Restoration Day 1

Let's wave our Bibles around, let's say this together Say, heavenly Father, once again thank you for being our God, for revealing your will to us Today.

The Word of God holds for me important keys for my life going forward.

You chose me to live in the last days as part of the terminal generation.

I truly believe that Jesus is coming soon and I want to be found doing His will.

I want to be found restraining the power of antichrist.

I want to be found reaping the harvest of souls in Jesus' name.

Amen.

No, clare preached an interesting message the other night multitudes in the valley of decision.

They really are, and the people that are on the other side of this issue are not exactly our enemies.

They're just obeying our enemy.

But some of them are ripe harvest, some of them are ready to get saved, and so we just have to keep our hearts right.

Let's just, let's be happy, let's be joyful.

I'd say this all the time.

I have to preach this to myself but don't immerse yourself in the news.

I mean, see what's going on and then immerse yourself in the Word, immerse yourself in praying in other tongues.

Amen, keep the joy of the Lord.

All right, let's look at Joel, chapter two, the book of Joel, he's listed as a minor prophet.

I don't think he sees himself as a minor.

When I see him I don't think I'm going to call him.

Oh Joel, you're the minor prophet?

No, I don't think I'll say that.

If you're still looking at some page 1088, if you've got a Kenneth Copeland King James version Bible, all right verse.

We're going to start reading verse 23.

It says be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord, your God, for he has given you the former reign moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the reign, the former reign and the latter reign, in the first month, and the floors shall be full of wheat and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

And I will restore.

Everybody shout restoration, restoration.

I will restore the years.

I'll restore to you the years that the locust has eaten the canker worm and the caterpillar and the Palmer worm, my great army, which I sent among you We'll talk about that in a moment my great army that I sent among you, and you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, that has dealt wondrously with you.

And my people shall never be ashamed, and you shall know that I'm in the midst of Israel and that I am the Lord, your God and none else.

And my people shall never be ashamed.

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters are prophesied.

Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions, and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids.

In those days will I pour out my spirit and I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth blood and fire and pillars of smoke.

The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.

And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call, when the name of the Lord shall be delivered For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

And so I wanted to share this message entitled Restoration Day.

That's the day we're living in right now.

You know, peter, the Apostle Peter quoted part of the biggest verses in Joel, chapter two, on the day of Pentecost, and Acts, chapter two, and I've been reading in Acts, just got through reading these verses in Acts and of course we know that the day of Pentecost, 50 days after Passover, it was an appointed time, it wasn't a random time, it wasn't just like, well, god's gonna send the Holy Ghost someday.

No, no, he had it lined up on the day of Pentecost, which is a Jewish feast, and it had to be there because it Bible says later in Acts, chapter two, that people from every nation, tribe and tongue were in Jerusalem on that day.

Well, that was all the Jews that were commanded to come and keep the feasts.

So what God did on the day of Pentecost was not just in secret.

He did something so that the entire world, the known world, would know.

And so you know the story.

They were all in the upper room, 120, including the Blessed Virgin.

Yeah, he had appeared, over 500 people at one time, first Corinthians, chapter 15, says, but only 120 showed up 24% Just about the same ratio.

Today he's called a lot more people than have showed up.

I believe there are more of them gonna show up.

I think more and more people are awakening.

I'm more and more people who call them in the name of the Lord realize they need church.

They got an excuse not to go and now they're seeing the church is necessary.

And so they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues.

And then they came out of the upper room, came out down the stairs and people started all those people that were gathered.

They started mocking them.

These men are drunk.

What mean if this?

They said what mean if this?

And Peter standing up, so he's on the ground drunk.

That's my version.

You got your version.

I know Peter was drunk drunk in the Holy Ghost.

Have you ever been drunk in the Holy Ghost?

You don't know what you're missing.

We need to do more drinking than less thinking.

Too much thinking in the church.

Need more drinking, thank you.

So he stood up.

You heard the question.

