The Believer's Authority 1

Let's reach down and pick up our Bibles and let's wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.

Let's say this together Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today.

I know people are celebrating Go Texas, but I'm in the Go Believers Club.

I'm going into all the world to tell the people about my wonderful Jesus, what he's done for me and who he is.

We thank you this morning for the Word of God.

Holy Ghost, shine your light on it.

It's food for our faith, nourishment for my spirit.

In Jesus' name, you can be seated, thank you.

Junior High can be dismissed.

Some of them have already hit those doors.

They know without me saying so.

I usually forget how many of you know our Junior High gets there.

They get taught while we're in here.

All right, let's look at Genesis, chapter one, and also Matthew 28 today, all the way back to the book of beginnings, genesis one.

You know, when I was a Catholic boy I tried to read the Bible.

I started in Genesis.

I liked it, exodus Boy but when I got to Leviticus I was in deep trouble.

I said, maybe I don't need to read the Bible, All right.

Well, it wasn't written for me.

I was lost.

I, just a Catholic boy hadn't been born again, so it didn't relate.

But, boy, once I got saved and I was taught how to read the Bible, what to read first.

You know what I did when I got saved?

I read the Gospel of John 10 times in a row.

I started in the Gospel of John I mean, that's in the middle of the Bible.

Why'd you do?

Well, because my pastor told me that's what I ought to do.

I'm a Catholic man.

Read the Gospel of John 10 times before you try to do anything.

And what did I see?

I saw Jesus.

I saw what he did while he was walking the shores of Galilee.

Oh, my miracle, working Jesus.

Anyway, all right, you find Genesis, chapter one, all right, book of beginnings.

Let's look at verse 26.

God said let us make man in our image.

Well, who is that?

Well, god, the Father, god the Son, god, the Holy Ghost, thriom being.

We're triom beings, spirits, soul and body.

Let's make a man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion.

Everybody shout dominion.

Over what?

Over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Man had dominion over creeps, still does so.

God created in his own image.

He created man in his own image, and the image of God created him male and female.

Created he them Doofus?

All right, so he created you all like the living Bible.

He said.

Let's make a man just like us and let us make the masters of all of life, masters of all of life, living Bible.

All right.

And let's turn back over here to Matthew 28.

Jesus is speaking to the disciples right before he is ascended into heaven, and he said in verse 16,.

Then the 11 disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them, and when they saw him, they worshiped him.

But some doubted.

This is after the resurrection.

Some doubted.

I mean, we're going to have people that doubt what we're saying.

They're going to doubt us, or some of them are going to be our own families.

We shouldn't be so surprised and shocked.

And Jesus came and spoke unto them and saying you're fired, I'm giving up on you, I've just had enough of you people.

No, he spoke unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

That word power there is the Greek word exusea, which means authority, all authority in heaven and earth is given unto me.

Well, of course he's the son of God.

No, he didn't have that.

As the son of man he didn't have all authority.

But after the resurrection of the dead he had all authority.

We'll talk about that in a moment.

Why that is?

A lot of people attribute everything that Jesus did on the earth because he's the son of God.

No, he didn't operate as the son of God.

He was the son of God, is the son of God, always has been the son of God.

But he administered as a man in the order of God.

But now he said all authority is given unto me in heaven and earth.

And so then he said go ye, therefore, delegated that authority.

And what's the context of our authority?

Go ye, where to go?

Go ye, therefore, and teach.

My margin says make disciples of all nations.

You know this church.

I get criticized that we don't have any altar calls, much for salvation.

Well, that's not the job of this church to get people saved.

I know brother Osteen did that.

I mean he had an altar call.

Well, he was Baptist.

I mean, you know, I mean he was so Baptist but he had the Holy Ghost.

Now, I'm not saying that, but I mean he just.

I mean he had altar call every week, every service.

It didn't matter what he was preaching.

He'd preach on giving I was there 32 messages in a row on giving and receiving, on finances 32 messages in a row Sunday morning, sunday night, wednesday night.

That's 10 weeks plus.

And people got saved every service.

He didn't preach in a evangelistic message, he didn't preach on the don't do's, he just preached what the Holy Ghost put in his heart to preach, including this message right, I'm preaching in this morning.

And people got saved, but they never showed back up.

See, I learned a little bit about being there for 15 years.

I saw hundreds and well, really thousands of people.

Thousands of people came to the altar and I'm sitting up there on the platform for eight of those years had the honor of closing services and opening services and prayer.

I saw right firsthand people weeping.

Some people just had a stone face.

You had all kinds of people up there.

Most of them didn't know really what they were doing up there.

They just came and then they never came back.

And that's Billy Graham, the same thing, and these big, you know, come, we'll wait on you when they'd come from the top of the football stadium and they're trailing down, hundreds and hundreds standing before him and they pray the prayer and they have all the stuff handed to them and they give their names to cooperating churches where he did his crusades and very low percentage ever came to anything, ever did anything after they prayed the prayer.

