  1. Praise God.

  2. Let's lift our bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.

  3. Say this together.

  4. Say Heavenly Father, I do worship you today and I do thank you for the word that you've sent to me.

  5. Thank you that you didn't leave me as an orphan, but you also sent the Holy Ghost to live and abide in me forever.

  6. Holy Spirit, shine your light on the Word, illuminate it to my spirit so that I can receive all you have for me in Jesus' name, amen, amen.

  7. Let's turn our bibles to two places, both of them in the New Testament 1 Peter, chapter 1, and Romans, chapter 8.

1 Peter 1 chapter mention Romans 8 chapter mention

  8. Let's start with 1 Peter, chapter 1, verse 18, for as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things such as silver and gold from your vain conversation or manner of life received by tradition from your fathers, but understood there, you were redeemed with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

    1 Peter 1:18

  9. And then in Romans, chapter 8, just read this the other day, one of my favorite verses in all the Bible Romans 8, 32,.

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  10. He that spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not, with Him, also freely give us all things.

  11. And then I want to read it in the New English Bible he that spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all.

  12. How shall he not also, with this gift, fail to lavish upon us all?

  13. He has to give?

  14. Hallelujah, he wants to lavish on us all.

  15. He has to give.

  16. And so today I want to start a series entitled Redemptive Realities.

  17. This is the first of four messages that I want to get into you on this year 2023.

  18. God spoke to me in January and really into December about this year and that it's the year of God's power, and God's power is available to bring you things he wants to lavish upon you, the things that Jesus blood bought and paid for.

  19. I mean, do you want to leave anything on the table that Jesus bought and paid for?

  20. I mean, what a waste that would be.

  21. You know, I like the psalms is.

  22. You know, what shall I render unto the Lord for all that he has done for me?

  23. I'll take the cup of salvation, called upon the name of the Lord.

  24. We're going to do that.

  25. In just a little while, we're going to receive communion together.

  26. See, see a list, you know, because this, this communion Sunday, is just all together about our covenant and the blood that purchased these things for us.

  27. It's already been purchased.

  28. It's not something he's got to do.

  29. There's nothing left for him to do.

  30. He wants to lavish upon us Amen, all that he has to give.

  31. You know, in the in the Old Testament, the blood and the glory, or we could say, the blood and the Holy Ghost.

  32. See, both, both things are true.

  33. When, when, when God raised Jesus from the dead, he raised him by the Holy Ghost, but he also another.

  34. Another verse says that he raised him with the glory, the glory.

  35. And so we sang about that this morning, about how Jesus bled and died on the cross.

  36. He shed his blood, he died, he went to hell and then, after the third day, the glory raised him up.

  37. See, the blood and the glory were connected, and so it was in the Old Testament Whenever it was time to anoint Aaron and his sons for the priesthood.

  38. In the Old Testament, the anointing was reserved only for the priests, the prophet and the king, and in the days of Moses there was no king.

  39. God didn't want Israel to ever have a king.

  40. He wanted to be their king.

  41. Moses, the greatest prophet in the Old Testament, was anointed of God.

  42. But there had to be a transfer, there had to be an anointing to come upon Aaron and his sons for the priesthood.

  43. And so when you go back to Leviticus there and read about it, it tells what happened.

  44. Moses wrote Leviticus, so he told what he did in order for that glory or for that Holy Spirit, or for the anointing to come on Aaron and his sons for them to be able to do their jobs.

  45. And it says they took the blood of the ram.

  46. They killed a ram, among other things.

  47. It was quite a ceremony and they had the tabernacle in the wilderness, they had a way to, for God, to shekeena, his glory was in the camp, pillar of fire, by night, cloud by day.

  48. And so they took the blood of the ram and they anointed Aaron and his sons with that blood and put a little of the blood on the tip of his right ear, on his right thumb and on his right great toe.

  49. Aaron and his sons the blood of the ram or the lamb, the blood was shed had to go there first, and then he took of the holy anointing oil.

  50. Not just any oil, not motor oil.

  51. I've used motor oil.

  52. I mean when you gotta have oil sometimes you just use oil.

  53. But back then you had to have a special oil, had spices and had all the things in it.

  54. It was called a holy anointing oil.

  55. It stood, you know, in the Bible.

  56. The oil stood for the Holy Ghost.

  57. And so then, where that blood was, they would put a little of the oil that mixed with the blood on the ear, the thumb and the right toe and then they sprinkled them with the holy anointing oil.

  58. And now the anointing you see the type in the shadow is is the glory or the spirit flows where the blood has been applied.

