  1. Pick our bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and devil mad.

  2. Let's get into the word together.

  3. Let's say this together Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad for the Word of God and for the Holy Ghost.

  4. I'm so glad that I was here tonight to be in this atmosphere.

  5. It's ripe for miracles.

  6. It's ripe to receive revelation of your Word that will build my faith so that I can start operating in a higher level of success.

  7. Yes, god wants me successful in Jesus' name, amen.

  8. All right, let's turn in our bibles to Hebrews, chapter three, and we'll start reading with verse 12.

  9. I keep preaching out of Hebrews even though my Bible is falling apart.

  10. My Hebrews pages are falling out of my Bible, but people whose bibles are falling apart usually aren't so.

  11. Praise the Lord, thank God, I'm not falling apart.

  12. I'm not falling apart.

  13. Hebrews three, 12.

  14. I read this verse this morning.

  15. We were talking about defeating deception, and defeating demonic tactics was part two, and I read this verse this morning, verse 12.

  16. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.

  17. Notice this is written to Christians.

  18. Hebrews is written to Christians.

  19. So they're born again, they're saved, they're blood washed, blood bought, and yet they can depart.

  20. See, we're not robots.

  21. We don't have to stay saved.

  22. Once we're saved, we can depart.

  23. And so he's warning them, warning the Hebrews.

  24. But exhort one another daily.

  25. Say that's what we're doing tonight, coming to church.

  26. We can depart one another once a year Christmas, once a year at Easter.

  27. No daily.

  28. See a church, a member of a church ought to be in contact with other members.

  29. You ought to have your friends should be members of your church.

  30. Really ideally.

  31. It's gotten.

  32. We've gotten away from it in this society because we have so many what we call friends.

  33. Well, they're really not friends If they're not exhorting you about the word.

  34. Really, friends are acquaintances and a friend is gonna tell you the truth when you need to hear it.

  35. Amen, it's all right.

  36. Enough of that.

  37. So exhort one another daily.

  38. What's called a day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

  39. So our spirit can get hardened if we give ourselves permission to just live below what God's standard is.

  40. God has a standard.

  41. What is the standard?

  42. It's love.

  43. The only commandment we have to obey is love.

  44. So when we get kind of arrogant and we quit walking in love, you know and we don't confess it and we don't ask God to forgive us, we don't get it under the blood.

  45. Well, it begins to harden us until we get to the place eventually.

  46. It might not happen in the first year or two, but you know, I've seen this happen when Christians that I respected and loved, and even ministers, got so hardened from just little things that they wouldn't reign in.

  47. There's arrogance, jealousy, envy, competition.

  48. You know some preachers are just too big for their britches and expect everybody to lick their boot.

  49. Listen.

  50. I mean, it's right to honor the preacher, but it's not right for the preacher to demand a bunch of extra stuff.

  51. And so you know, you can get up on the wrong side of the love walk and eventually you can harden yourself so much that you don't listen.

  52. Now You're not hearing what God is trying to get through to you.

  53. So first 14, for we are made partakers of Christ if, boy, there's a big, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast for a couple of weeks, a couple of months, unto the end.

  54. God expects lifelong fidelity to him.

  55. He expects loyalty and faithfulness forever, once we get saved.

  56. It's not just a temporary deal like it is in this world when we you know a lot of people get married and then they get divorced, and that's the society we live in.

  57. And there's life after divorce?

  58. There certainly is, but the casual attitude of the world is creeping into the church, and so we got to guard against that.

  59. We got to guard against that, and so, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end, while it is said today, if you will hear his voice hard and not, your heart is in the provocation for some, when they had heard, did provoke.

  60. Now he's talking about Israel.

  61. How be it not all that came out of Egypt by Moses?

  62. But with whom was he grieved 40 years?

  63. Was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

  64. And to whom did he swear that they should not enter into his rest?

  65. But to them that believed not.

  66. So we see that they could not enter in to the promised land.

  67. Why?

  68. Because of unbelief.

  69. Verse four, chapter four, verse one.

  70. Let us therefore, let us see I'm talking about Israel.

  71. But now let me turn back to you, hebrew Christians, and to us tonight.

  72. Talking to you, I'm talking to you, believers, I'm talking to you, bible toting, tongue talking, spirit filled, believers, see, let us therefore fear lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest.

