The Believer's Authority 2

make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

Say this together.

Say Heavenly Father, you are so good.

Thank you for all you're doing.

I look back on what you've done and I know there's more force in the future.

I'm believing for great things.

I'm stirring myself up today.

I'm not looking at the trouble, I'm looking at the answer and you're the answer.

In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

Let's turn our Bibles to two places Genesis, chapter one, and Matthew 28.

And we're sharing a second message this morning on the Believer's Authority, so important.

When I got ahold of these truths 40-plus years ago, it changed my life, continues to change my life, changed my prayer life.

You know, revelation of the Word is unfolding.

We don't get it all in one load, in one seating.

That's why we have to preach this over and over and over again and I get something out of it when I preach.

And the Word of God is infinite.

And we haven't yet touched.

I don't believe the Church has even come close to touching what God wants the Church to be involved with here in these last days.

Genesis, chapter one, verse 26.

After God had made the heavens and the earth, the galaxies, the stars, the sun and the moon, all animal kingdom, plant and animal life of all kinds.

Then he said in verse 26, god said let us make a man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion, let them have dominion.

That word dominion there is a Hebrew word, rodah, and it means to subjugate, to prevail, to dominate.

Literally, it means to scrape out.

Isn't that amazing what the Word says when you really look at it and study it.

This is God's dream for man, his crowning achievement.

Everything revolves around the man, not the other way around.

You, duphuses, people like Jane Fonda, think that we need to fellowship with dolphins and whales.

Are you an idiot?

Yeah, she's an idiot, no question about it.

She has no idea why she's been created.

We're created for what?

For fellowship with God.

He's not going to fellowship with a rhinoceros.

Let us make a man after our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion, let them have, make it, let them subjugate, dominate, prevail over what?

Over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth, over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

We're to scrape out the creeps.

I like scraping them out.

So God created man in His own image and in the image of God, created a male and female, created he them.

Pretty well settles, it, doesn't it?

You believe the Bible?

All right, and then we go to Matthew 28.

Think about man, think about Adam having this power of dominion.

And in Matthew 28, jesus is about to go into heaven and he appears to His disciples the last time before he leaves, verse 16,.

Then the 11 disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them, and when they saw Him, they worshiped Him.

But some doubted.

And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying all power that is that word.

Power means authority.

All authority in heaven and on earth is given unto me.

Go ye, therefore, and teach.

My margin says make disciples of all nations, of all people groups, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all things Whatsoever.

I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age.

So, as we said last week, our great God and Father has given man authority.

Adam had this dominion, he had this authority over everything.

And when you read the Genesis account, eve was deceived by the serpent who evidently walked upright.

He was not on his belly yet because he hadn't been cursed by the Lord.

And he deceived Eve and she went along with him in aid of the forbidden fruit.

They had a dominion over everything and they had reserved one thing in the whole universe that was exempted from their authority, and that was the tree, because otherwise then they would have had authority over him.

He gave them something to obey.

You see, they're still below God.

They're not equal to God.

They're like Him, they're in His image, but they're below, a little below God, yet at the same level, to where he can fellowship with them.

That was the whole dream of creating man, so God could be a father to them.

And for her to eat that fruit was an insult.

It was disobedient, but she was deceived.

But Adam watched the whole thing go down, did not exercise his authority, allowed it to happen and, with eyes wide open, knowing what he was doing, he went ahead and ate the fruit too, thereby committing treason and giving legal authority that he had to the one he obeyed.

That's why God couldn't take it back from the devil.

It was done legally.

It was deception in her case, but not an Adam.

Adam decided to do it and he sinned not only against God, but against you and I, against everybody that's died needlessly, everybody that suffered needlessly in the earth, because all of that came as a result of the fall.

So we're talking about the believer's authority, and the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1545 that Jesus is the last Adam.

Aren't you glad God wasn't through so right there in Genesis 3.15, he had prepared a way of redemption for mankind.

His crowning achievement wasn't lost forever.

He had a plan for the last Adam to come and be.

He's all God and yet all man.

He's a legal representative of man.

He's a legal representative because he is God.

Jesus is the Son of God, and so he was able then to redeem mankind.