  59. So you really equivalent terms the glory, the spirit, the power.

  60. It's all equivalent.

  61. Jesus said you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.

  62. What's the necessity where you gotta be saved, you gotta be a bloodbought Christian in order to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

  63. A lot of people got refreshed in the baptism last Sunday.

  64. Some people got filled with the Holy Ghost last Sunday, smoking tongues for the first time, and you know we all ought to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

  65. But one of the ways for us to flow in the spirit of God is to be conscious of what the blood has purchased.

  66. What the blood has done 2,000 years ago, what the blood is doing now, what the blood is gonna be doing.

  67. You gotta have a revelation of the blood of Jesus.

  68. I mean, this is not a bloodless religion.

  69. There's lots of religions on the earth.

  70. This is the one where the only thing that changes is the blood of his son, jesus.

  71. I mean, there's no other blood like it.

  72. The Bible says when he was risen from the dead, he appeared to marry in the garden and she thought he was the gardener.

  73. And she and he said Mary, just her name.

  74. When he said her name, she knew it was the Lord.

  75. She's just a old raboni master.

  76. And she reached out to touch him.

  77. She was there to wrap him up and put the spices on his body and the tomb was empty and she was all in a panic.

  78. What happened to the body?

  79. Where is he?

  80. He thought he was the guard.

  81. Where have you taken him?

  82. What happened to him?

  83. Oh Mary, oh raboni master.

  84. And she tried to touch him.

  85. He said touch me not.

  86. Touch me not, for I've not yet ascended to my God and your God and to my father and your father.

  87. All of a sudden, now God is her father.

  88. What was the significance Cause.

  89. He hadn't taken the blood back to the mercy seat yet.

  90. This is how fresh it was he had just come from defeating the devil, he had just come from leading a train of vanquished foes, he had just been anointed the apostle and high priest of our profession and he had not yet taken the blood.

  91. That precious substance.

  92. There's no other substance like it.

  93. Where is it today?

  94. It's at the mercy seat in heaven, where he is and where we are in him.

  95. He's our advocate with the father.

  96. He's our mediator.

  97. He's the propitiation for all our sins and for the sins of the whole world.

  98. Oh, the precious blood.

  99. We've got to have a revelation of the blood in order to receive all that God wants to lavish upon us.

  100. I don't know about you, but I'm working on my receiver.

  101. My receiver is just needs an update and an upgrade.

  102. Remember those two words we got back in 2020?

  103. Greatest year yet.

  104. See, every year after that's the greatest year yet.

  105. This is the greatest year yet Because God wants to lavish some things on his body and make us witnesses of how wonderful he is.

  106. The good news is not a mean God.

  107. See, that's what the Jews.

  108. The Jews weren't acquainted with God as a father.

  109. Abraham was a father, father Abraham, father Abraham.

  110. But they weren't acquainted with father God.

  111. They were acquainted with the judgment side of God and the fierceness side of God.

  112. Why?

  113. Because they were in continual disobedience.

  114. They had idols, they worshiped idols, and so Jesus came to introduce them to what God is truly like and to us, amen.

  115. So we've got to receive and work on our receiver, update and upgrade.

  116. We're working on this campus and we're doing a little bit here and a little bit there, but as soon as we can, I mean we want to revamp and refurbish everything Children's church, the lobby, the sanctuary.

  117. I mean it's just.

  118. I mean it's time to update and upgrade.

  119. Well, you know, our receivers need to be updated and upgraded.

  120. I mean, if you've got a 15 year old computer because if you do, you probably can't run half of the programs because they keep coming out with programs you got an old Windows computer.

  121. I mean pretty much you're limping along.

  122. Finally, they just said this no longer works on your machine.

  123. At some point you're gonna have to update and upgrade.

  124. You might still have a flip phone.

  125. Well, if it works for you, fine, have a flip phone, it doesn't matter to me, but I've got the latest Apple.

  126. I mean I'm glad I got that phone.

  127. It's got a camera on it that you can't believe.

  128. I can't believe you can take the pictures on an iPhone that you can.

  129. I mean, you can have a whole broadcast.

  130. We broadcast from the Capitol on an iPhone.

  131. It's amazing.

  132. Thank God for updating and upgrading in the natural, but we can update and upgrade in the supernatural, praise God.

  133. You know, one of the things that holds people back is they look at themselves the way that other people look at them.