  73. Any of you should seem to come short of it, for under us was the gospel preached, as well as under them.

  74. But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

  75. Not becoming united with faith.

  76. My margin says they were not united by faith to what they heard.

  77. They were not united by faith to what they heard and so they fell short.

  78. They came short.

  79. I know none of you have ever come short.

  80. I've come short a few times.

  81. You can be a believer and then fall short because of unbelief.

  82. So tonight I wanted to talk about the profitable word.

  83. The word was preached and it didn't profit them.

  84. The profitable word.

  85. How many of you interested in having the word be profitable to you?

  86. Because that's what it's designed to do.

  87. It's designed to profit you, but you have to believe it.

  88. You have to mix faith with what you hear, and that's why it's so important to trust your pastor.

  89. It's important to honor the pastor and believe that he knows what he's talking about.

  90. If you don't understand, give him the benefit of the doubt until you can grow up enough to understand what he's saying.

  91. Sometimes, you know, pastors have to preach to everybody that's present.

  92. So sometimes when you're, you know, he might say something.

  93. I think last Sunday, when I started talking about the gap there and I talked about pre-adamic creation, I think I left a few of them kind of wondering what in the world I was talking about.

  94. They'd never heard of such a thing.

  95. But you know, I've been around a while, I've heard it expounded pretty completely as well as you can.

  96. When it's not printed in the word, I mean that's not in the Bible You've got to be careful about extra Bible revelation.

  97. But that revelation is consistent with the evidence.

  98. It's consistent with what we're experiencing.

  99. And so you know, I've heard people that are so religious and so you know they believe that God created the heaven and earth and it's just 5,000 years old.

  100. Well, I'm sorry, it's older than that, because the earth became without forming board.

  101. He didn't ever create it like that.

  102. It became that way.

  103. When did he come that way?

  104. When the devil was thrown out of heaven and hit the earth.

  105. So anyway, that was my theory and I think I left a few people by it.

  106. Well, if they're wise, if they don't understand it, they put it on the shelf.

  107. So when that pastor was saying something.

  108. I don't understand it.

  109. I'm going to put it on the shelf Instead of rejecting it.

  110. You might grow up enough to where you can pull it off the shelf and get some use out of it, alright, so let's fear.

  111. In other words, you know, don't think that you've got it made, that you know it all.

  112. If you don't have any more to learn about God's Word I mean God's Word.

  113. He wants it to be profitable to you, but you have to be continually hungry for it and ready to be instructed.

  114. So the profitable Word has to be preached.

  115. That's why I'm preaching it.

  116. But then it has to be heard.

  117. When I say heard, I don't mean heard with these ears, I mean it has to be received into your spirit.

  118. It has to be understood, it has to be treated as revelation.

  119. God has got to reveal it to you.

  120. And we talked about Peter recently.

  121. You know, jesus said you know who do men say that I am?

  122. Well, some people say that you're John the Baptist.

  123. Some say that you're Elijah.

  124. Some say you're the prophet.

  125. Well, who do you say I am?

  126. And Peter, he stood right up.

  127. Simon, simon, peter, he stood right up.

  128. He says Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

  129. He said blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Joan.

  130. A flesh and blood did not reveal that to you, but my Father, which is in heaven, thou art Peter.

  131. He gave him a new name.

  132. Thou art a piece of the rock.

  133. But upon this great rock, what was the great rock?

  134. Revelation, knowledge.

  135. I will build my church in the gates of hell when I'll reveal against it.

  136. So we need a revelation of what's being preached.

  137. It has to be preached first, but then you've got to have a revelation of it.

  138. The revelation can come right now, when I'm preaching it, or it can come later when you look over your notes.

  139. It's why it's good to take notes and reread them and look at them and meditate upon the word that you heard, and then sometimes the revelation can come later.

  140. And when the revelation comes, that's when your faith is built.

  141. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  142. The word of hearing means revelation.