And so when he rose from the dead of course we know that before he rose from the dead he defeated Satan took from him the keys of hell and of death, showed them to John on the Isle of Potomac, he that liveth and was dead.

But now I'm alive and behold, I got the keys right here.

Keys stand for what authority?

Everybody say he gave me authority.

It's a delegated authority that we have that God gave us.

When is the church gonna wake up and start walking in it, bowing and scraping to fools?

Well, we were elected, know you stole it about time.

Somebody said it and it's been proven every day that they know that they stole it and yet, and they've depressed and repressed all the information.

I Mean we have a bad.

You talk about you and then you're a conspiracy.

You better believe.

I am no question about what they've done.

They're getting caught.

They're getting caught the FBI.

Just they've got whistleblowers.

They're they're, they're testifying every day in Congress.

I don't know if you keeping up with this, but the truth is coming out, so you don't have to look like a fool just because people believe a lie, still wearing masks.

I mean, I get so irritated Young people.

Here's a 21 year old girl walking into Ulta the other I'm waiting on glad it's going to, oh, to say on the reason I'd go there's and I'm waiting on glad it's.

You know, I spend most of my life waiting on her.

Where are we going next, honey?

Oh, uh, I have to.

Yeah, I mean there, you know that there.

Oh, I mean, what are you worried about, lark girl?

What's wrong with you?

And she's wearing the mask under her nose.

I mean, how stupid are you really?

If you thought the mask would do you any good, what good is it going to do you just right here?

I mean, I don't get it Anyway.

No, we have authority.

It's time for the church to rise up.

So Jesus, here in Matthew 28, delegated his authority to the believer in the same, in the same account, in Mark, chapter 16, the same story written by the Mark said in Mark 16, jesus said going to all the world, priests, the gospel, every creature, these signs should follow them that believe in my name.

Mark 16 · chapter mention

They shall have dominion over demons, disease and death.

That's it.

That's basically what that means.

They'll lay hands on the sick and they'll recover.

They'll cast out demons.

They'll try, you know it, take up serpents.

See what are they talking about serpents?

No, he's talking about demonic powers.

And the church has dominion over demons, disease and death.

So, in the context of our authority and our power is go, ye, we've got to tie our lives, especially now.

This is a final countdown.

Jesus is coming soon.

I don't have a date for you, but he's coming and all the signs are there, prophecies being fulfilled, and so we need to tie our lives to the kingdom of God.

We need to tie our lives to the harvest, because God's gonna get one.

God's not done.

He hadn't even gotten started yet.

There's gonna be billions of people get saved before Jesus comes back.

It's gonna take a lot of money, it's gonna take a lot of effort.

It's gonna take a church on fire With the power of God.

It's gonna take a church that's lit up with its authority, not intimidated.

And so the word authority, as I said last week, it means privilege, force.

Well, I like that.

I like all these words capacity, competency.

Lot of people think they can't be competent unless they have a degree or unless they went to a certain level of school or higher education.

Listen, our competency is of him.

I'm not against education, I just don't.

I don't worship at the educational footstool.

I'm telling you right now, we need more of God.

It means strength, mastery, delegated influence.

Oh my, I love that.

One jurisdiction, Juris.

Did we have jurists?

Listen, you've got jurisdiction over your house.

Don't let the devil come into your house and mess it up.

Run him out the power to choose, to do as one pleases.

Oh man, pastor, that you've gone too far.

I only do the things that I know.

Please, my father, I'm not, I'm not a loose cannon, I don't just do anything.

I please like my flesh I'm talking about.

See again, you've got to tie your life to the word.

And is Jesus your Lord or not?

This would not violate that.

Then, if he's your Lord, you're only gonna do the things you know.

Please him and it's the power to do it.

It is my delight to preach the gospel.

Praise God, I get to do that.

Wow, what a privilege.

There it is again authority, physical or mental power, the power of rule, the power of government.

So when we vote, we're kind of like Adam, we're the last Adam.

You know, when you go in the voting booth and you transfer that authority that you have, all authority in heaven and earth is given Under me.

Go you, therefore, church.

