  1. Let's all stand together, pick our Bibles up, wave them around them, bring you a message tonight.

  2. Part two Victory Highway.

  3. Everybody say Victory Highway, Victory Highway.

  4. Let's wave our Bibles around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.

  5. Let's say this together say heavenly Father, thank you for what you've done tonight In your presence is fullness of joy.

  6. At your right hand, where I'm seated in Christ, there are pleasures, pleasures, pleasures forevermore.

  7. And I receive this word tonight with pleasure and I intend to be a doer of the word, not just a hearer.

  8. In Jesus' name, amen.

  9. First Corinthians, chapter 10, and preached this last Sunday morning and wanted to give you a follow up on Victory Highway.

    1 Corinthians 10 chapter mention

  10. Let's look at verse 13, paul writing to the Corinthian church, and he said there hath no temptation.

  11. And of course that word temptation, it means temptations, tests and trials.

  12. It's not just temptation to sin, it means that, but it means other things.

  13. It means tests and trials, circumstances contrary circumstances.

  14. There's no temptation, test or trial taking you, but such as common demand.

  15. But God is faithful, who will not suffer or allow you to be tempted, tested or tried above that you're able, but will, with the temptation, test or trial, also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear.

  16. It.

  17. Amplified says bear up under it.

  18. Why would you have to bear up under it?

  19. Well, because until it's over with, you're gonna have to bear.

  20. I mean, you know you've gotta carry it down the road of ways and you need God's help to do that.

  21. And he does supply that strength and that grace and that ability to do it until you get on the other side of that trial or temptation or test.

  22. I like the passion it says.

  23. It leads you in a way that leads to victory, a victorious way.

  24. That's where I get victory highway.

  25. It's victory.

  26. It's not a highway to cease fire.

  27. It's not a highway to a peace treaty with the devil, a way to cope, cope.

  28. You know a highway to coping skills.

  29. I'm gonna cope with this demonic attack.

  30. No, we're gonna get rid of it.

  31. So, victory highway, praise God.

  32. So you know, years ago God just reminded me.

  33. I think it was about time we moved in this building.

  34. You know, teach what you take for granted.

  35. You know I went through a phase.

  36. You know, after you've been in the ministry a number of years, you just think you've gotta come up with something brand new every week and have some different thing.

  37. No, people need the word.

  38. They need it over and over again.

  39. I got it to deliver fear of repetition.

  40. And so teach what you take for granted.

  41. And so sometimes the message is new to some people because we have, you know, people that had just gotten here.

  42. They may not have heard this type of teaching before.

  43. We have other people that may have let it slip.

  44. They need to be reminded of what the Bible says about these things.

  45. So in John 16, 33, jesus said in the world you shall have tribulation, and the word tribulation and temptation mean just about the same thing.

  46. They're a different Greek word, but they mean about the same thing Means trouble, anguish, you know.

  47. So he said in the world, you're gonna have it, but be of good cheer, be of good courage.

  48. I have overcome the world so that we can overcome the world.

  49. What he did, he did for us.

  50. And so when you're facing things, you've got to have courage, you got to stir yourself up, not to be afraid, not to be, not to faint at the sight of this temptation, test or trial.

  51. And one thing that's helped me is to realize and I'm gonna read this verse that the devil is limited to things common to man.

  52. Or I could say it this way the devil is limited to our five senses.

  53. He cannot attack anything except around the five senses.

  54. But the weapons of our warfare are not of the five senses.

  55. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they are mighty through God.

  56. We have the name of Jesus, we have the blood of Jesus, we have a covenant with God and we have his faithfulness.

  57. He is faithful so you can focus on if something shows up.

  58. You know God is faithful.

  59. He's got the way of escape already built.

  60. He doesn't have to build it like 6'10 loop.

  61. They've been building on the 6'10 loop.

  62. I talked about that last Sunday.

  63. I'm old and I remember when there wasn't no golf freeway.

  64. I mean you'd go out the golf freeway and it ended at golf gate and that was it.

  65. Then you got a pig trail all the way to go to Galveston.

  66. If you went to Galveston you had to pack a lunch.

  67. It took a long time to get there and then it was obsolete as soon as they built it.

  68. It was too small the story of their life around here.

  69. So no, god's already got it constructed, that way of escape, and I mentioned a lot of times people misquote that verse.