So are they say, well, I don't know, based on what they did, I can't say they were, because they didn't change anything.

So our job is not to get in this.

This church's job is not to go, not to get.

People say that's your job, it's you're the go, ye, you're the one that needs to go out and tell people what Jesus has done for you and get them saved.

And then you know, then bring them in here.

And what does our job?

Get them Discipled.

That's what Jesus said.

Great disciples of all ethnos, people, groups, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Teaching them, see, teaching, teaching, teaching.

Teaching them to what Observe all things that I have commanded thee.

Until we've done that, we haven't really discipled anybody and we haven't done what Jesus said to do.

A lot of people just want to have crusades.

They want to have a revival at a college.

Well, I'm all for a revival, I'm just, hey, I'm not criticizing revivals that you're reading about, but I am sitting waiting to see what happens next.

Is anybody going to really serve God after the revival?

Are they going to get scattered with no pastor, no church involved?

This is a college now.

They're not.

Their job description isn't conducive to discipleship.

Pastor you're no, I'm not criticizing.

I'm saying let's be careful, what we just get so excited about.

You know, I'm glad I'm not saying it wasn't God, but there's more work to be done.

They need to be harnessed.

They need to be captured and brought into the church and discipled and told what's right and wrong.

Audience member.

Together and man anas, there's just a whole lot of people roaming around in America especially that have had experiences with God and they're not saved.

They're going to hell.

It's your job, not mine your job, to go find them, talk to them, get them in church where they can be disciple.

Well, I wasn't even planning on saying all that.

Let me exalt, let me add that to my notes.

All right, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever.

I've commanded thee and lo.

I'm with you all way, even into the end of the world.

Which word world there means age, end of the age.

We're in the church age.

This age is the place where whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

But it's about to close the door.

The door is closing soon and there's going to come a day of the Gentiles being fulfilled.

Romans 10 says where the last Gentile person on the face of the earth is saved by grace through faith, and they say I'm calling on the name of the Lord today and I'm born again now.

That day there's going to be one believer and then boom, it's going to end.

Jesus is going to come and snatch the church away and we'll enter into another age.

Well, I tell you, we've got a lot of work to do between now and then.

All right, so I wanted to teach today on the believer's authority.

The believer's authority.

We have delegated power, we have delegated authority.

Jesus delegated to us his authority.

Our great God and Father has given man authority from the very beginning.

That's exactly what he gave Adam.

Adam had all authority.

He was the God, the original God of this age.

He was the God of this age.

That's when Adam was created.

He was the God of this age.

He was the God of this world, but bigger than this world.

And we say God of this world we think earth, but really his authority reached to the furthest reaches of the universe.

Everything was under his control.

I said everything.

He had total authority over everything.

It enumerates it.

It enumerates the different kingdoms, the animal kingdom, and that's blighted up into all the different ways of animals, different kinds of animals, and the plant kingdom and all of the resort, all of the earth and everything under the earth, all of the riches that were under the earth, all the gold, the silver, the lithium.

There's a lot of controversy about these electric cars and where all those batteries are gonna come from.

Right now it's China.

I don't know about you, but I don't wanna help out China.

I don't wanna get depended on China, all right, so, so, adam, when Adam say, the Bible says if you go back and read the book of beginnings, eve was deceived and the devil got her to eat of the tree.

That's the only not don't do, and all of what Adam had dominion over don't eat of the tree of the garden, in the garden of the tree of the knowledge of goodness.

Don't eat of that tree, but everything else is yours, everything.

And before he made Eve out of Adam's rib.

I mean, he's a pretty smart guy.

500,000 species of animals and they're looking for a suitable partner.

I preached this at every wedding that I've ever done.

I talk about this at weddings on my wedding service.

How close a woman is supposed to be to her man?

She's a rib.

She's closest to his heart, right by his side.

That's where a woman belongs with a man.

He made Eve out of his rib why?

Because they paraded 500,000 species of animals and Adam named them.

Read it for yourself.

It's in the Bible.

It's in the Bible.

You know, I can just picture myself as Adam sitting there.

Okay, ardvark, armadillo.

I mean, I'd run out after maybe a hundred names.

I mean, how could you make up that many and a half a million names?

Pretty smart guy.

But there wasn't one of them suitable for him.

I don't like any of these.

I don't wanna live with them.

All right, I got a better idea.

Let me put you to sleep.

Adam.

The man means ish, but the woman is ish aw, ish, aw, ah.

Well, it was the aw that snared him because he was so awed, awed and Eve, she sinned.

I mean, she did wrong by obeying the serpent and eating of the fruit and with eyes wide open, intentionally, he ate the fruit.

He was not deceived.

Are y'all with me now?

He committed high treason and he sinned against you and me.

He sinned against everybody that's died in judgment, all the people that died in the flood, all the people that died in Sodom and Gomorrah, all the people that have died and went to hell.

He sinned against all of them.

Y'all are looking at me funny, but I think we just don't understand Adam's sin.

