The 9/11 Countdown

Let's reach down and pick up our Bibles.

Please Wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

Let's say this together say Heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here today.

I've come to receive information from heaven that will continue to change my life, because the Bible says if you continue in my Word, then are you my disciples?

Indeed, and I desire to bear fruit because of the Word of God and the Holy Ghost.

In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated, hallelujah.

Let's turn in our Bibles to 2 Peter, chapter two.

You know, 2 Peter is an end time book, jude's an end time book, james is an end time book because they deal with the end times and of course, they're written to the church.

And 2 Peter, chapter two, verse four For if God spared not the angels that sin, but cast them down to hell and deliver them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment, and spared not the old world but saved Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them with an overflow, making them an example under those that should, after live ungodly and delivered just lot, vexed with the filthy conversation or manner of life of the wicked, for that righteous man dwelling among them and seeing and hearing vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds.

But the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation Notice temptation's plural.

The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under the day of judgment to be punished.

Well, here, on the anniversary the 21st anniversary of 9-11, I just wanted to share a message entitled the 9-11 Countdown.

A couple of ways I could preach this message from the negative side.

Rehearse all the negative side of 9-11 and what it's wrought.

The beginning of a countdown.

Make the case.

You know, this is city of countdowns.

That is until Obama moved NASA and got rid of all the evidence of the countdowns.

We don't even have a space shuttle.

We don't have anything in Houston, thanks to Obama.

He punished us for voting against him, against him, against him, against him, against him.

Anyway, it became a countdown.

Here we are, the 21st anniversary.

I'm gonna preach it from the positive side, because I believe there's a positive side to it that we can draw from it so that we don't have to be vexed.

You know, you can be vexed or you can be victorious.

I have to work at not being vexed.

I have to avoid certain television programs like the news, even the local news.

I mean, it's just vexing.

These people get away with all kind of thing.

You know what God said they're not getting away with anything.

Let's not get all sunk down into the negative side of what we've seen for the last 21 years, but let's think about the fact that it's a countdown to when we're getting out of here.

You know Jesus is coming and before he comes, I believe he's gonna have a mighty harvest that we're gonna get to reap.

I'm harvest minded, not judgment minded, but yet there's no harvest without judgment.

Judgment simply means separation, that's all it means.

It means separating the sheep from the goats, the chaff from the wheat.

Amen.

I mean you gotta clean the fish.

You don't just eat the whole fish, right?

Separation, amen.

You need separation in order to have a harvest and that's what we're seeing right now, gradually.

God is so merciful.

21st anniversary of 9-11.

You know it's the 10th anniversary of Benghazi.

See another anniversary.

See our enemy.

Islam is our enemy, one of our enemies.

The other enemy is communism.

Yeah, oh, you shouldn't say that while I'm saying it.

I don't care who likes it or doesn't like it, it's the truth.

They're our enemy and that's what happened to us on 9-11.

Our enemy attacked us.

We could talk about how feckless and stupid our letter agencies were to allow that.

I don't even wanna get into it.

We already know that.

It's been proven over and over and over that those agencies have turned into nothing.

Burgers, you trusted in that.

You trusted in the wrong thing.

I'm trusting in the God, who's able to deliver us out of temptation's plural the godly, and we is the godly, amen, amen.

So think about Ben Gausey and Hillary Clinton's total.

Oh, what a horrible person.

Claims to be a Methodist minister.

She's a minister like I'm an astronaut Minister of evil.

That's right.

Just gave her ambassador over to a mob and then they lied about it.

They sent Susan Rice out to lie about it to everybody that would listen.

Oh, no, that was that evil video, that man.

And they persecuted that poor man for a year for just running an informational video on Islam.

That's all it was.

Oh, it was because they saw that video and it made.

No, they planned an attack on our embassy, had been planning it for years and we ignored the sign.

Thanks to Hillary baby, and all the rest of these vacant people that have been in charge, can't say much better about Bush.

9-11, by the way, was on his watch.

Are y'all with me now?

So we all remember where we were that day.

Gladys and I were preparing to go across town to the studios of Channel 14, tbn to host the local praise the Lord program, jay, while we're just getting ready, jay called me and said hey, turn on the television, we're under attack.

