  1. Reach down and pick up your Bibles.

  2. Please Lift them up, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad, live stream audience.

  3. Get your Bibles out, do the same.

  4. And let's say this together say Heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here today.

  5. I'm excited to hear what the Holy Ghost has in store for me.

  6. I'm here for me today.

  7. I'm listening on my behalf, don't have anybody else in mind.

  8. I'm gonna concentrate on closing the gaps in my faith and in my prayer life.

  9. I wanna graduate to the next level in prayer and in living the Christian life in front of a lost and dying world.

  10. In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

  11. Let's turn in our Bibles, please, john, excuse me.

  12. James, chapter 16.

  13. And it's a familiar verse for us because we've been looking at it for the last number of weeks.

  14. This is my fourth message on prayer.

  15. The first two weeks we talked about prayer, joining forces with God, and now this is the second message on the power of prayer which we'll get out of James, chapter five.

  16. I'll read it first in the King James.

  17. Why do you, pastor, you know there's other versions.

  18. Why do you always insist on the King James?

  19. I don't know.

  20. I got saved under the King James.

  21. I've talked for years and years under the King James and I personally, I like the hither and the thither in the King James English.

  22. Amen, I just do.

  23. I don't know, I'm a little different.

  24. All right, james, chapter five, verse 16.

  25. It says here in the second part of the verse the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man or a righteous person availeth much.

  26. But listen to it in the amplified.

  27. It says the earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous person makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working, dynamic means multifaceted.

  28. Their soul is no end to the ways that the God's power can intervene in the affairs of man.

  29. And so we're talking about the power of prayer and we've talked about the fact that the book of James is an end time book.

  30. He's talking about, in that same chapter, the harvest.

  31. God is very patient for the precious fruit of the earth.

  32. That's how God sees the unsaved.

  33. He loves the unsaved.

  34. And we gotta remind ourselves when we see these people, we wanna gnash on them with our teeth, the way they act, the way they talk, the way they do things.

  35. We've gotta separate what they do from who they are.

  36. And who they are is potential people who are gonna get saved.

  37. Not all of them are gonna get saved, but our job is to put them into a place of where they have to make a decision.

  38. Then we've done our job.

  39. Once we put them in a position to make a decision, then we've done our job.

  40. Our job is not to get people saved.

  41. Our job is to spread the good news.

  42. We preach and he saves.

  43. He does the saving, we do the preaching.

  44. What do you mean?

  45. I'm not a preacher.

  46. Yes, you are.

  47. You can proclaim truth.

  48. I mean, really, when you've received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues, I've seen that Holy Ghost people can preach.

  49. Everybody say I'm a Holy Ghost person.

  50. You might not yet be, but you're gonna be.

  51. Amen, if you stick around here, we're gonna get you filled with a Holy Ghost and you're gonna speak in other tongues.

  52. For you know it.

  53. Well, what's a big deal?

  54. Well, I'm not teaching on that today, but partly the only way to really be effective in prayer is to be able to pray in other tongues, because when we pray in other tongues, we're praying His perfect will.

  55. We go all through the things that we have happened.

  56. When we pray in other tongues, it's a supernatural language with which we have to communicate with God, amen.

  57. So joining forces of God.

  58. We talked about that the first couple of weeks.

  59. We talked about the word fellowship, which is Koinonia, the Greek word Koinonia, which we expounded on that word.

  60. It means communication, partnership, relationship, cpr.

  61. We all need CPR, yeah.

  62. And so it also means distribution and contribution.

  63. It's a give and take.

  64. When you join forces with God in prayer, you give but you also receive, and many times in prayer and praying in tongues especially praying in tongues I'll receive divine utterances.

  65. What does that mean?

  66. Well, this Bible is the divine utterance, the mouth of the Holy Ghost.

  67. That was written down, and so the word was written, so it could be spoken.

  68. It should be spoken in our mouth.

  69. Can't just think the word.

  70. You do need to think the word, but you need to speak the word.

  71. Paul told Timothy.

  72. He said you know, remember the prophecies, that the words of divine utterances that have come before on you, so that by them you might as war a good warfare.

  73. Let me, if we're fighting a war right now.

  74. Now, jesus won it, but we have a contest.

  75. I mean, you ever know there's a contest out there.

  76. We've got to remind the devil he's defeated.

  77. And what does it take.

  78. It takes the word of God in our mouth and you know, when you pray many times God can seed you.

  79. He can give you ammunition.

  80. Bible says that the word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword.

  81. Hebrews, chapter four.

  82. It says in Ephesians, chapter six the word of God is the sword of the spirit.

  83. I'm telling you, sword is Bible days.

  84. You know, today we have AR 15.

  85. It's the same idea.

  86. It's the same idea, and so this word for you is ammunition.

  87. In some cases you've been issued a new weapon, because when you get revelation of what the word says about your situation, I mean it's not only ammunition, sometimes it's a brand new weapon that you need.

