Let's lift our Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.
-
Let's say this together say heavenly Father, oh, I wouldn't miss this, for anything In your presence is fullness of joy, and at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
-
Thank you, lord.
-
You make my life sweet.
-
I've tasted and seen that you are good.
-
You've laid up your goodness for me and I'm experiencing it in this life.
-
In Jesus' name, amen.
-
Let's turn to the Book of Proverbs.
-
You can be seated and live stream audience.
-
We are going to be receiving communion a little while, so you might take a moment to make sure you've got your elements close by.
-
But we're going to read out of two different places this morning.
-
In the Book of Proverbs, chapter six, verse two, and it says in verse two thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth, and it sounds kind of ominous, doesn't it?
-
And what I'm speaking about today is the power of your words.
-
And last Sunday in our foundation, faith foundations, bible study, joseph preached a really good word miracle in your mouth, and I heard really great reports about that and it really ties into that.
-
But it ties into what we've been talking about, about our redemption.
-
You know we've been redeemed from the curse.
-
Remember, last week we talked about the two sides of redemption.
-
The legal side is what God Jesus has paid for by the precious blood.
-
We've been redeemed by his precious blood.
-
That's a fact.
-
It's a finished fact.
-
But then there's the vital side our envisage according to life I like to call that the functional side and that is what we've actually received, through faith and patience, of what Jesus bought and paid for.
-
So many times people, really, functionally, are walking in the curse when they ought to be walking in the blessing, and then they blame God.
-
It's not God, it's not God's fault.
-
He's already provided the blessing.
-
In fact, you're blessed, and so we talked about that last week and so today, the power of your words.
-
Let's look at Proverbs 18.
-
Well, Pastor, I've heard this before.
-
You know, in fact you say that a lot.
-
I just remind you of Brother Hagin, all these years ago, 60, 70 years ago, when he was in the sanctuary of a church that he had just gotten out of pastoring and was in the full-time field ministry.
-
He'd finally obeyed God and got out of pastoring.
-
Whenever God's will for him to pastor, and yet he pastored for 12 years.
-
How would you like to be out of the will of God for 12 years?
-
But that's where he was in the permissive will of God and didn't know it.
-
And here he is.
-
You know he's preaching at a church and he was praying in the afternoon.
-
In between the two services, morning and night, laid down, praying in tongues, and just working and praying and fasting and seeking God, and finally got so tired he just laid down, put his head, hands behind his head, looking straight up at the ceiling, and he got quiet.
-
Finally he quit making all the noises to where the Holy Ghost could speak to him.
-
And the Holy Ghost spoke so clearly to his heart and he said have you ever noticed in Mark 11, 23, that it says say, or some form of the word say, three times and it only says believe one time?
-
Well, no, lord.
-
Then he comes up to the seated position no Lord, I never did notice that.
-
And then in parenthesis, he said there's no time.
-
Tell it how many hundred times I'd read that verse.
-
I never noticed it.
-
I mean, we read the Bible and sometimes stuff just goes right past us.
-
Thank God, for the Holy Ghost can point things out to us.
-
And he said my people are not missing it primarily on what they believe.
-
They believe right, they know what to believe, but they are missing it primarily on what they're saying, and you're gonna have to teach people three times as much about what to say is what to believe.
-
So we're real big on saying around here, and most Christians aren't, which is why we have the mess we have in this nation.
-
It's because the church hasn't said the right things, the believers haven't said the right things, the pastors haven't said the right thing.
-
We have not been saying the right things.
-
Thank you for two Ome's and three Amen.
-
No, let's have.
-
Let me have a better amen.
-
Listen, we need to clean up what we're saying, and me included.
-
I mean I work on this constantly.
-
All right, so in probably found Proverbs 18, I'm gonna read it in the King James first, then I'm gonna read it in the message.
-
It says death and life are in the power of the tongue.
-
How many of you know he's not just talking about your tongue, he's talking about your words.