We, yeah, he ate the fruit, but he did something worse than that.

He subjected himself to Satan and gave his authority to Satan, the enemy of God, the one who thought he was above God.

Isaiah 14, ezekiel 28,.

You ought to read those chapters and you'll find out about the devil's like and what he did.

How he fell.

He got lifted up in pride.

This was like spitting in God's face.

But besides that, he sinned against all of humanity all the way till now.

Think about when he figured out what he had done, how guilty he felt and how bad he felt every day of his life.

And guess what?

He lived 960 something years.

That was how much glory he walked in.

It took that long for his body to die.

Are y'all with me now?

You've got to understand this and understand where your authority comes from.

It was such massive authority.

It was what God had dreamed of.

He created man for fellowship with himself.

God can't fellowship with cows.

He can't fellowship, you know.

I think you know.

Jane Fonda thinks we can fellowship with dolphins and whales.

Well, let her go swim out there and do it Goofball.

We can't fellowship with them.

You know how big the brain is in a whale about this big.

They can't fellowship with you.

They can make noises and act like they're this, that and the other, but they're not.

Look, god wanted fellowship.

He wanted to be a father.

He's a father.

He wanted sons and daughters and Adam was that.

And then Adam turned his back and to think of what happened in creation when he did that.

So all evil is because of the fall.

We have all these animals We've got.

We've got animals all right, but they're domestic and then they're wild animals.

You ever try plowing a field with a zebra?

You'll find out that that ain't gonna happen.

You're gonna hook up a carriage to a rhino and try to get the rhinoceros to drag you down the road.

I mean, you're gonna have a whole.

First of all, you're not gonna be able to put the thing around his neck.

See, have you ever thought I mean, we got domestic animals that we could that really all the animal kingdom was to serve Adam and his descendants.

But now, because of the fall, we have all this.

You can't fellowship with a lion, you can kill them.

You ain't gonna fellowship with them.

Sigmund and Roy found that out in the tigers they try.

They got to thinking the tiger was their friend and then, mm.

Now they're never your friend, they're just one little thing away from killing you.

Why is that?

Because of the fall.

I want us to understand that what Adam lost, you're not gonna understand what you've gained if you don't understand what was lost in the original.

Are you getting this now?

All evil comes from the fall.

But God, say, had a plan of redemption.

I mean, he had it because God knew what was gonna happen before it happened.

Well then, why did he do all that?

Well, his aim is to have us to be able to fellowship with him, and he's got sons and daughters.

Right now, like right here in this room, that we can fellowship with God almighty, we can come boldly into his presence without fear, without shame, without guilt.

Why?

Because of the blood of Jesus that was shed one time, forever.

We don't have to gin it up, we don't have to work it up, we don't have to go into all of this, this bumbo jumbo of the religions of this world.

None of them have an answer to sin and they sacrifice their children and they do all kind of crazy things.

In India, where I've been quite a number of times, 300 million gods which God do they worship?

Which God?

There's a guy running for president.

This guy, he's a Hindu.

Talk about his faith in God.

Not our God.

It's not the God that we love.

He's a Hindu.

They're nuts.

Look at India.

Look at how they're ruling.

Hindus are hateful.

I mean, they kill the Christians and the Muslims.

In Hindus they mixed together like oil and water.

Anyhow, you want to mess in this country, elect somebody like that the president.

Bad enough to have Joe Biden, alright.

So Satan became the God of this age.

But God had a plan of redemption.

In Genesis 3.15, he says to the serpent Because you did this verse 14, you're cursed above all cattle.

So you're talking to the serpent.

The devil took on the form of one of the animals.

Evidently it was not crawling on the ground when it tempted Eve.

So that was the curse of the serpent.

Because you've done this, you're cursed above all.

Cattle bone, every beast of the field, and upon my belly shall you go and dust shall you eat all the days of your life.

So evidently he's upright, walking around.

The serpent was and tempted Eve and Adam.

Could he had authority, he could have banished Satan.

He could have.

I don't know if he could have killed him, I don't know.

But I know one thing he could have rebuked him and limited his power.

And he could have dealt with his wife at a you know, it's some form of fashion.

God could have figured out a way to forgive her because she was deceived.

She didn't do it willfully, she didn't do it on purpose.

Are you with me now?

And I this is God talking to the serpent I will put enmity between you and the woman, see, between the devil and women.

And so I'm telling you there's enmity.

The devil hates women.

He's always hated women.

Women get the bottom end of the pile every time it all lands on the woman.

It was the curse of the devil.

The devil hates women.

And then the reason he really hates them.

And I'll put enmity between thy seed and her seed, and it shall the.

What seed, her seed?

He starts talking about a seed of the woman.

Well, women don't have a seed.

They have an egg.

The seed comes from the man.

What are you talking about?

See, this was a mystery.

Nobody understood it.

The devil didn't understand it.

He went after women.

He tried to kill women.

He tried to make them barren.

He did that.