  88. What they found out on the battlefield is that you know those old M1s.

  89. They're kind of outdated.

  90. You know they don't keep up.

  91. Man, those modern weapons are amazing.

  92. I mean they have grenades launched.

  93. They have rocket-propel grenades.

  94. Now They've got rifles that shoot around corners.

  95. They've got rifles where you've got an enemy that's behind a masonry wall and they're hiding back there.

  96. There's no way you can hit them.

  97. So what you do, you know you look through the scope and you find out how far that thing is away and you dial that in and you aim to the side of it and it shoots a projectile that explodes right past the wall and kills the enemy behind the wall.

  98. They've had that as long as they rack.

  99. That's not even new.

  100. Listen, we're in a warfare and God has given us the kind, not only the ammunition, but he's given us the weaponry, and it comes through prayer.

  101. I mean, listen, I want to excite in you and inspire in you the idea that your prayers avail much.

  102. Your prayers are very important and God is unwilling to do without your prayers and, frankly, we're not gonna accomplish what God wants us to accomplish if we don't pray.

  103. So he says tremendous power is available and we talked about this last week.

  104. That tells me that a tremendous power vacuum happens when people don't pray.

  105. Talk about a power vacuum.

  106. Just look at your government.

  107. Look at the government, and that's a perfect example of a power vacuum.

  108. The church went to sleep for 50, 60, 70 years, maybe longer.

  109. I think you could make a case, maybe longer.

  110. Oh yeah, there's a few of us praying.

  111. I came across Isaiah the other day and he said you know, god was amazing.

  112. He couldn't find no help, he couldn't find anybody to pray, he could find no intercessor.

  113. He had to do it by himself, so he took on his own.

  114. He's gonna tread the enemy under by himself.

  115. You know what?

  116. That's not right.

  117. We're supposed to be partners with him.

  118. We're supposed to be partners and God and Son's unlimited.

  119. We're around the table.

  120. He's expecting some help from us.

  121. Amen, hallelujah.

  122. So there's a power vacuum.

  123. There's a power vacuum Not just in the White House.

  124. There's a power vacuum in all the letter agencies, the Department of Justice, oh my God.

  125. The State Department has been devoid of Christianity for really a long time.

  126. You've got mostly communists in that thing.

  127. Most of the career diplomats in our nation service are commies.

  128. They don't care about this country.

  129. They live over there.

  130. They feed at that trough.

  131. They don't care about America.

  132. They haven't lived here in decades.

  133. Are y'all with me now?

  134. Y'all are looking at me kind of.

  135. I thought I came to hear some preaching.

  136. You're talking about politics.

  137. It's about time somebody talked about politics from the pulpit and issue a little guidance for you to let you know to wake up and get your weapon loaded up with the latest ammo, the kind that shoots around corners, kills things behind a wall, finds them in the dark.

  138. I mean they launched those cruise missiles from a long way up.

  139. You don't even hear the plane.

  140. And they launched that cruise missile that comes in there and poof no more terrorists, they're dead, they're gone.

  141. In fact, you can't even find them.

  142. They'd vaporize.

  143. Oh, I tell you, we've got the greatest power available to us when we pray.

  144. So what's the next thing?

  145. We need to be available, make ourselves available.

  146. God's not gonna make you do it, god's not.

  147. He's not a puppet master, he's not.

  148. He didn't make a bunch of robots, he made his people with free wills that can either obey or not obey.

  149. So it's up to us, then, to fill the power vacuum.

  150. It doesn't matter how long it's been there, it doesn't matter how bad it looks, I don't go by how bad it looks, I go by.

  151. What did he say to do?

  152. He said to pray.

  153. He said to pray.

  154. And so last week we talked about Luke 18, and Jesus said this about how men ought always to pray and not to faint, not to lose heart, give up, turn.

  155. Coward Smith Wigglesworth said that in his experience, most Christians give up before the answer comes.

  156. Isn't that pitiful.

  157. Here you've been heard, the answer is on the way, and then you just say well, I guess God said no, you dummy.

  158. God didn't say no, the answer's on the way and you are fiddling around.

  159. You forgot to continue.

  160. Not continue asking him for the same thing over and over, but bringing it before him and thanking him, putting him in remembrance.

  161. Look at Isaiah 43.

  162. Real quick, isaiah 43, I meant to share it last week, but it's not too late to share it this week.

  163. Verse 26, put me in remembrance.

  164. See, when we pray, when we ask and keep on asking, see, can keep on seeking, not, can keep on.

  165. Not.

  166. It's not that we keep asking God for the same old thing.

  167. Oh God, give it to me, give it to me, give it to me right now.

  168. Oh God, oh God, oh God.

  169. No, it's put him in remembrance.

  170. God, you know I prayed for Sally.

  171. I prayed that prayer in Ephesians, chapter one and two, for her, and I know you answered that prayer.

  172. I know that you're opening up to her eyes of understanding.

  173. She's gonna be flooded with light.

  174. She's gonna know things she's never known about you.

  175. You're revealing yourself fresh in there.

  176. Thank you, lord.

  177. See, that's see.

  178. You already prayed and you're not praying the same thing, but now you're going over the same ground and you're thanking him for what you already prayed.

