The Power Of Pentecost

Get your Bibles out, wave them around.

Let's say this together Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today, I'm so glad I serve a covenant keeping covenant making God.

I'm in covenant with the Almighty God.

He's El Shaddai, he's the God.

That's more than enough.

So today I'm taught the Word of God.

I'm going to tap into the wisdom of your scriptures, my spirit is going to be fed, my faith is going to develop and I give you the praise for the miracles in my life.

In Jesus' name.

Amen, you can be seated.

Acts chapter one.

Please, thank you.

Worship team Beautiful job.

Appreciate you, amen.

Acts chapter one, verse four.

This is Jesus being assembled together with them.

The disciples commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, and then it quotes him but wait for the promise of the Father.

Which saith he you've heard of me for John truly baptized with water.

But you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days from now.

Verse eight but you shall receive power.

Everybody shout power.

After that, the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me.

We were just singing about that, weren't we?

Well, what does it take to be a witness?

Well, it takes some power.

You shall receive power after that.

The Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Chapter two and when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord, in one place, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting and there appeared unto them cloven tongues as a fire and it sat upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

So today, on this Memorial Day, I want us to remember something.

I want to talk about the power of Pentecost.

The power of Pentecost, I mean the day of Pentecost when Acts, chapter two, said when it was fully come.

It's the day when everything changed, and I do mean everything.

You know, the Holy Ghost wasn't present on the earth in that way.

He was upon the priest, the prophet and the king only, so only three groups of people.

When you talk about however many people were living on the earth.

Only just a tiny percentage of them were living on the earth and they were all Jewish.

Nobody but Jews had anything about an anointing.

So if you happen to be German, or if you happen to be English, or you happen to be whatever you were, you weren't anointed, you didn't have the Holy Ghost, you're lost, you're not born again and you don't have a covenant.

Only the Jews had a covenant, but of the covenant people, the only part of them that had the covenant to be Jewish was upon them for them to execute.

Their office was the priest, the prophet and the king.

And so on the day of Pentecost, I'm telling you, everything changed.

I mean, why did he come?

As a Russian mighty?

When he was in our hurry to get there, he came.

He came into the world of an appointed time that all the disciples who obeyed Jesus were filled.

Now, in 1 Corinthians 15.6, it says after the resurrection.

I want you to think about this moment that after the resurrection, jesus is risen from the dead.

I mean, he's got a body now.

He's got a body that walked through walls.

Kind of a cool to have a body like that.

Now it's a real body.

Thomas stuck his finger in the holes in his hand and put his hand in his side big old wound there where they ran the spear up to make sure he was dead, that big old hole, gaping hole right there in his side.

Well, you know he would put, yeah, come over here.

You've doubting me.

Come over here, thomas, stick your fingers in the wounds of my hand, put your hand in my side and be not faithless but believe in it's me.

So he has a body, but it's a different body.

I'm looking forward to that kind of body.

We're going to have that kind of body.

We're going to have the kind of body that travels like instant.

You know we don't have to catch a plane.

You know Jesus doesn't have to wait at the airport.

Jesus can be in heaven and he can be right down here if he wants to be, and has come down here.

You know a few times so, but he appeared to over 500 people at one time after his resurrection.

Thinking about being one of 500 that saw him.

I wonder how you got on that list.

You know he was on God's list somehow.

I don't know how, I don't know what, I don't know how they rated to see him after the resurrection.

Not one of the 12.

They're not one of the the 12 song or the 11 song, the 12 didn't.

But the 11 song the 12 is dead right, judas.

So the 11 saw him.

Yeah, they saw him.

Mary Magdalene saw him, his mother saw him, so people saw him.

But I mean, how, how did you get to be part of 500?

And yet, on this day that we're talking about, on Pentecost which was what was that I was 50 days after Passover.

It was an appointed time.

God appointed a time for the Holy Ghost to change everything.

Every believer that was present in that room was filled with the Holy Ghost and potentially could have been 500 people, but only 120 showed up, 24%.