He's drunk, but he can still hear people.

What mean if this?

He stood up.

He said these are not drunk, as you suppose, but this is that spoken by the prophet Joel.

And the Amplified says this is the beginning of that spoken by the prophet Joel.

Now, every Jew there knew exactly who the prophet Joel was and what he said.

They know their Bible, they know Joel.

So he's telling them this is a fulfillment of what he said.

This is rain.

I'll send you the former rain.

Now you have to understand that Israel was an agricultural nation.

I always got its wealth from agriculture, and to have a successful harvest crop money, amen you had to have rain.

You had to have a planting rain former rain, which would wet the soil about two inches is what it would take, accumulation over a short period of time right around the planting seasons.

And what was that for?

Well, so that they could turn the soil over and put the seed in a moist that had a residual moisture, moist enough that had enough moisture so that when it was covered over, the seed would germinate and it would send roots downward and shoots upward.

That's how you know the farmer John can tell you about how to grow a crop.

That's all I know about farming right there.

And so you gotta have gotta have wet enough soil to have a plenty.

You can't just plant some dry sand.

You know you gotta have the former rain.

For Israel, rain was a sign of God's blessing when they obeyed his word, when they worshiped him.

Are you with me now?

God sent the rain, the former rain and the latter rain.

What's the latter rain?

Well, the latter rain is another rain that you gotta have right before harvest time.

I mean the planting rain is just, it's gonna support the plant enough to get it above the ground, you know, and it's gonna grow, but as it grows it gets bigger and bigger.

And I mean, if it's weed or if it's corn or whatever, when it starts to put on fruit, it's gotta have some moisture, it's gotta have a whole lot more than two inches.

It's gotta have the latter rain.

The latter rain is the harvest rain.

And so this is that spoken by the prophet, joe of God.

Not only gonna give you a planting rain, which this Peter is saying, this is the planting rain.

This is the beginning of the harvesting that God's gonna have in the whole world.

Jesus was the firstborn among many brethren, not a few brethren, and for him to have other brothers, you're gonna have to have some rain.

You gotta have the planting rain.

This is the planting rain.

So when we read the book of Acts, that's all a result of the planting rain, and I see the church sparkling with the supernatural.

I see the church not having any needs.

The church at Jerusalem started out.

There was not one among them that lacked planting rain.

But he's talking about you know.

You know Joel is not just prophesying about just that time.

He's looking ahead 2,000 years later to I believe it's our day and we are expecting the latter rain, the former and the latter rain together.

Which what does that mean?

It means we're gonna plant and we're gonna reap all in the same time.

We're gonna plant stuff and it's gonna grow up, and we're gonna plant one day and reap the next.

We're gonna plant one day and reap the next.

We're gonna plant one day and reap the next.

Whoo glory to God, restoration I will restore.

So if then that was the beginning, this is the beginning.

This is that.

This is the beginning of that spoken by the prophet Joel.

I believe I can say that this is the culmination of that spoken by the prophet Joel.

This, what's going on right now, is the culmination of that spoken by the prophet Joel.

Are y'all following me?

Now I'm telling you things have shifted and everything happens in the spirit realm first, and then it bursts out on the scene where we can actually see it.

So, just this past week, look at all of the stuff that happened for our benefit, everything we've been standing for, praying for, speaking for I mean.

Things are beginning to change.

Are they where we want them?

No, of course not.

If everything perfect.

Nobody's perfect, but Jesus, you're looking for perfect people.

There aren't any, but God uses imperfect vessels.

He used Donald Trump.

I remember when God spoke to me in March of 2016, during the primary season.

He's my man.

Redirect your prayer groups, just frankly.

They were all praying for Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz is a good Christian guy.

He's a brilliant lawyer, a good senator, great senator.

I like him, we have a connection with him.

His father loves our church and so he knows about us and I can't tell you anything else.

But there were some things happened at the convention last week and so I'll let somebody else talk about that.