-
Death and life are in the power of your tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
-
In other words, if you keep saying something, you must love it, or you wouldn't keep saying it and you're gonna eat whatever it is you're saying.
-
How would you like to have a new diet?
-
How would you like to have something a little taste, a little better?
-
You might check up on what the words are that you've been speaking.
-
Amen, I like the message.
-
Now, the message says words kill, words give life.
-
They are either poison or fruit you choose.
-
Now that comes home there.
-
I said that comes home right there.
-
So if the truth be known, a lot of times we're our own worst enemies.
-
If the truth were known, we would blame the devil for things that really it's not even the devil doing it, it's our own words.
-
We're taken, we're snared by the words of our mouth.
-
That's what Proverbs six said.
-
These are Bible principles.
-
They're not even.
-
They're not really Old Testament, new Testament.
-
They're just how it is.
-
God created the worlds with words.
-
He created us, he created everything that we're in here and he breathed life into us.
-
We're the only creatures on earth that have life.
-
They have a different kind of life.
-
All these nut jobs trying to equate Humans and animals.
-
Have you ever tried to have fellowship with a cow?
-
Man?
-
Cows are dumb.
-
I mean, they're really dumb.
-
You can't I mean you can talk to them, but they don't understand you, they don't obey you, that's all you get back.
-
I have a whole bunch of sound effects that I can give you different things, all right.
-
So it says the power, your tongue.
-
The power of life and death is in your words, the power.
-
And that Hebrew word there in Proverbs 18 is the Hebrew word yad, and it means an open hand.
-
Indicating power means direction, it means custody.
-
You can gain custody over things with your words, or you can lose custody over things with your words.
-
It means dominion, it means charge.
-
See, we are designed.
-
We're in the God class of being.
-
Cows are not dogs, are not their precious.
-
Our pets are precious to us, but they're not people, and they have a certain understanding.
-
I know that you love your dog, you love your cat and you have a relationship, but it's not the same as a human being.
-
Don't ever let that be.
-
This is the part of the spirit of this age.
-
They're trying to equate all this stuff.
-
Do I mean that we shouldn't be kind?
-
No, we ought to be kind and good to our animals.
-
Of course we should.
-
I'm talking about, though, drawing a difference between man and everybody else.
-
Man is God's crowning achievement and we are created.
-
In Genesis it says let us make a man just like ourselves.
-
In the living Bible that says it this way Let us make a man, let us who's us, father, son and Spirit.
-
Let us make a man just like ourselves and let us make them masters of all of life.
-
So we're designed to have dominion and we're designed to operate on the spoken word.
-
We should be able to create.
-
We have the ability like God.
-
We're not God, but we're like God.
-
We're in that class.
-
You need to see this.
-
And whatever we say is what's gonna happen if we believe it.
-
Jesus said it.
-
I didn't say it.
-
He said you know you believe in your heart and speak it with your mouth, you shall have whatsoever.
-
You say it, you'll have it, but you know it's positive and it's negative.
-
I said it's positive and it's negative.
-
It's got a negative side to it.
-
I mean you can speak, you can tear your life up, you can set your life on fire.
-
Look over here in the book of James, chapter three.
-
I'm talking about the power of your words and I'm not gonna keep you a long time because we're gonna receive communion and I wanna give you kind of a again.
-
I'm stitching together these messages that go back all the way back to the power of positive expectation.
-
You go all the way back a few weeks ago and I preached that and then we talked about.
-
You know, I forgot the next verse.
-
I didn't write them all down, but they're all about faith, because the just shall live by their faith, and there is no living by faith without having words coming out of your mouth.
-
You've gotta have the right words coming out of your mouth.
-
If you've got the wrong words, you're not gonna get what God has for you.
-
Even though you're redeemed by his precious blood, you're not gonna have the blessing.
-
And then God gets the blame.
-
Well, you know he just allowed this and no, he didn't allow anything.
-
He's already set forth what belongs to you.
-
It's your responsibility to find out about it and speak it and believe it.
-
Amen, amen.
-
I mean, when you look at this Bible, do you believe it's true or not?
