A Life That Will Keep You Steady

So stretch out your hand.

This way, father, we just thank you for your word.

The entrance of your word brings light and gives light and illuminates our path and, lord, that's a path of victory, for we have victory.

Now we are overwhelmed on all sides by victory, not by circumstances, not by what we're facing, not by what we go through, but, lord, in you we have the victory Through faith and by faith and Lord, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

And, lord, we're grateful that we have a testimony, that we're not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power unto salvation from everyone who believes, and we're not ashamed of any aspect of that power.

We're not ashamed of your Holy Spirit, we're not ashamed of the gifts of the Spirit, but, lord, we're grateful when they manifest here.

We're hungry and thirsty for your word and we're hungry and thirsty for more of your spirit.

So, lord, we just thank you for moving in our midst tonight.

In Jesus' name, lord that Selina and I have utterance to bring the exact word that we need to hear tonight.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

Amen, amen.

So we just thought you know who was not here, what it was that two weeks ago during the Super Bowl, who was like at home chilling watching?

That was Jeff.

Jeff's, the only one bold enough to admit that.

Oh up, steve.

Steve back there.

Thank you, steve, for being honest.

Not you, steven, that's Steve over there.

Anyways, I'm just playing and Steven was here.

I'm just.

I'm kidding, steve.

We have a lot of Steve's now.

We're blessed with Steve's, lots of Steve's anyways.

But we preached a message about motivated by fillings, not your feelings, but the fillings, fillings of the Holy Spirit.

And so we taught that our inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit, but your motivation comes from your own spirit.

So your own spirit, in spirit to spirit, right, we get encouraged through our spirit, by the Holy Spirit, so that's where we should be receiving inspiration, and then be motivated by your own spirit.

So your spirit should be the one that's on fire.

We're on fire for God, right, but you know, we are a spirit, we live in a body, we have a mind, a will, an intellect, a set of emotions, but we don't follow those emotions, we follow our spirit, amen.

And so tonight we just wanted to preach a message entitled A Life that Will Keep you Steady.

Amen, a life that will keep you steady.

And this is mostly Selena's message, so I will let her under she'll say it's our message, it's a Holy.

Ghost message.

But I just thought we'd open up our Bibles to the Book of Acts.

And I'm just going to talk about the Book of Acts real quick, before we read.

And starting in chapter 21 or so, we have Paul that's been arrested and he's in prison.

And then he goes before the Sanhedrin.

Let's see, in 22 he gets to give his testimony.

In 23, the Sanhedrin are divided.

It says and let's see, I was going to pick it up in verse 11.

And he gets a word from the Lord and it says but the following night the Lord stood by him and said Be of good cheer, paul, for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.

And so we know that Paul's ministry was to ultimately witness in Rome.

And but how many of you realize that this wasn't the last word that he received, nor was it super victorious, because he had to appeal his case to Caesar, which ultimately got him to Rome, but he was still in prison.

He was in prison for two more years.

Everybody say two years, two years, and without that we might not have all the letters that we have that we have.

You know, he wrote half the New Testament and I'm grateful that he spent his time reading and praising the Lord, but how many of you realize there's a?

There's a little bit of time maybe between the time that you receive a word and the time that you have the manifestation of that word.

And so here we are.

You know, I'm going to, I'm going to skip down just for fun and read verse 14 that says they came to the chief priests and elders and said we bound ourselves under a great oath that we will eat nothing until we have killed Paul.

So can you imagine, like you think you know your boss is mad at you or whatever, or you think you're being too bold for the Lord, but I hadn't had anybody that mad at me that they're not gonna eat or drink until they see me killed or kill me themselves.

And so I'm telling you, paul was able to lean back His whole, entire human personality the amplified Bible tells us and into this word and into the power of the Holy Spirit, and it strengthened him.

Amen and so, and let's see.

So you know, you're just maybe this was your daily reading and you read two chapters a day and you're just zooming along and zoom, zoom, zoom and it's like man two years he's in prison and he goes through all of this stuff, but he gets to tell his testimony, he keeps witnessing.

They didn't receive it.

And then, in verse 27, again, he gets put on a sailing vessel, a ship.

And did he have time to bulk up for this?

Did he have time to, like you know, eat a lot of carbs maybe and carb load before he started this journey?