But let me tell you something Great connections, but God said Donald Trump Pretty crazy looking person for the church to support, but when I hear from God, I'm ready to stick my neck out because I don't care what people.

I had some people that didn't like it.

They were mad that's not my candidate.

I didn't like it.

He's not even saying well, how do you know?

He's not saying he's the most pro-life president we've ever had in our existence.

He's been the best president for the church that we've ever had.

Who would have ever dreamed it?

God, I'm not sure who's the best that ever dreamed it God.

God looks on the heart, we look on the outside.

I followed his life pretty close for about 25 years.

I thought I knew him, but I'm telling you right, he surprised me, pleasantly surprised me.

Until then he didn't surprise me.

At the end it kind of wound up bad.

But I still love him.

I'm not saying I never would vote for him, but I mean, you know, I'm gonna have to see who runs.

God hasn't said anything to me about next time, maybe a little too early, I don't know.

But I'll let you know what I get.

And I know God.

See, I'm seeking his perspective.

That's all I care about.

I want to be on his side.

He has a side.

Where is your side, god?

I'll get on your side.

I don't care who it separates me from, identifies me with who likes it, who doesn't like it, amen.

So this is the culmination of that.

Look at the good he did.

Had the best economy we've had, stock market at all time record.

We were respected in the world Of prideful Europeans.

They had to finally pony up and pay money, always making us proud, always making us proud.

Pay all the expenses for their security.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.

It's stupid for us to send the Ukraine a bunch of millions of dollars when we have just wrecked the economy with the policies, this goofball.

Well, anyway, I don't want to go down that road.

It's beside the point.

You know, god's blessing is overtaking us.

It might look bad in the world, it was bad in Egypt, it was bad, but God knows how to bring blessing to His people right in the middle of judgment.

So in 2004, in fact, next month it'll be 18 years ago Dr Roberts had a visitation.

I've talked about it recently.

I want to say it again.

I had been told by the Holy Ghost, five weeks after Pastor Osteen, my spiritual father, went to heaven.

I mean I'm still, you know, searching for my ministry and what I'm supposed to do now that I mean I wasn't expecting him to die and he's gone and I had guys call me who you're going to get as a father.

I said my father went to heaven.

I'm planning on being a father.

I can't go and look for a father.

I don't intend to.

I don't have that relationship with anybody and I didn't.

I don't have a father.

My father went to heaven.

I have my heavenly father and he and Pastor Osteen and his legacy.

And so it's time for me to step into the role that I sold into.

And so that's what I started doing.

And on the heels of that, five weeks after that, god told me I want you to wake up.

The church.

They're sleeping their beds with the covers pulled over their heads.

What does that mean?

It means they're not aware of what's going on, and when I speak to them they think it's the devil.

They're so out of tune with his desires say that they don't even know the voice of God.

What does that mean?

It means a whole lot of the church is way off voting wrong, and when they do vote, a lot of the church don't vote.

They say I well, they just voted.

And in that power vacuum is why we have what we have.

They took prayer out of the schools.

The church did nothing in the 1960s.

They had abortion in 73.

The church did nothing and we had to live with it.

You can't tell me that if the church hadn't rose up and started screaming and praying and crying again you know it's a small minority did, but not.

Not like it should be.

And then what happened?

Well, we had Watergate.

We had all kinds of terrible things that happened in our country that changed the nature of our republic and big companies and big money started running our government.

Maybe they always had, but, man, it accelerated during the seventies.

We get into these bad wars like Vietnam.

That was a terrible war to be in.

We had no interest in that at all, zero.

So there was a lot of things that happened and you look back and the church was silent.

Nixon had it right the silent majority where we're silent, no more.

So he had this visitation.

Now I tried, I wrote a book, I talked to everybody.

I could talk to all the ministers that I knew.

I talked to everybody I could find and nobody was interested in the wake up call.

They I mean, they didn't care about my version, they didn't care about waking up the church.

They didn't.

