Livin' On Love

Heavenly Father, we just thank you for this live stream broadcast.

We just thank you for its influence and how we've grown and influence and how this broadcast goes all over the world and we have so many people watching.

Even later on, they go back and watch and so, father, this is important to you, and so we check in with everything that we have and everything that we are.

Holy Spirit, have your way during this broadcast.

Lord, we believe in supernatural hearing and so, father, we just open our spiritual ears.

Thank you, lord, for giving Selena and I both utterance.

Lord, to preach exactly what you need to say tonight that we yield our members over to you so that you can use us to teach what you need us to teach and so that the people can receive what we need to receive in order to go to the next level in you.

In Jesus' name, amen, amen.

So I just wanted to preach a message.

We wanted to preach a message entitled Living on Love, and no, alan Jackson is not going to come up and start singing.

Justin is back there shaking his head.

Yeah.

So I asked Jay today.

I was like you want to get.

So I was at the office, I was working, doing some other things and knowing that we were going to be on live stream, and I was like what's the title of the message?

And so he, and then he texted me.

I was like even you got me singing that song now.

I was like no, let me get back to the word.

Well, that happens to be one of your pastor's favorite songs, but we won't talk about 90s country music.

But Alan Jackson has a handful of good songs and he sings some really good hymns as well.

But really we're to be rooted and grounded in love.

That's part of our Ephesians 3 prayer.

Right Is to be rooted and grounded in love, and it's not human love or just affection, it is agape God's kind of love.

And it's not necessarily a real popular subject Not a whole lot of people enjoy preaching on it.

But you need to stir yourself up to love, amen.

And so we just thought we'd kind of define what love is and just kind of get into it a little bit.

But it helps you in every area, not just your marriage, not just with your kids, not just with your relationships, but in all areas.

Walking in love is what we need to do.

We need to demonstrate everywhere we go.

You know dad was just preaching a message, part two of prayer, joining forces with God this past Sunday, and it was so powerful.

All one hour and 10 minutes of it was powerful, seriously, really he's preached really good, but that was might have been in the top five of his best messages because it was just so anointed and so on, and he had so many zingers and really you know lots of good clips to pull out of that as well.

But you know he was really talking about us being God's hands and feet.

You know Jesus has done it, jesus has been to the cross and rose from the dead, and you know so when God sees us, he sees us through the blood and we are redeemed and we are his force on this earth to get God's will done and get God's will accomplished.

And so, again, we pray, we believe God, but we also do, we put our faith and our love into action, and so love is a very basic part of what people see.

You know, sometimes the only God people will ever get to know is the God inside of you.

And so I just I'm going to flip my notes over and go to my last point and start with it first.

I just feel the Holy Spirit leading me and this direction.

I was going to tell a story that happened a couple years, maybe within a year or two, of opening this building, so maybe like 2005, 2006 or something.

But somewhere in there we had a lightning storm come through and lightning struck the furthest.

I'm pointing to it.

I don't know why I do that, but that's the pilot in me, right, I always point in the direction.

But we had one of our light poles in the parking lot, the furthest one away from the building, all the way in the corner by our front entrance you know well, over a hundred yards from where I'm at now.

But it got struck by lightning and in that moment electricity was put all through this building and it was during it was like it was like during a service, so it caused one of the lamps to explode in another parking lot light and the lens that hold that was that was under those lamps fell and fell down on top of one of our members Lexus and just did a whole bunch of damage.

And so we got to turn in an insurance claim on that and thank God they were understanding and insurance was able to fix their vehicle and thank God nobody was hurt.

That could have killed somebody or come down on top of somebody.

But for years we had major electrical issues because of that lightning storm.

A year or two later we had an amplifier one of our sound amplifiers in our sound room over here.

It caught on fire.

It was a big electrical problem and electrical fire.

And later on Bob Pemberton took that amp apart and just realized that there was no reason for the fire to stop.

It just snuffed itself out.

It burned a bunch of plastic, made a bunch of smoke was a real problem, but it was the only amplifier to catch on fire.

The rest of the room was fine and I really it had to do with the year two before that of that electrical storm surging through those electronics.

I think it got our fire alarm system that took.

You know it wasn't just a quick fix, like we had issues after issues after issues and come to find out what we found out was the I won't call them names but the first electrical company that installed it didn't put in a grounding rod at each light pole, which is what they were supposed to do.