  134. They look at themselves the way they've always looked at themselves in the mirror.

  135. But when you look at yourself in the mirror, you're not seeing you.

  136. You're seeing your flesh.

  137. I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't look in the mirror.

  138. Some of you maybe need to look a little harder.

  139. No, I'm just joking.

  140. But you haven't seen yourself yourself.

  141. You are a spirit being.

  142. You live in a body and we've got to consult the Word of God.

  143. The Word of God is like a mirror.

  144. We look at this to consult who we are, what we have, what we can do.

  145. Amen, and we're gonna have to update and upgrade the picture that we have of ourselves.

  146. We tend to allow condemnation.

  147. We tend to allow some of the little foxes that we all fight.

  148. We all have imperfections.

  149. Every one of the Bible characters in the Hall of Fame of Faith, hebrews 11, I call it the Hall of Fame of Faith.

  150. You got Moses and Abraham and Sarah and Rahab and you know we've got a whole cast of characters and it says by faith, they by faith.

  151. By faith.

  152. By faith, they obtain from God.

  153. And Enoch walked with God.

  154. For he was not, for he had this testimony.

  155. He pleased God, so he had faith.

  156. I asked the Lord one time how did Enoch have faith?

  157. He said Adam taught him about it.

  158. Adam and I got to do in the math on Adam and Enoch was 57 years old when Adam died.

  159. So their lives overlap 57 years.

  160. And the only great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandson, he's the only one that really listened to Adam about God, because God used to walk with Adam and Adam walked with God in the cool of the day or in the Ruelach and the breath of the day, and he still remembered how that was.

  161. And he got to preaching to Enoch and Enoch decided you know what?

  162. If great, great, great, great, great grand Paul, adam can do it, I can do it.

  163. He started walking with God by faith, his invisible God.

  164. God, he can't see him, but he's walking with him.

  165. And God said you know what I really like?

  166. Your style, come on up here.

  167. And he took him, one of you, and just like you and I, and he's walking around in heaven fleshing blood.

  168. I don't know what, what does he eat?

  169. They must have something up there to eat, I guess, I don't know.

  170. Anyway, all right.

  171. So they had imperfections.

  172. We have imperfections.

  173. You know, the devil is your adversary.

  174. He's a roaring lion walking about seeking whom he may devour.

  175. The way he devours you most mostly is by accusing you.

  176. He tries to accuse you to yourself.

  177. He accuses you to the Father, he accuses you.

  178. Quit agreeing with him.

  179. Why see, when you get a proper understanding of what the blood has done, what the blood is doing, you won't ever let condemnation dog your tracks.

  180. You'll never let these falsehoods Well, yeah, but it's true.

  181. I did see.

  182. Yeah, but you put it under the blood and it's gone.

  183. God doesn't remember it.

  184. Let's quit carrying our baggage over our shoulder.

  185. You know it stinks.

  186. Amen, amen.

  187. Once you confess your sin, god is what Faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you.

  188. Praise God, so as we increase in the revelation of the blood we have boldness to receive.

  189. And one of the greatest stories about that is in Luke 15, the story of the prodigal son for homework Luke 15, 11 to 32.

  190. I'm not gonna read all those verses this morning, but I'm just gonna talk about it.

  191. Trust that you'll go back and look at it because it's worth looking at.

  192. And Jesus was speaking and he's talking about how happy God gets when one sinner repents.

  193. He said there's more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than over 99.

  194. That doesn't need to, you know.

  195. He talks about the woman who's looking for her lost coin and she swept and swept.

  196. She still had some gold, but she had one piece that was missing.

  197. She just looked and looked and looked until she found it.

  198. And so then Jesus said you know, there's one more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents and over 99 that don't need to repent.

  199. Then he said the story it's not a parable because he said there's a certain man who had two sons, the story of the prodigal son, a certain man.

  200. So it wasn't just a parable, and this certain man had two sons.

  201. I call them junior and Bubba.

  202. Junior, of course, is the eldest, bubba is the little brother, just two kids, kind of you know.

  203. So he had two sons, and the younger one, bubba, who wound up being the prodigal, he goes to his dad, says you know, give me the portion of goods that falleth unto me.

  204. Well, I'll tell you what I admire this kid.

  205. I mean, at least he knew he had something coming.

  206. A lot of Christians don't even know what they've got coming.

  207. They keep begging God for something God already gave them.

  208. There's a whole lot of Christians, if they even think that God might heal them, they'll beg God.

  209. Oh, heal me, please, heal me.

  210. They don't know that God already healed them 2000 years ago.

  211. You don't have to beg and ask for healing, just receive it, claim it, make a demand.

  212. He made a demand.

  213. He didn't beg his daddy.

  214. Hey, daddy, please, I wanna get mine now.

  215. Would you please get?

  216. He's just give me the portion of goods that falleth unto me.

  217. So let's just use this as a little stration.

  218. Let's just say daddy, he's got the ponderosa.

  219. He's got, let's just say, for even numbers, 600,000 head of cattle, $5 a head.

  220. And so juniors got the double portion.

  221. The law of the double portion in the Jewish tradition is that the eldest got the double portion, so really legally, and says he divided unto them his living.

