying I'm mad at him, I'm gonna take his talent from him.

No, it's not like that.

It's just already been spoken.

There's a law that you're not cooperating with when you hoard money in panic and fear.

There's a lot of people like that right now.

Oh, I better pull in the horns.

I better, ooh, I better, stop tithing.

That's a suicide mission.

I'm gonna make that case today.

So then we talked about last week the law of sowing and reaping, and really tithing is part of that law.

Tithing is sowing, tithing is giving, and it's just that you're giving to God the first tenth that already belongs to him.

So you honor God.

You can't honor God without tithing, because tithing puts him first, automatically.

It's by definition, it's the first tenth.

That's what tithe means, the first tenth.

Well, yeah, but that's the Jewish law, and Jesus Christ is the end of the law for righteousness.

Well, I'm not talking about the law, I'm talking about the law of the kingdom.

And listen, tithing goes way back before the law of Moses.

Abraham tithed 430 years before the law.

Where did he get it?

Well, he got it all the way from Adam.

You know, cain and Abel is the story of tithing.

It goes all the way back to the beginning.

God had a way for people to honor him and that way he could bless them, even though they were spiritually dead Because of Adam.

Adam's sin caused mankind to be spiritually dead and separated from him, so the only way that man could approach God was over the side of a bleeding sacrifice.

So how did you get to God?

Well, you had to go purchase a lamb.

That was spotless.

If you weren't raising your own, you had to go buy one.

Cain wasn't raising his own.

He should have sold his wheat and he should have taken the prize and bought one from his brother, and then he would have had a proper sacrifice Instead.

See, so Abel, his sacrifice was honored, his sacrifice of a lamb.

It was the firstling of the flock.

That was the prescribed way.

Where did he learn that Adam?

Adam had to kill an animal to clothe himself and his wife.

Remember, it goes all the way back to the garden.

It goes all the way back to the fall.

So don't tell me about the law of Moses.

We're not talking about the law of Moses.

We're talking about the laws of the kingdom that are invalid.

It's just like the law of gravity.

You know what you jump up, you're gonna come down.

Sometimes that's good.

And, of course, if you jump off a building.

That's bad, amen, but I mean without gravity.

It'd be hard for sit here in the church and listen to a good message.

You'd be floating around, I'd be trying to find you.

Oh, they're over there.

Oh, all right laws.

So the law of sowing and reaping.

And so in Malachi, chapter three, it talks about your cursed with a curse.

Now I wanna give you the backstory on this revelation, because I lived it before I knew about it and I look back on my life, I see that I've practiced this and didn't realize what I was practicing.

But in July of 2004, we had just moved into this building and I heard that Oral Roberts had had a visitation from God and he had just retired, moved to Newport Beach, california, he and Evelyn, and left ORU and his son had taken over ORU and all that.

And he was, and I heard that he had this visitation.

It was a major visitation and I wanted to hear about it.

He called it the wake up call.

You know I had a.

You know, just a few years before that, god had told me to wake up the church and I hadn't found anybody that wanted to wake up.

They didn't agree with me, they didn't like the message.

They didn't wanna hear about it.

And so, but when somebody of his stature, a general, I mean, you know, in the late 70s.

I looked up some facts on him 1978, oral Roberts' name was the fourth most known name on the planet.

I don't know if you knew that or not, but he was well known.

He did things nobody had ever done.

He had the biggest tent.

He had the most miracles.

He preached that God was good.

In fact the Pentecostal said don't say that, it gives people the wrong impression of God.

Well, what impression of God do you want them to have?

That God is mean.

See, that's the.

They had the mean God down.

The Baptist had the health fire and brimstone message down Pat.

I still remember James Robison.

He was the main reason I didn't ever wanna go to church with Gladys and Baptist.

And James Robison was a fire breathing, spitting man.

He had fire, fire and brimstone, hellfire and brimstone.

Every message, rock on the hill, god.

I don't know, I don't know if y'all remember James Robison in those days, but I remember him and I flicked it, I turned it off.

I did not wanna hear where I was headed.

I knew I was headed there, I just didn't wanna hear about it.

All right.

So getting back to this message, I went out and I heard him on television twice and I was unsatisfied with the interviews.

They didn't ask him the right questions.