So now we have grounding rods next to every single light pole.

So if that were to happen again, all the power from that, all the electricity from that lightning strike would go right into the ground and the ground can handle that, and so the electrical charges wouldn't come through the rest of those lines looping, looping all the way through all of the whole electrical system of the church.

Those, those idiots just missed the missed a really important step.

You know, the main electrician died shortly after our project and there was a whole lot of drinking going on and so anyways, so we have new electricians.

When we built our new building, everything got fixed and they're geniuses and they're amazing.

But you know, getting back to being rooted and grounded in love, let me just read that right out of the Ephesians three prayer and relate that back to being grounded.

So it says may you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, verse 18.

So Ephesians three, 18, I happen to be reading out of the amplified Lee that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp, with all the saints, god's devoted people, the experience of that love.

What is the breadth, the length and the height and the depth of it?

And so you know, this is Ephesians three prayer.

We pray all the time, we're very familiar with it.

But we need to be rooted deep in love and grounded or founded securely on love.

The grounded, so rooted, means that all of our nutrients are coming up and we're growing up into God's love, and so it's the basis of everything that we do.

And so, being grounded in his love.

That means that his love is our foundation.

It's what we're built upon.

So when the storms of life blow and when lightning strikes, you know if I'm going through something and lightning, you know I'm talking about a storm now, spiritually, or whatever.

If I was to experience something that, if it struck me, it can go right into God's love and not have to affect all those around me, I don't have to complain about it, I don't have to moan about it and give the devil all this credit all the time.

And, oh, woe is me.

Look what happened to me again.

And no, it gets grounded right to the foundation of God's love and I can walk in love.

I can make a choice right then, right there, to walk in God's love, and so that's what we're called to do, and so we don't have to allow it to affect everything that we do.

From that moment on, you know, go around with a victim mentality.

Oh, look how I was burned by so and so.

And you know, even the other day I began to.

I got frustrated with somebody and I began to account for all of the wrongs that they had ever done to me, and I got pretty far.

I was no.

Normally I catch myself for, like the number two or number three, but it was well, it might have been.

No, I'm just kidding, but you know I got down to, like you know, 10 or 12 or 13 before.

Yeah, don't forget your microphone.

Anyways, no, Sure that wasn't me.

But, but you know, before I stopped myself and said you know, lord forgive me, I choose love, I choose your love, and and that's what we're rooted and grounded in we're.

We are founded, our foundation is built on God's love and that we can comprehend and understand just how deep and how wide and how long and how high God's love is.

And so if, if we can understand that, we can walk in that, and when we have a revelation of that love, that it comes out in in in our attitude and how we treat people and how we think about people.

You know I said that earlier, but you know, because of what Jesus did, when God sees you, god sees you perfect.

You know I might not be a perfect person, we might not have the perfect marriage.

You know we're sitting here tonight.

We're talking about love, we're gonna talk about some marital things.

I'm sure Work that in there, just cause that's naturally what happens.

But through the blood God sees me perfect.

Through the blood God sees Selena perfect.

And so if I look at my wife and if I just learn to look at her through the same blood of Jesus that God sees, then I know that she's perfect and then I don't have to sing.

You know country songs about, you're close enough to perfect for me, so I work in all of our country song, justin, tonight.

Anyways, I'm just playing around, but you know.

So if you continue to read, read the rest of Ephesians three, and we know that God is love, right, it tells us that in 1 John that God is love, and so if we know that God is love, you can get to verses like verse 20,.

Let's see Now to love who, by the action or the power that is at work within us, is able to do super abundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think.

It's beyond our highest prayers, dreams, desires.

So that comes out of God being love right, and we're giving God glory out of God's love, right.

And so that would have helped to not have that in the amplified right there.

But anyways, you get my point and so I just I kind of wanted to flip back and just dig in and if anytime that you want to interrupt me, feel free to.

So that's really good, jay.

And if you read most of Paul's letters, or all of Paul's letters, there's themes throughout his letters Faith in Jesus and love for each other you can't go without flipping through all his letters and read about the love of God and how we're supposed to treat each other.

That's right, and so when we mentioned love, a lot of times like you as Christians that are watching believers we know that we're talking about divine love.

So there's two kinds of loves.

There's human love and then there's divine love and human love, and I think a lot of Christians just really just walk out of human love, because human love is I'll love you if you love me back.

I'll be nice to you if you're nice to me.