-
Amen, amen.
-
There's certain things that have to be settled.
-
All right, have you found James?
-
I forgot to look.
-
Here we go, james, chapter three.
-
I'm too busy preaching.
-
All right, james, chapter three, verse one my brethren, be not many masters.
-
In other words, don't seek to be in charge.
-
But you know a lot of people just wanna be in charge.
-
They're not really anointed to be in charge, do they wanna be?
-
Well, I've found a lot of those kind of people.
-
They don't last here very long.
-
Be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
-
What does that mean?
-
Well, for instance me, I'm gonna be judged pretty harshly on how I lead this church, because it's my responsibility to lead it in the right direction.
-
If I don't teach you what I should teach you, I'm gonna stand before God to answer for it.
-
Somebody else isn't gonna.
-
You're not gonna stand before God.
-
All these church members that go into woke churches, they're not the ones that are gonna stand before God.
-
It's that pastor that's preaching that mess and they're the sheep.
-
And God will have mercy on them.
-
And if they just wake up, they could move themselves out of those churches and go to a church that believes the Bible.
-
Amen, for in many things.
-
Verse two we offend all, if any man offend, not in word, the same as a perfect man or a mature man is able also to bridle the whole body.
-
If you can control your words, you can bridle or direct the direct.
-
You can have the direction set on where you're going, some people going in the wrong direction because their words are wrong.
-
Behold, we put bits in the horse's mouth that they may obey us and we turn about their whole body.
-
Just a little thing, this long, sitting in their mouth.
-
Here's a 1,200 pound horse, and I mean, you make that thing, do what you want.
-
Behold also the ships, though.
-
They'd be so great and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm or the rudder?
-
In relation to the ship, the rudder is not very big and yet they stare.
-
The whole ship.
-
The Titanic's rudder wasn't big enough, it was under designed.
-
And they, when they, by the time they saw the icebergs and they started trying to steer the ship, it was too late, you know, but it would have she feared it if they had given it enough time.
-
I'm telling you right now, your, your mouth, your words are steering you in a direction.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Yes, even so, the tongue is a verse.
-
Five is a little member, and most of great things.
-
Behold how great a matter.
-
A little fire kindled it, and the tongue is a fire.
-
A world of iniquity, so is the tongue among our members that it defileeth the whole body and seteth on fire the course of nature and is set on fire of hell.
-
What is he talking about?
-
What is he just talking about?
-
Our words can set our life on fire.
-
Even match can burn a hundred thousand acres.
-
It's not a big fire that causes a big fire.
-
It's a little tiny spark and many times, just a little word, out of sync that we speak and we don't think anything about it.
-
It's creating a blockage for us.
-
We're held captive by that word that we're saying Are y'all getting this now?
-
It's so important for us right now Because the spirit of this age is all about lies.
-
The devil is the father of lies.
-
The Antichrist spirit is all about lies and he has gotten himself involved in our government.
-
All the letter agencies and they're filled with liars.
-
The news media in cahoots with them.
-
Oh, you're a conspiracy theorist?
-
Of course I am.
-
The devil's got a conspiracy.
-
He wants to take over.
-
Hello, earth to believer, earth to believer, wake up.
-
I'm just now understanding why God told me to wake up the church.
-
I didn't understand it.
-
Man, I'm getting it Really.
-
I'm finding out.
-
Some people are just like duped.
-
You know what it means to be duped.
-
You know gullible, just believe everything somebody said.
-
I mean they'll pick up their phone and believe everything the news feed has to say we're dummy, that's not the news, that's a narrative.
-
If that's your source of news, you're deceived, you're duped.
-
No, we've got the Holy Ghost.
-
He's the spirit of truth, amen.
-
And we need to speak the truth in love.
-
We need to speak words of truth and love.
-
So you literally hold life and death in the power of your word.
-
Everybody say the power of my words.
-
See, it's not so much about other people's words, it's about your words.
-
What are your words?
-
We get so concerned about what other people's words are.