No, he was a prisoner, right.

And then we all know what happened.

You know he witnesses to the captain in verse nine and he's ignored.

I could read it, but I'll just skip it.

Verse nine through 11.

Chapter 27.

And chapter 27, thank you.

And we're reading out of the New King James Version, miss Nancy, up there, acts 27,.

Nine Now, when much time had been spent and sailing was now dangerous because the fast was already over, paul advised him, saying men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also our lives.

In other words, who cares about what we're carrying, the load that we're carrying?

We're gonna lose our lives as well.

And nevertheless, the Centurion was more persuaded by the helmsmen and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul.

And because the harbor was not suitable to winter, in the majority advised to set sail.

And so they set sail anyways.

Even though you had a man of God, even though he was a prisoner, they didn't listen to him for a variety of reasons, but how many of you will be ignored?

He was bold enough to say something.

First of all, will you say well, jay, his life depended on it?

Well, yes, but he had a word from the Lord.

He still was motivated by following the spirit.

And if you want, selena, if you wanna pick it up in verse 20, if you want to, Now, when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up, but after long abstinence from food.

Then Paul stood in the midst of them and said men, you should have listened to me and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss.

And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.

Listen to this boldness.

For there stood by me this night an angel of God to whom I belong and whom I serve, saying do not be afraid, paul.

You must be brought before Caesar, and indeed, god has granted you all those who sell with you.

Therefore, take heart, men, for I believe, god, that it will be just as it was told me.

Amen, amen.

So an angel came and delivered another word from the Lord that sustained him and the rest of everybody on the ship.

You know, I'm sure they began.

They still doubted, right they?

You know the storm was blowing, the storm was fierce and shipwreck was intimate.

They just didn't know it.

It was right around the corner but they didn't realize it.

They didn't know it and in verse 39, it talks about the shipwreck.

If you want to pick that up, would you like to?

When it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they observed a bay with a beach, until which they planned to run the ship if possible.

And they let go to.

They let go the anchors and left them in the sea, meanwhile losing the rudder ropes, and they hoisted the mainsail to the wind and made for shore.

But, striking a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground and the pro-struck stuck fast and remained immovable.

But the stern was able, was being broken up by the violence of the waves, and the soldier's plan was to kill the prisoners lest any of them should swim away and escape.

But the centurion, wanting to save Paul, kept them from their purpose and commanded that those who could swim should jump overboard first and get to land, and the rest, some on boards and some parts of the ship.

And so it was that they all escaped safely to land, amen.

Amen.

Are you preaching or I'm not preaching?

So you think it's significant.

So the ship broke up and it's like a movie they're all grabbed on the pieces of the ship and they're swimming to shore.

But the word of the Lord came and the angel of the Lord came and not only saved Paul, but it saved every single person on that ship, and I just.

It's so mightily important for us to be steady, to stay steady during the storm.

You know, Paul didn't allow his emotions or his fear to run him over, but instead he stood up in that boldness, every step of the way, sharing with the men where you say, well, he was outranked and he, you know, he was obviously a prisoner and this should have happened and that should have happened, but ultimately God saved them all because of Paul, that's right.

And then you say, okay, and Paul lived happily ever after.

No, they got to the Isle of Malta and what happens?

Snake bit by snake right, but that led to a mighty miracle happening and that the basically the prime minister of the island, if you will.

His father was sick and Paul was able to pray for him.

And you know when you're studying the Bible, luke is writing is the writer of Acts.

And Luke just a side note is he's a physician and he's the only non-Jew writer of the Bible.

Every other person, every other author of the Bible was a Jew, but he was a Greek, he was very educated and basically a doctor.

And I didn't even realize this until I was reading the side notes in my Bible that there was like an argument that Luke was alongside Paul and he healed him with medical means.

And all of this, no, like the power of God flowed through Paul.

Amen, and so, no matter what we're facing, it's really important that we stay steady.

Through all of those trials, through all of one thing after another, it seems Paul remains steady.

And if Paul can be steady and receive his strength and his power from the Holy Spirit, so can we.

Amen, amen, and so that's the point of tonight's message.

And so let's just dig in a little bit deeper.

And how do we remain steady through our life?

You know, god's promises are always greater than the pressures in life.

And so God's given us his word, he's given us his promise.