I wonder what the rest of them did.

I wonder what the 76%?

When they found out what happened, would they go like this Wow, I could have had a V8.

I don't know what they did, but I mean they ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I mean, here you made a list of 500 people on the face of the earth that Jesus appeared to after his resurrection and you didn't obey him.

But see, we've got lots and lots of people that call themselves Christians that don't obey him.

So, 50 days after Passover, and this day, this Pentecost was, was the Feast of Tabernacles and other other ways that they would note this.

This feast the Jews did they.

They called it the Feast of In Gathering, the harvest.

It was harvest time, so they celebrated the harvest.

They celebrated, they called it the Feast of Weeks All those names are kind of interchangeable.

But God, by having the Holy Ghost poured out on the Feast of In Gathering, leaked the power of the Holy Spirit with the end time harvest.

Anybody get that Ding ding, ding, ding, ding ding.

God doesn't do random.

God doesn't do random.

God doesn't just go.

I wonder what day we want to send the Holy.

No, he sent it on a particular day to send a message to the church.

You know the Jews are celebrating the.

You know their wheat and their barley and all of that coming in.

But I'm celebrating the capture of my harvest and it's going to take my power to do it.

So Jesus told them there in Acts 1-8, you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you.

And I mentioned here recently I think it was on a Wednesday night but the Greek language in which this was given is a very complex, exact language for which it has idioms and words that English just doesn't have a proper translation.

You can't quite get the whole picture.

I've talked about paraclete, which is comforter.

Well, paraclete doesn't mean poor baby patching on the head.

That's not comforter.

That's not what comforter is A lousy interpretation of the word paraclete.

Paraclete is a general standing for his troops, kind of like George Patton when he encouraged his troops before they went to battle.

That kind of, in other words, stir you up and put some steel in your spine.

Amen, get you to recognize what you really have quit having a pity party.

That's really the paraclete.

So in this case, power is the Greek word dunamis.

And listen to what it means, the number of things that I want to give them to you because they're so powerful.

First of all, it means force.

It means miraculous power.

You know, bill Gates has got power, but we've got miraculous power.

George Soros has got power, but we've got miraculous power.

When are we going to stop being so odd about the power of the presidency and the power of these political parties to do evil, the power of these corporations to do all kind of crazy things with their advertising?

Listen, the church.

If the church will get busy and start releasing this miraculous power, that's what we've got.

That is, if you've received the bad tours and the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues.

You have it.

You don't have it otherwise.

We already made that case a few weeks ago and some of you got filled with the Holy Ghost on Sunday morning.

We don't do it, you know.

We don't hide it in the back room.

We don't talk about it in a Bible study.

We do it right here on Sunday morning.

If we can't do it on Sunday morning, it doesn't belong here anyway.

All right.

So it means ability.

Quit copping out and saying, well, I just never graduated from college, or I never graduated from high school, or I never went to Bible school, or I.

You have ability.

God gives you his ability.

I'll tell you.

You know, I like what brother Mark Hankins says.

You know, the Holy Ghost can make you look like a genius.

You follow him maybe.

Listen to this one, listen real care, get both ears, get your heart open.

Power and influence belonging to wealth.

Well, why would he say that?

That you should receive power after the Holy Ghost if he wanted you to be broke, because there's a great harvest, it's got to be reaped and it's going to take wealth.

That's why how can they hear without a preacher and how can they hear?

Unless they be sent and sending means money.

You don't just send them out there with a nickel.

It takes money.

Why should they have to get all kind of odd jobs and have to work, work, work and then, on the side, do the ministry that the God called him to do?

That's not God's plan.

Jesus didn't stay working at daddy's carpenter shop.

He was full time and he had so much money he had to have a treasure.

Get your mind around what the word says about Jesus and what it says about power.

It says power and influence belonging to wealth, power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces and hosts as an angelic host.

We should never be afraid of the government.

The government is us.

