Let's wave our Bibles around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.
-
Say this together.
-
Say, heavenly Father, I come to the place of love and unity and I know it's a place of miracles.
-
It's a place of healing, where you intervene in the affairs of men, lord.
-
Nothing I'm facing is beyond your touch, beyond your ability.
-
You're so good to me.
-
In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.
-
Let's turn in our Bibles today to Hebrews, chapter six, and start reading with verse 13.
-
Hallelujah, Hebrews 6, 13,.
-
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself, saying surely, blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
-
Verse 17, we're, in God, willing more abundantly to show under the heirs of promise.
-
Everybody shout that's me.
-
See, he didn't just speak to Abraham, he didn't just preach promise to Abraham.
-
He promised to the heirs of promise To show more abundantly, under the heirs of promise, the immutability or the unchangeableness of his counsel.
-
He confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable or unchanging things.
-
Somebody said what things?
-
What two things?
-
Well, his promise and his oath.
-
By these two things, everybody say two things his promise and his oath, in which it was impossible for God to lie.
-
We might have strong consolation not just consolation, strong consolation who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us, which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast.
-
And that's what I wanted to just teach you and encourage you today about hope, an anchor for your soul.
-
Now, how many of you need an anchor right now?
-
I've needed one all week.
-
I mean it.
-
Just things just didn't turn out like we wanted, while really we expected.
-
Now, faith, people expect positive things.
-
Faith people.
-
When we enter into something, our definition of victory sometimes is the circumstances, but God's got a little different definition in a case where lots and lots of people are involved.
-
How many of you know that God is not a puppet master?
-
How many he's just not gonna make people vote correctly?
-
People have a free will.
-
I said people have a free will.
-
It looks like we've got a whole lot more work to do.
-
Amen.
-
You know whether you believe that some high jinks were going on or whether you believe that we're just outnumbered.
-
I think it's probably a combination of both.
-
But we need consolation, we need comfort, we need an anchor for our souls.
-
You know, your soul is your mind, your will, your intellect.
-
One of the greatest things I learned when I came into the Word of Faith and sat under the minister of John Osteen, my pastor for 15 years, is the learning of spirit, soul and body.
-
If you know that truth and act on it, you're beyond a whole lot of people that are born again in other denominations and other.
-
They don't realize that they're a spirit, they live in a body and they have a soul, a mind of will and intellect.
-
Most people think spirit and soul are the same.
-
They're not.
-
Your soul is your mind, and your mind comes under attack, especially right now.
-
Not a mystery to God.
-
He chose us to live in the last days.
-
You know all the things that we're seeing are written.
-
Jesus told us hey, as it was in the days of Noah, so it's gonna be in the days of the coming of Son of man.
-
What was happening with Noah's day?
-
Well, violence, such violence that God destroyed his creation, except for one family had to start over.
-
That's God.
-
You think God could get it right?
-
Wouldn't you think that God could get it right?
-
He could make man aware that they would just do the right?
-
No, he made man with a free will and they went into the ditch.
-
Sometimes we forget we get so and we should work hard.
-
We should get involved.
-
You listen, if you get anything out of this message, we're not gonna change what we're doing.
-
We're not backing up, we're not.
-
You know, try to figure out something else to do with our time.
-
Oh, let's start getting involved.
-
Those politics, listen, we need to be involved in the politics.
-
Yeah, we can.
-
He said going to all the world.
-
He didn't say just going to the world, it's easy, going to all the world that agrees with you.
-
Well, you know, most of the world doesn't agree with us.
-
Amen, we did an anchor and the Word of God provides that anchor that we need.
-
What does an anchor do?
-
Well, an anchor keeps you steady when winds and waves are beating against you.
-
Jesus is talking about the man whose house is built on a rock.
-
You know, when the storms of life come and beat upon that house, it will not fall as long as America was built on the foundation of the Bible and fulfilling its mandate to further Christianity.
-
That's exactly what the Mayflower Compact said and that's what our original founding documents affirm.
-
And then, when they started getting away from the foundation, started building on what Sand, shifting sand.
-
Then, when the storms of life come and beat upon that house, it will fall and great will be the ruin of it.