  179. Put me in remembrance.

  180. Did God forget?

  181. No, but he wants to know that you didn't.

  182. Let us plead together.

  183. Plead is not beg.

  184. The word plead does not mean beg.

  185. Plead is a legal term.

  186. When you go before the court, you enter in a plea.

  187. Many pleas are founded upon.

  188. You know, previous cases precedent.

  189. They had no precedent for abortion.

  190. It was the worst.

  191. It was the worst judgment those nine bags of baloney up there ever gave.

  192. See, the church has been vacant.

  193. Power vacuum existed.

  194. We have not prayed like we should for our nation and we had lousy presidents for decades, crummy ones, lousy ones and they appointed these dead people that found rights that aren't in the Constitution.

  195. They just made it up because it was a political thing.

  196. The left wing wanted, they want, to be able to kill babies and control the population.

  197. And, by the way, the black population is the one that's been hurt the worst.

  198. You know, if black babies were born instead of being aborted, I mean it would completely change the political climate of our nation.

  199. See, it was all on purpose.

  200. Folks, every bit of this is a plot.

  201. You mean?

  202. You're a conspirator?

  203. Yes, let's quit being stupid.

  204. Oh, don't say that.

  205. My child is in here, I know, I know I like the word.

  206. I'm sorry, stupid, it's not a cuss word.

  207. I know all the cuss words.

  208. It's not a cuss word.

  209. Let us plead together.

  210. Declare thou that thou mayest be justified.

  211. Woo, glory to God.

  212. So then, jesus, when we talked about this in Luke 18, one, he said he gave him this parable.

  213. So for this intent that men ought always to pray and not to faint, not to give up, not to lose heart, not to turn coward, there's a lot of people in the church that have turned coward and given up on the nation of America, given up on the church's ability to change some things.

  214. Am I saying we're gonna reform America?

  215. It's gonna be just peachy, keen, rosy, wonderful.

  216. No, I'm just saying we're gonna get a harvest out of it.

  217. That's what I'm saying.

  218. But we can't get a harvest out of it if we're gonna let the Antichrist spirit run amuck.

  219. We have to influence every area of society.

  220. We have to go into all the world, not just next door, not just in our family, not just me, my four and no more.

  221. My little kids, my kids and grandkids.

  222. All those are important.

  223. But look, we need to go into the political world and get them, you know, and preach the gospel there and put them on notice that we're still believed.

  224. The word of, whether you don't or not, here's the word to make a decision.

  225. When they make a decision against it, then boom, that's it.

  226. We have no more obligation for them.

  227. They had their chance.

  228. That's all God's looking for is for the church to do its job, and we haven't done it.

  229. We've left a power vacuum.

  230. So he gave this parable about the widow who went to the unjust judge, who feared not man or feared not God, nor regarded man.

  231. He didn't care about anybody but himself and his comfort.

  232. And she said avenge me of my adversaries.

  233. And he would not for a while.

  234. But then he said what about this woman?

  235. I better give her what she wants.

  236. She's troubling me.

  237. The word trouble means she beat up on him Lest by her continual coming she troubled with me.

  238. She'd only come one time.

  239. She must have had some way of carrying herself.

  240. She must have had some way of speaking to let him know I'm here to get my adversary.

  241. I want to have my adversary avenged.

  242. I want you to avenge me of my adversary.

  243. He would not for a while.

  244. But then he reconsidered and says you know she's gonna come again and come, again and come.

  245. She'd only come once, but he knew from talking to her one time what was gonna happen to him if he didn't give her what she wanted.

  246. She's not gonna go away.

  247. We're not gonna go away, democrats, we're not gonna go away from the school board.

  248. You elected to the school board and you let this trash in our schools.

  249. We're not gonna let you get by with it.

  250. We're gonna run against you the very next time.

  251. We're gonna grife at you every time we have a chance.

  252. Amen, amen.

  253. We're not gonna let you, senator, congressman, amen, get away with this.

  254. Amen, Give on our money to people who didn't work that hard for a college degree.

  255. So I mean, I don't care if they get 10th.

  256. I mean, you know, that's so ridiculous.

  257. Think about all the people that worked and worked and paid their college loans off and all of a sudden, mr Biden's gonna wave his magic.

  258. It's unconstitutional what he's doing.

  259. It's not even legal for him to do it.

  260. He's stealing your money and mine is what he's doing.

  261. Of course, you just add that to the list of theft.

  262. It's not about money.

  263. Well, it is about money.

  264. It's about right and wrong.

  265. Avenge me.

  266. What do you think avenge means?

  267. It means revenge.

  268. It means punish your enemy.

  269. We kind of lost that in the church.

  270. We think God's so nice all the time and that he just wants to just slobber on every person that's getting away with murder.