It's all feelings and emotions and temporal things.

I don't love you anymore.

Right.

Our love.

You always hear that phrase love fades, Our love's fading.

No, yeah, Because love is not a feeling Right, right.

And so, human love, you can start out strong, but then pressures come and it's not gonna be there.

And so we're talking about divine love, god's love, god is love, and so, no matter what you've done, no matter what you've done today or what you will do, god loves you anyways.

Whether you read his word or you don't, he loves you, and so it's our constant, it's our denominator, it's so, it should.

That's the kind of love we're talking about.

Amen, god's love.

And so we, as believers, should be walking in the God kind of love.

You know it's a fruit of the spirit mentioned in Galatians 5, 22 and 23.

And because it's a fruit of the spirit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and so forth goodness, self-control, let's see, I missed two or three, but anyways, love is definitely in there.

It needs to be cultivated, it needs to be watered by the word amen, and so, again, you're not loving out of your own kind of love.

You're loving out of God's kind of love that was given to us when you got saved.

And so I'll just I'll read that really quick Romans 5, 5, and the amplified it says for God's love has been poured out.

The King James version says it's been shed abroad, meaning that it's been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us, and so you have a supply of God's love that's already been poured out into your heart, and so all you have to do, in every situation in life, is to learn how to tap in to that love and realize that you're not tapping into your emotions, like Selena was saying.

You're not tapping into just your brain and what you can reason and what you can figure out with your brain.

No, you're going well beyond that into God's love, having God's attitude, and you're treating people again the way God treats, the way God sees them, and your attitude and the way when you get to a point where you can give God's love out so freely that you'll wanna bless people with the same attitude that God wants to bless you, amen.

And so that's the type of love that we're talking about here tonight, and so it must be cultivated, it must be watered with God's word and, as we fellowship like Dad was talking about on Sunday when we fellowship with the Lord, when we grow in our prayer life, we're learning how to walk in love.

At the same time, because we're learning the character of God, we're getting God's character down on the inside of us and he begins to reveal to a spirit, to spirit, what his thoughts and intentions are right and so, and then we're able to demonstrate and walk out and live that love.

You know, in 2 Corinthians oh, if you wanna interrupt me, you can.

Well, I was just gonna read in Ephesians.

Unless you wanna go to 2 Corinthians, go ahead.

In Ephesians 5, 1 and 2, says therefore, be imitators of God as dear children and walk in love, as Christ has also loved us and given himself for us and offering in a sacrifice to God for sweet, smelling aroma.

And I wanted to read that in the new living translation.

It says imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.

Live a life filled with love.

And we said again live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.

You know, whether you realize it or not, you're following something, and so what is guiding you, what is leading you?

Who are you following?

And so we should be following here.

It tells us, paul tells us we should be following the example of Christ.

He loved us and he offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

And so I want to even Ephesians 4, go to the previous chapter in verse 14, that we should no longer be children tossed to and fro, caring about with every wind of doctrine, by trickery of men and the cunning of craftiness, of deceitfulness, plotting, but speaking the truth in love may grow up into who is the head, christ.

So we should be maturing in Christ.

So we should be especially in the love arena.

We should.

Things that bothered us last year we should be overcoming.

Those shouldn't bother us this year.

You know, if we got frustrated last year about a certain issue, we should be growing in that and maturing in that and we should see progress this year.

So that's what that scripture is saying, verse 16, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effect of working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

So we're supposed to.

Why do we need to walk in love?

Why do?

Because we're here, you know, we're on this earth and we're around people and we can get frustrated, and so we're.

So here he tells us we're supposed to be functioning together, we're supposed to be.

You know, a church is not just pastor and that's it.

No, it's a whole body, and so we have to learn how to.

We have a part to play.

You have a part to play, I have a part, jay has a part to play, and so if my part, if I'm not walking in love and my part will somebody else, you know I might hurt somebody else by the words I say, or the lack of or.

So there is a joint, we are supposed to be working together, and so I love these scriptures.

So when there's a, therefore, go back and like, hey, what is it there for?

Let me read Ephesians 4, and then it goes on.

I'm not going to read the whole thing, but it just goes on, verse 22, put off concerning your former conduct.

So the old thoughts, old man, old way of thinking which grows corrupt according to the sifal, lusts and be and this is how you do it and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in the true righteousness and holiness.