-
And that's talking about individuals, but it's talking about nations, talking about America.
-
Now, it's not over yet, but it's beating pretty heavy.
-
So what do we do?
-
Well, we're contending for the truth.
-
We're contending for what we've always had the last number of decades.
-
What happened this week didn't just happen.
-
It's been going, it's been happening for a long time and mostly it's because the church has either been asleep, been on the sidelines believing the live separation of church, and stay.
-
Oh, we can't get involved.
-
We might lose our precious tax exemption.
-
You know that's an idol Tax taxies.
-
Is that what it's all about?
-
Tax exemption?
-
It's not what it's about with me, come on man, come on man.
-
So we need an anchor.
-
It keeps us steady when the winds and waves are beating against us.
-
An anchor will stabilize you and keep you from being moved out of position.
-
People without an anchor right now you know you could see it during COVID lots and lots of Christians were moved out of position because they didn't have an anchor and they weren't going and hearing a message that was an anchor to their soul.
-
They just moved right on over, put the mast up, the mast up their babies, haul a baby around with a mask.
-
Mmm, come on man, I never did it, but I wanted to.
-
You know you want to thump somebody inside there.
-
The Bible says we have this anchor of hope.
-
See, we flee.
-
Notice what it said the two immutable things.
-
Verse 18, that was possible for God to lie.
-
We might have a strong consolation.
-
Who have fled for refuge, to lay hold upon the hope that is set before.
-
See, you can either be comforted or you can get all discouraged and let this whole mess move you out of position.
-
My job is to keep you in position.
-
My job is to give you the truth of the Word of God, but you have to lay hold on that hope.
-
We talk a lot about faith around here, but I want to talk about the hope, because hope is involved in a promise.
-
A promise is future, and our covenant that Jesus bought and paid for everything like healing is not a promise.
-
Healing is a fact, deliverance is a fact, protection is a fact, provision is a fact.
-
It's now, but there are promises and all promises are future.
-
So what did he do?
-
So this hope has to do with the promise that he gave to Abraham and we're the heirs of that promise.
-
It wasn't just for Abraham that he spoke.
-
He spoke for his seed and we're all, according to Galatians, we're all the seed of Abraham.
-
Through faith in Christ, we entered into that place where we're the heirs of that same promise.
-
Now the promise is half already, half done.
-
Blessing, he said, surely blessing, I will bless you.
-
Guess what?
-
We're already blessed?
-
Ephesians 5.3 says you know that we who have blessed, be the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, who have blessed us past tense with all the spiritual blessings in the Christ, all the blessings that heaven itself enjoys.
-
That belongs to you and me.
-
It's not a promise, it's a fact.
-
We are blessed and we have to choose it.
-
We have to activate it by faith.
-
But there's another promise that he promised that has not yet been fulfilled and that is for multiplication.
-
Surely blessing, when you know, he said surely blessing, I will bless the.
-
It tells you right here what he said Verse 14.
-
Surely blessing, I will bless the and multiplying, I will multiply the.
-
So the multiply part is the promise part, because it hasn't occurred yet.
-
It's occurred in part when the church was begun, on the day of Pentecost, god began to multiply the believers, and the Bible says that believers were added to the church daily.
-
Jesus said I will build my church.
-
In other words, I will add the multiplication.
-
And so, through the eons of time, you know, god has multiplied and multiplied.
-
But guess what?
-
The world has gotten bigger and bigger, and it it way.
-
I mean there are way more people on the earth than there are born again.
-
People, a lot of people, just think that God is through with America.
-
I'm not one of them.
-
If you want to hear that message, go someplace else.
-
Plenty of those kind of people.
-
They want to just get a white robe and find a mountain and wait for the rapture.
-
Not me.
-
No, we got a job to do.
-
Jesus said occupy till I come.
-
Actually, he gave a parable that said that.
-
But it's the same principle.
-
Where, where to keep he's?
-
You know he said going to all the world.
-
That means the political world.
-
Amen, we're going to keep obeying God.
-
Give a witness to the people that need to hear it.
-
Who are the people that need it?
-
Well, you know Mitch McConnell needs to hear it, kevin McCarthy and you know the top of the Republican party need to hear it just as much as the crumious Democrats.