  70. They don't know any verses, but they misquote this one.

  71. You know God won't put on me anymore and I can bear.

  72. Well, god didn't put it on you, amen.

  73. If you can remember anything about this message, realize it's not God that sent the temptation test trial, but he won't waste it.

  74. He'll turn it into your benefit.

  75. At the same time he's gonna make a way for you to escape it.

  76. So when we go through things we're not alone.

  77. Let's look, maybe hold your place there.

  78. And go back to Hebrews 13.

  79. I don't remember if I mentioned this verse or not.

  80. It really helps help me over the years.

  81. Hebrews 13.5, the second part of that verse.

  82. It says for he had said I will never leave thee nor forsake thee, so that we might boldly say the Lord is my helper, I'll not fear what man will do unto me, I'll not fear.

  83. A lot of times temptation test or trials comes with a dread, comes with a fear, comes with an associate emotional response on our part.

  84. And one thing to realize is that you're not by yourself.

  85. God said I will never leave you nor forsake you.

  86. I will not, I will not, I will not am amplified.

  87. I mean he's emphatic.

  88. You're not going through it by yourself.

  89. He's right there with you to give you the grace to bear up under this thing until what, until you get on the other side of it.

  90. And you do need his grace, don't you?

  91. But grace is accessed by faith, right?

  92. This grace wherein we stand.

  93. Romans, chapter five, says so.

  94. He'll give you power to hold up during the trials.

  95. He provides the way of escape.

  96. That's a victory highway.

  97. So we had three things God's bigger than your trouble.

  98. Good to remember that he's bigger than your trouble.

  99. Number two the Lord is your helper.

  100. Number two receive God's ability to help you.

  101. You know you still need his help.

  102. And then, number three stay on victory highway.

  103. After you get on it, stay on it, don't take an exit off of it until you vanquish, thoroughly vanquish, the devil, and you're totally vindicated from all trouble.

  104. You don't just settle, don't settle for partial victory, don't settle for a little bit, don't settle for, you know, a relief of the immediate.

  105. Okay, I can at least breathe now.

  106. I'm still believing for the rest of these symptoms to leave.

  107. But I can at least go back to work now.

  108. I don't have to be in bed now.

  109. I'm still kind of halfway.

  110. No, no, let's keep on victory highway till we have total victory.

  111. All right.

  112. So tonight it kind of begs the question Well, yeah, I believe all that, but I've got to find the highway.

  113. I got to find the victory highway.

  114. I got to find the victory highway, see, because it's not always what you're gonna do about this circumstance is not always evident.

  115. You don't know what you're gonna do.

  116. You've got to find victory highway.

  117. I said you've got to find victory highway.

  118. I mean, if you ever gone to Dallas on I-10, you're not gonna get to Dallas on I-10.

  119. You're gonna get to San Antonio, or you might get to, you know, lake Charles, but you ain't gonna get to Dallas on I-10, right?

  120. So if you just kind of just hurry up and pick some kind of pathway that you think it's God's pathway to victory, well then you know, hey, you might not wind up where you need to go.

  121. I've done that myself.

  122. I have reason, I can say that.

  123. So it's good to not be in a hurry.

  124. You know when trouble comes, but don't react, but respond.

  125. A reaction is like, you know, the rattlesnake starts rattling and I always react.

  126. I can never respond because it's just.

  127. You know, it's built in.

  128. I'm gonna start going like I'm gonna start moving.

  129. Man, my legs are gonna go flailing and I'm gonna be.

  130. I'll go somewhere.

  131. It might be the wrong direction, but I'm gonna go somewhere when the rattlesnake is rattling and that's reacting, see, but responding is what Christians do by faith.

  132. So finding the victory highway.

  133. You know, many prayers that we pray are motivated by fear instead of faith, especially when something hits us some trouble, some report, you know, a letter from the IRS.

  134. How many of you know they're not usually congratulating you on your quality of your, your promptness of paying your taxes.