But so many of the time we just are looking at the storm, we're looking at the pressure, we're looking at what he said, what she said, what he did, what she did, the circumstances, circumstances in life, and those are there, but we can't allow those to move us from the Bible and move us from the promise of God.

God's given us his word.

It's yes and amen.

It's forever settled in heaven.

And so we have to make sure here on earth that we're not moved away from the promise and the word of God that he's given us, because pressures come right, Shipwrecks come, snake bites, you know, yes, but God's word, god's faithful, his word is yes and amen, amen.

So how do I remain steady through life?

Number one, and we have three points.

Number one is remain confident that God rewards your steadiness.

So we have to keep that on the forefront.

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek who?

Him.

Not money, not stuff, not things, not fame, not wealth, but him.

And so, number one remain confident that God rewards your steadiness.

Scripture is 1 Corinthians 15, 58 in the New King James.

It says therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast.

Immovable, I would say immovable.

Moveable that means not movable.

Before you know, cannot be moved, cannot be moved, yeah, before you know you're faced with something.

You already know the outcome.

You are like a decision like hey, I'm immovable.

On God's word it is not like hey, maybe, no, no, I'm immovable.

So therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

And then the New Living Translation says so, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable.

Always work enthusiasm and love.

Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

Isn't that good.

And so working enthusiastically for the Lord.

What does that mean?

Happy, joyful, like there's a look about it, there's an attitude about it, right?

And so here Paul says hey, be steadfast, be immovable, no matter the situation, no matter what's going on, we can't move from the word of God, amen, amen.

And then Colossians three, two and three.

In the New King James it says set your mind, because how many of y'all know the battlefield of the mind?

You know the battle is in the mind, and so we have to set it on something.

Your mind is already set on something, whether you realize it's either set on the word or it's not.

And so here Paul says set your mind on things above, not on things on this earth, for you died and your life, your real life, your true life, is hidden with Christ and God.

Real quick.

You know, jesus knocks on the door of our heart, but the devil, it's the devil that knocks on the door of our head.

It's the devil that wants to get into our thinking.

And so it says to give no place to the devil.

That's what the word says.

And so in the new living translation of this, colossians three, it's in verse two think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth, for you died to this life and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

And so we're living the real life, and it's hidden in Christ, with Christ in God.

But it gets revealed to us that we know the thoughts and the plans that he has for us.

We know by our prayer life, exactly what God has for us and our purpose and His plan for us, and we're thinking those thoughts.

Our thoughts are glued on heaven, amen.

Amen.

You know, I just thought of this little illustration.

When it set your mind, I thought of our oven.

You know I probably need to clean our oven.

But our oven lately, like Ethan, will make some homemade cookies in the last couple of batches that he's made.

You know, he set the oven and I opened it.

I'm like, well, that's not, you know, 325 or whatever.

It seems like warmer, but the temper, that's what it's reading Like.

It says, hey, I said it to this, but actually it might not be that, you know, maybe probably because I need to clean it or something.

But we might think, hey, our mind is set, no like, is it really set on the word of God?

You have to check yourself.

Amen.

Are those thoughts, are they coming from God or are they coming from the enemy?

Right, that insecurity?

Does that come from God?

No, that comes from the enemy.

You know, thinking about what other people are thinking about you.

Does that come from God?

No, that comes from the enemy.

And so we have to check, kind of like, think about what you're thinking about.

You have to make sure that our mind is set on the word of God, because that's when we're gonna see fruit.

Amen.

And in the Passion translation of Colossians.

It says yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities and not with the distractions of the natural realm.

Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life.

It's severed right.

It's severed, that old man is dead and how your true life is hidden away.

In God in Christ Amen.

So that's so good, amen.

It can be distracted with this realm when your thoughts are completely filled with God's purpose and the heavenly realm.

Amen.

I mean, can you imagine what Paul was thinking in that ship?

I mean his thoughts.

But he had a promise from God and he was not gonna allow those pressures to get to him.

You know and you're gonna read Romans.

So Romans eight, six through eight in the New King James says to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

So then those who are in the flesh cannot please God, and the new living translation says so.

Letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death, but letting the spirit control your mind leads to life and peace, for the sinful nature is always hostile to God.

It never did obey God's laws and it never will.