-
They're just as rotten.
-
There's a lot of work to oh.
-
There's just so much work.
-
No well, our job is to work.
-
Our job is to labor in the harvest field.
-
That's what you know.
-
If we do that, god will do his part and do what he will multiply.
-
He said he would.
-
He promised he swore that he would.
-
How was?
-
How did he?
-
When did he do that?
-
Well, you go back to Genesis 15.
-
By that time, you know Abraham had been, you know, he'd left his home in obedience to God at age 60.
-
And he fiddled around and spent 15 years in Huron, which is a wicked city.
-
His father was an idol maker and so they went to where he could sell his idols.
-
He's supposed to leave daddy at home, but he didn't.
-
But yet just the fact that he left home, that God accounted to Abraham righteousness and that Abraham had done everything right he had he's a lot of things he made mistakes on.
-
He made a mistake by taking, you know, lot and his family.
-
He made a mistake taking daddy.
-
He made a mistake staying in Huron.
-
He picked up Hagar, who's the mother of Ishmael another mistake they're still paying for.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
I mean, we haven't done everything perfectly right.
-
That's why Jesus came and died on the cross.
-
He was the only perfect one.
-
There are no perfect candidates, there are no perfect politicians, there's no perfect solutions.
-
There's just God.
-
We have a covenant with him.
-
So you know he wakes up.
-
You know he leaves Huron.
-
He comes over there and he's kind of discouraged because God had told him you know, I'm going to multiply, I'm going to bless you.
-
And he was blessed financially.
-
But I mean, you know he still didn't have a baby, sarah, his wife, still hadn't born.
-
And so God started to say Abraham, I'm your shield and you're exceeding great reward.
-
Started talking to him there in Genesis 15, started telling him I'm going to multiply.
-
He said well, you know what's all this about?
-
The only heir I have is this Eliezer.
-
He's just a kid, that's the son of one of my servants.
-
No, no, he can't be your heir.
-
It's going to be one that comes out of your own loins.
-
Well, you know what God?
-
How do I know what you?
-
How do I know you're going to really do this?
-
I need, I need a little bit more than just can you imagine saying that to God.
-
But that's what Abraham said to Abraham.
-
I said, in other words, put your money where your mouth is.
-
I want proof.
-
God didn't rebuke him, god didn't smite him.
-
God said get me a heifer, see on my behalf, get me an animal.
-
You kill that animal and split it lengthwise and lay the halves down, because I'm going to make a sacrifice and I'm going to make a covenant with you and I'm going to swear by myself.
-
I'm looking around and ain't nobody greater than I am, so I'm going to swear by myself.
-
What does that mean exactly?
-
It means that if I don't do my part of this, I'll cease to be God.
-
I'll die.
-
Well, how many of you know he didn't die, god's not dead.
-
I still remember as a kid, 1960, look, magazine, god is dead.
-
No, you're wrong.
-
Look, look around.
-
I mean, people are nuts.
-
The news media has been screwed up for a long time.
-
So he swore, by taking that animal, that was his animal.
-
He slay and Abraham did it.
-
And then, you know, later in the day, you know, deep sleep fell on Abram and he had to drive the birds off the sacrifice and all of that.
-
Finally, god come down like a burning lamp and he walked through the blood in the animal parts in a figure eight, all around through that, through that sacrifice, and burned up that sacrifice and he cut the covenant with Abram so that Abram would know that what he said.
-
God who cannot lie.
-
And he laid hold on that promise.
-
He's 75 by that time.
-
So Sarah comes up with an idea.
-
Well, you know, it's going to Hagar and maybe that's the seed it's got to come out of you.
-
Well, that was man's plan again.
-
So 76 years old, you know, he's the father of Ishmael.
-
Pretty soon there was trouble between Hagar and and Sarah and all of that.
-
And so God said no, that's that, that's not your air, that's your child, but that's not the air of promise.
-
There's a, you know, you go back and look at how God came about to give us these promises.
-
There were lots of fits and starts, there were lots of mistakes, there were lots of things.
-
The flesh was involved in so many things.
-
You know, we look around and there's lots of fits and starts.
-
There's a lots of failures or some successes.
-
You know it wasn't a total loss.