I knew he had a very complex.

You have a visitation with God.

I mean it so much happened so fast you can't even remember all of it five minutes later.

You need someone that's filled with a Holy Ghost that can ask you the right questions and draw out of you and get you back into that experience.

Are y'all with me now so that you can recount what actually happened?

And I didn't hear that on Christian television.

The first interview was his son, richard, and Kenneth Copeland.

Kenneth Copeland, whether or not interviewers, are both preachers and they can't shut up.

Yappity, yappity, yappity.

Here's the man that had the visitation.

Would you shut up and ask the man some questions?

And they didn't.

I was so frustrated I threw my shoe at the TV.

Now I'm an interviewer.

I spent a lot of years on channel 14, local station, interviewing people.

I developed a skill on how to interview people and they weren't following any of the rules of interviewing.

So then the next one was Benny Hinn.

Well, he wasn't any better.

He didn't ask any.

He was quiet, but he didn't ask any questions.

So Brother Roberts just couldn't get all of it out.

But I heard enough and somehow God just did a miracle and he opened door for Gladys and I.

Well, 12 of us went to his home in Newport Beach in January of 05 and I interviewed him and I had a list of questions that I wanted to find out what his visitation was all about, about waking up the church In general.

It's what he said.

God told him that the church is not ready for the second coming of Christ.

Well, that's a pretty big indictment because he, you know, or Roberts, if you follow his ministry, and I certainly did I mean I'd heard him preach a number of times, not as often as Brother Hagin, but a number of times, and Brother Roberts was so positive God is gonna do something good for you today.

See, that was his message.

God is a good God.

See, that's his message.

There's never a corrective word, there's never anything slightly negative about his preaching, but when he had this visitation it was negative.

The church of Jesus Christ is not ready for the second coming.

There is a wasting of power in my church.

Well, I heard that.

I thought, man, there's more to this than just that.

I wanna hear it because that's similar to what he told me.

I mean, he told me to wake up the church and I had to find out how the church was asleep and I was still discovering.

I think the main thing I found out was that 100 million Christians in America have no idea about Israel and their end time importance, that Israel the rebirth of Israel in 1948, is like a giant billboard that says Jesus is coming soon, and the church has ignored it by and large.

In fact, there's more anti-Semitism than ever, and some of it's in the church.

Oh, we're pro-Israel around here.

Does that mean I approve of everything they do politically?

Well, no, I don't mean that.

I mean we're for Israel.

We're for Israel as a nation.

We don't wanna see Israel give away their land for peace.

That's not God, all right.

And then the other thing was that I could tell that churches were kinda dead.

They weren't.

They quit preaching the word and some of these man-lined denominations, their Bible schools, have left God's word all together.

You just don't know it yet, but since COVID you're finding out Some of you have left your church because your church left you and you realize now some of them have become woke.

Woke is the spirit of this age, it's the God of this age, it's the Antichrist spirit.

It is not truth.

I said it is not truth, all right.

So I went to interview him and I had a number of questions and he recounted this whole visitation and he reiterated the fact, which I believe, that God is about to bring a great end time revival that's gonna sweep millions into the kingdom before he does return, but the church needs to get ready.

That was the premise of his visitation that he had.

He took me and showed me where he heard this sound.

It was a little hallway between the bedroom and the living room.

He took me to the hallway.

He said I was standing right here when I heard this noise from heaven.

It was so loud, it reminded me of the space shuttle taking off and you know if you stand there where the space shuttle or such sound waves hit you, you feel the sound.

It hit you in the chest.

He said it was so loud in my house that it blew my sweater open like this and I said, oh, tangible.

And his voice began to speak and he began to.

Anyway, I won't get into all of the details, but I had six questions.

The last question we'd been going for about an hour and 10 minutes and I said brother Roberts, I've got one more question for you.

And he said make it your last, I'm tired.

And I said oh my God, I've overstayed my welcome, but see, that's how intense it was.

He was not used to somebody drawing out and it was taxing for him physically and mentally and spiritually.

Make it your last.

I said, since you see an end time revival, do you then see a plan that God has to bring financial resources in the church to pay for that harvest?

It's gonna take money to reap that harvest.

And he looked at me.

He says John, john, he raised that finger.

I'm glad you asked that question.