  143. It means understanding.

  144. It doesn't just mean in one ear and out the other, or head knowledge.

  145. A lot of people have head knowledge of the Word.

  146. They've got head knowledge of the Word, but that doesn't mean they have any faith.

  147. Faith is built on revelation.

  148. So you have to mix faith with what you hear.

  149. You have to mix faith with it.

  150. You say, yeah, I believe.

  151. That when you say I believe, that doesn't mean that you mentally agree.

  152. It means you're going to act upon it.

  153. You're going to act like that word is true and act like it's true.

  154. And otherwise it says here one comes up short of the promise, you come up short.

  155. God doesn't want you to come up short.

  156. He gave you a profitable word.

  157. So unbelief versus faith.

  158. So here in these verses, he uses Israel not to dis-Israel, not to embarrass Israel, but everything that happened to Israel we heard this this morning on the message this morning.

  159. It happened for our example, unto whom the ends of the age are come.

  160. And so I like to read the Old Testament as an instruction manual of what not to do.

  161. I mean, they made so many stupid mistakes for a long, long, long time.

  162. I mean, you know they just had to have a king.

  163. You know, after all the mistakes they made, they had all these mistakes they made and then, finally, they just insisted on having a king.

  164. And the prophet Samuel told him no, you can't have a king, he doesn't want you to have a king.

  165. And they insisted and he went to God.

  166. God said give him a king.

  167. They're not going to like it.

  168. Give him one anyway.

  169. He gave him Saul.

  170. Saul was a lousy king, but he was exactly the kind of king they would have chosen if they had voted.

  171. They didn't vote, they didn't have any voting, but they would have chosen Saul because Saul looked so good.

  172. He's head and shoulders above everybody.

  173. He was handsome, dude man, he was humble, in fact he was too humble really.

  174. And then, when he got to be king, he lost that humility and got into pride.

  175. See, he had a lot of problems and God knew every one of them.

  176. So he wasn't God's choice, it was Israel's choice and they didn't like him.

  177. They were stuck with him.

  178. So you start reading about Israel.

  179. Be careful what you ask for.

  180. You might get it.

  181. You know.

  182. Let's make sure he wants it before we want it.

  183. So unbelief kept them out of the promise land.

  184. What's the promise land?

  185. It's not heaven.

  186. The promise land is not a type of heaven, because the promise land has giants.

  187. There's no giants in heaven, except for God, of course, but I mean there's no giants, there's no enemies.

  188. So the promise land can't be a type of heaven.

  189. The promise land is a type of of our inheritance.

  190. It's a type of everything we get because of the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the fact that we have authority and power on the earth, that we can Possess those things that that God has assigned to us, and that's a discovery God discovers and we get to discover everything that belongs to us.

  191. Of course, health and healing belong to us.

  192. I die, everybody.

  193. But there are other things you know, just like this ministry.

  194. I mean I, I didn't.

  195. I mean I knew I was called to preach, but I didn't know I was gonna preach it.

  196. I didn't know I was gonna pastor of regional center.

  197. I didn't know I was gonna get involved in having these types of Mandates that God put on me.

  198. That came with revelation as I obeyed the basic call to be a local church pastor.

  199. I obeyed that call and then, as I did, he started unfolding some other things for me to do, and so, oh, unbelief keeps us out of the promised land.

  200. Faith brings us in, he brings us into our inheritance.

  201. But the Israelites hardened their hearts and he's telling you you can do the same thing if you keep Messing around.

  202. See what it is real do if you read their history.

  203. I mean, they murmured from the first day.

  204. They never could keep their mouth shut.

  205. Yackity, yackity, yack, moses, why'd you bring us out here to kill us?

  206. Yeah, yeah, over and over.

  207. They murmured against the greatest prophet in the Bible Moses made him sin, made him violate.

  208. He struck the rock the second time and that cost him being able to go in the promised land.

  209. I mean, boy, that's kind of tough.

  210. He spoke inadvisibly with his lips and so, oh, over and over, they just hardened their hearts.

  211. And finally, and it says here, with whom was he grieve?

  212. Verse 17?

  213. See unbelief angers God.

  214. It angers God in the New Testament as well as the Old Testament.

  215. I don't know about you, but I want to please him.

  216. I don't want to make him mad.

  217. I Don't want to make him mad.

  218. I've heard him mad.

  219. He woke me up, told me to wake up the church, and let me tell you he was not kind, because I was one of the ones that needed to wake up.