-
The election.
-
We got some people put in place, we got some way.
-
We got to give thanks for the ones that won and that are going to be able to serve.
-
It wasn't a hundred percent terrible, but it wasn't anything like what we expected.
-
That's all, and so we need consolation.
-
What are we?
-
Where do we get it?
-
We get it from God's word.
-
We get it because it's His promise to multiply us.
-
Isn't that?
-
What we need is multiple.
-
Don't we need more people?
-
Think like we do to go to vote.
-
I don't know if it'll ever happen.
-
It may never happen, but we're going to contend for it.
-
We don't really have any place to believe that this country is going to get back to what it was.
-
We don't know why.
-
Because people have to decide.
-
Our job is to get them to the point of decision.
-
Jesus said, going to all the world, preach the gospel to every creature, to him that believe it and his baptized shall be saved.
-
He that believe it's not shall be condemned.
-
It's just that simple.
-
So we're not responsible for the condemnation.
-
We're not responsible for the people that don't listen.
-
We're not responsible for the people that don't receive.
-
We're not going to get a negative mark on our record.
-
What we are supposed to do is take the message and leave the rest of it to God.
-
So we're going to keep taking the message and we're not going to be liked and loved.
-
That's the thing.
-
See, people want to be loved.
-
They want to be liked.
-
They want people to you know, respect.
-
They're not going to respect you, forget it.
-
They hate you.
-
The devil in them hates the Jesus in you.
-
You got to decide that.
-
Know that.
-
And yet you're going to come across people that God gives you favor with, and now, at your ripe harvest.
-
Is this helping anybody?
-
This morning he said surely?
-
My dad used to call that a lead pipe cinch.
-
I still don't know exactly what it means.
-
I just know it means done, deal, we're blessed and we shall be multiplied.
-
It's going to come a big harvest at some point.
-
Whether it's enough to save this country from its sin, I just don't know this.
-
This country's gone off the rails.
-
We know it.
-
This county, harris County, suddenly became blue.
-
It's a blue county.
-
You can talk about the election and how it was handled, or you can talk about the numbers are both relevant.
-
We're going to keep working.
-
There's a lot of you that are working real hard and a lot of you walk blocks and talk to people.
-
A lot of you worked on the election day.
-
As a judges, a lot of you precinct chairs, a lot of you are involved in the party.
-
Keep listen, don't let this result get into your head and move you out of position, because we need to be a witness.
-
Whether people accept it or not, we need to be that witness.
-
That's what hasn't happened to enough degree.
-
I said it hasn't happened to enough degree.
-
So multiplying is a promise, it's a future, and that hope of multiplication, why can we hope?
-
Why don't we just believe in trust?
-
Well, because it's not happened yet, but it's.
-
It's something that he said he would promise.
-
See, promises.
-
You have to have the hope for the promise.
-
Jesus says we have a better covenant found upon better promises.
-
So if God promised something to Abraham, we've got a better promise than he did.
-
That promise, I believe, means that we're going to have a massive influx of people getting saved before Jesus come.
-
Why do I believe that?
-
Because I know that God is the greatest farmer that ever lived.
-
He knows how to plant a seed and get a harvest.
-
My faith is in him, my trust is in him.
-
I look to him.
-
I'm not in our methods, not in our fancy way of preaching, not in anything.
-
I just look to him.
-
It's a simple message.
-
The gospel is good news If we keep preaching it and live it in in front of people.
-
I think about all the meetings we had right here in this church building which had never happened in history.
-
They'd never met in a church.
-
They would fight and have all kinds of difficulties.
-
They came in this church and it was such peace.
-
They had some difficult things to decide.
-
The anointing of God was here.
-
It's not that way across the country, but at least we saw it here.
-
It's the beginning of something that's really good.
-
We're going to keep it up.
-
We're going to keep going, amen.
-
So we have a hope of a mighty revival.
-
See, that's what I believe.
-
There's a lot of people don't believe that.
-
Well, okay, just keep doing what you're doing.
-
I'm going to keep what I'm doing.
-
I'm going to hold that in front of me.
-
I'm going to use it to keep my mind where I'm going to be, in position.