I said I'm so glad I said that.

And so then he began to tell me his experience about the financial side.

He said God told me that my people are cheating themselves.

He said my church doesn't tithe, by and large very few.

2% tithe 98% don't Henders the work of the gospel, and besides that they live from paycheck to paycheck.

They're in huge debt.

It keeps them.

They wanna give, they wanna be able to do more, but they're not able to do more.

But they're not able to because of the debt.

He said tell them to bring all the tithes into the storehouse and I will pour them out a blessing.

There's not room enough to receive.

I knew he was quoting Malachi.

God is talking to Brother Roberts.

Brother Roberts said well, father, hold on just a minute.

He said I've been tithing for 60 years and I have never been in the position where I couldn't hold more.

I've never been there.

I've never had so much money that I couldn't take more.

It's been the other way around.

He said I'm not talking about money.

I'm not gonna rain money out from heaven.

I'm gonna rain out ideas, concepts and insights so many that you can't hold them all.

Tell my people I'll give them ideas, concepts and insight.

Tell them that I'll rebuke the devourer.

I'll protect their assets.

Devourer means eater and let me tell you, a great big eater is inflation.

It's eating, eating, eating 24, seven.

But it doesn't have to eat your supply, because he said he'd protect your assets.

If you got 401Ks, if you got investments, if you got a house, if you got anything, if you got some money in the bank, let me tell you something He'll protect your assets.

He'll protect your car.

You don't have to worry about your catalytic converter being.

Just plead the blood of Jesus over your car.

Your catalytic converter is not gonna get stolen.

Jesus' name, he'll protect your assets.

He'll protect your assets.

He'll give you favor.

You'll be a delight.

Some land See everybody hated Israel.

And yet God would give Israel favor in the midst of situations.

And when Solomon was king, I mean, they came from everywhere to see his kingdom.

They were years when Israel followed God, that they had great favor.

God wants to give us favor even in the midst of all this persecution, and he still wants to give us favor in the direction of his plan for our lives.

Tell my people.

And so we finished it up and he said John, this is the gospel to the poor, this is the guts of the gospel.

And he just took me by the shoulders.

He said, john, don't quit preaching this, preach this and if you think they're tired of it, keep preaching it.

Keep preaching it.

Don't stop preaching this.

This is the most important thing I had to share with you today.

It's the guts of the gospel.

Why did he say that?

Because without money, we can't reap a harvest, we can't send any missionaries, we can't do the job.

Do we want God to just put everything on hold and say, well, I'm gonna have to wait for another generation.

You know, he did that once and it didn't turn out too good for that generation.

They wandered in the wilderness for a long time till they died.

Are you with me now?

I don't want God to say to this generation forget about it, I'll just wait, I'll get your kids to do this.

You don't wanna do it, I'll get your children, I'll get your children, children, I'll get your children, children, children.

I'll get you to the thousands.

I don't have to do it in this generation.

I can do it whenever I want to, whenever I find a people that's will it.

Are you with me now?

I'm talking about your divine supply that is independent of this world's economy.

Okay, so we had a wonderful time.

I won't talk all about it, that's not my point.

My point was when we left there, went back to the hotel and I was really just whirling.

I mean it was quite an experience.

I probably I don't know one of the great experiences of my ministry to be there and to do that and have God open that door for me, and so, on the way back to the hotel, I started talking to the Lord.

I said, lord, you know it doesn't say that in the Bible about ideas, concepts and insights.

That's not what the Bible says.

The Bible says I'll pour you out a blessing.

And where does he get that?

I mean, I can't just preach this because he said it.

I need to hear from you.

I need to hear where is this in the Bible?

I don't wanna preach the word.

I don't wanna preach old Roberts.

I love him, I don't doubt him, I believe everything he said, but I've got to have the word.

I don't look at me so innocent.

You know you're the same way.

You wanna know about the word.

Don't tell me a bunch of your opinions.

Give me the word.

I'm sitting in the back seat looking out the window.

It's Newport Beach, beautiful January day, crystal clear, no humidity, ah, about 70 degrees.

It was wonderful.

And they're talking, everybody's talking.

But I'm talking to the Lord in the back seat looking out the window.

What about this Lord?

I do his concepts and then say I don't get it.