And I turned on the television to see this terrible thing.

So we got her finished getting ready and started driving.

I called the station ahead of time.

I said just to inform you, I'm on my way.

We're gonna have a prayer meeting.

Just let the guests know that we're not having a praise the Lord program.

We're not gonna be any interviews.

There's not gonna be any Any of that.

We're going to pray, we're gonna have a prayer meeting.

I Didn't ask them.

I didn't say ask their permission.

I just said that's what it's gonna be.

Oh, we were thinking the same thing.

We're so glad.

I said well, good, I'm glad, you're glad, but that's what's gonna happen.

I just didn't want to hear it.

I didn't want to hear the same old Clap trap that I had been doing for years and years on that station a bunch of nothing again.

Nothing, burgers.

I Was on there to speak over Houston, to say things over this city and I got to do that.

So thank God for that, thank God for that open door.

And, as far as I know, we were the first prayer meeting.

I mean we were while the, while they were falling.

I mean by the time we drove there that the towers had fallen and we got to the station and I mean immediately, we just knelt, knelt on the set and we had a prayer meeting and we were penned Over the national sin.

We were penned over our abortion Decision, roe v Wade and the fact that babies are being murdered.

We repented over the way we have treated Israel.

Every president up up until that time had had gotten into the two-state solution and Trying to part God's land.

Don't you ever read Joel, chapter 3?

You can't part God's land.

It's God's land.

It's not just the Israel, it's not just Jews, it's God's land.

And you're over there presuming that you're gonna give some of it away for some Peace with people who have never held on to anything They've ever said.

They lie from daylight to dark.

Their religion allows them to lie to the infidel, and we is the infidel people that love God, the real God, the true God.

And so we had that prayer meeting, but I don't know about very many other ones that were talking about it like that.

We were meeting in the seventh day Adventist Church and At the time I was kind of upset.

I was thinking, gosh, I didn't know this was coming.

How could I, how could I have a prophetic anointing on my life?

How could I know the things that I know and not know that this was gonna happen?

Well, I did know, I just didn't know.

I knew God did warn me, and I'll get into that in a moment.

But in the weeks following 9-11, millions of people Ripe harvest, showed up at churches to find out what's going on, what should we do?

And they didn't hear their message of repentance.

They heard we got to get.

We got to punish those terrorists, we got to stop the terrorism.

We got it.

We're gonna be, we're gonna build back bigger, we're gonna build back stronger, and we did.

We built a tower 1776 feet tall and we called it the one world trade center.

It's the.

It's the monument to the antichrist that we built in New York City and we allowed the Muslims to build a mosque on the site of 9-11, which is what they do.

They build a mosque everywhere.

They have victory.

That's why they're on the dome of the rock.

The dome of the rock is is on the site of the former temple.

This is what they do.

They plant a victory flag everywhere that their jihad is operating.

What did we hear?

Well, we hear.

We heard that we need to be nice to Muslims, we need to be sweet and we need to be inclusive.

Let's start having them in the White House for the Ishtar dinner, mr Bush.

Mr Bush came out and said all we were all children of the same God.

We worship the same God.

I said no, sir.

No, sir, you don't know squat about the Bible.

He claims to be a Christian, but I can't see that he knows enough to be one.

I'm not his judge.

I just have a question.

For somebody to say a false God is God, you don't know anything.

And so we started going to the airport.

Now, all of a sudden, we're the ones treated like criminals.

You know, gram off in Kentucky, blue haired, lined up against the wall, searched.

You know, I mean the FBI knows profiling.

We profile for years.

You know what, if, if, if Israel didn't profile people that come through their Airports, they wouldn't exist.

They'd be blown apart.

They know exactly who it is that blows people up.

And it's not me, it's not you, it's not Americans, it's Islam.

That's who it is.

They know it.

They knew it then, but they, they just chose to exercise control over you and I.

Now it's as negative as I'm gonna be, but we do need to understand how we got where we're at.

It didn't start last, during COVID.

It didn't start just down.

You know, it started a long time ago.

People like Roosevelt started it.

He's a hero to a lot of people.

My age is older than I am.

They credit him for things that doesn't belong to him.

It did.

He didn't end the depression.

War ended it.