That's why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

And then the way translation says for the bent of the mind induced by fleshly impulses involves, involved death, but the bent of the mind induced by spiritual influences results in life and peace.

Amen.

So we have to make sure our mind is set on the word of God, because that's what, when we're led by the spirit of God.

That's what's gonna produce life and peace, and we can have peace in our hearts and in our minds.

Amen.

We're talking about being steadfast and immovable and remaining confident that he rewards our steadiness.

You know I never get tired of telling the church testimony and so yesterday, after contend weekend was kind of coming to an end, we gave a big tour to all the leaders of the rest of the building and they just were throwing out big compliments Like they really we have amazing volunteers and so they got to kind of see us in action and they called us a well-oiled machine because everything was just hopping and jumping and everything was organized and at least it looked that way to them, Praise the Lord.

It was a lot of work, but I was just bragging on what God has done and the miracles that he's done and talking about the land miracle.

And don't worry, I'm not gonna tell that whole story from scratch.

We'd be here all night.

But I really I'm serious.

I never get tired every time my dad starts that story.

I love it, I love what God did and I love God's faithfulness.

And you know he leaves the part out the recent, you know, the more recent part Sometimes the 2015, the 2016,.

We don't wanna see another 2015 again, and so when we were going through that, he would talk openly about that.

But before this land sold, that was a really large land payment that the church had to come up with every month and it seemed more out of reach with every passing month and the savings account was going down.

And if you looked in the natural, it was tempting to be stressed and to take it on personal and.

But I was proud of my dad because it was more my job to make sure that money was moved in the right place at the right time, and so I was kind of biting my nails from time to time, but he was steady, he was the rock Cause he was standing on Jesus, the solid rock.

And look what God did.

And I'm telling you it's so much easier, so much like we're able to do so much more being debt free and not being tied down to a mortgage, not being worried about a payment, and not that we ever were.

God always took care of us, but it was the way he took care of us.

It was an absolute miracle, nothing that we could do on our own or of ourselves, Amen.

And so what God did for us corporately as a church, he can do for you individually.

I mean he's able to do the impossible, and so all we have to do is believe, and so, but we have to be steadfast.

We have to be immovable and we have to be steady, Amen, Amen.

Being steadfast, that's what it means.

Number two we must remain a lover of what God loves.

First, john 2, 15 through 17 in the new living says do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you, for the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see and a pride in our achievements and possessions.

These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

And this world is fading away along with everything that people crave.

But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

And so here it's very clear what the word of God says about this world is gonna offer you some things.

It's on a platter.

Will you take it?

Looks nice, see, is you know, but will you take that?

And so here he's saying hey, don't love this world, nor the things of it, don't crave it.

Those are fading away, but God's word doesn't fade away.

That's what remains in every situation in life, amen.

Amen.

And then Psalm 263 in the Passion Translation says I will never lose sight of your steadfast love for me.

Your faithfulness has steadied my steps.

Let me read that again I will never lose sight of your steadfast love for me.

Your faithfulness has steadied my steps.

And so the opposite of being steady is what being unstable?

Being up one day, down the other, happy, sad, you know, just letting the pressures of life get to you.

And here the word says I'm not gonna lose sight of your steadfast love for me, for my family, for my marriage, for my kids, for my coworkers, for this church, no matter the hurt, no matter the offense, I'm not gonna lose sight of your steadfast love, because that's what keeps us steady.

Amen In life.

And so your faithfulness has steadied my steps.

You know, when we think about the faithfulness of God, you know it's only a natural reaction.

Like God, you've been so good to me, I'm gonna be good to somebody else, right.

Like the fruit of the spirit.

When you, when you patience, god, you've been so patient with me, how could I not be patient with somebody else, right?

I think sometimes we just lose focus and I forget about how, god, you've been patient with me and you love me and oh well, if I'm not thinking about that, then how are you?

You're not gonna grow in that area.

But when you think about and when you ponder the faithfulness of God, you freely give patience, you freely give love, you freely blessed are the peacemakers.

You freely, you know, give that out, dish it out because you've been meditating on the faithfulness of God.

God is so faithful, amen.

Mark 11, 22,.

Have the God kind of faith.

But one translation says grab a hold of God's faithfulness.