I don't know where does he get it.

I know you told him, but where is that in the Bible?

He said well, what about Jacob?

Just like that, three words, what about Jacob?

And I almost swallowed my tongue because I got it in an instant.

Okay, so let's turn back here to Genesis.

What about Jacob?

And this is just one example.

After I started looking in the Bible, I found example after example.

I'm not going to preach them all, I'm just going to major on Jacob here today.

That's good enough.

What you'd be satisfied with one, I could give you five or six, but I don't have time.

Genesis 28, verse 13,.

Genesis 28:13

You know the story.

Jacob, the name means supplanter.

He's a con man and his mother set him up to do it.

He stole Esau's.

Esau's the firstborn.

They're twins.

They don't look anything like fraternal twins, but you know, esau was born first, but he had they tied a string around him and Jacob came out holding that string and held him by the foot and hindered him essentially.

And Jacob was mama's favorite, esau was hairy and manly and he was Israel's favorite, and so Isaac, israel.

And so he stole the firstborn's birthright and his blessing Won't get into all of that.

You can read the whole story.

And so now he made Esau so mad he wanted to kill him.

He's threatening to kill him, so mama sent him off to her brother's house, labored in the Syrian, sent him off.

You go to my brother's house, you work for him, get out of dodge, take that pressure off of yourself.

I don't want you to get killed.

And so he does.

And on the way it said in verse, god appeared to him in a dream.

Verse 15, behold, and God told him, I'm with you and will keep you in all places, whether you go, and will bring you again into this land, for I will not leave thee until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep and said surely the Lord's in this place?

And I knew it not.

And so verse 20, jacob vowed to vow, saying if God will be with me and will keep me in this way, that I go and will give me bread to eat and ramen to put on.

Everybody say that's provision, that's supply, so that I come again to my father's house in peace in Shalom.

I'm going to go to Syria, but I want to come back here.

You told me I was coming back, so if you'll do that, give me supply, bring me back in Shalom, then shall the Lord be my God and this stone which I have set for a pillar shall be God's house and all that you shall give me, I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

So he committed himself to being a tither.

Tithing is not something you do.

Tithing is who you are.

You are a tither.

So if somehow you find yourself with no increase to tithe on, you're still a tither.

Don't ever let the devil say, oh, you didn't tithe, you're not a tither.

Yeah, there were times when I didn't have any income so I didn't have a tithe.

I found something to give anyway.

Are you with me now?

But tithing is who you are and that's who he was.

He's a tither, he's on the run.

You know he had sowed some seed bad seed.

You know the whole Bible is about seed sowing.

You know the golden rule.

You know treat people like you want to be treated Right Well.

He stole the birthright.

So he goes to Laban and Laban mistreated him.

Laban stole for him.

Laban deceived him over and over again.

He falls in love with Rachel.

As soon as he gets to the place, rachel comes all.

Oh, rachel, that's my woo, woo, woo.

She is fine, that's my wife right there.

I'll tell you what Laban I'll work seven years for this woman.

Let me have her Seven years.

I'll work for you, deal.

He wakes up morning after the night and looks over and it's Leah.

It's not Rachel, it's supplanted.

See, he sowed that seed.

Was God mad at him?

No, did God leave him?

No, god was with him.

Was that God's plan?

Well, I don't know.

It's kind of hard to argue.

I mean, we're talking about the 12 tribes of Israel.

Came out of Leah and Rachel and concubines Boy, I'm so glad it's simpler now.

I'm glad for one.

I thought about having two gladices.

Man, I don't know, I wouldn't be able to, I wouldn't be here today, I'd be dead.

And that's a good thing.

I mean, just too much of a good thing.

Amen, all right.

He defined it as a wife.

Find it as a good thing.

She found me.

I didn't find her, but anyway, no, that's wrong.

So I'm asking God you don't have to give me some proof here so you know you keep reading.

I won't make you read it.

Read it later.

It's your homework.

Read the whole thing, because what you will find is is that he worked seven years and then, when he found out he had Leah and he loved Rachel, he said okay, he did that to him.

He said I can't let you have Rachel.

Leah is my eldest.

It would be a dishonor to her.

Of course, you know that she was probably not the prettiest thing on the block and probably going to be a spencer is probably what was going to be.