-
I've had men listen when you stand where I stand, you get all kind of criticism.
-
We had death threats when we stayed open during COVID.
-
I mean people just wrote on Facebook all kind of vile thing called the office and everything.
-
I mean they just went crazy.
-
They were duped.
-
I refuse to be duped by some doofus that I know doesn't know much of anything.
-
She hadn't lived long enough to know anything and to issue all these.
-
You know she had us going red and orange and yellow.
-
Oh, it's red.
-
It's a COVID, it's real red.
-
We got a red alert, you know, going around in her little uniform, her black, you know, uniform.
-
Did you notice that she wore a uniform there in those early days?
-
She wanted to be the common, common Dita.
-
Talk about wanting to be in command, and I guess she was in a certain way.
-
That's why we're going to get rid of her on Tuesday.
-
Boom.
-
And then we need to hold all these other people that we do elect accountable and we need to stay very close and give them a leash about a half inch long, because we know what happens.
-
They get in there and then they go goofy on us Got lots of those too.
-
All right, praise God.
-
So we got the power, the power of our words.
-
He said the tongue here in James, chapter three, is like a match.
-
It sets a forest fire.
-
It's like a bridle turning a horse, it's like a rudder steering a ship and we can't tame it.
-
I remember when I was lost.
-
I was a cusser and that unclean spirit actually came on me.
-
I remember when it came on me, came on me at A&M, my freshman year at A&M.
-
I was in the core and I heard cussing that I had never heard.
-
I heard cussing all my life.
-
My dad was not a cusser, my mother certainly wasn't, but you know you just pick up little words, little dirty words and cuss words and stuff.
-
But I had never heard anybody cuss like the core, the sophomore and all the way up the lines juniors and seniors.
-
In my outfit we had the, we had Reveley the dog.
-
In fact I live next door to Reveley.
-
I had to whip out to Reveley every day.
-
Hello, miss Reveley.
-
Ma'am, my name is Griner, I'm from Moferio, majoring in mechanical, and you know, go through this whole route.
-
But anyway, whip out means introduce yourself and but they cussed like and really it came on me and just, you know, I just got in the habit of saying ugly words all the time and then when I got in the home building business you're around people that's kind of the tradition of people that work in construction and Gladys would just she just melt.
-
I mean, don't say that, quit saying.
-
It's horrible.
-
And you know, I tried, I realized I didn't like it.
-
I didn't like how I sounded, I didn't like in front of the children.
-
Drive it in traffic Usually is when I cuss.
-
I know you're much holier than I am and so you're not even tempted in that area.
-
See, I remember driving on 1960 when it was two lanes.
-
I got a, I got a witness right here on third row.
-
Anyway, I couldn't control it, I couldn't stop it, I couldn't do much of anything.
-
I just, you know, I'd try and it just I just explode until I got saved.
-
And what I mean?
-
When I got born again, about three days after, I realized I had not cussed in three days, I got.
-
You know, jesus is so.
-
He delivered me from something that I had no power.
-
I had no power against that unclean spirit until I got saved.
-
And he just delivered me from it.
-
Maybe he hadn't, maybe you still struggle with it.
-
I mean I have to.
-
I have to kind of make myself pay attention to what I'm saying.
-
I can get carried away in the flesh like anybody else, but I stopped myself.
-
Are you with me?
-
Now?
-
I'm talking about words and power of words.
-
I mean we don't want to cuss anything, we want to bless everything.
-
Amen, all right, so we can't tame our tongue, but the Holy Ghost can.
-
I'll tell you the more you pray in other tongues.
-
We had a wonderful invitation last Sunday morning, right in the middle of praise and worship.
-
We usually sing three songs, but that morning I mean, I interrupted the second song and we never sang the third song.
-
Why?
-
Well, because the Holy Ghost wanted to get people filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
I didn't know it at the time, but in the, in the, in the children church and G force, we had six kids get filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
At the same time, people were getting filled with the Holy Ghost right here.