He tried to kill the offspring of the women.

He tried to inspire kings to kill the offspring of Jews, trying to get after the seed of the woman, whoever that is.

He didn't have an understanding.

He failed to kill Jesus.

He tried to kill Jesus when he was born, after he was born.

Are y'all with me?

Now he goes back to this plan of redemption and Jesus Three 15.

I will put in between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed.

It shall bruise thy head and thou shall bruise his heel.

What in the world bruises his head?

Well, bruises head means he will dominate you.

He will take the seed of the woman, is going to, going to take authority, exercise authority over you.

Satan, you might be the God of this age, but that one day the seed of the woman is going to show up and he's going to step on you and you're going to bruise his heel.

What does that mean?

The devil bruised Jesus heel at the cross.

The devil thought he had defeated Jesus.

The devil thought I got him where I want him.

I killed him.

He took him down into hell.

He afflicted him for three days and nights.

But then the Bible says Jesus spoiled principalities and powers.

The Bible says he led a train of vanquished foes.

I mean, he stripped off of himself those demons that had him surrounded in hell.

See, he had to suffer there because that's where we belong.

In order to take our punishment, to take our sin, he had to take the sin of the whole world, past, present and future.

That's when the devil bruised Jesus heel.

Jesus was bruised for our iniquities, but it only lasted three days and nights.

He was risen from the dead.

And when he was risen from the dead, god said this day have I begotten thee, and this is the day when he got all power in heaven and earth.

The Bible calls him the last Adam in 1 Corinthians, chapter 1545, the last Adam.

The first Adam failed.

The last Adam succeeded.

And who is the last Adam?

We are, we're in him.

You can't divide the last Adam from us, because we're one with Christ.

When we got saved, we got baptized into the last Adam.

Oh, hallelujah, where is your authority?

Where is your authority?

Come from, you're, heavenly Father?

Oh, glory to God.

We're not victims.

I hope you're getting this.

I trust that you are.

So.

Then, in Revelation 118, when Jesus appeared I just read this yesterday in my normal reading when he appeared to John, apostle John, on the Isle of Potomac, he appeared to him in his post resurrection form, just his hair white and beard white, his face glowing brighter than the sun, his face like burnished brass burned in the fire.

I mean, he was.

His eyes shown like fire.

And when John turned around to see the voice talking to him, he fell.

He said fear not, for I am he that liveth and was dead.

And behold, I'm alive forever, boy.

And guess what else?

I have the keys.

I have the keys of hell and death.

Keys stand for authority.

Are y'all with me now?

He said, I'm the alpha and the Omega, I'm the beginning and the ending.

Then who are we?

We're the same thing.

We've got to quit separating ourselves from Jesus.

We got to quit thinking of Jesus in terms different from ourselves, because we're one with him.

How are you going to ever get that?

You've got to not just know it in your brain, you've got to get a revelation.

That's why I'm preaching this, because faith comes by hearing, by the word of God, amen.

So Jesus took the keys of hell and death from Satan and then he delegated his authority to the believer.

Now you know the book of Mark.

Mark 16 · chapter mention

Chapter 16 talks about the same event that Matthew that we read.

But Mark has a different perspective.

Mark says Jesus appeared to the disciples, said, going to all the world, preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and baptized shall be saved.

He that believeth not shall be condemned.

And these signs shall follow them that believe in In my name.

They shall cast out demons.

Well, how do you do that?

That's authority.

You've got to have authority greater than the devil's authority.

The devil and his army have a certain authority over their subjects, but when we show up on the scene, we can cast them out and these believers can lay hands on the sick and those and those that are sick.

See the sick, not the Christian, sick, not the righteous living sick.

The sick, it's a huge, that's a huge segment.

We lay hands on the sick and they shall what recover?

The literal Greek says hands.

They shall lay, healed they shall be.

Where does it come from?

Authority?

I said authority.

We're the last Adam, he's the head, we're the body.

Jesus is seated at the right hand of the father, expecting to have we make his enemies his footstool.

So the devil ought to be under our feet, shouldn't he Again?

See, we tread upon serpents and scorpions, we walk on them.

See, that's a symbol of authority.

So, authority over demons and disease.

We have that authority, amen.

So authority is delegated power.

Now, let me.

Let me give you some meanings of the word authority, privilege, it is a privilege.

It's a privilege to cast a devil out of somebody.

It's a privilege to tell the devil go, take a hike, we don't have to listen to him, we don't have to put up with him.

There's such demonic activity right now.

Well, let's use our authority, let's exercise our authority.

Force, yeah, it's force, capacity, competency.

A lot of people just don't use their authority.

They don't exercise their authority because they don't think they're competent.

They just don't think they.

Well, I don't have much education.

Well, I haven't studied the Bible like I should.

I haven't prayed as like I should.

Let me tell you something Some of the greatest miracles in my ministry have come when I didn't feel that spiritual.

It's not about how you feel.

You have competency, freedom, mastery.

Here's one that's so good Delegated influence.