And so he palmed her off on, say, he's a horse trader, he's a rascal.

You know what?

Laban?

The Middle East is filled with labans today.

We're trying to make peace with them or forget it, forget it, so anyway.

So he said yeah, you, another seven years.

So he worked 14 years for these two women and 14 years later he has not anything of his own.

He has no time.

Everything belongs to Laban.

And Laban is blessed.

He's bigger than he ever was, he's got more sheep and goats, he's multiplied.

And so he goes to Laban.

He said look, I need to go back home, but I can't afford it.

I've got.

I've got to have my own income.

I've worked now, I've done my, what I said, but I need to do something else.

I've got to have my own business.

And if, well, what do you want?

He said I don't want you to give me anything.

Don't give me anything.

Not one thing am I taking from you.

He said, what I'll do is I'll get out there and I'll work for you still.

But everything that's inferior I'll take his mind.

If it's speckled, spotted or ring straight, it's imperfect, it's weaker, it's undesirable, I will take that three days journey away and I'll build a flock out here, separate from yours.

You'll have only the best and I'll have all the reject.

And if you ever come see me over there and you see a good one, you see a white sheep in the middle of all my speckled ones.

You counted it stolen then.

So he starts down that road.

What was that?

Well, that was an idea.

Are y'all with me now?

That's an idea from Hefford, that he didn't have to be beholden to this rascal, that he can kind of get the advantage on him.

He's thinking, oh boy, do I have him over the barrel.

He's gonna have all the bad stuff, I'm gonna have better now.

I'm gonna have better than him.

Ha ha, ha ha.

He's laughing.

He's thinking he got the best end of the bargain.

But God's ideas, you know, the foolishness of God is wiser than men.

Are y'all with me now?

I don't know, pastor, I don't grow sheep.

Well, just in a minute I'll give you more specifics.

But this is what's in the Bible.

I didn't see it, but I've lived it.

You might have lived it too and not known what law you were cooperating with.

So then he had a dream and in the dream he saw some sticks sticking in the ground in front of the troughs, the feeding troughs, at mating season.

And he saw those speckled and ring-straked and cattle mating.

And they were just vigorously mating, you know, in front and they had these sticks, and then the other cattle were just kind of not as vigorous.

So that's what he did.

He had this dream and he just whittled these sticks and made them like streaks and like modeled and like spotted and ring-straked, and stuck them up in front of the feeding troughs at mating season.

And all of those cattle started reproducing and the white ones didn't reproduce as much.

And then he took the stronger of those cattle, those spotted and ring-straked, and he mated those.

He did some breeding that was a concept and in a process of time his flocks grew and they were stronger, just because they were discolored, just because they weren't white.

There wasn't any white supremacy.

In fact it was the other way around.

The white was not as good, you know, because what happened was Laban's flock got smaller and weaker and his flocks got stronger and bigger.

Are you with me now?

And more numerous.

And in six years time he was rich.

Rich, everybody say rich.

And so then he saw that Laban's countenance was falling and he made his plans to get out of Dodge.

And but I wanted you to see that ideas, concepts and insights.

He had to follow that idea.

The first idea was you're not gonna pay me anything, you're gonna give me all the rejects.

And then, as he did that, god showed him how to turn it into a blessing.

And then you keep going further and you perfect that, you make, you start, you start selective breeding.

See, I mean, he didn't go to A&M.

The Holy Ghost can give you a skill and ideas that are beyond your education.

Are you with me now?

So ideas, everybody say ideas, concepts and insights.

See why?

Because he was a tither and God gave him enough favor to get out of there.

Because I mean, laban wanted to kill him and God gave Laban a dream that you can lay a hand on him.

I blessed you for his sake.

You leave him alone.

So he was fearful.

He was big enough, he had enough men, he could have taken his daughters back, he could have taken all his wealth.

I mean that was in his heart to do and God stopped him.

Are y'all with me now?

That's called favor.

And the other blessing is that he protected his assets, he grew his assets.

See, that's all a benefit of tithing.

You know, tithing is not an obligation, it's a gateway into the greatest blessing of your life if you'll just operate and then believe for the results he wants you to have, the results you don't give to get.

You give because it's right to do, but you also expect to harvest.

The motive is love.