-
They had been preparing for that, they had been preparing, they'd been teaching the children and they had been talking about supernatural kids.
-
That was supernatural kids Sunday and the whole point of that was the baptism.
-
Well, I didn't put two and two together, but I'm sitting down there and it's like the Holy Ghost said look, they're getting people filled in the Holy Ghost and children church.
-
You get up there and get people filled in the Holy Ghost and main sanctuary Isn't that?
-
Doesn't that bless you, like the Holy Ghost just does stuff.
-
Hallelujah, whoo.
-
So speak in the Holy.
-
You know speaking tongues.
-
That's why he gave it to you.
-
It'll tame your tongue and get it pointed in the right direction and even though you don't understand what you're saying, angels understand it.
-
God understands it.
-
It's a supernatural language and eventually you will begin to speak correctly.
-
You'll start speaking in the right direction, amen, and the more you meditate in the Word of God.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Yes, so be filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking to yourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord of Ephesians 5, 18 and 19.
-
Be big Phil, be continually and habitually.
-
See, this is the remedy for off, you know, off base speaking.
-
I've told this story many times but it just comes up in my spirit again.
-
Glad us and I, you know, we've gone through a tough time financially and we moved to Corpus.
-
I lost my home building business in the 80s.
-
We had a depression here.
-
It was not a recession, it was a depression and every builder I knew, just about every one of them I mean.
-
It was a major power shift and home building in this town was usually decentralized into small family owned businesses like mine.
-
And after that shakeup in the mid 80s it converted over to the big machine builders, the big mass builders, and you started even seeing they call them McMansions.
-
You know McDonald's McMansions I mean.
-
Even the big houses were no longer a custom built, they were built, like with computers and machinery and all of that, and I was driven out of the business because I couldn't compete and I had to go get a job in Corpus Christi.
-
And when the depression hit Corpus, well, I lost my job because I was in the developing business.
-
So we were broke.
-
I mean broke, had to move in with my sister.
-
I was homeless, my wife and my kids.
-
We had no home.
-
And you know, I don't mean to play a violin, I'm just telling you the facts.
-
I'm a tither, I'm a giver, I know what I'm preaching on right now.
-
I used to preach it then.
-
But yet what happened?
-
Well, I got out of the will of God a little bit and you know, you just kind of you go through things.
-
So I'm sitting there, I can't get a job.
-
Nobody wants to hire a guy that's been self employed for decade or more and we're broke.
-
And we'd go to church on Sunday at Lakewood and I walk around and people say, oh, how you doing, john, I didn't look broke, I had a suit on, I had polished shoes on.
-
I didn't look broke, I didn't go and had a hang dog at you know, a look on my face and all that.
-
I didn't have a tin cup, I didn't have a sign We'll work for food.
-
But I was broke and I didn't say I'm broke.
-
Your people asked me how you doing, john as well, I'm hanging in there.
-
I mean, that was a maximum confession I could make.
-
I'm hanging in there.
-
Or another one was I'm plugging along.
-
Well, I'm plugging along.
-
I couldn't say I'm blessed, thank you.
-
I just couldn't make myself say the words I'm blessed I had.
-
I didn't say I'm broke.
-
I didn't say I see, I just.
-
I just kind of tried to cut the middle because it just felt so in, you know it, to call myself blessed in my circumstance it felt disingenuous.
-
You're going to have to.
-
You're going to have to deal with that feeling.
-
It is a lie.
-
It's never wrong to say about yourself what the Bible says about you.
-
Circumstances have nothing to do with it.
-
That's why, when people ask you, maybe you feel like you're on death's door, but you say I'm healed, thank you, I'm blessed, thank you.
-
But no, I said well, for the thousandth time.
-
One morning, guy that I knew came up to me.
-
I don't think he was really interested in how I was doing, but that's how he greeted me how you doing John?
-
Well, I'm, I'm hanging in there and he turned and walked away.
-
I mean, that's not exactly makes people in deer, you know in deer you to them.