Really it's supernatural influence.

Everybody say I've got supernatural influence in the name of Jesus.

I mean, right there, just that one little phrase can set you free.

That one little phrase can change your life.

When you see yourself as one that has supernatural influence.

You're not a nothing burger.

You've got supernatural influence, jurisdiction.

I like that.

One strength the power to do is one pleases.

Oh, I can't believe that.

Well then, you just need to study your Bible.

You have delegated authority and what it really?

When you're walking with God, you're only going to do the thing that pleases him.

It's just not a blank check for you to do some ungodly thing and say that you've got the power to do it.

No, we already have that power.

We have the power to do anything we want to do God does.

God's not going to make you do anything.

You have a choice.

You've got a free will.

But when you walk with him and when you talk with him and you fellowship with him, you want to do the things.

Jesus he said I always do the things that please my Father.

I do the things I see him do.

I say the things I hear him say.

That's what you're going to be doing.

You're going to get to that place where you can do what you want to do.

Take that devil.

He tried to make me sick, but I'm going to do what I want to do.

Right now it means physical or mental power.

You know, the Holy Ghost can make you look like a genius.

Maybe you've got a fifth grade education.

Maybe you never even finished junior high.

Let me tell you something.

You know Smith Wigglesworth, one of the greatest ministers in the 20th century.

He never even went to school.

He couldn't even read and write.

He was a plumber, somehow, I don't know.

Back then plumbing was kind of simple, I guess he couldn't read or write.

And then the Holy Ghost taught him how to read his Bible.

That's the only thing he could read.

He could read his Bible.

That was it.

And then the next thing, you know, I mean here he is writing books.

You know, the Holy Ghost made him look brilliant.

Now we have no authority over human wheels needed as God, but that matter, but we have supernatural influence.

I said we have supernatural influence, so we need to get this out of the mental realm into the, into the spiritual realm and we've got to have a revelation of this truth that I'm speaking on and there's nothing the devil will fight you more on than when you move into this truth that I'm talking about the believer's authority.

When you begin to do that you're going to, you're going to swap a wash mess.

Did you see the commercial where the woman is sitting there and she's got this hornet's nest on top of her head and they're buzzing around her head, you know?

And she's got this.

She's well, you know, a hornet's nest landed on my head, but it's not so bad.

And she goes on, you know, and she's talking about how she's going on with her, her duties, but here's around and she goes to kiss her little son good night and he hides behind the covers.

You know, if you kept saying, well, it's just not so bad, it's just a lot of people just walking around.

It's not so bad.

Our devil's not so bad.

He landed on my head and it's not so bad.

No, you don't have to put up with a hornet's, so you have to feed your faith, on your God given authority.

And Ephesians one versus 17, through chapter two, verse six, that's one big, long, holy ghost prayer.

And what is the main impetus of that prayer?

That's written there?

For us to pray for ourselves and others, that God would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him, that our understanding, the eyes of our understanding, would be enlightened, that we might know how great his power is.

You can pray that prayer.

You can become aware in your spirit.

See, that's where it has to come.

Your brain, you know you try to do this.

Well, I think your pastor told me I could do it.

I think no, you need to get it down in your heart.

You believe in your heart and speak with your mouth.

That's how it works.

Amen.

And so the revelation of the believer's authority and the seating far above.

So, when we go back to this delegated influence, this supernatural influence and jurisdiction, the power to do as one pleases, I want to leave you with three things here today.

To get started with your believer's authority.

And again, I know that many of you've heard this, I've heard it over and over and I never, I like to hear about it all the time.

I mean I listen to preaching about it still, because I have to remind myself what I have.

It's easy to let things slip that belong to you and I have to say that most of the church in America, much less anywhere else in the world, have no revelation.

You're not going to get this in the Baptist church.

You're not going to get it in the Methodist church.

You're not going to get it in most assembly of God churches.

You're not going to get it in a lot of charismatic and quote unquote spirit field churches.

They've lost it.

Word of faith which we preach.

This is the.

This is what Jesus preached, this is what Paul preached, this is what my father in the faith, john Osteen, preached, and brother Hagan preached and his son, kenneth W Hagan, is preaching.

Jay and Selene and the Griners went to Winter Bible and they just were so refreshed to hear the same kind of preaching.

There is what we, that we hear at home.

It's just, it's just wonderful to hear it.

A lot of times you go places and you hear a bunch of unbelief, you hear a bunch of victimhood, you, you, you hear a bunch of poor me.

You know if, if I've been, I was recently again invited to a prayer meeting where they're going to pray 2nd Corinthians 714.

I wouldn't even bother going to pray that prayer of Old Testament.

If my people call by my name, we'll humble themselves and pray.

And God, heal our land.

I'm not going to heal the land, it's our job.

He delegated his authority.

What would you have him do?

Send Jesus back to the cross?

Give you another message besides the gospel?

No, it's.

We have mess in this land because we haven't done what God said.

So you know there's.