And then it goes on to talk about grieving the spirit, putting away lying and being.

Don't be angry, don't steal, don't let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth.

And so there are things there that grieve the Holy Spirit.

So when we don't walk in love, we're grieving the Holy Spirit.

We might not see it that way, but that's what the word says, that it says that we grieve the Holy Spirit if we're not walking in the God kind of love.

And so it's really important to walk in the God kind of love, at church, at home, at your workplace, everywhere you go, just to put on that we're a new creature.

Old things have passed away.

Behold, we're a new way of thinking, new way of talking, just a new way of doing things.

Amen.

God's way.

God's way of doing things, amen.

You know, going back to Ephesians 5, 1, and the King James and New King James, the word.

Therefore, when she said that, find out what it's there for, we learned that from Pastor John Osteen when we were growing up.

He would always teach us that, if that word exists, therefore, you got to find out why it's there.

So you got to back up and find the reason and the connecting things.

So just a little thing about studying your Bible.

But in verse two in the NLT, when it says live a life filled with love, you know you can't live a life filled with love until you're filled with God's love.

And so again, a measure of that has been shed abroad in our heart, poured into us.

But we can grow in love by cultivating it and by spending time with God and basically you get better at walking in love when you're practicing walking in love.

Right, you got to practice it, so it's 24 hours a day.

It's something that you don't ever turn off.

Yeah, and we're always given opportunities.

That's right.

You know every day where we have to walk in love we're going to.

You know we come to a crossroad and we're either going to choose the word of God and walking in love or we're going to choose flesh.

There's like no gray area in that.

You're either choose the word of God and walking in love or you're going to choose what you want to say, what you want to think, how you feel at the moment, and so choose the word.

Every when you come to that crossroad, we choose the word, we choose love, we choose divine love.

So, along those same lines, in 2 Corinthians 514 and the Passion Translation, it says for it is Christ's love that fuels our passion and holds us tightly, and so the King James Version says it constrains us.

So it's a love of God, it's a love of Jesus Christ that constrains us and it holds us back from being just walking in our emotions and being frustrated and being disappointed and trying to calculate.

You know all of the different ways that you were wronged by somebody, whether it be your boss or somebody at work or anything else.

That's what it's constraining you, it's holding you in to doing the right thing and thinking the right way and it's fueling your compassion.

It's fueling your passion.

Yeah, well, I was about to say compassion.

Yeah, jesus moved with compassion he didn't move with flesh yeah.

Right.

And so a lot of times we think, you know where.

I'm just not going to say that I'm going to keep quiet, but really love is an action, absolutely.

Jesus didn't just sit there, he was moved with compassion, and so he did something.

He went there, he said something, and so I think that sometimes we can, you know, be like stuck in the mud.

Well, what's my next step?

No, always, you know.

Love always says a kind word.

Love is always patient, it's not envious, it's not jealous.

And maybe you're jealous of somebody.

Well then, bake them a cake, do something good instead of just, well, I'm not going to say anything.

Well, no, do something.

And so I think I believe that that's that's how we're witnesses.

Well, that's that's how we're disciples, you know, true disciples.

John 13, if I can read that, 34 and 35, says a new commandment I give to you that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another by this, by how cute you look, no.

By prophecies no, those are great, but by love.

This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

And then in the new living translation it says so.

Now I'm giving you a new commandment love each other.

Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

Your love for one another will prove to the world that you're my disciples.

And when I read that in the new living, and I read that word prove, I thought of a courtroom, like, hey, you know how?

About if you were in the courtroom and somebody had to prove, like you couldn't say anything, but they had to prove that you're a Christian what would they say about you?

You know your love, walk, and so it's very important that's how people know that we're his true disciples is how we treat one another and how we walk in love.

Amen.

And you know it's this kind of love in that verse that she's talking about, that remodeled you, that shaped you, that shapes your attitude, it shapes the way that you think and it's that love that draws other people to you.

You know, I'm always amazed how God uses the little things to draw people you know closer to you, that they're attracted by that love, they're attracted by your generosity and really just sometimes it's just basic manners.

I hit it off with a guy at a restaurant.

We were a big group of us was going into Don Ramon the other day and I was holding the door open for everybody and closed it and then went back and opened it again for this gentleman and he just lit up and we started talking.

It's always good to walk in love and literally the little things you know in every area of your life.

So that's the kind of love that will attract people to you and open up a conversation about God.