War ended it.

He prolonged it with his policies of make work.

So there was no call for fasting and prayer, no call for turning to God.

So you know I knew from what God had told me earlier in 1998, the night five hours after I had this revelation at a prayer meeting, five hours after I stood, what I was standing in blood up to my ankles and God had told me I'm about to judge corporate America.

I saw in the distance.

I saw Washington DC.

It's gonna start with Washington, it's gonna start with the government and then it's gonna spread to corporate America.

That's what he called it.

He didn't call it.

He didn't call it international corporations.

They all call themselves international and they do business, but as far as God's concerned, they're all American companies and they owe something back to the country that made them rich.

They owe them more than just being woke and advocating for abortion and all kinds of craziness.

But this is back in 1998.

And, of course, just a couple of months later, we saw the exposure of our president having what he did in the Oval Office and defiling the people's house.

It all came rolling out there just for and what is judgment?

It's exposing evil, and evil was exposed according to what God had told me ahead of time.

And then he said so it's gonna start there.

And then, five hours later, then, after this visitation, I was standing in blood and I began to weep.

This is at a prayer meeting.

How many of us were at that prayer meeting that Thursday night?

So we still got people that were there at that prayer meeting on a Thursday night in our first building.

So God's been talking to me about judgment for a long time.

He's been talking to me about what's gonna happen in this nation for a long time.

And I'm standing in blood.

I said, oh God, the blood of your soldiers, our soldiers that have died at every war.

God, have mercy on this country.

No man, I heard a no like it shook me from head to toe.

I said, well, lord, the blood of Jesus, and I don't know how.

You even know how to pray.

He didn't want me to pray, but what was gonna happen could not be changed.

Five hours later, our two embassies, one in Tanzania, one in Kenya, were attacked by Al Qaeda.

We lost 200 Marines and embassy personnel and 1,000 Africans all died in those bombs.

And that was the beginning of Jihad, really.

I mean, they came after us.

I think Clinton bombed an aspirin factor and that was his response.

Clinton had Osama bin Laden.

They had him in their sights two different times.

Snipers had him ready to go, asking for permission, and he wouldn't grant it.

And so, talking about the warning in the end of 2000, how many of you remember Y2K?

Oh, y2k.

Planes are gonna fall out of the sky.

Let's move to Arizona and get them in.

I mean, I knew people that went to Arizona and put on a white robe waiting for the rapture to occur on Y2K nuts.

But anyway, ibm had a whole division dedicated to study in the Y2K and making sure the computers were still, and they weren't even sure.

One of them came to the church at the time.

He said you know, we still really don't know what's gonna happen when the time goes over.

It leaves 19 and goes to 2000.

We don't even know if the computer is gonna be able to keep up.

How about your 747 computer?

And you're flying across the Pacific Ocean and the computer doesn't know where it's at or who you are, and it falls out of the sky.

That's what they were thinking it might happen.

It didn't.

Computers were smarter than they thought.

But the end of 2000, god gave me a prophetic word about 2001,.

He said 2001, it's gonna be a premier year, a year of firsts.

And then, as he said that I saw, 2001, comma 2002, comma dot, dot, dot.

How many ever remember that?

Some of you were in church when I prophesied that, a first in a series of years.

Well, I didn't recognize it as a countdown.

I mean, obviously we're going increasing each year 2001, comma 2002.

I wouldn't think it about the rapture See, it's a countdown to the rapture but I didn't read it that way.

I'm thinking in those years, this is pre-911, I'm thinking positive.

I'm thinking, oh, this is gonna be a great year.

We're gonna see some great things this year and things that we've never seen before.

Wow, I didn't think about the twin towers falling, people diving out of the floors before they fell, they chose to leap to their death rather than burn to death.

I didn't think about that being a first.

I didn't think, of course not.

This is pre-911, even though I'd had a warning in 98.

Anyway, first in a series of years, and then in June of 2001, three months and a few days before 9-11, I had a dream.

I call it the tsunami dream.

I've told it before, I won't go into great detail, but I'm driving on a beach deloo, water out to my left, sand dunes to my right, beautiful.

I'm in a convertible white, white and blue, white, white, white, white, white, white.