We say it every time we preach and we quote that scripture, but really his faithfulness is what pulls us through anything, it gets us over anything, and then we speak to the mountain and boom, it dissolves into the sea.

But you know, this point is remain a lover of what God loves, and what does God love?

God loves people, and so we must be a lover of ourselves.

You know we must love people, but we also must love ourselves.

I will never lose sight of your steadfast love for me.

You know he loves us, so we need to love us.

Right, your faithfulness has steadied my steps, you know, and so we are steady, but we're steady for other people.

We're a rock that other people can lean on in situations.

You know you're always gonna have an opportunity to be a shining light to somebody and you're reflecting that light that's on the inside of you.

You know, I was just telling somebody today in a, in a short meeting.

You know how I'm tempted to be a logistics person, right, I have a whole lot that I'm in charge of, so sometimes I will think about Logistics first and and all the organization of things first, and sometimes my brain wants to launch out and start engineering something and I'll start thinking of a problem before we even have a problem and start trying to solve that problem and kind of, you know, jump ahead and it's really all about people.

You know you wouldn't have anything to organize, you wouldn't have any logistics to organize, if it wasn't for people here in the church.

And so I, the Holy Spirit on the inside of me, helps me put people first.

It really it's all about ministry and it's all about love and it's all about, you know, it's real easy for any of us to get selfish, to get just focused on what we're going through and R4 and no more.

But, man, I'm telling you, whether it's the worship team, whether, whether we're ministering together, selina and I, you know there's always we don't have any time for flesh, we don't have any time for ourselves To be distracted by this world.

You know, god is sending thirsty people, hungry people, through the doors and we must be anointed to, to preach them the word and and also to in the praise and the worship as well, and to and Show them a good representation of who God is right, and so we only, might only have one Opportunity to do that.

So let's show up with everything that we have and we do yeah and, and so we don't take one opportunity to preach for granted in front of you.

You know we live our lives as an open book, as a glass house.

You know, we were just at Reema a couple weeks ago and and Miss Lynette Hagan that's pastor Hagan's wife she was very open and honest and just really told the behind-the-scenes story for the first time of how Brother Hagan went to heaven and just how you know who was the all, the whole story of what it felt like, and and all of their emotions and all of their, their thought process and what God did to get a change of leadership installed, and and you know it was.

It was a kind of a difficult trying time, obviously, but God brought them through and so but it was really it was all about me and steady go ahead right.

Well, it just made me think of a, you know faith is for talking about Lynette Hagan, and she didn't know where she had they had been praying, you know everybody had a job and of what to do at the church, and it just made me think faith is for the unknowns of life.

You know, we don't need faith when we can see it right, and so faith is for the unknowns, like I don't know what the future, you know I don't, but God knows, and I have faith.

Right, we have faith.

So that was good, yeah.

I was kind of, you know goes with number three, when I was well, jump ahead.

Sure, go ahead.

Number three remain full of his spirit and full of faith.

Yep amen.

So you know the two ways that we release our faith our pastor teaches us around here, because brother Hagan taught it as well is Is it's through our words and through our actions.

And so the first act of faith is what is to act like?

The Bible is true, yes, amen.

And so we must be men and women of faith, and and you know I was listening you to a clip from Nancy Defrain this week and we love the Defrain ministries.

You can catch them on YouTube.

But Ed Defrain, who was a mighty man of God and would preach here every year for years and probably more than a decade, and he went to heaven back in 2013.

And Nancy, his wife, has taken that ministry and it's exploded and just grown so much and she does such a great job and she's a wonderful teacher of the word of faith.

And she was basically talking about I don't have a really a solid quote here, but that when God hears our confession, what is coming out of our mouth immediately knows our level of interest, our level of interest in him, our level of interest in his plan, and so our confession is a direct reflection of our hunger for God, of our relationship with God, and so we must be.

If we're full of faith, it's gonna come out of your mouth.

It's gonna.

You know, it's gonna be like Selina was talking about earlier.

It's gonna be part of your thought life.

You're not gonna be thinking about what the world has to offer when you're full of faith.

And you know, dad did such a good job this morning preaching on the armor, the whole armor of God, and how it's prayer armor.

And when he got to the shield of faith, he really did a good job of explaining that and how we really are to allow it to be our covering, to be over us, and we think about it here, but it really is.