  271. No, he wants them put on notice and if they don't repent, then they are gonna be punished in this life or the next.

  272. Sometimes they're punished in this life and our job is to pray that.

  273. Jesus said listen to what the unjust judge says, and how shall not God avenge his very elect?

  274. Though they cry, though he bear along with them, because they cry night and day unto him, I tell you he will avenge them speedily.

  275. Avenge means take revenge for them, punish their adversaries.

  276. Are you with me now?

  277. You're getting kind of the good.

  278. We haven't prayed right.

  279. The churches prayed a bunch of religious claptrap that they learned from people who don't know how to pray.

  280. They don't teach you how to pray in cemetery, seminary, whatever.

  281. They don't teach you to pray.

  282. I learned how to pray by hanging around people that knew how to pray and I learned a few things.

  283. I got some things imparted to me.

  284. I got some things released over me.

  285. Remember that cornea?

  286. Remember we have cornea, not only with God, but with each other and with our pastor and his representatives.

  287. Are you with me now?

  288. Oh, I tell you, it matters where you go to church, because you're gonna pick up things that you really need here.

  289. I mean, you might pick up things you wish you didn't have someplace else.

  290. Are y'all with me now?

  291. I'm talking about the power of prayer in the prayer vacuum that happens when people don't pray, and that much of prayer is bringing a legal case to the Father.

  292. He is the judge Now.

  293. We've gone decades now talking about how God is a good God and we needed that message.

  294. Oral Roberts was one of the first ones to preach it, and people need to know how wonderful God is and how he loves you and how he heals you and how he delivers you.

  295. But now we're in the place where they need to become acquainted with God the judge, because judgment of the nations has started happening right now and the church is still praying all this blessing on everybody.

  296. Well, I don't pray a blessing over Biden.

  297. Most of my prayers are praying against him.

  298. I cry against what he's doing.

  299. I don't agree.

  300. I don't think there's one single thing he's done.

  301. I can't think of a thing.

  302. Maybe you can think of something, but I can't think right off hand.

  303. I can't think of a single thing he's done since he took over.

  304. I didn't say elected, just say he took over.

  305. All I can dare say online.

  306. I can't think of a saying he's done that's been positive.

  307. I listen, I cry.

  308. A lot of prayer is praying for to be avenged.

  309. Y'all are looking at me real straight now.

  310. You're kinda whoa.

  311. What do I know about this?

  312. Don't these people need to be punished?

  313. They go into Melania's closet and go through her.

  314. They went through Barron's room, a teenage boy looking for documents.

  315. Huh, they're out of control and all the letter agencies are out of control.

  316. What do you propose?

  317. Well, I just propose we've got to start where we start, got to start at the top.

  318. We've got to start.

  319. Also, we've got to start down here.

  320. We've got to start at the Harris County.

  321. You know County Judge right now.

  322. We need to get rid of her.

  323. We've got to start cleaning up our local areas.

  324. We're leaving Harris County, going to Montgomery County, brasovia County, even Galveston County.

  325. Galveston County Whoever heard of Galveston County being conservative?

  326. All of us, you know.

  327. Compared to Harris County, galveston County is now conservative.

  328. People are moving there.

  329. They're getting out of Houston.

  330. Years ago I was reading the book of Jonah, and just my normal reading.

  331. God said, jonah, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it, for its wickedness is great.

  332. And it's come up before me and I was reading that that great city, you know?

  333. And right in the middle of that sentence I wasn't even finished reading the verse, go to Nineveh, that great city.

  334. And just right in right there the Holy Ghost interrupted and says Houston's a great city.

  335. And I wept.

  336. God put something in my heart.

  337. Even though I was born here, I've always been fond of Houston.

  338. I worked here as a teenager during the summer.

  339. I didn't live here from the fourth grade through the 12th grade, but I moved here after during college years when I'd go to A&M and all that and spent a lot of time here.

  340. I had family to live here all my life.

  341. But when God spoke that to me, he put a supernatural love in me for the city, no matter whether I was coming back from India or coming back from the Philippines or coming back from Canada or coming back from anywhere I'd traveled.

  342. I mean coming back into town, I mean I'd just tear up every time we'd fly over Houston.

  343. I'd see the skyline I'd just bark tears running down my face.

  344. He gave me a divine utterance for Houston and he said Houston is a safe and prosperous city and God protects her from all her enemies.

  345. I got that in prayer.

  346. God said say that.

  347. So we enforce another divine utterance that God gave me.

  348. As regional center 1996, I'm out looking for property and God just said, you know, she had this vision of a circle with a star and I thought about Marshall Billen, I, what in the world am I seeing?