I started preaching in my church and I lost people.

It's not exactly a church growth seminar.

And what did you preach?

Well, I doubled down on.

I'd always been vocal about politics.

I'd always been from the, from the first building.

I talked about Clinton when he had it, biting his lower lip and saying that he had repented.

No, he didn't repent.

If he'd repented he would have resigned the office.

You lied under oath and you had an affair in the oval office of God to say I mean, just think, and all of the details of it.

God revealed it.

That's judgment.

When God reveals sin, that's judgment.

I started teaching my people about what judgment is.

They didn't want to hear it.

I'm a Democrat, I've always been a Democrat and I'm going to stay a Democrat.

Well, okay, more Democrat than Christian?

Okay, yeah, we don't, we don't, we don't let it slide.

Well, if God's not a Republican, well, I'll tell you one thing he's got a side, and when I see the Republican platform, including the newest one they just voted on, which is a bunch of our members were there and a bunch of our members had had something to do with the planks in that platform, right here in this church.

Let me tell you something there's influence here and we've got something to hold our elected officials accountable to when they don't perform.

They don't have an option.

If they're Republicans, they're going to.

And so, yeah, I know God's not a Republican.

God's God, are you stupid?

But he has a side, and of the two parties, both of which are imperfect, one is much better than the other.

Can you at least admit that?

Besides that, the Democrat party is not the party of your parents or your grandparents.

So he he came out and said that he'd had a visitation from God.

And he was, and I saw it on Christian television.

I saw two different back, three different versions, none of which were done the way I would have done them.

I had some practice at being an interviewer and interviewed a lot of people on TBN locally.

I knew how to interview people and get things out of them.

It takes the right questions, it takes patience.

You've got to let the other person talk.

You can't preach, and everybody was interviewing him with preachers and they wouldn't let him talk and he didn't get it out and I knew he didn't.

So God opened the door for me to go interview him and I and I got most of it out, but it was rapidly leaving him because the church at large did not accept his warning and he called it the wake up call Boy.

When I heard that, cause, that's what it, that's what God told me, wake up the church.

And so in 99 to 2004, so five years later, it took five years for me to find anybody that would confirm what I was saying.

I was bold to say it, but I didn't have a big audience and the audience I had buying Lawrence didn't.

I mean, some of you liked it, but a lot, of, a lot of people didn't like it.

Change is difficult for some folks.

They want the same, the same, the same.

They're not willing to move with God.

My job is to get you to move.

Move on with him, not me him.

So I got to interview him and it was a confirmation of what I'd said.

And still, when I went the next year to follow up with him, it had all left him.

He didn't want to talk about it again.

Why?

Because nobody listened.

He had lots of preachers going out there to sit with him.

They heard that he was, that he was allowing people to come and interview him at his home after his retirement for more of you, and so they were going out there.

But they weren't asking about the wake up call at all.

They just wanted to shoot the breeze.

They just want to have a photo op.

I knew several that did that.

Well, I wasn't interested in a photo op.

I wouldn't work.

I wasn't interested in shooting the breeze.

I was interested in confirmation of what God had told me and, to expand it, exactly what it is that Jesus told you.

He's a general of the faith, he's one of the ones whose shoulders we stand on.

So he showed me what happened and described it in detail.

I have it out there on a DVD.

Wrote a book, rise up and reaps, got some of it in there.

But he sat on this particular day he wasn't thinking about anything in particular.

He was walking from his bedroom into the kitchen area, the living room, kitchen, and he showed me the little hallways, about seven, eight foot long little hallway, he said.

I got in this hallway and all of a sudden I heard a sound that was so loud it reverberated to my whole body.

I felt the sound and it blew my sweater, this little gray.

He had that sweater on when I interviewed him, little gray sweater, it blew my sweater open like that and I thought about the space shuttle going out there and watching the space shuttle take off and the massive amount of loud noises those rockets make.