I'm in a convertible white, sandy beach, not a care in the world, beautiful, crystal clear day.

And suddenly I see something out in the water and I look and it's a tsunami headed my direction.

So my carefree attitude turned to terror.

I'm thinking, oh my God, I've got to get off this beach.

It's going to kill me.

I got to get, I got to find a way off of here.

It couldn't turn right because it's dunes.

I'm not in a four wheel drive Jeep.

And so I start looking for a road and I see one up ahead and I put the pedal to the metal.

But this thing is getting closer and closer and finally I'm not there yet.

I'm not able to breach the escape and even if I do, I'm not sure I can outrun the thing.

And the shade of?

I was under the shade of this 60 foot tall wall of water.

It's curling over the car.

I'm looking up and the water's right above me and there's no sun.

I'm in the shade of it and I'm thinking in the dream I'm dead, I'm roadkill man, this is it.

And in the next instant I'm on top of the wave, being thrust forward with the most exhilaration that I've ever found.

I mean, I'm just filled with exhilaration and joy and I was so impressed with the power that was thrusting me forward and I woke up and after I calmed down and got over all of the conflicting emotions that I felt, you know, it went from terror to exhilaration, from fear to, you know, to power.

I mean, you just don't even know where you are for a little while.

But as I caught my breath and I prayed awhile, I remembered John G Lake saying that the same wave that brings the glory brings destruction.

So there was my warning of 9-11, but I didn't recognize it as a warning.

I might have preached about it, I might have said something about it, but when 9-11 occurred, I thought why didn't I know?

And it took me awhile, it took me months, to realize that God was talking to me about this all along.

He didn't get specific because I didn't ask enough questions.

One thing I've learned is, when God deals with you, he gives you an idea.

Let's keep working, let's keep asking God until the idea becomes a concept, and then it becomes you know, and then it becomes an insight.

Ideas, concepts and insights.

I just stopped with the idea.

I didn't keep on asking God.

What does this mean, god?

What exactly are you trying to tell me?

And you're not trying to tell me.

You have told me, but I haven't been able to figure out what it is you're telling me.

Why are you telling me this?

What's my action.

Before all that, though, in 1999, three months, five weeks rather, after Brother Osteen went to heaven, god charged me with waking up the church.

So you tie all these things together, and that's what God was faithful to do.

He was warning me.

You know, to be warned is to be forearmed.

You know, when you're warned about something, god wants to save you from the trouble.

He didn't warn you to make you afraid.

He didn't warn you to say, oh, it's just nothing you can do.

You might as well.

Just, you're just along for the ride.

You're gonna be crushed under the weight of the wave.

No, you're gonna get to ride that wave of glory.

It's not sent to destroy you.

It's sent to propel you into the right harvest.

That's right.

Hallelujah, come on, let's lift our hands right now.

God is so good.

So when the people came back, they didn't get this message that I'm talking about.

They didn't hear anything from the leaders quote unquote of the church.

They just the Congress sat out on the front of the Capitol.

They sang Kumbaya for a couple of days and had a fake show of unity.

It dissolved within weeks.

9-11 was pretty traumatic.

They had to close the stock market.

People were panicked, people were laid off.

We went into a recession.

It was traumatic.

There was destruction, but during that destruction, the financial miracle that it took for us to have a good harvest and the financial miracle that it took for us to have this building occurred Because the businessman was shorting the stock market when it started going down.

He was purchasing put options, which means that you make money on the downside of the market.

He knew how to do it and he made $20 million in a year while everybody else's hung out to dry.

You know, every time there's judgment, there is opportunity for the church to ride the wave of glory.

Come on, everybody say I'm riding the wave of glory.

Destruction's not for me, deliverance is for me.

He knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations.

Plural Hallelujah.

We have nothing to be afraid about.

Well, what about my relatives?

Well, you know, if you're praying, god's got a plan to get them saved.

This is a great opportunity to get people saved.

We haven't really gotten to the greatest opportunity yet because the revival hadn't happened, but it will.

Why do you think that pastor?

Everything?

There's nothing that looks that way, because I have confidence that God knows what he's doing.

I know he's the greatest farmer that ever lived.

I know that he sent his son as a seed.

He's the firstborn among a few brethren.