Go and go into all the world, go into the political world, go into every part of the world, not just some of the world, all of the world.

And when you vote you're gonna give your authority to some fool a Thousand times.

No, we're not gonna vote for some goof.

Us like Biden or any Democrat, any Democrat.

You say, if you do that you might as well, just you.

You know you're going backwards, you.

You're going back to the first Adam.

You're committing high treason, pastor.

That's too strong.

Well, it's not strong enough as far as I'm concerned because the church is still doing silly things.

I've had, I've had people that you know that that block walked in the last election.

They're going up and, oh, I'm a Christian, but I'm a Democrat.

No, you're not.

You're not a Christian, You're going to hell.

You can't vote for these people there.

They're Full of the devil, the works of their father.

They shall do amen or y'all with me.

Now there's no, there's no more of this reaching across the island, making a deal with the devil.

We can't.

We're gone.

That's gone forever.

This is where we're at church, like it or not.

Well, I'm uncomfortable.

Well, there's lots of other Churches that'll let you sleep right on through the service, it won't matter.

I'm gonna tell you what I know to be the truth.

I Dare not do it.

I mean I can't.

I.

He's my Lord.

I have to do what he tells me to do.

I'm just the messenger.

I'm not the one that made this.

I'm not the one that Did it and wrote the Bible.

I just preach it.

I agree with it, all right.

So so you know, in Ephesians, chapter 1 and 2, there's a Holy Ghost prayer there, that that I like to pray almost every day.

Ephesians 1 · chapter mention

I pray it over myself, because I'm praying that the eyes of my understanding be flooded with life, that I might know some things.

One of the things that I need to know is how great this power is that he gave me and a revelation of my seeding.

I'm seated far above in Christ, and so you know, you, you read that when you're a baby Christian and you try to grasp it, it's, it's listen, it's a lifetime for me to understand these principles and be bold enough to say them and Preach them.

Because I know it's true.

I'm not a bit intimidated by people who differ with me.

I'm not a bit worried about somebody saying I'm just offended.

Well, I'm sorry, you can get unafended.

If you spend as much time as I do in the word, you're finally gonna find out what I'm saying is true.

Why don't you check it out For you?

Throw it out and if you can't accept it, put it on a shelf.

It could be that that down the road, you're gonna finally agree with me.

Then you, you know, smart enough not to throw it out.

It's God's word.

Be a little bit more afraid, and fear of him in reverence to him.

Not to throw the word out, all right, so we exercise authority over our body and mind.

Number one, that's the first thing.

We have to exercise authority over your own body and your own mind, over your home, I and the people who live there, and then, by virtue of that, then your neighborhood, your city, your state, your place of work and, of course, nationally.

I mean a lot of this authority is exercised when we get involved in things like politics.

When we vote.

We've got supernatural delegated influence that we're exercising.

It's going into our elected leaders, and when we don't like what they do, well, then we start finding somebody to primary them.

There's a whole list of people I want to get primary the next time around, all right.

So today let's look at Ephesians, chapter six, and I want to hopefully wrap this up.

But if I don't wrap it up, guess what?

I get?

To preach it next week and going nowhere.

I'm right here Ephesians chapter six, verse 10.

And we're going to talk more about this delegated authority that we are all expected to exercise.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

That word Greek word, power, the power of his might it means literally mighty power.

It's the Greek word kropos and essentially it means about the same thing as that Hebrew word in Genesis, chapter one, that was translated dominion.

It's really basically be strong in the Lord and the dominion it's mighty power.

Notice it's not strong in your power, strong in him, strong in him.

See, this is not our power, it's his power, but we use it.

We have the key, we have the delegated authority.

Be strong in it, be strong in the Lord, in Christ, be strong in him.

See, we're not just fighting this battle by ourselves, we're in him, he's the head, we're the body.

Be strong, be strong.

Everybody say I am strong, say we're not strong in ourselves, we're strong in the Lord and in the power of his kropos, in his kropos, dominion, rule.

Put on the whole armor, the entire armor of God, that you may be able to stand or withstand against the wiles of the devil.

The word wiles is military strategies.

This, these verses kind of show you that the devil has a hierarchy, he has military commanders in the spirit realm.