  220. I didn't know, I didn't know I was asleep.

  221. You got to be kidding.

  222. I Thought I was awake to everything that was going on on the world.

  223. I mean, we wanted revival.

  224. We were traveling, going overseas, doing pastors conferences and India and the Philippines and everywhere else.

  225. I could go Working pretty hard.

  226. I mean, it's a full-time job plus and You're telling me that I need to wake up the church.

  227. He said I want you to wake up that, just like that.

  228. I want you to wake up the church.

  229. They're just like you Sleeping the bed with the covers pulled over their head.

  230. So he was not happy with me, he was mad and he's.

  231. He let me know, you don't want to hear that voice, you don't want to hear it.

  232. And I'm thinking what did?

  233. What did I miss, see?

  234. But I knew.

  235. I knew I had to find out and it took me a while to find out.

  236. I found out I was asleep.

  237. Concerning Israel, I Didn't know enough about Israel and Israel's Sigh as a sign to the church of the coming of the Lord, their regathering of Israel into their homeland in 1948, the year after I was born.

  238. Then God Lee you talk about Amazing to be living in this generation with his return of the Lord is being signaled.

  239. He's coming and I like to say Israel is the biggest billboard Bridge out five miles, bridge out two miles.

  240. If you keep reading bridge out, you're gonna sail off of the bridge into the, into the creek.

  241. No, we better get off that freeway.

  242. We better make an exit.

  243. I plan on exiting before the tribulation.

  244. Okay, we're gonna get out of here.

  245. Pre tribulation rapture.

  246. Pre tribulation exit.

  247. If you don't believe that well, I can't help you.

  248. All right.

  249. So Unbelief angers God and faith pleases him.

  250. It's just simple.

  251. How many everyone please God?

  252. Well, we need to be believers then we need to not doubt, we need to believe.

  253. Let's look at Mark, chapter 4, and we'll get an example here.

    Mark 4 chapter mention

  254. This is a great one of the great chapters in the Bible.

  255. This is a the parable of the sower sows the word.

  256. Jesus teaches from the boat.

  257. He bars Peter's boat and preaches the sower sows the word and Talks about four kinds of dirt.

  258. Three kinds of the dirt have a crop failure, 75% crop failure.

  259. When you sow the word, you've got a possibility of only 25% of getting a crop or a harvest.

  260. But when you do it's some 30, 60 and 100 fold.

  261. So it kind of makes up for the sowing that you do in other places that are not as successful.

  262. So he, you know, he's worked hard all day, he's preached this word and then he told him how the kingdom operated there in verse 26.

  263. So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground.

  264. So he shows them how the whole kingdom operates on the seed sowing principle and he's just preaching to him and teaching them and telling them what the parable meant.

  265. And he gets down there and finally again, and he gets down there and finally it gets late.

  266. Verse 35 and the same day, when the evening was come, he said unto them Let us pass over unto the other side.

  267. That's it written in red.

  268. Jesus spoke to his disciples.

  269. What did he say?

  270. He said let us pass over to the other side, the other side of the lake.

  271. In other words, we're going to get on the boat and get over on the other side.

  272. Let us pass over to the other side now.

  273. That's just a much of rama word as anybody ever got him.

  274. He told them what was going to happen.

  275. He didn't say let us pass over to the middle of the lake and sink.

  276. Let us pass over the middle of the lake and all drown.

  277. He said let us pass over to the other side.

  278. So they, when they sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship, and they were also with him other little ships and there were grow arose a mega storm.

  279. Great means mega, a mega storm of wind, kind of like the other night, a mega storm, and the waves beat into the ship so that it was now full, full of what?

  280. Full of water.

  281. I mean waves are breaking over over that ship and I mean it's sinking man.

  282. And so, and he was in the hindered part of the ship asleep on a pillow, and they awake him and they said under him, master Carousel, not that we perish, you care about nothing, we perish, you still asleep.

  283. Come on, what are we doing?

  284. And here rose.

  285. And what did he do?

  286. What he did?

  287. Two things.

  288. Number one, he rebuked the wind.

  289. Why?

  290. Because it's mega storm, mega wind.

  291. You're not gonna have any peace out there without with a wind blowing on water.

  292. You got to get rid of the wind first.

  293. So he rebuked the wind.

  294. And then he said to the sea peace be still.

  295. Say, there's an order in what he did, he did two miracles.

  296. I mean the wind ceased and the waves ceased.

  297. Now you know you can't do that in the natural man.

  298. You can't.

  299. Even if he stopped the wind, the sea is gonna still be kicking up for hours, probably a couple hours before it starts to calm down, even with no wind.