-
I'm not going to get moved out of position by what I can see and smell and touch and taste and reading the newspaper and experience and persecution Less than persecution is going to increase.
-
We might be a target here, I don't know I say bring it on.
-
We've got a really great covenant partner, our heavenly Father.
-
So I don't know who you're in hoots with, but I know who I'm in hoots with.
-
I mean, they threatened a lot of things that they couldn't pull off.
-
Now that we've lost that county government to Democrats, you know they may try a few things.
-
I don't know, we'll see.
-
We'll see how it all works out.
-
Anybody afraid in here?
-
All right.
-
And so you know, how do we add to the numbers?
-
Well, god, that's God's part.
-
You know you can't get anybody saved.
-
You can give them the message.
-
And then the other part of numbers is asleep.
-
Some people are saved in asleep, and I've been saying this awhile.
-
Say it again this morning the difference between somebody that doesn't have the Lord and is not saved and a Christian that's asleep, they're both basically dead.
-
To anything useful Doesn't matter.
-
If somebody's dead, they're dead, okay.
-
And then you can't use them to use.
-
They can't give them a broom and say, hey, sweep the house Now.
-
They're not gonna get up and sweep the house, right, Because they're dead.
-
Well, what about a sleepy part?
-
Well, you gotta wake them up to be of any use.
-
While they're asleep they're of no use.
-
Well, what if we get all the sleeping Christians awake?
-
That alone is gonna add to the numbers that we need to take back some of the territory that we've ceded to the devil.
-
Well, how do you know?
-
I don't know anything.
-
I just know what God told me.
-
He told me to wake up the church almost 23 years ago, and it took me a long time to understand what he was talking about.
-
But, boy, I understand.
-
Now I do understand, and so we're gonna keep doing what we're doing.
-
We're gonna preach the word.
-
We're gonna give people a pattern of behavior, how they ought to behave.
-
And when people take our my God vote, we had churches that took my God vote sign and took it out of their yard.
-
Oh, we can't have that in our yard.
-
We can have all these political sign, but not my God votes.
-
Oh no, you're shit Nuts.
-
So as long as we've got pastors and churches like that, there's still a lot of work to either wake people up or get them saved.
-
Whichever it is, I don't know what it is right there, I'm not sure.
-
So God has a promise of multiplication, so we can have hope that he's gonna do his part.
-
Hadn't he always been faithful?
-
He's not a God that can lie to the son of man that he should repent.
-
If he said it, he'll do it.
-
If he spoke it, he'll make it good.
-
That's all I need to know.
-
I'm gonna go out there on the basis of that.
-
I'm gonna devote resources to these things.
-
What's a resource?
-
I like to tell people what our resources are.
-
It's not just money.
-
Money's a resource, but it's not the only resource People and time.
-
So when we're looking at any project that we're getting ready to have whether it's a fellowship or a celebration or a special meeting or whatever it is there's always three resources we have to consider people, time and money, and God.
-
This is God's business.
-
He expects us to make sure we have an ROI.
-
You know what that is?
-
A return on investment.
-
There ought to be a reason for us to dedicate resources to anything we do, and if we waste the resources, I'll have to stand before God giving account.
-
Well, you wasted that resource.
-
You just spent all that resource.
-
Sometimes it's people, sometimes it's time.
-
You know, we've had projects that just burned our staff almost up with the kind of people and time.
-
It wasn't that much money, but the people and the time was just way off the chart.
-
So we've had to learn to evaluate these things and say you know, did we get any bang for the buck out of that?
-
And when we didn't, we say we're not gonna do that anymore.
-
Well, so and so said it would be a good idea.
-
Well, let so and so come down here and do it then, because when we have to do it it just takes time away from all the other things that we have.
-
Excuse me now.
-
So when we get into the politics, and how much people, time and money, the resources this church has put out there, I'm not backing off.
-
I'm not using the election results as the ROI.
-
I'm using the opportunity we have to preach the gospel where it hadn't been preached very much, to have influence in the places where the church just didn't have any influence to speak of.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Glory to God.
-
A lot of good got done.
-
So let's not just focus on what looks like a failure.
-
It's not over yet.
-
God's not through yet.
-
We're just kind of getting started really.
-
I mean, just in the last few years have we seen this growing amount of prominence?