-
I'm hanging in there and a voice, just like brother Hagen heard a voice on the inside yeah, and your fingernails are about to break.
-
Say, I knew that was a Holy ghost correcting me.
-
You know God will chasing you.
-
He doesn't chase you chasing you with car wrecks.
-
He doesn't chase in you with cancer.
-
He chases you with his word.
-
And he let me know that my words were not measuring up.
-
I was not speaking the word Thank God for the Holy Ghost.
-
I mean, I changed right then.
-
I mean right now.
-
I said oh, and the guy was by this time, was here to brice from me, and I ran after him and said, hey, let me correct that.
-
I'm doing better and better.
-
Huh, what?
-
Huh?
-
And all these years later, 40 years later, I'm doing better and better.
-
Anybody ask me how I'm doing.
-
I say better and better.
-
I don't have to quote the word, I can just say I'm doing better and better.
-
And guess what?
-
I do better and better all the time.
-
I'm doing better and better all the time.
-
I have what I say I'm not going to be snared by the words of my mouth, I'm going to choose life.
-
Oh, come on, lift your hands right now.
-
We've got the power of life and death in our mouth, in our words.
-
Choose.
-
Moses told the children of Israel right before he passed away.
-
He said you know, I set before you this day life and death, blessing and cursing.
-
Choose life, choose life, choose life.
-
Choose life.
-
Choose life that both you and your children, your seed, will live.
-
Choose life.
-
We can choose to live or we can choose, you know the other.
-
We can choose to die, and I don't even mean physical death, I just mean separation.
-
We just separate ourselves from God's best.
-
Are you with me now?
-
Yes, the power of our words, oh, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
-
The Centurion there in Matthew 8, jesus was there, and the Centurion, the Roman Centurion, he's got 100 soldiers under him.
-
He said Jesus, my servant lies home, grievously afflicted with the policy, and Jesus said well, I'll come and heal him.
-
He said oh, no, I'm not worried that you should come under my roof, but just speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed, because I'm a man under authority.
-
And if I say to this man come, he comes.
-
If I say to this other man, go, he goes.
-
If I say to somebody else, do this, he does it.
-
And Jesus marveled.
-
He marveled.
-
He said I have not found so great a faith.
-
No, not in Israel.
-
He said go your way and as you have believed, so be it under you.
-
Notice, he didn't even say anything about the servant.
-
He said servant be healed.
-
He didn't say that.
-
He didn't speak anything about the.
-
He didn't bind the devil over the servant.
-
He didn't bind policy over the servant.
-
He didn't do anything.
-
He just told the centurion go your way and as you have believed, so be it under you.
-
That's the words that Jesus.
-
He said speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
-
So the centurion had already said everything that needed to be said about it and Jesus just agreed with him.
-
Oh, we spent all this time, you know, just saying everything and trying to cover all the bases, and trying to blah, blah, blah, blah and everything.
-
Bind every demon, loose everything that we can lose, bind and lose.
-
And it's true to bind and lose.
-
But I mean, jesus just said it and that's it, as you have believed, so be it under you.
-
And he turned and went back home and as he was believing, because he knew that that would do it.
-
I'm talking about the power of your words.
-
You know, I told a brother Hagan a testimony this last week and I came across another one that I had forgotten.
-
But brother Hagan, sister Olita, had called him one day and said that my grandchild had been born dead.
-
And you know, my son, benny, is right here by me.
-
You know, at the phone booth and I'm calling you.
-
Benny wants you to pray and they did, you know, revive the baby.
-
But it's been born deformed and they want the face is deformed and they don't want them to see it, they don't think the baby can last it, just it's.
-
They raised it and it's partbeat is going.
-
But he just wants you to pray.
-
And he said now, where's Benny?
-
This is brother Hagan, where's Benny?
-
He was right outside the phone booth.
-
He said, when you hang up, just tell Benny that the baby will live and not die.
-
Click, no, praying, no binding, no, losing, no spitting and hollering at the devil, nothing.
-
Just tell Benny the baby will live and not die.