And unless you've ever witnessed which I've never witnessed one except on TV, but I'd love to have been present because it shakes you from a mile away, you can hardly stand there.

That's how he felt.

He shook and he said in the middle of that noise he said I knew it was God's voice.

Well, I heard a voice like that.

It wasn't as loud, but it was military and it was get up.

That was my first encounter with that voice.

Get up, I want you to wake up that church".

So he heard this voice and he said suddenly I was in New York city and there was this huge cloud not touching the ground and immediately when I saw it, I was reminded of the blood, the fire and the vapor of smoke.

And Acts, chapter two, joel, chapter two.

And God said and then you saw that cloud move up and down the Eastern seaboard across America and around the world.

That was his order of what he saw.

He wondered if it had to do with 9-11.

I think that's part of it, but I think it was bigger than that.

I think it's just a marker.

There's a marker this is 2004.

You know this is three years after They've already decided to build a bigger building.

They didn't repent.

Nobody repented.

The church didn't call anybody to repent.

The church's message on 9-11 was let's pray for to answer this, let's pay them back, not let's repent for the sin of this nation.

The church didn't lead in that.

I did.

I recognized what it was, but again, I didn't have the footprint back then, I didn't have the power back then.

In fact, that morning of 9-11, gladys and I were headed to channel 14 and we did a praise the Lord program, a local praise the Lord.

And guess what we did?

We knelt and we repented on behalf of the country.

First prayer meeting that I know anything about was going on while the Twin Towers were falling.

How's that for prophetic timing?

So I feel like I have paid a price to be involved in this situation.

So I was so eager to hear what he had to say and it matches up with the Word of God.

He saw the blood, the fire, the vapor of smoke, and right now it's 18 years later, and just see the disaster that's been over our country.

It's like a Paul, it's like a you know, it's like a haze that you know, gross darkness.

How about that one?

How about that one?

It's gross darkness and the church has got to shine.

If we don't shine now, we're never gonna shine.

Amen, time for us just to shine.

So in the middle of all that, what did God say?

Yeah, you're gonna see that cloud, but I, he said in the midst of that, I'm gonna restore the years that the locusts ate my great army that I sent among you.

Now Joel is incomplete Bible knowledge.

Joel just doesn't know everything we know today.

He doesn't have 21st century revelation.

He hasn't had the kind of revelation we have been sitting under.

And so they knew very little about the devil.

They knew very little about demon powers.

So everything that happened was God doing it.

That's why, you know, god cursed Egypt.

Well, no, god didn't do it.

They were on the wrong side.

They were not doing things according to God's perspective, and so the devil cleaned their clock.

We know better now.

We know God didn't knock the buildings down on 9-11.

God didn't send those Saudi Arabian pilots.

You know, the guys that don't, you know, don't have any schooling.

How do you learn how to fly a 747?

Or you know, whatever they were flying wasn't a 747, but they're big jets.

I mean, they just went to school long enough to learn how to take off and fly.

They didn't even learn how to land, wouldn't that ding, ding, ding, ding.

You don't mean you don't want to learn how to land, you just want to learn how to fly.

I mean, if I was teaching them, I would have called somebody.

I think, wake up, that Paul, that veil oh, thank God, we're not walking in any veil, we're walking in the light of God, the love of God.

So he said the enemy.

He said and he named them the caterpillar and the palm worm and all that.

It just look those are demon powers.

The enemy has eaten years, he's the eater.

You know, if God rebukes the eater, he rebukes the devourer for our sex right.

Malachi, chapter three, we talked all about that week before last.

Well, if the eater is God, then is God gonna rebuke himself?

No, it's the enemy.

The devil is the eater.

The devil is the destroyer, the devil is the thief.

Let's not get the devil and God mixed up.

God's not responsible for the evil that's coming on this earth.

He's not responsible for the terrible stuff it's going on.

It's the devil.

And when we fail to get on God's side, we're automatically on what side?

There's only two sides, there's not three.