  349. And it came in lit on the property.

  350. I was looking at five acres.

  351. I had five acre faith.

  352. I said what am I seeing?

  353. Then I zoomed out away from it, way up in the sky, until it became like a little mark on a map.

  354. It looked like a capital mark that you'd mark a capital with on a map.

  355. And I said what are you saying that you're making us a capital?

  356. What does this mean?

  357. He said regional center.

  358. I'd never heard the term, but from what the vision was and that marking like a capital, I realized what is in a capital?

  359. Well, that's your government of a state, government of the country, and it's got executive, legislative and judicial power.

  360. That's your government in America.

  361. Those three quote, co equal.

  362. By the way, the executive branch is not under the heel of the legislative branch, it's not under the heel of the Supreme Court.

  363. Supreme Court just means that supreme is a court.

  364. It doesn't mean supreme over the other two branches.

  365. They are co equal.

  366. But they haven't been co equal, have they?

  367. No, they've been invaded and weaponized against the population, and as have all the letter agencies, though he said, you know, go and cry against it.

  368. A lot of our pray in his crying against the fear of the Lord, is to hate evil, pride and arrogance in every evil way.

  369. It's not to not to reach across the aisle and try to compromise with the devil.

  370. And that's who I want to elect to Congress.

  371. I want to get people that will not compromise with the devil and do what they're elected to do, which none of these people, hardly any of them.

  372. I shouldn't say none, but hardly any.

  373. Mitch McConnell, I mean, what a disgrace.

  374. A disgrace, and I could just I could go down the list, but I don't.

  375. You know, look, we have something to say about it.

  376. That's my point.

  377. Our prayers, what avail much.

  378. They bring much power to bear, dynamic in his work, and it can go over here to the letter agency.

  379. It can go over here.

  380. I mean, let me tell you something there's a lot of praying left to do between now and the time Jesus comes.

  381. So let me get back to Luke 18.

  382. In fact, it'd be good for us to look there real quick, because I got something I want to make a point to.

  383. Jesus said men ought to always pray and not to give up, not to lose heart, not to lose courage.

  384. I'm here to put steel in your backbone.

  385. I'm here to give you a fresh vision of how important your prayer is, whether you pray on your own, for your family and your, your needs, or whether you pray and concert with the church.

  386. We're going to have power hour plus, which is a prayer meeting on a Sunday night.

  387. We're going to have at least three of those between now and the time of the election, early November, and we're going to make some headway, and that'll be Sunday nights.

  388. We'll let you know what the dates are so you can be sure and be here.

  389. But he said shall not verse seven, shall not God avenge his own elect, which cried day and night unto him, though he bear along with him?

  390. I tell you that he will avenge them.

  391. Punish their enemies, get revenge, restitution.

  392. See, all of those meant.

  393. That's what it means, folks.

  394. Jesus said it, I didn't say it must be kind of, and he said it in relation to prayer.

  395. The church has not prayed right.

  396. We're out there praying, second chronicles, seven, 14,.

  397. He's high people and called by my name, humble themselves in prayer, then you will come and heal our dead.

  398. No, he won't.

  399. He's already done it.

  400. He already sent Jesus.

  401. We are his change agents.

  402. If we don't do anything, he doesn't do anything.

  403. Remember, it's coinonia, it's partnership relationship, it's give and take, it's distribution and contribution.

  404. If we don't do our part, he won't do his.

  405. And the people that are praying that way are praying.

  406. They might as well just say twinkle, twinkle, little star and twiddle their thumbs.

  407. Twiddle ed, twiddle edum.

  408. They might as well.

  409. They're not getting anything done.

  410. They're not praying the way Jesus said to pray.

  411. Are you with me now?

  412. I tell you that he will have venged them speedily.

  413. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, will he find faith on the earth?

  414. No-transcript which tells me that when you pray, that's goody, two shoes prayer.

  415. Leave it all up to God.

  416. God's gonna do it.

  417. No, he's done.

  418. The church is gonna do it.

  419. If it's done, the church will do it.

  420. Where do you think God lives anyway?

  421. He lives in the church, stupid.

  422. Everybody wants him to come down from heaven.

  423. He's not coming back until he comes for the church, and that's for that purpose he's not coming, and then, seven years later, he's gonna come and he will destroy the antichrist.

  424. He'll destroy him and we'll be there.

  425. I'll be smiling.

  426. Are you with me now?

  427. Will he find faith on the earth?

  428. See, faith knows how to pray Faith.

  429. So I'm preaching this to perfect that which is lacking.

  430. I want to close the gaps.

  431. I want to influence you to where you know how important it is for you to pray and start doing it.

  432. That means do whatever it takes to rearrange your schedule so that you have time to pray every day, not just once a week or once a month or whenever there's a whole bunch of pressure.

  433. You know, isn't it amazing that when we get under a lot of pressure I mean we got a bad doctor's report, or maybe the IRS has written us a nasty letter or something like that man, we're big on praying then, but what about every day?