-
Click, hang up.
-
Hung up the phone.
-
So we went back to the hospital and all of a sudden the nurse come running out of the room where the baby was.
-
Well, you can see the baby now.
-
We were just watching the baby and all of a sudden it's just like a balloon the, the, the face just filled in and everything is normal.
-
You can go in and see the baby now.
-
Oh, come on now.
-
Just words.
-
I don't.
-
You know you can't do that.
-
If you've never done it, you're not going to be able to do it tomorrow.
-
But let me tell you something as we get developed in what we believe and what we say, this is the kind of power that needs to be wielded in our land, in America.
-
That church needs to rise up and manifest the spirit of God.
-
Doesn't take a preacher, doesn't take a prophet, it takes a believer.
-
Everybody say I am a believer.
-
Lord of God, the power of your words.
-
So you know, I just recommend you check up on what you've been saying, especially if you've got a problem that's been kind of hanging on.
-
What have you been saying about it?
-
You've got something that just it just seems like it.
-
You haven't been able to move that mountain yet.
-
It just seems like it's standing there facing.
-
You're facing it every day, every day, every day.
-
What have you been saying about it, been talking about it to other people?
-
Have you been magnifying it?
-
Have you been talking about how big it is?
-
I mean, the children of Israel.
-
God gave them the promised land, the journey across the wilderness between Egypt and Canaan land.
-
It was only a few months maximum, and so they had all kind of trouble going across there because they're just stiff, necked and hard to deal with.
-
I mean, moses just had the biggest trouble just leading that group of people.
-
They all wanted, you know, tough, but they got to a place called Kadesh Burnaya and he sent the 12 spies.
-
He was going to the land, check it out, bring back the fruit of it, see where everything is and come back and give us a report.
-
And you know the story 12 spies, 10 of them, came back.
-
They came back with the fruit, big, beautiful, you know, wonderful.
-
He said yeah, god said land flowing, milk and honey certainly is.
-
This is the fruit of it.
-
It's wonderful.
-
Nevertheless, there's giants in the land and they've got walled cities, they've got walled up to heaven, and the giants, I mean we just seem like grasshoppers in their side.
-
In fact, we feel like we're grasshoppers in our own side and we be not able.
-
We, you know when God gave it to us, but we be not able.
-
We be not able.
-
10 of the 12 said that and the only two that didn't say this oh no, we're well able.
-
God gave it to us.
-
Let's go up at once.
-
They're bred for us, joshua and Caleb.
-
But what did the children of Israel, three million people?
-
They voted with the prevailing wind.
-
They went ahead and said oh.
-
They cried, they wept all night.
-
Words, words kept them out of their inheritance for 40 years.
-
All those people had to die in the wilderness.
-
The leaders died right then, right on the spot.
-
They died for bringing an evil report and then everybody that believed it and agreed with it and didn't want to go in there, everybody 20 years of age and older, died in the wilderness.
-
It took them 40 years to die.
-
And then the children that they were.
-
So our children?
-
We can't have our children go.
-
Oh, they would be, they would be just decimated if we go in there, that's oh.
-
Let's protect the children, whether children possessed it.
-
See words, everybody say words.
-
My words have power.
-
So if you're coming up against something a mountain, or a problem, or a sickness or a lack, or whatever it is, you know, the redemption has to do with three broad areas sickness and disease, torment and confusion and poverty and lack those three broad areas.
-
So if you've come up against something and it just seems like it's a pattern that you can't get past, check up on what you've been saying.
-
I recommend you look at it.
-
You know how the police now we don't trust our police anymore, so we make them wear body cams.
-
We make them wear body cams.
-
You know how would you like to wear a body cam?
-
How would you like some way that somebody could record every move you made and every word you said?
-
I just think it's despicable myself.
-
That's just another liberal, stupid liberal idea.
-
We need to let our cops do their job is what we need to do.
-
Quit giving them so much grief.
-
What about the abuse?
-
Well, you know we can fix that over time, but the biggest problem is the criminals, not the cops, in my humble opinion.