God's not a triangle, he's a triangle in God's Father, son and Holy Ghost.

But you can see here what I'm saying.

So God says I will rebuke, I will restore to you the gears that the locust has eaten.

I like what the Greek, linguistic, greek New Testament says.

It says, or rather the Hebrew.

The Hebrew says I will surely make amends.

Very similar when he quotes this in the book of Acts in the Greek.

But I'll quote to you what the Hebrew says God says I will surely make amends, I will surely prosper, I will surely make restitution.

What's restitution?

Payback Everybody say payback.

I will surely make restitution, I shall surely make recompense.

What's that mean?

Payback again, there's an element of payback.

I said there's an element of payback because we weren't guilty of the problem.

We spoke against it, we prayed against it, but we had to suffer with the same ones that went through it all.

We maybe suffered needlessly.

If we just knew our covenant we wouldn't have to go through.

That's why I've been teaching about the laws of prospering.

That's why I've been teaching on how to receive your kingdom supplied.

We don't have to suffer with the ones that are in disobedience.

God doesn't want that.

I will surely make amends.

I will surely prosper.

I'll surely make restitution, I'll make recompense.

I'll make peaceable again the years that the enemy has stolen.

It seems like he's stolen years.

God has used these verses in my life for many, many years, 40 plus really.

I mean I got a hold of these verses through all of my business, reversals and different things, when I'd missed God and I went through the consequences.

When you don't walk with God, who are you walking with?

When you don't listen and follow the witness of the spirit?

Guess what?

He's going to be under the heel of the devil and he's going to have freedom to steal, kill and destroy.

And in my case I mean my finances got pretty messed up when I missed God a couple of times.

You know I talk about it a lot, but I would go back to these verses and I would just believe you know he's going to send it in the first month.

One time he said I'll send it to you in the first month.

And that was a time when I was broke and I was trying to get back to Houston.

I knew I'd missed God yet again and I was out of his locational will.

See, there's two things about the will of God.

Number one location.

There's a place called there.

That's the most important thing.

And then, once you have the location, the church, and that's what he spoke to me.

He said I want you back in Houston Texas.

Excuse me, I got it backwards.

I want you back at Lakewood Church in Houston Texas, just as if I didn't know where Lakewood was.

But he was telling me that, because it's the most important thing for the will of God in your life is the locational will of God and where you get fed.

You can't just go anywhere and get fed Like spin the bottle.

You know, let's spin the bottle and see who's going to kiss me.

You, you, you, you, you.

I know y'all never played that in junior high, know that Y'all are so holy.

I never did either, but anyway, I heard about it.

I went to Catholic school.

We didn't do any of that.

So everybody say restoration.

See, he is surely he's in charge of restoration.

What the devil is stolen and he's stolen years.

Think about that.

Stolen years.

And there've been years that he stole from Gladys and I and my family years.

And yeah, we let him, but still, god didn't like it.

I'm planning on getting restored.

I'm planning on God giving me restitution and recompense.

It's not like I did something evil, like I went off the rails or something.

I just made the wrong business decision and got out of God's perfect will.

Are you with me now?

There's plenty of Bible examples of restoration and I can talk about Moses.

Think about Moses.

You know he was drawn out of the river, jewish boy Pharaoh's, killing all the newborns.

He's afraid of Israel because they're multiplying faster than the Egyptians.

So his solution was to not just to abort but to kill babies after they're born.

Did you know that that is on the agenda, coming up state by state?

Jasekulah I heard Jasekulah talking about it the other night and they have a term for it which escapes me.

I don't have the term, but up to 28 days after birth they want to be able to kill the baby legally.

They're doubling down on abortion.

Not only do they want to abort, they want to kill the baby 28 days later.

I don't know if that isn't evil.

I don't know what is God's watching?

What can we do?

Well, we have to pray and we can cry against it, and I believe that as we, you know, grow in our footprint, we can influence some of the people in Congress and so forth to shut that down.