  434. See, let's fill the power vacuum with God's power.

  435. Let's listen as we pray and find out what divine utterances are going to come our way.

  436. What ammunition are we going to have to fight the battles that he calls us to get involved with?

  437. Amen, we all have our battles.

  438. We all have things that we need to undertake to pray over.

  439. And then there's that joining together in corporate prayer that is so powerful, that is so needed.

  440. Are y'all getting anything out of this this morning?

  441. Will he find faith on the earth?

  442. Jesus asked the question, so it's kind of an open question and it bothers me.

  443. It's always bothered me to read that.

  444. It's always bothered me because I thought what if he doesn't?

  445. What if the church is so devoid like Israel?

  446. Let's face it, israel had it made in the shade.

  447. They were the only nation out of 70 that had a covenant with Almighty God.

  448. They were blessed beyond measure.

  449. They had a land that was full of olive oil and honey and it just, it just man.

  450. It was wonderful, it was a blessing, and they threw it away.

  451. They couldn't serve God.

  452. They just couldn't do what he said to do.

  453. You know, they just we want a king.

  454. Well, they finally said it's not good that you want a king.

  455. I don't think you ought to want a king.

  456. We want to be just like everybody else.

  457. See, that's what and that's what's in the church.

  458. Church wants to be like everybody else.

  459. We can't be like everybody else.

  460. We got to be salt and light, or we're going to, or.

  461. Where's the faith then?

  462. God?

  463. God's looking for the faith on the earth, in the church, and where is it?

  464. I think about these divine utterances that God has given us.

  465. I remember one time, just about this time three years ago, on a Wednesday night, god came in this church, like a, or went Sunday night, I guess it was.

  466. I mean, it was so heavy in here and I began to prophesy and basically he said this is going to be your great.

  467. 2020 is going to be the greatest year yet.

  468. Well, what 2020?

  469. God, that's the year of COVID.

  470. That's when everything shut down, that's when everything kind of fell apart, you know, but for us, it was the greatest year yet because God said I'm going to give you my perspective, I'm going to give you my power and I'm going to give you my prominence.

  471. I mean, we, our footprint grew, our influence grew.

  472. People never heard of us.

  473. All of a sudden, they heard of us.

  474. Government leaders all over this nation's heard a glorious way church.

  475. How could that be?

  476. We're not a mega church.

  477. We're not.

  478. We don't have tens of thousands of people coming.

  479. You know God's got a way of doing things when you pray.

  480. I don't know about you, but I'm still believing.

  481. This is about greatest year, yet Say it doesn't just end in 2020.

  482. It keeps going.

  483. I said it keeps going.

  484. Maybe you need to change what you're saying about 2022.

  485. You've got three months.

  486. You know God can do a lot in three months.

  487. Yeah, so consistency, inconsistency lies the power.

  488. So let me just wrap it up here of this part of the message.

  489. Number one tremendous power is available to those who pray.

  490. So make yourself available.

  491. Make yourself available.

  492. You won't do it for you.

  493. You have to do it.

  494. You have to change your schedule.

  495. You have to change.

  496. It doesn't matter whether you pray in the morning or evening.

  497. Maybe you're a night person.

  498. Brother Hagin was a night person.

  499. He did all his praying at night.

  500. I know, preachers, that I'm more of a morning person.

  501. I like it better when I can pray in the morning.

  502. But whatever you are, make yourself available.

  503. Number two anytime God wants to change somebody, he touches their mouth.

  504. He touched Jeremiah's mouth.

  505. He said I'm gonna touch your mouth and you're gonna destroy, you're gonna root out, you're gonna burn up and then you're gonna build and plant.

  506. See, a lot of prayer is speaking these things and a lot of it's destroying things.

  507. The church, by and large, hasn't prayed correctly.

  508. We haven't destroyed anything.

  509. We just let it keep going, keep growing until we come to 2022 and we have a mess.

  510. We were energy independent three years ago and now we're begging everybody to please make some more oil.

  511. You're stupid, crazy.

  512. And then, finally, don't be overwhelmed at what to pray for.

  513. I find that people, when they start committing to pray, they don't know where to start.

  514. Where do I start?

  515. My family's a mess.

  516. My parents or my aunts and uncles, my cousins, my siblings, my kids.

  517. A lot of times, people have so many problems that when they start down the list of all that prayer and they've already spent an hour and they've run out of time and they hadn't even covered all the problems.

  518. That's not what prayer is.

  519. Just hang out with God.

  520. Start out by just hanging out with God and magnifying Him a while Praising.

  521. That's prayer.

  522. We had the idea that we gotta ask God all these things, we gotta have a laundry list of requests and all that kind of thing.

  523. Well, just start out.

  524. If you're starting out to pray and you really haven't done a lot of praying, I mean you pray kind of fits and starts Well, look, when you get started, just start out by praising Him.