You might as well twiddle your thumbs and say twinkle, twinkle, little star.

Oh, you're blasphemy.

No, I'm not blaspheming.

I'm saying these people don't know their covenant, they don't know what the New Testament says.

They're praying Old Testament prayers that are not designed for us.

They're designed for Israel, because they left their covenant.

Read the whole context of that prayer.

They disobeyed God.

So then God is opening door.

Okay, if you'll ever, as a nation, if you'll humble yourself and pray, I'll heal your land.

But they never did.

I said they never did.

So it has nothing to do with our land.

Some of you are kind of making that going around in your head.

See, this is the thing.

I don't want those people influencing what I believe because they're believing something that's way lower than what we've got.

We're the last atom.

We're the last atom.

We've got authority over everything.

Russ, is that how you catch so many fish?

You've got authority over the fish?

I think so, probably.

So, all right, all right.

Three things I want to leave with you before we move on here.

Number one authority over our own body and mind.

That's where it starts Now.

Quit asking God to do things that you're supposed to do.

I said quit asking God to do things that you are supposed to do.

Oh God, I don't like that thought.

Oh, take that thought.

No, he's not gonna take it.

You have authority to get rid of that thought.

You've got supernatural weapons.

The weapons of your warfare are not carnal, but they're mighty, through God, to pull down strongholds, cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

That's your job.

So if you're gonna believe this message, you gotta start with your thinking, because many times our thinking is thinking, stinking thinking.

And listen, don't feel guilty.

The devil is standing around trying to throw things at you to see what will stick If he can throw this thought at you and then stand back and watch.

Now I said the devil, the.

The devil didn't do it, some demon did it.

The devil doesn't have time for you.

He's too busy working on Joe Biden.

I'll drink today.

You know the Bible said Romans 12, 1 and 2, you know I beseech you, brethren, therefore, by the mercy of God, present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

See, that's you.

You tell your body shut up.

I've got a message on speaking your way to health.

You've just got to tell your body shut up, stop that Pain, get out of here right now.

Oh God, take this pain.

What would you have him do?

When you think about that silly prayer?

That is a dumb prayer.

That's ignorance.

And God can't answer ignorance.

He won't move on ignorance.

The devil moves on ignorance.

So we have to get smart.

We have to get words smart, know what the word says, know what's in our covenant and absolutely decree and declare you know, you're a king and a priest unto God.

That's another thing.

He told John on the Isle of Potomac that we're kings and priests.

He's, we're the kings, he's the king of, he's the king of kings and the Lord of lords.

We're the kings and we're the lords.

That means a king.

Can you imagine the king begging anybody to do anything?

Oh, would you please?

No, he makes a decree, he orders things to happen and, buddy, there's a whole multitude of people moving to execute his orders.

Or else?

Now that's where we are.

You have authority over your own mind and your own body, so you offer it as a living sacrifice.

That means you don't let your body do what it wants to do.

Your physical body wants to do what it was doing before you were saved.

If you were a drug addict, your body can be tempted to take drugs that you've been delivered from.

I've seen it happen Alcohol.

Well, I've been delivered from alcoholism.

It won't hurt for me to take a drink.

Next thing, you know they're on the bottom of the heap.

What did they do?

They opened the door and they obeyed that spirit that had been gone.

They, in pride.

They think they can handle an addictive substance like cocaine or alcohol.

Alcohol is addictive, okay, or any other thing that you can think of.

No, you know, you have to stay over your body.

Paul the apostle I don't know very many people as holy as he was and as dedicated to Jesus as he was.

And he said I have to keep my body under subjection to my spirit lest, while having preached to others, I myself should be a reject.

I should be just cast aside, cast away.

I've seen ministers, I've seen believers.

Just, they had a ministry, they were doing good, and the next thing you know, they got tangled up in the world and they're disqualified.

God has to bring somebody else into position to take their place.

This ministry that I have is a result of somebody failing to do their job.

And God told me I'm giving you another place.

They've been rejected and you're gonna take their place and I'm gonna give you the authority, responsibility, provision.

And he used the word booty, like pirates, booty Of another.

It's given unto you.

So, in other words, when he said that to me, that let me know how easy it would be for me to fail and for God to excommunicate, not ex from heaven, but move me aside and bring someone else in to take my place that will obey him.

Obedience is not optional.

If he's Lord, we've got to obey.

And so, and then, of course, your mind, your mind, has got to line up these false accusations that you know.

Devil tries to accuse you, tries to say you're not worthy, tries to say these.

I tell you, just meditate on what the blood has done.

It's your faith.

Your faith knows how to answer these accusations.

You don't have to give in to them and have a spiral downward.

All right, so authority over your own body.

It all starts there.

If you don't start there, all the rest of this doesn't really matter too much.

If you don't take authority or exercise I like to use the word exercise authority over your own body and your own mind.

You don't just body.

I'm not giving you permission to do that.

You stop it.

Talk to your body.

You are a spirit.

You live in the body.