I know one thing if it's ever challenged in court, I believe the Supreme Court will overturn it.

It's murder.

But he spent 40 years as Pharaoh's daughter.

Pharaoh's daughter pulled him out of the Nile, took him in, raised him as her own.

He spent 40 years in the knowledge of Egypt, very skilled in all of their science and all of their ways.

He was a builder of cities, very wise, very eloquent, a leader that he discovered.

He was Jewish and banished to the backside of the desert for 40 years and spent 40 years in obscurity and his only audience was a bunch of sheep and he got cut off from human.

You know contact so much that all he could do was stutter and stammer until he met God in the burning bush again.

See, it had already come into his heart and act seven.

Stephen said it came into his heart when he was about 40 years old.

It'll be the deliverer of Egypt.

And as soon as he acted on that, he did it in the flesh.

He killed that Egyptian man and he was banished to the backside of the desert.

He had to run from Pharaoh, had to run from the whole thing 40 years, until God saw him and talked to him and called him to be the deliverer again.

He said well, send somebody else, I can't even talk.

Well, I'll give you your brother Aaron.

He'll talk, he'll be your mouthpiece and you'll be for him as God.

Read it for yourself.

You'll be to him as God and he'll be your mouth.

Well, that didn't last but one time.

After that, aaron was fired, moses remembered how to talk.

After that He'll talk after that.

40 years learning the world's wisdom.

40 years learning utter helplessness on the backside of the desert.

Talk about obscurity, and then 40 years on the glory.

40 years on the glory, and then you got Joshua, his minister.

He spent 40 years serving Moses and at the same time he's serving Moses, he's suffering in the wilderness with Israel.

That's pretty much obscurity.

He's the second banana.

He's not in charge, he just does what he's told.

If Moses needs something, he does it.

Moses needs him to go over there and fight.

He fights.

Moses stands on the hillside and holds out his rod.

That's how it happens around here.

I just hold out my rod and my staff does everything else for his God, and I know that if I ever drop dead, they'll raise me from the dead.

They just stand around in the circle.

So he, 40 years serving Moses, 40 years suffering with Israel, 30 years in the glory of God, being the head of Moses, my servant's dead.

Now therefore, rise, cause this people to occupy their land.

And he did.

I'm talking about restoration Caleb.

Same thing, same idea, 40 years.

He's one of the two witnesses, him and Joshua had the good witness.

And how was he rewarded?

Well, it didn't look like much of a reward.

I mean, he's had to suffer with Israel out there in the 40 years and the wandering in the wilderness with all the disobedient ones, and finally, after that, he spent five years helping them fight.

If you'll go back and look at the story, I mean he spent five years helping them possess theirs and finally, after 45 years, he's 85 years old.

He said to Joshua Joshua, do you suppose it's okay now for me to get down here to my inheritance over there on Hebron I wanna go see.

Instead of looking for a rocking chair, he found a mountain and he possessed that mountain.

He possessed Hebron.

Now the Muslims have it and they're defacing the tomb of Joseph and everything else.

Now it's still still there.

What he won for him and his family and his descendants has been given away by fools, people like Bush.

Are you with me now?

How about Joseph?

He's one of my favorites.

Joseph spent 18 years as a good son, obedient to his parents, thawing on his side to his brothers.

He was hated because he was so good he had the coat of many colors.

They were jealous.

So then, 13 years in prison.

13 years totally innocent, had no reason to go to prison.

But he was thrown there because of a lie.

13 years.

Whatever it was to do in the prison, he was the doer of it.

The Lord was with Joseph, but he didn't deliver him.

He didn't get out of there until when, until the time that his word came, because he had a word too.

But what had to happen?

Well, obscurity.

I've had a word.

I've had this word for a long, long time.

Regional center, long, long time.

Regional center 1996.

You know, it's 26 years ago.

It looked like that was just a crazy figment of my imagination, but I knew better and I never would release it.

I never would stop short.