We've got to be strong in the Lord and we've got to put on the entire armor of God so that we can stand against these evil forces and their military strategies.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against and here they are principalities and powers against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places or wicked spirits in heavenly places.

Not talking about heaven, where God is, is talking about the atmosphere around the earth.

Evidently, they are filled with these wicked spirits.

These are the things, the hierarchy of Satan, that we wrestle against.

He's already been defeated, but they are still fighting because the age has not ended.

They still have a lot of influence on the earth because they have their subjects.

There's three groups of people on the earth, according to 1 Corinthians, chapter 10.

1 Corinthians 10 · chapter mention

The Jews.

The nations are the goyim are the goyim, and the church.

The Jews have a covenant, the church has a better covenant, and then you've got everybody else that is under the domination of Satan and those principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, wicked spirits and the heavenly places.

That's what influence they've got and that's what we wrestle against, because these people, like then the Democrats, like Joe Biden, like all these people, we wrestle against them, not against them, it's against the demonic powers behind them.

Are y'all getting this now?

Why don't we?

We gotta have the whole armor of God on.

Wherefore verse 13 again, point two.

Wherefore take upon you the whole armor of God, the entire armor, not just some of it, all of it that you may be able to withstand in the evil day.

Are we living there?

Are we living in that evil day?

Right now, you have no hope of standing up against these principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, much less the devil himself, without the whole armor.

And so, in having done all to stand stand therefore, verse 14, stand having.

And then it goes on to tell you about the armor, having your glory and skirt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness, your feet shod, with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all, taking the shield of faith, or with your able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one and take the helmet of salvation.

Say you take, oh God, give it.

No, you take.

Oh God, help me.

No, you take.

See, we're always asking God to do something he's already supplied the answer for.

How dumb is that?

How dumb is that to go to battle and he's supplied the armor and you didn't put it on?

Is it God's fault that you get killed and battled?

Mia, missing in action, doa, dead on arrival?

Is it His fault when he supplied everything you need to withstand in the evil day?

Take the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, the Ramah of God.

Literally, the word word there is Ramah, god breath, word Praying, verse 18.

So take the whole armor of God praying.

So then that tells me that the armor of God is prayer armor.

That's what we ought to strap on before we go to prayer.

Are y'all with me now Praying, always with all prayer or all manner of prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching everybody say I'm praying and watching, watching there unto, with all perseverance and supplication for all saints?

So Ephesians 6, 10 through 18, these are keys to maintaining our seat of authority.

We are seated far above In Ephesians, chapter one, verse 19,.

We've been seated far above.

Finally, my brother, since all these things that I wrote to you in Ephesians one, two, three, four, five and six are true.

Finally, my brother, let's get ready, let's strap on our armor in prayer and maintain our seat of authority.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Now you go into some high level corporate offices.

You know, got the CEO over here in one office.

He's got a corner office.

Now he's looking out over.

You know the whole place on the 89th floor or something.

Now there's people walking around, standing around outside, but when you go in his office, there is he.

He's seated.

I said he's seated.

You can kind of tell who's in charge by who's sitting down In the king's court.

In Bible days, the king was seated on the throne and a lot of people standing around.

Well, they're not the king.

The king is seated.

The king doesn't have to stand.

All he's gotta do is speak.

He speaks and the people that are standing around run out to do what he says to do.

Are you gonna deal with them or are you gonna deal with him?

And so we are seated together with Christ in the heavenly places.

We've gotta maintain that seat.

The devil is going to fight you tooth and nail when you begin to just get your little toe barely over the line to start telling him what to do and what far.

He's gonna fight you with everything he's got, and you better have your armor on Amen.

And so these pieces of armor are a revelation of what he's gonna use to fight you.

He's gonna bring an attack in these areas.

Are y'all with me now?

Well, let's go over it real quick here, verse 18, the prayer armor.

It's a prayer armor and it says to watch and pray.

We've got.

I preach on this Wednesday night if you weren't here.

Get the media, be sober, be vigilant.

Your adversary, the devil, has a line, walketh about seeking whom he may devour, whom resists dead fast in the faith.

You better be watching and praying.