  300. But he had a mega calm and the sea just flattened out just like that Whoo.

  301. And then he said unto them see, you know, see how everything works.

  302. Just wake me up.

  303. Anytime you need anything, I'll take care of everything.

  304. Is that what he said?

  305. No, he rebuked them.

  306. He said unto them why are you so fearful?

  307. Number one question why are you so fearful?

  308. Let me ask you have you ever been out like in the Gulf when the wind was really blowing and you had a little big old wave?

  309. It's pretty hard not to be fearful.

  310. I wasn't even in the Gulf.

  311. I was in St Charles Bay and we had one of those storms come up and we had a 16 foot aluminum boat.

  312. My dad had an 18 horse mercury outboard on the back and it was loaded with a big old canvas tent in the middle of it.

  313. It was sitting low in the water when we left Mills Wharf.

  314. Anyway, go through Copano Bay Mills Wharf, it's Copano Bay then we go on down and we get St Charles and go into Mesquite.

  315. Anyway, get back to a cut.

  316. Cedar bio is the name of the cut between the Gulf and this bunch of bays down in South Texas.

  317. And there's this cut, that boy.

  318. The fish come back and forth through there speckled trout, red fish, tarpon, any.

  319. You never know.

  320. When you throw into that pass, you never know what you're going to catch.

  321. It's amazing, but it's 18, 20, almost 20 miles by boat to get there.

  322. And we struck out and man, I mean, the wind kicked up, the waves were kicking up, waves were breaking.

  323. We had, I mean, you know it was, and the boat is sitting down low and I mean I was afraid.

  324. I was 16, I guess, and maybe less than that, 14, probably 14.

  325. And even my dad knew he had to pull over.

  326. So we just pulled over in one of these little old shell reefs and got out of the boat and waited for the storm to and it got soaking wet, soaking wet, you know, and the boat finished having a lot of water in it.

  327. We had to bail the water out of the boat, so we spent about an hour waiting for the storm to go by.

  328. So, yeah, I could see under how you could be fearful, even though they're fishermen most of them.

  329. Why are you so fearful?

  330. And how is it that you have no faith, after I've preached all day about how to have faith, how I've preached all day that all you need is a word.

  331. All you need is a profitable word that you can believe, and if you can believe that word, you'll have a harvest.

  332. How is it that, after all that teaching all day long that I knew the Pharisees weren't gonna receive, but I wanted you to receive, and so I set you up for success?

  333. I gave you a word let us pass over to the other side, and you doubted it.

  334. How is it that you have no faith?

  335. He wasn't happy.

  336. He didn't say come on, brother, let me hug in here.

  337. Come on, come on up in here, give me a big hug.

  338. No, he didn't, he's mad.

  339. We need to get the right picture of our Savior and our Lord.

  340. Amen.

  341. We need to acquire some things.

  342. All right, here's a pop quiz for you.

  343. Which of the four parts of the parable?

  344. You had four kinds of word there.

  345. You had the stolen word the birds came and ate it right away, sown on, just by the wayside.

  346. Then you had the rocky soil.

  347. The word was sown and it says immediately it sprung up, but then, when the sun came out, it withered in other words, the heat of circumstances and it scorched the word and it didn't bring forth any fruit.

  348. So you had the stolen word, the scorched word.

  349. The next one was the strangled word.

  350. That was the word that was planted among thorns and bristles, which were the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, the lust of other things.

  351. Entering in chokes the word strangles the word and it becomes unfruitful.

  352. So you've got the stolen word.

  353. Was it the stolen word?

  354. Was it the scorched word, the strangled word, or the successful word, or we could call it the profitable word.

  355. The last one was the profitable word that's sown in a good and honest heart and it brings forth fruit, some 30, 60, and 100 fold.

  356. I don't hear anybody answering my question.

  357. Which one?

  358. Is it one, two, three or four?

  359. Well, four would have been successful.

  360. They didn't weren't successful.

  361. Jesus was successful.

  362. They failed.

  363. They didn't have any faith.

  364. They'll fail.

  365. They had zero faith.

  366. Really it was number two, because it was the heat of circumstances.

  367. Immediately they were offended.

  368. They got out there and as soon as the storm rose up, they were immediately offended.

  369. They didn't think about the word that Jesus spoke, they only thought about the storm, they only thought about the waves coming into the boat.