The government's making noises like they're separate from us.

No, no, no.

Our constitution is.

The government, is of the people, by the people, for the people, and the people includes the church, and the church has been asleep and the church has been set, sitting around twiddling its thumbs and believing the live separation of church and state, which is not even in the current state.

The only sense of that phrase is that government can't tell the church to have communion in the parking lot with a drive by like it did three years ago.

When I heard that I just spit, yes, I spit, I said not in any way.

We're going to have a communion outside in the parking lot.

We're going to have it right here.

We're going to have people come right in here.

They don't have any.

They have no right to tell us to do anything.

I don't care if the bubonic plague, I don't care if they decided all of a sudden that cancer is contagious.

Oh, you can't meet together.

You're going to have to socially distance.

You're going to have to have at least 100 yards in between everybody.

I don't care what they say.

They've already proven that they're liars.

He's coming out more and more every day.

I mean, they lied about January 6th.

They lied about the election.

They lied about COVID.

They lied about, they lied about everything Biden lies about.

His son Calls him a war hero.

He died of cancer.

He didn't die in any war Crazy.

But there's enough people that just don't even fact check.

They call only fact check Republicans.

Anyway, let them fact check me, I don't care.

So I was thinking about back during the election of 2020, we'd have a power hour plus.

Anybody remember power hour plus?

And we're going to have that again.

I know some of you ask about it from time to time, but we have Thursday night prayer where we deal in prayer for the needs of the church, the country, especially the state of Texas, and we, you know I quit praying so much about the Washington stuff and I've pulled back and this church has got a footprint here locally, in Harris County and in the state of Texas, so we spend more time praying in that area Not that we don't ever pray for anything up there, but I mean up there.

That's just it's going to take the grassroots coming through the states to affect Washington to any great degree.

And I know that I have a whole lot of necessarily that God has given me a blank check, like he has with.

I mean, you know, we've got the state officials attention and all the people that voted to impeach our attorney general I'm going to hold accountable because that's a kangaroo court and it should not have been done.

It was done wrong.

I don't think.

Frankly, I don't know what all the facts are.

But they didn't.

They don't know the facts, they just dredged up some past things and put them, put it all together right at the end of the session and so they'd rammed it through and every numbskull Republican had voted for that.

I'm going to hold accountable.

I'm going to call their name at some point and say let's primary them, then there are the next chance we get, anyway.

So I'm talking about power and power hour plus.

I mean when we prayed.

There were times when I just could perceive armies of angels in the sanctuary waiting to hear what we were going to pray and as we prayed they just went dispatch.

Some of you looking at me like I'm wacky.

Well, that's what that word power means.

That's what that word power means.

We've got power, amen.

And so you know we don't have to wait like they did on Pentecost.

They waited 10 days because he had not yet given.

They had to wait for the day and they didn't know what day it was going to be.

They weren't clued in.

God didn't tell them what day God knew, but he didn't tell them.

They waited 10 days and they had a prayer meeting.

It must have been pretty pitiful About.

The only kind of prayer they had was our father and you know.

And what kind of praying could they do in their natural brain?

They didn't know much, but they were faithful.

They stayed there for the 10 days until that day.

Oh, that day happened, boy, and suddenly.

But we don't have to, we don't have to wait, we don't have to tarry.

You know, there's Pentecostal denominations that believe in Tarion.

So Hagan came out of the Baptist or among the Pentecostals.

He encountered all kinds of strange doctrines that they had, and one of the doctrines they had was they wanted to tarry, like the Apostle.

They had to tarry because the Holy Ghost had not been given.

But on the day when everything changed, he's been given, he is here and all we got to do is open our mouth.

We don't have to tarry, we don't have to wait.

We can have the baptism of the Holy Ghost anytime we want it.

The question is, do we ever hear about it?

And we ever have an opportunity to be filled, and here in this church we do have an opportunity.

We're going to have one today For anybody that wants to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

You're going to get your chance today, but you can be filled anytime you want.