You better be on the alert.

He's looking to eat you, he wants to devour you.

But let me tell you something when you got on the whole armor of God, where did you put it on for you?

Put it on in prayer.

That's where you watch and pray.

You watch and pray.

You watch in prayer.

That's where the Holy Ghost can alert you to an attack that's coming.

You know, an ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure.

I mean, so much of the church is on the defense.

All the time.

We're on the defensive.

We're always waiting till the devil has blown us up, and then we start trying to stand after the bomb went off.

Let's stop.

Let's defuse the bomb.

Alex Miller can tell us about defusing bombs.

That's what she did in Afghanistan.

I'm for defusing the bombs.

Can you defuse all of it?

Well, you can't defuse all of it, but I'm gonna tell you, if you watch and pray, you can prevent a lot of damage, and the church has gotta get in that mode of offense instead of defense.

So it's prayer, it's praying.

You gotta have a prayer time.

This is how you stay strong in the Lord and the crottos, the power of His mighty power.

You've got your prayer armor and you are praying.

You have prayer time every day, and if you're not praying every day, you're gonna miss a lot of things and there's gonna be a lot of difficulty that you could have avoided.

I'm not saying faith can stop everything, but I'm gonna tell you something prayer life can make a difference.

This is when the devil is going nuts.

He knows his time is short and he is pulling out all the stops.

He wants to kill you, and if he can't kill you, then he wants to discredit you.

So everybody say it's prayer armor.

So prayer is how you understand the devil's wiles or his military strategies, so you can stand against him in his principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this present age.

All right, so then, verse 14, let's look at this specific armor.

It says stand, therefore, having your loins girt with truth or the belt of truth.

So the truth of God's word is the belt that holds all the armor in place.

If you don't have the belt on, I mean that's all gonna fall off on you.

You might be running down the road and all of a sudden it falls off of you.

Now you're vulnerable.

So what the truth?

The truth of God's word?

I mean, how's he attacking?

He is bringing deception upon deception, upon deception.

Right now we're living in a time of deception that we've never seen, where even I mean institutions of our nation are corrupt.

You know, the news media hasn't always had the best reputation, but it's worthless now.

It's been weaponized against people of faith.

It's been weaponized against people who love America and who want America to succeed.

A lot of our government agencies, the letter agencies, have been weaponized.

I don't know if you're watching.

You ought to listen to some of these whistleblowers out of the FBI.

These are the rank and file agents.

We've been saying this for quite some time.

I'm always an admirer of people that worked in the CIA and the FBI.

They risked their lives in many cases to do a great service for the country.

But the upper echelon is all corrupt.

Almost every one of them is corrupt.

Christopher Ray, the head of the FBI, admitted the other day under testimony.

Well, we kind of suspected and knew that the virus came from Wuhan lab.

So in other words, they know that it was an act of war.

It's absolutely not an accident.

It was released on purpose.

And if you said that two years ago, well, they'd take you off of the internet, they'd take you off of Facebook and Twitter and they'd crucify you and make you into a nut job.

And if you said anything about the election being stolen, you're well, there's proof that there was.

There's no question about it.

It's not even a matter of even arguing.

It's coming out now, daily it's coming out.

I'd love for the Congress to get out of the investigating part and start doing some things to take care of this country, instead of always investigating the corruption.

Maybe we could line up.

No, I better not do that.

All right, praise the Lord, that's the flesh.

I'm not.

So you've got this.

You know you've got this.

Take up on you the whole armor.

God, have your lorns gird about with truth.

You can't believe what the Democrats say and that truth is not in them.

Can't believe the news media.

Truth is not in them.

Mostly there's one out of a bunch that's worth listening to.

The rest of them are just lying.

It's really hard, it's sad to see it, but we've got to know it.

So what truth?

The truth of the word of God.

That's what you can rely on, all right, so you have the armor tied about with that belt of truth and take upon you the helmet, excuse me, the breastplate of righteousness.

The breastplate is over your center of your body, your lorns, or your lorns or your guts, and then the breastplate, so that's the center part of your being, most two pieces.

I mean, you know King Saul, when he was went out to battle, they stabbed him, you know, in the gut with a sword and he was disemboweled.