I never would stop believing.

I never stopped talking about it.

And look where we are today.

Our footprint has grown.

I'm not talking about the numbers in this place.

I'm talking about the influence that we have.

I'm a bronze supporter of Alex Miller.

I gave her $1,000, my second thousand dollars I gave.

I don't mind telling you what I do so, but I supported her in the primary and called her and talked to her, and then I'm gonna be going to a luncheon for her on Tuesday, kicking off her campaign.

We're gonna be praying for her and I believe she's the ideal person to defeat Lena Hidalgo.

We need to get her out.

Her and the mayor are getting together to find out what lawlessness they can propose to get around the Supreme Court on abortion.

There's nothing legal they can do and we're gonna have to put pressure on our governor to do the right thing and our attorney general.

I know it, but my point is after that, being in prison, he came out 14 years as prime minister of Egypt, second only to the Pharaoh, and paved the way for Israel to come out of Canaan land and get in a land where they could multiply, and he was the protector.

God sent him ahead of his family.

It was all very exact, pivotal timing.

That's what I have a sense of right now.

We're in the timing of restoration.

I'm not going by the economy, I'm not going by the inflation rate, I'm not going by all of that stuff.

I'm talking about what God has done and I want us to all hold on together to that.

This is bigger than any individual.

It's bigger than me individually, but yet I can't accomplish anything without you.

So I want to get you your faith built up to realize that this is a pivotal time of harvest.

You know there's no wasted time.

All times of obscurity are important because we learn to trust God when things don't look like what we've been told.

We learn to trust God in spite of the circumstances, in spite of the doctor's report, in spite of the financial report, the check balance, the stock portfolio balance.

We learn to trust God in those times and exercise faith and patience, because that's faith and patience that obtains the promise.

Faith and patience.

God has an appointed time, see, just like the day of Pentecost, that was an appointed time for them to get together and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

He's got appointed times coming up that we're part of, I think, in this church.

One of the worst times that we've ever spent as a church was in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

You talk about obscure, you talk about obscure, but how many of you started coming when we were in the Seventh Day?

I know Nancy did.

There's three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, oh yeah, 10, 11.

See, I mean it's worth it if just the 11.

Me, 12, that's the 12 apostles right there.

Praise God.

I mean, I'm not sure if it's the 12 apostles, but obscure, I mean.

You know.

Nobody knew we were there.

They found us.

I don't know how they found us.

Thank God they found us.

But you know, we trusted God in those years together we prayed in a president, we prayed Gore out and we stopped him.

Gore would have been president except for the Supreme Court.

Are y'all with me now?

Yeah, I heard brother red, brother Hagan, say something in one of his books he said I tend to agree with a preacher that I heard that said it's really instant healings are really of the enemy.

They cause people.

Often, when they get instantly healed through the gifts of the spirit or through some other means, it came cheaply, it came quickly, and then they lose their healing because they don't change their way of acting.

They go back to their dead church, they keep doing the things they did before and often they lose their healing or they get a worse thing after that.

I put it like this they dodge the bullet only to be run over by a train.

That's my way of putting it.

There's no substitute for being disciple, there's no substitute for faith in patients.

And I'm not saying we don't believe in instant miracles, but I'm saying the main thing is faith in patients and heritage of promises.

Amen.

And so now's restoration day.

God has taken over through the church.

Amen.

After that comes, what Resurrection day?

Come on, lift your hands and receive right now Hallelujah.

You know, my job is to get the church ready.

That's the other part of his vision.

Brother Roberts, not only was it about all of that, but God spoke to him.

He says my church is not ready for the second coming.

Well, we're getting ready for the second coming.

Amen, we're fully awake.

Let's not be intimidated by the amount of things that have to change in this country.

We're not responsible for all of that.

We're just responsible for doing what God puts us in, you know, puts in front of us to do.

That's all we're responsible for.

As long as we're glorious way church, we're gonna bind the spirit of Antichrist.