-
Yeah, we've got bad apples in every place, but you know the biggest problem is criminals that don't get.
-
Just, they're not held to any account.
-
And so, you know, if you have to ask the Holy Ghost, you know you be my body cam.
-
You give me, you know, just like he did me.
-
He said oh yeah, your fingernails about to break.
-
Invite God to chasing you and correct you about your words.
-
Ooh, somebody said, ooh, I don't know about God.
-
Well, do you want to continue waiting around for the mountain to disappear on its own?
-
Are you going to take the words of your mouth?
-
You know, let me read to you what power is, it's means, it's direction, it's custody, it's dominion, it's charge.
-
I mean, that's what your words are.
-
You can take charge over that mountain and you can move it.
-
Jesus said you could.
-
Jesus said you could move it.
-
And so there's only one way to move it.
-
That's with words.
-
So check up on yourself what you're saying.
-
Well, I'm so sick.
-
No, these symptoms have to go.
-
Because by the stripes of Jesus I would say you don't deny that there are symptoms.
-
You say they can't stay.
-
You don't say I'm not sick, I'm not Hoo, hoo, hoo.
-
See, that's your, your, your a lot of Christians.
-
They get up to get this message and they get it backwards and they start trying to deny the circumstance instead of saying that it's subject to change.
-
Are you with me now?
-
I'm so tired.
-
Well, the joy of the Lord's, my strength.
-
Praise God, you might feel so, you might feel like you're about to drop, but let's say the joy of the Lord's, my strength, glory to God.
-
Hallelujah, say a little, say a little, you know dancing song and kind of do a little twirl and and resist it.
-
I can't afford that.
-
That's way above my main.
-
No, don't say that my God supplies all my needs.
-
Hallelujah, I don't need anything.
-
Yes, oh, I don't deserve that.
-
Well, you know, get that settled.
-
Just take the word deserve and forget about it, because it's not on.
-
Deserve anyway.
-
Deserve had.
-
We deserve hell.
-
That's that's bottom line.
-
But we're don't go, we don't get what we deserve.
-
If you really got what you deserve, you'd go to hell.
-
But no, we're not going to hell, we're going to get what he deserves and he deserves everything.
-
So we do.
-
We deserve everything because he deserves everything.
-
So it's not about deserves.
-
My God is a reward of those who diligently seek him, that's.
-
You can say that oh, I'm so glad I serve a God.
-
He's my reward.
-
Or hallelujah, he's my reward, or I never know what.
-
You know, when I wake up in the morning, what rewards waiting for me.
-
There's rewards every day.
-
Praise God.
-
Start saying that Instead of well, I tell you I don't.
-
I'm just waiting for the shooter to drop them.
-
I'm Murphy's law.
-
What will go wrong will go wrong.
-
No, you can change what you're saying about it.
-
I can't figure this out.
-
I just I can't.
-
But now I have the mind of Christ.
-
Praise God, he's revealing young people.
-
When you, when you take a test, start leaning on the greater one on the inside of you, just talk, talk to the Holy Spirit.
-
So, holy Spirit, you're the greater one.
-
You know I'm leaning on you, help me.
-
You know I've studied for this test.
-
You know I've done my homework and I will.
-
I need a good grade on this test.
-
Help me with the answers you can.
-
You can show me that's cheating.
-
No, it's not cheating, it's leaning on God.
-
You know God made Daniel and his, his friends 10 times smarter than the heathen.
-
Start saying that about you.
-
You know God made me 10 times smarter, amen.
-
Well, I'm just at a disadvantage.
-
I, I, you know you're more than a conqueror.
-
Is this helping anybody?
-
I know it's basic, but it's intended to be basic.
-
But some of you've never heard this type of preaching and teaching, especially in this series of messages.
-
But I'm endeavoring to get this into the next series of messages, but I'm endeavoring to get this into the next time and it's unlike jesus as Matthew, just I know how to behave because it's my duty to use so that we can rise up higher as the church.