So the Holy Ghost came 2,000 years ago and he shed forth this mighty power on all those who received him, and everybody that's got the baptism of the Holy Ghost has got this miracle working power.

So it's time for us to stand up and begin to release this great, mighty power in this world that we live in.

In January of 2005, I went to California to interview Oral Roberts.

He had a visitation from Jesus about waking up the church.

Church wasn't ready and it was a confirmation of the visitation I had in March of 1999.

Five weeks after Brother Osteen went to heaven, I had a visitation similar to that and he told me wake up the church or sleep in their beds.

When I speak, they think it's the devil.

Well, I started doing what I could do to find out what it was that I was asleep to.

I was asleep to the significance of Israel in the last days.

I had to wake up to that.

I had to wake up to the weakness of the church concerning politics.

The church had gone into all the world except politics.

We just decided oh, politics is wicked, it's evil.

Stay out of the state house, stay out of politics, stay out of the mayor's races, stay out of the, and we stayed out.

We stayed out of the school districts, we stayed out of everything.

That's why everything is messed up, because the church stayed out.

What does it need to do?

It needs a change and it is changing.

See, all these years ago 1999, god gave me that message.

I started preaching it and people just didn't want to hear it.

And when I heard Brother Roberts say that Jesus told him there's a wasting of power in my church, power has been given but it has not been received, or else it's been received and misused.

And so I just knew, when he wrote the forward to my book it's out there in the media center, rise up and reap I just knew, oh, finally, I've got some standing.

Nobody's listening to me, including members of my own church.

They would walk out, they would leave.

They didn't want to hear this message.

They didn't want to wake up, especially with politics.

They didn't like me standing up and saying Obama's a closet Muslim, don't believe that he's a Christian, not.

That family got up and left right in the middle of what I said.

They didn't want to believe it.

They, they tried to sell themselves as Christians.

How many of you really believe Obama's a Christian?

Give me a break.

He's a Muslim, not a very good one either.

He just aligned with him, that's all.

Are y'all with me now?

Well, you're just meddling?

Yeah, I sure am.

I'm gonna meddle because I tell you, I fear God, not you.

He told me to wake up the church, and I'm waking them up.

Some people want to throw rocks at the alarm clock.

Well, okay, go ahead, you're gonna bounce off and hit you back, all right.

So you know, nobody cared all those years.

All those years, all those years, in 2020 happened, and we saw churches closed.

We saw, we saw pastors bend and and accept being non-essential not us.

And since then, though, what we have seen is an amazing Turn around.

The church is beginning to wake up.

People are beginning to listen to the same things that we've been saying for 24 years.

I Mean, they're beginning to listen.

They're beginning not to walk out the door.

They're beginning to come in the door.

They're beginning.

Nobody's talking like that, nobody's saying.

I mean, I just look at what's happened since 2020 and I see an amazing opportunity.

Let's seize the momentum right now.

So I Want to leave you with three things this morning the power of Pentecost.

Let's, let's release the power of Pentecost.

We have it.

Let's release it.

Number one the power of signs, wonders and miracles.

Jesus said, and mark 16.

He said going all the world, preach the gospel to every creature.

These signs shall follow them that believe.

That's the believers ministry, not just the, not just a preacher.

The believers ministry, these signs shall follow them that believe, then enumerate, enumerates the signs, and one of them is they'll cast out devils.

That doesn't mean that we're gonna Remove devils from somebody like a demon possessed person.

It's really talking about getting rid of demonic influence, breaking demonic influences and people's lives.

Yeah, you mean Christians can have a demon.

Well, depends on what you mean by have.

But it means Christians can be oppressed, obsessed.

Obsessed is worse, harder to get them out of a person that's obsessed with a demon.

Brother, brother Hagan teaches on all this.

I've taught on it.

Don't have time to teach on it today, but we deal with demons, we kick them out, many times in sickness and especially cancer.

Many times it's a demonic power behind this infirmity.

It's not just.