  222. He answered the demand.

  223. He divided unto them though he didn't just give Bubba his, he gave Junior his and Junior got twice as much as Bubba because the law of the double portion.

  224. So 600,000 cattle, so Junior got 400,000.

  225. That $5 a head.

  226. He didn't cash out though, he just had the cows $2 million worth of cattle.

  227. But he cashed Junior out.

  228. Junior left with his share, which was a million dollars, $200,000 at $5.

  229. I'm just using round figures so you can understand how much it was as a million bucks.

  230. He left and went to, you know, west Texas, far country, it's like a different country than Houston.

  231. And so he went to West Texas and he's got a million dollars and it said he wasted his living.

  232. See, it was his, it wasn't the father's anymore.

  233. The father divvied up, the father gave it.

  234. Are y'all women?

  235. Now he's still alive.

  236. He didn't wait till he was dead, he went ahead and gave him the share that he wanted.

  237. He cashed him out and he had a million and he wasted it with riotous living, uncontrolled, wild, unrestrained, crazy living.

  238. He probably bought him a chinchilla jacket, chinchilla hat to go with it, probably got him.

  239. A Lambo started betting on the horses you know a fool and his money are soon separated.

  240. So it didn't take long for him to lose all of it, I mean.

  241. And then there was a famine in that land out there.

  242. I think it stays that way pretty much out there, pretty dry.

  243. Ever been to the big bend it hardly ever rains, anyway.

  244. So it was bad and it was winter as their famine.

  245. That means that there's no work.

  246. I mean that means everybody gets laid off.

  247. And he found somebody that would put him to work feeding the hogs.

  248. He said, yeah, you can feed the hogs, you can eat what they eat.

  249. He didn't even have a place to stay and he's out there feeding the hogs and eating what they didn't eat.

  250. I mean that's pretty bad for a Jewish boy man.

  251. And finally he came to himself.

  252. Praise God, some people need to come to themselves today and get sick and tired of being sick and tired.

  253. I've been there, I've been at that place where I finally came to myself.

  254. That's a good place to come to.

  255. He came to himself and says you know how many hired hands of my daddy have?

  256. And they've got plenty of food to eat.

  257. They get three squares and a place to sleep and I'm out here starving.

  258. I know what I'll do.

  259. I'll go back to my father's house and I'll tell my father father, I'm not worthy to be called thy son.

  260. I've sinned before you, heaven, and before you Say he believed in God.

  261. He believed in heaven, he's a believer.

  262. So you know this story.

  263. This testimony is a type in shadow.

  264. Bubba is a type of the backslider and then, as we find out about Junior, junior is a type of the Christian that never strays, grew up in church, stayed in church, never back slid, showed up for everything, but he has not really received everything belongs to him.

  265. We'll get to Junior in a little bit.

  266. So he's got it all rehearsed.

  267. What he's gonna say, he said it out there and he's gonna come back and he's gonna say it to his father.

  268. I mean, he is ready.

  269. He came to himself, he's ready to humble himself, he's ready to get real.

  270. And let's get this straightened out.

  271. So he goes back and the Bible says the father saw him while he was a great distance away.

  272. He's watching for him.

  273. He's looking for him and he went running to him, embraced him and kissed him.

  274. And so Bubba says Father, I've sinned before heaven.

  275. In you, I'm no longer worthy to be called your son.

  276. And he didn't pay a bit of attention.

  277. He went like this.

  278. He snapped his fingers Bring the best robe.

  279. So he's talking to his servants Bring the best robe.

  280. Get some shoes on this boy's feet, put the signet ring on his finger and bring the fatted calf.

  281. It's time to rejoice because this, my son, was dead and now he's alive.

  282. He was lost and now he's found.

  283. It's time for the glory.

  284. It's time to have the glory fall on this.

  285. Whoo glory to God.

  286. The best robe, not someone left over pile of junk, some moth eating thing that they used to scrub the floors with.

  287. Oh yeah, it's a robe.

  288. I didn't know.

  289. That's what this was we're bringing.

  290. No, the best robe, that's his authority.

  291. Get some shoes for his feet.

  292. That's his standing.

  293. Get the signet ring.

  294. That's where he signs documents on behalf of the family business.

  295. God is the best robe.

  296. Documents on behalf of the family business.

  297. God and the sons unlimited.

  298. Are y'all with me now?

  299. No, instead of just getting to live in the bunkhouse and eat at the chuck wagon, he is in the main house and he's the son.