You're not your body.

When you look in the mirror, that's not you, that's the, that's the, your earth suit, for lack of a better word that's your earth suit.

But you are in that body and you control that body.

You have supernatural influence over your own body.

If you don't have it over your own body, you're not gonna have very much any place else.

And then the same with your mind.

You've got to take control of your thought life.

You've got to stop indulging in pity parties.

Poor me's.

They didn't treat me right, well you know.

They didn't treat me right.

Well, you know, when you start thinking that the devil is knocking on your doorstep Because you've walked outside of the commandment of what Love.

Love takes no account of a suffered wrong Didn't mean that you didn't suffer a wrong.

It says you don't take any account of it.

Man, I've suffered lots of wrong, but I just go, man, you know.

So what Praise God, it's all right.

Can't please everybody?

Might as well please myself.

No, I'm not All right.

Number two authority over your home.

Authority over your home.

Your home is your domain, it's your place of dominion.

Run the devil out of your home.

I was talking to somebody one time.

They had demons manifesting there.

I said what in the world are you?

What have you done?

I found out later that this person had given place.

I mean, they just gone back and started walking in fear, having fear, fear and everything, and obeying fear.

It's one thing to have a fault of fear Everybody has those but when you start obeying fear and acting according to fear that's not faith You're opening a door for the devil to do more of it.

And next thing, you know she's got voices and she's got stuff going on in her house.

You know, amen.

Run the devil off before it gets that bad Authority over your home.

In Jesus name, establish jurisdiction.

So fathers I mean in husbands take jurisdiction over your household.

That doesn't mean that you're the ruler and you just ordered your wife around like some kind of despot.

That's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about the devil.

Run the devil off from your wife.

Run the devil off from your kids and quit allowing your kids to be on TikTok.

You find their phones and you look at their phones and look on the app and if you see TikTok on there, you get rid of TikTok.

You don't ask them, you don't beg them, you just do it Because TikTok is a Communist Chinese plot to destroy America.

There's porn on there.

There's all these questions about gender.

You know we go into orbit about our libraries and our textbooks and the schools, and that's something we need to pay attention to.

But far, far greater evil is social media.

This is where the kids are picking up this garbage and it's almost unchecked.

You know they're not even censoring that.

They're not censoring that.

They're only censoring us.

They're not censoring this filth that's on social media.

You're gonna have to keep up with your kids.

That's all I can tell you.

It's your job, this comes under the heading of your authority.

This is what Adam didn't do.

He could have run the devil off from Eve.

That's his wife, they're one.

He's a flesh of his flesh, bone of his bone.

He could have run the devil off right there.

Woman, now you, you're deceived.

That's wrong.

And don't you remember, could have got her out of it.

Boy, what a different place it'd be.

Thank God for the last Adam.

Oh, the last Adam came.

The last Adam came.

He came, your spouse and your children.

You're gonna have to establish your supernatural influence, and I don't mean by being harsh and being dictatorial.

That's not really the tone I'm talking about is love.

I'm talking about love.

I'm talking about prayer time.

When you're praying, that's when you do this stuff.

In the case where the woman had demons, I told her get some praise music and run it 24, seven.

Go to work and leave it playing and let the devil's gonna hang around my house.

He's gonna hear worship music.

He's gonna hear way maker, miracle.

You wanna listen to music, devil?

Hear some, listen to it.

In my backyard I used to pray in tongues and you know, and I'd just prophesy, and I'd pray in tongues and I'd and I'd picture the devil standing there and I said, devil, come over here, I've got a few things to tell you.

Sit right here.

And I had this jagged pine stump where the pine tree had fallen and it just had jagged, jagged.

And I said, sit right there for a while.

I need to talk to you, not demons, the devil.

I'd tell the.

I'd summon the devil.

Sit right here, I wanna talk to you.

I'd tell him all the reasons why he was a loser.

I'd spend, you know, 30 minutes accusing him and they were all.

It was all true.

I mean, you know, his accusation was not true to me because I'm under the blood, all right.

And finally, authority over your neighborhood, your city, your state and nation.

This church has been given mandates that are beyond these church walls and we've executed to the best of our ability those mandates.

It's a different kind of church, because God wanted us to do what we're doing.

He wanted me to wake up the church and that's what we're doing, but the things that he's done since 2020 have been just accelerated.

It's just like it took off on a rocket ship and really I can say with all honesty, when I look back on 2020, that was the greatest year of our lives when COVID came out, because we launched out into a whole different area of supernatural influence.

Our footprint grew and it continues to grow.

Are we bragging?

No, I'm just reporting.

I'm just telling you what this message will do.

When you start doing what God tells you to do, he gives you the capacity, the competency, he gives you the force to do what he tells you to do.

And I talked to James.

He said I just don't even know how I can do all this.

And he just keeps taking one step after another, and people come around him and he's able to delegate things and they say, hey, I'll do this for you.

Hey, I'll do that for you, hey, I'll, you know.