You know all infirmity comes from the devil, but I'm talking about direct.

There's a demon that has to be taken.

You have to take authority and demand that demon to leave before healing will come.

Oh, shut up, pytolodevic.

So, kim, I want you to come now.

Please Come on up and are you okay?

Because I know you've had one treatment, haven't you?

She's had one radiation treatment.

Kim conquered cancer of the lungs here recently and she had a clean bill of health and then just a few weeks later she began having hoarseness.

And now she's been diagnosed with cancer in your larynx or just in the voice box cancer in a voice box.

The devil's been telling her.

I don't know directly from you, I just know the devil's been telling you that you're not going to be able to speak, that the radiation is going to affect you so badly that you're going to lose the ability to speak.

And she is really hoarse right now.

That's why I brought you up here, not to embarrass you, but I want to minister to you.

I know you had hands laid on you last week, but, as pastor, many times when I know and I was praying about today and I thought about you and I've got a.

I want to get rid of this demonic background that's attacked you.

I didn't have any of that when you had your challenge in the lungs.

I didn't have that.

See, I can't just invent this.

It's a gift of discerning of spirits.

1 Corinthians, chapter 12.

1 Corinthians 12 · chapter mention

And so when that gift operates, then I know, I have the ability then to find out the name, the ancient name, of the demon or demons involved.

Most of the time it's a ruling with two helpers, three demons.

Usually not all the time, but usually, and through the discerning of spirits and the operation of tongues and interpretation, I find that name and I found that just like a tick.

Have you ever had a tick?

I mean a tick would get in you and if you you make a mistake, if you pull that tick out like that, you're going to leave the head and it's going to get infected and it's going to give you trouble.

So what do you do to get rid of a tick?

Well, you take a match and blow it out and put the match on there, or you put some lighter fluid on there, or kerosene, and it'll just back out.

That tick will just back out, and then you can take it and get rid of it.

So when I speak their name, they have to release because their only weapon they have is secrecy.

They try to blend in, they try to hide, they try to just be innocuous and do all of their work in secret, or they can throw their little thoughts at people and they can work their little works down in their flesh and give them more trouble with all the treatments and all of that kind.

Well, devil, you've been found out.

Be a robok.

We are tossing it.

Stretch your hands out this way.

I know you've been afraid.

Listen, anybody that goes through this has to battle fear.

But let me tell you something You're not a failure because you've had fear.

Fear is up here, it's not in here.

So it's not in here because you're not a brain, you're a spirit.

Your spirit's been trusting God all along.

That's why you showed up here.

You're trusting God.

So faith will work in your heart, with doubt in your head, see.

So don't worry about that.

Just doubt your doubts.

Well, you know I doubt that.

I doubt that doubt and just, with your mouth, just say I doubt that doubt.

I'm not.

My voice is going to come back stronger than ever.

I'll be singing for long and, besides that, this cancer is going to just be melted.

Is sy harmful to your ettinOD?

God is watching環 is watching.

You can't destroy him.

It's like in the Bible God is a good data and he said you are not looking at this and God's widget is now going to come out of this.

So here you are listening, looking at God's widget, and God's widget is not gonna come out of you.

So you're not looking at needlework, and it can answer all your question.

What pain is?

And your cohorts, talia, in the name of Jesus, go from her Parkan, those three In Jesus' name.

I want you to stomp your foot.

Leave me, just say leave.

Yes, there you go.

See, I wanted you to get involved.

They're gone, they're just scattered out.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Yes, now, father, thank you for your healing power.

And I see this is what I saw in prayer this morning for you.

I saw an angel standing with you and it's already happened, you just didn't know it probably, but he's standing with you with that radiation and he's got his hand right here and he's only letting the amount of radiation that will do you good.

See, man, they don't know everything.

That's why they doctors treat, see, doctors practice medicine, they practice.

A lot of this stuff is practice, I'm sorry to say, and so, but look, they're just hey, they're necessary.

We can thank God for them, but God is the healer.