  135. It's usually try.

  136. They want to know something about your tax return.

  137. They want you to prove it to them, blah, blah, blah.

  138. So, and many folks in my experience, many folks just feel better when they have lots of people praying for them.

  139. Their faith is in the number of people they can get to pray.

  140. They'll call on the prayer lines of every television preacher.

  141. They'll call the prayer lines of the Christian Radio stations.

  142. They'll, you know, they, they call, they call.

  143. They get on Facebook.

  144. I pray, oh, pray for me.

  145. And they got you know.

  146. By the way, I've got 15,000 followers, just broke through 15,000 the other night followers on my Facebook page.

  147. Thank you all for being involved.

  148. Hallelujah, that's pretty amazing to me.

  149. I just go wow God, where are they anyway?

  150. So, so, really, what happens next depends on what happens right now.

  151. What you do in the moment is really important.

  152. What you do, right when you hear this evil report, or what, right when you hear or see, see again, it's something that you can encounter with your five senses, right?

  153. That's the only the only way the devil can attack you is in your five senses.

  154. So your five senses are going to be tempted to react and they're gonna want to get your mouth moving in the wrong direction.

  155. So I just recommend you take a deep breath and don't throw up any nervous prayers and don't start, you know, begging God, no, god, what am I gonna do?

  156. And all that kind of stuff, and let and tip your hand to the devil that he's already got you Buffalo.

  157. Well, Devil, this, this has come from you and I'm gonna tell you something right now.

  158. I'm gonna make it through this.

  159. I'm gonna make it through you, I'm gonna make it over you, I'm gonna make it under you, I'm gonna make it around you.

  160. But I'm telling you right now, to begin with, I'm gonna get on the other side of this devil.

  161. You might as well know it.

  162. Say that's what you say, instead of start praying a bunch of nervous prayers and A bunch of silly silliness, you know and calling everybody on the telephone to tell them about your situation.

  163. It's not about everybody knowing about your situation, it's about you Finding victory highway.

  164. And you don't have to find it instantly, because usually it's not hidden from you, it's hidden what for you?

  165. I Said it's hidden for you.

  166. So, uh, it's a unique path that God has Provided for you that will give you ultimate victory.

  167. It may not be an instant, may not be tomorrow at noon, it may take a while to get down that path, but it results in total Vanquishing of the enemy.

  168. Is not what you really want.

  169. Make him pay, make him think twice.

  170. I mean you know he's.

  171. I tell you the devil doesn't just quit.

  172. I mean he's gonna come back at you.

  173. But make him pay when he does.

  174. Hey, men.

  175. And so I tell people, just draw near to God Through the word and through prayer and the Holy Ghost.

  176. You can ask yourself now you know, what does God's word say about this circumstance?

  177. Just calmly, and what does God's word say about it?

  178. And it might take you a little while.

  179. When you first start out, you might not know exactly where certain verses are.

  180. But I mean, if you're sensitive, the Holy Ghost, he can even speak to you a scripture.

  181. Well, that's good to have that and and and.

  182. You can answer this attack.

  183. Begin to answer it with faith and the word.

  184. But you already said some things.

  185. Hopefully I'm gonna make it around you, I'm gonna make it under you, I'm gonna make it over.

  186. I'm getting on the other side.

  187. They see, you're gonna let him know what's gonna happen in from the beginning.

  188. You're saying that by faith.

  189. You don't know yet what the pathway is.

  190. It's not important for you to know just yet.

  191. Just be patient.

  192. Don't get in a hurry to go the wrong direction.

  193. Don't go in a hurry and start reacting when you ought to respond.

  194. You've already responded by faith.

  195. Is this helping you now?

  196. All right.

  197. So Finding victory highway that's what we're talking about tonight.

  198. Finding it, actually finding and getting on victory highway.

  199. It's real important for you to get on that road, get on that path, because God provided it.

  200. It's a way to escape.

  201. He provided it.

  202. So now we got, get on it.

  203. It's on our part, it's our part to find it.

  204. It's not hidden from you.

  205. It's hidden for you.

  206. It's not always evident.

  207. So let's look here at Psalm 77.

  208. One of my best examples of this is Israel.

  209. At the Red Sea, I Mean, you know, here they'd come out with silver and gold, not one feeble among their tribes.

  210. They came out victorious.

  211. Talked about that this morning.

  212. Talked about how, what nation is there that God delivered them with signs and wonders and war and great terror you talk about victorious.