  370. So they were immediately offended.

  371. They didn't try to overcome it, they didn't speak the word.

  372. They didn't say you know, jesus said we're gonna pass over to the other side.

  373. Come on, fellas, let's rebuke this wind.

  374. Let's rebuke Now.

  375. I know it's kind of a tall order, but Jesus expected them to take what he had taught them and use it.

  376. Amen, all right.

  377. So there's an, a profitable word that we see wasn't used, and this is what happens.

  378. You know, if we're not careful, it's what happens to us.

  379. We can get a profitable word and we can not hold on to it when times are tough.

  380. All right, so, uh, you know what did God say about this year?

  381. See, god told me early, late, late last year, right before the beginning of this year, he said 2023 will be the year of God's power.

  382. And don't?

  383. We need power right now.

  384. We've got the worst economy we've had in 40 years.

  385. We have the highest there.

  386. They're there, listen.

  387. They're putting lipstick on a pig every day.

  388. They're not telling you the truth any place.

  389. You're not reading the real Story here.

  390. I'm not saying this to upset anybody.

  391. I'm just saying we've got to get out of this economy into God's economy.

  392. We've got to do things God's way.

  393. We've got to take the word that he gives us, a profitable word and hang on to it in the middle of this assault on our finances and this assault on us personally.

  394. Because I'm telling you right now We've got all the letter agencies, the Biden administration, all of them are after Christians.

  395. They hate our guts.

  396. Lena Hedogo hates us, hates us.

  397. She's the county judge, unfortunately.

  398. I mean, we just didn't get Really.

  399. It was another situation where they cheated.

  400. Yet again, they do.

  401. They do know how to cheat.

  402. The Democrats are the biggest cheaters.

  403. They know how to cheat.

  404. Republicans don't have the guts to cheat, all right.

  405. So I Say cheat back, all right.

  406. So you know we're gonna have to mix faith with that word and contend for it.

  407. That's for you.

  408. I mean, you know, when you're looking at your, your bank balance, oh, it's God's power.

  409. I mean I've got the power to get wealth.

  410. Glory to God.

  411. I, god, gave me the power to get wealth in 2023.

  412. I'm increasing.

  413. Maybe you're decreasing, it looks like, but no, you're increasing for what you're saying out of your mouth.

  414. The other day, we were deciding what to give brother wise men.

  415. Brother wise men came.

  416. How many of you would like to know what we gave him for an offering.

  417. He came on a Thursday night and came to Thursday night prayer.

  418. He wasn't even here for Sunday.

  419. I didn't receive an offering for him and nobody put anything in the envelope, nobody put anything in the offering plate, you know, and we didn't even talk about.

  420. But so at the end of the service, it was so powerful, we had a great time on Thursday night and he, he gave us some, some of his revelation, some of his dreams that he's had over the years for this church and Our family.

  421. I mean, he's just, he's a prophet of God.

  422. We just love him, we're connected and and so, you know, I had in my mind On the way over there, I thought well, we're gonna give him $3,000.

  423. I know we're gonna give him three.

  424. And While I was standing there talking to him, you know what I did I said you know, I'm just Jason, how, dad, I got to go write the check.

  425. How much do you want?

  426. I said give him 6,000?

  427. I just doubled it.

  428. There you go, devil, I'm gonna hit you right in the face.

  429. I'm gonna give twice as much.

  430. We're gonna give him twice as much as we had purposed in our heart, just for you, devil, take that.

  431. Oh, he was three, and he and Lorraine, they're so sweet, they don't ask for nothing.

  432. I mean, we got a, really we got a work To give them what they, they ought to have.

  433. I mean, you know, I try to send him a check to travel on and all that kind of thing, but they were blessed and so, talking about this, this year is a pivotal year and We've got to just take that word that God gave us and he didn't give it to just me, gave it to glorious way church.