You give to God because you love him, you honor him.

You can't honor God with just words.

You can only honor him with money and substance.

In fact proverbs, in fact proverbs, proverbs three, nine and 10,.

Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your increase.

So shall your barns be filled with plenty and your presses will burst out with new wine.

Are you getting anything out of this today?

Notice it says barns plural, presses, plural.

I know this is an agricultural society and maybe you're not in agriculture, but in other words it's the same.

In other words, whatever industry or whatever way that you have, most of us we've worked for a salary.

We have one source of income our salary.

Well, you know what the Bible says that you should have multiple streams of income.

In Jacob's case, every one of those sheep and every one of those goats was another source of income.

And guess what?

He kept multiplying and multiplying.

He had more and more and more.

So maybe, if you're invested in the stock market, every stock that you've got, hey, that's another source of income.

If I were you, I would watch over my wealth and make sure that my stock portfolio does not include all the woke corporations.

You might have to do some editing.

I would get out of Disney.

I would get out of all these people that are speaking against us, everybody that's got this pride business.

I would get out of that stock immediately.

Ooh, pastor, you're meddling in my well, I'm just trying to keep you blessed.

You can't be blessed and meddled with that kind of stuff and see, that's part of making your money rule you and I don't know what the church has done, but I think the church just doesn't care.

They just want their 401K, they want a cash out.

You know what?

You're gonna have to pay more attention to where your seed, what bucket you filled with your seed.

Gonna have to pay more attention.

Something fell off my microphone.

There it is, come back on.

Okay, all right, so show, your barns be filled with plenty and your precious burst out with new wine.

God wants you to have.

Everybody say multiple streams of income.

See when one kind of gets restricted.

You've got others.

Well, pastor, I just don't know how to do that.

Well, you know, start believing God to show you and give you an idea.

It starts with one idea and you have every right.

In fact, you should have so many ideas that you have to say God, would you hold that thought, because I have too many ideas now I don't have enough time to process all of the ideas.

You've opened up the floodgates and these ideas and I've got so much hitting me.

Would you just put a hold on those and just hold my mail for a few days until I have time to process this?

And God will just.

God will keep giving you ways.

He'll give you ways to get out of debt.

That's another thing.

God told Brother Roberts.

Well, it's worse now than it was back in 2005.

My people are in debt.

They're living paycheck to paycheck.

I read where some of these corporate executives that make six figures a year are living paycheck to paycheck.

They're making three, four, five, 600,000 a year.

Oh, try me, lord, try me, you know.

And they're living paycheck to paycheck.

They've gotten out and they've got the big house and the big cars and all this and the country club man, and they're overextended.

Trying to keep up with Joe Blow, and he was overextended.

Are you with me now?

All right, so I live this and I'll just be brief.

I've got so many I could share.

I prayed, I said God, which one of these do I share?

And I just keep landing back on this one.

I've told it before, but it's been a while.

Really, this ministry and this building where we are right now is a result of ideas, concepts and insights.

But I had been out of business for a couple of years and I had been a home builder for a long time and lost my business during the depression of the mid 80s.

And I ran a remodeling company for a year and a half or so when I was laid off.

So I had nothing, I had no job and God hooked me up with a partner, a financial partner, who brought $100,000 cash into the business.

So we opened up bank accounts, got the name of the company and I took him over to West U.

I had in my heart that West U was the place I wanted to land to start building houses.

I was going to go because it was a brand new territory.

They were doing tear downs tearing down the old houses, building new houses.

It's inside the loop.

It's a prime area, next to the medical center.

We got doctors and attorneys and it's starting to boom.

And I'd been driving through there looking and took him and got his agreement and I said you know the thing I see?

And I walked through one of these red brick cubes.

These are 50 by 100 foot lots, real small for that time.

It's kind of normal now but back then, late 80s, 88.

So this 50 by 100 foot lot, well, you don't have room very much for a house.

So it's like a cube.

It's narrow, it's like this two stories and you've got a little narrow eight foot driveway and the garage is in the back hidden behind the house.

You forget if you bought a suburban you've got to sell the suburban to move into that house because the suburban is going to.

You can't put that in the garage.

You can't even drive down the driveway because the mirrors are going to hit the fence next door and the wall of your house.