You know you always share the love of God with them.

That made me think of food.

Well, I don't know.

Well, not food, I don't know why.

I made me think because you were generous and you always have good manners and open the doors.

You know you've always, so you're very nice, but you're always also giving, and it made me think of you know, you gave a guitar not too long ago.

I don't know if you want to tell that story and but we were at a family here from church at their house, and we were just hanging out and they have little kids and one of the sons I don't remember how it came up.

I was in the middle of getting ready and the Holy Spirit is like you need to bring your guitar tonight and I thought, well, I wonder if they're musical.

I begin, you know, I didn't, I didn't really know, and so I went and packed it all up and made sure I wouldn't forget it later on when we were leaving.

And so we get there and and I don't know, we started talking about music and I got it out and and I showed one of their their sons, you know how to play a few chords, and he had already had a another guitar that was broken, and so, I don't know, we started talking in another room and left him playing my guitar in that room and all of a sudden he just starts playing it and he's just making real music with it.

I was, I was shocked and you know, the Holy Spirit just led me to to give it to him, leave it with him and and allow him to use that to learn.

So I'm a giver, yeah that's all of an action.

Yeah, it is.

Yeah, that was so sweet, but we'll always be givers.

Yes, that's right, that's right, I'm sorry.

I was, I was listening to you and not looking at my next point.

You know, like so for God, for God's.

You know John 3, 16,.

For God so loved the world that he gave, and so he loved us so much that he gave what meant the most to him, right?

And so Mark Hankins likes to say that you can give without loving, but you can't love without giving.

So love is going to drive you to generosity.

It just is, it's impossible.

You know love, you cannot love without giving.

And so, boom, you're going to, you're going to, you're going to be a giver, right, you're going to be generous.

And so you know also another thing love does.

The Bible says that love casts out all fear, and so fear is really driven by, you know, the, either the fear of dying or the fear of man, like what men think.

You know.

So sometimes you know you're worried about sharing.

I know that people are so cautious now about getting fired.

I can't, I can't mention my faith in the workplace because I might get fired.

But no, we're to shine everywhere we go, right.

And so you don't need to be afraid of being fired or afraid of of being tattled on at work.

You know there tonight.

What are they going to say about you?

You know like, and so if you're really walking in the God kind of love, then good things are going to happen and good doors are going to open for you and and good opportunities to share your faith are going to happen, amen.

And so don't allow fear to hold you back.

Amen, amen.

I wanted to read a little bit of, if we have time, love, the secret to success.

It's a little book I carry around with me.

I got a copy too, you do.

And here are the nine aspects of love.

Which God, which God which can be described as light shining through a prism and dividing into many colors and a patient is, is one of them.

First of all, love is grace for imperfect people.

Love is not in a hurry but is persistent and prepared to wait.

In that good, it's graceful under pressure.

There you go.

That's awesome.

So anybody can just be happy, go lucky when everything's in order and your home life is great and you got a great husband and great kids and all of this, and, and you know, live in the life.

But when there's pressure, what do you check them off?

Check, check, check.

Check, check check, I'm just messing.

When there's pressure, what do we do?

And so God's love is patient, it's graceful under pressure.

Amen In that good and it's kind.

The best thing you can do for God is to be kind to his kids.

That's right.

You can't love the father and not love his children.

Let me say that again you can't love the father and not love his children.

So you can come here Sunday morning and worship God, and I love you, god, and I love you.

We sing all these.

You know we have wonderful times of praise and worship here, but then the person sitting next to you, you don't like them.

Well, that it doesn't work that way.

God's love, you love him, but then you're going to love his kids.

And that's true love, that's God, that's that divine love.

Acts of kindness and love communicate happiness to those around us.

So it communicates.

Just like we said earlier, it's action, love and action.

It's not envious.

So love prefers others, is not competitive, but is generous.

In any line of work there would be others who are better, and it is a temptation to push others down in order to get ahead.

But love will help others to be their best, preferring them first.

And that good, not me but it's you.

You go first, you know, and it's not about me getting the credit, no, you.

It's about the other person.

That's divine love, that's God's love, amen.

It's homeboy keeps going.

It's courteous, it's unselfish, it is not grasping but generous, knowing it is more blessed to give than to receive.

It is not stingy but ready to share, given to hospitality, not easily provoked.

Love does not have a bad temper.

That's right.

Great talents and influence can be completely destroyed in one fit of anger.