  434. He gave it to us, he gave it to the whole church really.

  435. So we have to contend for it.

  436. So, you know, the next time a storm comes up, laugh at it.

  437. Don't get all intimidated.

  438. Don't start thinking oh man, inflation, oh my, I didn't know I was gonna owe this much tax.

  439. Oh, I didn't, I didn't know the doctor was gonna say that I didn't.

  440. You know Well, you know what laughs.

  441. Don't get intimidated, don't, don't let fear grip you.

  442. We've got the power to get wealth.

  443. We've got the power to defeat every kind of infirmity.

  444. Amen.

  445. Laugh at storms.

  446. They're vanishing, praise God.

  447. So I like a couple of things.

  448. I'll leave you here with this message how many have believed the profitable word is profitable for you.

  449. You Know, getting back to brother wise man, he Related a dream that he had it was tonight to two parts and the same night, real unusual.

  450. He had a dream that he woke up and then he had another dream that was related to the first dream and it's too long for me to share right now, but In that dream it came out A check from Canaan land is coming.

  451. A check from Canaan land.

  452. What in the world does that mean?

  453. So I, as he finished up, I knew that people had kind of sailed over some people's head.

  454. They didn't quite get it.

  455. But Canaan land is our promised land and our promised land is fixing to pay off.

  456. There is a transfer of wealth coming.

  457. I said there is a transfer of wealth and here's yet a different ministry, a separate ministry.

  458. He and I, of course we flow together A lot of times.

  459. He'll have a dream and I'll say well, did you think about this?

  460. No, I didn't get that connection and we'll just iron sharpens iron, we'll just go back and forth on the phone for 30 minutes and on that dream I did kind of help interpret that dream.

  461. And so then he preached that part of that dream on that Thursday night.

  462. And there's a check from your Canaan land coming.

  463. I'm telling you, there is a transfer of wealth from your promised land.

  464. I'm talking about money.

  465. Oh, come on, lift your hand right now.

  466. The power to get wealth.

  467. I said the power to get wealth.

  468. Well, we're independent from this economy.

  469. I said we're independent from this economy.

  470. All right, so in order to profit, number one, get out of the endeavor society that comes from Smith Wigglesworth.

  471. Get out of the endeavor society.

  472. I'm endeavoring to persevere.

  473. I'm endeavoring to persevere.

  474. No, get out.

  475. Faith is not endeavoring.

  476. Faith is not trying.

  477. Faith is an act.

  478. Faith is a leap.

  479. Faith is a jump, and his author is Jesus.

  480. Faith moves, faith works.

  481. It doesn't just, you know, sit around and look at things.

  482. It doesn't try.

  483. I'm gonna try that, I'm gonna try this, I'm gonna try the other.

  484. No, endeavoring is not faith.

  485. We're in the faith society.

  486. Get into the faith society.

  487. See, trying's an effort.

  488. Trying has no guarantee of success.

  489. You can try and try and try and not ever succeed, but faith is profitable.

  490. Faith will bring you the answer.

  491. Faith will bring you into the promised land.

  492. Faith will bring you a check.

  493. Faith will heal you.

  494. Glory to God.

  495. Now I go to Galveston, you know, three or four times a year and have for 30 years plus, and especially since we started the church.

  496. And then after, I guess, a couple of years, god said you're gonna have to start going more often.

  497. He challenged me because I was going like once a year.

  498. And he challenged me.

  499. He said you don't come, you don't go enough.

  500. So I started going about every quarter.

  501. Sometimes I don't make it, but I tried to go at least three to four times a year.

  502. I have gone a couple of times.

  503. I'd wake up and I just know I'm supposed to be in Galveston.

  504. I'd go with no reservation, just drive down there and check in and have my time of prayer.

  505. I rarely spend more than one night.

  506. From time to time Maybe I could count on one hand in all these years that I'd spent two nights.

  507. I do find with one night and if I don't have everything that I thought I should have, if I didn't get what I should have gotten, I usually come home and I'll meditate on what I did here and then I get it completed once I get home.

  508. So it's not a burden to go, it's exciting.

  509. So one time I went and I always stayed right on the sea wall, same place, holiday Inn, right on the sea wall Boulevard Been going there all these years and this particular time I went and sat down on the sea wall and was looking out over the Gulf and I noticed this guy in a kayak.