  213. They spoiled the Egyptians, took their golden silver, grandma's China grandma's silver set.

  214. They spoiled it.

  215. They paid them to get out of town.

  216. They paid them oh, you get out of here.

  217. We're tired of all these terces.

  218. They had 10 curses.

  219. They had the frogs.

  220. They had the lice, they had the blood and the water.

  221. They had lightning bolts killing their cattle.

  222. They had all these things.

  223. They were terrorized.

  224. God terrorized the Egyptians.

  225. He'll terrorize these demons that are afflicting you too.

  226. And so Psalm 77, verse 19,.

    Psalms 77:19

  227. Thy way is in the sea and thy path in the great waters and thy footsteps are not known.

  228. Thou letst thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

  229. So that's talking about the Red Sea.

  230. When Egypt pursued, pharaoh pursued them, he had second thoughts.

  231. When they left Dodge, he left town.

  232. He decided I'm gonna catch up with them.

  233. I won't kill them all.

  234. I'm so mad at them.

  235. My firstborn son is dead.

  236. All these other people are mad at me.

  237. They're probably gonna kill me.

  238. Can you imagine the anger that was in Egypt?

  239. They all blame Pharaoh.

  240. I think a lot of people are blaming Putin right now, but anyway, so he went after them.

  241. And.

  242. But God led the children of Israel by the pillar of fire by night and the cloud by day, right to the banks of the Red Sea.

  243. I mean, that was his pathway.

  244. For them it was not evident.

  245. They came up and here comes Pharaoh right behind them, and they all start wailing and weeping and crying all night long, including Moses.

  246. He didn't have any more faith than the rest of them.

  247. Read it Exodus 14.

  248. God said get up from there, stop your crying, acting like that.

  249. Tell my people to go forward, go forward.

  250. Do you have some water wings?

  251. I mean we can't go forward in the sea.

  252. They couldn't see the path.

  253. They had no idea.

  254. There was no precedent for this, you know.

  255. You know.

  256. He said stretch out your rod.

  257. And Moses stretched out his rod.

  258. See, we have the name of Jesus.

  259. This is a greater rod than Moses had.

  260. That's a mighty name.

  261. It's a name above every name, that all the Word of God is contained in the name of Jesus.

  262. When you can't quite think of a scripture to answer the attack, you can use the name of Jesus till you get one.

  263. You don't have to feel like you're under such pressure.

  264. I mean, you use that name, devil, in the name of Jesus.

  265. I'm getting through this.

  266. I'm gonna get on the other side, just want you to know where I'm at.

  267. On it, I win and you lose.

  268. See, start talking like that.

  269. Quit being intimidated by demons, amen.

  270. So his way is not hidden from them, it was hidden for them.

  271. And so the next morning, you know, all night long that pillar of fire moved between them and the army of Pharaoh and it was light and comfort all night to Israel and it was dread and fear to them.

  272. I mean, they were afraid of that fire.

  273. They knew it was God.

  274. They'd already been acquainted with God.

  275. They didn't have a real positive experience.

  276. They didn't have a positive experience.

  277. Landry's wants you to have a positive experience when you eat their crawfish.

  278. All right, so see.

  279. So then the next morning they start going down on dry ground, they cross in the Red Sea on dry ground and they had to keep going.

  280. See, what if they had just stopped in the middle?

  281. No, they had to keep going.

  282. The water's piled up on either side.

  283. The water's supernaturally piled, see.

  284. They're attacked by the five senses, they're attacked in the natural, but God's deliverance was supernatural.

  285. The rod which stands for Jesus' name is supernatural, supernatural.

  286. And so then God told them see, they obeyed God.

  287. Okay, go cross over, cross over.

  288. So they started going, they started going forward, they went down in there and they were walked across.

  289. No mud, no slop.

  290. That's just crazy.

  291. How did that happen?

  292. It's supernatural.

  293. How many of you believe that God can get you through this situation and get you on the other side of it With victory?