  300. He's reinstalled into his rightful position.

  301. See, while he's over there doing what he did.

  302. He had no revelation of his bloodline.

  303. He had no revelation of the mercy of his father.

  304. Don't we need that this morning?

  305. Don't we need more and more revelation of what the blood has purchased for us?

  306. We're not just sinners saved by grace, we're sons of the most high God and we've got part and parcel of the family business.

  307. If God has it, it's ours.

  308. Does God have it?

  309. Well, it says he owns a cattle on a thousand hills, the world.

  310. They think they own everything, but no, it's God and his sons and daughters.

  311. So you know, junior comes around, the eldest.

  312. What's all this going on here?

  313. What's this party?

  314. I hear music and down.

  315. What's all this?

  316. That's one of the service.

  317. Oh, your brother's here.

  318. He came back and your dad's throwing a party he wouldn't go in.

  319. He's jealous.

  320. He's jealous of the restoration that the father has lavished on someone who had admitted that he wasn't worthy, worthy, he didn't have anything to do with it.

  321. It's his bloodline.

  322. Are y'all getting?

  323. I mean, this is we don't measure up either, but it thought about us, it's about him, it's about what he did.

  324. Come on, lift your hands right now.

  325. Thank God, some of you got some switches turning on.

  326. See, I want you to turn on the switch of faith for 2023.

  327. It's not too late for things to turn way back around from where it's at now.

  328. So the father found out he wouldn't come into the party.

  329. He came out and got son, come on in here, I'm not going in there.

  330. Your son has blown your living on all this riotous living.

  331. See, it wasn't his living.

  332. It was his living.

  333. He had no revelation of inheritance.

  334. I'm not going in there.

  335. He's wasted all of that.

  336. Why?

  337. You never?

  338. Even you never even killed for me a skinny goat.

  339. You hadn't flown any parties for me since, son, all I have is yours the time you wanted you could have it.

  340. He had no revelation of his inheritance none.

  341. And what did he have?

  342. Two million dollars worth of cattle.

  343. I mean a skinny goat.

  344. Are you kidding me?

  345. You could have had a lot of parties if that's what you wanted to do, but where was he?

  346. He's identified with the hired help.

  347. He's out there at you know Brandon cattle.

  348. He's out there eating at the Chuck wagon, probably spends the night out at the bunkhouse more than it does in the main house.

  349. He never sits at the desk inside.

  350. He's never stamping, you know, documents and paying bills and making payroll.

  351. He's never doing anything.

  352. That's daddy.

  353. Daddy does all that.

  354. I'm just, I'm just a kind of a glorified hired help.

  355. I know I'm his son, but I, you know, I'm just a little above.

  356. I want to stay humble.

  357. I need to stay humble.

  358. Well, you need to stay humble, but you need to know what's yours.

  359. No revelation.

  360. Are you with me now Jealous?

  361. So, basically, he had no robe, no shoes and no ring.

  362. Whose fault is that?

  363. The father?

  364. No, it's his fault.

  365. He didn't go in to cause it and get it.

  366. He didn't take it.

  367. It's his, especially the day when the father divided the living between the two of them.

  368. Especially now, maybe, before you could argue.

  369. Well, you know they're not ready yet.

  370. They're young and foolish, and God, and you know daddy, you know it's not going to just turn the ponderosa over to them until they're a little.

  371. See, well, I can understand that side of it.

  372. But then you know, listen, there comes a day when you need to step up and receive.

  373. Everybody say I'm working on my receiver.

  374. My receiver needs updating and upgrading, Upgrading and upgrading.

  375. So when revelation came for Bubba, of his standing, the fatted calf, the music and the dancing and the making merry, the celebration.

  376. That's a type of the glory, that's a type of the anointing, that's a type of the power of God, and so the more we upgrade our understanding of what God has done for us, the more God's power is going to be here on our behalf to bring all the things that he wants to lavish.

  377. Opponents, come on, lift your hands and receive this moment.

  378. Glory to God, hallelujah.

  379. Redemptive realities.

  380. Praise God, and it's just not an accident.

  381. We're receiving communion together with our families, because we just we need to see a list message upwards.

  382. It's just first message.

  383. We've got three other points of view on different aspects and I just want to get into you and raise your sights up.

  384. We live in a time of great turmoil.

  385. There's such lies and deception, there's such inflation of the economy, there's trouble in the world, there's all kinds of crazy stuff going on, and we've got to keep our faith anchored.

  386. And what covenant we have with God?

  387. We have a covenant with Almighty God.

  388. That's all of this.

  389. Other stuff is insignificant compared to what the blood is purchased for us.

  390. All right, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

  391. What do we make of that?