Completely destroyed, so you can be, you know, head of this and head of that team and head of whatever security, and listen, and that's great and all.

But just with this said, great talents and influence can be completely destroyed in one fit of anger.

So it's good to just do a self-check and evaluation.

Hey, am I walking in love?

Am I?

Do I have a short fuse Because God doesn't want me to.

There are sins of the body and sins of the disposition.

For example, the sin of the prodigal son, older brother, was greater because he was ungrateful for his father's constant provision and jealous of his brother's honor.

So, yeah, we talk about the prodigal son and we knew all his sins, but the one, the one that was at home, really his was the greater because he was jealous.

That's right.

He had it all.

His father was like well, you had, you could have had a party, you could have had the signet ring.

You have my robes, they're all at the house, you can have, you can wear them all, and so-.

He said he was just counting up all the ways he's been wronged and treated bad.

Yeah, and so we can learn by that story, by the prodigal son, not be like his brother, love doesn't, it's not easily provoked, it's not jealous.

And so God wants us to live this way, you know, not just to talk about it, but it's one thing to talk about it, but it's another way to another thing to live it out.

And so God gives us grace, he helps us, you know, in times of need he's there for us Absolutely, and so those definitions that Selena was reading comes right out of 1 Corinthians, 13, 4 through 8.

We all know that, and so that's nothing new, and so I just want to challenge you, though, to reread that this week, you know the rest of this week, when you're waking up, you know we have the Ephesians one prayer.

We have the Ephesians three prayer.

We have prayers that we can pray, but really, when you read God's definition, there's some.

That's what this whole book is filled with all different translations, some of my favorite, the Johnson translation, the Passion translation is another good one and then in the Amplified Classic.

And so real quick, we don't have a whole lot of time left, but I just wanted to point out that you know to make it personal.

So if God is love and we are God except, don't kick me off, don't, you know, kick me off a live stream it's just that we are His hands and His feet, that we are God in action on this earth, and so, therefore, if God is love, we are love, right, we are God's love, and so there's nothing wrong or taken out of context If you just put yourself, if you make this definition of love personal.

I just encourage you to make it personal and just change love to I.

I know it doesn't really change the word of God at all and therefore you're making a confession.

I endure long, I am patient, I am kind.

I never am envious or boil over with jealousy.

I'm never boastful or vanglorious, I never display myself as haughty and I'm not conceited, I'm not arrogant, I'm not inflated with pride.

You so on and so forth.

If you would just go on every single definition I'm telling you, your attitude will change.

You'll begin to.

You know you never let's see that suffered wrong.

Where is that one?

I like the verse seven.

I bear up under anything and everything that comes.

I am ever ready to believe the best of every person.

Amen, I am ever ready to believe the best of every person.

I hope, keep going.

It hopes are faithless under all circumstances and I endure everything without weakening.

I never fail.

There you go.

Yeah, that's great.

I never fail.

I never fail.

Because I walk in love and love never fails.

So if love never fails and I'm walking in love, I never fail.

Amen.

So make it personal and so you know we can.

We all need to grow in our love walk.

There's corrections that all of us need to make in order to be better representation of the love of God for those around us.

Amen.

And I think it.

I mean I know, I mean it starts at home.

And it made me think of, I don't know, this example of just you know, sometimes even with just the petty little things where you know I don't know, for example, doing the dishes or washing the clothes, or somebody at the house had a job and they didn't do it right or they didn't do it the way that you do it, because the way you do it is right and the way they do it is a different way.

The way they load the dishwasher might be a little different in the way Better, better it's better.

Yeah, you do load the dishwasher better.

At least it's more efficient.

Yes, this is true, the dishes get equally as clean and there's like twice as many in there.

That's a good thing, this is true, this is true.

But just petty little things like that, where you know what, you don't even have to say anything, Like you can just hold your tongue Like love doesn't say anything, it just lets that person you know, and that's a.

I'm not saying like you don't teach.

If you have younger kids and you're just training them and teaching them, well that's a different thing.

You're teaching.

But if you're adults, the knives do not go in the dishwasher that way.

No, no.

But, you should probably hand wash those.

It's a teachable moment, but just petty little things like that, where you know, sometimes when we think of the first Corinthians 13, we think of these grandiose things, but really it's the things.

It starts at home and it starts with what you say and just guarding your tongue and not having to have the last word.