That's how narrow I mean by Honda.

Dr Jones, sell your Mercedes and buy a home anyway.

So I said that's stupid.

And then the floor plans are terrible, they're just old and they've got little bitty rooms all segmented out.

You can't see anything.

Walk in the front door and it's just.

Everything's narrow and small and just I said this is we've got to do better.

I think we can do better if we get a bigger or wider lot, that might be cost us more money, but I was looking for what I was looking for a USP a unique selling or USF a USP unique selling proposition.

So I needed to differentiate my houses from everybody else's.

If I build what they're building, then it's strictly about price period and I'm trying to make money, I'm not trying to, and I basically, with the money we've got, we're one house at a time, so it's got a count.

I don't have time to experiment and get something and just barely make a profit and then you know you don't have anything.

So I've been praying, you know, and God gave me the idea of a wider lot.

So I went to my plan designer guy that I'd worked with for years and I sat down with him and I talked to him and I said you know, 50 by 100.

He said, oh, yeah, I don't know all about West G.

I've designed some houses and he showed them to me.

I said, yeah, those are the ones I'm talking about.

I hate them, sorry, but those things are just old looking and I those houses looked like they were built 15 years ago.

They're tiny little entry hall, little living room is 12 by 13 and little din is little bitty thing.

I mean, the kitchen is just no island in the kitchen.

Are you kidding?

300,000 plus and you don't even have a kitchen big enough for an hour.

I said what if we get a 60 foot lot?

He said, oh, that changes everything.

He sat down right there on his desk.

He started sketching my unique selling proposition, ideas, concepts.

Here it is, you just need it.

If you can get a 60 foot lot, this is what we can do.

You can have what we call a port-a-cache, a drive under porch.

The downstairs of the house is going to be less square footage than the upstairs.

The downstairs of the house is not going to have a living room, it's just going to have a bigger din, a bigger open concept.

The inside of the house will be real, modern and open sight lines all the way through to the backyard.

The backyard is small.

You want sight lines, you don't want everything all closed up.

When you get into the din and look at the backyard, you don't even have a backyard.

So it's stuff that I'd learned before in different places.

So he drew this thing up.

Where you go, you drive up under the port-a-cache in a heavy rainstorm which we have in Houston and your doctor's wife stay-at-home mom, you've got your children over at River Oaks Elementary, you've got West UN Elementary, excuse me.

You get out of your car and go right into the kitchen and put your groceries up right by the you don't get wet.

Your hair doesn't get wet.

You just got your hair fixed.

You just got your nails done.

You got your toes done.

You're protected from the elements and then when it stops raining, then you can pull your car forward into the garage.

You've got enough room to put two cars in the garage because of this design.

And upstairs you've got a big master bedroom, a big master bathroom, two big closets, instead of this ugly-looking thing that I saw.

That was my competition.

And, to make a long story short, that house sold for a record profit or record square foot price in that area of West University.

They all said, now, this end of West U, this is a hard sell.

It's too close to the railroad tracks, it's just one block off the railroad and people don't pay very much for this.

I said, well, they will, when they see this house they're going to pay it.

And so the houses that I was competing with were at 325.

I sold this house for 369.

And it set the record and we made a profit.

That was good for our first house.

I'm talking about ideas, concepts and insights, and I rode that horse, that USP, for eight years.

Everybody say eight years.

It made me a living.

I said it made me a living, amen, praise God.

So my advice to you is that ideas, concepts and insights have to do with supply.

It also has to do with getting out of debt.

God can help you get out of debt if you will aim at something.

Maybe you've got a credit card.

You know, look at if you're in debt and you've got several credit cards.

The first thing you need to do is start getting rid of those credit cards.

You'll take the one with the smallest balance.

No, I heard from so-and-so that it's the highest interest rate.

Well, let's start with possibilities, because the one with you know, just start with the one with the smallest balance.

You've got a store card, let's say you've got a store card Old Navy.

You've got an old Navy card that you're carrying a balance on.

Look, get rid of that thing and cut it up.

Don't use store cards.

You're not paying too much, you're paying too much and use your money to pour into that bucket.

See, you pour into the bucket called Old Navy and you get rid of that card and you know what, when that thing goes away.

Now you've only got two cards and now you go on to the next one and you keep waddling away until you get the second one done, until you get one card.