Hate to be so graphic, but that's what happened to people that got hit with a sword in the middle of their body.

Didn't kill them right away.

They were sitting there wallowing and suffering, and he begged.

Another man that came along, who happened to be in a malachite, follow me in my suffering.

Don't let me wait here until they come and humble me.

Go ahead and kill me.

Now I'm, you know, I'm sick.

That's kind of what happens with the devil.

He can attack your righteousness.

He can attack and I mean, listen, righteousness is not something you grow in.

It's a status that you went into as soon as you got saved.

You became the righteousness of God.

In him, you have boldness to enter in by the blood of the lamb.

You don't have to wait around in the outer room.

They all with me now.

This is a truth that a lot of the church has lost.

They've lost their sense of righteousness.

What they have is a sin consciousness.

They're just always thinking about what their shortcomings and listen that will erode your faith.

You'll never have boldness.

The righteous are bold as a lion, but when you're sin conscious, you are.

This is why we're having communion.

I just want to remind you before we take these elements, listen, we, this righteousness was given to us by Christ.

We don't have to earn it.

We don't have to be a certain way.

Should we live whole?

Of course we should, but we don't have to wait until we're perfected.

We can keep on going.

When we miss it, we can confess our sin, and he's faithful and just Forgive us our sin.

So the devil's going to come against you With this thing.

He'd come against your guts, so to speak.

You're hard to trust God in your heart, so you believe God in your heart.

It's hard to trust God and be sin conscious at the same time, because you're unworthy, you think, and that will erode your ability to trust him, all right.

And then it says in verse 15, have in your feet shot with the preparation of gospel peace.

I mean, keep your shoes on, ready to walk over to anybody and step up into the witness chair and give a testimony of what God has done for you.

It's talking about really go, ye, into all the world, go into your world.

I'll say this again a lot of people criticize me because we don't have a lot of salvation altercalls in this church.

Well, that's not the job of this church.

To get people saved, it's your job.

You should be getting saved out there and then bringing them to church to get a disciple.

Some of you looking at me kind of crazy, but I'm telling you, I sat at Lakewood for 15 years.

I built up on the platform for the last eight of those years and I watched hundreds and hundreds, even thousands of people come forward and they didn't come back after they came up to get saved.

They didn't come back.

Brother Osteen and I would talk about it and I said well, you know the Billy Graham says less than 2% of people that come forward to get saved in his crusades across the country.

You know he'd have one in a big old football stadium, 60,000 people and I'll wait, just as I, you know, let's play one more stanza.

You know, just as I am, you know come walking down and flood the whole downstairs of the stadium.

You know, with people quote, unquote getting saved.

They didn't get saved because they didn't show up for church.

They never did a thing.

You can't get saved like that.

You can't get saved by just saying a couple of words and then don't follow up and go and actually repent and actually start living a Christian life.

That's what you have to do to be saved.

There's no.

I mean, I guess you can have a deathbed conversion.

All right, I've seen people get saved on their deathbeds, more than a few, and I believe they got saved.

But you know, if they were in their, if they weren't on their deathbed, I would have expected them to get baptized.

I would have expected them to come to church.

I would have expected them to get a turn away from their old life, quit doing the ugly things they were doing and start living for God.

Are y'all with me now?

All right?

So then the next one is taken.

Above all, take the shield of faith Wherewith you're able to quench every fiery dart in the wicked one.

I mean you can quench a fiery dart in your shield of faith and it won't even hit your breastplate, it won't even hit your helmet of salvation, it won't hit your belt of truth why?

Cause you caught it in your shield.

You know this body armor that our law enforcement have.

I mean it's really effective.

But if they ever have to stop a bullet with that body armor next to their heart, I mean it leaves a bruise and I mean it hurts, like the Dickens and they got a.

You know they got to recover from that.

I mean it.

In some cases it can do a lot of damage.

It might stop the bullet and keep them from dying, but it doesn't stop the pain.

Well, guess what when you can stop that thing in your shield?

That's why they have these big old shields.

They walk behind when they're going to go break down somebody's door.

Why so they don't have to have to have that bullet hit their body armor?