-
You know, god gave us three words.
-
You know, right before the COVID thing happened.
-
He gave us perspective, power and prominence.
-
I'm giving you God's perspective this morning so we can maintain the power that he gave us.
-
Well, it didn't look like we had any power.
-
He didn't look at the well, that's not the measure of, that's not the measure of anything.
-
Let's.
-
We don't even know what good has happened.
-
We haven't even heard, we haven't got a report.
-
God, heaven, has the report of what whose lives were changed when people woke up.
-
You know, I could get James up here.
-
I get any of you that walked the blocks, any of you that worked hard in the campaigns of somebody else or you gave money into the campaigns and so forth and so forth, tempted to think, oh, it's just a waste.
-
No, it's not a waste.
-
I'm here to tell you it's not a waste.
-
We're not backing off, not one bit, because our influence was there.
-
The prominence is there.
-
We have their ear and they're afraid of us.
-
The Sandinista is afraid of us.
-
I mean Lena, excuse me, lena, I know, but I call her Lena.
-
I know people call Beto.
-
I call him Beto.
-
Aren't you glad we're through with him?
-
Maybe he'll go find a basement to shut himself in.
-
There are a few people we got rid of praise the Lord.
-
So we need more people saved, we need more Christians awake, and that'll give us some numbers to give us a better result next time.
-
Come on, let's lift our hands right now and see if we do our job, god will do His.
-
I mean, if we'll trust Him, he'll do the multiplying he said I will add to my church daily, such as should be said.
-
He didn't say you're gonna do it by your programs, your secret, sensitive model, by the way.
-
That was a big failure and that guy admitted it was.
-
Let's be comforted by the hope that God will fulfill His Word.
-
We don't have to get Him in a mood to do it.
-
He said He'd do it.
-
He swore amen, he can't lie.
-
He promised multiplication.
-
He promised that's enough for me.
-
I know there's coming a great revival.
-
I know I wanna be in position to be in middle of that.
-
I wanna be in position.
-
I don't wanna be off.
-
You know here, off base, I guess you know.
-
Is there anything you're afraid of, pastor?
-
I don't know if afraid is the right word.
-
I would say the fear of God.
-
One of the things that I think about a lot sometimes when I go to bed, sometimes when I wake up is I think about if the church doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
-
See, there again, you can't.
-
You don't really have any ground for the timing.
-
Faith is a seed, but when I read about Israel and right now I'm in, you know, reading in Jeremiah they persecuted Jeremiah.
-
They didn't wanna hear what Jeremiah had to say.
-
He rose up early and told them the truth.
-
They didn't wanna hear the truth.
-
He told them you're gonna lose Jerusalem.
-
You know you're fixed to be carried away captive.
-
Now, just go along with it.
-
You're gonna be there 70 years.
-
Just go along with it.
-
I'll bless you there.
-
Go ahead and have babies.
-
Go ahead.
-
And you know, have a business.
-
Go ahead, do your business over there.
-
But if you try to escape, if you try to go somewhere else, I'll give you to the birds of the air.
-
I'll give you to the beasts of the field.
-
I'll smite you in the desert.
-
I'll smite you wherever you go, I'll smite you.
-
I'll follow you, I'll smite you.
-
This is his promise.
-
Children of promise, these are the ones that had the promised land, you know, when they rose up and believed the report of the 10 spies.
-
They're on their way to the promised land way back before, you know, with Moses, the 10 spies said we be not able.
-
There's just too many Democrats and they just know how to cheat.
-
They just know how to cheat.
-
We can't do anything about it, we're gonna die.
-
The 10 spies died right there, on the spot, and the rest of everybody, 20 years of age and older, didn't get to go into the promised land.
-
They died in the wilderness over a 40 year span.
-
And so if there is any fear, I call it the fear of God, not fear.
-
But the fear of God is that he'll just push pause and we will not be the ones to see Jesus come back.
-
He'll bring it around in another generation.
-
And I don't know about you Well, I do know about you you don't want that to happen, do you?
-
Have we gone through so much that we just we come right up to the precipice, we come right up to the edge when you know, I just don't think everything has just got to be just like we think it's gonna be.
-
God is still God.