No, he's the firstborn among many brethren.

God is not.

He's not caught unaware about this.

Amen, I'm excited really.

But you have to move your emotions away from the vexation and the anger at what looks like people getting away with murder, so to speak.

Well, literally many of them are getting away with murder, but we gotta move our attitude away from that thinking Amen.

So 9-11 was the first in a series of judgments designed to bring people back to the Lord, to bring people back from the brink of apostasy, and the church missed a huge opportunity to lead the people in that way.

The church when I say the church, not this church, but the church I realize that in the church you've got churches that are asleep and you've got some that call themselves churches but they're not churches because there is no Holy Ghost there anymore.

He's removed his candlestick.

That's right.

When I say the church, I mean the true church.

I'm talking about the church of the firstborn, I'm talking about the church of born again people, and not all of them are doing the right thing.

Not all of them are awake, not all of them have plugged in to the truth like they should, but that doesn't mean that they won't Hence what God told me to do wake up the church.

He didn't say go and have an evangelism explosion.

He didn't say get a street ministry going and get people, all the homeless people, saved.

He didn't put that in my heart to do.

He put in my heart to wake up the church.

Well, you never have any altar calls.

Well, you know, I never answered an altar call.

I got saved by myself, at my house, me and the Holy Ghost.

I never did go walk up an aisle, never did.

I did confess Jesus, publicly though, but not in a church service.

See, we have these ideas of how people should get saved.

You know how people should get saved.

You ought to get them saved.

You're the one You're supposed to do your job.

That's the believer's ministry.

My ministry, my ministry, is to wake up the church.

My ministry is make disciples of the people that you bring in here.

If you don't bring them, how can I?

What do you want me to do?

I'm not waiting.

Listen, I was at Lakewood for 15 solid years, eight years up on the platform.

Eight solid years on the platform, every service, three services a week.

I don't know how many thousand people I saw come to the altar call and very few of them ever showed back up.

So it's not an altar call that we need.

It's not an altar call.

It's not having an altar call how people get saved.

People get saved on your witness, people that know you and sometimes people that don't know you, and you just lay hands on them and they get healed.

Happened to me several times.

I've gotten people healed and then I got them saved.

Oh, everybody say the believer's ministry.

This is the greatest time for the believer's ministry because you've got to leg up on most people.

You know what the truth is.

You're sitting under the truth right this morning.

Amen, and this is an opportunity.

Amen.

So he told me to wake up the church.

23 and a half years later and we're still doing our part.

It's just amazing how the church is beginning to wake up.

I'm telling you all across this country, the church is beginning to wake up and when the church is fully awake, I believe the next wave of glory is gonna come, and with that glory is gonna come some destruction.

I don't know what it's gonna be, but the Bible kind of tells us a lot of things.

It's in there.

He said as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of man.

Well, what about Noah?

Well, the earth was filled with violence.

Well, it's pretty violent out there, isn't it?

We've got judges turning these criminals loose on a no bail and they go and do another horrible thing and they're no bail, no trial.

Yeah, it's violent out there, as it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be?

Well, we're seeing that too, aren't we?

How do teachers say you shouldn't judge people who just want to have sex with a five-year-old?

I hate to say it out loud, but that's what they said, and I've been telling you that for 10 years that the next threshold of evil is going to be pedophilia and the acceptance of that.

And that is what's going on right now.

With all these things that are going on, you can be vexed if you want to, or hey, it's a.

We were forewarned, we already knew this was headed down here and we're not surprised.

We hate it.

We hate it, but we're not going to be vexed like Lot.

Lot was a spiritually dead person.

He allowed himself to get sunk down in all the vexation.

No, we're not going to get sunk down in the vexation, we're going to look to ride the wave of glory.

We're going to get some of these people saved.

We're going to snatch them out of that lifestyle, praise God.

So three things this morning and we're going to receive communion to seal up what we're saying and commit ourselves to being in our own way to wake up the people that we know and be an arbiter of truth.

They don't hear the truth very much.

The truth has been disturbed, it's been blurred with all the lies that are being told on a daily basis and the news media printing lies and speaking lies.

On television news it's hard to find news.

It's mostly just a narrative, an opinion passing off its news.

It's not really news.