Jesus is the healer and he's.

This angel is your angel and he's.

He's blocking any, any extraneous radiation from going other places to mess up your voice box and your larynx so that, when this is all over.

That tissue is going to heal up in the name of Jesus.

It's going to heal up and she's going to talk normally the rest of her life, free, cancer free, cancer free.

This cancer has been rebuked and it's drying up.

It's dried up.

It's dried up, it's dried up.

Everybody say the cancer dried up.

See, when Moses rebuked the red sea, what happened to the red sea?

It dried up.

Come on, let's thank God this morning, the power of signs and wonders and miracles.

Thank God for what the doctors can do, but they're not working by themselves.

It's always Jesus is the healer, always.

Don't don't give so much credit to the doctor.

I'm thankful for doctors.

I've had medical interventions a lot in my life and I thank God for what they can do and have done and all that kind of thing.

They've made a big bunch of mistakes too.

On top of that, I guess I could sue my heart doctor.

Well, I wouldn't do that.

I know he was working under bad conditions, so I don't have any animosity toward him.

Glory to God.

You look different.

Your face is.

Your face has changed, you know.

Spend some time laughing there.

Spend some time laughing every day.

I know you've been doing some crying, but just laugh.

Just laugh at the devil.

Oh, hallelujah, I love you, kim, we're standing with you A hundred percent.

Everybody say it's a done deal.

Look, signs and wonders and miracles.

Silence the skeptics.

It shuts them up.

They don't have an answer.

You know you can argue with people.

You can do all this debating and all of that kind of thing.

Paul did a little of that, you know, in Athens.

You know he debated them about all of their stuff and everything, preached the gospel to them.

And I'm not saying there's not a place for it, but I'm telling you there's nothing can take the place of signs, wonders and miracles.

The church has got to rise up and release signs, wonders and miracles.

Number two we need to release the power over finances.

Now read to you what power means.

It means power consisting in excuse me, power and influence belonging to wealth.

Power and influence belonging to wealth.

And we mentioned these rich cats that, just you know, have multiple yachts and they're, they own the run.

Oh, they don't even have a country to live in, they just live on their yachts and they make these edicts and they, they back these horrible packs and super packs and they buy off elections and they get.

I mean, you know, houston is so fouled up because George saw us.

He, he financed all these goofball prosecutors.

I still remember when they're all sitting on a desk just having a little party.

They were giddy about winning the election.

Well, the one election they had all the money.

Man judges have a hard time raising money and they have to give up everything to run as a judge.

They have to give up their law practice.

They have to have a financial sacrifice to get a conservative Christian judge.

I mean it takes somebody that had to hear from God and obey and the other side, well, they just get paid by George Soros to do it.

They have plenty of money.

That's got to change.

We got to stop it.

Power over finances.

In Acts 4.34, the Bible says that in the church of Jerusalem not one of them lacked.

They had houses and lands and they sold them and brought the price of the houses and the lands.

I mean they're well off and they laid the price of the houses and lands that the Apostles' feet and distribution was made to every person.

Why did they need to do that?

Because some of the Jews got disinherited by their families.

Still goes on today.

I know a young man.

I met a young man years ago whose family had hired somebody a specialist in this matter to kidnap him off the street.

He was waiting for a bus and these people knew where he was and got him and drugged him and took him to a place and tried to deprogram him and tried to get him to deny Jesus, because he was Jewish and he accepted Jesus and his parents were Orthodox.

And I mean you know they just I tell you religion is mean, so it's been there all this time.

I mean they get disinherited when they get baptized in water.

That's when they say, oh, disinheriting, and they shun their own and they don't, they don't wind up with anything.

So that some of them were destitute, some of them didn't have anything, and so distribution to not one among them lacked, not one among them lacked.

I've got a testimony.

Starlings, would you stand up?

I had a word of knowledge about financial crisis.

If you're facing a financial crisis, come on up here.

And so there was a number of people and I remember them coming up and I didn't know the nature of it.