  525. I had a little Omnicord.

  526. You know what an Omnicord is.

  527. People that came in the first building they know what an Omnicord is because I used to play it for the service.

  528. We didn't have any musicians at the time, had no piano player and had no, so I had a you know, it's an electronic auto harp, is what it is and it didn't sound that bad, plugged in through the sound system and but I would spend hours when I first started praying, that's how I did.

  529. I just got on there and I would sing my little choruses to Him, I'd worship Him and I'd pray in tongues and I didn't know all about what to pray for.

  530. So I just prayed in tongues and he took my prayers and made them go wherever they needed to go.

  531. See, you don't even have to know all the things in your head.

  532. You don't need to know everything you're praying about.

  533. That's the value of being baptized in the Holy Ghost.

  534. I would just spend time worship Him here and then I just pray and Holy Ghost, I'd get out in the backyard, walk up and down praying in the Holy Ghost.

  535. Next thing, you know, I'd have a divine utterance, a word of prophecy would come.

  536. I'd prophesy and edify, exhort and comfort myself and then sometimes I would know, hey, that's for the church.

  537. That's what happened the first time I ever prophesied at Lakewood on a Sunday night, 3,000 people there.

  538. You talk about nervous, you talk about somebody that was just oh, I was wishing and hoping somebody else would be used, but no, god had a word for this congregation.

  539. I'd already had kind of a taste of it in my prayer life and I stood up and gave it.

  540. You know my knees knocking and everything else.

  541. And then that couple of times after that I didn't even I had it in the moment, I didn't have it ahead of time.

  542. God gave me a phrase or two and that's all I had.

  543. And I had to learn to stand up and obey God and just speak what little I had.

  544. And then he would add to it and it was.

  545. It's nerve wracking In the natural side.

  546. It's nerve wracking, you know.

  547. It's fear.

  548. Most people, one of the most stressful things is to speak in public.

  549. But when the Holy Ghost comes on you, you see, you lose a lot of that fear.

  550. Just obey God.

  551. Everybody say divine utterance.

  552. So you get that in prayer and the Holy Ghost will help you.

  553. So don't be overwhelmed at what to pray for.

  554. Just start where you are and God will direct your prayer life as time goes on and God will speak back to you.

  555. It's amazing how you read.

  556. Then you start reading your Bible after you prayed and it's amazing, the Bible will speak back to.

  557. This is hold your Bible up like this.

  558. Everybody say this is Jesus talking to me, this is Jesus talking to you.

  559. See, that's exactly what it is, this Jesus talking to you.

  560. That's what he uses.

  561. Glory to God.

  562. So first Timothy, chapter two let's turn there real quick.

  563. I'm gonna wrap this up.

  564. First, timothy God spoke to me about this being a regional center.

  565. I knew that it had to do with government authority, governmental authority.

  566. I didn't have any teaching on that.

  567. Brother Oste never addressed it.

  568. Most of the prayer meetings that we had were small.

  569. They were not corporate like huge.

  570. There I had to learn among a few that were there that knew how to pray and how to reach God, and the God had to teach me on the fly.

  571. First Timothy, chapter two, verse one.

  572. I exhort, therefore, brethren, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, for all that are in authority or in imminent place.

  573. My margin says that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty.

  574. So it's easier to get people saved when you have peace in the government.

  575. I've heard people say for years oh, it's better when the church is under persecution.

  576. The persecuted church is much more effective.

  577. That's just a bunch of baloney.

  578. That's religious thinking.

  579. That's not true.

  580. It's always better for the government to leave you alone, to quit interfering with you, and the government to leave you alone to quit interfering with you.

  581. And this tells me that we have a place to go to where we can pray for leaders.

  582. Now we don't have kings.

  583. They act like they're kings, they rule like they're king, but they're not kings, they're despots and we have no obligation to pray for them.

  584. We have really, I've pointed out, I believe we have an obligation to cry against them.

  585. I remember when Obama was first elected, rush Limbaugh came on the radio.

  586. I was listening to that day.

  587. I think Rush Limbaugh was a prophet to America.

  588. I listened to him for 30 years and I know he wasn't a real zealous Christian, I know he wasn't a churchgoer and all that, but he knew the Lord and he had a worldview that was Christian, pro-life, and all the Republicans tried to get him to stop being so pro-life.