So, number one, 2 Peter, chapter 2, don't be vexed with the filthy manner of life of the world like Lot.

Look at Lot's life.

I mean it didn't turn out very good, did it?

His own daughters produced Moab and produced these tribes that were anti-Israel, still are to this day.

The Ammonites and the Moabites came from Lot.

What if he hadn't been so negative?

What if he had been a kind of?

You know, he got drunk After his wife turned to salt.

He goes up on the mountain and gets outside.

Instead of thanking God and offering an offering unto God for saving him out of the fire and brimstone, he gets drunk.

Look at his life, his life why?

Because he was vexed.

He was sad.

He was, you know, he didn't disobey God, but he didn't really enter into God's fullness of what he wanted to do with his life.

He just let his life go to pot.

No, we're not like that.

We're not like him.

We would refuse to be vexed.

We're going to be victorious.

Amen, and don't put yourself in position to be vexed Now.

We have to know what the truth is.

We have to understand what's going on.

But then, once we understand it, let's not just meditate on it until we just get so filled with vexation.

That's what happens If I'm not careful.

That's what happens to me.

I start talking back to the television.

I start wanting to throw something at it, as if you know it's not its fault.

It's just giving you what you tuned into the TV didn't say.

You know what?

I'm going to vex Griner today.

I'm going to vex it.

I know y'all never do that.

I know that never happens to you.

No, I mean, god's on our side Hebrews 13, 5, and 6.

He said I'll never leave you nor forsake you.

You don't have to fear what man will do unto you.

I'll not fail you nor forsake you.

He's with us all the time.

He's here to deliver us out of temptations, no matter what violence is going on, no matter what field is happening around us.

We're above it, we're living our godly lives and he's preserving us, amen.

And then the other thing is number two.

There are increasing waves of glory.

Yeah, there's gonna be increasing judgments, but with every judgment is a wave of glory.

God's not just trying to hurt, hurt, hurt.

He's separating.

Separating so that the glory can preserve the godly and get people saved.

He's not just through with humanity.

We're here, the church is here.

I said the church is here.

We're restraining the spirit of antichrist.

We're limiting what the spirit of antichrist can do.

Well, it doesn't look like.

Well, you know, you don't see the whole picture.

God sees the whole picture.

And he said we're gonna restrain him until we be taken out of the way.

We hadn't been taken out of the way, so part of our job is to restrain him.

So there's increasing waves of glory.

Let's not be overcome by the destruction.

Let's get on top and write the wave of glory into the right harvest.

First, corinthians 16, verse nine Getting anything out of this today?

You know I didn't wanna go negative on you and we could rehearse all the failures, but look, god has got us in position.

Paul said, for a great door and effect show is open unto me.

And there are many adversaries.

Paul was persecuted.

Paul was jailed.

You know he was beaten.

Second, corinthians 12, it tells you all the suffering that he went through Five times beaten 39 stripes, 195 stripes.

Man, what kind of a back.

As he got that back must have been just scar upon scar upon scar, thrice beaten with rods, a day and a night in the deep.

He goes through the suffering and yet he says a great door and effect show is open unto me.

There are many adversaries, but you know what I'm gonna go through.

The doors that he opens for me.

I'll tell you there's great doors open for us, great doors of financial blessing.

In the middle of all this inflation and all the negative economic news.

Let's not be afraid.

Let's realize that God is able to deliver us out of all temptations.

Don't fall victim to the temptation to be poor.

Let's turn it around.

Let's get rich.

Let's be rich For what sake?

For the harvest sake, because it's gonna be a lot of money.

For the harvest sake, because it's gonna take a lot of money to reap the harvest.

And then, finally, don't wine shine.

Let's look at Romans 13.

Now we can wine.

You know, I've been known to wine a little bit.

And then I remember these verses Romans 13, verse 11, that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep, for now is our salvation, never than when we believe.

See, we're on that countdown and I think about when God first showed that to me.

That was just the first year toward.

You know, it was T minus whatever.

We don't know how many years T minus.

Is it 20?

No, because we're still here.

Is it 30?

Maybe Is it 40?

Is it 50 years?

For now is our salvation nearer than what we believe, than when we believe.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand.

Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light.