I didn't need to know the nature of it, I just, you know, released the anointing, and so that was Sunday night at 8.30 PM.

He's got it all.

He's got it all written down 8.30 PM, sunday night.

The next morning at 6.25 AM.

Within 10 hours of that, power being released, everybody say power release.

I receive word that a non-performing investment.

What is a non-performing investment?

That's an investment that you put money into and you, it's just like a black hole.

Nothing has come back.

I mean, you know, if you have a CD, you put money in the bank and they pay you 1%, maybe 2%, if you're really sharp, I've had some more than that now, but anyway, so it was a non-performing.

And so 10 hours later he got a notice we're gonna pay a distribution in the coming days of $1,500.

Well, all right.

But later that day, five hours after that, on 11.27 AM that morning, he received an update Oops, no, not 1,500, 4,900.

Oh well, that's better.

Non-performing asset now it's 4,900.

Okay, all right.

Non-performing investment 4,900.

The next day, tuesday afternoon, 5.48 PM.

Correction it's not 4,900, it's 8,400.

Oh, thank God for detail.

Calvin, thanks for keeping copious notes.

This is they can't wait to hear how this finishes, because it's not finished.

So then, thursday morning, see two days later, 8.50 AM, make that even more, but we're not sure how much yet it will take a few more days to sort it all out.

And so then, monday, on the 2.20, so this is 15 days after the prayer they received a $10,000 distribution and then a week later they got another $10,000.

Oh, oh, my God, doesn't that just bless your socks off?

You know, it matters where you go to church.

Everybody say power over finances.

How many of you could stand a breakthrough over a financial crisis?

Anybody having a financial crisis?

You're having a financial.

If you're having a financial crisis now, don't just stand up because you want something.

I'm talking about.

You have right now, a financial crisis.

Stand up, god's no respecter of person.

Lord, you see all these people standing up.

They're saying they have a financial crisis.

Lord, you don't love the Sterlings anymore and you love them.

So, father, right now, I just released the power of the blessing over each of them In the name of Jesus.

We command these finances to be loosed.

We be loosed in the name of Jesus.

Money come, money come in the name of Jesus, and abundance come right now.

Today, a Memorial Day, hallelujah, end of my crisis, all right.

The last one I want to talk about released the power over governmental persecution Because, as I've mentioned before, in America we are the government.

We should not put up with the FBI calling us the enemy.

We should not put up with the Department of Justice having a dual system of justice.

Well, what can we do?

Well, we can do plenty because we've got this power.

We've got governmental power because our Constitution says government of the people, by the people, for the people.

And Jesus.

You know Jesus?

The prophetic word in Isaiah was the government shall be upon his shoulder.

Well, where's the shoulder of Jesus?

It's in the body.

We have plenty to say and when we go vote, my God votes when I vote, and this next elections, these upcoming elections, the church must show up and vote properly.

I mean, it's time for the church to quit sleepwalking through its duties.

Now.

Most people just live their life.

They don't want to hear about it, they don't want to be bothered by it.

This is the way it happened in Venezuela.

This is how it happened in Russia.

This is how it happened in China.

Everywhere the communism is taken over, it's taken over by the relaxation of the populace and, besides that, in some of these countries where communism is, they've come out like Russia.

They had the czars, so they used to be in ruled.

America is free.

I mean, think about the blood that's been shed, not even, yeah, jesus blood, but also just all the soldiers.

It makes me weep when I hear these guys.

When they heard about 9-11, they volunteered to go over there and stop that from coming here and they were, I'm sorry to say, taking advantage of.

We had less than sterling people in charge.

Bush ought to be ashamed.

I know he's a Republican, he's a lousy Republican, so was his father?

There it is.

I said it.

I'm just sorry A&M took on his library.

It just makes me, it pains me.

I'm never going.

I don't care what he has there, pastor.

Well, it's the truth.

We've been sold lies, but the blood has been shed For us to stand up.