Now you're talking, and now your credit score just went up.

You'll probably, if you're really really badly in debt on that third card it's really high you might be able to negotiate something with a credit card company now that you've gotten rid of two credit cards and you've got a record of paying more than the minimum.

See, this is what kills your credit is paying the minimum when you pay the minimum.

Do you know what that is as a timeframe?

It's 38 years when you pay the minimum on any card, it's going to take you 38 years to pay the thing off, and that's if you never charge on it.

So who makes all the money?

And who has the skyscrapers with the marble lobbies and the brass elevators?

Capital one.

What's in your wallet?

Nothing but plastic.

Nothing but plastic.

Amen, oh, come on, let's lift our hands right now.

Oh, I didn't know I was going to come to a financial seminar.

Well, I just believe, as your pastor, I have.

Oh, you know, most of you are sophisticated, most of you know this thing, but we have new people.

Hadn't heard this before.

Listen, I go.

I stopped short of saying debt's a sin, but debt can be a sin Because when you are not ruling your money and your money's ruling, you see, that's when it becomes.

You're going against the law of the kingdom.

Make your money work for you, make it, make it happen, make it work for you.

Well, I don't understand how I can do that when we've got inflation.

Well, see again, don't be inflation conscious.

Be supply conscious.

See, employ all the other laws, the laws of sewing and reaping, being a tither listing for ideas, concepts and insights.

See that God will give you the plan if you'll ask Him the law of use, use your money, use what you have.

What you have is enough.

I said what you have is enough.

You keep saying, oh, it's not enough.

Well, see, what are you doing?

Well, your words are stout, against the principle.

Start saying, yeah, what I have is enough.

I've got enough for my financial miracle.

I do, and God cares about my needs.

He meets all my needs.

My God supplies all my need according to His rich and glory.

In fact, next month I'm going to need such and such.

I call that proficient in right now.

See, start being on the attack instead of dread.

Oh, I don't know how we're going to do next month.

They don't be saying that.

Say the opposite.

And the more you speak in line with these laws that I'm talking about, employ the laws of sewing and reaping.

I mean laws of sewing and reaping.

Really unite all of the laws that I've been talking about.

Amen, praise God, receive your kingdom supply.

Come on, let's just lift our hands and receive.

I tell you the world wants you to believe that our best days are behind us.

No, our greatest years.

I mean, this is our greatest year yet.

As far as I'm concerned, this is our greatest year yet.

Well, didn't you say that in 2020, and we had all the COVID, it was still our greatest year.

Yet we got out of debt as a church.

We don't owe anything to anybody, except to love them.

We upgraded and updated this sanctuary and we're still working on things.

Amen, praise God, hallelujah.

Well, come on, let's do a little shouting this morning.

Praise God.

Now, how many of you learned something that you didn't know about ideas, concepts and insight?

Just lift your hand If you learned something you didn't hear about before.

See, I've got several of you, lots of you.

Amen, it's worth it, and that's part of tithing.

See, the blessings that he's raining down.

God doesn't have money.

The money's all down here.

All everything we need is down here as far as our finances, our, where we live, eat and everything is down here.

So he doesn't have food, shelter and clothing to rain down either.

So everything we need.

We need ideas about how to position ourselves to receive what it is that we need.

That's another aspect of ideas, and if you're not believing for them, if you don't know, they belong to you.

In my life since I got saved, I've been a tither and a giver, over and above the tithe, and yet that didn't keep me from losing my business.

It didn't keep me.

It didn't exempt me.

See, it's not automatic.

What does it depend on?

It depends on you receiving those ideas, concepts and insights.

And so I've received that idea about my unique selling proposition in West University place and it turned into a blessing for me.

But you know, a few years before that, I received another idea that I didn't realize.

It was an idea from heaven that came from my tithing, and I used it, but I just let it go.

I didn't pursue all the way to ideas, concepts and insights.

I didn't receive the insight of that idea.

It would have preserved me through that depression that we had here in this town in the 80s.

Could have, would have, should have.

Well, you know, I had to learn.

If you have to make a mistake, at least learn from it.

That's not God's best way to teach you.

It's one way, but it's not God's best way to teach you.

But learn from mistakes, amen.