You know, arrows can come and arc over and it's really our canopy, is our faith and we're full of faith, we're full of the Holy Spirit and because of that we're able to conquer anything that comes our way.

Amen.

That's right, amen.

Proverbs 24-10 in the new living translation says if you fail under pressure, your strength is too small.

And the message it says, if you fall to pieces in a crisis, there wasn't much to you in the first place.

Ouch, read that.

I don't think I had ever read that when I was studying in the message, but I was like ouch.

But you know, sometimes the word is ouch, but it's a good ouch, right.

And so we can't fall to pieces, we can't have wah, wah, wah.

You know, all the time God wants us to be strong.

Our strength, you're strong in the Lord, and that's another good confession every day.

I'm strong in the Lord and the power of His might Like.

Do you ever say that?

Do we?

Yes, we should.

I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might, not my own strength, not how I feel.

No, I'm strong in the Lord and I can, you know, move mountains.

I can conquer anything.

I have the victory through Christ, and so and I know how to walk in the authority.

Yes, and I know how to walk in the authority that God has given us.

And so our words are so powerful, they bring life or death.

Right.

Even your text, those are words.

Right.

Even what you put on Facebook, those are words, your words.

You know they can either cut or they can heal.

And so, when the pressure is on, what do you say, you know?

So it's a good, that's a good question to ask you.

When the heat is on, right, because everybody can be like sweet and have happy words.

When everything's going fine, when you have money in the bank, when all your kids are healed and whole, and you know, everything's just perfect.

But when the pressure, when the heat is on, what do you say?

And so we have to make sure that we're declaring the promises of God, just like Paul did, right, when the pressure was there, and so, and that also, not only does that affect you, but it affects those around you.

So the words affect you, but then it affects, you know, on the ship.

But then everybody on the ship, right.

And so Paul, how you know, he saved all those men, and so, like it was, he focused on that.

Yes, he had an angel of the Lord, but maybe we don't have an angel look, we have an angel but maybe we don't see our angel.

But we have his word.

Amen, I got to see my angel.

Yes, jay did get to see his angel, but not everybody has.

I haven't but Paul.

But we have to make sure our words are lining up with the word of God amen.

So that's how, when pressure is on, that's how we're gonna, you know, get through it by our words, by what we say, you know, by how we're praising.

Are we praising?

We should be praising God, amen, amen, that's right.

Amen.

So again, number one was to remain steadfast, remain confident that God rewards your steadiness.

And number two was remain a lover of what God loves.

And number three remain full of his spirit and full of faith, Amen.

Amen Amen.

Amen.

Would you want to wrap like we can wrap it up?

Okay, we can wrap it up A life that will keep you steady, amen.

Amen.

Father, we thank you for your word that we can stand on.

You are our rock.

You make us impenetrable, lord, that nothing moves us.

No act of the enemy moves us, lord, but we're strong in you and the power of your might that we can know the strategies of the devil.

Lord, we have your strategy that goes against him and we can understand how it is that you're moving in us, lord.

You're moving in us both the will and the due for your good pleasure.

And, lord, we're ambassadors for you everywhere we go and we're full of your word.

We allow this word to penetrate our hearts and to grow and germinate and, lord, we'll seek fruit from this word In the future.

Lord, we'll be faithful to water your word as we grow on your rock that you provided as Christ Jesus.

In Jesus name, thank you.

Father.

I thank you, Lord, that the promises are greater than the pressures in life.

Father, your promises are yes and amen.

Father, I thank you that we remain steadfast in your word.

Father, we are immovable, unshakable Father.

I just thank you, Father, that we are victorious, we are overcomers, we don't allow the enemy to throw those arrows, but we hold up the shield of faith that it quenches those fiery darts and we just thank you, Father, for your word.

Lord, I thank you that it keeps us steady.

Father, we are lovers of your truth, we put on the belt of truth, so we don't believe any lies from the enemy.

We know what John 1010 says that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.

But you sent your son Jesus that we may have a rich and a satisfying life, a life of abundance, Father of abundance, and we just thank you, Father, for the life that you've given us.

Father, this is not from when we get to heaven, but it's here on earth.

Lord, we just thank you.

We walk in it, Father, and we are steadfast.

We are not unstable in our ways, Lord, but we are stable.

Father, we are steadfast and immovable.