  589. Rush, we gotta get leave these social issues along.

  590. They're killing us.

  591. They're killing us, rush, no way.

  592. See, he exposed the rhinos, the establishment.

  593. He exposed the ones that are up there for their own reasons, their own wealth, and the social issues.

  594. Gotta get rid of those, rush.

  595. You can't be speaking out against gays and all that.

  596. You can't be speaking out against all this alternative lifestyle.

  597. We gotta get rid of this abortion talk.

  598. Just leave it alone.

  599. And he wouldn't.

  600. But when Obama was elected he said I hope he fails.

  601. You talk about a hue and cry across this country that Rush Limbaugh's racist.

  602. He's a racist.

  603. He wasn't racist.

  604. He hoped he failed because he knew what he was gonna do.

  605. He knew, he knew what he was gonna do.

  606. He warned everybody and the Republicans yeah, we didn't have, we had John McCain.

  607. I mean, what are you gonna do with a candidate like McCain?

  608. What a worthless.

  609. Just another rhino We've had a list of?

  610. I mean the Republican party, I mean, you know, I have as much to say about them as I do the other sometimes.

  611. Well, who can change it?

  612. We can change it.

  613. I said we can change it.

  614. So we pray over our government and people that are in imminent place Well, that would include your pastor.

  615. Have you ever watched the Patriot Revolutionary War, the Revolutionary War, mel Gibson's movie?

  616. It's 20-something years old, but remember the one where the British soldier killed his little boy, shot him in cold blood right there on his front porch?

  617. And so you know, mel Gibson had a history of being a violent person.

  618. He slaughtered a bunch of French and in the French and Indian war he had a reputation of being horrible and he was trying to.

  619. His wife, you know, had died.

  620. He was trying to be nice he's trying to be, you know but it got all over him.

  621. His son is laying there dead, 13, 14 years old.

  622. And so he got his two younger boys.

  623. He said okay, boys, come on.

  624. And they divvied up their muskets and they run out to the group that just did the murder and they catch up with them in the woods and he plants his boys up in the trees.

  625. He said now.

  626. Y'all stay up there until you hear me.

  627. And he said as soon as you see the officer on the horse, you shoot.

  628. Aim small, miss small, aim small, miss small.

  629. You shouldn't.

  630. He's got this kid's 11 years old.

  631. You're gonna shoot the officer off the horse, which he did.

  632. He shot the officer off the horse and as soon as he did, all this had started to go on and Mel Gibson gets out there and he slaughters a bunch of them with an axe and everything else and of course the boys are mortified because they didn't realize their father was so violent.

  633. He's been such a peace loving, you know, peace nick all their lives and all of a sudden he's gone crazy.

  634. But the principle was kill the officers first.

  635. That's what the colonists did, the Continental Army, they didn't believe in fighting like gentlemen.

  636. They hid behind the tree and shot the officers first and the British were so offended.

  637. You don't fight like gentlemen, like war's gentlemanly or something, but see, the devil shoots the officers first.

  638. He's after the armory, he's after the place where the armor is, where the ammunition is handed out, where the weapons are distributed.

  639. That's right here.

  640. So if you wanna pray for something, you can pray for me and you pray for my family, my wife.

  641. Amen, because let me tell you something, this is where the buck stops, and so that's a good place to start.

  642. If you don't know yet how to cry against evil, we'll pray for something good.

  643. Pray for me that I have utterance.

  644. Pray for open doors.

  645. Pray for my health.

  646. Thank God for my health.

  647. Amen.

  648. I you know, paul asked for prayer.

  649. I asked for prayer.

  650. I'm not so proud that I don't think I can use your support.

  651. So that's first of all.

  652. That's top of the list.

  653. Then you go down and then you can pray for your family and your needs and stuff.

  654. You know, god will show you how to pray if you'll just start.

  655. How many of you are willing to start praying on a more regular basis than you have been?

  656. See, that's my point is to kind of get you stirred up and realize how important this is.

  657. This is not you know, what was the fried green tomatoes?

  658. Where the girl says, oh, my mother was dying of cancer and she was begging me to kill her because she was in such pain and she said all I could do is pray.

  659. Well, if I come against that ex-husband, he comes to try to get my child.

  660. I'm gonna do more than just pray.

  661. Well, you know, that was just ignorance on her part.

  662. She only knew she could pray.

  663. You knew how to pray, make a difference in her mother and make a difference in this ex-husband and make a difference in everything.

  664. That's how a lot of people think praying is like well, that's what I do, when everything else no, it's what you do.

  665. First, I wanna give you a revelation of how powerful your praying is, how important your prayer life is.

  666. Amen, come on, let's lift our hands and receive today.

  667. Praise God.

  668. Thank you, lord, for the privilege of joining forces with you.

  669. Thank you that you trust us with no less than resurrection power.

  670. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is available for us to release over every subject that you distribute to us.

  671. For rabata sete velechirinata, so preve telechea.

  672. For today, saith the Lord, I'm making distributions among you.

  673. I'm giving you fresh assignments, saith the Lord, for you're all in my army and you've all reported for duty.

  674. So know that I, as I speak to you, as you seek me in prayer with all of your heart, I will hear an answer and I will bring fresh revelation in those things that you've been praying a long time about.

  675. But I will add to you new things.

  676. I will give you fresh assignments that you will be able to undertake and you will see my glory.

  677. You will see my power.

  678. Release saith the Lord and you will give me glory.

  679. Hallelujah, come on, lift your hands and receive Hallelujah.

  680. Everybody say.

  681. I believe I receive Fresh orders from heaven.

  682. Amen.

  683. Did you get anything out of this today?

  684. No-transcript.