And the same with Jay.

It's our whole family and we've got more to do than we can do.

And yet people just step up and they start joining forces with us and there's gonna be more and more of that.

Thank God for our new members that are committing today, because we need you, need you to get on board with us and partner with us on these mandates that we have.

And so you know, I like to start where I am.

You know you start with your body and your mind and then you get to your house and your household and your children and your wife or your husband or whatever.

If you're a single mom you really gotta double down on this authority.

But you've got Jesus can be your husband till you decide if you're gonna get married again or not.

But then you get over into your neighborhood.

Well, you know what happens in your household.

It will affect your neighbor, it'll affect the schools that your kids go to.

I just think about Gladys.

When we got saved, gladys was already that way but she doubled down.

When we got she was already saved.

But when she got filled with the Holy Ghost and I got saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, I mean she spent a lot of time down at Howdy Elementary buddy.

I mean she was a room mama and she knew everything going on in that school involved.

And I know many of you work and you don't have time to do that.

That's fine.

But your prayers go where you can't go, your words.

See, it's not even praying, but it's decreeing, it's declaring, it's telling the devil to take his hands off your child's teacher, take your hands off our administration, take your hands off our school principal, take your hands off our school board, take your hands off our superintendent in the name of Jesus, and we can't just, we can't just gripe, not to pray and decree.

Really, this message has changed my entire prayer life.

I don't, you know, the kind of praying I do is mostly just praising, worshiping.

I don't ask God for much of anything, I just tell the devil to take his hands off what's mine.

I'll ask for wisdom.

I pray those Ephesians prayers and the Colossians prayers.

I pray the word over myself, but as far as saying, oh God, give me this and give me that, oh God, no.

I found out what belongs to me and I appropriate it by faith.

So it's the same.

When you move from your household to the neighborhood, to the schools, to the city, to the state, that's best done in a corporate setting and we're moving in those places.

I've purposely taken a wait and see attitude on the presidential race.

There's all kinds of people throwing their hat in the ring.

I have my personal opinions, but I'm not doing anything about it till later and I'm not supporting anybody publicly.

I'm gonna wait for the process to work out, because one of the bad things I think has happened in this country is the grassroots and that's, you and me have been ignored and the big money has chosen all the candidates and people that started out good have gotten corrupt.

And God is bigger than all that.

He knows more than I know and I just rather wait on Him to tell me.

But I'm wide open, I'm willing.

I like Donald Trump.

I think he's the best president we ever had.

That's what I think I don't know about next time.

I just don't know.

I don't know.

I like him.

I mean, nobody's perfect.

You're looking for perfect, as Jesus is it.

But other than that, see, I don't wanna get involved.

I've got too many things right here locally when we do have delegated influence.

We've got supernatural influence here locally and we're using that influence in the grassroots area and we're doing some things behind the scenes now a little bit, and so we need your prayers.

You wanna get involved?

Pray, amen In Jesus' name.

Where you know the first Timothy two, let's read it.

We do this, but again, it's not enough just to pray, you have to get involved.

We learned that over and over, haven't we?

You can pray, pray, pray, and if you don't do, that's kind of in our country, there wasn't much they could do in Israel because the Romans ruled them.

They didn't have a democracy.

Most of the world.

There wasn't any democracy really in the Bible days.

We have the most unique country in the whole world it's ever existed really.

So it is on us.

But first Timothy, chapter two.

I exhort, therefore that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, giving thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority or in imminent place my margin says that would include a president.

He's not a king, hey Joe, you're not a king.

No, but he is in imminent place and that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all Godliness and honesty.

What do you mean?

I should be praying for Joe when?

No, I cry against all of it, what he does.

I don't pray for him because he hasn't.

He's a despot.

He's not worthy of my prayers to pray for him.

I know good preachers that disagree with me and they can pray the way they want to.

I'm not praying for the devil.

I don't think anybody prayed for King George.

They got out from under him.

Thank you for two omis and three grunts.

I want the quiet and peaceful life in all Godliness and honesty.

I don't see that under Democrats, who will have all men to be saved in the coming of the knowledge of the truth, they would have all men to be lost and be deceived.

That's what they want, that's what they believe in, see.

So I can't pray for them.

I can pray against them.

I can cry against evil.

The Bible says the fear of the Lord is to hate evil, pride, arrogance and every evil way.

I think that pretty well covers the Democrat Party.

You turn this into politics.

Well, I turned it into truth.

So this authority that we have comes with a responsibility.

That's when I get back to that.

God doesn't give authority without giving corresponding responsibility.

When he told me I'm giving you the authority, responsibility, booty and provision of another, I mean I thought responsibility was glowing in red.

It weighs on me, my responsibility to Him, and so I say things, sometimes in a joking manner, lighthearted manner, but always underneath that is the knowledge that God could replace me, just like that, if I don't do what he says to do, I'm here to do His bidding.

Amen, and so are you.

Comes with a responsibility.

Amen, the Believer's Authority.