-
He can push pause.
-
I don't want him to push pause.
-
I wanna be obedient to his spirit.
-
I wanna do exactly what he tells me to do, no matter whether it makes any sense up here or not.
-
He told us he's gonna multiply things.
-
I wanna be in that generation where the multiplication happens.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So if I have a fear, I guess that's the fear I have, that somehow my efforts to wake up the church fall short.
-
That means I'm gonna have to just put it in another gear.
-
So far it hasn't been very well received.
-
If I just went on the natural, well, you know, it's just not something they're used to hearing.
-
So we're gonna keep saying it, we're gonna keep modeling it, we're gonna keep being an example.
-
We're gonna keep doing.
-
We're not the only ones.
-
I'm not deluded.
-
I know there's other good churches out there that are doing a lot of things similar to what we're doing.
-
But we have to keep doing them.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Glory to God.
-
So our job is to believe and to speak and then act like what he told us is the truth.
-
That's the bottom line.
-
So if I could say anything today is receive that hope of multiplication.
-
You know it's not over.
-
Yeah, this was a disappointment.
-
It's always disappointing to see your country go the wrong direction, especially your city, and your city has been going the wrong direction for a long time, but the county is recent and for I wouldn't expect, I'll be honest, I was not expecting that, but it's a commentary on how this whole area has grown.
-
And the number of people that have come are not Christians, they're immigrants, in many cases illegal immigrants.
-
They come from every corner and not just when I say immigrants, everybody thinks Mexico or no.
-
I'm talking about all over the world.
-
We've got all kinds of people coming across that border, millions of the millions, and most of them voted.
-
I said most of them voted.
-
They got a pulse, they got a blood pressure, they voted.
-
They don't have an ID, but they voted, and so you know.
-
When you have that, you know it's different than America.
-
Oh, america's a melting pot?
-
Well, yeah, but it was mostly a melting pot of Christians.
-
It wasn't until 1936, that we started importing other religions into the country.
-
Mostly it was the Judeo-Christian religion, catholics, you know, people from Europe, western Europe.
-
Well, that's white privilege.
-
No, it's just what we had to begin with.
-
We had Christianity and Judaism.
-
Not about black and white, it's about one nation under God.
-
And who is that God?
-
God of Abraham, isaac and Jacob and the Father of our Lord, jesus Christ and all other gods are false.
-
When are you gonna?
-
You gotta understand that it's not right.
-
We shouldn't say, well, we have to keep, we have to stay that more than more and more it's not the same God that we worship.
-
They don't worship God, they worship a false one.
-
I'm not saying they don't have the right to do it.
-
I'm just saying, though, when we make it equal, we're hurting ourselves.
-
So we have to receive the hope that he's gonna multiply.
-
We've got a ripe harvest out there to get saved.
-
Let's go into that ripe harvest and get them saved.
-
Let's get the Muslims saved.
-
Let's get the Africans saved.
-
Let's get all of them saved.
-
Let's get the Haitians saved.
-
Let's get all the ones that are coming.
-
Let's get the Colombians saved.
-
Let's get the Venezuelans saved.
-
Let's get them all saved, and we can increase the numbers that way.
-
When I say get them saved, I mean give them the gospel.
-
You get some people healed.
-
I'll tell you they'll believe.
-
Receive that hope, resist having a victim mentality.
-
Rejoice.
-
Your name is written in heaven.
-
You know.
-
You can always rejoice at your saved amen when it gets right down to it, when you feel sad, when you feel mad, when you feel frustrated.
-
Like all the emotions I felt this week and we'll have those emotions, but you know, we don't have to be led by them, we don't have to obey them, we don't have to let our emotions control us.
-
We can rise above it, receive the hope, resist being a victim and rejoice that our name is enrolled in heaven.
-
Amen, hope, the anchor of your soul.
-
Come on, lift your hands and receive that hope today.
-
Hallelujah.
-
How many of you encourage now, Amen?
-
How many of you are gonna take this and encourage others?
-
How many of you know people that are just so down in the mullig rubs they're so distra-.
-
Listen.
-
How many of you are gonna go and encourage them?
-
Amen.
-
Come on, let's lift our hands right now.
-
Hallelujah.