That's the same with us.

Ever watched the movie Gladiator?

When they all get out there and they have their shields and Russell Crow says you know, we're going to survive this thing if we work together.

And so they all got down and huddled down on their knees and they had the shields, their shields all the way around 360 degrees, and all those guys.

They were throwing their spears at them, they were shooting their bows and arrows and they were catching all of those in their shield.

They all had armor on.

But, man, how much better is it to have the shield of faith, see, above all, above it.

Let it be a canopy over your life.

Let it, let it, let it.

You just know you can turn back any attack from the devil.

Above all, take the shield of faith and take the helmet of salvation.

Where's the devil gonna attack you?

He's gonna make you not believe all the things that Jesus bought and paid for, somehow, sometimes, you know, I like what Brother Hagin said.

He said most of the people that I've prayed for, that died, that failed to receive their healing.

They were just convinced that healing wasn't for them, it was for other people.

What happened?

Well, they didn't have their helmet of salvation on, they didn't know what belonged to them.

They started walking in the natural, they started looking.

See, they had a low sense of their righteousness.

They didn't have the breastplate of righteousness on.

They didn't have a sense that they were made worthy by the blood alone.

It's not your behavior, it's not how great a person you are and you deserve healing.

No, none of us deserve it.

But we've got it.

You've gotta know that.

That's your helmet.

You got the helmet around.

Your brain is not.

You know, you're not gonna let your brain just entertain a bunch of doubt.

You're gonna tell your brain to think differently.

You think the thoughts of God.

You quit thinking that.

It's not about deserve.

I don't have anything about that.

And you know what Devil let me tell you brain.

I know I deserve to go to hell, but guess what?

We're not going there.

See, just get rid of that.

Deserve business.

We don't deserve.

We deserve the worst, but we're gonna get it.

He did it.

Oh, glory, to come on, lift your hands right now.

That's your helmet, your helmet, you've gotta have it on.

And the sword of the spirit.

Now, up to now I've been talking about preventive armor, but now he says take the sword of the spirit, which is what the Ramah of God See, another reason why you should be praying and watching.

Because when you pray and watch, you can get Ramah from God, ramah words.

When you get a Ramah from God, that's your sword and it's not a six foot long curved blade.

I used to think that.

I used to think it was a big, old, long curved blade.

You know, like Alibaba used to have.

You know those fierce guys riding the horses over in the Middle East.

I don't know what their name is, but anyway they had to go.

Long curved sword no, it's a dagger, it's for hand to hand combat, and that's the only offensive weapon in that whole list of things.

And now you've got an offensive weapon when you begin to speak God's Ramah word.

I mean, there's a Ramah word for every circumstance that you're facing.

You can get the general logos.

The logos is valuable, but let me tell you something If you pray and you most especially praying in the spirit, you're gonna find a Ramah word.

Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Ramah of God shall man live.

And so you need a Ramah for the situation that you're in, and God will give you one.

And then you can take that Ramah and slice and dice the devil.

You can slice and dice demon powers.

You poke them with that dagger of that word of God.

How do I do that?

You speak it Whoo, hallelujah, Hallelujah.

Your authority is released in words and by acting.

Like the Bible is true.

That's how your authority is released and you do that with a whole armor of God on it.

It's gonna protect you from all the thoughts that are gonna come your way, all the words that are gonna be spoken against you by people.

You just gotta get delivered by the fear of public opinion.

A long time ago, I just I had to lose that.

I mean, I had to.

You know, god told me.

You know, the night that Brother Osteen went to heaven, he said be strong and very courageous.

He gave me Joshua, chapter one.

It says that three times, god told Joshua three times be strong and very courageous, three times in that.

And that's what God gave me, joshua, chapter one.

Moses, my servants did.

Now, therefore, rise, be strong and very courageous.

Three times Say I've had to be strong, I've had to get delivered from the fear of public opinion.

I've had to be, you know, delivered from the fear of your faces, because you're the ones looking at me and I've had a few that didn't look back at me like you're looking at me this morning.

Most of you looking at me, some of you are looking at me, nice, rest of you.