  294. See, it looks terrible, it looks impossible, but it's not.

  295. So you just go.

  296. And so then the devil See, god knew what was going to happen.

  297. He already said what was going to happen.

  298. He said I'm going to get me honor on Pharaoh.

  299. I'm going to get me some honor on him, so y'all go this way.

  300. And he knew what Pharaoh was going to do.

  301. Pharaoh's going to do what they did.

  302. He's going to follow them down that trail and follow them on that escape route that was designed only for the children of Israel was not for Pharaoh, it didn't belong to him.

  303. He's trespassing on God's property.

  304. So when they get onto the other side, here comes Pharaoh and God looked out through the glory.

  305. God looked out and he despised Pharaoh in his army.

  306. He despised them and angels were sent to knock off their chariot wheels and they started slowing down.

  307. They weren't making much progress now and about the time they all got in there over their heads, god said, ok, moses, stretch out your rod and the waters covered Pharaoh's army.

  308. And that was the end of Pharaoh in his army.

  309. And God, see, you've got to think.

  310. You know part of your testimony is going to honor God.

  311. God gets honor.

  312. Every time you crush the devil's head under your feet, every time you beat him at his game, god gets honor.

  313. Do you want honor and glory and power?

  314. We pray that all the time.

  315. Well, let's demonstrate it.

  316. 2023 is the year we're going to have more and more of that.

  317. I said 2023 is more and more demonstration of the utter bankruptcy of the devil's power.

  318. Does he have power?

  319. Yes, but we've got greater power.

  320. So they pass through.

  321. Number two they understand his ways, not from you, it's heading for you.

  322. And number two, that they were led by the cloud, the Holy Ghost led by the cloud, and they responded to his word.

  323. He said talk to my people, tell them to go forward.

  324. So, god, you can expect God to show you this way of escape.

  325. He's going to show it to you while you draw near to him in prayer spray, in the Holy Ghost.

  326. You might not know anything for a while.

  327. Don't be panic, don't worry about it, don't let, don't come under pressure.

  328. Don't let the devil pressure you.

  329. There's always a time clock.

  330. There's always some kind of deadline that you've got to meet.

  331. Don't be intimidated by that.

  332. God can move that too.

  333. More important than reacting is responding, and you can respond every minute of the day until you absolutely know what actual pathway you find.

  334. You find it eventually.

  335. You'll find it.

  336. If you wait on God, you'll find it.

  337. The important thing is not to get on I-10 when you need to get on I-45.

  338. I mean, is that kind of it's?

  339. Basically, I mean, you can take the wrong path.

  340. What, what, what?

  341. That?

  342. Well, that's walking in the flesh.

  343. You get, you start, you start panicking.

  344. You look at the clock or the calendar oh, my God, I've got to.

  345. Oh, oh, I've got to do something.

  346. Yeah, don't do it.

  347. Don't do it.

  348. Let God lead you, he will.

  349. He said I'll never leave you for nor forsake you.

  350. Yeah, I will not, I will not.

  351. I will not so that we can what Barely say no, boldly say the Lord is my helper.

  352. I don't not fear what man will do unto me.

  353. I don't care about this clock, I don't care about this deadline.

  354. Devil killing God, sending unarmed people for choppy debt.

  355. Learn to holler at the devil.

  356. Maybe let your spouse know before you do All right, and then, as you pray in the Holy Ghost, read your Bible.

  357. Somehow, it's supernatural, I mean you just finally, you mind becomes aware of what your spirit knows.

  358. It's not a voice necessarily, it's seldom a voice, it's mostly.

  359. It's just a knowing.

  360. A knowing comes up in your mind and you certainly just suddenly you know what to do about the situation.

  361. You know what, what to do, you know which way to go.

  362. So obey your inward man.

  363. They don't don't.

  364. Nine years ago I had a circumstance arose.

  365. It was pretty serious and I mean it looked really bad for my business and instead of doing what I'm preaching here tonight, I started asking everybody else what I ought to do.

  366. That's Dumsville, and I met a man that I had great respect for he's.