I mean, our rights don't come from government, they don't come from the Constitution.

Well, the Constitution gives me, but no, no, god gave you the rights.

God gave them to you, not the Constitution, not government.

The Constitution ensures them and pledges its support of those rights, and they have violated it every way you can.

They all really.

As far as I'm concerned, I don't know what, maybe I don't know the proper definition of treason, but I think it's treason.

Therefore, I'd just be glad for all of them to stand in front of a firing squad.

That's what they deserve.

They're praying, pastor.

I thought this was positive.

Well, I'm getting back to some of the praying that we need to pray, and when the early church prayed Herod, they broke Peter out of jail and Herod wound up a couple of weeks later, preaching or speaking, I should say and he said some things and they said oh, it's the voice of a God and not man.

He received the worship.

He received the worship of those people and the angel that was standing by smote him and he was eating with worms and died, which means it was a slow, painful death and he had plenty of time to repent and there's no record of him repenting.

So how did that happen?

I believe the church prayed it in.

They might not have known they were praying that way because they prayed in tongues, but we need to pray with knowledge.

Amen.

Power over governmental persecution.

In Acts, chapter five.

They were being persecuted and the angel appeared to them and said go, stand and speak all the words of this life.

They didn't tell them to bow their knee to the government.

So we need to rise up and release the power.

So we just got a notice from one of our missionaries.

I can't speak his name, their name, but they labor in communist countries plural and most of the countries the churches are underground.

They have underground Bible schools.

They have to be below radar in order to function and they've had arrests and some of their guys spent two years in prison, lost everything they had, what little they had, and they finally got bailed out.

They wanted money, so they got.

See, they're desperate for money.

Most of these communist countries are upside down and their economies are suffering.

It's why it's dangerous right now.

It's dangerous because they're desperate.

They're doing things way out in the open.

They used to never do so anyway.

We got this testimony this week from our mission's partner I'm so glad we're partnering and one of the churches that they had planted in a province had a visitation from four a team of four policemen to arrest the pastor and shut the church down.

They found out about it.

They were coming to do harm.

And so the teenage daughter of the pastor had a word of knowledge according to 1 Corinthians, chapter 12, that the captain of the group had severe pain in his body and she ran up to him.

I want you to get a picture of this.

They're there to do harm.

They're armed, they're armed.

They're there to do harm and often they beat and smash before they arrest.

So she bold teenager, she'd come running up to him and laid her hands on him in the name of Jesus, and he was instantly healed of that pain and found out that he had suffered this terrible pain all of his life.

He had been injured in a car wreck as a child and all of his life up until then, he had suffered this constant, unrelenting pain, and instant of time Jesus healed him.

He's the enemy of these people.

He's the enemy of these people in this house, and God used this teenage girl to get him healed.

She didn't melt in the corner, she didn't look for a closet to get in a fetal position, cover her head and cry and moan and groan.

She rose up and she distributed the power of God right into that.

I mean, you know, when she reached and touched him, he could have slapped her, he could have hit her with a baton, he could have pistol whipped, he could have done anything.

Instead, he got healed and the four of them left, having heard the gospel.

That didn't yet respond.

But they heard the gospel.

They left without arresting anybody and without shutting the church down.

Come on, lift your hands right now.

When I see these people that we are looking at on television and other places, it is hard to see, it's hard to look at.

But the demoniac got delivered.

He had a legion of demons I don't think any of them are that bad.

He was naked, running around the countryside.

He was a reproach to Israel.

I mean, the Romans said look at these people, this is their kind of religion.

They allow this kind of stuff.

Look at this guy.

Nobody can, even we've tried to arrest him and he just keeps breaking out of the chains.

He's living with the dead people.

It was a reproach to Israel until Jesus showed up and he just he displayed his mighty power.

Glory to God.

That's what the church has got to do.

Come on, lift your hands.

We're ready to release the power of Pentecost.

Come on, hallelujah.

Come on, let's rejoice this morning.