I was joking, but your authorities released in words and in acting, like the Bible is true, the, I think about Brother Hagin telling the testimony.

You know, he was delivered from a malformed heart and, I think, eight blood diseases and the doctors all agreed he couldn't live and he was paralyzed and in a bed for like 15 months, couldn't move out of the bed.

The Baptist preacher came by and said you know, told his mother well, he just needs to accept, he's going to die, he needs to quit fighting.

Just, you know, cope, coping skills, that's what they wanted to give him.

And I mean, it's pathetic, you know, have no, here's a young boy, you know, teenager 15, and they're telling you just have to die, just accept it.

The miracles passed away.

Well, you lied, you don't know what you're talking about.

I don't think he lied, he just stupid anyway, so certainly didn't have any revelation of the word Miracles haven't passed away.

So he got, he got his healing and he came off that bed of sickness.

It took him a while but he got, he got off of there.

And then over the course of his life he had several times when he had to contend for that healing and in this particular case that he wrote about.

He said you know it was.

The circumstances were, there were alarming symptoms in my body and he said it looked like, if I went by, how it looked.

It looked like I was losing ground.

It looked like I, it looked like I wasn't going to make it.

That's what it looked like.

Now he knew better than to say that.

But one day he got so intense in praying that he he said I'm going to take this Bible, god, I'm going to stand on the word.

He put the Bible on the floor and he stood on it, put it under his feet, said I'm standing on your word, I refuse to budge, I refuse to be moved off of this word.

This word is true and everything else is a lie.

Sometimes you just got to kind of get violent, you know if you're going to say, oh yeah, well, go away.

Sometimes you got to get, you could be more forceful.

So that night he had a dream, and in the dream he and another young man were walking on on what it looked like a parade ground.

They were walking on a parade ground, green grass, you know, bleachers off to the side, they were having a conversation and the friend of his kind of was turned to him like this was talking to brother Hagan.

The friend was on brother Hagan's right, so he's turned into his left talking to brother Hagan.

Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw some movement.

He turned around and says oh, let's run, it's lions.

And he started running and brother Hagan turned around and two big old, huge lions were running full speed.

And in the dream he said well, it's useless to run, I can't run these things, I'm going to stand and face them.

And he just stood still and he faced them.

He said every hair on the back of my neck stood on end.

I mean, that's what wouldn't you if you had two big old lions coming at you and you just one swipe and you're dead, much less the teeth.

But he stood his ground and then they slowed down and they came trotting up to him.

Both of them.

They sniffed at his feet, did a circle and just trotted off and he woke up and every symptom left his body.

Glory to God, haven't done all to stand.

He stood on God's word.

Hallelujah, woo, praise God.

So you're exercising authority.

You can do it like I do.

I mean, I do this every day.

I put on my whole armor of God and I do it every day.

I've heard preachers make fun of it.

I heard a preacher one time just making fun of that.

Oh, that's just a charismatic.

You know some kind of silliness.

You know you don't have to do all that.

Well, you know you can go ahead and live like you live and I'm gonna live like I live.

It's values in the Bible for a reason.

It's not in the Bible for you to ignore it, especially now.

Well, pastor, that just takes so much time.

It doesn't take that much time, thank God.

I have on the whole armor of God.

I have to go down the list, necessarily.

Sometimes I do, but most of the time I just I know what the old armor is.

I don't have to describe it After you've meditated on it.

It's in you.

And I'll just say I'll say this to Satan almost every day some form of it.

Through the authority of the word of God, by the power of the Holy Ghost, the blood of Jesus, I adjure you, satan and Jesus' name, demon powers, cease and desist.

And when I say cease, I slam my fist down on whatever table is there, whatever anything.

Now I find a solid.

If I'm standing up, I hit the wall.

Cease and desist in your maneuvers, operations and assignments gets gladdisoned.

Me and my family, spirit sold, body and financially.

Take your hands off.

See I get agitated about it.

I start the day off like that.

I kick him, I take the word, I take the blood, I take the name and I stick him.

Glory to God, the believer's authority.

Come on, lift your hands right now.

Hallelujah Glory to God.

Everybody shout devil, take your hands off.

Hallelujah Glory.