  510. Well, you don't see a lot of kayaks on the Gulf.

  511. I mean kayaks are for calm or water.

  512. I mean the wind was blowing that day.

  513. The flags were straight out, wind blowing right out of the South and it was a rough surf.

  514. And that poor guy I don't think he had goggles on.

  515. If it was me I would have had some goggles, but he didn't.

  516. He's down there and he gets in that kayak sitting down and he does that little you know, little ore, little double-ended ore that they have, and he's going like this and he's going right into the surf and those waves are breaking over the bow of that kayak, hitting full in the face.

  517. Bam, you know he turn his head and blow his water out of his nose.

  518. You don't salt water, man, it burns when it hits you in the face like that.

  519. And he kept going and he finally reached the end of the jetties you know out about that far and it was still breaking over him and finally he got out there where the waves weren't breaking, and so he would just go up and down, up, but bobbing up and down.

  520. And I watched him and it was at least a mile offshore.

  521. I don't know where he was going to, cuba, yucatan.

  522. I don't know where he's headed.

  523. I mean, I couldn't believe it.

  524. I couldn't believe he was still going out.

  525. Does he know he's got to come back?

  526. I mean, ah, lee, that's a long way out there.

  527. I wondered about the Coast Guard having to rescue the guy, but anyway, he'd go down in the bottom and he'd pop right back up on the top.

  528. You know, and I watched and watched, you know, kind of grinning the whole time, wondering when I was going to see him turn around, and never did see him turn around, and finally the Holy Ghost told me.

  529. He said that's your faith working.

  530. I said what?

  531. That's your faith working?

  532. Your faith is working 24 seven.

  533. It's paddling all night long while you're laying in bed asleep.

  534. Your faith is paddling.

  535. It's bringing you to your desired haven.

  536. It's bringing you to your desired destiny.

  537. Oh, glory to God.

  538. Your faith is working 24 seven.

  539. You don't have to stay up all night long making anything.

  540. Once you're in faith, it brings a rest.

  541. Amen, glory to God.

  542. That's the faith society instead of the endeavor to persevere society.

  543. And then the second thing is get out of bed.

  544. Get out of reason into faith.

  545. Reason is man's, it's the voice of the mind and head.

  546. Faith or reason doesn't get anything with God, it just gets you more confused.

  547. Look at Matthew 16, turn to Matthew 16.

  548. Here you getting anything out of this Talking about the profitable word?

  549. Oh, I'm glad we have it.

  550. Verse five you know they had gone on another boat trip.

  551. They'd gone, and it says verse six, verse five when the disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

  552. They forgot to take bread.

  553. And then Jesus said unto them take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

  554. And they reasoned among themselves, saying it's because we have taken no bread.

  555. I told you to get the bread.

  556. It's laying there on the countertop.

  557. Peter, what's wrong with you?

  558. I told you to get the basket.

  559. It's got all the bread we need for the trip.

  560. Why didn't you take which?

  561. When Jesus perceived, he said to them oh, you have little faith.

  562. Why reason ye among yourselves because you've brought no bread.

  563. Do you not yet understand either?

  564. Remember the five loaves of the 5,000 and how many baskets you took up?

  565. Neither the seven loaves of the 4,000 and how many baskets you took up.

  566. How is it that you do not understand that I speak not to you concerning bread, that you should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

  567. He wasn't talking about food.

  568. He wasn't talking about bread.

  569. He's talking about don't let them influence you, don't act like them.

  570. Hypocrites, why did sepulchres is what he called them?

  571. Don't be like them.

  572. Don't let them leaven you, don't let them affect you.

  573. Why are you reasoning?

  574. How is it that you have little faith?

  575. Oh, you have little faith.

  576. See, little faith reasons.

  577. Little faith tries to figure everything out.

  578. You're not gonna figure God out.

  579. You're not gonna figure God's plan out.

  580. He's gonna show it to you, he's gonna reveal it to you in his time.

  581. But faith just acts on the Word.

  582. Faith is an act, faith is a leap.

  583. Faith jumps in, faith claims.

  584. Faith has an author.

  585. His name is Jesus.

  586. So the profitable Word, mixed with faith, brings you into your promised land.

  587. Mixed with faith, it brings you into your inheritance.

  588. Amen.

  589. Let's lift our hands for the profitable Word.

  590. Father, we thank you for the profitable Word tonight and we're committed to listening, and not reasoning, and acting on what we hear.

  591. Hallelujah, hallelujah In Jesus' name, amen.
